My feelings about you have changed a bit since October, now I don‘t freak out anymore when you interact with me because you‘re so much cooler than me but I still get the jeebies when you message me privately
Also free space is "I need you to stop changing you entire blog theme every week"

(BAU Headcanons) Spending a day off with your S.O.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aaron Hotchner
Ok. So. First of all... Aaron's casual wardrobe is sinful and I feel like I need to mention it when talking about days off. After all, he's not going to turn down the excuse not to wear a shirt and tie, knowing jeans and his usual polo shirts are better suited to both relaxing and possibly chasing after Jack.
If you two ever got a rare day off then he would do his best to make you breakfast in bed, knowing that having an excuse to stay in bed is a luxury.
If Jack is with you, and not at Jessica's, then you know Jack would be right next to him in the kitchen, begging to help. I mean, if you watch Bluey, picture the episode where Bingo is trying to make that omelette for Bandit on his birthday... that's basically the vibe here.
Hotch wouldn’t try to force you out of the house if you didn’t want to go, as he’s perfectly happy to stay in and play with you and Jack. After all, you have the most recent lego set, which you bought him for his birthday, to finish building.
"You up for that buddy? Six hands are better than four, after all."
Or, if you don't have the energy or patience, then you three can curl up on the sofa together and watch movies and the backlog of tv shows you’ve missed out on whilst you’ve been away working.
Fun Fact: Aaron would rather die than admit to the rest of the BAU that you got him hooked on reality shows like The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills or Below Deck -but he is. He finds them fascinating case studies in human behaviour... or that's his excuse anyway when you call him out on it.
However, if you do want to actually leave the house and get outside then he’d be pretty relaxed about whatever it is you wanted to do, as long as you could all do it together.
He'd also love it if you both got the chance to go for a run, enjoying the rare opportunity to race you through the nearby park. You can just soak in the sunshine and watch the other people as they make their way through the world, before grabbing a coffee on your way home.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
David Rossi
Rossi is a man who knows the value of creature comforts, as we've seen repeatedly in the show. You know this man enjoys having time off to indulge himself - and you too.
As soon as he knows he has the day off, you can bet he's driving you to the local farmer's market to buy all the ingredients needed for a home cooked feast.
Despite promising to be there only an hour, you know he's the kind of person who would talk to each and every vendor, learning all their names and asking after their families as if they've been friends since birth.
You'd end up spending almost the entire morning - and part of the afternoon - shopping, sampling various treats and wares, and buying several bag's worth, before you're finally able to drag him back to the car.
As he's cooking, Rossi would definitely play his favourite records. He alternates between crooning along and telling you tidbits about the artists - and the many crazy memories he has about these records.
"Did I ever tell you about the time I first heard this? We were in this tiny little motel, in the middle of a horrific blizzard, and several whiskeys in..."
It's hard not to get distracted, drawn in as he pulls you close and starts dancing about the kitchen. You'd get so distracted that you almost let dinner spoil and only remember it's even there when you start to smell something burning.
"Ah! Merda!"
After dinner you know you'd end up outside on his patio, enjoying the view as the sun goes down, over a cocktail of his choosing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Derek Morgan
You know this eager beaver would not be spending a day off with you doing nothing or letting the day ‘go to waste’.
He’d be at your doorstep bright and early, looking unfairly energetic for someone who has been running on minimal sleep all week.
Thankfully, he brings coffee and breakfast with him which is his way of bribing you to get your ass up and out with him.
As for the day itself, he’d either have the day planned to a ’t’ or he’d have nothing planned at all.
“Relax, sweetness, we’re letting the day take us where it may. Enjoy the ride.”
He'd love having a reason to take you to whatever property he's renovating, hoping to share his vision for the place and getting your opinion on it all.
He'd even let you have a swing or two with a sledgehammer if there's a dry-wall that needs taking down. It's a great stress-reliever for you both, and there's nothing like hammering along in the time to beat of whatever playlist he's chosen.
He'd also order you a pizza, or whatever take-out you fancied, as payment for all your hard work.
You know he'd also been keen to help you wash up later, running you both a hot bath to soak in as you actually have the time to enjoy it.
And just between us - he knows Hotch and Rossi would have his guts his they found out - but he may or may not have left your cellphones on the bed-side table just to ensure you get an hour of peace, undisturbed...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Emily Prentiss
Ok. So. Emily loves having a day off almost as much as she enjoys working.
She doesn't require much in the way of plans. In fact, her ideal day off from the BAU involves you, a crossword puzzle, and your usual table by the window at the coffee shop around the corner.
It's right by the window, so you can bathe in the sun whilst you nurse your way through coffee after coffee.
The whole place reminds her of one similar that she spent her time in, in Paris. Just like then, she loves reading books, and completing the daily crossword with your help.
"Damn it. This is what time in Europe gets you - I forgot there's no 'u' in color. No wonder it wasn't fitting."
Emily also has a game she likes to play, watching the people around you, guessing what their stories are and imaging outlandish profiles for them all. It's a privilege to enjoy it when it's for entertainment and not out of a need to be aware of your surroundings or an ongoing threat assessment.
Afterwards, you'd go for a stroll around the park and most likely visit the shops you rarely get a chance to.
You both spend ages going through the racks and modelling outfits for one another, knowing you need some new things to fill out your wardrobes other than work-attire. It's a like private treat for yourselves.
Once you're home again, I feel Emily would want to cook and would do a pretty good job when she has the energy. However, she is not above ordering takeout when you both can’t be bothered.
After all, it gives you both more time together to lie in bed, with Sergio curled up between you, purring loudly as you take it in turns to pet him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
JJ
Depending on when you two got together (before or after Will), she would love to have a chance for the both of you to spend the day with Henry.
