Please tell me I'm not the only person with sensory issues revolving fingernails (and to a lesser extent, toenails). I keep my nails super short (like, literally as short as possible) because I hate hate HATE getting shit stuck under my nails. Even when they're clean I hate the feeling of longer nails.

#pan rambles #First off I went to do Laundry and now my clothes smells of nail polish #normally that's a smell I can handle in small quantities but #The smell as So Strong #And it's all over my clothes now too which sucks;;;#Somehow a bottle of it got put in my laundry bag without me noticing and yeah.#Luckily only very few things got painted in small amounts but still;;#I don't use nail polish but know it's from home bc of the brand and I always check the machine before putting it my clothes #Once I'm home I also got assignments waiting for me and...anfksnfnskfnsn /neg #At least F.ire E.mblem Friday is tomorrow #Nothing beats being in vc with my dear friend as she plays F.E3H for the first time <3

#it's been ages since I did my nails so I went all out #the lil heart confetti polish I always makes me look so cute #but I when I do take the time to paint my nails it's usually an impulse decision and I don't want to wait for the extra dry time #cause it's an extra coat #I can't decide of this is pastel goth or vampirecore goth #the hearts aren't actually pastel but they kinda look it cause they're this silver and red marble-y texture #so the colors blend together #also hearts just have a pastel vibe #like unless they're a Striking blood red #or bone white #or pure silver on the hilt of a dagger only to be used to slay your cursed beloved #y'know?#but also the colors red and silver and black together are strict vampire core vibes #idk im too tired for this

i love & live for your nailposting so i have to ask — do you have any tips on cuticle care??? i find that mine grow SUPER quickly and i constantly have to trim them back with cuticle clippers but i feel like they never…. Look Nice™️.

first of all THANK YOU and the 10 other ppl who like my nailposting. second, it's hard to give specific tips w/o knowing anything about your Bod, but general tips that are always applicable are just like. push them back frequently, esp when they're soft like right after your hands have gotten wet, or you've moisturized. also def recommend using a cuticle oil every once in awhile, daily if possible! you can homebrew a cuticle oil by just using jojoba and vitamin E, if you wanna be a little cheap abt it and/or you're sensitive to fragrances, Like Moi. (premade cuticle oil is generally Scented.) using cuticle nippers and trimming them is sick and I also do it every once in awhile, but keeping them Pushed Back and Not Dry is the first line of defense, I think! if you're snipping really often, though, it can actually make the regrowth a little Worse. edit: I ALMOST FORGOT about doing cuticle cleanup with a dissolvent. they make lots of kinds, I have a sally hansen one, it comes in a little blue bottle. For the dead skin that's actually climbing up the nail plate and sticking to it, you'd apply this stuff for a minute or so, and then scrape off the (newly softened) dead skin with a little orangewood stick/cuticle pusher.

#some people are scared of the cuticle remover gels but they're not scary #I think bc it says on the back like. Let Sit for 15 Seconds. and everyone's like WHAT HAPPENS AFTER 15 SECONDS #nothing happens to Moi. I leave it longer than that. just wash your hands when you're done cleaning up your cuticles #the oil is really the biggest tip for me like. I say that for every nail related fix #bc it's also good for the health of the whole nail #and yeah like. some people don't like the sensation of Pushing Back the cuticle?#so ik this may be just a Me thing but I don't mind it. so I push mine back ALL the time #It definitely seems to help keep on top of things #and then yeah when/if you do have scragglies that you need to snip.. snip snip bitch!!#nailposting #sergle answers #long post #cuticles for me are like. I didn't particularly think about them until I started painting my nails a lot #but they really fuck up polish application so now I CARE A LOT #so now it's become just a sort of Passive Maintenance

I found someone in my classroom!!! She's so cool and I've sat next to her last year and she always loves to talk and I loved to listen to school recent gossip and this year she's on my latin classes and we've been getting back in touch and!!! And!!! We discovered we both have similar ideas!! I'm explaining her anarchist theory and she shares acab media she just discovered, we circle the 13/12 date in the classroom blackboard and run, I send her tutorials I've discovered on how to do moss graffiti and she asks for information about world events and if I don't know about them we investigate together and then we exchange opinions!! And this, this is so special to me, because I've been trying to connect with someone in my surroundings, and there wasn't— interest. Like I talk and there's this tight smile on my friends face. And. And sometimes it breaks my heart? But this. This is so fucking cool.

#I'm so happy #like i love my friends but they're not— their existence is not political and they don't interest themselves on it being it and #it's very frustrating sometimes #and I'm just SO happy #to have found someone with whom I can giggle while we plan to meet and try to do seed bombs #like if we were some kids doing each others nails #+ there's this thing in my little town #that's like a festivity thing on summer #called 'barris' and you go and with yours organize different activities #one of them being making a 'falla' which denunciates a social/political issue (usually that affects the town directly)#(mostly making fun of politics on power here)#and my lil sis said she wanted to go with me there this year #agdiwbdj <3 #ALSOALSO #my art teacher has chosen my christmas postcard to send to our school teachers (is quite political i love him he's the best)#which is like the re-do of the manger(?) ('pesebre' in spanish) (yk the thing where Mary has Jesus and everyone goes there)#but instead it's a homeless woman embracing her newborn in her jacket #they're sitting on a few cardboards and next to them they're a few more #and it quite literally says 'less kings' 'more angels' (then angels it's crossed) and on diagonal of it 'more people'#there's three people of different ages with donations (not propaganda cause they are all painted in gray and their faces are blurred because #they're not the important thing because the important thing is the issue the problem the people who suffer from it)#it's not a donation if it has a name on it that's propaganda #(also for all of you who might be wondering why the fuck would I do a manger it's 'cause my school it's catholic and i like to mix shit up)#anyways #waiting for teachers reactions heheh
