This year has been so wild, we’ve got a few more scandals to dive into before we turn the page on 2022. With Tory Lanez being convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion and Elon Musk saying he wants to step down from Twitter, it feels like this year is going to be crazy right up until the clock strikes midnight on Dec. 31.

The Girls Trip star was the subject of a lawsuit alongside comedian Aries Spears, when a deeply inappropriate sketches featuring two child actors performing sexually suggestive acts resurfaced. The mother of the female victim filed a lawsuit accusing the two comics of child sexual abuse, sexual harassment, sexual battery. The two sketches were made for the Funny or Die website, with one of them titled “Through a Pedophile’s Eyes.” There is no world in which any of the adults involved should have thought this was ok.

As the story broke and Haddish was criticized for putting these kids in such a dangerous situation, she commented on Instagram about the matter, writing, “I know people have a bunch of questions. I get it. I’m right there with you. Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little I can say right now. But, clearly, while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn’t funny at all—and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it. I really look forward to being able to share a lot more about this situation as soon as I can.” In September, the lawsuit was dropped, but that didn’t stop Haddish from becoming persona non grata in Hollywood. She confirmed to TMZthat she “lost everything” and all her jobs are gone.
Tory Lanez Convicted of Shooting Megan Thee Stallion
The December trial of Tory Lanez ended the year as one of 2022’s most talked about topics. The rapper was convicted on all charges for shooting Megan Thee Stallion back in 2020. But as women everywhere know, just because there’s proof that a man victimized you, it doesn’t mean the world will back you up. In the months leading up to the trial, Megan was inundated with online abuse as her story was repeatedly questioned and became an easy punching bag for certain hip-hop artists.

In response to Tory’s conviction, his family has started a petition, while some of his fans are trying to paint him as a martyr. No, he’s just another small, pathetic man who assaulted a Black woman and doesn’t want to suffer the consequences of those actions, because he thinks he’s entitled to treat her some kind of way.
Elon Musk buys Twitter
You know how you sometimes make an impulsive purchase, but then can’t find a way to return the item. That’s the situation the richest man in the world, Elon Musk, found himself in after he bought Twitter for $44 billion in October. It very quickly became clear that the old rules and protections wouldn’t be honored as the so-called “free speech absolutist” took power. In fact, white supremacists and conspiracy theorists who had previously had their accounts suspended, celebrated because they thought Musk’s Twitterwould be more accepting of their hate speech.

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO then proceeded to layoff thousands of employees, and asked those that remained to work unreasonable overtime or also be cut. And of course, he has no respect for how Black Twitter has helped grow the platform. Everyday, more celebrities and public figures announce their exit from the social media site, leaving us to wonder if Twitter will survive through 2023, and what could take its place if it does die.
See original story below:
From Will Smith’s Oscars slap to the affair that rocked Good Morning America, 2022 was full of crazy, unforgettable moments. I thought I’d save you some time and recap them all in one handy place. Plus, some of these happened so long ago that we needed to check back in on where things stand now.

GMA3 Hosts Affair
All you had to do was host your peppy morning talk show and not get in trouble. But apparently that was asking too much of T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach. In early December, the GMA3 co-hosts found themselves in one of the biggest scandals of the year when their affair was discovered by the press. This led to speculation about their marriages, paparazzi blowback on their families and serious repercussions to their careers.
Both have been “benched” by ABC while the network continues to conduct an investigation into the situation, which is corporate speak for “we’re going to quietly fire them when you’re not paying attention.” Robach will find a way to bounce back because there’s always room for a blonde white woman with personality in the TV business, but Holmes’ reputation has been ruined, as this controversy has opened the door for other illicit rumors to pop up. It will be interesting to see the different paths they take as they try to salvage their careers in 2023.
The Slap
Remember way back in March when Will Smith was on his way to finally winning an Oscar for Best Actor and all he had to do to receive his flowers was make it through one commercial break? Yeah, that seems like an eternity ago to me, too. We all audibly gasped when, after Chris Rock made a callous joke about his wife Jada’s bald head, Will marched onstage, slapped the comedian in the face and yelled at him “keep my wife’s name out your fucking mouth.” At first, everyone questioned whether this was some kind of sketch, but it quickly became clear that this was no joke. Will went on to win, but the achievement was overshadowed by his actions. The decades he spent building himself up as one of the most respected and popular actors in the world evaporated in an instant. He’s since apologized, but that may not be enough for him to make a real comeback.
As the year comes to an end, he’s receiving praise for his work in Emancipation and some fans seem ready to forgive him. But the Fresh Prince still has a long road ahead before he can possibly get back to where he was. This may have started the year as the moment everyone was talking about, but now that we’ve seen how wild 2022 turned out to be, it’s actually like the fifth or sixth most scandalous thing to happen this year.
The Downfall of Kanye West
Kanye West can yell and scream about being the victim of a conspiracy all he wants, but the hard truth is the only person to blame for the collapse of his career is himself. Turns out that when you spew anti-Black BS and disgusting antisemitic speech, no one wants to sell your music or clothes anymore. It started with a hateful, and clearly ignorant, social media post, which led several companies to distance themselves from the rapper. He then embarked on a hate-filled tour with the absolute worst elements of the far-right, including an appearance on InfoWars with Alex Jones, where he actually said, “I see good things about Hitler.”
So the man who was once one of the most influential voices in the Black community, and who famously said “George Bush doesn’t care about Black people” on a Hurricane Katrina telethon, is now hanging out with white supremacists and praising Hitler. Yeah, that’s a thing that actually happened in 2022.
Nia Long and Ime Udoka
Ime Udoka started the year on a high note. He led the Boston Celtics to the NBA Finals and was the envy of everyone as he celebrated with his partner, actress Nia Long. Unfortunately, all that changed when the team held a surprising press conference in September announcing that he was being suspended by the team for having a consensual, yet improper relationship with a female Celtics employee. With the whole world watching her private trouble play out across sports media, Long took care of her children, making sure they were protected from the storm.
In the end the couple, who had been together for 13 years, decided to split up. They plan to focus on co-parenting their son, while Long is looking to start fresh in 2023 with The Best Man: The Final Chapters and her new movie You People.
The Wendy Williams Show Ends Without Wendy
After 13 seasons of Hot Topics and “How you doin,’” The Wendy Williams Show came to an all-too-quiet and somewhat sad end in June. As Wendy addressed multiple medical issues, Season 13 of her show was helmed by a series of guest hosts. Once it became clear that Williams wouldn’t be able to return, producers decided to hand off the show to the most popular and experienced of those hosts, Sherri Shepherd.
As the end date approached for The Wendy Williams Show, fans began to wonder if the titular star would make one final appearance on the program. She didn’t show up for the finale, and the series just sort of ended as its social media accounts began to randomly disappear. And just like that, The Wendy Williams Show went out with a whimper, not with the bang we always assumed it would.
Honestly, so much happened this year, I’ve only scratched the surface of the biggest scandals of the year. I need a whole other article to cover whatever is going on at Twitter, assuming it’s still around after the holidays.