You're her family and the most important thing in the world to her. It's why she can't stop beaming as you spend the afternoon at the park together, running rings around the place and clambering all over the playground.
"I swear this kid is faster than most of the Unsubs we chase - and more sneaky too."
JJ would bring all your favourite snacks with her so you can all lie out on the grass and feast once your energy levels drop. She doesn't even mention the sugar content or how many E-numbers there are. You all deserve a treat, Henry included, so she's willing to put her 'mom hat' aside for a minute.
I feel like she'd also try and put her mom hat aside so you two can have some time without a child in tow. She'd try and make a last minute arrangement to get a sitter so you two can have some 'adult' time.
This normally involves making a reservation at your favourite restaurant, and insisting on you both dressing fancy just for the fun of it.
After all, you never get to play at being grown ups and just enjoy wearing something because it looks nice and not because you can run around in the field in it.
"I've had these heels for years and I swear I've only got to wear them like three times - and this skirt! I love this skirt."
Once you get to the restaurant, you spend hours just talking, drinking, and eating before taking a stroll on the way home.
You then curl up in bed and fall asleep to the sound of the TV playing your favourite movies, safe and warm in each other's arms.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Penelope Garcia
This girl is the queen of relaxing. If she doesn’t have to be awake before noon then you can bet your ass she’ll be tucked up and toasty till 12:01.
Once she's awake, however, she's a flustered mess, struggling to pick between her various plans for your time off together. There's just so much she wants to do with you and never enough time.
"What? I'm the queen of fun and I just want to make sure we make the most of our time together, sugar plum. I can't help it. I'm excited to have a day just you and me, not that I don't love the others too. I do, but you know, just having it be us is rare -"
You stop her rambling with a kiss, which of course makes her melt.
I feel like Penelope would always try and spend part of the day with you in the kitchen, baking a new recipe to take to work for the others to try.
She'd also love spending the day on the sofa with you, watching either a Rom-com or a Sci-fi marathon (depending on your moods).
Once the decision has been made, she'd insist on gathering supplies - AKA: onesies, takeout and face masks.
"It's the holy trinity of self-care," she explains, holding up your choices. "Now, do you want the tea-tree or coconut face mask?"
However, if you do feel like getting out of the house, then Penelope would take you on theatre trips - which are booked last minute but with amazing seats (courtesy of Penelope’s connections and slightly unorthodox know-how).
The others are still jealous after finding out she got you tickets to Hamilton, front row, with the original cast.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dr Spencer Reid
You know Spencer is the kind of person that has a list of things the size of his arm that he’d love to do with you on a rare day off.
You’d probably have to negotiate with him to figure out which ones you could reasonably do in just 24 hours - and you try to find a balance between appeasing his interests and yours.
For example, you don’t mind sitting through a Russian movie festival if afterwards he agrees to let you wander around your favourite bookshop and spend as long as you want exploring the shelves - without him critiquing or spoiling the endings before you even have a chance to read the blurb.
If you also happened to let it slip that you'd never watched every single episode of Doctor Who that's ever been made, then you know your future days off will be spent marathoning on the couch.
"I'm just saying that he's underrated as the Doctor as arguably the narratives of his episodes are far better developed and reflect the point of the show, which is that the Doctor isn't perfect but rather a time-travelling refugee who acts as a healer, counsellor, and protector of the universe. It's why he calls himself 'The Doctor' ..."
He always looks so adorable when he gets excited about something he loves. It's hard not to fall in love with him all over again.
Apart from watching TV, you both also love spending days off on that couch, curled up together, reading your way through the stack of books you both had in your never ending ‘TBR’ pile.
Spencer would love listening to you discuss whatever you're reading, doing his best to memorise the characters, plots, and your thoughts on both. It's the least he can do when you listen so patiently every time he starts rambling on about whatever his latest hyper-fixation is.
"Can I... can I borrow that when you're finished? I'm now curious - just don't tell the others, ok?"

Handcuffed to love ✧₊⁺
policeofficer/probationofficer!matt x criminal!reader
Part 1 of ???
warnings: mentions of drugs. mature themes follow, read at your own risk.
Waking up in a jail cell wasn’t on my bingo card, for my entire life to be quite honest. An innocent college party turned into a police raid, leaving me to get caught with a microscopic bag of coke in my purse. To make matters even worse, I was arrested by the hottest cop I had ever seen.
He had bright blue eyes, perfectly tanned skin, and a delicious amount of tattoo’s scattered across his left arm. My hazy mind at the time wanted to trace each and every one with my tongue, but I knew better. He had looked at me with a different type of disgust, and I knew he would never want anything to do with me. A girl could dream though.
“Y/N Y/L/N?” A deep voice broke me out of my thoughts. I look up to find the cop from last night staring straight at me. I stand up on shaky legs, stepping up to the metal bars.
“What's up?” I ask, not sure if I was being released or if he was just making sure I was still here. I glanced at the name tag sprawled across his shoulder, reading M. Sturniolo.
“Hands.” He sighed, holding a pair of handcuffs. I slide my hands into the now open slot that was waist level, letting him slide the cuffs over my wrists, wincing as he tightens them.
“Sorry.” He murmured to me as he took a step back, looking towards someone down the hall before a buzz sounds and the door is unlocked. He opens the door, gesturing to me to come out of the cell. I take a few timid steps, not wanting to push my luck. I had no idea what was happening or where I was going.
His warm hand wraps around my bicep, urging me forward. We walk in silence and I take the time to glance around as we walk. I find several women sitting and crying as they enter jail cells and make phone calls. My heart breaks for them, wondering what led them to be here.
