— whenever hamzah plays a game with voice chat, he’ll make you wear his headset and talk into the mic as if you’re playing, just to troll the randoms (and also to show off how good he is at the game)
— if hamzah was streaming on twitch, he'd try to pull you into the frame to show you off, even if you didn’t want to show your face right after waking up
— if hamzah’s tired from editing videos, he’ll beg you to finish it for him. you always say no, so he ends up doing it himself anyway, muttering, "just say you hate me…"
— he’d always refer to you as "mom" or "mama" whenever talking to red and blue
— would send you instagram reels, and you’d hear him laughing from the other room.
"you know you can just show me in person, right?"
— before hamzah would put on his glasses, he’d always make you wear them first and admire how cute you looked in them, even though you had perfect eyesight
— every month, you two would create a new Spotify collab playlist and try to make them have a similar vibe
"okay, why did it transition from bladee to lily chou-chou?"
— you two would definitely have matching discord profile pictures, but not the typical anime couple ones—more like sonic the hedgehog and mario kissing
— he’s not really into pda, but if you were hanging out with friends and everyone stepped out of the room, he’d start hugging you, clinging onto you, and kissing your face everywhere. but if someone walked in, he’d quickly pull away acting all suspicious and shy
— before going to bed, he’d purposely pull all the blankets away and hog them for himself, leading to you two playfully fighting in bed
— his tiktok drafts are filled with you two doing couple trends or dances. you’d usually film them after getting high, then spend hours re-watching them and laughing your ass off
— if he was busy for the day, he'd text you every time he was doing something
"filming right now!"
"gonna get some food you want anything babe?"
"taking a massive shit rn.."
— you trained him to be the perfect photographer for you. even though him recording himself is his job, this man still has no clue how to take pictures for anyone else
— when you guys go shopping, hamzah actually pays attention and helps you pick things out
"do you think this top is cute babe?"
"ehh.. i like this one better."
— he’d always put you onto new music and give you the artist's backstory, sharing all the little details about them
— if either blue or red was laying on your lap, hamzah would playfully snatch them away from you
"don't touch my kid"
"you mean OUR kid??"
— he would always mention you during the podcast but in the most out of pocket way.
"yeah y/n loves to smell my farts. that's what i think true love is."
"dude? what are you saying?"

The sky was angry, that much was certain. Between the flashes of lightning that turned night to day, and the massive claps of thunder that shook the very ground…there was much rage. I couldn’t understand for the life of me why…until I heard a clatter in my storage shed. I lived alone in the woods, nothing just fell…
Now I’m not a cautious person. I’m not scared by this, I don’t rush to grab a kitchen knife or sword or what have you. It is probably just some scared critter trying to take cover from the storm. I can’t blame them, I don’t plan on kicking them out. All I plan to do is make their stay more comfortable and nothing less. So out in the storm I go to the shed…I don’t much feel the cold anymore, just like I don’t feel the warmth either. Sort of numb anymore, but that is neither here nor there. I open the shed to see…
…a little girl. She was muddy and terrified and quickly she grabbed…a spade…to defend herself. I make no aggressive movement. The sheer amount of fear pouring off of her could almost be smelled in the air. This girl was being chased, hell hunted. She looked like a cornered fox during the hunt.
“Hello.”
I stayed by the door to the shed. I wasn’t going to encroach in her space more than I had to. Tears were streaming down her cheeks. She swings the spade a couple of times but honestly no harm no foul in my book. She is scared, I get it. What ever was chasing her must be pretty…
…oh. I pause to look back over my shoulder. Something entered my land, Oh a lot of somethings. They should know better. I have signed treaties by the king. At least now I know why she is running.
“Pl…please…please don’t give me to them. Please I beg of you…I…I don’t want to die…not like that…not like that.”
She just fell to her knees sobbing. My heart broke in that moment, started to beat faster too. This is what it feels like to be angry again eh? It’s been a while, I had almost forgotten. It was nice not being angry, not being bothered. Still, all good things come to an end. I…I didn’t want this to happen so soon. I didn’t want to give it up…I wanted it for a bit longer, to cherish it. I’ll miss it…
…my peace and quiet.
Still all good things come to an end I suppose. I can’t be idle, not right now. I’m a bastard but I’m not a monster…though I suppose that depends on what legends you listen to. I offered the little girl my hand.
“I won’t give you to them. Here you are safe, you don’t need to hide out here. Come into the main part of the house, sit by the fire. I have stew…and I’ll talk to these nice ‘people’. We’ll get it all sorted out.”
She seemed hesitant and I couldn’t blame her, she doesn’t know me from anyone and when she grabbed my hand she sent a bit of power through me. I knew she was just feeling out my intentions and emotions, I wasn’t going to begrudge her a little protection. Then she looked very confused…and I just smiled…this girls aura is clean. She has done nothing wrong, crossed no moral lines anyway. I’m just interested to see why they were hunting her through the forest. She got up and went with me to my main house. I wrapped her in a blanket, put her in front of the fire with some stew and a lovely hunk of bread I made myself. I pulled my curtains of course; they don’t need to be looking in my window. She’ll be safe, I know it.
BANG! BANG!
“OPEN UP IN THE NAME OF THE INQUISITION! UNDER ORDER OF THE HOLY GOD SOLAS, WE DEMAND ENTRANCE INTO YOUR HOME!”
That is someone who thinks they have power here, at least by the tone of their voice. The little girl jumps of course, big scary man hammering on a door would do that to anyone. A little pat to her shoulder before I turn to the door. She was still confused, but a little less scared. I bet she is still trying to process what she learned about me, takes a bit really. I don’t blame her. Still she was eating now, that was good.
When I opened the door I was greeted by the sight of a dozen armored and armed men. One of course was better armed and armored than the rest, he wore a very familiar symbol on his chest. I smile of course, I’m shorter than they are and unarmed. I’m not a threat to them…in their eyes.
“Sir, do you know where you are? Don’t worry I’ll answer that question for you. This is the Forbidden Forest. There has been a treaty in place for the last one hundred and fifty years that keep the kingdom and their enforcers, that would be you, from entering without the expressed consent of the individual that lives here, that would be me. You are breaking a treaty written in blood and supported by the king. Is that something you desire to do? I’ll let you leave right now and we’ll just call this whole ordeal a mistake.”
There was a pause in the leader as he thought of my words. It was almost as though no one had spoken to him like that before. How irritating. Have things fallen out of favor that hard.
“The king no longer rules. The Holy Pope no governs the realm, as the king as beheaded for heresy. All agreements are then null and void. We have authority here, let us in. We are searching for a witch. We…”
I raised my hand and he actually stopped talking. I didn’t think that would work, they clearly aren’t spoken back to at all very often. I could see the soldiers behind him look a bit confused as well.
“What is a witch?”
I needed clarification on that. I don’t know that term save for as a slur against women who were powerful. It was never a good thing and only used for oppression. I don’t like oppression.
“A witch…a woman born with power. That is an affront to our Lord Solas and they must be exterminated. Women are not meant to have power.”
Bigots…I don’t let my smile falter at all. NO matter the century no matter the cause there are always bigots, I know how to deal with bigots. I take one step outside and shut my door. Then they don’t have any line of sight into my house and that little girl will be safe, and she won’t see what comes next.
“First of all they are called Sorcerers, NOT Witches. Witches is a bigoted name used to push women down and allow men to commit violence against them. A person born with power is a Sorcerer, or a bard, or a druid…NOT a witch. Second of all, I don’t care for this Pope who likes to commit violence against women. IN that frame of mind, I’ve decided to resist. You will not be hunting that sweet little girl anymore, and I’ve decided not to forgive you trespassing on my land. You can pray now, if you think it will help.”
I’m old, but not weak. I live alone in a rather dangerous forest…but I’m left alone. It took the creatures of this place one week after I moved in more than one hundred years ago to learn that lesson. All of them laughed a little bit, a mocking tone that I did not much appreciate but I cannot blame them either, they’re idiots…and know not what they do.
“Listen here old man….”
I didn’t want to hear his insult so I punched him square in the breast place. I held back, but only a little bit. He hit the ground hard, about fifteen yards away with his chest caved in. Geeze, I am out of practice aren’t I? Oh well, I’ll have time to get back into the swing of things.
“I’d tell all of you who I am but if you knew that you wouldn’t be here in the first place. I’m going to let you run…and who ever gets to the forest first gets to deliver my message to your Pope. The sleeping giant has awoken and will lay waste to your empire.”
I killed one more after they took a few swings, they might as well be standing still for how slow they are. I’ve been training for a very long time, first as a paladin and then as a monk. I don’t age anymore…I’m older then the country they fight for.
Okay…so I killed three before the other eight turned to run. It was a new one in the least amount of armor who was able to run the fastest. Go figure, the one with the least amount of sin in his aura is the one who would get away. Good for him. They aren’t powerful, not even hardly trained. It looks like they just grabbed people who were bullies and gave them armor and a title and sent them out to do the bidding of the Pope. I’m faster, I’m stronger…and I killed the last seven of them as the rain poured and the thunder shook the ground.
“Solas this is your fault you know. If you talked to the people who would do villainy in your name maybe they wouldn’t. You owe me for what I’m about to do and don’t for one moment think that if you don’t repay me I won’t come up there and show you just how upset I am at having to leave my peace and quiet. You can start by cleaning up these bodies…and ask Tempest to cut the storm out, I’m going to protect all the women, not just this one.”
I knew my words would carry, I haven’t spoken to the gods for a long time…and when I speak they listen. The storm…it died down very quickly and in a bright flash of light the bodies were gone. I had to smirk just a little bit…I still had it at least. That one would get lost in no time, so I had a cushion to get to the pope and kill him. I didn’t want to, but at this point I had to. There wasn’t diplomacy with this. There was murder and that was it. They needed to see their god crumble, that is how it always ended. That is how it needed to end. I thought I could get outside of the cycle.
Back in the house the little girl had been watching through the window and she scrambled back to her seat when I walked back in. The air was still thick with her fear, and well I can’t blame her. I just killed eleven people right in front of her with no weapon or spell. One hundred years ago I could have done it without her even seeing.
“Don’t worry, I’m not going to hurt you. You coming here was the wake up call I needed. I’m…I’m sorry things got so bad.”
I move to sit opposite her on the fire and put a kettle to warm up. We have plenty of time to move, I was going to let her sleep for a while before asking if she wanted to join me, but after a few minutes of silence and her just looking at me, she spoke first.
“I’m need to come with you. They still have my mom. Too many have been hurt. Too many have died.”
Things were bad, she wouldn’t sleep anyway would she? I just nudge the stew to her, and she picks it up and starts eating. There is a sigh that tumbles past my lips as I look at her and just nod. How could I say no really. Not that I had planned to but maybe I could have talked myself into going alone. Maybe when this is all said and done they’ll let me have my peace again. When the Pope’s body is thrown down the stairs to his followers and they see their gods have condemned them instead of helping, maybe that will be enough…but it rarely is. Tomorrow is going to be a long day.
"P-please. Don't let them take me…" A witch, a young girl pleaded as she hides in your shed. You see the fear in her eyes as you hear the armored footsteps of the inquisition approached your home. Your heart thumps. They don't take heretics lightly nor one that shields them from their hold.

Ultraviolence dark!abby Anderson x fem!reader

So I had this fics in the works before I posted this little Drabble thing, I just wasn’t sure if people wanted it! I really hope that this is good, I honestly haven’t written much dark stuff so I’m sorry if this is actually asscheeks. Anyway hope you enjoy!! Love u angels 🤍
Cw: dark!abby she’s abusive and toxic. Reader is kidnapped and held in a basement. Abuse. I guess reader lowkey being starved. Literally basic human necessities taken away from her. Abby is manipulative.
Songs to listen to if you want: ultraviolence by Lana
𝜗𝜚 Abby, who kidnaps you and holds you captive in her home on the outskirts of the city where no one really comes.
𝜗𝜚 The first couple of weeks you fight, you scream, you do everything to get away from her. She entertains it, but why the 4th week does she get fucking irritated
𝜗𝜚 After a failed escape attempt, she throws you down the dark basement and locks you there for however long it takes to break you and to make you depend on her fully.
“LET ME OUT OF HERE, YOU BITCH!” Your throat is practically raw at this point from all the screaming. There was a small dirty mattress, pillow, and blanket there, a bucket, and a small window that had iron bars on it so you couldn’t escape through there. She would come back for you, right?
You were wrong, the only time she would come down was to give you food, and the food wasn’t much. Just a sandwich and water for the whole day, it’s safe to say she was depriving you of basic human necessities. You tried to stay strong the first week, talking to yourself, sleeping most of the time, anything to keep you grounded, but after that week when Abby still didn’t come to get you is when you start to freak out. You so desperately wished someone would talk to you or touch you.
God, Abby’s touches you missed, whether it had been because she was beating you black and blue or helping you change clothes, you just missed them lots. You needed her, you needed her praise, her degradation, you needed her to validate you as a person.
The second week in is where you break, You get scared, very scared. You scream for Abby, not stopping, but she does not come get you, little do you know, she’s behind the door listening to your screams and cries and relishing in the fact that you are breaking down bit by bit.
By the third week, all you can do is curl up in a ball and hope that Abby will take mercy on you and come back.
——————————
After a while, the basement door opens and Abby walks in, your eyes open. You don’t know whether to believe what you’re seeing, you feel a hand on your cheek brushing away a tear you didn’t know you let out.
She’s really here
“A-Abby?…” You call out to her weakly, more tears spill out. She doesn’t say anything but picks you up and takes you to the living room, where she sits on the couch with you in her lap. She wraps a fuzzy blanket around you.
All you can do is bury your face in the crook of her neck and cry, she rubs your back in a comforting manner.
“Are you going to be a good girl for me, angel?” She questions as she lifts your head up to look at her. Nodding your head ‘yes’ puts a smile on Abby’s face, she knows she’s broken you, and she couldn’t be happier.
“None of that escaping stuff anymore, okay? You’re here to stay with me, angel. If you’re a good girl, everything will be fine, and you’ll get rewarded. If you disobey me again, I’ll punish you ten times worse, got it?” Her face is serious and scary, which makes you let out a small whimper. You don’t have a choice in the matter anymore, it’s better to just be good and obey, right?
By now you’ve also forgotten the fact that you were kidnapped by Abby and that your face is all over the news. Your family is distraught that you’re gone, but hey, Abby thinks the missing person poster would look so cute framed in her office!
“Mhm, I get it, Abby. I’ll be good, I promise.”
Sorry this fic is actual ass it’s so BORING

just found your account and i love your writing! would you make an imagine where bff jj and bff reader are obsessed with eachother and the’re both confident and always flirts with each other and its so obvious the’re in love with each other. dont really have a plot in mind i just really love the trope and dynamic you know

