But I drew this guy Once and that was it#I went ‘yeah that’s my boy. that works’#i mostly went with what i envisioned though i did check the first chapter again to see if it said anything contradicting my design#and it did say Aaron had short hair but you know what? I really want him to have a little ponytail#I think he deserves a little ponytail#so i kept the ponytail#i was originally going to draw him with his silly little coat and add a heck ton of details#but the pose didn’t work out#There’s always next time!#with his current clothes his sash i guess is the most important part?#in the first chapter it talks about Aaron’s knife had been clad in black&gold previously#I assume in reference to the Man#Though I might be wrong#i binge-read the book in like three days#the details have escaped me#but yeah I did the sash with those colors because I thought it’d be cool#anyways i believe that’s most of it#i also have a bunch of doodles i made for warmup before this#that i’m also going to share at some point#i hope you like it!

After careful thought...
I am now convinced RVB is, in a nutshell at its core, two twenty year long dimetric slowburn romance tropes comprised of viewing each from the lens of 'I'd die for you/I'd live for you' while accounting for the repercussions of those choices on the lives of those around them while also examining at the same time the 'Inability to let go/ever start' and how it ultimately locks your mind in a perpetual state of 'What if?' without taking the risk of DOING all by asking the simple fucking question

#tis time for torture princess#ttftp#I can’t speak for the show (only learned it existed yesterday)#but I really appreciate how quickly the illustrations moved from ‘food so good you get drawn naked’ to ‘food so good#it holds you at gunpoint’#but in particular I enjoy how there’s about three jokes total that they juggle around and they hit every time#also the messages about enjoyment of life#the chapter about dreams where Giant reveals that she doesn’t have any. she just wants to live every day to the fullest#the acknowledgement of the power of midnight ramen#idk I just binged all like 240 chapters in two days

nope not doing it i’m going home doing my gardening shit showering and hitting that pillow and blanket i don’t need anythinggggg hashtag monastic life. movie please be on streaming soon. or dvd i would literally buy a dvd for you and that’s a high honor i only buy dvds of movies i know i’ll like and watch fifteen times i’m not just a collector i’m a curator i take my dvd library very seriously. unlike some people (my dad who bought lord of the rings on dvd in like 2006 and a couple weeks ago got upset because it doesn’t work anymore and he never even watched it more than once. like ok you didn’t appreciate what you had when you had it. skill issue!) i do however draw the line at 20 dollar dvds for movies that are on a streaming service i have access to. talk to me in four years when it’s down to 5 dollars in the huge walmart dvd bin. anyway. does anyone wanna watch supergirl or descendants 4 today and liveblog that shit… if not fine whatever 🙄 everybody wants to have a tv show to blog about with all their mutuals and harmonize the dashboard until i come in and try to curate a joint supergirl experience and then suddenly nobody watches tv anymore… tee you’re exempt from this judgement because i asked you to watch xena with me and you did and I’M the one slacking and that’s on me and i will remedy this issue as soon as i can <3

the entirety of BFDI so far is 16:10:39 (hours, minutes, seconds). assuming the average sleep time is 8 hours, then that's a little more than typical waking hours
#wheucto#wheucto speaks#binging the entirety of BFDI in one sitting (from BFDI 1a to TPOT 6) is. possible. but barely#unless you like. stay up a long time_ later on this is just. going to be impossible#that is if you want to stay healthy sleep schedule-wise#and so far we only have 6 TPOT episodes. considering we have 35 (i think) contestants_ 2 contestants eliminated#if that stays true until. uhhhh. let's say an avg of 3 members per team for merge (or first merge)#3 * 6 = 18#that's almost half of 35. so it would take 17 or 18 episodes to get there if. i'm right which is unlikely#now if 1 contestant is eliminated after 1st merge that would take 15 for final three 16 for final two#if the same stays true (until final four/two) then it'd be 7ish for final four/three or 8 for final two#17 + 7 + 1 for the smallest estimate. that's 25.#each episode is about 25 minutes (assuming trends stay the same) so it'd be 625 minutes more (or 10 hours 25 minutes)#that is_ assuming that 1. tpot doesn't get canceled 2. 1st merge will happen when teams have 3 contestants avg#we'll need to wait about... 3 to 5 years (if the show gets completed) to see how many episodes (and how long they are) there'll be#(since assuming each episode comes in a month + half times that by 25 for a little over 3 years as the lower estimate and 5 as just. a vibe#- based guess)#if 625 mins is correct then it'd be over 26 hours long also known as more than a day. so. binge-watching all of bfdi is probably impossible#- when it all gets completed (assuming there isnt ANOTHER season after tpot. and who knows?)