He opens a door, leading me into what I assume is an investigation room. There were two metal chairs on opposite sides of a dirty metal table, a large two way mirror taking up a good portion of the wall behind the chair he was guiding me to.
“Here's the deal Miss Y/N,” He starts, sitting down across from me, “You can tell me the name of who you got the drugs from, pay a small fine, do some time on probation, and get the hell out of here.” He cuts right to the chase, leaning his arms against the table and shifting forward.
“So you need just the name?” I clarify, making him nod. “So you don’t need an arrest before this deal takes place?” I question, watching the way his eyes slightly widen in surprise.
“What makes you ask that?” He questions, glancing at the mirror behind me.
I shrug, smiling at him sheepishly, “I may have been watching Breaking Bad all week.” I tell him, almost grinning to myself as I see the corners of his mouth turn upwards, fighting the urge to smile.
“No, we don’t need to make any arrests for your deal to take place. This is your first offense, and you passed the drug test.” He informed me, making me nod. “So, the name?” He asks after a couple beats of silence.
“I’ll tell you his name on one condition.” I state bravely, despite the fact I wanted to start bawling.
He shakes his head, “You think you can make demands now darlin’?” He rasps, making my stomach twist with anxiety.
I nod anyway, “I have something you want, and I want my deal to be a tad bit sweeter.” I responded calmly. I needed to keep my cool so I could also keep the upper hand.
“What is it?” He questions curiously, leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms across his chest.
It’s my turn to lean forward on the table, looking him directly in the eyes, “I want all of this to come off my record once my probation is over.” I speak slowly and carefully, leaving no room for any misunderstanding. He nods softly, before he rises to his feet, holding up one finger before he exits the room.
I sit in silence, letting my eyes travel across the barren room. I spot a spiderweb in the left corner of the ceiling, my skin crawling with disgust. I need to get out of here. My leg began to shake with anticipation, when I was about to start losing my mind, the door opened.
Officer Sturniolo walks back into the room, taking the seat across from me again. He stays silent, just observing me, waiting for me to break. Two can play this game. My eye’s travel across his face, memorizing the shape of his eyebrows and the way his eyelashes flutter against his cheeks as he blinks.
“We have our own conditions, in order to include yours.” He speaks after a few minutes of silence, I nod for him to continue, “You have one infraction during your probation, it stays on your record. You lie to us, it stays on your record.” He informs me sternly, making my mouth run dry.
“Okay, we have a deal then.” I reply softly, lowering my eyes to the table before looking back at him confusedly, “Where do I sign?” I ask, glancing across the table but not finding any papers.
He smirks slightly, “They’re printing up the changes, it’ll just be a few minutes.” He replies cockily, sending warmth between my legs. Of course I’d be attracted to the one man I’ll never have. We sit in a surprisingly comfortable silence, his eyes never leaving me once. The door opened to reveal a taller guy holding a stack of papers, handing them directly to officer Sturniolo before he exited the room.
He slides them across the table with a pen, gesturing for me to sign. I quickly scanned the pages, making sure the deal was what I wanted exactly, before carefully signing.
“How much is the fine?” I ask him, sliding the papers back to him.
He picks them up, “With the amount of drugs you had, you got lucky and only have to pay $500.” He explains quickly, leaning across the table to unlock my handcuffs. “Probation for about 6 months given our little deal holds up, will roughly be a thousand bucks. You have until your probation is up to pay all of the fines, or your probation will be extended and face possible jail time. And our deal would be invalid.”
I nod in understanding, watching as he slides me a blank piece of paper, “Write down the name, I’ll ask a few questions and then I’ll send you on your way.” He explains, watching me closely as I pick up the pen. I write the name down quickly, letting out a huff of air once I have finished.
He reads it, letting a scoff past his lips, “Damien Cross?” He asks with an eyebrow raised.
“Yeah, he hangs around campus a lot and is kinda known to have whatever party favor you could be looking for.” I shrug, I might be telling the truth but the way he’s looking at me makes me feel like a dirty liar.
“How’d you meet him?” I frown as I realize I never even had a proper meeting with him, just kinda walked up to him and asked for the drugs.
We were interrupted by another officer bursting into the room, “Matt, we need the room.” The cop huffed, seeming to be out of breath.
Matt nods, coming to a stand, “We can finish this at my desk.” I nod before following him out of the room. Several officers are barreling down the hallway, a woman screaming somewhere within the group of men. My stomach sinks as I finally see her, all battered and bruised as they shove her into the room I was just in.
“Holy shit.” I mutter to myself, putting a pep in my step and nearly walking into Matt’s back as he came to an abrupt stop. He turned his head, looking behind me before he resumed walking. I stick close to him, in fear of being swept up into something horrible.
Matt leads me to a desk tucked into the corner of the room, pulling up a chair from the desk next to his, having me take a seat.
For the next hour we spent talking about Damien, him taking a few notes here and there. I nearly squeal as a woman approaches us with a bag containing my belongings, instantly snatching it out of her hands. Matt gives me a funny look as I instantly stand, glancing around the room.
“Where can I change?” I ask, turning back to Matt once I can’t find the bathroom on my own.
“I’ll walk you.” He sighs, before he leads me out of the office side of the building, and towards the front. He stops in front of the bathrooms, opening the door for me. I step inside, closing and locking the door behind me.
I peel off the horrible jumpsuit they had made me change into last night, slipping on my black mini skirt. I slide my arms through my tank top before I put on the belt, then finally my shoes. I gather the jail’s clothes, double checking my hair and makeup before opening the door.
“Do I throw these away?” I asked Matt, who was without a doubt checking me out. I pop out my hip, slightly tilting my head. A grin graces my lips as his eyes shoot up to mine, a light blush dancing across his cheeks.