Trump found guilty (Yahoo News) Donald Trump was convicted of falsifying business records to influence the 2016 presidential campaign Thursday in a historic trial that saw a former U.S. president face criminal charges for the first time. A New York jury found Trump guilty of 34 counts, related to a $130,000 payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels. The prosecution had alleged Daniels was paid to keep secret a 2006 tryst she had with Trump in order to influence the results of the 2016 election, which Trump ultimately won. The trial lasted a month and a half and was plenty eventful. In addition to the fiery testimonies of Daniels and Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen, Trump was held in contempt of court 10 times and fined $10,000 for violating a gag order against attacking people involved with the trial. Trump, who did not testify in his defense, has yet to be sentenced in the case and is likely to appeal the verdict.
More people make ‘no-buy year’ pledges (AP) A 35-year-old Brooklyn resident gave up buying new clothes. A 22-year old in San Diego swore off retail therapy at Target. A 26-year old in England banned carbonated drinks from her shopping list. These three women, who don’t know each other, all started the year resolving to spend money only on necessary purchases, or what is popularly known as engaging in a no-buy challenge. The self-imposed rules of the challenge are simple: participants pledge to stop buying non-essential items, be they unneeded shoes, additional beauty products or other impulse buys for a set amount of time, usually 12 months. What started several years ago as a blogged-about experiment in budgeting and mindful spending has become a popular trend on social media. For Elysia Berman, a creative director who lives in Brooklyn, adopting a more frugal lifestyle is serving one purpose: paying down her credit card debt. “It wasn’t like I wanted to challenge myself. I’m really in a position where this is a necessary next step for me,” she said. While the trend has been growing for some time, the beginning of 2024 provided another opportunity for people to gain back agency over their finances following the “doom spending” of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Courtney Alev, a consumer financial advocate for the personal finance company Credit Karma.
Biden to Allow Ukraine to Use U.S. Weapons to Strike Inside Russia (NYT) The Biden administration has decided to allow Ukraine to strike inside Russia with U.S.-made weapons with the aim of blunting Russia’s attacks in the Kharkiv area, senior American officials said on Thursday. The decision follows weeks of discussion with the Ukrainians after Russia began a major assault on Kharkiv, the second-largest city in Ukraine. Because Kharkiv is near Russia, in the northeast of Ukraine, the Russian military has been hitting the area around the city with artillery and missiles fired or launched from inside Russian territory, and the Ukrainians have asked the Americans to give them greater leeway in defending Kharkiv, an American official said. A senior American official in Washington said the administration’s policy prohibiting Ukraine from using U.S.-made weapons for “long range” attacks inside Russia had not changed.
Mexico goes to the polls (AP) Mexico goes into Sunday’s election deeply divided: friends and relatives no longer talk politics for fear of worsening unbridgeable divides, while drug cartels have split the country into a patchwork quilt of warring fiefdoms. The atmosphere is literally heating up, amid a wave of unusual heat, drought, pollution and political violence. It’s unclear whether Mexico’s next president will be able to rein in the underlying violence and polarization. Soledad Echagoyen, a Mexico City doctor who supports President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s Morena party, says she can no longer talk about politics with her colleagues. “In order to not lose friendships, we decided not to bring up politics starting six years ago, because we were arguing, and the attacks started to get personal,” said Dr. Echagoyen.
Diplomatic spat (Foreign Policy) Brazil withdrew its ambassador to Israel on Wednesday. According to a source at the Brazilian foreign ministry, the decision was in response to Israel’s “humiliation” of the Brazilian diplomat, whom Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz summoned for a mandatory tour of the Yad Vashem memorial museum to reprimand Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva for comparing Israel’s actions in Gaza to the Holocaust. Israel said it will summon Brazil’s chargé d’affaires on Thursday.
Hold the French Fries! Paris Olympics Chart a New Gastronomic Course. (NYT) There will be no French fries for the 15,000 athletes at the Olympic Games that open in France in July. Yes, you read that right. In what is being called the biggest restaurant in the world—a 700-foot-long former electrical power plant at the heart of the Olympic Village—there will be no foie gras, either, but vegetarian hot dogs and quinoa muesli will abound. Strolling the length of what is known as the nave, a light-filled vaulted space where some 45,000 meals a day will be served 24/7 throughout the Olympics and Paralympics, Stéphane Chicheri and Charles Guilloy, the chefs in charge, sang the praises of vegetarian shawarma, za’atar-spiced sweet potatoes with hummus, cabbage pickles, beetroot falafel and grilled eggplant with smoked paprika.
Elections are not wasted on the young in EU. Some nations allow 16-year-olds to decide in June polls (AP) Youth leader Rareș Voicu remembers like it was yesterday when he went to the polls five years ago for the European Union elections in his Romanian hometown of Brăila. The problem was that he was 16 years old at the time and not eligible to cast a ballot. Once his family went into the voting booths, he knew he could not. Now 21 years old, Voicu is leading a drive to make sure as many 16- and 17-year-olds as possible go to the June 6-9 polls in the five member states of the 27-nation bloc that allow them to vote. In the other nations, the minimum voting age still stands at 18, like it is in the United States. The voting age is set at 16 in Austria, Belgium, Germany and Malta and 17 in Greece. In Belgium, voting is mandatory.
Growing up under fire (BBC) Close to 2,000 children have been injured or killed in Ukraine since Vladimir Putin launched his full-scale invasion. But many of the scars experienced by young Ukrainians are invisible. Lera saw the missile that hurt her seconds before it hit. It was a hot summer holiday and the centre of Chernihiv was busy. She and her friend, Kseniya, were trying to sell their homemade jewellery to the passing crowd “I saw something flying from up to down. I thought it was some kind of plane that would go up again, but it was a missile,” Lera says, the words tumbling out at high speed like she doesn’t want to dwell on their meaning. After the explosion, she ran back and forth in panic on her mangled leg before she realised she’d been injured. Nine months later, the wounds are healing well and she moves nimbly on her crutches. But she still struggles with the sound of air raid sirens. “If they say there’s a missile heading for Chernihiv then I go crazy,” she admits. “It’s really bad.” She insists she’s coping, and hasn’t changed, but her sister isn’t so sure. “You’re more explosive,” Irina tells her. Lera nods sheepishly. “I wasn’t so aggressive before.”
Soldiers in Ukraine say US-supplied tanks have made them targets for Russian strikes (CNN) Ukrainian crews working on US-supplied Abrams tanks have told CNN of a series of the weaknesses and flaws with the armored vehicles, calling into doubt their utility on the war’s ever-changing frontlines. CNN journalists were the first reporters to see the M1 Abrams in Ukraine, at a location in the country’s east. Crews trained in Germany said the vehicles—the US military’s main $10 million battle tank used in Iraq against Saddam Hussein’s forces and insurgents—lacked armor that could stop modern weapons. “Its armor is not sufficient for this moment,” said one crew member, callsign Joker. “It doesn’t protect the crew. For real, today this is the war of drones. So now, when the tank rolls out, they always try to hit them.” His colleague, Dnipro, added they are the “number one target.” Much of the Ukrainian frontline is now dominated by the use of self-destructing attack drones, tiny and accurate devices that can swarm infantry and even cause significant damage to tanks. The advent of these so called First-Person Vision (FPV) drones, flown by soldiers wearing gaming goggles, has changed the nature of the war.
'A trial of the pro-democracy movement' (BBC) In March 2021, authorities in Hong Kong charged activists involved in the territory's pro-democracy demonstrations with subversion. It was the widest use yet of a controversial security law that was passed the previous year. Of those, 16 pleaded not guilty. The court, which lacked many of the rights and conditions guaranteeing a fair trial, decided on the verdicts on Thursday. It convicted 14 activists, while two were acquitted. They remain on bail pending the determination of the appeal. To date, nearly 300 people have been arrested under the security law, which legal experts have criticised as silencing dissent. This was “a trial of Hong Kong’s pro-democracy movement,” said Eric Lai, a research fellow at the Georgetown Center for Asian Law. Sentencing of the activists is expected at a later date. They face a maximum term of life imprisonment.
Gaza Offensive to Last at Least to Year’s End, Israeli Official Says (NYT) Israel’s national security adviser said Wednesday that he expected military operations in Gaza to continue through at least the end of the year, appearing to dismiss the idea that the war could come to an end after the military offensive against Hamas in Rafah. “We expect another seven months of combat in order to shore up our achievement and realize what we define as the destruction of Hamas and Islamic Jihad’s military and governing capabilities,” Tzachi Hanegbi, the national security adviser, said in a radio interview with Kan, the Israeli public broadcaster. Mr. Hanegbi’s assessment of at least another seven months of military operations appeared to be at odds with earlier projections by Mr. Netanyahu, who said in April that the country was “on the brink of victory” in its war against Hamas.
Israel Used U.S.-Made Bombs in Strike That Killed Dozens Near Rafah (NYT) The bombs used in the Israeli strike that killed dozens of Palestinians in a camp for displaced people near Rafah on Sunday were made in the United States, according to weapons experts and visual evidence reviewed by The New York Times. Munition debris filmed at the strike location the next day was remnants from a GBU-39, a bomb designed and manufactured in the United States, The Times found. U.S. officials have been pushing Israel to use more of this type of bomb, which they say can reduce civilian casualties. The key detail in the weapon debris was the tail actuation system, which controls the fins that guide the GBU-39 to a target, according to Trevor Ball, a former U.S. Army explosive ordnance disposal technician, who earlier identified the weapon on X. The weapon’s unique bolt pattern and slot where the folding fins are stowed were clearly visible in the debris, Mr. Ball said. U.S. officials have been encouraging the Israeli military for months to increase the use of GBU-39 bombs in Gaza because they are generally more precise and better suited to urban environments than larger bombs, including U.S.-made 2,000-pound bombs that Israel routinely uses.
Not a gym rat? Try an outdoor exercise routine (AP) Between the sweat smell, fluorescent lights and omnipresent television screens, April Herring has never connected with going to the gym. Instead, she runs, bikes, hikes, plays tennis, pickleball and football—anything to get her exercise outside as often as possible. “Fresh air, sunshine, the variety of the trees as the seasons change,” said Herring, an administrator at Carroll Community College in North Maryland. “There’s something about the energetic healing quality of nature.” The health benefits of spending time in nature have long been established, and exercise in general, of course, improves physical and mental well-being. Combine the two and you double down on what adults need to stay healthy, said Debbie Rhea, professor in kinesiology at Texas Christian University. “We’ve got to get outside. We’ve got to be active,” Rhea said. “If we’re going to live long lives, this is what it’s about.”

Fast fashion and crochet
While we're on the topic of crochet:
Please know that, unlike knitting, crochet cannot be manufactured by machines. This has a few consequences.
Labour exploitation:
Labour exploitation is rampant in the fast fashion industry: without it, the industry simply would not exist.
This means that if you see a genuine crocheted piece in a fast fashion shop, it was made by hand by someone who was paid peanuts for their labour, if paid at all.
Fibre crafts are very labour-intensive. This is why crocheted/hand-knitted items by indie designers are priced the way they are: you're not just paying for the materials. You're also paying for the hours that were needed to design and make the item. Even if the designer were to price those hours at minimum wage, they still add up.
Fast fashion strives to manufacture items as cheaply as possible. A lot of different things make up the final price you pay at a shop, such as design, materials, shipping, packaging, marketing,... Labour is only a fraction of that price, and garment workers rarely get paid a living wage as to keep the prices down.
Take this seven part TikTok breakdown of a crocheted Target bikini top by Drea's Hook, for example. After replicating part of the top, she estimates it would take about 3 hours to crochet the full item by hand (and it was crocheted by hand). That doesn't even account for the materials, the labour needed to sew the lining and the tag, the design, shipping, stock photos,... Yet it only costs $22. If the person who crocheted the top was paid at all, it can hardly have been more than a few cents.
Stolen designs:
On top of labour exploitation, there's been multiple scandals regarding fast fashion brands stealing designs by independent crochet artists such as Knots & Vibes or Loupystudio, among others.
Design theft not only profits off the work done by the original designer without any form of compensation in return, it also devalues the work needed to make an item.
The average person doesn't know how much work goes into making clothes. When fast fashion brands knock off original designs and sell them for a fraction of the price, it propagates the idea that the original item was priced unfairly. After all, why would someone charge €250 for a sweater when you can buy a similar one for €15 at H&M? This way, the industry keeps getting away with exploiting its workers while indie designers struggle to get by.
Can everyone afford to pay that €250? No, of course not. Even that €15 sweater can be a big financial hit if you're on a budget, and we all need clothes to keep us warm in winter. But practical issues aside, I think we can all agree that everyone deserves fair compensation for their work.
Conclusion:
People often assume their clothes have been made by machines. This is a logical assumption given the average fast fashion price tag, but unfortunately it's a wrong one.
Sure, we've got sewing and knitting machines and all other kinds of mechanical helps, but someone still has to work those machines. When an item has to be made by hand, like crochet, it will take longer. If the price tag doesn't reflect this extra labour, then neither will the worker's wage.
This blog will never shame anyone for buying fast fashion. Even if you're aware of the problems within the industry, there's plenty of valid reasons why quitting just isn't an option for most of us. We're stuck in a broken system that we cannot change overnight, and not everyone has access to alternatives.
That doesn't mean we can't chip away at it. Educating yourself about these issues is a big first step. It makes us more conscious about the clothes we wear and the labour and resources that went into making them, which in turn motivates us to take action. If more people were aware of these problems, the industry would be much less likely to get away with them.