bsf!jj maybank x fem!reader | hurt & comfort | (slight angst, don’t want to spoil it so no more warnings!!!)
thankyou angel!!! hope this is okay, i strayed a bit from the request but this came to mind :)
︶︶︶ ⊹ ︶︶ ୨♡୧ ︶︶︶ ⊹ ︶︶︶
The dynamic between you and JJ was confusing, not just for the two of you but for everyone that ever came across you. Your friends had gotten used to the flirting, the touching and the goo-goo eyes you’d give each other across the room. Your classmates didn’t understand what you were to each other, you’d say you were best friends but then you’d be sat in his lap with him kissing your neck for the majority of a kegger.
“Why don’t you just admit it?” You had the same conversation at least once a week. Sarah was adamant that you had feelings for the blonde, she also had a bet going with John B that you’d be the first to confess.
“Because that would be lying,” you replied with a smirk, you were teasing her and she knew it.
“No it wouldn’t!” Sarah exclaimed, watching as you snorted into your drink. She glared at you. You may be amused, but she’s far from it.
“Look, I know you love the idea of me and JJ getting married, having babies and being in love but it’s just not gonna happen,” you explained with a shrug.
She huffed, taking a sip from her glass of wine. You figured she’d be pouting for the next hour, so you were surprised when you saw a small smirk play on her lips. You raised an eyebrow at her, tilting your head to the side as you waited for her to say what she was thinking.
“What’s the look about, Cameron?” You asked after she’d been silent for too long.
“I was just thinking,” she said, now grinning from ear to ear as if she’d had an epiphany. “If you don’t like JJ, then you wouldn’t mind him going on a date. Right?”
“JJ doesn’t date,” you responded quickly. It wasn’t an excuse, really it wasn’t. JJ isn’t a commitment kind of guy, his longest relationship is with the milk in his fridge.
“Trust me, he’ll want to date this girl. She came to the shop the other day and he was pretty much drooling,” Sarah stated. It was an exaggeration, but you didn’t need to know that. Not if her plan was going to work.
“And you know her?” You questioned, brows furrowing. You took a long sip of your wine, the thought of JJ drooling over a girl made your stomach turn.
Sarah nodded her head. “We went to school together.”
“She’s a Kook?” You laughed, all anxiety leaving your body. “Yeah, okay, good luck with that Sare.”
“Are you saying you’re okay with it?” Sarah asked.
“It’s non of my business who or what JJ dates. I’m not his girlfriend,” you responded. You didn’t need to worry. He wouldn’t say yes, not to a date with a Kook; maybe not to a date with anyone.
“Great,” Sarah shrugged, smiling smugly at you.
JJ and John B didn’t come back in from the shop until after the sun had set, you assumed they’d closed up a couple hours ago and ended up smoking a joint together so they didn’t have to share with everyone.
You and Sarah were laid on the couch, watching a movie. John B walked in first, a goody grin on his face at the sight of his wife. “Hello, ladies.”
“Good shift?” Sarah asked, leaning up so he could press a peck to his lips.
For a split second you felt lonely, before JJ came bouncing into the room and jumped on top of you. You groaned, shoving at his waist. “Ouch, J!”
“Missed ya,” he grinned, pressing dramatic kisses all over your face. You could feel Sarah’s gaze on you, you had to fight the urge to turn around and punch her.
“JJ, I’ve got you a date for Saturday night,” Sarah stated. She’d texted the girl, Chloe, earlier. You’d pretended not to care when Chloe had responded and said yes.
“Huh?” You could feel him freeze above you, eyes narrowing at her.
“A date, never heard of one?” She teased. “It’s with the girl that came into the shop the other day, Chloe? I already asked her and she said yes so unless you can come up with a valid reason not to go then you’re going.”
A valid reason. There was a very big one right underneath him, but he couldn’t say that. He racked his brain, but nothing came to mind. “Uh, alright, I guess. But you can’t be mad at me if I never call her again.”
“I can and I will. But, I don’t think that’ll be an issue. You guys are quite similar, she loves surfing, smokes a shit ton of weed and she’s hot. What else could you want?” Sarah asked.
“So you think I’m hot?” JJ joked, making John B reach over and punch him in the bicep. He groaned, letting out a laugh. “Sorry, sorry. I guess she sounds alright. What d’you think?”
You looked up, he was staring right at you. His head was tilted. He was asking for your permission. That’s not what best friend’s are supposed to do. Best friend’s don’t ask for permission to date other people, and they definitely don’t feel physically sick just at the idea of it.
“Sounds fun,” you murmured, giving him a fake smile.
He nodded slowly, as if he didn’t fully believe you. “I guess I’m going on a date then.”
“Guess you are.”
———
Saturday night came around far too quickly for your liking. All week, ever since JJ had agreed to go on this date, it’s all you could think about. You’d laid awake staring at the ceiling wondering what your relationship would be like if he had a girlfriend. During your shift together on Wednesday, you watched as he texted back and forth with someone; you assumed Chloe. Was he really that excited about this date he had to text her?
He didn’t mention it, not until he came into your room and asked for your help on picking a shirt. You picked the uglier one, but he still managed to look perfect.
“How do I look?” He asked, giving you a smirk as he pulled the collar down.
“Like a new man,” you teased, but your tone wasn’t as energetic as usual. You felt like shit, you shouldn’t be praying on your best friend’s downfall, you should be happy for him. But you can’t bring yourself to find this good.
“Well, gotta look good to impress a Kook,” he shrugged.
If this date was with you, you wouldn’t care what he wore. He could dress in a bin-bag and you’d still find him gorgeous. Over the last week you’ve come to the horrible realisation that maybe Sarah’s right. Maybe you do have feelings for JJ.
“You alright?” He asked softly, sitting down on the bed next to you.
“Huh? Yeah, I’m fine,” you nodded, giving him a small smile.
“You sure?” He didn’t look convinced, his hand rubbing your thigh gently. “Y’look upset. You want me to stay home? We can watch a movie or somethin’.”
“What? No, JJ, I’m fine, don’t be silly,” you laughed him off.
“It’s not silly if you need me,” he argued, other hand moving to stroke your hair. “You’d tell me if there was something wrong, right?”
You nodded your head, leaning up to kiss his cheek. “Go on, you’re gonna be late.”
“Will you text me if you need me?” He murmured, looking unsure. There was something going on in his head, but you weren’t sure you wanted to know what it was.
“Yeah, Jayj,” you reassured softly. “Have a good time, okay?”
“I will,” he smiled, kissing your temple. “See you later, sweetheart.”
You spent ten minutes moping in your bedroom before Sarah was storming in. “Are you going to admit it yet? Or are you going to sit in here all night crying?”
“I’m not crying,” you argued, glaring at her. It wasn’t her fault, not really, but you needed someone to be mad at and she was in the closest vicinity.
“You like him.” It wasn’t a question this time, it was a statement, and you didn’t deny it. “Get dressed, we’re gonna go get drunk.”
“What?” You sighed.
“You heard me. Put on something cute, put on a smile and get ready to get plastered. I’m sorry I set him up, and the way I’ll apologise is by getting you out of this funk,” Sarah ordered.
There was no use arguing with Sarah Cameron, you’d learnt that a long time ago. So, you forced yourself out of bed and put on a dress. John B didn’t say much when he drove the two of you to a sea-food restaurant on the pier, he just gave you a smile as you got out the Twinkie.
She lead you inside, it only took a few seconds for you to spot him. He was staring right at you, a gentle smile on his face. The most shocking part? There was no girl sat opposite him.
“What’s going on?” You asked, turning to look at Sarah.
“Have a good date,” she murmured, kissing your cheek before turning around and heading back out the door.
“Wha— Sarah!” You tried calling after her, you were sure you could hear her giggling.
JJ slowly stood up and walked towards you, stopping only a few inches away. He was grinning, you were utterly confused. “What the fuck is going on? Where’s Chloe?”
“Sarah never texted Chloe,” he said softly. “You think she’s a damn idiot? As if I’d ever go on a date with anyone but you.”
“I’m so confused right now,” you huffed. “You lied to me!”
There were people starting to stare at the two of you. JJ took your waist and lead you outside, giving the pair of you some privacy. “I wasn’t lying… At first. I thought she really did set me up, and I said yeah to be polite. I was gonna pretend to be sick or somethin’.”
“And then?”
“When you went to bed, she told me the real plan. I go on a ‘date’, she gets you here and we surprise you. I nearly blew it all off earlier, you looked upset and I never want to be the reason you’re upset,” JJ explained, letting out a sigh.
“What about all the texting? When we were on shift, you were constantly smiling at your phone,” you accused.
He smiled sheepishly, looking at the ground. “Sarah and John B were pretty excited about all this, they made a groupchat. My phones been blowing up all week.”
“What’s it called?” You murmured.
“Operation lovebirds,” he stated, making you giggle quietly.
“That’s stupid.”
“Yep.”
It was silent for a moment, him looking at you and you looking around as if someone was going to jump out with a camera and yell gotcha! You just had one more question, but it was probably the most important.
“Why are we on a date, JJ?” You asked quietly, finally making eye contact with him. “Why did you set all this up? Why do you have a groupchat?”
He gulped, letting out a deep breath. His arms wrapped around your waist, forehead leaning against yours. “Because I love you.” You were sort of expecting that, but your heart still fluttered in your chest. “And not as a best friend, I’ve been in love with you since you gave me your teddy bear ‘cause I told you I didn’t have any.”
Tears brimmed in your eyes, but a smile made its way onto your face. “I love you.”
“I know.” Tears ran down your face. The one thing JJ had never been sure of was that people cared about him, but with you he didn’t have to think twice. He wiped your tears, letting out a soft laugh. “Don’t gotta cry about it.”
“Shut up or I’m going home,” you warned, he chucked again.
He leant down, lips brushing against yours before he pulled you into him and stole the first kiss. You gasped against his mouth, but within seconds you were melting into his embrace and the smell of marijuana and his cologne.
“Most people kiss after the date,” you murmured against his lips, his arms squeezing you tightly.
“Yeah, well, most people also don’t take twelve years to admit how they feel.”

Relativity Falls but at the end of the summer Stan learns the very important lesson of not being “selfish” and returns to New Jersey alone.
Through the years the excuses as to why Stan can’t come visit pile up. He broke his leg, caught the flu, has a summer job, broke a vase in the shop and is under house arrest etc etc.
Ford eventually gets fed up with all the excuses and stops calling home. Stan obviously doesn’t want to see him anymore now that he got other friends with his freak of a brother out of the picture.
3 years pass and the police are standing in front of the Shack.
Filbrick Pines is dead and Stan is nowhere to be found.
[or alternatively the police brought Stan to live with them now that Filbrick died, but Stan is almost unrecognizable from the boy who left three years ago. He's polite and keeps to himself, but there's a rage just beneath the surface that makes others question if there is more to Filbricks death than meets the eye.]
#gravity falls#stanley pines#relativity falls#tw child abuse#at least implied#did stan kill filbrick? yea. was self defense. not that that makes it better for stan#The thing is Mabel and Dipper projected themselves far too hard onto the kids.Obviously Ford is like Dipper and Stan like Mabel. #So they need to teach Stan to be less selfish and give Ford a safe space away from bullies or the pressure to succeed.#Stan just needs to learn to give Ford some space and let him have his own things and friends. #No Stan. Just because Ford made a friend doesn't mean you’re Fidds friend as well. Go and play with your own friends.#[Stan doesn’t have friends. He’s not like Mabel but in between all the failed crushes no one realised that. He only has Ford.#No one who actually gets to know Stan wants him to be around for long.] #But the problem is he’s really good at pretending he's fine. He always had to be fine after being hurt when he protected Ford from bullies#or when his mother was sad after a fight with Filbrick. And he was certainly never allowed to show weakness in front of his father.#He learned that lesson the hard way.#Sidenote: Ford not wanting to play with Stan anymore now that he's got someone smarter to talk to :’)#It sure proves all of Stan's fears to be right.#Throughout the summer no one sees that Stan is incredibly lonely and scared of losing Ford. And it's not helping his crippling self worth#issues when Mabel tries to talk to him about how she used to be quite selfish as well. And about what Stan can do to be better.#Trust them. Mabel and Dipper have been through the same thing. They’ll help so history won’t repeat itself.#Stan returns to parents in the middle of a divorce. Caryn leaves withShermie and Stan has to stay behind with Filbrick. It doesn’t go well.#Filbrick won't let Stan have his own phone or pc. All calls are supervised and Stan cant visit Ford when he can earn his keep instead. #Stans too scared to bother Ford and reach out to him because that would be selfish. And he can’t lose his brother more than he already has.#Dipper and Mabel really messed up that one. They wanted the twins to be less codependent and not do the same mistakes they did#and didn’t realise they only helped one kid :’).This isn't meant to be character bashing or even commentary on canon Mabel.#Just a little excuse for more stangst XD I also like to think they don't have the same story as the Stans in this AU.#They're different people with different parents and different dreams.#No way it would end the same way. They probably just didn't talk for a couple of years or something.#if anyone know a fic like this TELL ME surely someone wrote something like this. i need it.#time to sleep amd think about stan being lonely and hurt and calling ford to tell him that he cant visit again

Eddie Munson x reader // possible Steve x reader
:: angst + fluff jealous eddie <3
:: masterlist ♡︎ divider by @chachachannah

Chrissy had been hanging out at hellfire club for a few weeks now, you first introduced her and Nancy to them when Mike and Dustin joined the club. You weren’t apart of the club yourself, but you and Eddie had been friends for years, so he let you hang out there every so often.
You, Nancy, robin and Chrissy were closer than ever. Robin introduced you to Nancy, and you introduced them to Chrissy. You couldn’t go anywhere without eachother, you knew you could always rely on them. Which is why you felt super guilty about how you were feeling these past couple of weeks.
It was no secret you felt things for Eddie. How could you not? He was a confident rockstar, with loads of tattoos and long curly hair. Anyone with a brain would’ve fell for him
Ever since Chrissy and Eddie were first introduced, Eddie always stayed super close to her at hellfire, she would ask him questions about the game and he would guide her through it, you’d always see the two make small jokes between themselves. You loved chrissy, and you could never blame her for trying to make friends, but all you could think as you watched the two were how you wish that was you.
You and Eddie were good friends, but you knew you two would never be anything more than that, you always thought he’d prefer someone like him, or you thought that until Chrissy. They were complete opposites. She was the popular, nice cheerleader; and he was a rockstar who played guitar, and mostly wore black. But of course he liked Chrissy, everyone did! She was the best, how could they not?
After hellfire you and Chrissy walked to her car and talked, you asked her, “how did you find it?”
“I really liked it!! Everyone’s so welcoming especially Eddie, he helped me a lot” she replied
You nod slowly, curious you ask, “what did you guys talk about? I heard you laughing a lot”
“Oh well he talked about his hobbies he’s got, and asked me about some stories from cheerleading.”
“Oh, well it’s good you have another friend in the club, aside from yours truly” I nudge her and she laughs
I try to keep a positive attitude upon hearing about her new friendship with Eddie. But inside I can’t help but feeling all sorts.
*a few weeks pass*
The more hellfire met up, the closer Eddie and Chrissy got, it made you insane, you felt so guilty feeling this as they were both your friends, and Eddie didn’t belong to you.
Now you were walking towards Chrissy’s car, you had a shift at the video store with Steve, but you didn’t have a car yourself yet, so you had to rely on either Robin or Chrissy.
You waved at Chrissy as you approached her car and she waved back, unlocking the door for you.
You get in and hug her, “thank you so much for taking me, I still need to wait two months then I’ll have my license.”
“Don’t worry about it! The stores on the way to my house anyway”
You two start heading to the store and make conversation, until she mentions something about Eddie.
“Eddie also asked me if I wanted to go to the cinema with him”
Your heart dropped, they were going on a date? Maybe it wasn’t a ‘date’ but still.
“Oh that’s nice of him, what are you going to see?”
“We’re going to see pretty in pink! I know it doesn’t seem like his type of film, but he let me choose, and I’m hoping to expand his knowledge for movies”
“That’s good! But watch out for him falling asleep” You joke, hoping she doesn’t catch your sudden change in mood.
We get to the video store and you say bye to her, as you head to the door you think about her and Eddie, thinking of all possible outcomes of their ‘date’. Will he confess his feelings for her? Will she say yes? Will they announce their relationship at the next hellfire meeting?
Your mood has turned upside down, it’s obvious something’s up with you.
You get to the desk and meet Steve, you say hi to him and change into your uniform, as you come out the bathroom, he pipes up.
“Who shit in your coffee?”
“What?” You say
“You look depressed as hell”
“No- I’m okay, just got a bit on my mind”
“You can tell me, it’s a slow day today so anything’s better than standing here all day”
You hesitated telling him, but Steve had an idea about your feelings for Eddie anyway, so you thought why not?
“You know Eddie..” you turned around hoped he’d catch on
Steve raised his eyebrows and immediately grabbed a seat for you and him, knowing you were about to go on a rant
You chuckled before sitting down
“Well him and Chrissy have been getting close recently, and he asked her to go see pretty in pink at the movies”
Steve nodded, knowing your feelings for Eddie, that must’ve hurt
“Don’t get me wrong I know me and him aren’t a thing, it just feels shitty”
“Yeah I know. Listen why don’t you and me hang out tomorrow? I’ll pick you up after school and we can go to star court, we’ll go roller skating and eat some ice cream, whatever you want”
You lifted your head to look at Steve, you felt so grateful for him as a friend
“Really? Are you busy though?”
“Nah, I haven’t got much going on right now so I’m free pretty much anytime. Cmon, it’ll be fun”
Maybe hanging out with someone else would get your mind off of Eddie? You didn’t see why you and Steve couldn’t hang out
“Okay then, hellfires on tomorrow so if you pick me up at around 4, I’ll be waiting there, let me know when your at the front of the school”
“Oh do you want to finish hellfire first?” He asks
“No it’s okay. I could do with a break from seeing him and Chrissy all close”
He chuckles, “okay, 4 it is”
*the next day*
You spend the day waiting for the final bell to ring so you can finally hang out with Steve, you and Steve haven’t hung out in a while, so you’re looking forward to today.
You and robin head to her locker to get her things for the last lesson, maths.
“Hey me and Steve are going to star court to roller skate, wanna come with?” You ask her
“Sorry i would but me and vickie are going bowling tonight”
“Oh yeah, you and vickieeee” you nudge her
“Shut up, we’re just friends” she laughs
“Yeah right, you know she likes you back why don’t you just ask her out already?”
“We’re just taking things slow, besides I don’t see you asking out Eddie anytime soon”
You playfully slap her arm as she laughs
“Shut up! I doubt that’s gonna happen, see how close him and Chrissy are now?”
“They’re probably just friends, besides you and Eddie have known each other so much longer”
“I know, but it just sucks. I love Chrissy don’t get me wrong, but he hasn’t been like this with any girl he knows”
“Just wait a bit, maybe it’ll die down?”
“Maybe”
You both head to maths and the period goes by slower than ever, then finally the bell rings and you and robin pack up
You part ways with her, wishing her good luck with vickie, as you head on your way to hellfire. You didn’t wanna see Chrissy and Eddie being all ‘lovey dovey’, but you were only gonna be there for 10 minutes before Steve came, so you didn’t mind
You got to hellfire and said hello to everyone, before Eddie came over to you.
“Hey Princess, haven’t seen you for a while, what you been up to?”
Eddie called you princess since middle school, it was just a nickname you gained after knowing him, you never thought anything of it until you started to gain feelings for him, now it gets your heart spinning whenever he says it.
“Not much, just been busy with schoolwork, anything going on with you?” You notice your tones colder than usual, you just hope he didn’t notice, he did
“Just been practicing a new song with the band, we got a few gigs with a bigger venue than usual” eddies band corroded coffin had been gaining a bit of popularity in the town with their new songs, you were proud of him, you just weren’t in the mood to show in right now
“That’s good, well I’ll see you at the table” you give him a small smile and head to talk to Dustin
Eddie looks at you, eyebrows furrowed, he knows something’s up with you, he just wants to know what.
10 minutes later they start the game, you tell them you’ll skip out on this one as you have to go in a minute, Chrissy isn’t here today so Eddie doesn’t stay close to her, instead he looks at you, a lot.
You hoped he didn’t notice your change in mood, but maybe he did?
All of a sudden the phone rings, “hello?” You say
“Hey, it’s Steve, I’m outside”
You smile, “I’ll see you in a minute” you end the call and gather your things
“I’ve got to go now, let me know who wins!” You begin to leave before Eddie pipes up
“Wait where are you going?” Eddie looks confused. Why weren’t you staying?
“I’m going to star court with Steve.”
Eddies face drops slightly
“Oh. Okay.”
You feel bad, Eddie looks kinda annoyed you’re ditching hellfire
“What are you guys doing there?” He asks, curious
“Well we’re gonna rollerskate, and probably get something to eat, maybe other stuff”
Eddie doesn’t want to even think about what ‘other stuff’ means, but he just shakes it off
“Kay, see you later”, Eddie looks down and continues setting up the game, the whole rooms silent as everyone can see eddies pissed.
“Well… I’ll get going now.” You walk away before things can get any more awkward.
You say bye to everyone else and walk towards Steve’s car.
He gets out to greet you and you wave
“Hey you ready to go?”
“Yeah, thanks for taking me out today, it could really help me”
“Of course, Eddie say anything when you mentioned you were hanging out wit me?”
You thought about eddies face, you couldn’t tell if he was mad you were ditching D&D or mad at something else, but you didn’t like it
“No, but he looked really annoyed at something, I don’t know” you get into his car without saying anything else, you end up missing Steve’s smirk.
*at starcourt*
“You’re gonna have to hold me I can barely skate” you laugh as you put on your skates
“Hey I’m not perfect either, we can both fall” Steve replies
You two get onto the rink and you almost immediately slip before Steve catches you
“Woah! Slow down, Jesus”
“Don’t you dare think about leaving me” you say as you link onto his arm
“Don’t worry. I won’t”
You two attempt to skate, a few falls here and there, mostly from you of course, but you two end up having loads of fun
You two go to bring back your skates and change into your shoes
“Wanna go to scoops? I have a friend who always gives me a small discount” he asks
“Okay, but I’m out of money”
“Don’t worry it’s on me”
You two head over to scoops and order your ice creams, you walk around the mall as you eat and talk
“So why exactly haven’t you told Eddie your feelings for him yet?” Steve asks you
“Why would I, he’s clearly not into me”
“You say that but you two have been friends since middle school, you’ve known each other that long and you’re gonna tell me he doesn’t like you like that?”
“Just because we’re friends doesn’t mean he likes me”
“Well he’s always been soft to you, and Eddie isn’t usually like that, he’s still not keen on me”
“He’ll warm up to you eventually” you say
You two decide to start heading home when you see a Photo Booth near the entrance
“Steve! Please can we take photos” you beg him
He laughs, “yeah sure, cmon”
You two get in the photo booth and take photos, you both exit the booth to look at the photos
One picture is you and Steve making a funny face, one is Steve with his arm over your shoulder, the other with your head on his shoulder.
You both take a copy and walk towards the car park.
You both hop in and Steve drives you home, you get to your house and he walks you to your door.
You hug him and say, “Thank you so much for today. I had loads of fun”
“Of course, we should do it more often, we don’t hang out enough considering we work together”you both laugh, he says bye to you and drives away
You go inside your house and smile, you managed to not think about Eddie once while you were with Steve.
*monday*
At lunch break, you head to your locker to sort it out before your next lesson, inside is a wall of photos you’ve collected with friends, a few of robin, Nancy and Chrissy, a group photo of hellfire, a photo of Eddie and you in middle school, and a photo of you two from a few months ago.
You realise you don’t have any of Steve, but you remember you have the photo from the Photo Booth inn your jacket. You take the photo out and decide to put it on the lockers wall. You grab a bit of bluetac, but before you hang it on someone approaches you.
“Hey princess” Eddie says behind you, making you jump
“Shit. You scared me” you chuckle before facing him
“What you doing?” He asks
“Just putting up a photo” you turn back to the locker to stick the bluetac on the back of the photo
“Who is it of?” He asks
“Steve and me”
You don’t see, but eddies smile drops
“Oh, from when you guys hung out?” His tone now serious
“Yeah, we went to a Photo Booth in Starcourt” you show him the picture, he eyes go to the picture of you having your head on his shoulder, and Eddie sees red.
“You guys are kinda close there” he points out
You notice his tone, but you ignore it. “Yeah, I thought it’d make a nice picture”
You hang up the picture next to the one of you and Eddie, which weirdly make eddies blood boil even more.
“So what’d you guys even talk about, aside from his ‘gel filled hair’ and his ‘good looks’” he does air quotes with his fingers as he says the words, his tone filled with something you can’t figure out
“What are you talking about?” You ask, starting to get a little annoyed
“Well the guys so obnoxious, I can’t imagine you guys had any fun with him talking about himself for the whole day”
You turned fully towards Eddie now, how could he talk about Steve like that?
“What the hell is wrong with you? Steve’s great and we had a really nice time yesterday just so you know. What are you jealous or something?” You ask with annoyance
Yeah. I am. The words hang on the tip of his tongue, but never come out.
“No. I just don’t think you should be hanging out with Mr. Everybody loves me” you start to walk away but Eddie follows you
“Yeah well I don’t see what my friendship with Steve has anything to do with you. Do you want me to butt in about you and Chrissy?” You say quickly, not even realising what you said
Eddie stops. What are you talking about?
“What do you mean, ‘you and Chrissy’ ?” He’s confused now, what did she have to do with this?
“Don’t act oblivious, I’ve seen the way you guys joke and laugh with each other, it’s fine it’s not got anything to do with me, but don’t go poking at my business with Steve when I could easily poke at your business with Chrissy”
You felt kind of bad talking about Chrissy like she wasn’t one of your best friends in the entire world, you didn’t feel hate towards her at all, you didn’t even feel hate towards Eddie. It was just all confusing.
“What ‘business’ with Chrissy? Last time I checked there was nothing going on between me and her”
“Really? You’re telling me the biggest rock lover I’ve ever met, who hates romcoms, agreed to go watch pretty in pink with the schools most popular cheerleader, just because he’s friends with her? Nothing more?”
“Yes. She wanted to get to know me better, so I suggested we go see a movie, I don’t see any problem with that”
You’re both now quiet, eventually you decide to give up. Eddies love life isn’t your business at the end of the day, all you could do now was rot in your room trying to get rid of your feelings for him.
“Okay, Fine. Do what you want. But you know Steve’s really great. You are too usually, when you’re not acting like an asshole.” You roll your eyes as you head over to your next class.
Eddie watches you as you leave, regret filling him as he goes over the words he said to you in his mind. He didn’t mean to make you mad, but what do you see in this guy? He’s been with loads of women before, how can you be sure he has good intentions.
*end of the school day*
As the day comes to an end Eddie makes it a mission to apologise to you, he felt like an idiot and didn’t mean to lash out at you. At the end of the day, Steve treats you well, and anyone who does is alright in his book. But why him?
What did Steve have that he didn’t? He had only known you for two years, eddies known you for almost all his life. He should be the one whose shoulder you have your head on. He should be the one taking you out for ice cream. He should be the one making you laugh.
Eddie goes and waits outside the school doors, remembering exactly where you go to after school
he lights up a cigarette, after a few minutes he hears your voice and looks behind him
You’re talking to robin as you two walk past him, he gets rid of his cigarette and walks towards you
“Heyyy ladies how are we” he puts one arm each on your guys shoulders
“What do you want?” You ask
“What I can’t say hello to you absolute rockstars?”
Robin looks to you and rolls her eyes, to which you laugh
“I’m gonna head home so I’ll see you guys monday” she smiled and heads off
“So princess you got anything planned tonight?”
“Eddie what are you doing?” You stop to turn to him
“Alright alright, I just wanted to say sorry for earlier, i just want you to be careful, you know better than I do that Harringtons an ass”
“He’s not, you just won’t bother to get to know him, but I’m not pissed at that, I’m pissed that you’ve been blatantly ignoring me for weeks and all of a sudden the moment you find out I have another guy friend you act like you own me?”
“I know I know, I don’t know why I acted like that, I just don’t want us to be weird with each-other. But, I didn’t realise you felt ignored, I’m sorry, me and Chrissy are just friends, and I promise I won’t make you feel like that again”
You look at Eddie, knowing he’s being sincere. “Thank you, and I’m sorry I shouldn’t be annoyed about you and Chrissy, I’m glad you two are friends”
Eddie stares at you, not even realising he was, but before anything else can be said, your name is heard
“Y/n!! You coming?” You both turn to find Steve in his car, ignoring everyone staring at where the noise came from
You give him a nod, but when you turn to Eddie he’s confused
“Oh, are you two hanging out?”
You respond, “oh no, he’s just dropping me off home”
Eddie nods slowly, “oh okay, well uh I’ll see you Monday then?”
You smile at him “see you Monday”
He watches as you walk away and get into Steve’s car, he doesn’t miss the way Steve stares daggers at him
He knows he’s fucked up. He wants to tell you that he thinks nothing of Chrissy. That they’re just friends. He didn’t even see you in that way before Steve came into the picture. he tells himself, which anyone can see is a big lie, because he’s liked you for years
He shifts himself from the spot he’s stood in, already thinking of ways to gain the confidence to tell you how he feels

