TLDR: my friend who was the Aziraphale to my Crowley did the same thing Azi did at the end of season 2 (but worse) and it ended up only validating my kin

for almost 20 years (I'm 23) I had a best friend who ended up kinda being my Aziraphale friend. after basically our whole lives of being friends we both got really into Good Omens, they borrowed my book, we binged season 1 together, and (after it being announced years later) anxiously awaited season 2 to binge as well. after season 2 we only resonated with the characters more and it became a really comforting bit calling each other Aziraphale and Crowley (we're neurodivergent and got attached to the fictional characters, sue me) It was very wholesome and fun, and I mean hell they even threw me a Good Omens and Jimmy Buffett themed surprise party (again, neurodivergent)

like dude they even made me this cake!

then like a week later they literally did the worst thing they could've possibly done (not going into detail here) and just up and abandoned me and everyone else for something that is genuinely hopeless and they're the only one not able to see it.

so, obviously we're all heartbroken bc we lost someone who meant the world to us, but uhhhhhhh

Angel Crowley headcanon

i feel like angel Crowley was just this big ADHD nerd with a lot of different hiper fixations and he would jump from assignment to assignment based on what ever cought his interest before the fall.

like one moment he would be obsessed with stars so the higher ranking angels would put him on stars. But then he loved animals so they put him on animals. Etc...

So maybe Crowley fell because lusifur was like "I have an interesting thing for you."

And Crowley who was getting bored with his last thing like like "ohh tell me, tell me, tell me."

But then in hell he bounced around way too much so they put him on earth so he could do whatever shit he wanted and just leave the other demons alone. And the reason he got so moody because no one wanted to hear about this cool new plant on earth.

And maybe he loved spending so much time with Az is because Az also had all these different special interests that he felt comfortable being a nerd about. But hell made Crowly no longer comfortable being this out word need like he was.

I think I’ve only done a comic for a birthday one other time but Insane Vic’s ask was just crying out to be done in story form. They wanted me to have the ineffable duo do swapped costumes (Crowley as an angel, Aziraphale as a demon) for Halloween- which I have done and was fairly cute… but this time they asked me to give Aziraphale *checks notes* “the c***iest outfit I could think of” and Crowley “losing his mind over it.” Well, I hope you all enjoy. 🤣

I feel like Mrs. Sandwich must have worked SO HARD helping him pull this together. 😂

no but really, I think it fits him really well! I had thought his UM would probably involve something kinda sleight-of-handy or pickpockety! and I looooved that it made such a nice loop-around back to episode 1. ❤️ I was. kind of half-expecting him to just run out and punch Riddle in the nose again. but instead this time 'twas he who offed the queen's head! it was great! and he did it while stone-cold terrified out of his mind! because Ace is the only remotely normal or well-adjusted person at NRC and therefore the only one who is like "we're going to literally die, this is super effed up". but he did it anyway!!!! I AM SO PROUD