Shinya X Christmas Livestream 25th December 2021 (Open part)
Notes: This is a translation of the first part (30 min) of Shinya’s livestream on Christmas. You can still watch it at his channel. Keep in mind he is the only talking, so sometimes he makes long pauses to read comments,  just jump from one topic to another or answer comments directly.
----
Shinya starts greeting everyone and wishing a Merry Christmas. He says he hasn’t done a livestream since September and asks the viewers how everyone spent their Christmas day. He reads some comments.
Shinya: Yes I’m wearing a Santa hat, because it’s Christmas. You wear it once a year, last year I couldn’t wear one. It seems that many people were working today even though it’s Saturday so…good job! It seems many people started their holidays yesterday too….
He reads another comment.
Shinya: Yes, I also have a christmas tree *points at the Christmas tree* I decorated it last year too….*reads more comment* You are working until 29th ohhh….ehhh….ehh….”I’m working tomorrow as well”…..”I’m still working”…. ehhh…There are many people working until the 31st….Me…..I have nothing to do until 31st, but once the year begins I have to start recording….after recording, the rehearsals for Shinkiba live starts….it seems that many of you couldn’t get tickets for Shinkiba….I’m really sorry….how was it for you, guys? Could you get tickets? You couldn’t?....there are people saying they are going both days….that’s amazing…*reads comments* “I lost”, “I lost”…. It seems like 98% of people lost the lottery….Maybe…. it may or may not be recorded…in case there is one….please look forward to it…(*subtle Shinya lol*)
He adds once Shinkiba lives are done, he has an event with Seraph. He puts on screen the flyer of the event and explains the details of their first live after two years. He says the first part of the event is going to be a live performance, and the second part a talk. Only Shinya channel members can buy VIP tickets, so if you want to buy one, you still can subscribe to his channel. You can also only watch the second part of this livestream if you are a Shinya channel member.
He appears again on screen asking people to not confuse halls, as this is in Otemachi and not in Shimbashi.
Shinya: What should we talk about? I’m going to see the comments….*reads comments* you are talking about Shinkiba…..yes, I decorated the tree myself….it was quite tiresome…decorating was ok….but cleaning up after that was hard…..”what’s on the table?”….on the table?...you mean this? *points at the table* that’s a candle….
Shinya: I uploaded a video about Wikipedia yesterday….did you guys watch it?....it’s 35 min though…ah!...once I posted the video, the Wikipedia page was fixed with the right information….thank you to those who corrected it!....Some things were written in more detail than I said, so it became a proper wikipedia page….thank you!....please watch it!...they corrected it really fast….it was already changed when I looked at it a few hours later….a thing that  was added is that solving mysteries is one of my hobbies…
Shinya talks again about Shinkiba. He says there is a deer head in the dressing room. As Shinkiba is closing, he says he wants to get that head, so he might ask someone. He says he has no interest in other items from Shinkiba.
Shinya: “Maybe you can get it as a birthday present”…. Eh….for that, someone had to made a reservation…the people involved (staff)…..*reads a comment* I’m wearing my apple watch…I use it to track my sleeping time….today I slept 7 hours and 21 minutes…I slept from 2:05 min to 7:24… and from 14:22 to 16:47…*he tries to show the app on his phone to the screen but its blurry*… You can’t see it…..oh, I don’t wear rings usually……*reads a comment* Yes, I don’t wear it when I have a bath….I charge it when I’m taking a bath…cause it usually charges within an hour….Films I have watched recently?.....mmm…more than films, I rewatched Prison Break after a few years….I just watched until season 4…..and I saw they have a 5 season so I rewatched it from season 1….I watched the whole thing in 5 days….Prison Break is really interesting….I like Bellick too…..I hated him at first but, I ended up liking him….
 ..
Shinya: *Answering a comment* I will archive this livestream if the talk is exciting….if it’s exciting, I think I’m going to archive it…until now, it’s not, so I don’t know…..*reading an comment* “Do you actually play a stringed instrument when you write a song?”….I did in the past…now I use computer software….cause recently it has the sound of a real guitar so I fully do it with the computer…..
..
Shinya: You all are just writing “this talk is exciting” is it exciting?....I guess I will archive the livestream then….there is no sound in this room right now, so I don’t know if it’s exciting or not at all….”I want to see how do you display your board game collection”…..my board collection is…..*points at the mirror behind him* it’s in there… that mirror glass wall…..I can’t open it though….”It’s a ninja house”…..it’s not…my favourite board now….it’s one you have to construct typical ojisan sentences….it has many cards…you have to line them up and make gross typical ojisan sentences…it has really weird words…. The point is to create sentences with really gross words….
Shinya explains a bit amore about the game.
Shinya: “Do you know the members LINE?”…..eh….I just know Die’s….I sent him a LINE message for his birthday… ehh….*checks his phone* What did I send to him?.....”Happy birthday! Please keep improving your muscle training this year as well”….I got a “Thank you” stamp as a reply…I don’t see the members since the final tour live in Shizuoka….it’s been already a month since the end of the tour…I’m not seeing them anymore this year, I will see them next year at the Shinkiba rehearsal…I’m not going to see them for a while…
..
Shinya: Have you listened to Kyo’s Petit Brabacon? *laughs* I listened to the 3 songs yesterday at Spotify…everyone is writing “petit”…..haven’t you listened to petit brabacon yet?... petit…. Yukihiro’s drumming is amazing…. Ohhh tomorrow is L’arc en ciel live….I might be going…I might go or not….as tomorrow is the tour final…I might go…
..
Shinya: I tried to find  a way to call Seraph’s fans once….somehow,as Seraph is an angel/heavenly…I thought something like “humans”….but “humans”….if “humans” come to a Dir live, when  Kyo sings the “Let’s stop being humans” line…(from Diabolos)….at the same time it’s going to be like if they were told to stop being a Seraph fan….that’s really problematic..isn’ t it?....
Shinya: “Do you have any plans for your drum set next tour?”… Right now….it changed a bit…I think the cymbals are going to change a bit…I talked last time about using brown drumsticks..I want to try that….Shinkiba goods….now the designs are being checked….I’m also thinking about Seraph’s goods, if there is something you want, please write it….
Shinya: Kyo told me he wanted to play games with me, but I don’t play fortnite…..Dead by Daylight is an option….talking about videogames…I was going to receive on the 27th a gaming computer, but it arrived yesterday…right now is there….*points at it*…from now on, I will play Dead by Daylight on my computer…. fortnite is interesting….everyone plays fortnite and Apex….time ago I used to play Game Boy Advance with Kyo, it was at the time you had to use a connection cable to connect both (devices)….we used to play at the airport when we went abroad…..*reading a comment* you play fornite with your family?....I wonder if you can do that with your phone…
Shinya: “Your Yamanote line videos are funny”…thank you so much….next Yamanote video…we are going to Harajuku… if you have any ideas of what content you want to see, please tell me…
Shinya: “You are not selling calendars for next year”….that’s right….we didn’t do one this year, last year we made so many, that forgot about this year…….there were many people in Harajuku, we went to Harajuku from Shibuya….we went on a Saturday….
Some ask if someone noticed it was Shinya while doing his youtube video and Shinya thinks no one noticed it was him, people just realized the camera.
Shinya: “A Seraph calendar that starts in April”….it seems some of you want a Seraph Calendar that starts in April…I will think about it….a daily rip-off-a-page calendar…..that’s a bit complicated....you are really demanding a calendar that starts in April….
(*In japan, fiscal year as well as school year starts in April.*)
Shinya: That’s right…there is a broadcasting on the 29th in wowow, I haven’t checked it so once you watch it, please share what you think about it….the drum’s footage is nice….you can watch wowow on your phone….a lot of you are watching it on tv…do you guys have a tv?....mine is there….*points*….the tv is there, and there are board games around there…. A room tour?...it’s something that could be done anytime….”I want an iphone case”….do you all use iphone?....or are you android?.....It seems a lot of you are iphone….ehhh….it seems that everyone is an iphone user…..please let your comments at the youtube videos….ohhh, it seems that the 30 min had already passed!....I’m changing to the members only livestream….do you already have the link?....Can you see it?....you all are writing that you already have it….so from now on, only blog members can watch the livestream….the livestream will continue there, if you are not a blog member, happy new year! Bye bye….

