Overall, before I get into the details, I’d say this is a very chaotic task lol. You’re probably half dead after dealing w his ass for so long, but seeing this boy that you thought of as your own son grow up before your eyes is so rewarding. It’s great, so wholesome 100/10.

You and Iruka definitely co-parent

Naruto would be constantly protecting you from Jiraiya. Like he doesn’t want the man near you. Runs over to you whenever Jiraiya is nearby and starts screaming “Missus Y/N, run! Pervy Sage is here, I’m doing you a favour, believe it!” No but in all seriousness, take Narutos advice because I know Pervy Sage is tryna hit it.

You end up having to talk to Jiraiya eventually though because you need to know what’s going on with Naruto and the Akatsuki and what you can do to help. Naruto will watch over the interactions like a hawk. Will whip a chopstick at Jiraiya if he tries anything on you, “Back it up pervy Sage! I said three meters apart, there’s no excuse!” So you’d have to meet eachother in secret because you won’t be able to discuss much when the blondies around.

Also, the amount of times you’ve chased his ass around the village after he got into some major trouble is too many times to count. He’s running as fast as he can away from you because he knows you’re gonna whoop his ass lol. Probably even uses his shadow clones, but you know better than to fall for those stupid tricks. No but fr, it’s a really good workout tbh you probably ran a marathon.

You treat him to ramen whenever he comes back from a mission. Sometimes Iruka comes along as well and you both alternate who pays the bill. Naruto always challenges you to a ramen eating competition. Luckily Iruka is there to hold you two back because he knows neither of you are financially stable enough to endure that damage to your wallets.

Literally everyone; Konoha 11, kakashi, iruka, Jiraiya, Tsunade, etc... always threaten Naruto by saying that they’ll tell y/n he’s not cooperating. It works like a charm everytime. There’s no way he wants to hear you lecture him for a good 2 hours. He’d rather get rasenganed into the face than listen to your horrible attempts at being wise.

You always ruffle Narutos hair when you see him. It’s like your signature sign of affection. You also call him “kid” all the time or “youngster” even though you’re like the same age as Kakashi and therefore not old yourself.

He calls you miss. He sometimes calls you Aunty y/n. Refuses to just call you y/n because he wants to be respectful, he looks up to you as a figure of guidance no matter how much he’ll deny it. So no matter how many times you tell him not to call you miss, he will.

Lots of walks! Like you’ll wait for him with Iruka at the village gate when Narutos supposed to return from a mission. It’s like parents picking up their kid from a field trip aweeee. You’ll pack some snacks for the three of you and he fills you in on his missions. He’ll always be like, “Awe no way! Thanks Missus Y/N. You’re the best!” When you give him all the food you packed.

He always comes to you for advice or to rant to you about Sasuke, Sai, Sakura and literally all the other Konoha 11. Lol, but he will rant about you to Iruka and Jiraiya all the time, little does he know you do the same.

Would purposely set you into mama bear mode on Sai for his own amusement. Like he just gets a kick out of watching you confront Sai about calling Naruto some absurd obscenity and watch poor Sai just stand there like: (°_°) lol what do I do? Naruto is snickering behind a tree because he just made that all up. Yamato probably has to intervene when he sees it. Will have to woodstyle justu you when he realizes you’re in mama bear mode.

Hes such a troublesome rat. You love him though. He’s your troublesome rat-son.

Naruto is used to you being hot headed like Tsunade when he gets into trouble, but if you ever take the disappointed route instead, he will cry lol. Like he hates that you’re actually disappointed with him, he didn’t mean to trick you into yelling at Sai, please forgive him.

All celebrations are done with Kakashi, Iruka, Naruto and yourself. Since you all don’t really have any real family to celebrate with, you’ve made your own. It’s so chaotic tho lol.

These events are always ‘surprises for Naruto’ so the cooking is up to you and Kakashi, but Kakashi is so fast at cooking he doesn’t even let you do anything. You have to physically stop him so you could do some of the work. Meanwhile Iruka sets up decorations for the event and he’s probably singing festive songs LOOL. Plus he can’t sing so it’s an extra headache ontop of you yelling at Kakashi to let you do some work.

Then you all surprise Naruto with your half burnt food (while you were fighting the food most definitely lit on fire) and extremely cheesy decorations. Oddly Iruka even decorated the floor. Like wtf. Anyways, Naruto doesn’t really care about how bad it actually was, he was just happy to have people around him that cared enough to invite him to a celebration.

The food is inedible so you go to Ichirakus instead and somehow persuade Iruka into paying for all four of you <3 this happens every holiday so he ends up just saving his money in preparation for it.

Naruto tries to be a matchmaker for you LMFAO. He tries to get you and Iruka together which ends so awkwardly omg, then he’ll try and get you and kakashi together which was even more awkward and DONT get me started on Yamato omg.. He was so nervous he just stared at you the whole time like a googley eyed tree frog or something. Each time you catch onto Naruros little Cupid schemes you tell him to buzz off and that you’re not interested, but he doesn’t listen.

Your other holiday celebrations may be badly executed, but you actually host the best birthdays for him!! You pair up with Tsunade, Shizune, Kakashi, Iruka and Sakura to throw him really memorable birthdays. They may not make up for all the ones he missed celebrations for already, but you do your best to make these extra memorable.

At the end of the night after every birthday party, you walk him home and pat his shoulder sadly talking about how he’s growing up so fast. You probably end up crying because you're sad the little doofus is maturing somewhat. You tell him that and he laughs. Once you’re at his apartment door he’ll grin tiredly and give you a big hug. “Thanks again, aunty y/n.” You probably cry again on the way home bc he actually hugged you. That’s so sentimental omg. That is roughly about what happens every single birthday.

For your birthdays he treats you to ramen and gets you some weird kitchen gadget or something. Figures you’re an adult and they probably need these things. You don't, but you appreciate the gift anyway. 

He buys you flowers every Mother’s Day. It makes you so emotional. You definitely cry. “Awe missus y/n! Not again. You’re so emotional.” He probably starts crying too though lol.

