NEW KAIJU OC?!?!

Well, yea technically. Basically i was interested in figuring out how id go with making my own kaiju. At first i wasnt sure where to go for designing one. So i chose to base it off another existing kaiju for inspiration. I kinda wanted to go for a dragon type kaiju (i like dragons) and the only thing i could think of was Ghidorah so i went with that (now that i think about it more, I could’ve maybe used Manda too prob but oh well, Ghidorah was still a good option). I added some different details to mine that make it unique to the og Ghidorah

My idea was that it could potentially be a relative to Ghidorah (being of the same species) but still far apart from one another to the point they arent all that aware of the other existing (theyre in for a shock when & if they do encounter each other lol). This version actually relies on cosmic energy derived from such sources like stars & generally anything that produce some form of energy within the vast universe (basing it off how Ghidorah themselves originally came from space & this variant being much more dependent on that factor). It stores that energy & relatively stays in a dormant stage for an extended period of time until when faced with the challenge to defend itself or fight off those it deems as a danger. Then it would release all that ginormous amount of space energy that manifests itself as a rapidly expanding glow of extremely bright light. Enough to cause extreme damage & bring down the opposition. It can gather energy by using special crystals it can grow (took that also as inspiration but from Space Godzilla) & become as some form of attracting & absorbing the energy. In a way, the energy is like its main source of food & energy to maintain itself (right after releasing a lot of it during its final attack of using that glow, it would be put in a highly vulnerable state if not recovered by regaining some energy back soon enough). For the most part, they mostly sleep (being lazy 24/7 just like me fr lmao) to keep all that energy but can be potentially dangerous if disturbed or provoked in some manner

(Yea i know im the most creative person out there. I combined another nickname i use for myself and just added the end part of Ghidorah’s name to make it clear it’s related to the other kaiju. I couldn’t think of anything else im sorry😭)

Did i mention this kaiju can also technically sing too :)

I did have a lot of fun with coming up with the concept for them (tho it honestly took longer in designing them due to a busy schedule ive been put in as of late & finding the time to finish it) but im glad to finally be able to share this with you all. Hopefully I can share more about them soon (i have a whole google doc’s worth of lore lmao) & probably draw them again (tho maybe a lot more simplified by then). Didn’t wanna overwhelm ppl with the huge amount of info so I’ll prob slowly reveal more over time.

the clinic yesterday was nice. they were kind and tried to be mindful, were careful of pronouns, etc.

But there's a few things that, after reflecting and discussing with Housemate, that are bothering me to the point that I don't see any point in continuing care with them, and I'm actually kind of upset and feel misled by them (tho I do not believe they did this intentionally or maliciously, I think they just... don't actually know how to navigate what they're trying to do here.)

Let's play a fun game with these things bc I'm feeling petty and irritated and am sick from my vaccine update at the appt yesterday which also has me in a shit mood:

Q. They stated during my intake/scheduling call that nearly all of their doctors had extensive experience in treating trans patients and managing hormones. Is this true, or false?

A. FALSE. per my meant to be primary care doc, they've only started training to treat trans patients as of THIS FUCKING MONTH. Also per my doc, I'm one of their first outwardly trans patients, so could i keep giving them feedback on how they're doing and if my care needs are being met? Aka will i agree to be their guinea pig while they fumble trying to figure out what to do with me, like my poor (actually decent and v open abt how she was still learning) doc in ND had me do. I didn't mind it there, bc she was the only doc in the area who treated trans ppl and rx'd hormones. Here in CT, however, where there are at least three clinic options that I know of for the care I need, I'm not fucking willing to do that again.

Q. During aforementioned scheduling call, i was told that my new primary doc with them both could and would rx me my T and any other prescriptions including my Lamotrigine. Is this true, or false?

A. FALSE. again, the doc was v sweet. I would recommend her for anyone cis who needs a new primary care doc. However, for me, she promptly told me she knew nothing abt hormones or hormone treatment for trans or cis ppl in need of it, and that if i want their clinic to rx that for me, I need to see their endocrinology team. If there was an emergency and I needed that refilled asap, she said she would do that. Otherwise, I'd have to follow the extremely outdated care plan of seeing an endo and trying to coordinate their care plans for me with her primary care plans. She also kept repeatedly asking if, despite my explaining my ongoing issues with Pl. Pa, if I would consider just going back to them for this and the majority of the rest of my care. But she's happy to do a physical for me every year! 🫠

Q. During said call, and again, I need to stress the very kind receptionist who answered stepped away REPEATEDLY to make sure he was giving me accurate info on all of this, I was told my new doc would and could rx my Lamotrigine for me. I bet you already know, but...true or false?

A. FALSE. she would refill it in an emergency, but otherwise I need the referral she already made for me to their mental health team, where she wants me meeting with their one (1) psychologist, a therapist, and a special gender therapy specialist, before my rx could be continued. She also wants me on something in addition to the Lamotrigine bc 'no one on it is ever JUST on that, it's odd that you are.'

Q. I asked her during the appt abt getting on birth control (just to be safe) and how I'm only comfortable with the pill or Depo. I don't trust Nexplanon, IUDs, and especially not the implantation methods personally (tho for the folks who they work best for, more power to you to use them of course.) She said she could check with the endo team and find out what pill options would work with my T. So. Is it true or false that she's going to rx me any form of birth control?

A. FUCKING FALSE!! as everything else has fucking been!! She sent me a message today admitting that, when she checked with the endo team, they 'weren't really well versed in birth control options for trans men' but recommended the IUD only. My doc added on that she'd be happy to 'take a guess' at what pills wouldn't interact with my T/hormone levels and send an rx, but that she'd really prefer I just got the IUD. I sent back a polite, but admittedly short method that she could just forget it, and I'd worry abt my birth control options at a later date (bc fuck trying to figure it out for them, after I already admitted at the appt that my research on potential options had left me unsure of what pill to try, and that was WHY i was asking a fucking doctor abt it!!!!)

Ending the game here, but she also insisted on ordering referrals to the endo and their mental health team (and i agreed bc im a doormat who just nods along to end a situation that's going poorly for me as quickly as possible), as well as multiple blood draw panels (some I do genuinely want done, like STI testing and of course my usual T related bloodwork. The rest, however, she didn't seem entirely sure would be necessary or useful but thought i probably 'could fill all those vials in one session 😁' said after i had already told her im a poor draw who struggles with labs already. She also sort of glossed over/ignored most of my phobias/mistrust re: medical care and made it seem like it would just go away so long as I agreed to and did every test/panel/etc that they recommended. Her (probably unconsciously) talking down/babyish to me after I revealed my austism dx also has me pissed beyond belief, but almost everyone fucking does it to me so who fucking cares i guess. And believe it or not, after yesterday's appt, I now feel even less trustful of docs, and if I didn't need to see someone for my T and Lamotrigine, I probably wouldn't see one again any time soon!!!