There’s no one to save me
Ivar/Reader (Modern AU)
A/N: Hi everyone! First and most important thing, HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVE!!💕🎉🎂 @flowers-in-your-hayr I want to wish you all the best on this day, I hope you enjoy this day as much as possible and hope this can make it a bit better! This year may not have been our best birthdays but next year we’ll celebrate them twice! You know I really admire your work but much more as a person! Thank you for always being so so nice, you’re great!💖
Second, here it is, me and my shitty writing. This is the first time I ever write anything (you’ll see) but a lovely little bird came and told me about this amazing surprise (@maggiescarborough 💖) and I couldn’t refuse. This is the moodboard I chose bc when I asked Gabi about it, I wrote more of a mini fic than a request (sorry about that, honey😅) so I thought it’ll be easier since I already have an idea.
And finally, to say that this can be considered as the first chapter of a small fic???, Idk,  if you want to read something else, I will continue it and if not, it can stay as a imagine. (Any feedback you want to give is always welcomed and will help me in the future!)
Okay that’s all, I think. Now I'll shut my mouth and let you guys read in peace😊
All credits to this amazing moodboard for the birthday girl @flowers-in-your-hayr

Words: 3.9k
Warnings: First time writing (biggest warning), mention of death and suicide, cursing, drug dealing, a bit of angst, English not being my mother tongue. (I’m not sure if something else😅).
There you were, (Y/N) (Y/LN), facing the most important case you had encountered in your professional career, which, to tell the truth, was not very long. You were 24 years old and you were a policewoman at the local police station on a small island called Samsø, which together with some others as Læsø, Anholt and Sjælland were known as the 'Kattegat Islands'.
You started there when you were 22, with a lot of effort and after years of dedication, yes, it may sound like a joke, since you were very young, but since your father passed away, you decided to follow in his footsteps. He had become chief of police and worked in what was now your office. His death occurred unexpectedly, one day he went to work and didn't come back, your mother and you didn't know anything, but he had been working on a drug-related case for a long time, and they didn't clarify anything for you after his death either, justifying that it was a case of high danger and a secret file.
When your father died, you were given the belongings he was carrying on the day of his death. You didn't find anything out of the ordinary, just his watch, which had his initials on it, the car keys and his wallet, in which he carried the usual: some money, credit cards and a picture of  your mother and you as a child. From one of the compartments of the wallet, a small fragment of a photo was sticking out. It was very enlarged, only a small part of the face could be seen, it looked like a man, but his face didn't sound familiar to you and besides the fragment was very damaged, so you didn't give it much importance. Although you were intrigued to know the reason for that fragment in your father's wallet and you wanted to know the identity of that person, unfortunately you couldn't do anything about it. You put the items back in the bag and kept it in a drawer that you knew you wouldn't open often since it was with the rest of his belongings.
After this incident, you and your mother faced a difficult time when living at home without him was almost impossible. After a not very long period, you were able to return to your daily life and continued, but however, your mother did not get back on her feet, she went into a great depression. You tried psychologists at first and slowly it looked like she was getting better, but it seems she only did it to fall into an even bigger black hole.
From then on, you contacted a psychiatrist, after a year watching your mother was consumed with sadness you couldn't stand it any longer, even though she was resistant to taking medication you couldn't do anything else. She had been going to the psychiatrist for some time and the truth was that it wasn't going as you expected, your mother had a very negative attitude. She tried to avoid medication when you didn't force her, and for that reason none of the treatments worked.
You were desperate, time was passing, and you didn't know what to do anymore, until one day when you came home and you found your mother breathing very lightly and not responding to any kind of stimulus. She had decided to take her own life with a bottle of pills, yes, how ironic. When she was taken to the hospital, the doctors told you that her vital signs were very bad, the intake of medication had to be over six hours ago, and this had already affected a large part of the system. It was very difficult for her to survive, so much so that she couldn't.
21 years, just 21 years when you were left alone in the world, when everyone was getting drunk and having a hangover and throwing up the next morning, you were there struggling to get where you were today.
Although you couldn't have reached that point without the unconditional support of your father's great friend, Officer Heahmund. He had been like a second father to you, the only one you could lean on when these events occurred. Both he and his wife Anne and their little twins always had a place for you.
You could say you'd been investigating the case for a year and it was huge, really huge. Both you and your colleagues had reached an impasse, you couldn't get anything new, so you decided to take the reins and make a proposal... raid the shelter where the organization was hiding. You had managed, after a long time of tracking them down, to find out that every Thursday at 11.30 p.m. they went out to do business. If you calculated it perfectly, you could set up an ambush, surround the perimeter with your agents strategically, and force your way in, so you could examine the interior for clear, incriminating evidence and wait for them to come back and finally catch them and finish the damn case. From that point on, the game would begin.
Ivar Lothbrook, or also known as Ivar the Boneless, was the person you were chasing. Known to be the leader of the organization. Information about him was quite scarce, the son of a bitch knew how to remain anonymous, you didn't even know what he looked like. Although he also took part in the weekly excursions, he never got out of the vehicle they were in and you didn't dare get close enough to the shelter to see them leave, just as a precaution, so as not to spoil the case. All you knew was that the nickname he had earned was due to a disease he suffered from that made him unable to walk, Osteogenesis Imperfecta.
But you did know something else about his brothers, who were in charge of leading the band when they were doing field work and his brother Ivar was not there. There were three more brothers, the elder Ubbe, the second Hvitserk and the last Sigurd. You had pictures of them, which you had studied to a tee, and they didn't have any kind of background, something that caught your attention because in all these bands it's something common, but it seems that they were playing clean.
Tomorrow would be the big day and you had no margin for error. You decided to leave it at that, not think about it anymore. You opened a bottle of wine and ordered dinner at your favourite restaurant. You were going to enjoy that night quietly before going into action.
That night you practically didn't rest, your head didn't stop thinking and you were fighting against it for a long time, until finally you were victorious, being able to sleep. You promised yourself that it wouldn't be the only thing you would be victorious in.
The sound of the alarm woke you up, it was very early, although there were still hours to go, you had to be ready and needed to do certain things before preparing. You had arranged to meet at 8pm at the police station, you would go over the plan and wait until 10.30pm to put the plan into action. The day went away, you had gone out to buy some things that you needed, you had done some sport to clear your mind and you had taken a bath for an hour and a half which helped to relax each of your muscles that had been in constant tension for several days.
You got out of the shower, you started to fix yourself and for a moment you looked in the mirror, from bottom to top, and you looked into your eyes, you saw your father, you saw him in you.
- “Ivar, Ivar, what little freedom you have left” - You said in a defiant voice as you kept looking at yourself and feeling sure that everything would go as you planned.
What you didn't consider at the time is that in a game you don't always win, and even less when you don't know your opponent.
A phone call took you out of your thoughts, you hesitated for a few seconds before reacting, you went into the kitchen and picked up the phone:
- “Hi, (Y/N) here”.
- “Hello, sweetheart, how are you?” Your boss asked with some concern in his voice.
-  “I'm doing good, getting ready to leave soon. Anything happened?”
-  “No, nothing, I just wanted to remind you, that you still have time to stop this, I can send another partner, I don't want you to do this out of obligation” - said Heahmund, with some hesitation.
- “Heahmund, we've talked about this a million times, I'm gonna take care of it. We've gone over the plan every day; we've looked at alternatives in case the first option doesn't work out and you have an expert in infiltrating other people's homes in charge of the plan... What can go wrong? Trust me, before you can tell, we're in your backyard drinking beers with Anne and the girls, celebrating together as a family, while Ivar the Boneless is rotting in jail” - You said with certainty
- “Ever since you were a little girl I've always admired that about you: Determined, brave and a fighter, which has always made you achieve everything you set out to do - he answered with a broken voice” - I just wanted to wish you the best of luck in the world now that no one is around. See you in a bit, Agent 007.
As he spoke you noticed some concern in his voice, was Heahmund afraid of the mission?... Impossible, he was known for his courage and dedication but in this situation,  you could not avoid that this insecurity that you did not feel for a long time will hit you again.
Since the death of your father you had changed, you had become steel, as you said, you had no heart for anyone, you had focused so much on getting ahead and getting what you had in mind that you had forgotten one very important thing, being a teenager. And now that time was gone.
Still, you burst out laughing when he called you Agent 007
- “Thank you, Jack Bauer” - you said, playing along, referring to those movies and action shows you loved to watch together when you were younger.
You hung up and then felt a sense of emptiness and… fear? No, you weren't going to let that happen. You certainly knew that you had to occupy your mind at that moment, or you would go crazy. So, you connected your phone to the speaker and put on your favourite playlist and time passed with you getting ready until it was time to leave. You took the bike keys, a beautiful Harley-Davidson and got going.
When you arrived at the police station your colleagues and Heahmund were already there, you went over the plan and waited for the exact time to start.
It was 11:15, the game had begun. You were about to head for the first stop on your mission. The aim in this phase was to park in the surroundings of the main highway, where Ivar and his people had to go through, so you could check that everything was in order, and that the usual Thursday trip would take place. You arrived before time, it was night and the highway was slightly illuminated by distant lanterns. The place had been carefully chosen as there were certain points where you could wait in stealth.
As time passed, you became more and more nervous and couldn't help it. There was something in your head that wouldn't let you concentrate. Heahmund noticed it and said:
-  “What's going on in that little head, (Y/N)?” - He said in a sweet tone.
-  “Hmm...nothing, I'm fine” - you whispered as you looked for his glance and smiled.
-  “Come on, (Y/N), I know you too well to know that something is bothering you”
- “Ugh, I hate you Heahmund… what if they don't come, if for whatever reason today doesn't happen” - you said losing your nerve a little
-  “Hey, hey, hey and this? Where's my little fighter? They're going to do it, you'll see, and before dawn they'll all be behind bars”
- “How can you be so sure?”
- “I just know” - he said with confidence and came up to you kissing you on the head
You needed it, you needed someone telling you that everything would be fine, with your 24 years you were tired of playing grown-up, strong and lonely. You had always needed that love, but that side of you was known only by Heahmund and he had always been there to give it to you.
You did not have much more time to get melancholy, it was happening, Ivar and his people could be seen from afar. They were organized in three black armoured cars and four motorcycles guarding the sides. You saw how they passed before you, in a heartbeat everything you had feared had happened, the only part of the plan that did not fall on you had worked. Now everything depended on you. You waited a few minutes and both of you, along with several patrol cars, set off. Some of your colleagues stayed in the place so that they could control when they returned and thus warn those of you who were going to the shelter.
Second stop on the mission, the shelter. Ivar and his people owned an apartment building where they used to stay permanently, it was on the outskirts of town, in the middle of nowhere. You had left your vehicles a few meters behind, also hidden, so as not to cause any noise. You found yourselves walking quietly in the dark with your guns in hand, towards an old building. When you reached the right distance, you appreciated the immensity of the building with enough housing to accommodate several families. The facade was neglected, yellowish-coloured, and you could see the doors of each house, white and many of them peeling and battered. Plus, right next door was what looked like a big warehouse. Everything was surrounded by metal fences.
Your companions began to take their positions as you had planned and you and Heahmund continued to approach, until you reached the side of the fence so that you could climb without attracting attention.
You looked at Heahmund and nodded just as you turned to move forward alone you noticed how he grabbed your arm, your heart racing as he said:
- “I'll keep an eye on everything that happens, the moment I hear something out of the ordinary, even if you don't say the code word, we'll get in and get you out”
- “Damn, Heahmund, you scared me... yes, I know, don't worry” - you said losing your patience a little
And now it was time, holding your SIG Sauer firmly in your hands and checking for the last time that the microphone you were holding in the middle of your bra was properly placed, you were ready to move forward. You approached the front door of the warehouse. If there was anything interesting to look for, it would be there. You pulled the lock pick out of your pocket and picked the lock easily. You opened the door a couple of inches, at that moment your heart felt like it was going to come out of its socket. You checked that the light inside was off, you continued to open it completely and you went inside quietly. It was all dark, you stood still for a few seconds to pay attention to all the sound around you. You could only hear the “tick tock” of a clock. You looked at the wall for a light switch, found it and turned it on. Several fluorescent lights illuminated the big warehouse, some of them failing and blinking making the place even more scary. For a few seconds the light blinded you because of the contrast of the dark night to which your eyes had been used so far. You took a quick look, ducked your head and whispered into the microphone:
- “Clear”
You raised your head and for the first time you stopped to look around. It was immense, the walls were covered with high shelves where there were pots of all kinds, some were full and some were empty, there were boxes, masks, safety goggles, gloves and all kinds of chemical devices. There was a long table on the side with many chairs, some lying on the floor, others on top of the table... that place reminded you of a typical high school lab from which the most you could do was decant a mixture. You were surprised... they were cooking drugs there... "Well, what a dump" you said to yourself; you thought everything would be much more careful and not such a messy place as that.
And in the middle of all that mess, at the end of the room you found a big wooden desk and a big black leather armchair behind it, it seemed that that little space didn't belong in the room, it was all tidy and on the table the only thing that was there was some papers, small pictures and office material. You approached and saw some maps with certain points marked... What were these points? You thought that it could be some meeting place or points of sale, you took out the PDA and uploaded the photo to the police station network.
- “I think I found something, I just uploaded it to the network” -You said in a whisper
You didn't have any answers, nor did you notice much of it, since you got caught up in a huge painting right behind the desk. In it appeared a beautiful young woman with long blonde hair. It was just a painting, but you could feel the elegance of that woman in it. Next to her was a taller man who looked slightly older, shaven and with a long beard with white locks. He was in a suit and showed a great presence just like the woman. But there was something that caught your attention, the look of him, his intense blue eyes seemed to pierce you as if you were seeing them in person. The wrinkles at the corner of his eyes betrayed his maturity. You stared for a while, curious, until you came back to reality, took a quick look again to see if anything could be useful, but nothing. So, you retraced your steps and headed for the door. You tried to communicate with your colleagues again:
- “Guys, nothing else around here, I'm going back to my starting position” - You whispered again.
And at that moment you froze, you were listening to yourself double and your "double" was coming right out the door. Time stopped for you, you didn't understand anything, and the only thing you could think of was to hide behind the door. This one opened little by little and you started to listen how people came in... one, two, three... you were counting the steps to be able to calculate the number of people, you lost the count to the fifth since such a quantity would be impossible to face and come out victorious.
- “SHHHH, shut up... do you hear it?” - said a male voice you didn't recognize.
What you could hear was your breathing shaking through a walkie... at that moment the world fell apart. A police walkie in the hands of those assholes, something hadn't gone right, and you didn't know what.
- “Yeah, it smells weird too, doesn't it?” - said another male voice, but this one sounded much more ironic.
- “I don't know Ivar I don't smell anything... what do you smell?” - Said a third voice, the closest so far to your position.
- “Mmm I don't know it's a disgusting smell, something like... police”
At that very moment they closed the door, leaving you exposed. You saw five men, but you didn't have time for much else as the one closest to you, that you came to recognize was Ubbe, grabbed your arm and made a quick movement blocking it, causing your gun to fall to the ground. He drew you to his body by placing your back to him and holding your neck with his arm, doing a lock around it to immobilize you. You looked ahead, saw a young man slowly approaching you and examining you from bottom to top until your eyes connected, deep blue and intimidating gaze. To tell the truth, he was a very attractive guy, but that idea was automatically erased when you remembered who he was. Something stirred in your stomach, you didn't know if it was fear, hate or a mixture. Slowly a cynical smile appeared in his mouth. Definitely, it was disgust what you had noticed in your stomach seconds ago. You could have tried to get out of that grip, but you didn't see the point, they were five men over six feet. It was impossible, to get out of there. Ubbe kept pressing his arm against your neck, causing your senses to slowly fade away.
- “Well, well, and I thought this wasn't going to be fun" said the boy in front of you in a hesitant voice. - Nice to meet you, I am Ivar Lothbrook - he said extending his hand
That was the last thing you could see and hear before you lost total control over your body and thus your senses.
The game had started... like a shitty one.

