I am not going to be upset about you giving me feedback by ranting about the characters and theorizing future plots.

You giving me this input on my work makes a better writer because it gives me clues as to what my readers what to see. I love seeing people pick apart my characters because it shows me if I’m correctly conveying them a certain way. I love seeing people’s theories because it shows that they’re thinking about my work, and that my work is thought provoking enough to make you want to theorize.

My theories:

- Nesta teams up with Vanserra’s with one mission in mind; get her sisters back.

- Elain and Feyre are taken in to the Grisha and are met with disdain until Rhysand shows up and everyone falls in love with them.

- Elucien get separated from the party and have to survive. Together. With only each other.

I could be completely off base but that’s my theory.

I don't talk much about myself, but the last week has been rough and it is so nice to feel better, but I know I have a long way to go yet.

Mental health is something that most of us live with, some going unnoticed - afraid, ashamed or scared to reach out - but it is always there. It can feel terrifying, feeling out of control, not knowing what the future holds, that weight on your chest, on your heart, being open and vulnerable and at a loss for what to do. But I have been learning and accepting, slowly, that all the above feelings are perfectly natural and it is alright to feel like that. There is nothing wrong with opening up and leaning on others when you need them, reaching out for help.

The journey one goes on with their mental health is never linear, there are always highs and lows, but being kind to yourself and taking time to look after yourself, both physically and mentally, is incredibly important. I am at the beginning of my journey, and yes it scares me, because at the moment I can't see that light at the end of the tunnel, but I know with the support and love of my family and friends I will find a way through this.

The amount of times I rewrote this!! This started out as an 'I am back post', but I wanted to share this for anyone else out there also experiencing this. Share my story so you know you aren't alone. And whilst I am not normally this open about myself, continuing the conversation around mental health is important.

I can't believe I've written almost 2000 words in one go. It's been a long time coming on that chapter and I'm sorry it's taken me so long. It seems I can only write when I'm on holiday and not thinking about a million other things. Not sure if it bodes well for the rest of my writing but hey, at least I can still produce something.

See, a lot of people are familiar with a few of the band's songs. What they're frequently unaware of is that the albums are all part of a larger fictional world, with multiple interwoven stories, with the songs all sung by characters or their bands narrating their loves and adventures and tragedies in a universe full of ghosts and mysteries, where the dead can come back for a grand anti-capitalist revenge murder spree, where a drug made of the black void beyond can send you out to the astral plane.

Take bits and pieces of adventure stories, science fiction, horror, and the supernatural, throw them in a blender with folk and country and rock and pop music, all set to an alternate version of the late 1960s (and other times, admittedly, but that's where the bulk of the stories are set so far) and you have one weird little fandom consisting of four albums, a movie, a comic book, a few other short film specials made for the internet, and one band that is extremely dedicated to their fictional world and its characters and factions.