☎️—————☎️ *BEEP*
“Hey, Robbie…it’s…well, it’s Steve. Um, I-I’ve been trying to catch you for a while now…seems we’re missing each other a lot these days, huh? No big deal, I’ve been busy…you’ve been busy. I get it. So. Just wanted to call and say that I…I really hope you have a good day. Think that’s all I say nowadays, but I mean it. Wouldn’t say it if I didn’t mean it. And…and I hope that exams go over swimmingly. You’re, like, the smartest person I know—don’t tell Dustin I said that, if you…if you, um, still keep in touch with him—anyway. You’ve got this. You’re gonna do amazing, I know it. Soooo…yeah. Yeah, that’s all. If you need anything from me—or even Eddie—or um…if you just wanna talk to your favorite dingus, I’ll be here. There’s a gap in my schedule, new job on the horizon, hopefully. I’ve got the time for you, that’s all I’m saying. Yeah. I…I think that’s it? Love you, Robbie. Call me soon?”
——— Steve can admit—now that it’s been a couple of years—that when Robin said she was going to college out of state, his heart and stomach dropped out of him to the floor. It was a sort of sixth sense he’s adapted to. This aura, a curdling sick sense, that would sit dormant until the words left somebody’s mouth. “I’m leaving.” That’s all it took.
Not the kind of leaving when a hangout was over. Not the kind of leaving when the party came to a halt. Not the kind of leaving when the day’s been run through.
No, it was the kind of leaving that meant business trips and a stale home, playdates by himself on his knees in the wood chips, and friends going over yonder from grass fields and tornado sirens.
His brain was kind enough to flip an hourglass distantly for him. Once the sand dwindled from one side, it was over. And that had been approaching a while with Robin. He always knew that it would happen in the aftermath of one of those Upside Down free-for-alls. Just…he didn’t expect it so immediately. When Vecna crumpled into himself like a paper bag, wounds scarred over, and July came rolling on in.
And then 1987 passed.
Followed by 1988.
Now, in the dead winter of 1989, during the big college winter break season, before a whole new decade rolled in, he’s not so sure about this friendship anymore. That’s not to say that it wasn’t a good one. That he didn’t laugh and spill his secrets and have weird proximity sleepovers in his basement—despite having the guest rooms upstairs. No, he loved Robin with every coiled fiber of his soul. To the moon and back. All those cliche things.
She was the only girl that ever mattered in his life nowadays. He dreamed of her. Wept over her. Celebrated with her. They chatted for hours after she lost her virginity, whisper calling while her hook-up (now girlfriend) snored in the background. Robin was the first one to hear about when he was eventually kicked out of his parents’ place, when he hauled ass to a dingy shoebox apartment near a dilapidated McDonald’s that didn’t survive Vecna. When he stirred up forgotten feelings in his chest, he laid star-spread on his bathroom floor, spooning melted ice cream past his lips, sobbing about a boy. And, eventually, when he had Eddie problems? To Robin he went.
He knows that she’s busy. Always is. Between foreign language club meetings, study sessions in her college’s library, and having brunch with the girls…Robin’s not a free bird anymore. She belonged to the college life, to sorority parties where she frenched her girlfriend in a linen closet and managed handstands over kegs. Sometimes, he’d be lucky to get a call at those parties, Robin’s syrup slurred voice and her hideous hiccups like muffled laughter over the speaker. Other times, he just had to hope she made it back to her dorm okay.
It’s partially his fault, too. Been switching rapid between jobs. Family Video to RadioShack to Circle K to Walmart. Then, after that, he fell into his couch with a pink slip in his hand. Too many tardies. Too many late nights where he fought sleep as if it were Billy Hargrove’s racist mouth, but he couldn’t call Robin those nights and he couldn’t curl into Eddie the right way. So. He misses her calls, he wipes his answering machine because it gets too full, he’s between jobs on his sorry fucking couch, and Robin’s too busy nowadays to reach out.
But he keeps trying. Boy, does he keep trying.
——— *BEEP*
“Steve…Stevie…*sniff* hey, um, I’m sorry. Keep missing you, dingus. I miss you like crazy. It’s…this place isn’t right without you. But I spent kind of a lot of money to be here. And I think I’m gonna be in debt until the day I fucking die and—*sniff*—sorry, shit. My new roommate this semester…god, can you believe it’s been a whole semester since you called me? I’ll try and get better on that, swear. Anyway. My new roommate is a colossal bitch, just capital B Bitch. Had, um, th-that nightmare about Scoops? You know the one. Where you…yeah…um…she hates that I cry in my sleep. That I—*sob*—do that, sobbing. And then I try and call you on those nights, but either you aren’t home or you’re busy doing Eddie or something or…or she yells at me for calling you. But…but I swear, Steve, I miss you, too. And if I could, I’d come bother the fuck out of you. Finals went well. January’s being January over here. Snowing like crazy. Anyway. Just called because you did, to say I’m sorry, to just…I was hoping to hear your voice. Make sure that you’re not…I’ll call you, okay? If I don’t…if I don’t, I’m sorry. My schedule’s out of my control most days. Yeah…yeah, I’m sorry.”
——— “You’re gonna burn a hole into that phone if you keep staring at it, Steve.”
He blinks, eyes dry, and looks over to Eddie. Backlit by the bright snow through the windows, hanging up his wet coat by the door, stepping out of his shoes. His cheeks are rosy, blushed by the cold. The soft smile Eddie flashes him makes his chest cave, words caught like thorns in his throat, his already pink waterlines burn fresh.
Taking his silence for what it is, Eddie shuffles through to the living room where Steve is sitting hunched on the couch, and bends down to kiss the top of Steve’s head. His left hand comes up to brush through Steve’s tangled hair, stringy and unwashed. “How long have you been out here, baby?” Eddie asks softly. “Look like a leaf that could fall any moment.”
Steve takes a shaky breath. “Robin called.”
“Oh?” Eddie takes a seat in the armchair diagonal to the couch, mismatched blues they are. “After her voicemail the other day? Or were you listening to it back?”
“No, after. It’s just…we had nothing to talk about.”
“Nothing? You guys have all this time apart, how is there nothing to talk about?”
Shrugging, Steve mumbles, “Don’t know.” He runs a tired hand over his face, through his hair, messing with the knots at the end of it. Can’t even bring himself to look Eddie in the eyes. “Chatted about her school. Her new roommate. The foreign language club she’s got. And then we got to talking about me and…and I had nothing to say. I’m in between jobs, I clean all day because I can’t just lay around and do nothing, I can’t sleep at night…told her about how our neighbors argue. Then, well, then I just talked about you.”
Eddie hums. “It’s okay, you know,” he murmurs, “if you guys can’t find stuff to talk about? That’s okay.”
“Is it? I just”—he sighs—“she’s been my best friend for years. We’ve got nothing to talk about. Like we’re just acquaintances on the bus or something. It’s dumb. It’s so stupid.”
“Honey…” Eddie coos. “Steve, what’s stupid about that? There’s nothing dumb about having a stilted conversation every once in a while.”
“It’s not just once in a while, though, Eds!” he snaps. Affronted with himself, Steve curls tighter, shoulders up to his ears. “Every time, now. When I wanna talk to her, there’s nothing. My life is so…so dull and dumb and…I feel so small compared to her now. Which isn’t fair of me to say, because she’s out there following her dreams…And…” He trails off with another shrug.
Once the room goes completely quiet, Steve pushes himself back, deep into the backrest of the couch. He puts his face in his left hand, pointed away from Eddie, and looks off. Nowhere in particular. No more words to dredge up.
“Steve?”
“I think I’m gonna write a letter. Maybe…maybe the phone’s too easy to forget.”
——— Robbie,
New thing. Letters. It’ll be easier, yeah? Just put what I wanna say out to you.
So. No new calls coming for me about my applications. Think a bunch of firings on my resume has employers turning away. Can’t even use my mom as a reference anymore, kinda lost on that end, I guess. Reached out to Hopper, though. Maybe getting a cop’s reference will look good? They’ll see me come in with Jim Hopper’s signature and number and they’ll think, “That kid must be a goody two shoes,” or something like that, and they’ll want to hire me. You think it’ll work? You know better than I do.
Watched The Apartment finally. It’s a good movie. You know, Fran kinda looks like Vickie. I found you out, Robs. You’ve got a big secret lesbian thing for redheads. Who would’ve thought? Does your current girlfriend look like Fran? I’ve been dying to meet her. I feel bad, I can’t even remember her name right now. I hope she treats you good.
Eddie treats me good. Made spaghetti last night for me, meatballs and everything. He burnt the hell out of the corn I bought, though. Ended up with just spaghetti, some beer, and a couple pieces of garlic bread. I’ll make a chef out of him one day. Though, gotta admit, I feel bad somedays. He goes out and works all day, brings home most of the money, and then also cooks sometimes. I try and keep up with him. Do some chores or something. You know, so I don’t look like a bad partner.
Anyway. There isn’t much else to say, really. Just hope you get this. Maybe you’ll take the time to answer?
Your cursive is the only cursive I can read, so. If you do write back, make it pretty for me? I like the way your letters curl.
—Steve
——— There’s been no new mail in weeks. Other than the bills and Eddie’s paychecks. He got one call from the manager of some local, newly built steak restaurant. Got the job as a new waiter, so that’ll be thrilling for him. More customer service.
He gathers the mail that comes in their little mailbox, runs back up the stairs to their apartment, and snuggles next to Eddie on the couch. An arm thrown over his shoulders. Hands passing through envelopes like he can manifest a returning letter.
“Damnit,” he eventually mutters, tossing the envelopes onto the coffee table. Steve leans back, nestled deeper into Eddie’s side, and pouts. “There’s nothing, Eds. What the hell.”
“Give her some time,” Eddie gently says—ever the reasonable one, oddly—“she’s probably still settling into her new semester. Almost a college graduate, babe, not a lot of time on her hands.”
“She could call, you know. Now she’s gonna respond and I’m gonna be too busy with work. This is bullshit.”
Eddie sighs next to him. Heavy and tired. “You’ll find the time, Steve. You always do.”
——— *BEEP*
“I got your letter, Stevie. Listen, I’ve gotta make this call quick, but I just need you to listen. I can’t write back, I’m sorry. My mind’s already scrambled with a million essays and other assignments right now, so letters aren’t really a priority for me. But I’ll call, okay? I missed you this time, but we’ll get it right eventually. I know it. Uhh…yeah. Oh! Yes, my current girlfriend, Rita, she definitely looks like Fran. You got me, dingus, I’ve got a thing for redheads. Anyway. Shoot. Sorry, I gotta go. Rita’s taking me to this new queer place in town. Gonna get drinks! It’ll be awesome. Okay, Stevie, bye. I love you, bye.”
*BEEP*
“Steve…Steeeeveee…I am very drunk right now. And sweaty. So much dancing. *hiccup* Just wanna tell you that you’re a good friend, m’kay? Rita…ooo, Rita ordered nachos. This payphone is crazy sticky. Bye, dingus!”
——— *BEEP*
“I hope you got home safe. Thanks for not answering. [silence] I can’t have you calling in the middle of the night anymore, though. Okay? I love you to pieces, Robs, but seriously. Eds and I were sleeping, we have work today. [disgruntled silence] And if you’ve got homework or whatever, then you should probably stay back at your dorm and do it, right? Instead of getting shitfaced at the bar? I—[*a large sigh*]—Eddie’s trying to tell me I shouldn’t be mad at you. That I should just give you time to reach back. But.
"This is just getting…it’s bullshit, okay? I call you and you don’t answer. You call me, I try to get back within the next day. And that’s what I did the last time you called me. And then…what? I start writing you letters, but you’re too piled up with homework to respond? Oh, but you’re not too busy to get shitfaced on a…Wednesday? A Wednesday, Robin. Wednesday? I know you’ve got class today, should you really be out…Never mind. I’m not your parents. I’m not. I’m just your good friend, Steve. Your good friend from back home who you don’t visit when you’re on break because you don’t have enough time. [silence] Promise me you’ll take some Advil and have a few glasses of water? I’d bring you a bagel or something, but…just take care of yourself, Robin. Please just take care of yourself. I have to go to work. Maybe I’ll get some big tips from boyfriends on late Valentine’s Day dates. Send you flowers or some shit. I love you, Robin. Even when you piss me the fuck off, I love you…Bye, Robs.”
——— “You don’t answer either, Steve.”
“Well good evening to you, too, Rob”—
“Don’t be a bitch. Just because I found the time to go out with my girlfriend doesn’t mean I’m fucking ignoring you like you’re…you’re my spoiled little dog.”
Steve tosses a glance over his shoulder, standing with his back to the front door just as Eddie comes through it. He shields himself, shadowing over the phone with his head lowered. “Robbie, can I call you back, please? I’m about to have dinner with”—
“Oh, so you can have dinner with Eddie? But I can’t have drinks with Rita? Fuck off, Steve. You know that’s a bunch of horseshit, right? I’m supposed to make time for you, but you can’t make time for me when I call”—
“Oh, when you finally call me back—what is it—three days later? Sorry, Robin. Guess I have some double standards that I didn’t know about! Guilty as charged!”
Over the line, he can hear her take a steady, deep breath. He imagines it, her face red with anger, and feels a sick lick of satisfaction deep in his gut. “Don’t be such a little fucking brat, Steve.”
He rolls his eyes so hard it hurts. “Like insulting me is gonna keep me on the phone with you. I’ve got chicken that’s thawed in the fridge right now and it needs to be made tonight. So if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna make dinner for my boyfriend and I”—
Suddenly, there’s a hand on his shoulder. He jerks in surprise, turning swiftly with the phone in his tight grip. Eddie’s behind him, furrowed eyebrows and eyes narrowed in concern. Steve throws up his free hand as if to signal, ‘What.’ Instead of a huff or an eye roll, Eddie’s soft with him. Petting his hand down his back. “I’ll make dinner,” Eddie whispers, “I want you to figure this out with Robin.”
Steve muffles the phone with his empty hand, pulling it away from his mouth. “She’s being an asshole, Eds. I don’t want to”—
“Baby, I don’t want you guys to lose each other. You two matter to one another. Figure it out…even if you have to argue, figure it out.”
With a pat to his back, Eddie steps away. Steve sighs, relenting—knowing Eddie’s reasonable and right, damnit—and brings the phone back up to his ear. “You still there, Robin?”
“Yup.”
“Listen…Robs…I-I don’t know what to say to make this better, okay? I’m gonna be honest. I don’t know what to do.” He shifts awkwardly on his feet. Eventually, though, within a matter of seconds, he decides to plop down onto the closest couch cushion. Hunched over his knees, pinching between his eyebrows. “I miss your calls, I know that. And I’m sorry, okay? Shit, I’m…I’m really fucking sorry”—his voice wavers, eyes burning despite trying to pinch the waterworks closed—“there’s no excuse. I’m not in college. I’m not, like, busy with my family or anything. I just. I’m just Steve. With his stupid minimum wage job. And I’m really fucking boring now, okay? I get busy with my shifts and I forget to answer. I try to get caught up in Eddie, trying to—shit, you can’t let him know this, okay? I’m gonna drop my voice”—and he does just that—“I get caught up trying to distract myself from…from myself. That doesn’t make sense, I know it doesn’t. And it’s not an excuse. Sometimes, Rob, sometimes”—and here come the blubbering tears…—“I just stand at the phone and wait for you to call me. Then you don’t. All I do is…all I do is work and sleep and wait.
“I miss you so fucking much, Robin. You…it’s so fucking pathetic…you’re my only, like, adult friend other than Eddie. But he’s in his own category, y’know? So. It’s just. Shit. I don’t know what I’m trying to say, Robs. I just miss you. I wait and I miss you.”
For a moment, there’s a steady stream of stilted silence. Then, quiet, Robin breaks with, “I miss you, too. But…Steve, I can’t be your only friend. And…and you’re not my only friend anymore. I know I’ve been shitty with answering the phone, responding to your letters. Things are busy. And I don’t have the time. And when I find time for myself, I’m sorry, but I don’t think of you first anymore. You have to…you have to understand that, Steve.
“Believe me, I try to reach out to you. When I have the time, when I…when I remember, I call you. You aren’t the first person that comes to mind anymore, okay? I have to be honest with you, too. I’m sorry. I can’t say that enough and I also think I’ve said it too much.
“But I’m about to graduate. Rita and I…we’re moving in together once I get my diploma”—
“Will you send me your new address? If you remember?” God, he can’t believe he just said that. He can’t believe he’s been…forgotten. “Maybe I can send you some congratulatory flowers or something?”
She takes a deep breath. Noticeably settling into something.
He sorta hates that he can picture her, shimmying into her spot. Getting comfy. Can imagine her in her dinky pajamas, the same ones she’s had since freshman year of high school. Thinks of her with her makeup freshly washed off, hair neatly brushed, relaxing in her bed. Wonders if she’s reading anything.
But he won’t ask. It doesn’t feel like that kind of conversation.
“I’ll give it to you before I graduate, okay? We’re gonna settle on an apartment before I’m done here. Um…yeah. Yeah…
“I’m sorry for being an asshole, you didn’t deserve that.”
“I’m sorry, too. You didn’t deserve it either. Just, y’know me, I get in my head.”
“Yeah,” she sighs. And it hurts, only a little—like a minor burn from the edge of a frying pan—that she didn’t reassure him. “I know I called, but I’ve gotta go. I have a test in the morning. And I’m ready for bed, so…yeah.”
“Okay…yeah…that’s—I’ve gotta help Eddie with dinner so”—
“What are we gonna do?”
“Hm?”
“…What are we gonna do? I don’t know when I’ll be able to call again. And I know you’re getting busier. I won’t have a break until, maybe, June? I don’t wanna leave you like this…but I can’t promise anything this time and”—
“I don’t know,” Steve softly interrupts. “We’ll figure it out, though, okay?”
There’s a long lull of silence. Longer than any he’s experienced with Robin. Softly, “Okay,” she says. Though, it doesn’t quite reach his ears the right way. It’s not a hopeful sound. It’s…tired and broken and weepy.
He knows that, after this, they won’t hear from each other anymore.
It’s a claw to the chest. A knife in the gut.
If he removes it, he’ll die. If he lets it linger, he’ll die. The way the word breaks in his head, her soft okay in his ear, he’d rather the knife remain. The pain, the blood, the simmering ache.
“Robin?”
“Yeah?”
“I love you.”
A murmur, “I love you, too.”
The phone crackles between them. Those are the last words he hears before the line goes dead. “Bye,” he whispers into the plastic, to nobody on the other side. And with the receiver gripped tight in both hands, nestled between his legs, he lets the burn behind his eyes engulf.
Tears sluggishly worm down his cheeks. Hot and burning.
“Steve?” Eddie softly calls to him. “You okay?”
When he looks in the direction of his name, Eddie is sitting next to him. A hand between his shoulder blades, the other reaching for the phone. Without much thought, Steve is turning into Eddie’s chest, dropping his grip on the receiver.
In one sweeping motion, Eddie brings him in, burying him closer. “I gotcha, baby,” he whispers into Steve’s hair, “I’ve gotcha.”
“I lost her,” he sobs, “lost my best friend.”
With Robin’s words floating through his head, the soft crackle of her raspy voice, that image of her comfy in bed, he breaks. Coughing, gagging, and crying, he breaks against Eddie’s neck.
——— November, 1985
“Steve? Do you think we’re best friends in every universe?”
“Hm…if we aren’t, I’m glad we’re best friends in this one.”
They’re holding hands, sprawled on his mattress, both sweat drenched from Scoops nightmares.
“Me too,” Robin whispers, “I love being your friend.”
“I love being yours,” he matches, “we’ve got each other for life now. No way to get rid of me.”
“Like we’re ever going to be apart.”
“Yeah,” Steve laughs. “No way is that happening. We’re stuck on each other like glue.”