Again. they're all nice ppl. clinic is clean and otherwise well put together. but once again, I'm left to mostly figure out my own care, or trust their outdated (by a lot per Housemate, ae was furious they were insisting on an endo when apparently most docs won't ask for that unless an issue arises with your labs or something like that) trans care plans.

I cried yesterday multiple times over this. If i didn't feel like shit from the updated Tdap side effects and wasn't currently so angry abt all of this that I'm damn near steaming from how I'm fuming over all of this, I'd be crying again. Please cross your fingers for me this other clinic will agree to take me asap. bc if not, im gonna fuckin lose it lmao*

*wherein lmao means i just want a doc that listens to me, works with me re: my med trauma so i can catch up on tests/etc without having meltdowns so bad i then put off care, and won't talk to me like I'm a child just bc I'm autistic.

His wings!!!! I changed them(I made a post before about it but ima talk about it more) before this they were HUGE and I Hated having to draw them because they took up THE ENTIRE IMAGE!!!! and I hate doing fullbodys like that, So I changed it so unless he's forced to fly with them, they're tinier :D He can still glide with the smaller pair(Like with an Elytra) but he has to use rockets with them(LIKE AN ELYTRA!!!! O: )

In my AU Grian was born as a goose hybrid(lol) but because of Watcher stuff he can shift his Wings into other types of Creature's Wings <3 He normally keeps them Parrot wings tho :]

In my old design he had these Metal Claw things on his hands to imitate actual bird claws but they were really complicated and I hated drawing them so I changed them to actual claw-like nails, Because he's a bird so I let him have bird claws :] (I imagine that when Fighting without a Weapon he uses his Claws alot cause they are Sharp :3 )

His Shoes(Boots?) have metal on the tip(?) that are just slightly shaped like claws. On the old design the claws were Much more prominent but I decided I didn't really like em so now they're kinda more of a paw-like Indent? idk :P Also I might not have this in the future but on the Backs of his Boots there are a Moon and a Star, I didn't draw em cause I was lazy lol

He has those goggles for a couple different reasons!!!!

At first I saw the designs of other Grians with I think flight goggles on and I liked them so I decided I would put them on Grian but then I paired that with the watcher headcanon so basically Grian wears tech-infused goggles because his eyes are very clearly watcher eyes(They have the symbol in them, bright purple, etc etc) and he hates them so He covered them up (They were normal goggles at first but the hermits were having a hard time with not being able to see his eyes so Doc decided to make them have some sort of tech/Redstone in them so they match his actual eyes :D )

Also the Watchers... are... bad... people(they aren't really people???) in my AU... um kinda... evil-esc. Aka Grian is a Half-Baked Watcher :')

He's Immortal and has slight watcher powers but not many.

WIP WEDNESDAY - 21/06/23

(I mean it’s technically Friday now between timezones and spoons but have this otherwise I’ll keep forgetting) My first WIP Wednesday! Thanks @theviridianbunny​ for the tag! I’ve been really getting stuck into modding - as well as falling into my usual mod habit of ‘start like six project at once and end up with a million WIP files' but I guess I’ll talk about the major ones.

(Long) rambling about mods I'm making + things I've learned below the cut~

My V’s tatt project is still ongoing, and I’ve (somewhat begrudgingly) been trying out Substance Painter to work on bits of it, mainly polishing seams between UV maps. It’s definitely got a lot of benefits, especially for graphic placement in really tricky areas (like anywhere in the entire head mesh region for example) but I still think a lot of the heavy work will still be done in Photoshop so I’ll probably be writing up both experiences with them when I do that tutorial I keep hinting at for complex tatt work. I’ve started drafting a tumblr tutorial but I wonder if that’s the best format, maybe a PDF? Google doc? Github wikis look cool? (tho I think I need to pay for that) - if y’all got suggestions for tutorial formats pls let me know!

As for the other arguably overly-ambitious-project-where-I-bit-off-more-than-I-could-chew ...

Hair has been the bane of my existence for about the past week( ... weeks? Maybe two?), most of it involving cursing, a lot of reverse-engineering game meshes and smashing my head against blender. But if not already evident from my monowire post - I am a stubborn bitch with too much time on my hands so even though there were at least two moments where I wanted to curl up on the floor under my desk and just stay there - we got there.

This all started because my favourite hair mod which I cannot split from my V’s identity was acting funky and the shape of it had been altered since a physics update. It wasn’t her anymore. So I needed new hair. I tried editing the existing hair. I tried importing the old hair mesh. I tried so many things and they didn’t work out one way or they threw a million errors or there were an obnoxious amount of verts.

I even tried looking for replacement mod hair. None of them fit, all of them felt too ‘clean’ for my V. So I just concluded: FINE. I’ll make my own damn hair. From scratch. At least then I’ll actually KNOW what’s going on with the mesh, right?

Problem with hair is tutorials are very limited in respect to Cyberpunk, so I had to learn a lot of this by myself and looking at other processes used for building game hair. I’ve had a previous stint in game design at uni but it was very introductory and more broad-strokes concepts not specific stuff like what ‘real time hair’ is and how you actually go about placing hair-cards (there’s a million different ways btw) but after another 3 days smashing my head against blender I finally got shit to work to a satisfactory level using hair tools for blender and the particle hair grooming system (not the 3.5 blender system, maybe more on that at some point).

Putting together the hair cards I was 120% convinced this was going to blow up in my face, primarily through vert count. But this hair tool plugin? Alarmingly efficient. I was frequently checking my work against Alt's hair mesh (one I was planning on rigging to) and here's the final-ish stats -

This is with only Alt's hair mesh selected (no cap) and then only my mesh(s - lots of layering to build it up), and by comparison I felt I'd built up the density of a chinchilla. This is not a brag, this is mostly genuine confusion over how efficient this plugin is, all I did was smack around hair curves. It did all the UV mapping junk on the fly.

Although structurally complete, I still consider this a WIP (yes I know there's a reeeeal fun vert funkiness in that second render, it's been fixed) since I'm having to go back and fine-tune some of the UV's the plugins mapped that I'm not happy with and generally figuring out my density problem because if anything, after putting it in-game it felt too dense.

Because yes, somehow I got it in game.

WITH. PHYSICS.

This may have driven me absolutely up the wall between having to learn blender from scratch then what the heck real time hair is and how that works etc. etc. but ... god, seeing her move back from the mirror and just feeling that instant catharsis of 'IT'S HER!' made it so. Damn. Worth it.

It looks too thick - this might be because I chucked in the 'doubled' feature Wolvenkit comes with because I hadn't spent any time doing backfaces. But it also might be because it's black? That's going to need investigating.