It breaks his heart to see you cry omg. Poor baby is like a lost puppy when you cry. Like not you’re over exaggerated crying, but your said painful crying. Once, after hearing some distressing news about the Akatsuki, you just break down. Naruto has become a son to you after all and you want to protect him so badly, but how can you do that when you’re up against powerful rouge ninjas? You cried in front of him for the when you two were having your weekly dinners at your place, all the sudden you just burst out crying and it hurt him so much because he knew it was because you were so worried about him.

Honestly, he probably ruffles your hair —like you do to him — in attempt to cheer you up. “It’s okay, Aunty y/n. I’ll take care of it, everything will be okay, believe it!”

Oh yah also, speaking of weekly dinners! You guys definitely get together at least once a month or if it’s a good time, once a week to have dinner. We all know Naruto only survives on ramen, so you try and cook him healthy food, but my god he resists so hard. Then you give him that warning look and he chows down that salad so fast lol.

It would be 10/10 he's a great kid

* yes so anyway iwaizumi is forever trying to yeet oikawa out of your relationship, but at this point you've probably accepted that they come as a comedic duo and u cannot escape.

* if u call iwaizumi iwachan, he will grumble about being corrupted by shittykawa and it's not fair that when they say it it's so cute

* wholesome boi. responsible af. will text u throughout the day, making sure u ate properly or work isn't too rough.

* when you're stressed out he will somehow find some time to appear in front of you with snacks (healthy ones!) and some sweet drinks, or coffee

okay but to actually answer ur question i think it was just. what we NEEDED in this series rn there’s been a lot of angst and i loved POF, i did, but this was just so SOFT and FUN and there was a sprinkle of angst but not OVERWHELMING angst and it was so good. i love that virgil is the one who TOOK CHARGE and he DID THAT himself. he’s the PROTECTOR and he SHOWED IT here. i love that for him❤️💘💙💓❤️💖❣️💖❤️💓💙

also the art was so pretty!!!! all of them look so ADORABLE. the artists are so talented. and story-wise i like how it allowed them to physically interact!!! in the same frame!!!!! virgil turned roman’s face!!! roman put a hand on virgil’s shoulder!!!!! they both grabbed thomas’ shirt and both pushed him (literally) to do stuff!!!!! just. more freedom and i loved that

and idk fam they’re just so HAPPY even tho roman and virgil are two of the sides that maybe are not talking to the others as much bc of, yknow, many past events. i like the allusions to virgil not approving of janus’ acceptance/of lying in general but!!

as @subtlereferencetomyinterests pointed out to me in a galaxy brain moment, virgil’s line “are you gonna rely on deceit for all the answers? is that fair to him?” could mean that virgil recognizes how depending on a single side can hurt that side so he may not like janus but he still doesn’t want janus to get hurt by thomas relying ONLY on janus, bc it will hurt janus—just like relying too much on patton has already hurt patton in the past.

max was born and raised in halloway to the ‘never gonna get out of this place’ sorta people. only her mother did, shortly after she was born, in the middle of the night with no warning and no telling. of where she might go, leaving her with her father. woof. 

her old man really tried. he was a good dad, but the man’s moral compass was all sorts of out of whack. he spent as much time as possible with max and took as good of care of her as possible but like honestly?? having a kid is EXPENSIVE. being alive is expensive, and the straight and narrow honest path doesn’t always get you what you need.

he ultimately fell back into old habits which meant he spent a lot of time in the city boosting cars only to bring them back to halloway to sell for parts or modify for street racing and upselling. this was a business he ran under the table at an autoshop in town that the duval family started decades prior. 

max never really knew this was going on because he kept it very much separate from her. they spent a lot of time working in their garage at home together on his old beater truck and a couple of other junkers that came in through the years, but she never visited the autoshop past sundown. just figured dad was a mechanic by day and a bit dependent on alcohol most nights.

when she was around fifteen, though, a job went horribly wrong and put her father away for life. thus began max’s time in the system, three years and three different foster homes in and around the halloway area... which had her consistently frustrated because she A: knew being adopted wouldn’t happen since she was 15?? and B: had pretty much been taking care of herself her whole life so sticking her in a house seemed stupid.

duval’s autoshop was bought by a friend of her father’s who was a friend no more after the ordeal, and renamed. she got a job there when she was old enough, first running the front desk, then working under the hood. she’s a hands-on learner and caught on to anything her father didn’t teach her very quickly.

even though she was a hard worker and happily minded her own gd business... she’s her father’s daughter, and trouble always seemed to find her. sometimes it was her fault— because she’s got a temper and a knack for being fussy under heavy authority—, other times it was the preconceived judgements attached to her last name. “trouble’s in her dna” sort of thing. 

18 rolls around and she’s made.... decent enough grades to get into a few schools with scholarships, but she opts to defer in order to work for a year and save up. lives out of her car for a little bit, couch surfs every now and then, stays with some very gracious hosts, and works her ass off until she’s able to go to school for mechanical engineering which is great!!!

but because she’s still in halloway, hat last name follows her, and a lot of local students kinda know who she is. know she's a bit sharp, a bit rough around the edges, from an icky background. but she did her best and kinda loved being able to actually work in labs and have friends and come back to the same dorm every now and again, even if she didn't have anywhere to go over holiday break. she was doing well fOR ONCE!!!

then the storm happened bc no one in halloway is ever allowed to be happy

it’s every man for themselves, last names and reputations be damned at first so despite initial panic she’s.. relieved, to say the least.

because her grey morality is no longer such a bad thing!! probably reveled in it for a while, hotwiring cars, picking locks, maybe took a bat to the window of an old foster home. then when she realized how serious the situation was ... she kinda ... started to promise herself that she wouldn't be the villain of this story!!! 

and now?? well... like everyone else she’s just trying to survive, just trying to figure her shit out, and still takes no shit bc she is useful in this world and she will be damned if u make her feel like she’s not!!