Couple’s Costume
warning: mdni, suggestive, featuring the audacity of men
As Tendou looked around the room, a smug smirk spread across his face. No one came even close to your couple’s costume. How could they, really? The brilliance of dressing as a cup of coffee with you by his side as a donut was unmatched. He even spray-dyed his hair white to resemble a dollop of cream. In his head, he was already wording a text to Semi littered with one burn after the other about the importance of fashion sense that would accompany a selfie of you two. He was about to get his phone from your purse when he turned around to see you cornered by some guy dressed as a police officer. Judging by your expression, you tried to find a way to make any oncoming bodily harm look like an accident, so your boyfriend pushed his way over to you.
“I wonder if you taste as sweet as you look.”, he heard the cop say sleazily and the stranger leaned in a bit further to meet your ice-cold gaze, “If you let me take a bite I bet I’ll make you squirt down my shirt, too.”
Tendou cocked his brow and tapped the guy’s shoulder. “Oi, Nimrod McGee, that’s my girlfriend, so skedaddle.”
The guy sized him up while Tendou waited impatiently for him to put the pieces together. When the realization didn’t come fast enough, the tall mocha latte resorted to his favorite strategy, “Unless you wanna turn this into a threesome.”
Eyes widened in shock, the cop finally shuffled away, and your boyfriend pretended to dust off his hands.
“Works every time. - And you! I look away for one second - tsk tsk tsk. You okay, babybel?”
“Don’t leave me alone again, please.”
You tugged at the brim of his cup costume to pull him down for a quick kiss.
After a determined nod and a playful salute, he linked your arm with his and led you to the dance floor. Out of the corner of his eye, he spied the creepy guy still checking you out. Unfortunately, he had to admit that he felt a pang of remorse over the fact that he didn’t think of dressing up this way. The amazing pick-up lines would have written themselves. While he flung his long arms around to whatever pop song was blaring over the stereo, he began to workshop some of his own. "If I... if I dunk you... you're ... gonna get wet. - wait. No. Lemme get back to you."
At first you only frowned with entertained pity, but after 30 more minutes of watching him struggle, you had enough and, sighing in exasperation, grabbed his hand, and pulled him towards an empty bathroom, locking the door behind you. „Sup, shnookie?“, he asked.
You leaned against the sink and with one wave of your hand gestured down your costume.
„Thought you might like to give me a good cream filling?”
His eyes widened and he took a step forward, squishing your round cheeks with his hands. “I. Love you.”, he said slowly and in a tone that suggested urgency.
A smirk twitched on his lips as he watched with bated breath how you seductively opened the zipper on the side of the donut.
a/n: thank you to the anon for the request! I hope you enjoyed it! ✨

63 + carcar?
63. Everybody Knows/Mistaken for Couple
Carlos has no idea who gave Lando the insane idea to move in the middle of February, but whoever it was it must’ve been someone who really hates people.
It’s so cold that Carlos swears he can’t feel the tip of his own fingers, even through his true leather, double layered, wool padded gloves that he spent at least 50 quids on and are not doing their job properly.
Carlos huffs in frustration and shivers just a tiny little bit under his coat, earning a pointed glare from Oscar beside him. “Could you stop it?”
Leave it to Oscar to be an asshole even in such a deadly situation like standing in the middle of London’s street in February.
“Could you be more sensitive?” Carlos bites back, “I am very cold.”
“I am very cold but I am not making such a fuss.” Oscar snaps. Truthfully, his hands are stuffed in his pockets just like Carlos’, but he is pretty sure they were not covered in gloves.
Oscar has a really white and delicate skin, so they’re probably already all red and covered in frostbites. Carlos does feel a little bad for him, but that doesn’t mean he’ll admit it to Oscar any time soon.
He rolls his eyes, instead, kicking a pebble in the middle of the sidewalk before it gets trapped in the soles of his boots. “I knew that going with Alex would’ve been more fun.” He mumbles, and he knows that he sounds a bit petulant, even childish, but-
Yeah, who cares, it’s Oscar anyway.
“Well, Alex isn’t here and someone had to buy this gift.” Oscar mutters something else under his breath, something that sounds very close to a dickhead, but Carlos is mature enough to pretend he didn’t hear that.
They walk a little bit more next to each other, scanning silently the windowed walls and the trinkets’ displays.
It is true that him and Oscar were the only two with a free Sunday morning to buy the housewarming gifts, but it is also true that they may be the worst ones to be assigned such a errand like buying a housewarming gift.
If it is a housewarming gift then shouldn’t they just buy a heater and be done with it?
Ah, Carlos sometimes wishes someone could laugh at the amazingly funny jokes that he thinks inside his head. He bets Oscar would appreciate them.
“Maybe a plant?” Oscar suggests, thumbing at the arrays of green displayed on their left.
Carlos snorts, “Lando is going to kill them in two days.”
“Yeah, I guess you’re right.”
Carlos looks around, furrowing his eyebrows, eyes scanning the electronics shop not too far away, the jewellery one, something that looks way too much like a sexy shop of some sorts, and then-
“Uh, what about that umbrella stand. It looks good.”
Oscar follows his gaze until his eyes fall on the slick black, clearly modernly design object, too. Surprisingly, he immediately hums in approval.
“And then we put a gag gift next to it?”
“Of course.”
"Should we take the black or the white one?"
Carlos pursues his lips, trying to remember the pictures Lando sent on their group chat, of an apartment that could've easily been straight out bought out of an IKEA magazine.
He shrugs, "White, I guess. It's a white kitchen."
"Yeah, but he's not going to put an umbrella stand in the kitchen is he?" Oscar comments dryly. "I think black it's better for the porch outside"
"Why did you ask me for my opinion if you completely ignore it?" Carlos says, feeling just a tad bit offended.
Thankfully, the welcomed warmth of the shop is able to mitigate most of it, and Carlos feels like nothing can bring down his good mood when he can finally feel his fingers come back to life, joints cracking like sandpaper as he curls them.
It's just his luck that the stark difference in temperature from the outside makes a pink hue appear on Oscar's freckled cheeks, making him look very very cute - well, admittedly, he would always be cute if he weren't such a pain in the ass.
"Because I wanted to pretend I value your opinion." Oscar says, rolling his eyes. "If it wasn't clear, I do not."
"Well, if you would only listen to me, you would realise that the walls of the porch are made with white stones, which means that the white stand is clearly the perfect choice." Carlos snaps back, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Mate, it's not a hospital, it's a house, it should have some contrast no?" Oscar says, mirroring his position.
They proceed with a glaring contest mixed with biting, pointed comments about which choice is better between the two, which furtherly proves why they shouldn't have been the only two going for this 'mission' that could as well become a battle with how hard they're fighting each other.
It only, finally, ends when there is a pair of delicate hands perching on their respective shoulders, and when Carlos lowers his gaze from holding Oscar's flaring one, it's to meet the gentle eyes of the elderly woman he is pretty sure was standing behind the counter just a minute ago.
"You two lovely boys, there is no need for such a love quarrell over an umbrella stand." She says gently, pinching Oscar's cheek when he goes to open his mouth in protest, effectively shutting him up.
Carlos, to his credit, is suddenly too stuck on the love quarrell part that seems to be resonating in his head like a badly played drum roll. The only thing that assures him he wasn't the only one to hear that, it's the way Oscar's cheeks have suddenly become even more pink.
"Come on, tell me what's the problem. Let's solve it." The woman says, patting Carlos' shoulder with a bit more fervor than she used to pinch Oscar's cheek. "You're such a good looking couple, don't fight for stupid things, mh?"
Neither of them corrects her.
Oscar, through a very awfully embarrassed stutter, explains the indecision. The woman solves it in under thirty seconds by suggesting they just take the silver one she has in the back of the store, finally settling the argument without even letting them talk one single second more.
"It was this bad with my husband, too, when we first moved in together." She says, jostling the umbrella stand over her counter with much more strength than what her small frame would let on. "But you look like a very beautiful couple, and there is always love even while fighting. I am sure you will last as long as me and my husband did." she adds raising her hand to show the still glinting golden band on her ring finger.
Oscar is stuck as rigid as a tree next to him, so Carlos decides that it must be his job to take the gift and thank the woman generously, accepting the compliments she keeps sending their way as he drags Oscar out of the shop from the elbow.
"Uh, I-" Oscar mutters, not very talkative of him, as soon as they're away from the front window.
"Oscar," Carlos says, slowly, watching as Oscar blinks at him with wide eyes and a pair of red cheeks, even more flushed than before. Something tells Carlos it's not about the temperature, maybe because he personally doesn't feel as cold as before - maybe it's the sudden warmth in his chest. "Are your hands still cold?"
Oscar swallows, looking down at the purplish colour on his knuckles, "Uh, a bit." he admits.
"Okay," Carlos says and before he can think about it more than two seconds, he takes Oscar's hand in his, interlacing their fingers.
Oscar stares at him with wide eyes and a half agape mouth but, surprisingly, he doesn't protest. Rather, his confusion only lasts a moment longer before he is squeezing Carlos' hand back, smiling in what Carlos could even define as shyness.
"Do you want to have lunch before we head to Lando's?" Carlos suggests, completely ignoring the way his heart seems to be doing sudden sommersaults in his ribcage.
Oscar's smile, if possible, becomes even brighter. "Yeah, let's do that."