The physics need a lot of work too, I did a pretty rushed weight painting job last night on a merged version of the mesh because I was worried whether it was even viable and I'd already dumped an insane amount of hours into this between trying to salvage the old hair and building a new one (with some more bells and whistles. Mainly - curly). That wasn't without it's issues -

This almost fucking cracked me, given this was one of the issues I was experiencing before trying to fix an existing mesh mod. Turns out I was just being dumb and forgetting to export the armature, which I'd thought I wasn't supposed to do after having blender throw a bunch of errors on other hair attempts. I gave it a try after one last shot and boom. Worked. (I dunno what those errors were about man but now I know armature? very important).

Will I release this hair? no damn clue, depends on if I can get it to a level I feel is 'releasable'. I already know what I'm calling it though - Venatrix her side-handle I've decided on.

I look forward to adapting it into maybe a comb-back version, as well as a tied up version, so I can show off both her undercut + have the option of NOT hiding every damn tatt I've obsessed over placing on her neck haha.

In other news -

My much-needed wacom tablet replacement arrived (as well as other things I was looking forward to 👀) meaning my Wacom Cintiq, workhorse of ten years can finally enjoy her retirement. Her controls were getting funky, she had a few dead pixels but man. I'm convinced they won't make them like her ever again. Either way she's done unfortunately - upgrading my monitor to 2k made this painfully obvious. I don't think it's even running in full HD, it's that old. And with Phantom Liberty coming out this year? I'm probably going to need a new videocard and DVI compatibility isn't really a thing anymore.

So for future I think I'll just stick to the basic tablet set up, invest in screens. Also now I FINALLY know what her hair is gonna look like and with the tablet here, I can get back to work on the tattoo bodysuit.

Anyways, that's it for now! (Jesus Christ did you really read all of this? If you did you're a fucking trooper). Sorry for the extended ramble but MAN I did a lot, I needed to yell.

Hi hello I saw your ask where you showed Inky your printed copy of DWM and I need to know how you did that n o w. I want to do this for both my own fics and my fave ones by other authors. Obviously I have to finish writing my fics first but this is very motivating.

How I printed DWM

just a warning, this is gonna be kinda long

Well, the first thing I did was transfer the fic itself onto an a5 word document! (a google doc would work as well; pretty much anything that you can write on that can be set to a5, or a custom paper size if you want)

Then after copy-pasting the entire fic, I set the margins to 20mm for the top and both sides, and 25mm on the bottom, then added a page number at the bottom using the add page numbers feature. (You can manually type them if you really want to, but DWM was 599 pages long soooo)

I used the font Garamond set on size 11.5, with the chapter headings being size 12 btw

Then I scrolled through the whole document to check for any spacing errors. I also moved the start of every chapter onto a new page (just pressed enter a bunch until it moved down onto a new page-)

After that, I found some art that I would like to use for the cover page, then put text onto that art using a website called Canva (I’m Australian, and this website may not be available to you. Some alternatives are: Procreate, Photoshop, Ibis Paint, or literally anything that you can use to add text on top of an image that can be set to a5, or your chosen page size; make sure that the covers are the same size as the actual pages with the writing on them)

Then I designed the covers, and put the fanfic description on the back to use as the blurb.

I downloaded the covers next and put them at the start and end of the word doc with the actual fanfic on it. Some printing companies may not want the covers as a part of the main document tho so keep that in mind.

Then I created the spine, but I had no idea of the width needed, since I didn't know how thick 599 pages would be. (The website/company I used to print it out automatically sized the spine to be the right width-)

I also wrote out a disclaimer for the publishing/copyright page, but it's not necessary at all, I just didn't exactly feel like getting sued.

Then after I finished allll of that, I found a website/company that would print it out for me, called ePrint Online, but thats an Australian website so it may not ship to where you are? I'm sure there are alternatives to the website in your country tho. (unless you're an Australian)

If you want to, you can print and bind the book yourself, but the spine may not be perfect.

TLDR; I copy pasted the fic onto an a5 word doc then designed covers then used a printing website to print it out :)

Changing it while keeping Rando Vibes is the toughest thing. But here are those sketches:

I really like the idea of him being HUGE and gentle but prone to emotional outbursts. The main thing was figuring out if I should keep the mask on him or show his face. This got me thinking tho and I just whipped up a new design sketch that mixes both his face and the skull mask design:

Well now, I know there's like tons of them out there in the market. A lot of them are good! And even free (or have pretty good free versions)! A reddit thread I found have a few very good ones, you guys can check it out! (I'll add my own two cents later :3)

But look, the only thing I want to do, is to have a place when I can throw my ideas into a list (like what I'm did in my notes app) then auto convert it to a document when I feel like I want to write it. None of them (or at least, what I saw/found) have it!

To do that, I set up a Google Form-Google Sheets system so I can just fill in the form when I get some thoughts™. Then when I feel like I want to add another WIP to my ever-growing list of WIPs, I'll just open the associated sheet, see what idea I would like to write, then create a Google Docs and copy/paste the idea there.

Easy, right? Problem solved?

No, not really. For me, there're a few problems with this.

The Problem(s)™

The process of opening Google Forms takes forever to load (depending on my Internet) and I have a goldfish memory. What are the odds that I forget my ideas by then.

(Just use phone notes app then) But I'm in the mood to type my fic in a computer 😔😔 I don't wanna copy my prompt there to a doc via phone, or worse, retype it out. There's like 4 steps there at least! I'll lose my motivation by then!

Google Sheets has this problem where the text refuses to wrap properly if you add a long text (my ideas are sometimes a few hundred words of rambling y'know). So whenever I decided to grace the sheet with my presence, I'll need to reformat the wrap if I wanna read what I wrote. That's 1 whole extra step.

I'll need to open at least two tabs here, 1. my sheet file, 2. open a new docs file

Look, they're all pretty minor inconveniences imo, but I'm 1. a lazy mf and 2. a tired mf

So, I made a decision any sane person with a job and 0-energy would do - I thought "Hey, why don't I make my own?".

Ok, look I'm not that good at UX/UI designing. I figure that should be the first step so I went and watch a few video and stumbled upon Juxtopposed's world's shortest UI/UX design course (it's pretty great, do check it out!). Simple, quick, concise - perfect.

First, I started with designing the user flow. I planned out a general idea of what I want my app to do and how it would flow from there starting from the landing all the way to when users save their work and exit the app.

Boy, I sure hope I did that correctly.

This generally is made up of user actions (except for landing). You may notice how it's mostly AO3 focused because yes, I'm using this just for AO3 - as in I stopped using fanfiction.net, Wattpad and Quotev a long time ago.

I did get some inspirations for some of the features from other existing apps. Like:

Scriever - it's paid, but most people say it's a godsend but personally, I've never tried it. I think it pioneered the scenes idea tho.