P E R S O N A L I T Y 

she may not be able to read jane austen in her free time at the speed of light, but max is sharp. she’s intuitive and knows how to take care of herself when the going gets rough. she’s quick to think on her feet and 110% a tactile learner as in... throw her into the fire and she’ll learn on the job. it’s why she’s so good with her hands and why she went into mechanical engineering.

she’s got... a lot of anger quietly bubbling under the surface bc she’s been dealt a shitty hand. but with no family, whose there to be mad at?? so she probably drinks more than she should... like father like daughter!!! because alcohol is cheaper than therapy my friends

a lil rambunctious, a lil rough around the edges. bold and a lil too fearless... never backs down from a dare even if she knows it’s a stupid one.

does not give up on herself and hates being underestimated. that said, she does have a tendency to give up on others quickly. she’s been let down a lot, and i mean, if you see a pattern and have no reason to believe someone’s going break it...

VERY loyal to the people she loves. she’d do anything for them, ethically questionable favors included, but these people are few and far between bc yikes! it’s hard to really get to know her

so backstory !

his mother worked for as an assistant for the ambassador of canada --- she was on a fast track to higher places and people always told her that she’d become the ambassador herself at some point. she lived for those words because it was her ultimate goal. ever since she had been little all she had wanted to do was live overseas, do important work and be important. she wanted to matter. one part of the dream was accomplished considering she lived in london and not in some backwoods town in canada.

now, her mother was pretty young. mid to late twenties. she wouldn’t be the ambassador for some time, it’s just not how it goes. while she waited to be old and mature enough to be considered for the job, she decided she had to live a little.  hell, if you didn’t take advantage of living in london, you were wasting your time. so she started socializing, partying, going to clubs --- the more she did that, the more friends she acquired, and eventually new contacts were important people, rich people, political people. quite far from her but exactly what she wanted to be. 

and then, against all odds she runs into the crown prince. he’s charming, he’s funny, and he’s the goddamn crown prince! no one can blame her for falling for him and fast. flash forward a couple of months and he tells her that their thing isn’t really a thing and she should move on. oh, what a bummer but hey life doesn’t wait for anyone. what she didn’t expect was the pregnancy. 

so when vaughn was born her mother was in a bit of a pinch because her career was important and truthfully it did not have room for a baby. vaughn basically grew up around the neighbours --- the older women were more than happy to watch after him while his mother went to work to earn those precious pennies. 

yes, vaughn was an inconvenience but no, it didn’t mean that his mother didn’t love him. her free time was dedicated solely to him, and she made sure she would be home to read him a bedtime story. their flat was small but it was enough for two people. 

he grew up quite independent. he could use their microwave oven when he was five and he could cook himself chicken when he was 10. it wasn’t all bad but he was a bit lonely. being the only kid wasn’t much fun. the school he was put in was a canadian one, which just felt odd to him because he considered himself as a brit --- hell, he even talked like one ! 

in the beginning he had trouble making friends: he was a bit shy. but as years passed and he felt more comfortable in his skin, he got more confident and became the jokester. he lover making people laugh, he still does. people who are funny are popular as well and when he started 6th form he just thrived. 

that was when things started to change for his mother as well --- the long awaited promotion finally came. after working at the office for over a decade, she got to run it. the celebrated for a whole month. 

he sometimes asked about his dad but only got vague answers. they made him not want to know. he didn’t want to be the product of a one-night stand: it just made him feel unwanted despite the warmth and comfort her mother provided. 

but then there were news everywhere about the mysterious heirs. two new royals ! wow ! everyone in england were going mental. it was so impossible to believe. one night, vaughn gets to talking about it with his mom and bam ! she has to come clean, it’s now or never. he’s shocked to the core. it can’t be true, he can’t be of royal blood. it makes no sense. his life isn’t a cinderella story. it took him a year before he decided to see what would happen if he got in contact with his dad. it was a bit after a-levels, he had been working at a grocery store with no prospects because he didn’t know what he wanted to do and he most certainly didn’t want to waste her mom’s hard-earned money on a degree he’d throw in the trash. 

so when he kind of became part of the windsor family, things changed drastically. he hadn’t thought about what kind of a celebrity he’d become after his heritage would be made public. the flashing lights and microphones were weird at first, he felt like he was watching someone else’s life because that guy certainly wasn’t him. 

royal duties gave him a sense of purpose though. people, his father’s people, the smart men and women, asked him to do all sorts of favours for the crown. “ can you make an appearance here ? ” “ what if you participated in a charity run ? ” “ you could go and meet the irish royals. ” he played along because if there’s something to know about vaughn, he always wanted to please people. 

all was well, he was just another gear in a well-oiled machine, he had a place. then one day, his father, and i’ll remind you the guy barely spent time with vaughn, comes up to him and asks for a favour. vaughn should go to portugal, spend some time there, befriend the princess, maybe charm her, make sure portugal remains as a strong ally. 

he really didn’t think much about it. he didn’t believe in his abilities to charm people. he was a doofus at core. but he more or less crashed one of barbie’s parties and barbie, being who she is, came talk to him. 

and by god did he do his best to be the most interesting, the nicest and the most handsome guy at the party. he needed her to remember him, if not for england, solely because she just might have been the prettiest girl he had laid eyes on.

their whirlwind romance began there and before he knew it, they were dating. every now and then he’d get a call and someone would ask him to ask barbie if portugal could do this or that, vote against or for whatever benefited england. he didn’t think it mattered that much. he’d ask, sometimes she’d do him a favour, sometimes not. 

“ he didn’t think ” is the title of vaughn’s biography. 

then one time barbie catches him red handed. a fight erupts. she feels betrayed. he doesn’t understand. they fight and fight and fight, and eventually barbie throws him out of the apartment. it’s a quick ending for a fast-paced romance.

so he goes back to england, her mom’s tenure is about to finish and she tells him, she, at least, is moving back to canada. he decides to screw england, screw the crown, screw the monarchy, and goes with his mom. he makes her proud by finally starting university. 

flash forward 5 years, he has his master’s in history, and he decides to help england once again. 

reunion with barbie was rough... what was even rougher was finding out about having a 7-year-old kid. of course, he was upset at barbie, furious even, because if there was something he would have never willingly done was leave a kid without his father. it just hit too close to home. 

the bitches rekindled their romance and now they have the twins and they are playing house. yes, we r gonna pretend he’s been here on/off for 2 years bc this plot required it lol.