Don't Steal, It Will Make You Poor...
Tumblr media
“Why is this so? Stealing will make you RICH!!”
No… stealing will make you poor…. Stealing has the karma of loss that returns to you manifold. Because when you steal from others, they lose. Thus, when the karma comes back to you, you lose. If you steal many things from others, many people have lost. Thus when the karma comes back to you, you will also lose many times.... make sense? That is the Law of Karma. Knowing this Law exists, we must make it a point never to steal things. Always pay for what you want. If not, don’t buy it. If it is too expensive, find a cheaper alternative. Operate honestly. Honesty is the Best Policy.
When I was younger, around 17 years old, I had a shoplifting spree. I started by stealing Conqueror Paper from the Polytechnic’s bookstore. I wanted to print out beautiful reports. I succeeded because I was smooth and had my back turned to the cashier. Later, I wanted to be successful, so I stole Mind Programming Tapes from a Self-Development Store. They cost $50 per single cassette. Later after that, I wanted to enjoy playing 3D Video Games on my self-assembled computer. So I walked into Challenger Computer Store and tried to steal an Nvidia GeForce Graphics Card worth $679 in a big box! I spent 5 minutes trying to peel off the anti-theft security tag. Finally it came off! Tucking the Nvidia box into my plastic bag and trying to walk out of the store — suddenly the electronic alarm gates BEEPED continuously! Out of nowhere the store detective appeared and gripped my arm — he wouldn’t let go. He told me calmly to sit down in the office. I sat there like a dumbo not knowing he was actually calling the Police! The police came and handcuffed me and put me in jail for a day. I saw so much rubbish about what happens to people when they do crime.
There were 7 men in one lock-up cell. You had to wear their prison garments. There was no hand-washing basin, no toilet paper. There was only one toilet bowl there… you had to pee and shit in front of everyone and you wouldn’t even be able to wipe your ass! Everyone had their heads down… buried in their knees. Everyone sat on the cement floor. There no beds, no rattan mats… nothing but bare cement and a toilet bowl. I sat there feeling sad that my life had come to such a state. I looked at all these men… all seemed to be facing the end as well… given up hope; head buried in failure and sadness.
Good thing, they considered me a minor. Let off with a Warning. My parents came to pick me up. They were very quiet. Driving me home, they didn’t say a thing. They must have been very disappointed. I recall at sometime… someone told me, “You have such smooth hands, you should be a Magician!” So I took up magic as a hobby and in a year’s time, I became a Children’s Magician! :D
So, it is possible to turn your life around. If only you knew what to do with your talents. Really, don’t steal. It’s not worth it. You can easily buy all these luxuries when you have a little children’s magic show business or your own income stream. Think about how you can make money. Use your wits to design a business or job for yourself. Know what you have to study to get you there. Everyone has talents they can convert into income. You just have to know what your in-born talents are, then put time, money, and effort into developing these talents by training, education, study, reading, listening and learning; thinking, writing, drawing etc. All the same terms? :P These are all learning options.
Pay for your tools. They will serve you better than stolen goods. It’s the karma of buying your items. Things you obtain… are actually ‘living things’. They contain spirits. An Apple Pencil has a drawing spirit artist that guides your art pen. A lipstick has a beauty spirit that makes you look hot. If you didn’t pay for her lipstick, she will make you look like a clown. :D
Stealing doesn’t pay off. The karma for stealing came back to me 3 times… I failed in my first 3 businesses I set up. That cost me thousands of dollars each! So, if you want to succeed in life…. You need the Karma to be set right. You should Pray at a Church or Temple or Mosque for Success! Cleanse Yourself of All Sin! Do no more evil in your life! Be a Completely Good Person and Do Absolutely Good Things! The accumulation of all your good work and good effort, combined with smart thinking on how to make income… will make you wealthy. That is better than stealing and believing the mental illusion that you are gaining, when you are actually destroying your future life! Okay buddy? Learn from a Master… (thief). :P Haha. Good thing I overcame all that 22 years ago and turned over a new leaf. I never stole a single thing after that. Ever! Not even bit-torrenting. I don’t steal people’s videos or paid information either. Downloading through file sharing, is known as Piracy. That is also a form of stealing. I know you can find everything there… so maybe I’ll just hop on and enjoy digital stealing! :D
If you ever had trouble with Kleptomania (stealing addiction), know that you can overcome it with counselling treatment. It is a treatable condition. It’s not the end if you get caught… you can easily sort out any charges with the company. You will get a Police Record. But you can carry on with your life. Don’t steal anymore. Just get good and do good. Keep working hard. Work ingeniously! Use your thief ingenuity to build a real good person’s business! Tell you one last thing… sometimes, there are kleptomaniac spirits which can possess a human being and make you steal things. It’s not your fault, you know? This kind of stealing is dark spirit possession. That’s why you need God’s Help or Buddha’s or Allah’s Help. Amen? Amituofo? Praise Allah? :D (Not to forget Hindu Gods and Taoism.)
You can transform your life if you really resolve to do it. Really resolve to change your life for the better. That’s how I did it in my darkest times. You can too.
That’s all I have for you now, buddy. Bookmark my blog. It’s a piece of rubbish now… but it will be a shining glory later. Okay? Talk to you soon.