He’s Taken
Choi San X fem!reader

Word count: 1,957
Warnings: dom fiancée San, sub reader, jealousy, daddy kink, oral (m receiving), swallowing, rough, no protection (no), begging, fingering, nicknames (princess, love, baby), san gets called oppa (only once), I might have missed some
Summary: You join your loving fiancée on his schedule, yet you can't help but feel jealous and remind him who he proposed to.
Notes: Yuqi from (G)-idle is mentioned. I don't know much about (G)-idle so keep that in mind.
Taglist <3: @hongjoongtime117 @lee-sang1625 @wontini
You wake up in San’s arms as the light from the bedroom window hits your face. You cuddle up closer to him as he stirs a little. “Good morning princess, how’d my beautiful fiancée sleep?” You blush at the nickname “good morning handsome! I slept pretty good, what you got planned for today?” He pulls you on top of him as he keeps you close to his chest and kisses your forehead “we have a couple interviews then we’re free for the day” he thinks for a moment “hey, why don’t you join us”
You looked into his eyes, surprised “I don’t know love, would that be ok? You won’t get in trouble will you” he kisses your cheek “nah everything will be fine” you were still unsure but agreed “ok then. I’ll go” he smiles and pulls you in closer, smothering your face with kisses. “Ok baby let’s go get ready”
You both get out of bed and get ready for the day. San finished before you and waits for you in the living room. You finish getting ready, wearing his hoodie and your favorite leggings. You meet him in the living room and you both head out.
You get to the studio where the first interview was taking place. You were nervous being around lots of people you didn’t know. San stayed by your side the whole time until he had to go his spot for the interview. You watch as your fiancée and the other members do their interview, but something seems to catch your attention. The interviewer seems to be staring and smiling a little too much at him. You tried to not pay it any mind but you couldn’t help but pay attention to her. What ended up making you really mad was when she laughed at his joke and put her hand on his arm then compliments his muscles. You had seen enough and just walked away to the snack area, replaying that moment in your head. You don’t usually get jealous but there was something about her that just made you upset.
When the interview was over, San walked over to you. “There you are baby, I was looking for yo-” “Oh San oppa, I wanted to ask you something.” He turns towards the girl that interviewed them. “Uh ok?” She took a deep breath, “would you be free for dinner tomorrow at all?” At that point, you were pissed. You moved from behind San and looked the girl in the eyes with anger “Sorry he’s taken, so I’d leave if I were you” you then grab his face and pull him into a kiss, making sure the engagement ring is in view.
The girl was so shocked and just stared in disbelief. “Yeah what she said” San grabs your hand and you walk away meeting the rest of the group. As you walk off you turn around towards the girl and stick your tongue out at her, flashing the ring at her. She marches off in the opposite direction. San noticed how tense you were and wraps his arms around you. “You ok princess?” You look to the ground “I’m ok” he could tell you weren’t and gave you reassuring kisses on your cheek “Don’t worry baby, I’m all yours” he whispers in your ear. You blush slightly. You all head to the next interview.
When you get there, you couldn’t help but notice all the girls outside the building. Screaming and freaking out at how good looking they all were. But one group of girls were specifically talking about San. How handsome he is, how they would want to be surrounded by his shoulders, how they would kill to be his girlfriend.
You start to get jealous again and grab San’s hand, looking to the ground. He looks over at you as you grabbed his hand. He noticed you were tense again and pulls your hand to his lips and gives it a quick kiss. You look up at him and smiled. But that feeling of jealousy still there.
As you all walked into the building, you come across (G)-idle who had just finished an interview themselves. Yuqi instantly comes over to San with the biggest grin. “OMG hey Sannie. Are you guys here for an interview too?” San looks up towards the voice “Oh hey Yuqi, yeah we have an interview” “That’s so cool. Do you have anything else to do after? We should totally catch up.” You feel a fire in your chest and squeeze San’s hand. Does she not see you standing right there holding his hand? “That sounds nice but I’m actually busy after” He looks down at you and gives a small smile. “Awww that sucks, I would’ve loved to hangout with you but maybe some other day?” She bats her eyes with a slight pout.
You scowl at her and think “Is she really trying to act all cute to get San to say yes to her?” You squeeze his hand harder, clinging to his bicep in a possessive way. “Sorry Yuqi, I’ll see what I can do.” She pouts then looks down at you, the shine of the engagement ring catches her attention. Her smile drops and she looks back up at San. “Fine, I’ll see you around I guess” She walks over to her other member not hesitating to side eye you as she passes. You relax a little but still can’t help but stay tense.
They finally got to the area where the interview took place and got started. Once it was over they packed everything up and started heading back to the apartments.
When you were back in his dorm, you sit on the couch and San sits next to you. He turns the TV on to a rerun of you guy’s favorite drama. But, you were lost in thought of all the girls drooling over San, especially that Yuqi. “Princess, you sure you’re ok? Come on, talk to me” You were brought out of your thoughts when he makes you look at him. Instead of answering you just get up and straddle his lap.
You start kissing and sucking his neck leaving marks on him, claiming what’s yours. San groans and puts his hands on your waist. “What you doing baby?” You pull away “Mine” you pull his shirt off and start kissing down his body until you were on your knees in front of him. He smirks down at you. You start pulling his pants and palm at his bulge through his boxers. You lick his tip through the fabric of the boxers. He groans at the warm wetness. You smirk to yourself and take it into your mouth, moaning around him. He grip a fist full of your hair in his hand pulling your eyes to meet his, “Stop teasing me princess, suck that fucking dick. I’m yours right? Show me what that pretty mouth of yours can do.”
He lets go of your hair and you pull his boxer down enough for his member to come out and slap against his lower stomach. You lick the tip again and he growls “If you keep teasing the way you do your gonna be begging me to let you cum.” You start sucking as he groans finally getting the warmth of your mouth around him. “That’s a good girl” you moan at the praise and begin to suck harder and faster. “Ah~ Fuck baby your mouth feels so fucking good, keep going” He grips your hair as you keep going. He starts getting close “ah yes princess~ I’m almost there, you better swallow all my cum like the good girl you are” you take him deeper into your throat. He pushes you down by your hair, hitting his pelvic bone. He releases down your throat, you swallow everything “show me” you look into his eyes and open your mouth, showing you swallowed everything. “That’s my girl, now come here”
You get back on his lap and start kissing him. You start grinding against him. San’s hands drag along your body. Going under the hoodie to caress your breasts. He pulls it over your head to fully admire you. He plays with your nipples through the fabric of your bra. You whine at the motion and start to grind a little faster. “Daddy…”
He picks you up and lays you on the couch hovering over you “you want me princess? Beg for it” you whine “please daddy I need you” “Aww, you can do better than that” You whine louder “please daddy I want you so bad. I want you inside me. Show me why you’re mine.” “Now how could I say no to that” he starts takes off your leggings and underwear in one go, while mouthing at you nipple. He takes two fingers and glides them over your entrance. You moan loudly at the feeling “please daddy just fuck me already, I wanna feel you please” he moves close to your ear “Patience princess”
He slowly inserts his fingers into your dripping core. You try to grind your hips against them but he holds down your waist. “What did I say princess? You’re not being a very good girl right now.” You whine and San connects his lips to yours while also pushing his fingers in all the way. San swallows your moans as he continues to kiss you.
He keeps a steady pace thrusting them in and out, occasionally using his thumb to rub your clit. You mewl at the sensation. “You’re so wet for me, do you want me that bad” You whimper wanting him to fuck you. “Please daddy I want to feel you in me” tears weld up in your eyes.
“Are you sure love? I haven’t fully stretched you out yet” You moan at the thought of him stretching you out on his cock “I don’t care! Give it to me!” he smirks and chuckles. He pulls his fingers out and lines himself up with your entrance. He slowly pushes in with a groan “So tight” Once he was fully inside, he slowly starts thrusting and gradually speeds up. You moan and whimper at the pleasure. Eventually he’s thrusting so hard you could hear the impact echo throughout the room. You screamed his name. “Daddy fuck”
San grips your chin and makes you look at him. “I love you and only you princess, no one will ever take me away from you. You belong to me and only me” he says bringing you into a kiss as his thrust pick up even more. Your screams are swallowed through all the pleasure. When you pull away from the kiss you moan out as your release builds up rapidly “Ah I love you too Sannie I’m so close please-“ “yes cum for me ” you release and he soon releases after you. You both catch your breath giving each other soft kisses. San pulls out of you and goes to the bathroom to get rags.
He comes back, cleans you off and puts his hoodie and your underwear back on you. He puts his clothes back on as well. You cuddle up on the couch and San turns on your favorite movie. He kisses the tip of your nose and cuddles you close to him. “I love you princess” “I love you too Sannie. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.” He gives you his signature dimpled smile and brings you into a passionate kiss. You tease him a little bit and lick at his bottom lip. He groans and pulls away smirking
“I’d relax if I were you princess, unless you’re trying to go round 2”

“What happens if they don’t like me?” I turn to Mason as he has his eyes on the road. I let myself admire him for a couple of seconds longer then I should. He is just perfect in everyway. He drifts his eyes from the road and meets mine “babe they are going to love you, what isn’t there to love about you?” he gives me a reassuring smile. I can still feel the anxiety overwhelming me. Mason and I have been dating for 6 months, its completely new and being with Mason has turned my whole life upside down. It was a life that I never knew. I just work my boring admin 9-5pm job and had my side hustle as a hair dresser. Me and Mason met in a café opposite my office, he had a hoodie on with his hood up and was one in front of me. He went to pay for his coffee but realised he left his wallet in the car, I have had a bad morning and not in the mood to wait so I just agreed I would pay for it so I could get the line moving. Turned out he was having a meeting using one of the office room downstairs so we got chatting in the hallway, one thing lead to another and here we are. I wasn’t ready to meet Mason’s family yet, he had met mine and of course they loved him but meeting his was a whole other level. It is his sister Jaz’s birthday next week so Mason insisted I attend with him to his parents to have dinner to celebrate. I have never been more nervous.
We pulled up outside their house and I can feel my heart beating in my chest I just want to be sick. Mason can sense my nerves as he rubs his hand into mine as we stand outside trying to calm my nerves. Mason’s mum Debbie opens the door and quickly embracing Mason in a hug “Oh I didn’t realise you were bringing company. Whose this?” Mason moves out the way to let me inside, Mason rolls his eyes. “I did tell you I will be bringing y/n. I told you about her months ago. But Mum meet y/n. Y/N meet my mum Debbie” he gestures. Debbie remains still and just gives me a smile. “Oh yeah I remember now. Nice to meet you Y/N” it sounded like she didn’t really mean it but I am just putting it down to nerves.
Mason leads me into the living room where Jaz, Mila, Summer, Lewis and his dad Tony are all sitting. They all quickly get up and hug Mason and look awkwardly at me. Mason gestures for me to sit down as all of them sit down and introduces them all to me. Mila and Summer are climbing all over Mason “uncle Masey who is this?” as they point at me. Mason gives them a big grin and says “this is my new girlfriend y/n” it gives me butterflies when he calls me that, we have only just started calling eachother boyfriend/girlfriend. It sounds childish but I love when he calls me his girlfriend. “Hey Y/N!” both Mila and Summer say in unity and wave.
I allow all of them to chat and I am just sat there smiling and engaging in conversation the best I can, I feel invisible though. It feels like I am not even there. Debbie calls to say lunch is ready and we all go sit and begin to eat. I feel extremely uncomfortable as I am picking up the vibe in the room, Mason places his hand on my thigh to try and reassure me, he must sense the vibe too. Tony turns to me “So tell us y/n what do you do?” all eyes are suddenly on me and I can feel myself going red. “I am a manager just for a little admin company in the city. I also have my own little hair dressing business on the side.” They all nod confirming they are listening to what I am saying. Debbie speaks up “so have you had more clients now they know you are dating Mason” I am a bit taken back by the comment and I can see Mason shoot daggers at her which I am quickly to reply for my defence, “Actually Mason and I are keeping our relationship under the radar at the moment so only family and close friends are aware”. Debbie gave me a small scoff in response and we all continued eating.
I whispered to Mason that I needed the loo and he told me where it was, as I escort myself I stand at the entrance and listen to what they have to say. “Why are you all being so rude!” I hear Mason shout but I can tell he is still trying to keep his voice low so I don’t hear. “I don’t know what you are talking Mason. We are just asking her questions to show our involvement?” Debbie tried to act innocent. That’s when I hear Jaz but in “we are just trying to look at for our baby brother Mase. Come on she is not famous, she doesn’t have a high end job. She is nothing really special Mase are you really trying to tell me she is with you just for love? Like your job and lifestyle had no factor in her getting with you. Come on Mase, you are blind when it comes to love, you cannot generally believe she loves you for you, come on look at this from our side”. Mason doesn’t reply and that’s my queue to come back inside. Its awkward for the rest of the dinner, and not much more is said.
On the way home me and Mason are sat in silence and all that could be heard is the small sound of the radio playing. I look over at Mason “they hate me don’t they?”
“They don’t hate you they just haven’t been given the chance to know you. They are just protective of me that’s all”.
I look at Mason as I know he is just truing to play devils advocate but still “Mason I heard what they said. They don’t want us together.” With this Mason pulled over at the side of the road and took his hand in mine. “Well I want us together and that’s all that matters” and he places a small loving kiss to my lips. I can feel myself smiling into this kiss, I love how he is protecting me.
A couple of weeks have passed since that lunch, Mason has been a little distant but I put it down to us both being busy. Its date night and Mason arranged for me to come round and agreed he would make dinner. I put some flared trousers on and tucked in a nice top so I was casual but still nice enough for the date. As I walk through the door Mason greets me “that smells amazing” I say as he gives me a kiss. “well I got a surprise for you. I wanted to wait until after dinner but I just couldn’t wait” .
I smile at him and bring him closer “oi oi” I wink provocatively. Mason pulls away and giggles “no not like that. That’s for after dinner” he raises his eyebrows teasing. I follow him into the kitchen and perch on one of the stools at his breakfast bar whilst he stands the other side. “Sooo how do you feel about going to Mykonos?” I look at him in disbelief. I jump across the counter and wrap my arms around him “yes yes yes! I would love to go”. Mason leans down and places his lips onto mine. I have never been so excited, going to Mykonos with the love of my life. Life couldn’t get better.
I was on cloud 9 for weeks after that, starting holiday prepping and I was on good vibes. That’s when Mason had to break to me that it wasn’t just us 2 going away and that his whole family would be going away with us. I was now dreading it, I know they don’t like me so its going to be completely awkward. I agreed to meet Mason at the airport as I didn’t want to do the silent car ride with his family. As I arrived I see Mason wave over to me, as I make my over he wraps his arms around me “hey baby” he whispers into my ear. “Hey y/n how you doing?” his mum questions and gives me a small hug. “I am good thank you Mrs Mount how are you? I am excited to go away with you all.” I say nervously. She pulls away “oh please call me Debbie we are all excited to get to know you better”. She winks as she walks away, I look at Mason with a confused look he leans down to my ear as he wraps his arms round my side “I told them to go easy on you”. I gave Mason a massive smile knowing I can try and enjoy the holiday.
The first couple of the days are bliss, Mason’s family are making a complete effort and trying to get to know me. I am having a much needed shower before getting ready for dinner, Mason walks into the bathroom “damn you are beautiful” in which he makes me blush “I might have to join you” which he winks and starts to undress. I quickly turn the shower off and get out “Uh uh we got dinner we haven’t got time for this”. Which I feel Mason pout into the kiss. I decide to wear a long white Maxi Co-Ord which the skirt has a slit up the side showing leg. I look in the mirror and make the final touches to my hair. I feel Mason wrap his arms around my waist “you are the most beautiful girl in the world” I watch in the mirror as he places small open kiss to my neck, I feel myself relax into him as I left out a small moan in response to the kisses. “I’m the luckiest girl in the world” I rely turning around and continue to kiss Mason’s lips. I pull away a let out a small giggle as my lipstick is now smudged over his lips, I use my thumb to wipe it off. “I love you, you know that” I respond. Mason then kisses me again “I love you more”.
We start to walk down the street towards the restaurant for dinner, Mason and I are walking in front of everyone hand in hand. I hear a snap and then Lewis shouts over “you two are so cute!” I can feel myself blush as he shows me the picture he took. “That’s so cute, send that to me!” which Lewis nods in agreement.

We sit down for dinner which overlooks the sea, it looks incredible and looking over at other tables the food looks like its to die for. We are all chatting away when a women walks over to our table, she is wear a tiny mini dress and looks drop dead gorgeous. She looks incredible, she looks like a Victoria secret model, I feel like I have seen her before but I cannot place it.
Tony stands straight up and brings her into a tight hug “Rebecca darling how are you doing?!” I watch as her face lights up as they engage in small conversation and Debbie hugs her and goes to get another chair. I look at Mason and his face drops “who is that?” I ask but he doesn’t respond. The girl now speaks “I am so sorry I am late guys its been one hell of a travel over here, one of my shoots overran so I missed the flight with you guys, then my next flight was cancelled, then they thought I lost my luggage it was such a hell of a ride but I am glad I am here now”. I watch as Debbie reaches over and rubs her wrist. Who is this woman?
Debbie is next to speak “So Becks where are you staying?” I watch as the woman takes a sip of her drink she ordered moments ago. “Oh Debs don’t even get me started! When I arrived at my hotel they said they don’t even have my booking. I guess I wasn’t the best at arranging these, I use to leave that all upto him”. Which they all laugh at, well apart from Mason. I am still looking around confused. “Well we have a spare room in the villa you are more then welcome to stay. I am sure everyone won’t mind one more” Debbie says and looks around for conformation. Jaz then speaks up “it would be amazing for you to stay. We have so much to catch up on”. I look over at Mason who is shooting looks at Lewis which Lewis shrugs in response. I look over at Mason and ask again “Mase who is that?” but again I am met with no response.
Mason is totally quiet over dinner and chit chat is all turned towards that Rebecca, I quickly escort myself to the toilet and once there I google her name which the first news article that came up “Rebecca Green spotted first time since break up with Man United’s Mason Mount” I feel my heart drop. I knew I saw her sometime. She is Mason’s ex. Why is she here? I feel a lump in my throat rising I need to speak to Mason.
Once dinner is finished we all take a walk back to the villa, its not as loving as it was when we were walking to dinner. Everytime I tried to link hands with Mason he would pull away but then give me a loving smile at the same time so my heads is confused. When we arrived everyone agreed that it was late and everyone was going to their respective room. Mason turned to me “I will be up soon I need to have a quick conversation.” I go to kiss him but he turns his head so I only get his cheek, I nod in agreement and then make my way upto our room, I thought I would have a quick bath and by the time I am out Mason should be out, he will probably just ask his parents what they are playing at inviting Rebecca, I have nothing to worry about I keep trying to tell myself. Once I am out the bath Mason is still not up, I look at the time and its been a couple of hours, I didn’t even realise the time as I was engrossed in the book I was reading. I wrap a towel around me, I go to look on the balcony and the side makes me feel sick. Its Mason and Rebecca sat on the table by the fire laughing away. I try to think nothing of it and get into bed hoping Mason will be back soon.
I am woken by the sound of Mason stumbling into the room, he quickly strips and throws himself into bed. “What time is it?” I ask Mason rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. Mason turns his body to me “1ish I think sorry we just got into catching up and didn’t realise the time” Mason pouts and gives me puppy eyes. “don’t be angry at me babyyyyy” he wines. “how can I stay mad at you” I respond giving Mason a little kiss but at the same time my heart still hurting.
I am debating to have the conversation now or in the morning but then I just blurt out “What is she doing her Mase?” I ask sheepishly hoping not to cause an argument. Mason wraps me up “Sorry I really didn’t know she was coming” I nod, it sounds like there is a little bit of a lie in that but right now I am not here to fight. “Don’t you think it will be a little awkward with your ex and your current girlfriend being on the same holiday with you?”
“Only if we make it awkward” in which Mason is quick to reply. I start to kiss Mason as I push my body into his. I pull away and look into his eyes “I was hoping to finish off what we couldn’t earlier in the shower” which I shoot him a wink as I start to kiss his neck. Mason pushes me away “I am knackered baby, its been a long day and I have had a lot to drink. But if you are lucky maybe you will wake up to something jabbing your bum in the morning” which he shoots me a wink. I roll my eyes at his response “how romantic” I giggle and then Mason turns me around as he spoons me and sleeps overwhelms us both.
As I open my eyes I suddenly feel the lack of presence of Masons strong arms around me, I quickly stretch then realise he is not next to me in bed. He cannot have one day off from the gym I thought. I got up and put a bikini on and throw on a dress to cover up as I make my way downstairs. Its quiet and only Lewis is sitting by the pool, I sit next to him. “Where is everyone?” I ask. “Mason and Rebecca are at the gym and the others are by the beach. I told Mason sod the gym in this heat” which we both giggle. “You know that he must be a mad man” I quickly respond trying to hide the twinge of guilt I have.
I didn’t see Mason for the rest of the day, his family are basically acting like I am not there and the only one who is acknowledging me is Lewis. I feel like shit and I just want to go home. I quickly ring my friend Hannah as I sat on the bed. “Hey girlllll! Hows the holiday with lover boy? I am totally jealous and totally hate you right now!” she basically squeals. “Its going alright” I reply looking down trying to hold the tears in. I can see her looking at me trying to figure out whats happened. “Y/N you are literally in Mykonos with The Mason Mount and you are not happy right now whats happened?” as I am explaining everything to her and I can feel the tears running down my face as she tries to reassure me that Mason loves me. I can hear Mason coming back into the villa so I explain to Hannah I gotta go which she understands and we both say our goodbye. I wipe my tears away waiting for Mason to come into the bedroom but nothing is happening. I start scrolling on my phone and I see Mason is tagged on a post:

The Best Days With You ❤️

I feel myself wanting to be sick as the lump in my throat is formed. At this point Mason now decides to walk into the bedroom. He quickly sees my upset demeanour and runs straight over to me “baby whats wrong?” he asks as he wipes my tears away with his thumb. I show Mason the insta post “you literally went on a date with your ex girlfriend whilst I have been stuck here all day with your family who hate me and haven’t even spoken a word to me! Come on Mason she is wearing your shirt for fucks sake!” I am shouting now as I point at the picture, Mason steps back as he hasn’t been prepared for this argument. “I told her not to post anything!” I get up looking at Mason. “That’s you reply! That you told her not to post anything! So you are not denying you went on a date with her!” I can see Mason started to get fired up and I know he really doesn’t want to right now. “It wasn’t a date, okay, we had a lot to talk about so we did that, I am allowed to have a conversation with her. Also if you want my family to speak to you why not try and put more of an effort into it and they might actually start talking to you” he fired back. I can feel the tears rolling down my face as I leave the bedroom not wanting to ignite the fire more.
As I make my way downstairs the villa is empty and its just Rebecca sitting on her own on the decking. I build up the bravery and I go and sit opposite her. “hey we haven’t had a chance to introduce myself I am y/n” she looks up at me and smiles. “hey y/n! I am Rebecca. So how do you know the Mounts? Are you friend of Lewis’s or Jaz’s?” I look at her confused. Mason didn’t tell her who I am. “I am Mason’s girlfriend” I blurt out with authority. She looks at me with wide eyes like she is shocked at my reply. “I am sorry I didn’t realise Mase had a girlfriend I am so sorry for hogging him since we have been here. We have had so much to speak about” .
“Yeah he said” I scoffed as I replied. She continues to look at me. “I am sorry I am just so shocked that Mase has a girlfriend. He brought me the ticket for this holiday ages ago but then obviously we hadn’t spoken after the breakup, and then Debbie messaged me saying to still come. I wouldn’t think she would do that if you guys were in a relationship and then Mason had to buy another ticket for you”.
I can feel my heart breaking at every word said “I paid for myself I didn’t want anyone thinking I was here for Mason’s money, but also his family are not my biggest fan so that’s probably why they invited you”.
She gives me a smile that I can tell from her eyes is totally fake “sorry I cannot relate on that one! His family have always loved me!” she giggles. I feel the hatred towards her already, and I don’t know why I thought coming down here would make me feel better, if anything it has made me feel worse. I escort myself back to our bedroom which Mason has already disappeared from. I collapse against the door and let my tears fall.
Mason’s POV
I spot Lewis from across the villa “Lew where is she?” Lewis looks at me confused which right now I am not in the mood for this conversation. “Where is who?” I can tell he generally doesn’t have a clue who I am talking about. “Y/n.. we had a kinda fight last night and I left her to cool down but when I came back this morning she was gone all of her stuff is gone and she won’t answer the phone. I am worried about her Lew whats happened?”
Lewis let out a big sigh “I don’t know where she went mate. We had a chat last night as she was pretty upset and you weren’t around”. I am shocked at this, why would you speak to Lewis and not me. “What was said?”
“She was upset about the post that Rebecca put up and I don’t blame her bro it didn’t look good”
“It was nothing like you think Lew. I promise look the one where I was asleep on the beach she said she was going to take a walk and then I fell asleep on the beach I didn’t even know she was next to me. The one she took in the shadow I didn’t even know she was taking the photo I was looking down at my phone. And then one with her on the beach, she asked me to take for her insta.”
“She has your shirt on tho, it does look bad Mason?”
“She didn’t have anything to cover up with, she said she was getting burnt what was I supposed to say no and let her burn?”
“I think y/n’s reply to that would be yes” in which Lewis laugh “she then said she spoke to Rebecca, apparently Rebecca was saying about how you never mentioned that y/n was your girlfriend and how mum invited Rebecca on the holiday as you had already paid for the ticket”. I cannot keep my expression straight, I am now fuming.
“That’s bullshit Lewis! Come on you know that is! You had to of told her that!”
“I didn’t say anything Mase, I don’t know the truth I don’t even know why Rebecca is here so I just listened to her have her rant. Kind of like what I am doing for you now”.
“I told Rebecca that y/n is my girlfriend. That was the first thing she asked me when she arrived was who she was and I told her straight away I was taken. I went to the gym yesterday morning and she just invited herself, and she did the same on the beach. I wanted to speak to her and ask her why she was here. Mum never invited her, she just had the ticket and thought ‘fuck it’ and thought she could come out and I don’t know, rekindle the relationship or something. She is possessive that’s the whole reason we broke up in the first place. Mum just asked her to stay to be polite as she had no where to stay. You know mum always liked her so I think she was just trying to be nice.”
“Oh right, yeah that came up too. Rebecca said about how our family loved her and then y/n said about how much we hated her apparently. I told her we don’t hate her, its just that we are protective of you as you are the baby of the family that’s all. But I know I have got to know her a lot more during the holiday and she is actually a lovely girl and I am sure the rest of the family agree.”
“I told her that!” Then I realise what I actually said “Well actually I snapped at her, and told her if she makes more of an effort then maybe you guys would like her”.
Lewis rolls his eyes and scoffs “Wow that’s nice!” he said sarcastically.
“I didn’t mean it, I let Rebecca get into my head. We always used to argue as she always thought I was cheating and that argument with y/n brought back memories and I just snapped. I didn’t mean anything I said to her I just got angry. I wanted to explain everything this morning but when I got into our bedroom she was gone. Do you think she has gone home?”
“Maybe.. if I were her Mase, I would already be on the next flight home so she is probably doing the same.”
I feel my chest drop as deep down I know Lewis was right. I didn’t want to leave my family as it’s the first time in ages that I have seen them. I spend the next couple of days fighting with my head and heart. I kept trying to call and text you but you continue to read everything that I write and just not reply.
We are sat over dinner with everyone, I told Rebecca to go home after everything I couldn’t cope with her being here, she caused all of this. As soon as she realised it would never be me and her again she couldn’t wait to leave. I told my family everything yesterday as I was moping around and they couldn’t stand my attitude apparently. My dad turned to me as we were eating “why are you still here? The longer you leave it the longer she has to think about all your flaws” that makes everyone giggle.
“You guys didn’t like her anyway” I was quick to respond. Mum give me a sympathetic look, “Mase its our duty to protect you. No girl will ever be good enough for you. Yes I agree we probably didn’t give her the nicest start and we apologise for that. But with your job and fame there are going to be girls who just use you to be apart of that, its our job to filter them out. From this holiday we can tell that she loves you for you Mason and that’s all we want so she has our approval.” My heart melts at hearing that all I wanted was for my family to like you, as I generally think I am proper falling for you. My mum continues “also Rebecca told me when she was leaving, that y/n told her that she paid for her part of the holiday, so you paid for everyone apart from that poor poor girl and she only stayed for half the holiday. I suggest when you get home you give her a one hell of a sorry”.
“In my defence I did offer to pay, she insisted on paying as she didn’t want you guys to think she was using my money.”
“Well then I suggest you go home and make it right Mase. You can see us anytime go home to her”. I have heard all I need to.
I got on the next flight home, it was the longest hours of my life. All I can think about is you, what are you going to think? Are you going to take me back?
Readers POV
Its been a long couple of days, I have unpacked all my holiday stuff, half of it unworn which brings tears to my eyes. It was childish that I left without a trace but I couldn’t be there, its clear that Mason wants Rebecca, why wouldn’t he, she is stunning and I am just little old me.
I am just starting to cook dinner whilst I have my tunes in the background. I am dancing around when I hear a knock at my door. I quickly open it and I am shocked to see Mason standing there, suitcase and all in trail. I am speechless, out of anyone who could be at my door I did not expect him. “W-What are you doing here?”
Mason looks tired from all the travelling “I have a lot of explaining to do. Please 5 mins that’s all I am asking for”. I nod and let him inside, he came back from the holiday early and clearly come straight from the airport the least I can do is let him explain.
“I-If I knew you were coming I would of changed?” I quickly look down at my stained PJs, messy bun and glasses. Mason shakes his head as he takes a seat in my living room “I think you still look unreal” I blush at the compliment. “So explain” I say joining him on the sofa.
“It isn’t what you think okay, Rebecca twisted it all. Let me start from the beginning, so firstly-“
“I know Lewis told me”
“He did”
“Yeah yesterday. He said you had a conversation with him and cleared it all out. He said he wanted me know now as he didn’t want me waiting days and hating you more and more each day. He said that he liked me, and he said that he could see that I meant a lot to you so wanted to make things right.”
“Well he kind of ruined my whole speech that I wrote on the plane” he giggles “but I am glad he told you. I couldn’t stand the thought of you hating me.”
“I could never hate you Mase. I love you. I love you more then I have ever loved someone before. But at the same time you hurt me. Especially when you said ‘if I wanted your parents to like me then I need to make more of an effort’ because I spend all that time on holiday trying to get them to like me and that didn’t work.”
“It did, why do you think I am here. They told me to go fight for you because they can tell you are a lovely girl and wanted to see where this relationship could go. I am sorry for how I acted, but I promise you y/n even if my family didn’t approve I don’t care. I want you and only you. Nothing will ever change my mind”.
My heart melts and I jump across the sofa and wrap my arms around Mason. The kiss was passionate and needy. I straddle his hips as we deepen the kiss. “you have a lot of making up to do.” Mason gives me a suggestive smile. “Don’t worry I kinda thought so. Tomorrow we have date night but tonight I will make it up to you in another way”. Mason picks me up as my legs wrap around his waist as we continue the kiss as we make our way to the bedroom. I am in for a night of apologises and I have absolutely no objections.

can you write about drew and reader are a couple but no one knows and austin theory wants to have his way with reader. she’s shy and kind and she struggles saying no so austin thinks he has free will with her until he goes to far and drew has to intervene. some angst and a lot of fluff please ❤️❤️
drew mcintyre x reader
‼️angst, feels, comfort, touching without consent, austin is a dick here sorry‼️
safe in his arms
being shy in the wrestling business wasn’t easy. you were used to the loud personalities, the egos, the over-the-top confidence. you’d spent years perfecting your smile, your polite nods, your quiet way of excusing yourself from conversations that made you uncomfortable.
but the hardest part? saying no.
you never wanted to be rude. never wanted to upset anyone. so when people pushed, you let them. when they ignored your hesitation, you swallowed it down.
and most of the time, it wasn’t that bad.
but then, there was austin theory.
cocky, arrogant, and completely convinced that every woman in the locker room wanted him, including you.
it didn’t matter that you never flirted back. didn’t matter that you barely even made eye contact when he talked to you. he saw your shyness as an invitation, your soft-spoken nature as an opportunity.
and tonight, he took it too far.
the show had just ended, and you were on your way back to the locker room when you heard him.
“hey, y/n” austin called, jogging up beside you.
you forced a small smile “hey.”
“great match tonight” he said, flashing a grin “you looked real good out there.”
“thanks…” you murmured, hoping that would be the end of it.
but he kept walking beside you.
“you know, i was thinking…” he continued, his voice dripping with confidence “we should go out sometime. celebrate a little.”
you swallowed “oh, um… that’s nice of you, but i-“
“c’mon!” he interrupted, nudging your arm. “you never go out. gotta let loose a little.”
you hesitated. “i just don’t think…”
“just one drink!” he insisted “what’s the harm in that?”
your heart started to race “i’m really not-…”
and in that moment his hand landed on your waist. it wasn’t rough, wasn’t violent, but it wasn’t welcome.
your whole body tensed.
“austin, i said no…” you said, voice barely above a whisper.
but he didn’t move.
“don’t be like that” he murmured, his fingers pressing slightly against your hip “you’re just playin’ hard to get, huh?”
your throat tightened.
you knew austin. he wasn’t a bad person. he wasn’t dangerous.but right now, you felt trapped.
and then…
“get your hands off her.”
austin barely had a second to react before he was shoved back, hard enough to send him stumbling.
your breath caught.
drew.
his chest was heaving, his eyes burning with something dark, dangerous. his hands were clenched into fists at his sides.
“what the hell, man?” austin huffed, regaining his balance “we were just talking.”
drew didn’t even blink “she said no.”
austin scoffed “oh, so you’re speaking for her now?”
“no” drew said, voice low and controlled, “but i’m damn sure listening to her more than you are.”
austin rolled his eyes “whatever, man. she’s a big girl. she can handle herself.”
drew took a step forward “she shouldn’t have to.”
for a moment, no one moved.
then, austin threw his hands up backing away “fine. whatever. not worth the trouble.”
you let out a shaky breath as he disappeared down the hall. immediately, drew turned to you, his expression softening “are you okay?”
your lips parted, but no sound came out. you felt frozen, like your body hadn’t caught up with what had just happened.
drew’s hand cupped your face, his thumb brushing gently over your cheek. “sweetheart...” the warmth of his touch melted the ice in your chest.
you inhaled sharply, nodding “yeah. i’m okay…i just… i didn’t know what to do.”
his brows pulled together “you shouldn’t have to do anything. you told him no. that should’ve been enough.”
your vision blurred slightly “but it never is.”
his jaw clenched “i know.”
he wrapped an arm around you, pulling you into his chest. you didn’t hesitate. you melted against him, burying your face in the fabric of his shirt. his arms tightened around you “i’ve got you” he whispered softly.
you let out a shaky breath “thank you.”
his lips pressed to the top of your head “always.”
later, in the quiet of your hotel room, drew held you close, his fingers tracing gentle patterns on your back.
“i hate that you felt like you couldn’t say no,” he murmured “hate that people take advantage of your kindness.”
you sighed “i don’t want to be mean.”
he pulled back slightly, looking down at you. “standing up for yourself isn’t mean.”
you bit your lip “i just…i don’t want people to hate me.”
his expression softened “sweetheart,” he said, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear “anyone who gets mad at you for having boundaries isn’t worth worrying about.”
you swallowed “i know. it’s just…hard.”
he nodded “i know. but i’ll be right here, every time you need me.”
your heart swelled. you reached up, fingers brushing his jaw “i love you.”
he smiled, warm and soft “i love you too.”
his lips met yours, slow and gentle, a silent promise that you were safe.
that you were his. and in his arms, you finally felt at peace.