Manuskript - Free open-sourced version of Scriever basically! They also have words and phrase frequency analyser and I think that's pretty neat!

MyStory.today - I like the idea that you can edit and view multiple scenes at once but the writing UI itself feels kinda clunky? It feels bothersome to add a new scene below my current one. But free version is enough and that's pretty nice. Oh yeah, not sure if it's just me, or it's kinda laggy

Wavemaker - ok this actually a great one! Everyone should give it a chance! But again, too complicated to just add one simple idea when I just wake up for instance.

Story Plotter - This one is nice. It actually have a idea to story button but, why are there... so many things... to choose before I can start writing the story. Granted, all of them are optional and you can just spam skip... a whole 7 times (unless it's a freeform, in that case, 4 times). But this provides a nice idea to combine more than 1 ideas into one plot tho. Also, not my style

Campfire - Is nice, there's so much things you can customize! But well, the free version can be quite limiting, like what if I need more than 25k words :(

Notion - Ok, here me out, it's not a great idea to write multi-chapters long fics here exactly without some amount of setting up too. BUT I love the markdown system here and I wanted to include it.

Do try some of them out, maybe you'll find your new writing app soulmate, who knows?

So... about the user flow diagram

I'm making this app because of two main features, ok maybe three, that I want to make my life easier and make me happier.

The ideas being converted and directly stored in my writing doc.

Being able to use markdowns to type unlike google docs *squint eyes*

Copying the whole chapter in HTML so I can just throw it in AO3 and click update without worrying about forgetting the formatting OR having to go to those docs to HTML converters.

And a secret fourth thing to maaaaaybe include things like chats, boxes, and other workskin related things

Oh, yes and how could I forgot, syncing progress across multiple devices

So I want to implement auto-save features (well, at least when you're connected to the internet, else it'll save locally first). The database I'm thinking to store these should be the user's own google drive (but that would required the user to sign in to their drive first).

Inversely, I'm thinking if the user did edit the doc in the drive, it should reflect in the app too, so I'll need to think about that. But the idea is that one chapter should be stored in one doc, and then separated by a scene separator symbol (I'll figure this out) to break it into scenes in the actual app. That may be a bit messy to edit in docs though so maybe a traditional folder + docs might suffice but then, there's also a space constraint, where there is too much scenes. That's probably where the web services come in.

Ok look, the user flow made perfect sense to me while I was making it. After looking at it again while writing this... In hindsight, I should also make a screen/page flow diagram, or sitemap, so here it is! So- ta-da~!

So this should be the whole flow of screens for the app. There may be more screens in the future but for now I think this should be it!

The app mainly just consist of -

The home page - which displays ALL your works/books

The ideas page - which is basically my notes app for, well, ideas, word vomit, random shower thoughts about how much you want a fictional character to be xxx

The writing page - which will be the main working space, the rest of the pages like references, characters, places, timeline, chapters and individual scenes can be accessed easily from this page too

The profile page - well, it's your profile! Access your profile settings, change themes, work space settings or what you want to copy in your html here - maybe add friends for collabs and betas in the future? We'll see

my over 70,000 word novel that i've written with one of my best friends

my skateboard, which i spent hours designing the back of, i used posca paint pens to create a comic strip design with a custom character i created!

one of my first and fav kpop album redesigns...i was so excited and happy w how it turned out!!

have you ever saved someone's life?

sort of, in a way. one of my old friends (she now goes to a new school and we don't talk as much anymore) had pots, which is an illness that causes unprovoked fainting/seizures. she would faint, and be unconcious for up to 20mins, and sometimes would have seizures after fainting. other times, she would have times where she would faint multiple times, but only be unconcious for less than a minute, but would faint frequently (maybe 5-10 in an hour). because she was in our class, i did feel a lot of responsibility for looking after her. the teachers knew to call the nurse and the ambulance during her long faints/seizures, and i would go with my friend to show the ambulance where to go. we got so used to running to the school office that i swear our cardio skills built up. we have dealt with one of her faints outside of school too though, without any adult support, which was much scarier, but we managed ok. so i think a bit?

again, cannot choose. my wardrobe is my baby; she is a collection that is never ending and eclectic and so, so me. she's what i spend most of my money on (other than kpop concerts) and i love her sm.

My favorite character definitely got to be: Kim (They/them)

They have definitely grown to be my favorite over the last few years. I never really had a main character that worked for the bad guy before, so it has just been a really new experience testing the water and growing as a writer. 

(quick backstory) Kim used to be a is currently working for the supervillain Vulcan as his top henchman Void. 

But before that they were a child hero sidekick (something that was legal at the time). After they ran away from home at 12, they got adopted by the villain Shadow Wraith. As an adult they worked with Shadows as his right hand, before out of nowhere betraying him and joining Vulcan.

Sadly their current boss is quite the “Wumper” to them at times. So it might make one wonder, why did they leave their father figure Shadows, for someone like Vulcan? 👀

Welp, at least one of the good things to come out of Kim working for Vulcan. Is that they got by far the coolest supersuit I have designed yet! (tho, it’s not really Kim’s style)

One of my favorite things is their superpowers “Aura blocking” or sometimes called “faux-invisibility” or even “Background character power”. Since everything in their world has an aura, and that aura is felt like any other senses. This means that Kim can block their aura from being felt by others. Something that doesn't make them unseeable but it makes them unnoticeable. You can look right at them, you just don’t notice that they are there.

Sadly, due to their childhood being well… bad, their power never fully developed right. So, now even as an adult they can’t always control their power especially if they are too afraid, or sometimes too calm. 

This does mean that if they get too scared in a dangerous situation they can end up both locking down mentally and hiding themself using their powers. And altho their enemy can’t find them, neither can their allies. Luckily it does need a lot for that to happen tho :3

OKAY ME TOO!! Easily top 3 best Eren concepts imo it’s just so good and so... him, he falls on the gamer himbo boyfriend side of the scale for sure

Let’s start with his setup: purple and/or green with a dark wood tabletop. He keeps the lights green during the day or when his computer is idle, and mixes in the purple when it’s dark out because he likes the Ambiance. 

Only one monitor and do not let him buy another one no matter how much he claims he needs it. He does not. He has a TV in his room tho, but it’s not mounted above or near his desk; it’s on the opposite wall that faces his bed. Laying down and watching Netflix takes priority.  

He’s a sucker for themed keyboards/keycaps. If he finds a set themed around his favorite show or a character he likes, he’ll buy it. No self control.

The majority of his keyboards have that super clacky almost officey sounding click to them, and he’s obsessed with it. Sometimes he fucks around on Google Docs typing nonsense just to hear the keyboard make noise.