He takes them from my grasp, his fingertips gently brushing against mine. Shocks shoot through my skin, but I wave it off as finding comfort with physical touch after the night I had. He walks me to the front door, stopping me before I make my escape.
“I’ll be at your apartment at 9 AM tomorrow morning, for the first and hopefully only home visit.” He speaks lowly, peering down at me.
“Huh?” I ask, genuinely confused.
A slight smirk takes over his features, “I’m your probation officer, Y/N.”

I think I'm going with miscommunication with Bucky.
*presses button to log it in*
*game show celebration music* congratulations! You have a Bingo!!! 💗 This was fun. I'm hoping it counts as Miscommunication because, technically, it's only one-sided. But I loved it so much I had to write it. Anyway - enjoy! 🥰
summary 'cause it's a little longer: You’re the new recruit with mind-controlling abilities and Bucky hates it. But after avoiding you for a while and being responsible for several dangerous situations because of it, Bucky is asked to resolve his issues with you. He’s not amused, but amazing things can happen when people are trapped in elevators and it makes Bucky realize that, maybe, you’re not as awful as he thought.
Miscommunication (Bingo Game)

“Can you make people cry?”
“Sometimes.”
“What about making them dance real good.” Another man chimed in. You remembered him introducing himself as ‘The Falcon’.
“Depends.”
“On what?”
“Are you a good dancer?” You smirked.
“Is that a challenge?” He raised his eyebrows.
“What about farts, can you make people fart,” The ant guy asked with enthusiasm.
“I... I haven’t tried that yet.”
“Well, it would be a great prank.”
“I guess?” It wasn’t the weirdest thing you’d been asked before - you’d never forget that day your niece brought you to school for your magic talent... kindergartners asked the most unexpected questions. But hearing them from an adult was still a little unusual.
“So you can just make people do things?” The youngest of the group asked.
“Pretty much.”
“How?”
“It’s hard to explain.”
His eyes lit up. “Woah, so you could make Mr. Falcon go and get me a bowl of popcorn right now?”
“Careful, spider boy.” The man - Sam, you believed - warned.
“I could, yes.”
“I’ve never had this much power!” Peter rubbed his hands with a bright smile - his name was easy to remember with all the questions he fired at you.
“You still don’t, kid. Keep it down a little will ya?” The goatee man tapped his shoulder with the twitch of his brow.
“Oh, yes Mr. Stark. Sorry, Mr. Stark.”
“Tony,” he corrected.
“Right. Mr. Tony, sir.”
You’d been here for thirty minutes and everyone was all over you. You didn’t mind, really. On the contrary, you enjoyed that the people you would work with were actually interested. Well, all except for one. It didn’t go past you that one person had been watching you from the corner the whole time, not losing a word, simply staring ahead broodily with his arms crossed
“Alright, everyone,” Tony clapped once, “last question. I still have to show the rookie the rest of the compound.”
“Oh me, me, me!!!” Peter raised his hand and almost picked Tony’s nose.
“Barnes, do you have anything? You’ve been awfully quiet.”
“I don’t need to know shit, Stark.” The brunette pushed himself off the wall, revealing a couple more inches to his height you had not noticed before.
“Don’t be rude, Mr. Barnes,” Peter pouted; he seemed to be adoring you already.
“I’m not rude. It’s just a stupid power that no one needs. It’s fucking dangerous and shouldn’t be part of the Avengers,” he exclaimed and proceeded to leave the room, making you feel a little sad and the rest of the team look baffled.
“Well... okay.” Tony turned to you, rolling his eyes as Peter’s desperate noises reached his ears again. “What’s your question, Peter?”
“Miss, I don’t think your power is stupid. It’s super mega awesome and I seriously wish I could tell Flash about it, he would be so jealous!” You laughed.
“The question, kid.”
“Oh, yes... can you make animals talk?”
-❁-
That had been about four weeks ago, and Bucky had been avoiding you ever since. He had heard what you could do the first day you got introduced, and thanks to Peter he had more than enough knowledge about how vastly your power reached.
Mind control. That was the fucking last thing they needed on the team. How fucking ridiculous. Bucky didn’t want to have anything to do with it, or you for that matter. It was enough that Wanda had the ability to read minds, he didn’t need someone controlling them on top of it.
So Bucky didn’t like you or your power or the danger that came with it, and he put a huge amount of effort into showing you his disdain. When you entered the room, he stood to leave. When you were assigned on a mission together, he tried to switch with someone else - earning him weeks worth of laundry duty for Sam and dishwashing chores for Nat - but that was worth it. And when he wasn’t able to, he communicated with you as little as possible, earning a couple of scoldings from Stark and Fury for not warning you of threats in time - but really, nothing bad ever happened, so Bucky didn’t know what the problem was.
And soon, much to Bucky’s relief, you started reciprocating the hostile behavior he displayed toward you on a daily basis.
Constant bickering, dangerous situations, and death stares were your new M.O. but Bucky knew it only meant for you to finally back off. Because you had tried to be nice to him in the beginning, and Bucky felt a little bad for making you sad, but it was nothing to how sorry he would be if he ever let you in.
A gunshot sounded through the crackly speaker.
“Fuck!”
Followed by a round of grunts and hits of which a fair amount landed in Bucky’s ribs and face.
“Oh right, there’s a hostile headed your way. Sorry, must’ve slipped my mind. I’m a little ‘careless’ at times.”
Yep, that one had hurt. But he’d rather pack a punch than retract his comment about your being careless. Because that’s what you were - or rather your ability. Careless and dangerous.
Bucky watched as Steve crossed his arms after pausing the recording, his captain stare in full force as he watched his best friend lean back in his chair unimpressed.