Never Strangers: Chapter Four
Word Count: 3.7k
Warnings: binge drinking, that's basically it
Authors Note: happy game day! we're still in the "its so over" portion of paige and maya's story but dw we're making our way to the "we're so back" section. lesson of this chapter do not try to have a serious convo with your ex in a bar. also shoutout to anon who said they had a dream about chapter 4 being posted, here you go bby <3
“You said they weren’t coming!” I hissed to Adria. My eyes were focused on how Paige looked accepting a shot from one of the mens players, going eye to eye with KK before tilting her head back and letting the liquid rush down her throat. I knew I should look away - no, had to look away - but there was something about seeing Paige in the flesh after all these years that made it so I physically couldn’t.
Adria appeared just as shocked, alternating between looking at me and the two players. “That’s what KK said!”
The music echoing through the bar all became too much. The shots taken earlier in the night evolved from a warm buzz to an uncomfortable heat blazing through me, making me sweat in my jean shorts and black tank top. I needed a break, needed some time to think of a game plan. Surely there was time to sneak out of a back window or something. I just needed to be somewhere quieter, somewhere where I wouldn’t be seen. “Um, I’m just gonna go to the bathroo-“
Before I could finish my sentence, a loud voice broke through the crowd, “Adria!”
Both Adria and I watched as my window of escape vanished before my eyes in just a few short moments: A girl with a bright smile, wearing a baggy white tee shirt with a silver chain, barreled through the sea of people and towards my friend, whose jaw had not left the floor. KK Arnold. And who else would be behind her than Paige, whose eyes met mine before I could avert them.
I had seen more recent photos of Paige, sure, but getting to see her in person - the way her hair texture had changed from the pin straight style she kept through high school to a more natural wave, the way her arms had grown in definition, and the way her eyes widened as she was taking me in at the same time - that was a completely different ball game. KK moved to embrace Adria, her hands lingering on the other girls waist in a way that was just noticeable enough that anyone who bothered to look would raise an eyebrow. “I’ve been texting you!”
“What happened to Teds?” Adria asked, leaning into the other girls touch. Through my panic, there was a brief moment of recognition of just how good the two of them looked together. If KK is half as great as Adria makes her out to be, they would make a good couple - as long as KK doesn’t fuck it up.
“Some emergency maintenance thing with the plumbing, they kicked us out.” KK grumbled, leaning one arm against the aforementioned table. As if she just noticed there was another person with the girl (wouldn’t be the first time tonight), she gestured over to me. “Is this your friend?”
Adria nodded, looking over to me as if she was seeking permission to acknowledge the elephant in the room. There was no use trying to be invisible now: in just a few moments, I had become very, very visible, and the pair of bright blue eyes staring at me in shock from my peripheral vision were proof of that. “KK, this is Maya. Maya, this is KK”
I smiled and gave a wave, which earned me a sudden side hug in return. “Hi, I’m KK,” the shorter basketball player gave me an intoxicated grin, giving no indication of knowing who I was. KK pulled away, turning to face the blonde who had kept a few steps of distance until this point. Whether this was to allow KK to have her moment with her girl or to avoid me, I didn’t know. I didn’t really care to know. “Adria, I’m not sure you’ve met Paige - Adria, Maya, this is my designated driver of the night.”
I forced myself to make eye contact once more, letting myself get washed away as Paige looked me up and down as if she was somehow still unconvinced I was there. It was only after I heard Adria introduce herself through the muffled haze that I remembered I was still around others. With a voice crack I am not proud of, I managed a, “Hey Paige.”
Paige bit her lip, nodding as if to bring herself back to the present as well. “Long time no see.”
KK, who had appeared unaware of any tension between us while her girl stood next to her a little too aware, shifted her grace between Paige and I. “You two know each other or something?”
Paige let out a loud cough, her eyes like saucers, leaving me to answer the loaded question. “Yeah, um, old friend from high school.”
KK’s reaction to this information was akin to a kid at Disneyworld. “Oh shit, so you got to see Hopkins Paige in action then?”
“Sure did!” I force a smile, feigning joy so well I almost believed it myself. Inside, images of nights nearly losing my voice as I stood out of place in the Hopkins section of the audience and post-game meals with the Bueckers family came back to me like a plague.
“Well, looks like I need to catch up with you guys. Your drink is almost empty!” KK shouted, turning back towards Adria and gesturing to the glass in her hand which had been reduced to a watery brown substance, the Captain and Coke long finished. KK grabbed her hand. “Come with me, I’ll buy you another.”
With a speed and energy that was truly impressive (athlete stamina, I guess), KK managed to whisk Adria towards the bar, leaving Paige and I alone as Adria shot one last apologetic glance my direction. And then there were two.
--------
How do you introduce yourself to someone who once knew everything about you? I don’t think. either of us knew the answer to that question, but Paige made an attempt.
“Hey,” she said, her voice almost cautious, unlike the interview clips I had seen where she had been unapologetically confident.
I can’t say I’m much more confident when I squeak out, “Hi.”
She makes a stab at breaking the ice first, asking the obvious question. “Had enough of Minnesota, huh?”
I felt myself rock on my toes, the stickiness of the bar floor not making my typical anxious tick easy. “Just… looking for a change, I guess.”
“Yeah, I get that.” She nods, looking around the bar of UConn fans before smiling. “Made a good choice at least.”
I pause at that, opening my mouth before giving it much thought. “Not sure I’ve been making too many of those lately.” I wasn’t sure why I felt the need to tell Paige the truth, something I had hardly accepted myself after years of it being my identity. Being in front of Paige for the first time in three year must have reminded me of the times where telling Paige everything felt like a given, back when there were no secrets between us. I guess old habits die hard. “I quit mock trial.”
Paige’s eyes widened, her lashes blinking as if that was the last thing she was expecting me to say (in which case I am concerned which “bad decisions” she deemed more likely for me to make). “What? When?”
“Last spring, when I was still at Minnesota.” I looked down, unable to handle her gaze on me much longer after dropping this on her. I had dealt with enough disappointed looks and people scolding me like a child for this choice in the past few months - I don’t know if I could handle it from her right now. “I loved it in high school, and then I got to college and it just didn’t really hit for me anymore. I think I was just scared to leave for a while because it was so comfortable. But now I’m… just figuring it out. Opening myself up to everything.”
She nodded, eyes trained on me like she was really trying to understand what I was saying. Finally she shrugs; not in a dismissive way, but almost as a method of reassurance. “Well, as long as you’re doing what you think is best, I don’t think that’s the worst decision you could make.”
I found some relief in those words. I think it may have been the first time I had heard them since I sent my resignation in. Paige was always good at that in high school, reassuring me that I didn’t need to have it all figured out and that the world wouldn’t implode if I didn’t have my life planned out through my thirties. Surely if she were feeling this way about basketball, I knew she wouldn’t take her own advice, but it didn’t make the sentiment matter less. Even if I didn’t know it, I think I may have needed just one person to tell me I wasn’t about to fuck my life up. Even if it was coming from someone I never thought I would speak to again.
In the back of our conversation, some Nicki Minaj remix faded out. In some absurd twist of fate that can only be explained by my absurd luck this past week, a couple of chords caused a visible reaction in both of us, my back straightening and head cocking as if I hadn’t heard it correctly. Fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately) I had: the opening chords to Exchange began playing over the speakers.
I tried my best to play it cool, staring at my sneakers so as to not blow my cover immediately, until I peered up and saw that Paige was thinking the exact same thing, an amused grin plastered on her face. “Is this-“
I couldn’t help myself - I started cackling, because if I didn’t laugh I was pretty sure I would find the nearest hole in Storrs and bury myself in it. My laugh was followed by Paige’s, ours harmonizing in a way that was all too familiar and caused an unnecessary tug at my heart in a way I preferred not to think about.
Rolling my eyes, I exclaim, “Exchange in the bar is crazy.”
We look at each other, clearly both thinking about that night in the Culvers parking lot, how the Fanta float tasted on her tongue. Maybe it was the flashing lights, but I could have sworn I saw a spark in her eyes, which grew in intensity the longer she looked. Maybe there was one in my eyes too.
Before we could let the moment linger, a familiar voice calls out. “P Boogers, Maya! We got a shotski, come on!”
------
KK and Adria stood at the bar, Adria laughing as KK pretends to stretch her arms in order to prepare for the shot in front of them - a wooden ski painted white, with four blue shot glasses on it. How fitting for a UConn sports bar.
Paige and I join them, assuming our positions as the bartender aids in lifting the ski. Out of all the things that have felt foreign to me at UConn, this does not feel unusual - it reminds me of tailgates with my friends as we prepared to cheer on the Gophers.
You would think having experience with shotskis I would know the mechanics better, particularly mechanics involving height. But it is only as we tilt the board back and I recognize that I am standing next to two tall athletes that I have made a grave mistake, one that I am unable to correct before the glasses meet the other girls lips and I am met with a shower of strong liquid splashing down on me, my eyes shutting just fast enough to avoid any true catastrophe.
“Oh shit,” I hear them notice what has happened as I bend over, attempting not to gag as I realize KK has purchased rail vodka, which smells not unlike Everclear.
“It’s fine, it’s fine,” I manage to say, though I know I am fooling nobody. Opening my eyes, I see the guilt on the three of their faces as KK attempts to flag down the bartender who is currently helping a group of six girls all on different tabs. “I’m gonna just run to the bathroom and clean up a bit.”
I only make it a few steps before I sense the blonde jog up beside me, her face concerned. “Can I help?” I am beyond embarrassed, all too aware of the people surrounding us who noticed the incident, some of whom elbowing their friends upon spotting Paige. I don’t really have it in me to argue when Paige identifies a single stall restroom, pushing us inside.
It’s wild to me how just one locked door can feel so much more secluded and safe, even though from the disheveled appearance I can tell this bathroom has likely seen unimaginable horrors. Paige gets to work quick, wetting a paper towel on the sink and turning to assess the damage.
“I’m pretty sure there’s vodka in my hair.” I laugh, head leaning back before somewhat suddenly hitting the cool tile wall behind me, which only prompted more giggling. Paige gave a hum of concern, fingers tracing the back of my head to ensure I didn’t hit it too hard, though I saw her swallow back a laugh of her own. She trails her fingertips down, examining my styled wavy hair to see if my suspicions were true. I closed my eyes and tried not to think about the fact that Paige was doing this right now, touching my hair so tenderly with her body so close I was surrounded by the musk of her cologne.
“How much did that bartender pour? Goddamn,” Paige clearly was not given as pleasant of a smell, visibly wincing as she was faced with the smell of rail liquor.
Paige removed her fingers from my hair, unable to find any excessive liquid in my tresses. Her eyes traced a couple of inches down before stopping. Noticing how the grip on her damp paper towel only tightened, my eyes trailed down my own body before realizing what caught her attention - a huge splash of liquid on the point where my top met my breasts, the cheap vodka giving my cleavage a sheen under the hum of the cheap bathroom light. Paige’s lower lip was caught in her teeth, biting down before clearing her throat which seemed to break the spell on both of us.
With haste, I grab a paper towel of my own, dabbing at my skin and attempting to make it look as decent as possible. This could not happen again. I know what she did the first time, I remind myself. “You didn’t need to help me, I’m not going to die from a little liquor on my skin,” I crack a joke, escorting the both of us out of the bathroom and back into the crowded bar. “Thank you for doing it though.”
Paige looks at me with an unreadable expression, almost appearing as if she wants to say something before setting on,“You know it’s really good to see you, right?”
I can’t help the flush that reaches my face, though perhaps later I would blame it all on the alcohol. The truth was that seeing Paige tonight was far less scary than I was envisioning. Some parts of it - the reassurance, the laughs, her touch - it felt like old times. Maybe that was the scariest part. At least it was the scariest part until her face fell serious, taking a cautious step forward before beginning, “Been wanting to talk to you for a while. Actually talk to you.”
I felt my heart rate accelerate, feeling out of breath even though I was simply standing there. Licking my lips, I manage an, “I don’t know.”
“What?”
“I don’t want to do this here.” I dismissed, feeling pressure accumulate at the base of my throat at a speed that was starting to scare me. When Paige and I were alone, all outside noise muffled, the bar felt more manageable. Now, as the other girl had unknowingly cornered me as we were surrounded by sweaty bodies, I felt trapped. “I promised Adria I’d be here tonight, and she is…”
“Gone, probably left with KK.” I look around, realizing her assessment is right. Reaching for my phone, I find her message. “KK wanted to leave and talk. So sorry. Good luck.”
So much for my lifeline. “It was years ago, we don’t need to…”
Paige cuts me off, an old habit that until now she had refrained from falling back into. “Need to what? Maya, I’ve waited years because it’s what you wanted. And I respect that, I do. I just have shit I needa say. Give me two minutes, please.”
Paige sounded downright desperate, her eyes wide and pleading. I would be lying if I said I never pictured this happening, and what I would do or say if I ever got the chance to see her again. I can’t say I ever pictured it happening at a crowded bar, covered in vodka. Then again, I never pictured going to UConn in the first place. Sighing, I gestured her to follow me, moving us to an area with slightly less people. Not that it was necessarily secluded at all, but drunk me couldn’t find it in me to care. “Say what you need to say,” I say, feigning confidence despite my arms remaining crossed.
“I was a dick in high school, okay. I do not blame you at all for acting how you did after… everything.” She didn’t need to say it for both of us to know. “I miss you, though. I never stopped missing my best friend. Nobody could ever take your place. I need you to know that I’m not the same person I was back then.”
I’m not sure if it was the two last sentences she said, or if it was the alcohol hitting me like a fucking mallet, but it was as though any listening I had been willing to offer to Paige had evaporated in just a few seconds. “Really? Because last time I heard, you had no issue forgetting everything happened the second you got here.”
One of Paige’s eyebrow raised as she stepped forward, reaching an arm out in an attempt to touch mine. “Maya, what are you talking about?”
I jerked away. While Paige’s touch felt warm and welcome earlier, it certainly did not feel that way now. “I hear you got pretty popular with the girls of UConn, didn’t you?”
Paige’s mouth shut and her eyes closed, as if she realized she had been caught in some form of a lie. Nearby, I hear a beer bottle shatter on the floor, and I am made aware of just how much I do not want to cry in here, surrounded by a bunch of drunk students who clearly know the person causing my tears. “Please let me explain. We weren’t together, you know I wouldn’t have done anything if we were.”
Of course that’s what she leads with, I thought with an eye roll. “I don’t care, Paige.” I stress. “You can hook up with whoever you want. I care that you can’t even be honest with me, and you’re telling me that you magically changed the second you got to Storrs. Because from what I’ve heard, I don’t know if you have.”
“Who’s telling you this, Maya?” She asks, as if I would ever tell her. I trusted Adria and Brooke. More importantly, I trusted my own intuition that screamed at me that there were other girls after me, especially after seeing a few girls give flirty glances her way. Something about the knowledge that I was likely just practice for all her girls at UConn made me want to run back into the single stall and expel all I had consumed throughout the night.
“Doesn’t matter. All I know is that you led me on and made me believe you wanted more when you just wanted to fuck around…”
“I didn’t…” She tries to cut me off again, but I won’t let her. Not this time.
“Let me finish. You ruined our friendship. You ruined us, Paige. And now you’re here, and I just know you’re off hurting other girls in the way you hurt me.”
I noted how the circle of girls next to me looked over, some of their glances sympathetic upon seeing my emotional state while others were downright dirty for disturbing the peace of their night. Though I didn’t feel as though I was in any place to walk, I quickly decided staying in this bar with Paige was far more dangerous. “I don’t think I can have this conversation right now. Hope you get home safe.”
Paige attempted to speak again, but I was already making my way to the door, un-phased by the pouring rain which I had failed to prepare for. I had no plan on how I was getting home, no clue when busses were running and no desire to walk thirty minutes in the dark while it was storming. All I knew is I needed to get out.
I couldn’t handle hearing her escape accountability, telling me what I wanted to hear instead of what I needed to hear. The sad part is that I almost believed her.
My mom always warned me how rose colored glasses changes the past and makes you believe things were better than they were. She didn’t need to tell me she was referring to dad when she said it - I could tell from the look in her eyes and the tone in her voice. Maybe the same could be said for Paige. Maybe all those memories of ours weren’t actually as real as I thought they were, and that the shameful nights I spent crying in my room all through senior year of high school (and let’s be real, a good bit of freshman year of college) were for nothing.
Maybe I never actually knew Paige Bueckers at all.

If you love her, then fight-Chenford era, The Rookie 7x7 episode discussion
Am enjoying reading the already many excellent reviews out there in Chenford nation- but just wanted to add a few favorite observations of this recent episode.
Celina: Aw, I loved how she really did the work and earned her officer status. So proud of her. Would love to see her riding with Lucy sometime (not just as TO and Rookie) but as two female cops kicking ass in the near future.
Miles: He was really sweet too. He has a good heart and I think he has what it takes to make it as a successful cop and go places.
Seth: I’m still on the fence about this one. On one hand, I want him to do well because I want Lucy to do well and get her win for once by showing her superiors that she is worthy of making detective or whatever she wants by helping Seth succeed. I don’t want her to fail. On the other hand, he is super flaky. Aside from the lie thing, he knows Tamara and Lucy are close, and then he arranges to hang out with Tamara privately knowing Lucy is his TO. I mean if he wanted to get on Lucy’s good side he would have asked her if she was cool with him hanging out with Tamara. But he just went ahead and did it without saying anything, then he put himself in jeopardy, which Lucy had to go and bail him out of. The baby cop act thing is getting old. Even when Lucy, Nolan, and Jackson were Rookies, they weren’t even close to that ignorant. Seth is going to get himself killed sooner or later. I get why Tim is concerned honestly.
Nolan and Bailey: I actually empathized with Bailey more this time. I felt like Nolan was being kind of a dick to her by ignoring her for a week. I like this angle for Bailey and hope they play it up, because she really needs a purpose, other than being the helpless damsel and supportive little wifey to Nolan.
Nolan and Tim: I enjoyed these two together as well. They actually have pretty good chemistry. I wouldn’t mind more Nolan and Tim scenes. I feel like Tim tells it like it is and sometimes Nolan needs that. Nolan is pretty damn dense sometimes. I mean exhibit A. He asks Tim when he knew his relationship with Isabel was over, which was like what 7+ years ago, and not really the same situation at all, since Isabel was addicted to drugs and was an undercover cop. And it was SO hilarious when he found out about the ring. I LOL’ed. And yeah, Nolan should have gotten in more trouble for losing the squad car. That was really really bad.
Nyla and James: I’m really glad they are working together now. I was worried about them for a bit, and it was nice of Wesley to chime in too. I feel like Nyla was kind of hiding out with Angela and avoiding dealing with James a lot and it wasn’t fair to him. So glad they finally have a plan.
Chenford: Last but not least. For the couple who didn’t have much in person screen time together over the course of the episode, they sure had a lot to say/think/suggest about one another.
Starting out with Tim’s veterans group and him getting lost in thought about their kiss and hook up. And then he confides in the group about what happened, and we learn that they are quite familiar with Lucy, and not only that, but Tim feels guilty that he did not earn her affections, and hasn’t done the work he feels he needs to do to earn Lucy’s trust back. But the group leader points out that Lucy was an active participant as well.
And then we see Lucy, who is daydreaming about the same exact moments, and not only that but she is putting on a new shade of lipstick, to draw the attention of a certain someone at work perhaps? But also possibly to mimic the feel of his lips against hers. Either way, we know they are both fantasizing about the other.
Then we get to Tim at the station and he’s making sure that Seth is 100% healthy so that he does not put his TO (aka Lucy) at risk. Love protective Tim!
And that’s only the beginning. When Tim’s shacked up with Nolan in the safe house he tells him about how he has regrets about not fighting for Lucy. And again when Nolan said he had trouble sleeping when Bailey wasn’t around Tim nodded in agreement, as if he might understand exactly how that felt.
Then when Lucy called Tim’s phone, waking him from sleep (And yeah when Lucy got in a bind the first person she called was Tim), he was about to bail on everything and planned to meet her until everything went haywire.
And lastly, the scene when Tamara is at the station and Lucy confronts her about Seth and then Tim walks in and he notices some friction between Lucy/Tamara. Then Lucy confides in Tim about her warning Tamara about Seth and it not going well, and Tim offered to put the fear of God into Seth. (Fast-forward if you want to see into future Lucy/Tim’s life in 18-20 years when they have their own young adult kids)
Their lives are so intertwined at this point it’s crazy they aren’t together yet. It’s pretty damn obvious at this point which direction they are headed and its not backwards. Chenford is the last stop at the end of the line, end game.
Looking forward to seeing what’s in store for our dynamic duo next week. Their chemistry is off the charts. They got off to a slow start, but loving the Chenford we’ve gotten the last couple episodes. I hope they keep it up. :D