Puts in special keycaps on the ones with your initials on whichever keyboard he’s using at the moment <3 gamer boyfriend things <33

Always swears he wants to do some kind of special event or thank you for subscriber/follower milestones, but he never catches his own milestones 😭😭 by the time he realizes he has 100k subs, he’s already on 103k or something 

Then he calls you, his friends, and his subscribers fake for not pointing it out to him like sir it’s right there on your screen please. All you had to do was LOOK

If he’s in the middle of a game and he really has a to pee, or he’s gotta go do something, he’ll yell for you, and you come in, obviously slightly worried, but then Eren is just hurriedly giving you instructions, “Here, press left or right to move, spacebar to fire, avoid these, kill those. That ugly look thing to the left is Jean, and over there is his character. You’re teammates, I’ll be right back,” before he puts his headphones on your head and runs off. Now you’re left to fend for yourself, good luck.

He can be gone anywhere from 30 seconds to 30 minutes 😭😭 if he’s gone for a short amount of time, he comes back with just as much chaotic energy to take back his headphones and shoo you away as he did to throw it all on you pls.

Other times, he’ll go and make a whole ass meal and come back sauntering in with a half eaten grilled cheese in hand, “Oh shit are you still playing, babe—hey you’re doing really well, look at you go!”

When you’re not there, he mentions you a lot, because he’s always thinking about you no matter how small it is; even just the design of a character would prompt him to a make a comment, “I don’t think my girlfriend has ever played this, but I know she’d main this character.” 

Does he invite you to play a game he knows you’ve never played or are bad at with him on his stream, knowing full well he’s an ace at it and will crush you publicly? Absolutely. Without a doubt. 

There’s always a very shameless, not at all subtle shoutout to his Instagram in the middle of all his streams please, he’ll be playing a game and randomly it’s like, “Fire pic on Instagam by the way, go like that.” 

His comments are pretty respectful whenever you’re there or he mentions you; there’s a few cheeky randoms who like to make donations whenever you’re on the screen or say some inappropriate stuff, but Eren’s learned to just ignore it. It doesn’t make him happy, and he might tell people to chill if it’s excessive, but he won’t call out anything explicitly and make you uncomfortable while you’re there. 

Sometimes Connie will make a comment about how you’re hot, and that’s definitely something Eren will call out and bring attention to, more so to mock Connie than anything. 

At one point, his subscribers keep asking for more content with you (especially if you’re not there often/it’s been a while since people have seen a peek of you), to which Eren will pout because, “Hey, this is my Twitch-- now, look, you’ve gotten your Eren’s hot girlfriend privileges revoked for the week.”

Terrible at doing unboxing videos whenever he gets sent product because he just rips things open 😭😭 he’s too eager to do ASMR or gentle/detailed unboxing, he just wants to test out the new parts as soon as possible. 

Abuses his spinny gamer chair. Spins himself dizzy on it (yes, while he’s streaming and waiting for lobbies/things to load), spins you dizzy on it when you’re just trying to be comfy, spins the both of you dizzy when he’s trapped you on his lap. 

He’d be one of those lucky people who gets a cool single name user/ID. Like he gets just @eren or @jaeger/yeager, because his name is pretty unique, but I can totally see him going the typical fun gamer tag route. 

His content is anything from him streaming Overwatch and COD to terraforming his Animal Crossing island, he does not discriminate. One day you could get Eren calling Jean a fucking dumbass for not healing him, and the next day he’s doing his best impressions of Timmy and Tommy.

Do not put it past him to build you a whole ass PC setup if you express the slightest interest in one, even if it’s not solely for gaming/you wanna use it for work/school. He’ll do it. He’ll make his hyperfixating work for him. 

Plus then he’d get to give you one of his old keyboards and give you special keycaps with his initials and go on about how he’s officially got a gamer gf even if all you can do is press the spacebar <33

Agatha found it cute how you kept trying to do magic, even if you were a simple (and beautiful) mortal. You would often ask her about it, and were always so eager to learn as much as you could (you were especially happy when she’d let you read some of her books, even if they were the simpler ones). She was so happy that you weren’t afraid of magic nor think she was evil or a monster. It was so hard to find someone who still believed in magic like you did. 

“Aggie!” you squealed “I did it!”

She laughed and turned to you. Sometimes, you’d come and show her one of those “tricks” humans called magic. You were so cute.

“Alright, buttercup, let’s see” she smiled. 

You smirked and closed your eyes. You lifted your fist to her face before you opened your eyes and slowly opened your hand. Agatha expected to find a card or a small gift, but a small butterfly flew around her. It was made of light and even if it was small, it was also the most beautiful thing she ever saw. 

You giggled when the butterfly landed on her nose before disappearing. She looked at you, shocked.

“I did it!” you squealed again and hugged her “I’m like you!”

Agatha hugged you and kissed your temple. No, you weren’t like her, you were something more. You were one of the few humans that still could control the most powerful magic of them all. The ordinary magic that flew around every living being but that just a few could see. Life itself.

Olivia Octavius:

Olivia knew that science is usually a hard thing for most people. Yes, there were a lot of renowned scientists in the world, but it wasn’t something every child dreamed of being. Even in Alchemax itself, it was hard for her to find someone who shared her interests and passion. It was like everyone there just wanted the payment (which was good, to be fair). 

So, the fact that you seemed to be so interested in it, was a gift. You weren’t necessarily good at it, but you had fun and were so cute, never giving up. She loved to watch you playing around her lab (but she always kept the dangerous things out of your hands), discovering your own things. You were always so happy when you could show her something you discovered on your own, no matter if it was simple and she already knew it.

What made her fall completely in love with you tho, was that you also shared Doc Ock’s interests. You were as devilish as her, and so much naughtier. Your “plans” were often so much better than hers and New York had to deal with the fact that sometimes Doc Ock won over spider-man, even if no one knew how.

“What are you working on, love?” she asked. 

You smirked as you showed her your new design. “I think Doc Ock could use a companion” you said.

Ursula Gernsback:

For Ursula, the fact that you were so interested in robots was both a blessing and a curse. You were always asking her questions about her and her programming and often asked for permission to look closer (which she gladly gave, in hopes to get more...intimate, but you never fell for it. You were just too innocent).

You’d spend hours playing with her buttons and cables (but nothing too important, you didn’t want to hurt her), and she didn’t mind sitting on a cold table for hours, as long as your hands were on her, she was fine with it. You were so tender with her, you touched her with so much love and veneration. As if she was the most precious thing ever.

But you were also oblivious af. No matter how much she tried to flirt with you, no matter how obvious she was, you just didn’t get it. Which means that it was a torture to have you so close and not being able to kiss you or hug you. 

“I like your eyes” you said while you were analyzing her again “They look so real and beautiful”

“Can you see the love of my life in them?” she tried again. 

You blinked and frowned in confusion “You’re so silly, Sulie” you giggled 

“Why? Can’t you see yourself reflecting on them?”