TL;DR: canadian ambassador’s son, grew up in england, found out he was a prince, did his best to please the crown, kinda manipulated barbie, fell in love with barbie, got his heart broken by barbie, moved to canada, got his degree, found out he had a son, rekindled his romance with barbie, got her pregnant again lol

ok  so  mac  was  born  to  mac  jr  and  a  former  singer  named  tara  michaels  .  they  met  when  she  was  in  the  record  label  building  , for  a  meeting  in  regards  to  a  possible  contract  and  the  rest  was  history  ?  grandpa  hated  tara  and  made  no  secret  of  his  opinions  abt  her  .  basically  he  thought  she  was  a  golddigger  (  she  was  )  and  his  son  was  stupid  (  also  true  )  ,  and  even  refused  to  attend  their  wedding ceremony .  needless  to  say  ,  as  soon  as  they  got  married  ,  the  couple  left  sunny  california  n  settled  down  in  chicago  .

once  he  graduated  high  school  ,  his  grandpa  told  him  that  he  wanted  him  to  run  the  company  in  his  dads  place  bc  he  wasnt  leaving  a  multibillion  dollar  company  for  that  doofus  ,  but  sneaky  old  mac  told  him  that  there  were  terms  to  this  development  .  mac  would  get  the  company  once  he  retired  ,  but  since  his  father  had  been  such  a  dumb  fuck  ,  he  would  only  get  the  company  n  his  money  ,  if  he  married  a  woman  approved  by  the  senior  before  he  kicked  the  bucket  .  mac  threw  an  absolute  fit  ,  but  eventually  came  to  the  conclusion  that  he’d  rather  marry  someone  for  convenience  than  be  poor  for  the  rest  of  his  life  .  which  tbh  so  would  i  .

ENTER  ARRANGED  FIANCÉE  .  they’ve  been  engaged  for  about  two  yrs  now  but  no  one  is  in  any  rush  for  the  actual  marriage  .  the  deal  was  that  they  only  had  to  do  it  before  senior  died  ,  n  since  he’s  in  pretty  much  perfect  help  ,  the  duo  is  just  biding  their  time  .  mac  moved  to  nyc  to  live  w/  the  fiancée  ,  but  as  of  now  ,  they  r  pretty  much  just  roommates  atm  .  so  yeah  basically  thats  how  mac  ended  up  in  this  moment  in  his  life  lmao  . 

in  regards  to  his  personality  ,  mac  is  pretty  much  a  mini  version  of  malcolm  senior  .  he’s  v  confident  (  cocky  )  n  has  a  LOT  of  trouble  trying  to  view  life  by  any  other  point  of  view  than  his  own  .  very  selfish  and  honestly  not  a  guy  u  can  put  ur  trust  in  ?  he’s  not  like  a  super  asshole  or  anything  ,  is  in  fact  rly  charming  n  can  be  a  great  person  to  hang  out  w/  but  if  you’re  his  best  friend  n  he  feels  like  he  can  get  away  w/  hooking  up  w  your  mom  ? 12/10  will  do  it  .

he  works  on/off  for  the  record  label  ,  mostly  monitoring  bigger  artists  n  such  because  we  love  nepotism  around  here  friends  ,  but  he  also  does  music  every  once  in  a  while  ?  its  not  frequent  ,  n  he  mostly  writes  songs  for  other  artists  , but  he  has  previously  released  an  album  n  scored  a  couple  of  #1s  .  i  pretty  much  think  of  his  vc  n  style  as  bazzi’s  ,  but  he’s  definitely  not  super  active  as  a  singer .

so  far  this  is  pretty  much  it  for  mac  .  i’m  still  working  on  him  a   little  ,  but  this  is  an  alright  outline  of  his  for  now  .  i’m  gonna  list  some  possible  connections  but  those  are  gonna  be  pretty  basic  .  feel  free  to  hmu  in  my  ims  or  on  discord   (  mella is lost #1597  )  where  i  am  p  much  all  the  time  so  we  can  come  up  w  some  bomb  ideas ?

In grade 9 social studies class we had an assignment that was to make an album cover and track list about the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and at the time I wanted to go into film and other Tech Stuff so instead of doing something fuckin normal like writing down “Jingle My Equality” in coloured pencil and calling it a day I kept working over winter break and wrote and recorded 8 songs including the whack-ass instrumentation using only a headset, my laptop, and Audacity. The last couple days of winter break I tried to learn some guitar cords to try and make it sound at least a little alright but I absolutely did not sing in any real key I just fucked around in my closet so that fell through real quick and the strongest instrument backup went to random tooting on my mom’s recorder

I never picked up a guitar again and those songs haunt me to this day

After a month and a half of deeeeep searching you finally find a reasonably priced place to live in

It’s quite a distance from your parents’ home but it’s the point of you moving out to begin with

On the move-in day, you’re carrying your boxes up to your new apartment complex and you hear some tunes drifting from your next door neighbor

And you’re like hey this is actually really good music but i’ve never heard of it

You shrug it off and continue settling in

Once you finished hauling your boxes, you were about to pass out on your couch

Ok you actually did pass out on your couch

But you had to unpack some necessities later that night for bathroom and bedroom purposes

All you had for dinner was pop in some instant ramen and call it a night. You then hopped in the shower and got ready for bed

The following morning it was primarily you unpacking and shifting around your furniture a little but it was challenging by yourself

You were making a good amount of noise and in the middle of the day you were met with a very loud knock on your door

And you were in the middle of unpacking your kitchenware so you were like oh shoot ahh i’ll be right there!!

Little did you know your next door neighbor wasn’t having any of it

Can’t I get some peace and quiet around here? He grumbled as he impatiently waited for you to open the door

I swear, I’m gonna tell them off they won’t even knOW what will hit--

You finally opened the door, and he’s like oh. My gosh.