1 - Are you one of those people who can watch TV shows and movies over and over again without getting bored? Yes. I love rewatching shows. I saw something recently that says people with anxiety tend to rewatch shows because they know what’s going to happen already. Very true. It’s very hard for me to invest my feelings in a new show when I don’t know what’s going to happen.
2 - If you drink coffee, do you like it plain or would you rather have something like a latte or something flavoured? I don’t drink it often but I could take it black or with flavored cream. I prefer lattes.
3 - How did you used to dress ten years ago? Do you dress in a similar way now? Yeah.
4 - When you’re grocery shopping, do you buy known brands or are you happy to go with the generic store version? I tend to just get whatever is cheapest or on sale. Except for sodas. I never get store brand sodas when I do get them. And chips. And I’m sure there’s others but I can’t think right now.
5 - Do you have a close relationship with any of your cousins? My cousin Kelly and her daughter.
6 - Who was the last person to sleep over at your house? Does this person stay over often or was it more of a one-off? My niece. She’s stayed a few times now.
7 - Does bad weather put you off going out if you’ve got plans to do so? Have you ever cancelled plans due to the weather? Eh, depends on what I’m going to do. Like if it’s raining obviously I’m not going to hang out outside all day.
8 - When you’re on vacation, do you prefer doing the typical tourist things, or would you rather explore somewhere off the beaten track? This would depend on where I am.
9 - Did your family travel a lot when you were younger? Yeah.
10 - When was the last time you went shopping for clothes? Did you get anything decent or find any bargains? I bought a Chicago Cubs hoodie for $4 at Torrid with rewards not too long ago.
11 - Is it true that accessories can make or break an outfit? Whatever.
12 - What is your worst memory from high school? What about the best? Eh. Nothing too horrible and nothing too remarkable.
13 - Is there any trait in a potential partner that would be a total deal breaker for you? If they were a Trump supporter.
14 - Do you insist people use coasters if they’re putting drinks down in your house? No.
15 - Have you ever been arrested? Were you guilty of whatever it is you were arrested for? I have and I was.
16 - Name five items on the shelf nearest to you: DVDs, a picture of me and my nieces, a Wii, a little fake succulent, a dreidel
17 - After meals, do you wash dishes up right away, or do you leave them in the sink and do a whole days worth at once? Lol.
18 - What websites do you find yourself spending the most time on? YouTube I guess.
19 - Do you still download music and TV shows? Nah I just use Spotify.
20 - Does your phone have a good battery life? How long does it last before you need to charge it again? It depends.
21 - When was the last time you hit snooze? This morning.
22 - Did you ever play The Sims? Which expansion pack was your favourite, if you had any? Nope. 23 - Are there any popular film series or TV shows that you just don’t get the appeal of? Any comic book/superhero movies really.
24 - As a child, did you receive pocket money or an allowance? How much did you get? Was it dependent on you doing chores of some kind? Sometimes.
25 - Do you think your parents did a good job of raising you? Would you do anything differently with your own kids? They did an alright job. Any parent has their faults of course. I’m not going to have children.
26 - If something is bothering you, do you have to fix it right away? Uhhh it depends? A lot of things aren’t that simple.
27 - Are there any household jobs you enjoy doing? If so, what’s the reason that you enjoy those things? Eh.
28 - Do you still live in the area you grew up in? Would you like to live somewhere else one day? Where would you go? I do. I’d love to live in the woods on a lake somewhere in the midwest or not far from it one day.
29 - Do you smoke, drink or do drugs? How old were you the first time you tried those things?  Do you want to quit? I drink occasionally. I was 16 when I first drank alcohol. And I smoke/ingest weed occasionally too. I was 18 when I first tried that.
30 - What’s one thing that really grosses you out? Is it something you have to deal with anyway? How do you cope? My brother in law.

Pokemon Black Nuzlocke - Part 4
Hello! Surprise everyone I got another Nuzlocke update. And for a quick minor spoiler. I tackled two Gyms down in the next part. Might surprise you but I got a feeling the last two Gyms may pose a challenge. But you can read more below!
Back into we go with a Vanillite encounter at the Cold Storage. Once again, I caught a female one and decided to name her BananSplit. Totally spelt it wrong but that shall be her name for now on. Then I went inside of the building to go deal with Team Plasma and level up my team. After that I went to the Gym, watched Ghetsis truly do “totally not villainous” things before busting down the door to challenge his Gym. After buying a bunch of Moomoo Milks because they are surprisingly affordable for the time being.
I managed to reach Clay with no casualties. But then came our battle and immediately after his Krokorok used Swagger, he got a critical hit Bulldozer which Captain thankfully survived. I switched into Queen to handle the incoming Palpitoad and heal Captain back up. Queen then easily took out Palpitoad, but then came Excadrill. Which I’ve heard can be an end runner if I wasn’t careful - or at least I thought so. My main goal was to use Leech Seed and have Queen slowly take it out. After all, she resists most of its moves besides Slash. And I can switch into Captain if her HP gets too low. But thankfully Leech Seed secured the victory after using a hefty Grass Knot.
Another Gym secured with no casualties! I am so happy for my team. Queen and Captain really helped pull their weight. It might be because I get over prepared at times. Maybe a bit too much with items, but I feel like it's fair to use items. I headed to Route 6 and had a battle with Bianca. Not sure if I was supposed to do this before the Gym Battle, as all my team was around level 30 and her team was level 28. But she was easy to deal with.
Route 6 arrived so far all I am getting are Vanillites, which I use dupes to ignore for another. I understand it is because I am playing in winter so most options don’t appear. But I ended up running into a Foongus. A male one, who I decided to cheekily name Voltorb for the encounter. Never really going to use it right now but it shall hang out in the box.
Clay opened the way to Chargestone Cave and I got the TM Bulldoze. And I remember why I like Clay so much. Just like with all the other Gym Leaders. Oh, also N sent ninjas - I mean Shadow Triad - so we could chat. Here comes when N reveals Cheren is ideals, Bianca is truth and the main protagonist is somewhere in between. And it's kind of scary after N apparently walks off and teleports away then Bianca and Professor Juniper appear to explain the floating blue gemstone mechanic. I really miss stuff like this. I get the Lucky Egg and manage to find my encounter for Chargestone Cave - a Klink. Never got one of them before, so I nicknamed it Geartown.
After defeating more of Team Plasma I finally fought against N. We beat him no problem. I arrived in Mistralton City. Skyla had her little speech which led me to Route 7. On the way, Odette evolved into a beautiful Swanna. And I got my encounter as a double - with a male Watchhog and a female Cubchoo. I decided to go with the Cubchoo because I have found memories of my Beartic on my first one. Plus, if memory serves - a Beartic can learn some potential HMs. I named the adorable Cubchoo Snowball and she’ll rest in the PC until I need her.
Arriving at Celestial tower, I climbed up to the top and on my way caught a male Litwick. Decided to name Gracey after Master Gracey - neat Haunted Mansion reference because why not. At the very least, if Ramona faints before I reach the end I can use him. Or if the Modest nature on Ramona becomes too big of a problem to ignore. Plus Ramona also has Hustle as an ability. Though speaking of Ramona, she evolved into a Darmanitan. I reached the top and rang the bell. I really miss stuff like this. But a quick check of the PC revealed how both my Fire-Types have their natures lowering their respective attack/special attack. Whelp. Guess I have to wait and hope Reshiram will have a decent nature.
But now, I’m about to do something risky. I’m going to take down Skyla’s Gym at the same time. I already have a decent pick of Pokemon already prepared for this. Which hopefully, she won’t be too much trouble. By the way, what are the odds of a Trandquill getting off three Detects in a row? Just curious. There were no problems and with my confidence boosted so high in the sky, I challenged Skyla to showcase the power and potential of my Nuzlocke team. And I’d like to say, Pebbles and Zigzagzop clearly brought Skyla down to ground level.
Two gyms down a single update? I might be getting a bit too cocky, considering how N nearly spooked me as I exited the Gym. He wanted to chat with Pebbles - and seriously N, call Pebbles by her nickname and not Boldore. She takes great offense after defeating Skyla. He left about spouting about the Light and Dark Stones.
I plan to end things on this high note for the time being! I am only slightly considered regarding the next two Gyms. Brycen is Ice-Type, but with Ramona I feel okay with challenging it. But the bonus of Ramona getting Sheer Force now, I’m fairly confident in her performance. Though I may train up Gracey a bit, since I don’t think having Zigzagzop would be totally okay. My Zebstrika might have Flame Charge, but I don’t think it would help out as much as another Fire Type.
Though after that will come the final Gym Leader. Who I currently have is either an Ice or Dragon Type in my party. Meaning that Drayden could honestly kick my butt if I went with how I had now. *has flashbacks to his Gym Battle* His Haxorus is scary… I do, at the very least, have BananSplit and Snowball currently relaxing in my PC. I may have to plan to do some extensive level grinding to get up prepared for that challenge. If I don’t end up suffering any unsuspecting battles which end up taking out members of my team.
Maybe it is my experience with casually playing Pokemon and trying to keep a balanced team of Pokemon which has me pretty much not having any deaths so far. Though, I won’t be surprised if an upcoming battle decides to add a bunch into the death category. But for now, I played enough for the time being. Next time, I plan to at the very least challenge Brycen or hopefully get a considerable chunk of the way through to the eighth Gym. Not entirely sure if I’d be up to face Drayden - since I am playing Pokemon Black, which means no Iris fight.
But overall for my team, I can’t help but feel extremely proud of them so far. I knew for the later Gyms, Queen would have to practically be benched since Grass does not fare well against Flying, Ice or Dragon Type Pokemon. But she still carries herself well otherside of Gym Battles. Pebbles was definitely a surprise pick who I thought I’d bench her right after Lenora’s Gym. But this girl’s been proving her weight with her massive defenses enough where I want to keep her around. (And I swear if Pebbles dies, I will actually cry. She may not be able to fully evolve but I’ve grown attached to my rock). Zigzagzop was meant to be dropped after Elesa’s Gym, but he’s actually been proving himself with this latest Gym to keep around. I feel like he has a strong friendship with Pebbles considering I got them back to back. (Even with the funny Jaiden Animation reference.) Captain has been… well, I don’t really like his final evolution but having the Water/Ground typing makes him a good enough tank and Water-Type Pokemon to have on the team. Even if Odette is on the team. He might end up being Boxed, but it may just depend how things go. And Odette has already been showcasing why I needed a Flying-Type Pokemon on my team. Even if she is x4 weak to Electric. Even after fully evolving, she’s already showcasing her worth.
The only dilemma I have will have to be addressed soon. But I really hope even with losing Puppy and Fountain, I won’t have to say goodbye to anyone through a death. I expect to have to switch some out for the upcoming Gyms. Until next time though, which, I do plan to draw what my final team will end up being. And who knows? Maybe I’ll end up finishing the main story of Pokemon Black right on Christmas? Wouldn’t that be a treat?
Smell ya later!