“Yes I can, but I don’t know what it has to do with-” 

Ursula smiled as you blushed and seemed to realize (finally!) what she meant. 

Carla Dunkler:

Carla actually met you at the Spa. You were the new member of the staff and she was quickly dragged to you. You were just so charming and kind and cute and she was quickly head over heels for you. 

You seemed to be interested in her too and started to try to get closer to her. You usually asked her about her life, her hobbies, what she wanted to be when she was little, etc. Carla thought you’d lose interest in her after she told you she had a son (it had happened a lot of times, she was used to it by now), but you were actually even more interested now. She was surprised when you started to ask about Jackson too, his dreams and aspirations. 

She didn’t know what to do, because she wasn’t used to someone being actually interested in her like that. So you had to be the one who made the first move.

Eve Fletcher:

Eve loved doing things with you, no matter what. She just loved to spend time with you and feel like you loved to be with her too. 

She was so grateful when you started to show interest in her literature class and asked her to show you her works. She was shy about it, but you were so reassuring and you quickly started to ask her for more. You didn’t pressure her, but you were so invested in it that Eve couldn’t help but find it extremely cute.

Jennifer Barkley:

Jen was so proud when you started to show interest in her work. She loved what she did almost as much as she loved you, so it was like a Christmas gift, but better. Because she quickly took you under her wing (even if you didn’t actually want to work in it, just were interested), and she was able to have you near her 24/7, even when she was working. 

You seemed to be having so much fun and it made her so happy. People started to call you her apprentice, until she corrected them and everyone knew you were her partner. After a while, everyone got used to your presence, and would be pretty worried if you don’t show up with her at an event.

They all started to make bets on when Jen would actually propose to you.

Notes: I have never written for Temari before. I think I got her spot on tho. This was actually too fun to write. Enjoy, y’all.

The only time that worked for everyone was 10 o’clock. Which, by the way, sucked ass. At least, that was what Kisame said in the groupchat just ten minutes before you dragged yourself out of your dorm and into the rain. You trudged through the puddles, holding your jacket closed over your body to protect your backpack-encased laptop. Shino had a night lab. The earlier he finished his work the earlier he could leave. Temari had been insistent about that. She had some sort of circle and you remembered Kisame asking her why she couldn’t just skip for the week only to be met with a passive aggressive response. And Kisame himself had hockey practice. Even the sports houses were off campus, only impeding your scheduling efforts.

When you got to the longue, Temari had already set up all of her belongings. She sat herself in a cluster of four shallow armchairs and spread out a flurry of papers on the long coffee table. With the packed schedule that she threw into the chat, you wondered how she got there so quickly. Temari looked up at you with one long, slender brow raised.

“Oh good, at least you’re here.” Unsure, really, of what to make of her backhanded compliment, you sat down in the chair across from her and wordlessly unpacked your laptop.

You never liked general classes. At the end of the day, you worked on a few big, group projects, ultimately learned nothing, and your grade depended on the work ethic of others. You glanced over at Temari. She likely didn’t even have the same major as you. Granted, that was probably the point of the class, but nonetheless, it weighed on your already drooping eyes knowing that you’d have to pour so many late night hours into a project that would amount to nothing.

You pulled up your school account and sifted through your notifications.

“I signed us up for a research question. I thought that censorship in the classroom was an easy and relevant one. I don’t know about you, but I’m not about to get into the intricacies of drones at this time of day.” You couldn’t help but nod. Temari sure pounced on top of things quickly and for that, you were thankful to have received an easy prompt.

“Sounds great,” you mused and the heavy door from the outside to the longue slammed shut. You glanced over your shoulder to find Kisame, still in athletic clothes grinning as he approached.

“Well this is bullshit, isn’t it?” Those were the first words to come out of his mouth and you could practically hear Temari groan in exasperation. Kisame plopped down in the armchair beside you, offering you a wink as he did. “What kinda professor assigns a project on Tuesday only for it to be due Thursday? Ain’t that right, sweetheart?”

You averted your eyes back to your screen, pretending to sort through your notifications. You hummed in response, too easily flustered and too tired to process. Temari’s fingers flexed over her own keyboard.

“It’s the beginning of the semester. It’s to test out organizational skills and teamwork,” she managed through half-gritted teeth. You looked between your two teammates, wondering what exactly happened between them that made them so hostile to each other. You made a mental note to not get in the way of whatever that was. Kisame scoffed, sitting back in the arm chair and reaching for his own computer.

“I don’t really care what it is and why it is. What I care about is that I’m wasting my Wednesday night…”

“Ah, yes, Wednesday night,” Temari repeated mockingly, “Because I know that I like getting plastered in the middle of the week.” Kisame leaned towards you on his left arm cushion.

“Soy Sauce over there is just sore that her brother picked a fight with one of my boys and lost. Sasori’s a short guy too, you should link with us sometime.” You heard Temari scoff.

“Yeah, like Kankuro would lose to any of the thugs you hang around—”

“Who are you calling a thug?” Temari met Kisame’s pointed glare. Even so, he sank farther into his seat, lifting one ankle to rest on his knee. “Though, I think it says something that you knew exactly what I was talking about—” He punctuated every word with a smug swing of his head before Shino walked in.

“Nice to see that things are lively in here.” He made his way across the lounge before plopping down next to Temari. A white piece of cloth hung out from his backpack, something that Temari didn’t miss as Shino prepared his materials.

“That’s a hazard.” She bit the inside of her lip.

“Don’t listen to her. She’s been grumpy since before you came here,” Kisame quickly explained, much to Temari’s disdain.

Looking across from you, you almost wished that you had just been paired up with Shino. You didn’t know him that well, but he seemed smart, capable and overall, quiet. Temari had drive, but her approach felt intense. Meanwhile, Kisame seemed like he couldn’t care less about the project. Or perhaps, it was more that he couldn’t care less about Temari.

“So the paper,” you began out of sheer nervousness. “And the presentation…” The three sets of eyes turned to you. You glanced at the clock. You had already wasted more than a half hour.

“Let’s be real here, a five page research paper is nothing,” Temari said, also crossing her legs. “It’s the presentation that we should worry about.” Kisame let out a breath.

“Well, here I was about to say the opposite.” He turned his neck to the side and you heard a few audible cracks. “What about we split it up if the paper is so easy for you?”

“I’m not just doing the paper by myself. Besides, I’d need to find sources and by the time I’ve found sources and written everything up, I’ll have done most of the work.” Temari wrinkled her nose at your partner next to you. “I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what you were banking on.”

“Here.” Shino’s low voice broke through the room. With one exaggerated click on his keyboard he looked up at the three of you. “I just put a list of sources in the shared doc. There’s ten of them which should be more than enough. I pulled a few articles and a few academic papers which should meet the criteria from the rubric.”