You had a few pieces of hair sticking to your forehead and your hair was tied back in a messy bun

You were dressed in a faded coral tee underneath a pair of worn-out denim overalls with house slippers

Everything he planned to complain about suddenly vanished and his first thought was:

“Is that Pikachu on your front pocket?”

Apparently he said that aloud, which he didn’t register until he saw you giggling

“Yeah, it was a hand-me-down! Still cute, right?”

And he’s kinda still just staring at you with his mouth slightly agape

And you’re like oh right ahem did you need anything?

That’s when he notices the utter mess behind you: plastic covering still over some of your furniture, half-emptied boxes littered in almost every inch of the floor, etc.

And that’s when it hits him: all that noise was you unpacking

“O-oh yeah, I just,, wanted to let you know that it was getting a little loud since I live right next door”

He silently curses at himself like i almost went off at my new neighbor rip that wasn’t gonna be a good first impression

Luckily for him, you were chill about it and you’re like omg sorry!!! It’s a little tough doing this by myself, sorry for the ruckus

One of the songs sound vaguely familiar and you realize it’s what you heard when you first arrived here

You keep bouncing to all the catchy tunes and swaying to the soulful ones

And in all honesty, seeing your reactions makes Jihoon feel really warm and even a little proud bc it’s one of the biggest reasons why he loves his job so much

He makes eye contact with you and you’re like :D and he’s like ahEM COuGh coUGh i’m gonna dust this shelf over here

He suddenly stands up and busies himself and you’re like ???? okie dokie

He’s a real help around the place and you’re practically done settling in

As you survey your fresh living space, you can’t help but feel a little…. Disheartened?

Bc it was actually really fun to have him around even while he made blunt remarks about your taste of decorations

You spent the past three days with Jihoon unpacking and talking about whatever comes to mind

Jihoon is pretty devastated that he has to go back to his makeshift studio in his room as much as he will never admit it

From then on, every time you pass by each other, you greet him with a friendly smile and wave and you never fail to make his heart skip several beats

You don’t talk as much as how you first started bc he’s gotten much busier trying to mass-produce a lot of songs

For some strange reason, every time you hear a melody coming from the other side of the walls, you feel like you’re somehow connected with him

Well, except for the muffled cursing LMAO

And sometimes you would also hear several male voices at once and you’re guessing they’re his friends or the people he’s working with on the song, but based on their friendly banter and the constant run-throughs, it’s probably both

You would hear the same melody play over and over again, and you’re guessing he’s stuck on a certain part of a song as he tries to recreate new melodies from that point on

“aaAAGHGHHHGGHHHH” *deep sigh* me trying to overcome writer’s block LMAO

This would happen for about half an hour and you can’t help but wanting to reach out to him, but you’re not exactly the most musically-inclined person sadly

When he ultimately calms down, he goes back to working on the song until he finally gets the results he desires

More often than not, you fall asleep from hearing the slow ballads he creates with a smile on your face

Lil Jihoon does try to visit you and vice versa!! He sometimes shows up with random food and more CDs and you’re wondering just how many songs has this guy produced in his lifetime??? He looks around the same age as you but he’s probably produced 26+ songs by the way he packs a decent amount on each CD

Usually his excuse to sharing a meal with you is that “the guys brought over too much and i have a ton of leftovers that i can’t finish by myself”

In reality, he stared at a restaurant’s menu and contemplated for about twenty minutes about what you would like. This guy’s got dedication not just for work

“Would it be weird if i get fried chicken?? Maybe just a bowl of noodles?? What if soup is better??? It would give weird vibes if i bought drinks too, right?? Or should i just go ahead and buy them???”

Regardless of what he buys, you’re eager to eat anything and everything with your fav neighbor *wink wonk*

You feel bad when he would do that though, so you try to return the favor every so often as well

One time, you ordered some takeout but the servings were waaaaay bigger than advertised and you’re like Idea!! Let’s head over next door!! So you took the plastic bags and put in some drinks before heading out the door

You knocked on the door and that was when you heard light chatter on the other side of the door

Too late, someone’s voice rang out “I’ll get it!” and next thing you know, the door swings out to reveal a face you’ve never seen before

“Oh, hi!” He says a little surprisedly but with a smile nevertheless

“H-hi, umm,,,, is Jihoon there?”

The guy is nodding his head in the direction of the back hallway, “yeah, he’s in the bathroom” and that’s when he looks down at your hands and his eyes instantly light up

“Omg did you bring food?? You’re so thoughtful!! Come in, come in!!” and before you could protest he literally drags you in and you’re met with a bunch of other strangers who are staring back at you like :oooo????

“Who’s this?? Jihoon never mentioned someone coming over today,, AND YOU CAN’T JUST DRAG SOMEONE IN THIS ISN’T YOUR HOME”

And you’re like ya i didnt know either lmao

You’re awkwardly shifting on your feet and praying jihoon will pop up instantaneously bc you’re gonna melt in embarrassment

“I just wanted to give him some of this,” you hold up your hands to gesture your food, “since it’s too much for me to finish on my own”

“Oh that’s cool! Some of the other guys are actually out to get more lunch, but food goes out fast with all of us here,” another guy says as he pats your shoulder reassuringly. “Well, since you’re already here, you can join us!”

“I-it’s ok! I hope I wasn’t interrupting anything, I just wanted to deliver this,,, I’ll get going” and you’re about to zOOM outta there but the same guy who ushered you in is like nO DONT LEAVE

“We’re taking a lunch break, so it’s cool if you join us! I’m Soonyoung” and he’s like :DDD and you’re just like ,,,, what a hyper guy but i like him

Everyone goes around to introducing themselves

you do a headcount of 8 and you remember there’s more guys getting food for them,,,, holy heck how many people do they have???? You’re about to introduce yourself after them but then

“Soonyoung, who was at the door--” a familiar voice calls out in the hallway before he emerges

And jihoon is like dsljLSJDF what the hELL

“Y/N??? What are you doing here???” *side eyes soonyoung*

And everyone’s making eyes at each other like waIT WAIT THIS IS Y/N???