“Buck, you know I don’t want to do this but it's also my job to make sure my team is conducting missions safely. So, what’s wrong? You don’t usually act this way - even with people you don’t like - so don’t even try.”
Bucky just huffed, crossing his arms as well. He didn’t feel the need to respond. This was ridiculous; everyone should see how dangerous you were.
“You got a chance to solve this the easy way here. Help me out a little, pal. If you don’t cooperate, I need to apply official protocol. So tell me, please, what’s the problem?” Steve’s eyebrows were raised in anticipation, but Bucky was too sulky to help. To hell with this ‘I’m your friend-‘crap - he should go ahead and apply official protocol, maybe they’d see that your ability alone probably violated six paragraphs of the Avengers’ Oath.
He bit his tongue before losing another comment swirling in his head, looking out the window to distract himself from the unfortunate situation he found himself in. Bucky hated when Steve became all professional with him. It was stupid.
“You’re putting yourself and the team in danger,” Steve tried again, “there must be a reason for your behaving like this. Let me fix it. Let me help-”
“I don’t need fixing!” Bucky snapped, his eyes finding Steve’s in a heartbeat as he leaned forward in his chair.
“Then what is it? Do you like her? Is that why you're being so...” The blonde’s hand flailed in the air as he tried to find the words to describe Bucky’s behavior.
“Fuck no.” He leaned back again.
“Language,” Steve warned, only to earn a side eye from his friend.
Bucky knew exactly why he avoided you. And so should Steve. He was his best friend for fuck’s sake. This was the most unnecessary conversation he’s ever had. If anything, Steve should have his back and not try to ‘fix him’.
“You should talk to her.”
“Funny.”
“I’m being serious. What’s the issue?”
“You know damn well what the issue is, Steve!” Bucky rose from his chair but Steve didn't flinch. He merely scolded him for his cursing again.
But after a minute of blank staring at each other, Steve broke the silence again. “You’re scared.”
And Bucky exhaled a long breath before training his eyes on the ceiling. “Of course I’m scared, Steve! There is nothing worse than not being in control.” He looked at him. “Im gonna hurt people. I have before. And being close to her... It just makes the possibility of the winter soldier returning a lot more likely.”
“She wouldn’t do that.”
“You don’t know that. She’s had no training; it could happen accidentally.
Steve was quiet for a while, just looking at his friend, assessing his comment. Bucky could see the wheels turning behind his eyes and after a while, he just stared out the window again until the blonde would present another righteous monologue to him.
“You should tell her,” Steve finally said and Bucky wondered why it had taken him so long to come up with a sentence he’d already said.
“I don’t need to tell her shit. Just keep her away from me.” He rolled his eyes, but he was desperate at this point. Bucky just wanted to go - leave and stop being bothered by everyone.
Steve just shook his head in defeat - Bucky had done it again. Successfully shaken the unavoidable for today. He smiled to himself as he turned to leave the conference room. But before he could reach the last chair on his way, Steve held him back one last time.
“She’s a very nice person, you know? And your attitude towards her is affecting everyone on the team. Maybe, if you could look past your issues with her... You’d see how nicely she fits in with us.” Steve cocked his head to the side with a small smile. “I’m sure you’d get along if you just took the time to get to know her...”
But Bucky only replied with a bitter ‘shut up, punk’ before averting his eyes again. He didn’t like this at all.
Steve sighed. “Just promise me you’ll do something.”
Bucky shot him one last look before turning and leaving without another response.
-❁-
“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.” Bucky looked at you through hooded eyelids upon your entering the elevator.
You just ignored him. You had tried to be nice long enough, tried to make him your friend one too many times, each one teaching you just how vain the attempt had been. Because if you had learned one thing about Bucky Barnes over the past month, it was that he hated your guts and that he was not willing to try and be civil with you. So, you saw no reason to be nice anymore.
“Don’t act like it's my pleasure either.” You turned and faced the door after pushing the buttons to your floor.
Bucky just huffed behind you and you held your head a little higher, trying to let the seconds pass until you could leave again. It’s only an elevator ride - how hard could it be? But time seemed to pass slower than usual, and the unsteady rattling of the glass chamber going up the tower made the whole ordeal that much more unpleasant.
That was until it suddenly stopped, a screeching sound echoing through the small space until the elevator halted abruptly, making you lose your balance for a brief moment.
“What the-“ you muttered and pressed the floor button another time. Then again. And again. But nothing happened.
You tried the emergency call button, but again, nothing. You were stuck. Several hundred feet in the air with Bucky Barnes. Great.
You took a deep breath, there were worse things, you tried to calm yourself, but upon stealing a glance over your shoulder, only to see Bucky glaring at you, that attempt disintegrated. Still, you chose to ignore him. You’d get out of here eventually. Someone would notice you were missing and look for you, check the security cameras, maybe - do something and finally break open these damn elevator doors.
But then Bucky began to shuffle behind you, his steps clicking on the tiled floor of the lift, and uneven pace interrupted by the confines of the small room and it agitated you. It was enough you were stuck in an elevator when you had work to do. Now you couldn’t even concentrate.
“Would you stop pacing?” You finally snapped and turned around only to see Bucky staring at you with wide eyes.
But he caught himself quickly. “What’s it matter to you?”
“It’s annoying. And as much as I hate to be stuck in here with you, we need to find a way not to kill each other until someone comes to help.” You turned back around taking another deep breath and enjoying the silence.
It didn’t last long though because the shuffling picked back up again soon. You waited another minute, but when Bucky made even more noise, a thudding sound coming from behind, you whipped around again to yell at him.
But you stopped in your tracks as you saw him kneeling on the floor, his head tugged beneath his arms as his shoulder heaved rapidly.