Temari blinked down at her computer, furiously switching tabs. Her lips formed a round ‘o’ shape.

“Nice work, Shino,” you praised only to receive a shy nod. “I think if we take an anti-censorship stance, it’ll make out work easier given the time that we have to finish. Maybe Temari, you can start the paper and I can start the slides.”

“I can help you with that,” Kisame offered and you typed his email into the share box.

“I’ll help Temari with the paper,” Shino said with another nod.

“Start with the counterarguments. I’ll work from the top, you work from the bottom.” Temari gestured widely to Shino’s screen and you let out a relieved sigh. Maybe you’ll be able to get all of this done after all.

Time flew during the late hours of the night. You didn’t know what it was about the nighttime that made time feel quicker than usual. Soon enough, the clock struck one. Temari plucked ferociously at her laptop and it surprised you that Kisame hadn’t asked her what she was punishing her keyboard for. Shino, on the other hand, liked to stand. About an hour ago, he had stood up from his seat, and with one foot on the low level of the coffee table, kept at writing his part of the paper. Temari and Shino didn’t speak much. Rather, their side of the table mostly sounded of clicking.

Meanwhile, you and Kisame were having a great time. He made you laugh much to Temari’s annoyance, but knowing that you were getting your parts done, she didn’t comment. Despite his outward physique, Kisame had a sense of style when it came to design and organization. You flew through fonts and images quickly and by the time you had cleared the first few slides, even you were impressed by how professional it looked. The clock read two o’clock.

“This was your conclusion, right?” You turned your screen in your hands to face Temari. She squinted over and her eyes lit up.

“Actually, that’s a way better wording. Imma just steal that…” She clicked some more. “That’s some great work.”

“It was actually all Kisame.” And to your surprise, he didn’t gloat. Instead, he remained eerily focused. Temari glanced at him before glancing away.

“Like I said, great work…” she muttered.

“We’re almost done with the slides,” you announced, “Do you guys need help with the paper?” Shino shook his head. You found that he preferred non-verbal answers.

“We’re wrapping up over here, too,” Temari answered.

“Good, because I’m fuckin’ starving.”

And with the one mention of food, you all looked up at each other.

There was only one place open this late at night and it was one block away from campus. Fast Food, of course, but no one in your group complained. The dining halls were closed and most of you didn’t keep your rolling pantries stocked with anything worth eating at two in the morning, so you packed up your things.

It felt odd walking down the road with this group of people. You chattered amongst yourselves about anything other than your assignment.

“Me? I’m a biology major. I want to study beetles but I have to get my undergrad before I can do anything really specific.” By far, Shino had to be the most interesting of you all. You made your way off of campus, the restaurant in your sight. And as the walk continued, so did your conversation.

“I’ve wanted to try the new place that they opened up by admissions but they’re always closed when I try to go.” Temari pouted and you crossed the street together. You wondered if spending four straight hours having to communicate with any three people could make talking to them this easy.

“Marine biology?” You stared up at Kisame. “I don’t think I would have guessed.” He let out a hearty laugh that sent a few birds flying.

“Oh yeah, they have us go out of labs for the whole day. And when I say the whole day, I mean the whole day. I’ve always loved the ocean, but I think I’d have to transfer if I had to wake up at seven and come back at eight for more than one day a week.” Kisame reached for the handle, only for it not to budge in his grip. He tried again.

“Are they closed?” you asked, getting slightly agitated at the prospect.

“No.” Shino cupped his hands around his eyes as he stared through the window. “Wet floor signs are out. This must be the time that they clean the dining room.” Shino hardly had to finish his sentence before Kisame was already on his way to the drive thru.

“Hey, wait a minute,” Temari yelled after him as she jogged to catch up. “You can’t just walk through the drive thru.”

“Sure you can.” Kisame stood directly in front of the speaker with his hands in his pockets. “There are no cars around and even if there were, they’d have to take our order to get us out of the way… Hello?” The speaker crackled and Kisame shot a pointed look at the rest of you before moting for you to come closer to order.

“What can I get you?” the apathetic worker droned.

“Can I get a number nine?” Kisame started.

“Oh me too,” you whispered to him, not entirely sure why you spoke with such a hushed tone. He crossed his arms with a smirk.

“Make that two number nines? One large—” He stepped back to let Temari come up to the speaker.

“May I please get a number six with extra sauce, please? And, uh, a number seven too, please.” Like Kisame before her, Temari stepped to allow Shino to talk.

“Two number forty-fives, one with cheese and a large soda.”

With nowhere else to sit, you claimed a spot in the empty parking lot. Temari ended up paying. You put up a fight, but she insisted. You were secretly convinced that she was loaded anyway.

“You two got a lot of food.” Kisame handed you your fillet burger. Temari hummed, taking one of her backs and folded it behind her.

“One’s for my boyfriend,” she said, and before Kisame could get out a snarky comment about how Temari could ever land a boyfriend, Shino answered,

“I just usually eat all at once. Can’t usually grab dinner while doing night labs.” You all grimaced to yourselves. You knew the feeling of skipping meals because of your schedules.

You looked out at the city. Your school sat on a hill just outside of the twinkling lights. You found comfort in the blinking that came from below and your surroundings made the atmosphere feel completely still.

“You know, if we have a choice, we should just stick together for the rest of the semester.” Shino’s monotone voice cut through the air. You turned to the rest of them. Temari shrugged.

“It’s less of a gamble since we know each other, I suppose. I know that most of you won’t mess up our assignments…” You and Kisame nodded along, both stuffing your faces with french fries.

The decision was unanimous.

Notes: 

Shino’s lab coat was in with his regular supplies which is technically a hazard when working in chem and bio labs since lab coats should be sealed. 

Not all fast-food places well take your order without a car, but if you block the line they’ll give in (that’s what I did). Don’t blame me if you get arrested for doing that though.