“Soonyoung dragged me inside”

“Gdi soonyoung, how many times do i have to tell you that you can’t go around dragging people to join us???”

This guy who you think is named Seokmin pipes up, “yeah he does this all the time at our workplace too. A lot of our coworkers always end up extending their stay for far too long” and you’re nodding slowly like yeahhh i can see that happening

Soonyoung’s eyes are widened and he turns to jihoon like “is this the y/n that inspired your recent so--”

And jihoon is quick to cover his mouth so his voice is all muffled

“aHahaAHHAH soonyoung’s always the joker, april fools day!!! Let’s set the table, the others should be back soon”

jihoon whispering to soonyoung: you better sleep with one eye open tonight boi

About twenty minutes after you’ve arrived, there’s another knock on the door

Soonyoung is practically bouncing on his way to the door and you can hear more unknown voices

They’re filing in and they suddenly stop and look at you like wait what

Jeonghan briefly explains the situation to the guy who came in the door first and you’re lowkey intimidated bc he seems to be eldest and looks like he could beat you up to a pulp

After jeonghan tells him, he breaks out into this gigantic, cute gummy smile like welcome!! :DD i’m seungcheol! And the other guys behind him follow suit

Jeonghan’s like “this is,, y/n” and everyone tries to be subtle and nods like they didn’t hear jihoon babble on and on about you for weeks

You end up staying there for a pretty long time, bonding over the whole feast you have and it’s really lively and fun, not to mention super loud with 13 guys in the same room,,, but you’re genuinely having a good time

Jihoon would glance at you nervously occasionally to check on you if you’re uncomfortable in any way

Jeonghan, who’s sitting next to him, notices jihoon’s eyes are practically glued to you and he’s like “is this the part where you confess your undying love and propose”

And jihoon is like shUT UP NO WHAT this chicken tastes great *quickly chugs down water*

You look back at jihoon sometimes and see he looks flushed but it’s not like he’s drinking alcohol

“Jihoon are you feeling ok?? Your ears are bright red” which obviously makes them redder rip

“I-i’m fine,, wow is it hot in here maybe it’s just the spiciness of the chicken let’s open the windows”

You eventually leave them as much as they protest and even try to get Jihoon to guilt trip you (unsuccessfully)

“Don’t leave just yet y/n!! You should stay, right Jihoon???”

“Huh?? O-oh yeah, I mean, you can if you want,,,,, we kinda need to work though”

You sigh and you try to busy yourself doing other things but you hear a loud commotion on the other side of the walls with just a bunch of incoherent shouting

You smile and laugh to yourself when you think about how close they all are

Your smile slowly fades when you start wishing you wanna be close to Jihoon and you’re like snAP OUT OF IT!!!

A couple of weeks pass by uneventfully but you notice that Jihoon has gotten more reserved around you

It’s just him being bashful around you and he panics every time he sees you but obviously he doesn’t want you to know that

You’re standing at your little mini balcony and admiring your cute little cactus plants

Just as you start thinking about him and his wellbeing, you hear your name and you’re like wHO’S THERE

You look down and see Jihoon staring back at you and honestly he looks like he’s awestruck by your whole beauty bc seriously everything you wear always looks super good to him

When you let him in, he places the bags on your table and quickly smiles to himself when he sees your laptop on your bed

You and Jihoon both mindlessly do your respective roles as usual

He slowly comes out in the living room with your laptop and he’s like “so the album is pretty much done now,,, i can’t release all of the songs yet but there’s one i want you to listen to. I’ll show you after we eat”

You’re like ooo im excited and you start catching up with him as you’re eating

You can’t contain your excitement any longer, so as soon as you eat the last bit of your food, you’re like “oKAY SHOW ME IT NOW” as you’re restlessly shifting on your legs

He nods and pulls up the media player on your laptop. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath before pressing play

It’s a melody you’re quite acquaintanced with after hearing it countless times at night, the same tune that lulls you to sleep

You have high expectations for this song, and surely he surpasses them with flying colors

You’re enjoying the song and telling him “wow this is a really good song!” when suddenly some lyrics catch your attention

You hear something about messy hair pulled back, ruffled clothes, eating meals

And you’re like huh that sounds a lot like us haha is that supposed to be me??

Jihoon is avoiding eye contact with you and looking down at his fidgeting hands as the song progresses in its later verses

The lyrics talk about wanting to develop a deeper relationship, one where “it’s okay to tell me anything, your hardships and desires. I just want to see you smile” and you’re like wait,,,,

And one of the final lyrics says something about “i can’t help feeling like this, will you accept my hand?” and you’re like wait wait w a i t

The song comes to an end and silence fills the room

You’re not sure whether you should speak up first or wait for him, but either way you’re speechless and wouldn’t know what to say anyways

Jihoon clears his throat awkwardly and stumbles on his words poor bby

“S-so, yeah,,,, I’ve been working on this one the longest,,,, umm do you,,, like it?”

But you know better that he’s not just talking about the song

“Nah sorry man i’m not interested”

And he finally brings himself to look at you and he’s like !!!!! really????

He’s pretty much paralyzed in shock and all he can do is watch your hand move towards his and hold it

He blinks slowly and he can’t fight the grin that spreads on his face as he grips your hand back

Hiya! I had the worst possible day, and I'm in bloody agony, and here you go and cheer me up with your last post. Notice how Harry doesn't let go of the stand, and kind of stares at Niall until he looks up, before twirling away? It kind of made me wonder what Narry headcanons you have of them trying to make the other one laugh, or just generally trying to cheer each other up?