“Wha-“You moved forward to help but-
“Stay away from me!” He spat with fire in his eyes and then his head was back between his knees.
You took a step back and assessed the situation. The posture, the heavy breathing, the slight shudder in his hands, the constant rocking. He was scared. He was having a panic attack.
And as much as you wanted to avoid him, you were not cruel. When someone needed help, you helped. “Bucky-“
“I said stay the fuck away!” He crawled back into the corner.
You held your hands up in surrender, carefully trying to speak again. “I just want to help-“
“Well, I don’t need your help. Just back off!” The elevator shook with the boom of his voice, making your breath hitch.
That was it, the last straw. All the pent-up anger of the past weeks bubbled to the surface, desperation and cluelessness balling up in frustration. You could barely feel it crawl up your body before you opened your mouth and screamed back. “What's your problem Bucky? I want you to feel better! What did I do that makes you hate me so much?!”
Your chest heaved in anger, your hands balling into fists as you watched Bucky get up slowly - eyes darker than you’d ever seen before. His arm whirred but he didn’t move it. He merely stepped a little closer to you, towering over you when his husky voice mumbled into the space between you.
“I don’t hate you.” You swallowed and stared up at him, he was intimidating. “I’m fucking scared to lose control and-“ his vibranium arm shot up towards you but you stopped it in its tracks. Bucky’s fist was hanging in the air above you, your power holding him off and it took a fair amount of strength to do so. His eyes shot from his fist back to you, jaw tensing.
“I would never do that.”
“You’re telling me I’m irrational?” He hinted towards his arm still held back by your control and you immediately let it fall back to his side. “...that it couldn’t happen by accident?”
“You underestimate me, Bucky.” You pressed with spite, willing him back a step to leave you space to breathe again.
“I don't know you.”
“And who’s fault is that?” That shut him up.
Bucky flexed his vibranium fingers, testing his own control again before his eyes found you again.
“Let me show you.” You tried softly. Maybe this was the gateway to a start-over. At least now you knew the issue, now there was only solving it left.
Bucky looked at you questioningly.
“Let me show you why you don’t need to be scared.” You smiled and somehow it softened the tension around you.
Bucky’s shoulders relaxed when he stood up straighter. “And why would I want that?” He was stubborn.
“I’m offering an olive branch here. And after all that you have pulled, I suggest taking it. Because I cannot guarantee I’ll feel this nice again if you don’t.”
Bucky watched you carefully for a moment. As if he was trying to detect a joke in your statement, he analyzed every inch of your body suspiciously. And then after another minute, he sighed in defeat.
“Then we need to get out of here.”
-❁-
Bucky was still a little wary now that you had dragged him outside. The sun was shining in the bright blue sky but having you stand so close to him was still making him nervous. He had no idea what he had just signed up for.
There were a few people outside as well, all going about their days and when he turned his head to you, he noticed you watching them intently.
“I can feel their energy,” you stated, making Bucky check if anyone was behaving as though he was influenced by you in any way - they weren’t.
“And, yes, I can make living beings succumb to my will, but when I do, I feel their pain, their mental wars...” You looked at him and Bucky could feel your eyes pushing through to his deepest fears. “I wouldn’t make them do anything I wouldn’t want to endure myself... unless, of course... it’s necessary.”
Bucky thought back to a mission a while back. You had been utilized to make a hostile talk using rather unorthodox strategies. This time you actually had to hold them in place - position their limbs in places they shouldn’t be. He closed his eyes when he remembered your death cries. They had been hunting him for days. But other than you, the hostile had been killed.
“You’re mentally linking with them,” he whispered almost ashamed for not noticing it earlier. Everyone on the team probably knew it already - he had just never taken the time to listen.
“Yes.” He swallowed thickly, watching as you turned to him fully and he mirrored your action.
“If I were to make you- if I..,” you trailed off, took a deep breath, and shook your head. “I wouldn’t do that.”
And that’s when Bucky finally understood. All this time he had avoided you, fought with you, and despised you for thinking you’d be cruel for fun. He felt awful.
Your name slipped from his lips for the first time, calling your attention to his sorrowful eyes. “I’m so sorry.”
You nodded. “It’s okay. I understand it’s scary. I was scared of it, too, when I first found out... But I had a lot of time to learn. And now... I actually know how to utilize my power - control it. It even has some perks.”
Bucky’s eyebrows raised intrigued. A silent question to which you only responded by carefully reaching your hand out so his flesh one.
“Can I?” You asked before actually taking it and Bucky just nodded while watching you carefully.
He felt a lot calmer than he had before. And when you finally touched his calloused fingers, there was no urge to pull away like there had always been. You smiled at him and then nodded up to the sky, urging him to follow your stare.
“Look,” you whispered, and then Bucky felt his spine tingle. All of a sudden, it felt like his feet were lifted off the ground - smooth and subtle - almost comforting, he was engulfed by the feeling of floating - no - flying.
His eyes followed the birds in the sky, which were now rounding effortless constellations several feet above his head and Bucky just knew that they were feeling the same - exactly the same. It was amazing, and even though it was a little strange and scary, your hand holding his made him feel unusually safe.
After a while, Bucky felt the feeling subside, the birds in the sky stopped flying above him and continues their journey east again. Your hand left his but he still felt lighter than he had ever before.
His smile found you. “That’s actually pretty amazing,” he beamed before looking at the birds passing him and then back to you again.
“Yeah... it is.” You smiled as well and Bucky felt all his doubts about you float away with the feeling this extraordinary experience had brought him.