Sooo...I am EXTREMELY stupid! ! ! D:  -------------------- And even tho probably no one reads anything or looks at anything I post these days....I have to make this right! I was saying WRONG information and I need to fix that.  If you might know, I recently discovered comics called Momma CQ and am in love with the story and characters...obsessed actually.  Momma CQ comics (by AlainaPrana) are NOT linked to the Undertale multiverse in ANY WAY. Some characters were just inspired by Undertale and it’s souls. I was going around saying it’s an AU of an AU when in fact, that is completely incorrect. XP  Momma CQ comics are actually based in Alaina Prana’s ‘WorldView’ multiverse. She finished the MCQ comics and is now working on WorldView comics. She has been telling people this for years but I only just now found out that’s the case. XP  AND - Alaina is NOT Crayon Queen. They are two seperate peoples. I somehow thought they were one person and probably told people this, then was confused on whether Alaina had DID...and then found out no, they are two sepereate, individual, human beings. I am STUPID!!! -bangs head on wall- CQ is the person who originally created Error, Fresh and Geno’s original designs. Alaina got permission from her to use them in her own MCQ comic and Crayon Queen gave permission. So yeah. If I said anything counter to those two things, it was because I am/was an ignorant fool! Ignorant, ignorant, ignorant!  I am...still in the process of writing VERY self indulgent fan fictions of Momma CQ, mostly for myself lol. They contain two very prominent kinks/interests of mine. ABDL and Emeto. One fic is revolving around Fresh and another revolving around, well, the whole ‘family’.  I miiiiiiiiiight share them on Tumblr since she’s no longer active here. That’s the plan, anyway....or just show them to people who ask me to share the Google Docs link on Discord or here, if you’re interested. I already shared an ABDL Fresh art commission by Ah Bagels, mind you that Fresh was 18 years old in that pic, just to clarify that. And Bagels is a he/him, as well...since I had been telling about him with the wrong pronouns before that. Geez, I’m ...a mess. Ha.  Anyway, regarding the fics. I have it all plotted out and I’ve started it for the Fresh fic. I’m just...changing some things to make that work better with the new knowledge I have gained from reading Alaina’s Discord. There’s still so much more to read too....knowledge changes everything.

I have successfully managed to run macos 10.15 under VMware on windows 11. it was painful and hardly worth it in any practical sense, but it was also really fun. apple please stop fighting with Nvidia so I can just dualboot macos and not have it run at 20fps in VMware with visual glitches. I couldn't even get the edit feature in Photos to work, but from a quick glance at it, it looks really promising.

I always thought that macs were for artists but upon actually tinkering in macos for a few hours, they're actually just. for school. there's literally great (at first impression at least) tools for maths and graph plotting. basically a built in desmos. and then there's the dictionary which is a small thing but seems really nice to have. built in dictionary in all your languages. offline and quickly accessible. much more convenient then googling. and even then, in many apps you can just Google selected text by pressing the very top button in the context menu. neat

another really obvious positive is UI design. it's great. apple is still the best at UI design, and also consistency, which again, is pretty neat

what I found to be not as good is that apparently there is no way to set up my printer (no drivers that run on 10.15, which isn't even a new version at all. everything's outdated) and support for my Wacom tablet was worse than in windows. additionally, I couldn't get my mic to work, but I think it's purely because of me using a vm or otherwise not an actual Mac.

annoyingly the dynamic wallpapers are way off the actual lighting behind my window so that's disappointing lmao

and also there are problems with my apple id but I cannot say for sure whether they are caused by using a vm, or it's just apple being stupid.

also I couldn't connect my phone for some reason, I really don't see why that didn't work at all and I didn't look into it for the lack of need

I did manage to sign into app store and man. there's so much junk there ohmygod lmao. sadly darkroom, which is an app I really wanted to try for a while now, is macos 11+ only. which I find really confusing since I thought . we were. still on 10? idunno

the color calibration tool felt like a truck hitting me straight in the face. I consider myself really resistant to math jargon and stuff but that. was. brutal. I walked away not having a tiniest idea of what I just witnessed, which doesn't happen to me usually. mayhaps something to look into for fun. good thing about this is, people who know what that is all about, are probably happy with the sheer amount of detail they provide on color profiles. it is immense

I suppose I have Notes. which is a cool app. oh, apparently you can't create .txt files at all?? like I mean, it's not a saving format option in the text editor. why? why is .rtf the default one? why does it have .doc?????? really weird stuff

I like the tagging system in finder.app I wish they brought it to explorer.exe (extensions added for clarification of what os I'm talking about)

I think I will try updating the system next. I think I used a distro to install it (it looks vanilla but I will advise strongly against using anything that's not 100% official. I just could never figure it out)

[OLD AND MAY BECOME NON-CANON LATER ON] Beginning of HGAU’s Hels info

Terrible title i know, but its fine, its fiiine, it works for now lol! In this post Ill explain the Idea i have for this hermit’s au Hels!

And since it may be a slightly long post, ill put it under a cut, just in case! If ya’ll have any questions feel free to ask!

And yes, I want to give Hels their own ambassador but I am waiting on permission from someone, and if they decline ill have to think a bit more! But its all good, im just rambling at this point- INTO THE AU! Sorry for any grammer mistakes or if something sounds weird!

Hermitcraft, a wonderful place, a safe place for gods to be themself. But, because of their power all stored in one area, the ‘universe’ has decided to make a fail-safe for them. If a hermit or all the hermits were to go crazy and use their power in bad ways, there would be a way to stop them.

Thats where the Hels come in. Up until season 7, the world of Hels wasn't exactly a world. It was a place where the shallow npc’s roamed until they were needed. But one man has changed that. Well a few technically but still.

After a glitch in an experiment Wels did with VintageBeef, Helsknight grew sentient, he suddenly had a mind of his own, his own thoughts and feelings. And of course he went to Wels first, Wels was the thing Helsknight knew the most of. After being sent away, Hels managed to pop back up in the Dimension of Hels, and upon finding all the npc like creatures, took matters into his own hands.

After managing to steal some of the Hermits magic, he brought the Realm to life, he gave everyone a mind of their own! All but two... But he decided to investigate that later (later finding out Grians and Xisuma’s hels didnt awake due to there already being sentient hels of these two somehow). Hels decided not to take the crown as ruler, deciding that he’d be the right hand man of who ruled, as long as he liked them of course. And thats where we get into more Hels lore.

Tango’s hels, MamboHec, had won the title of ruler, dubbing himself ‘The Emperor’, and with tangos admin abilities, he realized he had a bit more power than he previously thought. As well as learning of their lives system. A Hels counterpart is incredibly hard to kill, harder to kill than youd think. Theyre like resistance little roaches, but every hels gets 1 free respawn after death. After that, if they do not have a respawn anchor or another plan, they are gone and replaced.

But, Hels doesnt have just one ruler, oh no no. Under Mambo’s rule, there are 3 more sections. They have dubbed themselfs; The Capitalists, Quiet-n-Stealthy, and Nuclear-Bomb-energy. Each section has a designated ruler. The capitalists; Scars hels, though his Given name is BadtimesWithScar, he calls himself Remedy. Quiet-n-Stealthy; TFC’s hels, He calls himself AluminonCritic/ AC. And finally the Nuclear-Bomb-energy; Doc’s hels, Ward.

Due to hels still being a relatively new sentient realm it's still learning. While Mambo may has the final admin say so(at least as long as xisumas or Grians hels are dormant) The other three sections do have some rule over the land of Hels. But one thing everyone knows, they're there to counteract their "good" versions, even tho is seems they're more evil than the gods could ever be. But no one will know the true answer till a god goes rouge.