Regressor! Nam-gyu w/ Caregiver! Thanos

Summary: Thanos has Nam-gyu’s spare key to his apartment. He decides to come over unannounced, only to find Nam-gyu regressed.
Contains: Age regression, toys, pacifiers, slight swearing.
A/N: This was originally requested on ao3 but I’m posting it on here as well.
Not proofread.
Thanos quietly laughed to himself as he made his way to Nam-gyu’s apartment. A couple weeks ago he had taken Nam-gyu’s spare key, mostly as a prank and to see how long it would take Nam-gyu to notice that it’s missing. He had yet to notice, so Thanos decided to surprise him and come by his place, without him knowing.
When he arrived at the apartment door, Thanos unlocked the door and slowly opened it while peaking inside. He didn’t see anything yet, but he could hear the tv playing. Though, he couldn’t make out what it was.
“Hellooo? Anyone home?” Thanos laughed as he walked into the apartment, quietly shutting the door behind him. “Nam-gyu, where are yo-” Thanos froze when he fully walked into the living room, where Nam-gyu was just staring at him.
Thanos definitely didn’t expect to see Nam-gyu sitting on his living room floor, playing with toys and having a pacifier in his mouth. He was shocked, to say the least, but he was aware of what was happening. He was just surprised that he walked in on Nam-gyu being in such a state.
“Am I interrupting something?” Thanos joked while walking over to Nam-gyu, who just kept staring at him. He was too far in his headspace to fully understand what was happening, all he knew was that Thanos was there for some reason. He wasn’t able to comprehend that Thanos now knew about something he wasn’t supposed to know.
“Hi!” Thanos smiled as he knelt down in front of Nam-gyu and waved at him. Still, Nam-gyu continued to just stare with the most confused expression on his face. “Can you talk at all, buddy?” Thanos questioned, but Nam-gyu only stayed silent. “Do you understand what I’m saying?” Nam-gyu took a moment to answer, before he eventually nodded his head.
“Okay good!” Thanos laughed a little and gently ruffled Nam-gyu’s hair, making the shorter man giggle. “Can you tell me how old you are, bud? Do you know?” Nam-gyu let out another tiny giggle, then proudly held up two fingers, clearly becoming more comfortable with the fact that Thanos was there.
“Oh wow! You’re a just a teeny, tiny, little guy, aren’t you?” Thanos teased. Nam-gyu squirmed around in his spot a little, smiling while nodding his head again. He always did want someone to be around when he’d regress, but he was too nervous to tell anyone about his coping mechanism. So, he was just so excited over the fact that Thanos was talking to him and being so friendly with him.
Thanos looked around the area, at all the toys Nam-gyu had lying around. He picked up one and showed it to Nam-gyu, whose eyes immediately went wide with curiosity, since he didn’t know what Thanos was going to do.
“Who’s this?” Thanos asked, holding a light gray cat stuffed animal. Nam-gyu was quiet and stared at Thanos. He had a hard time speaking, he always did when he’d regress, no matter what age he was at. Though, since he was towards the younger side, Nam-gyu couldn’t really speak at all, so instead of responding with words, he let out a small squeak and pointed at the toy.
Thanos couldn’t help but laugh. “I think that answers my question from earlier.” He said. “You can’t speak, huh?” Nam-gyu shook his head, but still with his best efforts, he tried to talk. Sadly for him, he was unable to do so, causing him to pout and whine out of frustration.
“It’s okay, little man. You don’t have to force yourself to try and talk.” Thanos told him. “I understand it’s hard. You can just tell me your kitty’s name later.” He said. Nam-gyu gave a small smile in return. He wasn’t used to someone being so caring and understanding towards him while he was little, but he really did enjoy it.
Thanos set the stuffed animal down, then had his attention on one of the toy cars Nam-gyu had. He pressed two of his fingers down on the car and pushed it over to Nam-gyu.
“Vroom!” Thanos exclaimed as he continued to push the car around. Nam-gyu watched him do so while he also made sound effects, which only caused Nam-gyu to burst out into a fit of giggles. He got one of the other cars, and pushed it over to the car Thanos had, crashing it into his.
“Oh no!” Thanos spoke dramatically. “The cars crashed! What are we going to do, Nam-gyu?” Thanos questioned. Nam-gyu only giggled and kept bumping his car into the car Thanos had. “Is that what we need to do? We need to keep bumping them into each other?” Nam-gyu nodded, before ramming the toy car into the other as hard as he could, causing it to fling out of Thanos’s hand.
Nam-gyu’s eyes widened a bit, since he hadn’t meant to do that, but Thanos started to laugh a little while going to retrieve it. The two continued to play with the cars for a little bit, then eventually switched over to playing with stuffed animals, as that’s what Nam-gyu wanted to do. Though, after some time, Nam-gyu started to yawn and rub his eyes.
“Are you sleepy, little man?” Nam-gyu nodded his head and reached out for Thanos, which he couldn’t help but smile at. “Aww! Come here!” Thanos stood up from the floor, then picked up Nam-gyu, who instantly made himself comfortable in his arms.
Before taking him back to his room, Thanos decided to grab the cat stuffed animal he had earlier and a blanket he saw, that had been lying next to Nam-gyu the whole time. He figured Nam-gyu would want the items to nap with.
Once he had the items, Thanos carried Nam-gyu back to his bedroom. When Thanos attempted to put him in his bed, Nam-gyu whined and clung to him.
“Oh, it’s alright, buddy.” Thanos placed the items he had in his hand on the bed, then began to gently pat Nam-gyu on the back. “I’ll be here the whole time. You just need to take a nap, okay?” Thanos told him while trying to lay him down in his bed, which this time he succeeded in. Thanos handed Nam-gyu his blanket and stuffed animal, then began to play with his hair a little.
“I’ll be out in the living room when you wake up.” Thanos said. “You’re such a tiny guy, I don’t know how you’ve managed to take care of yourself all on your own.” He teased as he rubbed Nam-gyu’s cheek with his finger. Nam-gyu let out a small giggle, before quickly hiding his face in his blanket, making Thanos laugh a bit.
“Alright, alright. I’ll leave you alone.” Thanos spoke. “Sweet dreams, little man.” Thanos lightly patted Nam-gyu on the shoulder a couple times, then left the room, turning the lights off and closing the door behind him.
Out of boredom, Thanos decided to clean up all the toys that were scattered around the living room. Once that was done, he changed the channel on the tv and put on something he wanted to watch, then laid down on the couch.
It had been almost two hours that passed and Thanos was beginning to doze off on the couch. Though, before he could actually fall asleep, he was startled by a sudden, surprised gasp.
“What the hell are you doing here?!” Thanos sat up on the couch and saw Nam-gyu, who had a shocked expression on his face. Obviously, he was out of his regressed headspace and back into his regular one.
“Well, I came by to surprise you, but when I got here you were playing with toys and watching cartoons. I didn’t think I should leave you alone, so I stayed here with you.” Thanos explained. By the end of his sentence, Nam-gyu looked completely mortified. He thought Thanos being there with him was a weird dream he had, not something that actually happened.
“You don’t have to be embarrassed.” Thanos said when he saw Nam-gyu’s facial expression. “I’m not judging you for it or anything. I won’t tell anyone about it.” Thanos spoke as he stood up from the couch and walked over to Nam-gyu, who couldn’t even make eye contact with him.
“You should’ve just left. You shouldn’t have had to deal with me when I’m like that.” Nam-gyu mumbled. “You know, I didn’t mind taking care of you. I actually found it to be enjoyable.” Thanos admitted. Nam-gyu looked at him with a bit of surprise.
“You don’t have to agree to it, but whenever you regress, you can call me. I’ll come over and help you out.” Thanos told him. “You’d really do that for me? Seriously?” Thanos nodded. “Yeah anytime! Even if it’s the middle of the night or I’m busy, I’ll still come over.” He responded, causing Nam-gyu to smile a little.
“Thanks, Thanos. I..appreciate it.” He said, still a bit embarrassed but definitely not as much. Maybe Thanos knowing about his regression wasn’t as bad as he thought. Maybe Nam-gyu actually found someone who could help him and be a caregiver for him whenever he’d regress.

“Honestly I never thought we’d get here. No really, anyone who knows Bradley knows he isn’t the Casanova he likes to think he is. How you roped her into marrying your dumb ass is a miracle in my book. I love you both and I’m so glad you are taking over my job of keeping him alive; good luck girl it’s a tough gig!”
Iconic speech 😂👏🏻
Everyone is nearly in tears from laughter as Bradley rolls his eyes and shakes his head with a chuckle. Choosing Natasha Trace to be his best (wo)man was a no-brainer until he realized she was going to get to give a speech, or as she called it “her roasting of the chicken boy”. Honestly he thought she’d be more ruthless but blessedly she had been kind because it was after all his wedding day. She wasn’t wrong though;
Haha I love Nats speech, I just know it was probably longer and just as good and entertaining as this part 👏🏻
Bradley had been polite as always, sending all of them packing and letting them know he was taken, but by the time he’d sat himself at the piano to sing he had gathered himself quite a fan club of single girls, and you didn’t have the patience to look at it anymore.
Past/pre-relationship Bradley would have LOVED this, I mean we have all seen him walk into that bar 😅
The two of you stayed like that for a while, locked in an embrace as he kissed you breathless, you were sure this was the kind of kiss that caused women to swoon in old movies, drunk on the feeling of his body pressed to yours making you weak in the knees. When he finally pulled away from you a whine breached your throat and he chuckled as he tucked your hair behind your ear.
🤭🤭🤭
“I want you to hear me when I say this sweetheart, and really take it to heart ok? There’s nothing I want more in this world than you. Not flying, not another woman, not a single thing could matter more to me than you. You’re my first thought when I open my eyes and every night I’m honored to be the one to hold you when you finally find rest. I will always choose you, and if I’ve ever made you question that I will do anything to make it right. I want you forever. I want to have a house full of feral children that look like you that I coach softball for on the weekends, I want to take care of you when you’re sick and think you’re gross, I want to sit on our porch 50 years from now and watch the sun go down on a perfect life we’ve made, hell baby I want to pass first because I don’t know that I could go on another day if you weren’t here. That’s how much you mean to me, and if you’ll say yes I’ll love you until the day I die.”
🥰🥰🥰
You were fully ugly crying in his arms as he pulled a beautiful ring and slid it on your finger, nodding furiously before you pulled his face to yours.
To that speech? Valid reaction
“You’re the one who couldn’t keep it in his pants until we made it to the honeymoon suite Mr. Bradshaw” he didn’t deny it, he just couldn’t help himself with how beautiful you looked, it would be a crime to wait 2 more hours before he could fuck his wife.
🤭🤭🤭
“Thought you said you needed to fuck me Bradley? We don’t have all night, give it to me baby boy.” He couldn’t push his clothes off fast enough, sliding your underwear to the side as he slammed into you mercilessly. Sweet saccharine moans fell from your lips and he brought you to your high, your nails clawing at his back as he sucked a dark mark behind your ear. It didn’t take much more for you both to topple over the edge, a mess of sweaty limbs tangled together as you reached euphoria. Giggles and soft kisses followed as you tried to piece each others outfits back together, startling at a loud knock rapping the old wooden door.
Just a quick teaser of the wedding night 🤭
“Ok sluts, you can make a baby another time! Everyone is looking for the happy couple and we know what y’all are getting up to! Wrap it up and come join the party!” Natasha cackles as she hears you two shuffling behind the door, hastily stepping out with tousled hair and kiss swollen lips. “Can you blame me Phoenix? She’s perfection.”
Hahaha this is perfect, I love how nonchalant Phoenix is about it 😂
My Forever Valentine- Bradley Bradshaw x reader
A/N- happy belated valentines my angels! This is just a little something I’ve been working on for @roosterforme, hope you all love it!
Pairing- Bradley Bradshaw x female reader
Warnings- a little angst, a little smut, language.

Choosing Natasha Trace to be his best (wo)man was a no-brainer until he realized she was going to get to give a speech, or as she called it “her roasting of the chicken boy”. Honestly he thought she’d be more ruthless but blessedly she had been kind because it was after all his wedding day. She wasn’t wrong though; it really was a miracle he’d managed to not only find you but also convince you he was the man you should spend the rest of your life with. He’d been full of anger for years over Mav pulling his papers, despite the fact that he’d made it in the navy and been incredibly successful in his career. You’d seen right through his carefree aloha persona, broke down his walls and finally got him to self reflect and realize that the past wasn’t who he was; he’d made it through hell despite the roadblocks and that was what he should focus on instead. He had been stubborn, trying his damndest to push you away when you pushed him to make amends and heal, but you’d stayed. You’d made him better, made his life have meaning, and now he would spend the rest of his life showing you how much you meant to him and making a beautiful life for you.
He remembered the day he met you vividly. You’d been out at the hard deck with a group of friends, it shouldn’t have been any different than any other night out but when he heard your laugh and saw your face he knew. It was like everything in his life had come into focus and he couldn’t stop himself from getting up mid conversation to cross the bar and talk to you. You’d been watching him too, the easy carefree way he seemed to move through the crowd was mesmerizing and the two of you had hit it off like a house on fire. You both fell in love hard and fast, but it hadn’t been without its struggles. Bradley’s line of work was extremely taxing, gone for weeks- sometimes months a time with little to no contact. You’d been lonely but he’d been worth every minute apart, and when he made it back to you after a particularly difficult mission a misunderstanding had nearly torn you both apart.
It had been a non-stop carousel of tag chasers from the minute he’d entered his beloved bar, the squad had demanded they throw him a welcome home party for the ages but you’d never thought it would be a wall to wall frat party. Women staring for a little too long, buying him drinks, at one point some girl actually tried to kiss him! Bradley had been polite as always, sending all of them packing and letting them know he was taken, but by the time he’d sat himself at the piano to sing he had gathered himself quite a fan club of single girls, and you didn’t have the patience to look at it anymore. Especially when one of those girls was his ex, she just never quite seemed to understand the word no, and forget about the notion that he had moved on; she didn’t believe for one second that anyone would turn his head from her and despite being the one that left him she just wouldn’t let an opportunity pass to get him back out of her grasp. You knew his heart, and that he had professed that you were his future, but it wasn’t enough. Not when these girls didn’t seem to get his polite hints and kept coming back for more. You knew he liked the attention and that was the worst part; he could tell you all day long that he wanted a family with you but when you took a backseat to his fan club you couldn’t help but convince yourself that he was all talk and nothing more.
“Baby, come on you know it’s not like that! I don’t want anyone but you! Just come back inside, we’ll play some pool with Phoenix and Coyote and then we can head home, just us. I don’t want you going home by yourself.” He pouted and tried to pull you close and damn it you almost let him, but the gnawing feeling of inadequacy wouldn’t let you give in.
You nearly walked away that night, but he wouldn’t have it. If he was going to lose you it wouldn’t be over some stupid girl in a bar, the two of you were meant to be and he was ready to put his heart on the line. He grabbed your hand and pulled you into his arms, you wiggled in his hold but he didn’t budge; tilting your chin up to look at him as he leaned in close to place a searing kiss to your lips. He felt your body go lax in his arms, sighing into his mouth as he ran his tongue along the seam of your lips.
“I want you to hear me when I say this sweetheart, and really take it to heart ok? There’s nothing I want more in this world than you. That’s how much you mean to me, and if you’ll say yes I’ll love you until the day I die.”
You were fully ugly crying in his arms as he pulled a beautiful ring and slid it on your finger, nodding furiously before you pulled his face to yours.
Now in the fading sunset he watched you dancing along to the band, the quiet beach wedding had been everything you both dreamed it would be, surrounded by loved ones and Bradley can’t help but feel overwhelmed by it all. You were everything he’d ever dreamed up but somehow better, the figment in his mind could never come close to the real thing. His hands itched to hold you, need flooding his senses as he crossed the makeshift dance floor to sweep you into his embrace. You grinned up at him and he melted a little more inside, he peppered your face with kisses as your laughter rang out against the crashing of the waves. “I need to monopolize the bride for a little while, think you could find a way for us to escape for a bit?” He whispered in your ear and you couldn’t help but laugh until you felt him pressing against the satiny fabric of your gown. He swallowed the moan that escapes your lips, it was entirely indecent the way you two were pressed together in this public of a setting but he couldn’t bring himself to care. You were his wife, his wife. Surely he could be excused for his behavior just this once right? He turned you in his arms and began guiding you towards the beloved bar where the two of you first met. Penny was bringing out more champagne as you burst in the door, a chuckle and shake of her head as the two of you nearly collided with her. “No breaking anything in my bar, I’ll keep everyone out of your hair for a few minutes.” Bradley nodded with wide eyes as you erupted in laughter, ushering you towards the stock room with a playful slap to your ass as you tried to catch your breath between giggle fits.
“You’re trouble, you know that?” He said as he placed you on top of the massive deep freeze in the corner of the stock room, mascara was smudging the corners of your eyes from the tears brought on by your glee at getting caught, eyes shining with anticipation at what was to come. “You’re the one who couldn’t keep it in his pants until we made it to the honeymoon suite Mr. Bradshaw” he didn’t deny it, he just couldn’t help himself with how beautiful you looked, it would be a crime to wait 2 more hours before he could fuck his wife.
“You know, you’re my wife now. Mrs. Bradshaw.” He was running his lips and mustache along your cleavage, the sensation sent a shiver up your spine, along with his declaration. “Oh god- we really are married now aren’t we?” You panted as he hiked your dress up above your thighs, running a long finger up the seam of your barely there underwear, reveling in the look on your face as you sucked in a sharp gasp. He couldn’t help but kiss you, licking into your mouth as he continued to rub circles against your covered clit. You were trembling in his hold, whining and bucking into his hand and he knew exactly what he was doing to you. Tease. Two could play that game. Sliding your palms down his shirt jacket you made quick work of unbuttoning his dress pants, slipping your hand down into his briefs to grasp his cock. He hissed into the open air, knowing you had the upper hand now.
She’s perfection.” Bradley says with a laugh as you all step back out into the party, a roar of cheers and whoops echoing out as you do. This was just the beginning of a lifetime of memories, and Bradley couldn’t wait to spend them all with you.