Maybe mind control wasn’t as ridiculous and careless as he had thought it to be...
if you liked this fic, please tell me - it means so much 💓

it's been too long since i've sent something debilitatingly horny to you, so here:
edit: im sorry its so long and plot-y 😭 i've never written for poe and got too excited.
imagine being a first order commander in charge of coaxing information from poe dameron. the first batch of interrogators (a couple stormtroopers) couldn't get a thing out of him so you were called in as back up.
Tumblr media
GIF by antagonistenthusiast
you've had a few interactions with poe (as you're both renowned pilots), but you've never actually seen his face. you've only communicated through radios -- well, communicated is a strong word, you've taunted and growled at each other from a distance...
needless to say, you were intrigued to finally meet this 'poe dameron' that you've been chasing around since you became a flight officer.
you're shocked when you see him, not because he's battered and barely conscious, but because he's prettier than you expected.

of course, he's fucking pretty. he's the resistance's flyboy, the general's favorite, complete with a cut jawline, pouty lips and perfect curls.
it enrages you.
long dark lashes frame half-lidded eyes as you approach him. his body is strapped tight to a chair, but he doesn't seem bothered by it. he's so unbothered, in fact, that he immediately greets you with one of his annoying quips:
"you the good cop?" you're sure it would've sounded better if his voice wasn't so hoarse and broken -- not that you didn't enjoy that sound. there's something about a ruined man that immediately sparks a flame inside of you.
"no, they were the good cops." you refer to the storm troopers that left him this way. "i'm the bad cop, and i like to do things a bit differently..."
you can see it on his face: he recognizes you, or your voice, but he doesn't know from where.
"can't fly away anymore, can you, dameron?"
it finally dawns on him, "you." he almost looks...happy about the revelation.
"yeah, me." his stare is intense and interested, and he's not trying to hide it at all.
cocky bastard.
"y'now i didn't expect such a bea--"
you roll your eyes, "ok, let's stop with all this chatter."
there's a piece of paper sticking out of the breast pocket of his leather jacket, folded several times to fit securely in the space.
"you got something for me?" you coo, voice sickly sweet all of the sudden.
you reach out, gliding your hand from his shoulder to his chest, feeling the smooth leather rise and lower under your fingers as he starts to breathe harder. he pushes against your touch like he's touch deprived, like he's been waiting for this moment all his life.
oh, he's easy.
you snicker as you pluck the paper out, taking a second to wag it tauntingly in front of his face.
"what're you...HEY! THAT'S MINE."
bingo
you open it up, satisfied by how fluidly this interrogation is going. once you deliver this to ren, you're sure to get a promotion.
when you see what's inside, you glower: it's just a worn photo of some BB-droid.
"really?" you give him an unimpressed look. "what, is this your pet or something?"
"he's my driod! my little buddy!"
"ok...so we'll do this the hard way."
---
it starts with pain, but it never seems to be enough. he's -- laughing! he's taunting you, groaning out "is that all you got" or whispering a hoarse "i could do this all day".
you realize you're methods will have to be a bit...unconventional to get your point across. you saw how he reacted to your touch, how he looks at you, even when you're punching him in the face.
you know what you need to do, you're just not sure that you could take it.

you take the step -- blurring the line between pain and pleasure.
it's for the first order, you tell yourself, but you're enjoying it.
you're breathing almost as hard as he is -- you need it just as much as he does.
you've been edging him about an hour now. he whines when you slow your hand again, leaving him right at the brink of release. metal clangs and groans as he pulls against his restraints.
"please, please, please..."
"you know what i need." you squeeze him, not tightly, but just enough to drive him wild. "just one word -- the planet -- and i'll give it to you. i'll let you cum all over yourself."
"c-can't."
"can't? or won't?" you swipe your thumb over his leaking tip. he's literally pulsing in your hold.
"fuck!" he yells out a name, one you immediately memorize, desperate voice and all.
;dlfsl;dfgk oh oh oh ohhhhhhh my goddddddddddddd

no but like, the fact that poe was also kind of into the whole thing though?? him arching into your touch, shooting you heated glances even when you're torturing him, like he likes being at your mercy?????? please send help 🫠🫠🫠
(**WARNING: here there be smut and it could potentially be considered dub-con so read at your own risk**)
if you thought he was pretty before, it's nothing compared to how he looks when he comes--his jaw slack, head thrown back, baring his glorious neck (a neck you just wanna bite), his sweaty curls deliciously mussed, eyes closed in ecstasy as he makes a mess of himself and your hand.
heavenly, you think. the sight is heavenly.
unable to resist, you kiss him softly, so contradictory to the rough way you'd been handling him. he sighs, sagging against his restraints as he kisses you back, his breath fanning across your cheek. you tell him he's a good boy when you pull away and he whines, trying to follow your lips, his mouth gaping, pupils blown wide with lust. he's so drunk on you, on the pleasure you've given him, he'd probably give you whatever you wanted right now; the knowledge fills you with glee. you smile, running a hand down his chest before tucking him back in his trousers.
he comes back to himself when you move to leave, his eyes growing a little harder, jaw clenching as you tell him that you look forward to working with him again.
unfortunately, ren isn't around for you to give him the intel poe gave you, so you hold onto it, intent on telling him when he returns. that night though, you can't sleep, can't stop thinking about poe's breathy whines and whimpers and how pretty he looked begging you to let him come. it's all you can think about, the urge to go to him so strong. so you go, shooing the guards from his cell and going inside. he's asleep, still tied up but removed from the rack he'd been on earlier, bloodied and bruised and beautiful. you allow yourself a moment to study him, eyes tracing the curve of his jaw, of his brow, his nose.
then you take him in your hand, squeezing and stroking, his pretty little noises going straight to your core. you want him, you realize, want to claim him, want to make him yours. the urge is so strong it makes you a little angry--that he could have so much power over you in this state is...well, it's unacceptable.
