I think I have gone completely insane :D anyway here are the Epithet Erased fandragons I've collected in Flight Rising so far. In this order: Molly and Lorelai Blyndeff, Soup Boi Giovanni Vincent Murder, and his boys (gender neutral): Flamethrower, Car Crash, Ben, Crusher, Spike and Dark Star. Based on their Prison of Plastic outfits (or rather... what we see of them).

I cannot emphasize how frantic and feverish I was over the past few days planning and making these guys real. I sent so many PMs begging people to let me buy their dragons. I spent so much dragon money. Every single one of these guys is a gen 1 except Spike. A week ago I thought to myself "yeah, I already got Lori and Molly, just the two are enough for me," but then I found a gen 1 that made a really good Dark Star fandragon, and I thought "well I can't just randomly have one of the boys. I don't even have a Giovanni fandragon," so I bought a gen 1 that made a perfect Giovanni, and then thought "okay now it's weird. Giovanni and a single one of his boys feels weird. I gotta get the rest of them" and then 3 days later I am 9 dragons into an EE fandragon collection and very, very dragon poor.

... I'm doing Feenie and Trixie next.

the more i play really old school monster hunter the more i realized how long it took for capcom to get a grasp on the design of monster hunts. tri was absolutely the turning point, especially with the new engine, but it’s important to acknowledge how hellish it used to be. most first and second gen monsters aren’t fun. do they feel more rewarding to beat? yes. are they well designed battle-wise?

(and please don’t get me started on hardcore mode elder dragons in frontier. these are just evil.)

there’s a reason so many old monsters got complete battle overhauls in fifth gen and i do think capcom deserves more credit for that in terms of changes that improved the formula. i see praise for the better hitboxes, and while that’s part of it, allowing more breathing room and better attack timing is something that shouldn’t be overlooked.

they made kushala daora bearable in rise. never forget.

anath is a student/apprentice of rarity, who initially they didnt get along for various reasons (do you notice i made them look as antithetical and unappealing to rarity as possibly) but now they see each other as family and rarity is a huge mother figure for her. rarity saw a lot of spike in anath and that was one of the reasons she started growing so close to her

zap apple wants to be the first earth pony to be in the wonderbolts. his older sister, aurora apple, desperately wants to get away from the family and just do her own thing

it took twilight and pinkie a long time to get together so thats why jellybean is the youngest lol. the poly relationship is twilight x pinkie and pinkie x cheese but not twilight x cheese