Witchy Asks!
Hello fellow witches! Here’s 50 Witchy Asks written by the-lunar-vixen. Please follow if you enjoy them. Blessed be!
1    What type of witch are you?
A gay one.
2    What deities do you like to work with, if any?
Angels, faery, guides, Mother God, Father God, Christ, saints, and ancestors. I'll also work with deities from various religions as they pertain to a spell or ritual (e.g. I may work with Hathor for a love spell).
3    Have you ever created your own spell?
Absolutely, most of the spellwork I do is original at least to some extent.
4    What’s your favorite time of year?
All the year is beautiful and wonderful for a myriad of reasons but Springtime is sacred to me.
5    Do you have a witch you look up to?
I think I have teachers that come and go in my life. They can be famous or not famous, witches or not, etc. Currently I'm loving Ember Honeyraven.
6    What makes you feel powerful?
Balance and freedom. Knowing that I'm on the side of what's good and right.
7    Do you have a favorite myth?
I'm an author and storyteller so I have many, many favorite myths. Off the top of my head I love the stories of Medusa, Apollo, the Christian Creation myth, Germanic and Scandinavian folklore, Anansi and his stories, Arthurian legends... the list goes on, but yes I LOVE stories. I think have so much meaning and wisdom to share.
8    Which famous/fantasy witch do you relate to the most?
I've grown up watching witches in movies, television, reading about them, etc so I've related to witches one way or another since day one. The Charmed Ones (all four) were role models for me when there were no role models for little, effeminate weirdos like myself as a child. The Sanderson Sisters were person heroes to me and I tried to emulate them from the very first time I saw the film; in fact those three are perhaps the original witches with whom I related the most. Since then there have been SO many wonderful characters in entertainment and in real life that inspired me so incredibly much that they've become a part of me.
9    Are you a wiccan?
I am not.
10   What’s the most unique item you’ve ever used in a spell?
I guess a dildo? I think 'unique' is a relative term.
11   Do you own any witchy books?
Apart from my personal book of spells I've owned many books on witchcraft but have parted ways with the majority of them. I'm currently trying to downsize the amount I have currently as it happens. Anybody want some free books?
12   Which misconception about witches annoys you the most?
That magic isn't real and this is all nonsense. I think it's especially irritating when people of other faiths criticize my own as if a prayer is anything different from an incantation. In fact I would argue that spells direct energy in a more concentrated way to affect change than simply petitioning a deity.
13   Have you ever created your own sigil?
You bet. Sometimes you just need something original and unique for the rite/spell.
14   What element are you most drawn to?
Water.
15   Do you have a familiar?
Some people use the word "familiar" interchangeably with "pet". I do have a pet but she's not my familiar. Other people define "familiar" as "spirit animal" which I'm not entirely sure is correct either. I'm in a bit of a gray area on this subject, but I see question 17 below touches on it as well.
16   Are you a part of a coven?
No. I've tried working with others to do magic but I think the synergy/chemistry has to REALLY be on point to do effective magic. Very often there's a clash of philosophies or practice that sort of spoils things all too easily whereas working alone allows me to concentrate so much better.
17   What’s your spirit animal?
Again this is a vague term that means different things to different people. I consider my spirit animal to be more or less my "familiar". When I was younger I was walking in the woods one evening praying really hard about something that was weighing very heavily on me. Then suddenly I looked up and there was this gorgeous and perfectly white stag looking back at me. He stood there for quite a while before slowly walking off again and the whole situation had such a profound sense of meaning to it. I saw the stag a few more times until finally, late one night while I was walking through the woods by a lake under the glow of a bright full moon I saw the stag one last time on the far side of the water. Ever since then the white stag has been sacred to me. So that's what I consider my spirit animal/familiar. It's a guide of sorts, a good omen, a sign, a representation of Spirit/Soul/God-energy and Self. I identify with it. So that's my spirit animal.
18   Do you do tarot readings?
I do indeed!
19   What’s your favorite witch movie?
I have several, but Hocus Pocus has been my favorite since I was a wee tot.
20   How many crystal do you have?
I actually don't really know. I don't go out and buy crystals but sometimes they come into my life and then go when they've served their purpose. For example, I had a beautiful large quartz that my grandmother had bought me from the nature store when I was a kid. I loved it so much. But one Halloween night I was doing a ritual with a friend of mine in the woods and ended up losing it. Interestingly, that friend was pursuing me romantically unbeknownst to me while also hooking up with the guy I was hooking up with and also really liked (ugh, gay culture). And during that ritual I was speaking with my grandfather (husband to the grandmother who bought me the quartz that I lost that night). So what does all that mean? I have no idea. But I figured all things considered maybe it was just time to let that thing go, along with other things that night.
21   What’s the most unique item on your altar?
I don't really have the privacy to set up an altar but generally I like my "work area" to be neat. Everything has a purpose and a meaning and a function. If I need to burn something I have the item/items, the cauldron, the lighter, oils, and anything else needed for what I'm doing. So nothing in particular stands out as "unique"... unless... Well I do have a small copper cauldron with a handful of dirt from my grandmother's house that I've kept for almost twenty years now. I guess that's unique?
22   Have you ever enchanted anything?
Oh god, yes, lots of things. I've enchanted things so as to protect them, or so that the item will protect someone else or some place... I've enchanted things for love, or to keep something or someone away. I've enchanted things to help in a greater ritual or spell. And so on.
23   What’s your religion?
I was raised Christian Baptist but following one horrible experience after another I've absolutely left that faith well behind long ago. I don't have a particular religion in the sense of organized religion. I'm spiritual and I cast spells. I also believe in science. I don't call myself a witch but I do everything a witch does.
24   Do you have a favorite crystal?
"I could no sooner choose a favorite star in the heavens".
25   What are some of your favorite spells?
Oooo I'd have to say I'm rather partial to love magic. I'm particularly good at it too.
26   What do you like to do to cleanse your space?
After physically cleaning a space I like to use the Violet Fire to cleanse an area as well as cleansing using a broom and a wand and/or athame.
27   When do you feel the most powerful?
When nature and I have our little moments. When the wind is warm and strong. When I'm out in a storm. When I can "feel" things growing during the Spring. The silence of a frozen winter night in the woods... Also when I'm cooking. I fucking LOVE charging a pot of boiling ingredients with good juju.
28   Do other people know you’re a witch?
A few people close to me know I practice witchcraft. Others think I'm just a little bit daffy.
29   Has one of your spells ever gone wrong?
Definitely. Mostly when I was still learning and practicing. Like this one time in sixth grade I cast a spell so that a popular girl in school would like me and we could start dating. Obviously since I was gay I didn't really want to be with her, I only did it because I wanted to be cool (although I did like her and we ended up being fairly good friends until we went to different high schools). That spell backfired and I ended up 1. not getting the result I intended because I was doing it for the wrong reason and simultaneously trying to force another to do something against her will, and 2. I ended up having one shitty fucking love life for the longest time.
30   What outfit makes you feel the most witchy?
Oh I love me a good cape. Even just walking around with a long blanket around me.
31   Have you ever tried astral projection?
Yes, successfully, several times. I like to use it for meditation. Often I go to the artic sea where there's just ocean, ice, and darkness.
32   Do you have any enchanted jewelry?
Probably.
33   What does your altar look like?
A space on the floor where I cast a circle and set up my stuff.
34   Have you ever seen a spirit?
YES! I've seen fairies, spirits, ghosts, shadows, sparks, heard voices, etc.
35   What’s your favorite spell sachet?
I can't say that I have one.
36   Do you have a favorite sigil?
I'm especially fond of the Sigil of Venus.
37   What’s your astrological sign?
Sun sign Virgo, Rising Pisces, Moon in Sagittarius
38   Have you ever interacted with a deity?
Well, yes, of course... per the previous questions.
39   What color are you most drawn to?
Purple.
40   Do you believe in past lives?
Without a doubt.
41   Where do you like to practice your craft?
Wherever I have privacy and calm.
42   What’s your favorite season?
Springtime, as mentioned previously.
43   Have you ever cursed someone?
That's not what my magic is for. Yes I'm familiar with the how-to, but no I don't partake in that kind of thing. The "worst" I've ever done is cast binding spells to keep someone from harming me and/or even coming into my presence.
44   How long have you been a practicing witch?
I'm telling on myself now but I'd say about 24 years practicing in earnest.
45   What drew you to witchcraft?
A natural inclination.
46   In what moon phase do you feel the most powerful?
The Moon itself does not change with the phases of its shadow. The phases are representational, of course, and its symbology can be evocative and meaningful, but otherwise the Moon is what it is. Therefore I'd have to say I personally feel most connected or at least most aware of the Moon when it's full. Else, I would say when it's waxing as that's when most of my spells are done simply because of the type of spell I usually work.
47   What’s your favorite holiday?
Wisterlimas, and then Halloween. Although I love all the holidays.
48   Do you know anything about your past lives? (if you believe in them!)
Yes, wow, I've done extensive work on discovering my past lives. I've lived in San Francisco at the turn of the century, in Scotland, England, France, Japan, China, as a woman, as a man... It's all very fascinating but you can't delve too deep because it's simply not necessary. You're not really *supposed* to know about your past lives. That defeats the purpose of the great forgetting once you're reincarnated. Yes, you can revisit the major themes and lessons learned, but one shouldn't really fret too much about what happened in the past.
49   Have you ever done an energy reading?
Certainly. I think most people do energy readings even when they don't know they're doing it. There's "reading the room" or "getting a bad vibe". There's also reiki and the like. And healing work. And of course magic is all about directing energy so to achieve a specific goal.
50   What time of day do you like to practice your craft?
Usually at night but it has more to do with the individual spell. Astronomical positioning is also important as well as weather, season, personal mood, day of the week, et al.