!!!!! i hope you’re feeling better love. i put some headcanons under the cut because i got a little carried away………………………………

first it’s important to note that narry are WEIRD (boy)friends. very weird. Niall has said of Harry that he’s “quirky as ‘,’ ” (in the TMH album booklet, and i don’t think anyone would disagree that harry is a DORK) and i’m p sure shania fuckin twain herself said niall’s annoying (but in like a good way), so i have no doubt that these two are silly as weird as hell. that makes headcanons very fun.

you remember that scene in the TMH tour movie where harry’s shirtless and just got his resting bitch face on and niall’s just standing in the background and holds up a football and just shouts FOOTBALL!!!!! bc that’s the stuff i imagine. odd little things that just make each other giggle.

so say they’re at an event. an award show maybe. maybe harry’s not having a good time (maybe this is in the past and one direction is going to get snubbed yet again who knows). Niall’s would do something like blatantly tickle him and then dart away to hide behind liam to see if harry reacts. he does, a little quirk of the brow, a bit of confusion. niall comes out of hiding, stands beside him, waits for harry to look away, then does it again– stick his hand under harry’s jacket, tickles his ribs, and jumps to the side to hide behind someone, stick his head up, give harry a playful “what are you gonna do” look. he wouldn’t stop until harry made chase, actually going after him one of those times he jumps away. he’d catch niall with both of his hands on his waist, being all dramatic, planting his feet into the ground, yanking him backward until he stumbled into his chest. niall expects to be tickled to death but harry would probably just hold him, (one arm around the shoulders, other hand on niall’s waist, more or less completely facing each other but not really saying much because holding niall makes him feel better). niall’s always so bright and happy, he’d be laughing and holding conversations with other people while harry’s not letting him go and it would cheer harry up to be in that sphere

or maybe niall’s not having a good day, maybe they’re alone. at home. it’s the future. they’re Together. harry’s very good at talking, i think we all know this by now, he does it a LOT, he’d just talk niall into a better mood. it goes like this:

harry walks into the living room, niall’s reclined on the couch trying to watch a game but it’s not going well so he’s not feeling much better. harry climbs straight on top of niall, lays down so they’re chest to chest, lets his cheek squish against the side of niall’s head and  says “hello darling”

“harry you’re squishing me”

“am I? weird, didn’t notice.”

“i saw a cat today, it looked just like my mum’s, and i asked it how it got all the way over here but it didnt understand me”

“pet, you can’t talk to cats”

niall laughs, like a sputtering “you’re such a doofus” kind of laugh and puts one of his hands on the dip in harry’s back and doesnt even try to push him off. harry smiles. he’s got him.

“what kind of dog would i be? if i were a dog, like–”

“something yappy. a little chihuahua maybe. or like a little posh dog, a cocker spaniel with them curly ears or something.”

Harry squawks, looks up at niall and gapes, and niall just laughs. “You asked!”

“yeah, well!” harry starts, doesn’t know where he’s going. lays his head back down on niall’s shoulder, wraps his arms around him the best he can. “you’d be something warm. and loyal. and cuddly. like a big golden retriever.”

“heard that before”

harry squawks again. niall laughs again. they’re so In Love, it’s the small things that cheer each other up. niall likes a good cuddle even if harry’s talking his ear off.

“what team is this again?”

“he scored! oh wrong team.”

it started when seungcheol took you to the studio

jihoon thought it was gonna be just him and cheol working on some stuff

but in walks cheol with a girl he’s never seen

who is really cute but he’d never admit that

cheol is just like “yeah hi this is y/n i promised her we’d hangout today but i forgot about our plans so here she is”

he’s just like ok whatever can we work now

so they start working on a new song and you offer a small bit of constructive criticism on one of his beats

aND HE JUST GIVES YOU A LOOK

like “is this binch serious”

but he makes an adjustment anyway and is really pissed when it actually sounds really good

and thus is begins.. jihoon decides he does not like you

that night at the dorms seungcheol goes into his room and is like “hey y/n is sorry if she upset you today she’s used to me always wanting her suggestions on tracks she thought you wouldn’t mind”

jihoon’s just like “yeah k just don’t bring her to my studio again”

so he doesn’t even though he knows jihoon was being dramatic and would actually like you if he gave you a chance

fast forward like a month later when cheol decides to bring you to the studio with him again and guess who’s there too

jihoon sees you walk in and is just like no no choi seungcheol what did i tell you

an hour passes of you just sitting there watching them silently when cheol gets a call saying he has to come into the pledis building and he’s just like “i’m sorry y/n i have to go can you get a ride home?”

and you’re like yeah that’s fine and you start to head outside with him to call some friends

but jihoon is just like “it’s too cold out you can wait in here” and he doesn’t even look up at you from his work when he says it

and you just smile a little bc wow little angry man has a nice side

so you call almost everyone you know but nobody can do this one favor for you and you start getting really worried bc you know jihoon isn’t fond of you and you don’t want to stay here and bother him

but he can clearly sense you’re worried so he just turns around and tells you he’ll take you home when he’s done

and you tell him you’re sorry for bothering him but you really appreciate it

he just gives a nod and turns around to keep working

so you just stay in your little corner and play on your phone and wait for him to be done

and he just goes silent and looks back at the screen and starts working again

you guys start actually talking and you tell him about how you really like making music but you don’t really let people listen to it

around 10pm he decides it’s kinda late and should actually take you home

once he gets back to the dorm he walks in and cheol is there like “how did it go”

and jihoon just gives him this look like you did that on purpose huh?

seungcheol is just like yes u doofus i knew you’d like her so i took matters into my own hands

fast forward a few weeks again and now jihoon is calling you to come into the studio almost every night

and you happily oblige and come help him

but there’s one night where he keeps you there for so long and you get so tired and you just feel yourself lean your head on his shoulder and start to fall asleep

and his entire body goes stiff and he’s just like uhhhhh oh dear

that’s when he realizes that oh no no she’s really cute my heart is doing the ting

make it stop

he shakes you a little bit and you just lift your head up and apologize and he’s like no it’s okay but that’s can’t be comfy go sit on the couch

so you do and he finds himself saving his work and going over there with you

you lean your whole body into him and just get comfy and start to close your eyes and your almost asleep but you just feel a shy little pair of lips on your forehead

you look up and jihoon is a blUSHING MESS BC OH MY GOD WHY DID I JUST DO THAT

but you lift yourself up a little bit and kiss his forehead back

and he turns into a smol woozi puddle bc omg

he’s just like “i was an ass at first and i’m really sorry because you’re great and i’d really like if we could be like this more”

