Wait did I ever make a post here about Caladbolg things or was that on discord? I can't find it when searching my blog but also when does one ever.

Anyways all commanders get a piece of the broken sword after HoT. They all go on their own little adventures to reforge it. Fittingly enough there are five reforged caladbolg weapons in the game.

Yorg makes it a greatsword again. Restores it as best he can to it's former glory. It itself is a legend and it is here to tell it's tale. Through it Trahearnes work will not be forgotten.

Posh makes it into a scepter. Caladbolg is an object of powerful magic, fueled by the hands that held it. Through it Trahearnes work can go on.

Ruck makes it into a shield. Caladbolg had been forged to protect Tyria, and now it has been reforged to continue that duty. Through it Trahearnes achievements will endure.

Aluen makes it into sword. Caladbolg had allowed them to drive back the dragon threat and now it will carry that momentum. Through it Trahearnes death can be avenged.

Fenquin makes it into a dagger. Caladbolg had been shattered as a sacrifice. Through it that sacrifice is given power.

Valoop makes it into a seed and plants at her lost friends feet. He had grown in Caladbolgs light and now Caladbolg will grow in his soil. Through it Trahearne will live on.

ive been having mothman shigaraki brainrot for the longest time. i reread the asylum and the brood DAILY. would you ever consider making a part 3 where shig and the reader raise their kids but shig is like it’s not enough and wants to give her more kids?

Oh wow, thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed those two so much. Not gonna lie, Mothman Shigaraki remains one of my favorite things I’ve done. Honestly though, I don’t really have any plans for a part 3. If an idea ever strikes me that isn’t a retread of the first two parts, then maybe…but for right now that’ll stay a two parter.

Finished playing Weird West...Interesting concept and some of the ideas but daaaaaammnnnnn... repetitive with too many too similar settings.. Not enough variety.. and not enough NPCs with dialogue trees that lead somewhere...Also there could have been more NPCs with just..random lore and stories of their own life?...but no... They didnt use that potential

And worst of all... For a game thats supposed to be a Weird West it wasnt weird enough u_u

The Greek Mythos Project: What We Accept Within Submissions

Hello everyone, it is once again Camila here and I am writing this post because I decided I should probably clarify things sooner than later. I know I and quite a few other lovely people can struggle with open barriers within things, especially in such a large and "imposing" project, so I decided to write down the general specifics of things to lessen everyone's anxiety. This can and will definitely be improved if we are given more information/questions/asked for clarification so feel free to check every once in a while or reach out if you don't see a specific question you have answered. This is once again here to promote better communication within things and break down this large project to more manageable things. So, let's get into it!

[Note: This post will go from the broader, more unspecific, topics to the smaller, more specific ones so feel free to scroll down or up as you please :)]

The Biggest Thing First! One Singular POV. This is something that I, Camila, want for the project and therefore, it will be the most enforced thing within here. Don't worry, though! We will be releasing a Second Work alongside this main project consisting of things that didn't quite fit into the original project, such as works that aren't exactly (or at all) one POV but still want to be recognized or OC pieces that are like reincarnations of various gods/mortals/characters which I'll get into later. So you work has a place with us, I promise you <3.

Anyway, back to the One Singular POV thing. It genuinely does not matter whether the piece is First Person, Second Person, Third Person, or something within those parameters as long as the setting, scene, thoughts, and work are being described in that one character's thoughts/experiences. A great example of this in Third Person is in the Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan, a popular YA Book Series centering around Greek Mythology in a Modern Setting told by their Demigod Children, where the narrative is in Third Person POV but it only ever follows whoever's POV it's in. Such as we do see the character's actual name and "he/she/they" instead of "I" but we're not privy to anything other than what the character is experiencing.

That is what I am asking for, and I am asking for this mostly for myself!) As we all may know by now, this project was created because I--Camila--took one look at my goal to rewrite the entirety of Greek Mythology in my search to learn more about the Greek Myths, was like "yeah... no," and then proceeded to make this public with the intent to bring out those niche writers, gain a community, make friends, and generally learn more about the various communities and ideas surrounding such a vast and deep thing such as Greek Mythology (remember, people not only know this across the globe, but across centuries. It's not just our ideas and the original texts, it's the Roman Empire's thoughts, the Rise of Christianity, all of our forefathers, and even those who we have read dissecting these things and creating academic papers or other works. It's just so interesting how much character and change and even how much influence various things have had on our modern perceptions). But, this is also a Project, this is also mine, and so I am very politely asking for it to be One POV of a Greek Mythological Character--However Niche They May Be--Only.

3 scary games 103 sent me down a molly moon rabbithole, and by that i mean i watched all of her tiktoks lmao

honestlyyyy, after actually watching her content, i'm even more disappointed in what we saw in the "excuse me, sir" demo. she genuinely seems to have a lot of creepy, interesting ideas that could be interesting to expand upon, and her content could be translated pretty easily into a full video game if approached right, but the story they chose to tell in the demo was just kind of.....boring. there wasn't much flavor or personality or, well, horror to it, which sucks cuz it seems like there's a lot of talent behind it. it is just a demo, though, so i really do hope that whatever comes out of it does live up to the quirky horror of her videos, this just.....didn't really feel like that based on my observations, lmao.

While I don't know much about it, I would probably bet there are tons of issues with the cruise industry that would make me not actually appreciate it broadly speaking - HOWEVER, I do really love a lot of the interior design of some cruise ships.. How it's almost like a miniature city crammed into one area. Multiple sections with all different aesthetic designs, a variety of shops, restaurants, activity centers, community seating areas, communal use spaces (like gyms, laundry, pools, cafeteria/buffet (which I always love anywhere)), etc. etc. but then also everyone has a little nice clean comfortable looking space of their own to retreat back to if they'd like to be alone. Maybe it's something akin to the idea of 'walkable cities', where everything you could ever want to do is kind of right there just a short walk away? I also especially love how so much stuff is stacked on top of other stuff, a layered cluster of spaces, bright open atriums, and when they're set up with little walkways down the center between a bunch of rooms so it's almost like a mini city street with apartments lining it, etc.. They often seem like they'd be SUCH a cool place to live permanently, IF only something identical was just built on solid land instead lol

I decided to give a go to @niennanir’s lovely print-your-own-fic recipe on my Inside and Out as a test run and I’m quite pleased with the results as a first pass :D

I wish I’d taken a few more process pictures but there was a slight lull as I had to go shopping for 12x12 cardstock lol, but! I do have a couple closeups/extras that I added for funsies :D

I went with freehanding the title and I think in the future I would opt to not do that lol, at least not without a printed template. That said, both LibreOffice and SAI refuse to recognize my SCII fonts >:0 If you notice on the first page, I used the Ace Attorney font in italic haha, it’s an okay alternative even if it’s not what I actually want |0 I am happy with the gold detailing tho :3c

I did have an unconscionable amount of fun freehanding the ship caption tho ahh <3 <3 Immediate happy stims upon completion, their names together look so pretty ♥ Credit to Zarla’s original minicomic on that one :3

I also managed to get the last sentence of the fic isolated on the last page thanks to the formatting haha ♪

I was also able to add a bookmark! Ma happened to have a couple very thin ribbons to choose from and red ended up complementing the green very prettily!