1048.
1 - Are you one of those people who can watch TV shows and movies over and over again without getting bored? >> I am not one of those people, generally. Air-sign brain needs new stimuli constantly. However, there are exceptions to the rule -- some things I can watch over and over again because they’re basically a part of me at this point and I feel a sense of homecoming every time I sit down to watch them. Like The X-Files or Event Horizon. ...Or Silent Hill 4 playthroughs, as I’ve discovered recently.
2 - If you drink coffee, do you like it plain or would you rather have something like a latte or something flavoured? >> I like it plain, but I also like some lattes. It’s all moot, though, since I don’t drink coffee because the caffeine fucks with me.
3 - How did you used to dress ten years ago? Do you dress in a similar way now? >> A more dramatic and obviously goth version of how I dress now. I had more disposable income (because I didn’t have things like rent to spend it on) and less sensory issues (or, was more desensitised to them).
4 - When you’re grocery shopping, do you buy known brands or are you happy to go with the generic store version? >> It doesn’t matter except in the cases that it does.
5 - Do you have a close relationship with any of your cousins? >> ---
6 - Who was the last person to sleep over at your house? Does this person stay over often or was it more of a one-off? >> ---
7 - Does bad weather put you off going out if you’ve got plans to do so? Have you ever cancelled plans due to the weather? >> I don’t usually go out, so it doesn’t matter in that case. But the weather does seem to have an effect on my mood and general motivation level, so I might be more lethargic on overcast/rainy days in general.
8 - When you’re on vacation, do you prefer doing the typical tourist things, or would you rather explore somewhere off the beaten track? >> I like doing a mixture of both. Some tourist things are cool and that’s why they became such big deals in the first place; others, not so much. Having lived in a tourist-trap city, I think I’m pretty good at telling the difference.
9 - Did your family travel a lot when you were younger? >> No.
10 - When was the last time you went shopping for clothes? Did you get anything decent or find any bargains? >> I don’t remember. I don’t usually go shopping for clothes... I guess the last time would be during our wedding vacation. We both got some amazing pieces.
11 - Is it true that accessories can make or break an outfit? >> I think that is true in some cases, but some outfits are just unsalvageable.
12 - What is your worst memory from high school? What about the best? >> All my sparse memories from high school are some measure of negative.
13 - Is there any trait in a potential partner that would be a total deal breaker for you? >> ---
14 - Do you insist people use coasters if they’re putting drinks down in your house? >> We don’t entertain guests. I don’t even have a “guest protocol” script, since it’s never come up.
15 - Have you ever been arrested? Were you guilty of whatever it is you were arrested for? >> No.
16 - Name five items on the shelf nearest to you: >> The shelf nearest to me just has a bunch of books on it.
17 - After meals, do you wash dishes up right away, or do you leave them in the sink and do a whole days worth at once? >> We usually just load the dishwasher and then Sparrow turns it on when it’s full. But recently the dishwasher has begun malfunctioning and Maintenance is... unreliable... so the routine’s all thrown off and I can barely function in the kitchen now.
18 - What websites do you find yourself spending the most time on? >> This one. Also Reddit and various streaming sites.
19 - Do you still download music and TV shows? >> No.
20 - Does your phone have a good battery life? How long does it last before you need to charge it again? >> It’s starting to flag, but mostly it’s all right. The amount of time it lasts between charges varies, depending on how much it’s getting used (and for what), so I can’t really say.
21 - When was the last time you hit snooze? >> ---
22 - Did you ever play The Sims? Which expansion pack was your favourite, if you had any? >> I’ve played it since Sims 2, but I don’t play it anymore because the business model annoys me (and it’s just not an interesting game after a while, for me). I don’t have a favourite expansion pack, but I generally liked the “spooky” or “magic” ones.
23 - Are there any popular film series or TV shows that you just don’t get the appeal of? >> Sure. I can’t like everything.
24 - As a child, did you receive pocket money or an allowance? How much did you get? Was it dependent on you doing chores of some kind? >> No, I did not.
25 - Do you think your parents did a good job of raising you? Would you do anything differently with your own kids? >> I am a product of emotional neglect as well as CSA (I was 13, but that’s still childhood to me) and other forms of abuse thanks to the fact that I was shipped away from my primary household to a bunch of strangers that just happened to be related to me, so this is a loaded question for me. Sure, I didn’t starve to death, I graduated high school, etc, but at what cost...
26 - If something is bothering you, do you have to fix it right away? >> Many of the things that bother me can’t be fixed, I’ve learned.
27 - Are there any household jobs you enjoy doing? If so, what’s the reason that you enjoy those things? >> I like to organise and tidy things, it just satisfies some primal part of my brain.
28 - Do you still live in the area you grew up in? Would you like to live somewhere else one day? Where would you go? >> No.
29 - Do you smoke, drink or do drugs? How old were you the first time you tried those things?  Do you want to quit? >> I drink, and I eat edibles every so often. I’m fine with this level of drug use.
30 - What’s one thing that really grosses you out? Is it something you have to deal with anyway? How do you cope? >> I don’t want to think about something that grosses me out right now. And yes, some of those things are things I have to deal with almost daily. I cope by not coping.

1 - Are you one of those people who can watch TV shows and movies over and over again without getting bored? Yeah. Obviously I do that because I really enjoy it, but it’s also nice to do when you want to just put something on and chill because it doesn’t require me to pay much attention or think too much, ha.
2 - If you drink coffee, do you like it plain or would you rather have something like a latte or something flavoured? I drink my coffee with a flavored creamer or cream (Half and Half) and sugar. I like flavored lattes, mochas, and macchiatos as well.
3 - How did you used to dress ten years ago? Do you dress in a similar way now? Wow, when I was 21... I actually put effort into my style back then and cared about it. I liked to accessorize, too. Now I just live in leggings and oversized graphic tees, not caring about anything except being comfortable, ha.
4 - When you’re grocery shopping, do you buy known brands or are you happy to go with the generic store version?  >> It doesn’t matter except in the cases that it does. <<< Yep. There are certain things where it does make a difference.
5 - Do you have a close relationship with any of your cousins? Not anymore. :( I used to with a few of them.
6 - Who was the last person to sleep over at your house? Does this person stay over often or was it more of a one-off? My aunt last year. She’s stayed over several times before.
7 - Does bad weather put you off going out if you’ve got plans to do so? Have you ever cancelled plans due to the weather? When it’s miserably hot I have no desire to leave the house. Although, let’s be real, I never leave the house anymore regardless of the weather.
8 - When you’re on vacation, do you prefer doing the typical tourist things, or would you rather explore somewhere off the beaten track? I’m such a tourist haha. I admit it. I’d be interested in exploring other things, too, though. Whatever sounds interesting to me I’m down for.
9 - Did your family travel a lot when you were younger? Yeah.
10 - When was the last time you went shopping for clothes? Did you get anything decent or find any bargains? I bought a few things recently online during a sale.
11 - Is it true that accessories can make or break an outfit? Like I mentioned earlier, I used to really be into accessorizing, but I really don’t care anymore.
12 - What is your worst memory from high school? What about the best? High school had its ups and down throughout. Losing my close friends was definitely among the worst things. As for the best... my senior year was probably the best. I had a few good friends, one of which was someone I reconnected with after not talking since middle school.
13 - Is there any trait in a potential partner that would be a total deal breaker for you? If they were just really impatient and unreliable.
14 - Do you insist people use coasters if they’re putting drinks down in your house? No.
15 - Have you ever been arrested? Were you guilty of whatever it is you were arrested for? I’ve never been arrested.
16 - Name five items on the shelf nearest to you: A black and white Lucy Ricardo from I Love Lucy Funko Pop, a BB8 popcorn collector’s bucket, a Princess Leia plushie, a Chewbacca stuffed animal, and an Alice in Wonderland globe.
17 - After meals, do you wash dishes up right away, or do you leave them in the sink and do a whole days worth at once? I rinse my dishes off and place them in the sink. My mom or dad takes care of the rest.
18 - What websites do you find yourself spending the most time on? Tumblr and YouTube.
19 - Do you still download music and TV shows? Nope. I haven’t done that in several years.
20 - Does your phone have a good battery life? How long does it last before you need to charge it again? Not anymore. It’s been acting up for the past few months now because it wants me to upgrade to a new phone. My iPhone XR is considered old now.
21 - When was the last time you hit snooze? Yesterday.
22 - Did you ever play The Sims? Which expansion pack was your favourite, if you had any? I love The Sims, I’ve played since the first one came out. There’s too many expansion packs to choose from throughout the games.  23 - Are there any popular film series or TV shows that you just don’t get the appeal of? Yeah. Like, I never got into Friends or The Office.
24 - As a child, did you receive pocket money or an allowance? How much did you get? Was it dependent on you doing chores of some kind? Yeah. I received it for doing chores and for each report card cause they were good grades. The amount varied.
25 - Do you think your parents did a good job of raising you? Would you do anything differently with your own kids? Yes, I have awesome, loving, nurturing, supportive parents. I don’t blame them at all for the mess I became. I’m not having kids.
26 - If something is bothering you, do you have to fix it right away? Uhhh it depends? A lot of things aren’t that simple.
27 - Are there any household jobs you enjoy doing? If so, what’s the reason that you enjoy those things? No.
28 - Do you still live in the area you grew up in? Would you like to live somewhere else one day? Where would you go? I do still live in the area I grew up in and yes I would like to move somewhere else. My family and I haven’t wanted to for a long time, we just haven’t been able to as of yet. Hopefully in the near future.
29 - Do you smoke, drink or do drugs? How old were you the first time you tried those things?  Do you want to quit? I don’t anymore, but I’ve drank and smoked weed when I was in my early 20s.
30 - What’s one thing that really grosses you out? Is it something you have to deal with anyway? How do you cope? These past 10 days on this disgusting antibiotic have been absolutely horribleeeee. I’m finally done, though!