and it begins

you and jihoon start dating and he really didn’t know he could be this happy

you start getting more confident with your music and you let him listen to it and it means so much to him

when cheol finds out he’s just like okAY JIHOON WHAT DID I TELL YOU

but at the end of the day jihoon is really happy seungcheol brought you to the studio bc you are the light of his life and you inspire him so much and he’s so thankful for you

kyungsoo: he came second or at least i admitted that he was my bias mostly bc i got more kyungsoo biased friends on here and had so much of him on my dash usually but i also liked his voice best from when i could differentiate exo’s voices it just goes straight into your soul and idc what others say the fact that he’s not really a dancer but can dance really well, cook really well, tap dance, beatbox and so many more things like hello? that’s crazy? and then he goes into acting and smacks his acting skills right into our faces without a warning. it’s okay it’s love is still one of my alltime fav kdramas and his acting in i remember you and along with the gods just....wow plus his laugh can cure anything and his heart-smile makes me weak and he’s just so beautiful

minseok: i should’ve called him my bias much sooner than i did lmao looking back on me blogging about him is so funny i think i never stood a chance considering overdose was my first comeback and he came straight at me with the pink hair and then never left off attacking me i also loved his dance solo in the lost planet so much and then i find out he makes the worst puns and he got a cat and that cute lil hand habit of his and i also always found his eyes so pretty and intriguing and then came saldaga and his high note and i was GONE like wtf he just holds you in so easily without you even noticing and i think that’s what i like most about him just this raw power he’s got while he often stays rather in the background (until he isn’t like exo’luxion) he’s an amazing performer and i hope we get to see lots more of him :)

lucas looking @ riley pt. 2

so, as promised, i’m continuing to post every file that i have of lucas looking at riley because apparently you guys all want to suffer and i want to suffer right along side you !!! it’s been like three weeks but i kind of forgot that this one was in my drafts but i hope that you all enjoy it!!!!! this post covers the rest of s2 (cory & topanga - legacy) and then the next (and last) post will be covering s3. so enjoy this one fam!!!!!!!! it’s painful but it’s worth it i promise!!!!!

alright fam let’s kick this one off with lucas’ iconic eyebrow raise to riley in cory & topanga, there is no reason for him to be lowkey flirting with her in the middle of class and yet..here we are 

when riley gets a text from her bully, lucas looks so concerned like he doesn’t even know what’s happening yet and he’s concerned 

“someone gets hurt” now i don’t know exactly why lucas looked right at riley when he said this but needless to say it’s got me fucked up 

OK not to be overdramatic or anything but this look right here..,..killed me...,..he looks so..,..worried and sad...,also that zoomed in version of this cap where you can see his tear....i’m fucked up 

lucas looked at riley as soon as mr. matthews said “it’s ok to ask for help” probably because he wants to be someone who riley comes to when she needs help i’m crying

lucas literally just keeps looking at riley throughout this entire scene he was so concerned about her rip me truly 

lucas friar is completely Shook by the fact that someone could not find riley’s adorableness equally as adorable like, he doesn’t get it at all 

i like to call these two caps, lucas friar proud unofficial boyfriend™seriously, he was so proud of her for standing up for herself, he’s so in love 

i love this look so much, this lowkey looks like peyton couldn’t help but laugh a lil at rowan coming into the classroom but they left it in anyways, but either way it’s so cute he’s so amused by her i love 

alright so back to the pain, he was so relieved and amazed when she told him how much she believed in him !!! kill me !!!! 

do you ever just think about how desperately lucas friar wants riley matthews to be proud of him and cry a lil bit like he values her opinion of him so much

the lil smile lucas has on his face when riley does her little “he hee” is the cutest fucking thing in the entire universe 

tbh every face that lucas makes whenever riley mentions that they are brother and sister makes me want to die but this one is especially heartbreaking i want death

remember when maya dropped the “lucas and i had a moment” bomb in the middle of class and all lucas cared about was how riley was gonna react iconic 

look at his face when she says yes to going out with charlie !!!! he looks so hurt!!!! please kill me!!!!!!!!! 

ok first off i’m zay in the bg, also the way lucas looks at riley this entire scene and reacts to her date with charlie makes me cry he was so upset

he looks so lowkey amused by her ranting about beary the bear bear in the middle of class like at his lil face 

he always looks so happy around her my lil son 

that time him and maya were having a conversation about their homework/beliefs and lucas just took a lil mental breather to look over at riley doing her homework, what does this have to do with the scene??? nothing that’s what 

rucas don’t have to look at each other all goofy and smiley like that??? they don’t have to do that to me!!! 

tell me this doesn’t look like he’s smiling right at riley do you ever just...crave death 

things are so awkward between them at this point but this look??? iconic. (also i love how riley sat down so close to him like there’s no space between them) 

this lil doofus got so excited talking about what riley does when they watch movies like i can’t believe he knows all this about her off the top of his head what a peach

remember during the first real triangle scene at the end of new year, lucas looked at riley but didn’t look at maya #iconic 

when she’s singing him her song about zombies, could he be even more in love with her goofiness??? i don’t think so (still bitter that apparently there’s a deleted scene that adds more context to this scene) 

even when he’s trying to be Mad™ about the whole cheating thing, he still looks pretty adorably at riley, that head tilt saved lives 

lucas friar has the subtly of a hand grenade when it comes to riley matthews, like i see that fucking lip bite boy don’t even try 

LOOK AT MY BOY’S SUNSHINEY SMILE IN THIS SCENE WHEN LOOKING AT RILEY (also riley’s lil grin in both of these, can u believe they’re in love) 

this poor boy..,..didn’t want to hurt anyone..,.the look on his face at the mere Thought of hurting riley makes me want to die 

lucas smiling at riley through the window of the classroom, truly it’s gotta be second nature to this boy by now to just smile at riley in the middle of any class 

this entire scene fucks me up but look at this poor boy’s face..,..he loves her so much i’m gonna deactivate my account