maybe you just need to fuck him, you reason, to get it out of your system. so you do, straddling him and sheathing his hardness inside your warm, wet cunt. he sounds (and looks) even prettier like this, beneath you, his moans breathy, breathing ragged as you ride him. he feels so good inside you, the stretch of his cock scratching an itch you didn't even realize you had. he watches at you with wide, attentive eyes, hips pushing up to meet yours as you impale yourself on him again and again.
you see stars when you come, cunt clenching around his cock as you throw your head back with a strangled moan. he's still hard and inside you when you come down, his ragged breaths reaching your ears. the look in his eyes is almost reverent when you meet them, and when he begs you to let him come inside you, a little piece of your heart crumbles.
you leave his cell, swearing to yourself that you'll never do it again, that you'll tell ren what you've learned and that dameron will be executed and it'll all be done.
but you don't. can't.
you keep the information you learned to yourself so your trysts with him can continue. every day you go to his cell, send away the guards, and fuck him. you start to look forward to it, to seeing him, to being with him. he starts begging you to let him touch you, and one day you cave and allow it. you groan when he cups your breast, arching into his touch as you bounce slowly on his cock. then his hand falls to your hip, his fingers dig into your skin, and a part of you hopes he'll leave behind bruises. when his thumb finds your clit, he circles the bud, groaning as you gasp, cunt fluttering around him. he whispers something as you fall apart, and it isn't until later that you realize...he'd called you beautiful.
(lmaooooooooooo many, many apologies for going overboard with this, i love me a subby man, especially when that man is poe dameron, hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng)

pairing: dad!bucky barnes x au pair!reader
summary: coney island. break my soul in two looking for you but you're right here. if I can't relate to you anymore then who am I related to?
Sergeant Barnes had taken her advice, something which the other staff who usually came to upkeep the home did not believe. He didn’t take suggestions, at least he hadn’t since he was a child. He was one of those people who’d rather fail on his own accord rather than succeed on someone else’s. He’d just rather be stubborn yet an au pair had had him listening on how to parent his daughter. This had become much more evident when he’d called her somewhere around midday, asking if se could bring Sadie over to the office so he could spend some time with her. She’d never really gone to his office before, she’d never even questioned where it was. Usually a quickly handwritten note stuck to the fridge with a magnet with a just barely understood address. She didn’t know why she had thought he’d have a modest office - nothing about James Buchanan Barnes was modest, and as she stood in front of the glass building that seemed to thrust into the skies forever. In that moment she was afraid she didn’t know who was more in awe of it - her or Sadie who was tightly gripping her hand.
Everything was ... polished, clean, almost crystalline. If she were to be honest, the building from the inside looking like a private high-end hospital or maybe a really white and sleek restaurant. It was intimidating, it matched the owner and it almost seemed out of place for an au pair dressed in Zara clothing and a toddler in beige clothing carrying a very bright Bluey backpack.
      - Hi. - she smiled at the receptionist. - I’m Y/N, I’m Sergeant Barnes au pair. He asked me to bring his daughter to his office.
      - I’ll let him know.
Y/N looked down at Sadie, slightly shaking her arm to try and calm the little girl down. She didn’t look comfortable, staring at everyone who came in and out with fright. It wasn’t unexpected, she didn’t particularly enjoy strangers and this building was a whole building of strangers.
     - Hey, look who it is! - Y/N turned towards the direction of the sound to see Sam.
Sam was one of Bucky’s only trusted people, the other owner of the company and honestly the reason why Y/N knew even the slightest of things about Bucky. He’d usually come by the house to play with Sadie when he could, having named himself as the young girl’s godfather despite Bucky’s objections.
     - That’s the coolest Bluey backpack, Sisi. - he gave her a little twirl. - I’m so jealous. You have to lend it to me sometime.
     - Y/N got it. - she smiled, proudly taking her backpack off to show it to her godfather. - There is Bluey and Bingo.
      - Y/N never gets me presents. - Sam joked. - How are you? I heard from the grapevine that you gave Barnes a good old earful. Is he paying you for babysitting him as well?
      - Maybe he values my opinion. - she teased as Sam placed a hand over his heart feigning hurt. - He’ll tell you off if he sees you hanging around instead of doing whatever it is you two do.
     - I don’t know, Y/L/N. If babysitting ever goes south, perhaps you oughta join us. Would do well with someone who can get Barnes to change his mind.
      - Sergeant Barnes is waiting. - the receptionist returned. - He also said he’ll be expecting a meeting with you soon, Mr. Wilson.
     - Tell him he can keep waiting. - he waved the warning off before squatting down to Sadie’s level. - You go and hang out with dad. Tell me all about it later, Sisi.
     - Bye, uncle Sam. - she waved with a grin before turning back to Y/N, extending her hand towards her again.
The two of them followed the receptionist through clear halls decorated with elegant art, tall white and grey pottery as well as several plants which looked as fresh as any seen in nature. Soon, two large black doors came in view in a scene that reminded her somewhat of the entry to Jurassic Park. Perhaps because both housed two beings with terrible tempers. Sadie held onto Y/N’s leg as the receptionist left the two to grasp with who was going to open the door.
     - Wanna go. - she buried her head in the fabric of Y/N’s trousers. - Please.
     - Sadie ... - Y/N leaned down to pick her up. - Daddy really wants to hang out with you.
The little girl buried her face in her neck, mumbling about being scared. She couldn’t really blame her, the building was intimidating and even though her father sat on the other side of that door, all the 2 year old could see was a big door in a frightening building.
     - We’re going in together. You can hold on to me, it’ll be ok.
     - Promise?
     - Promise. - she smiled down at her before her hand reached to open the door.
The office was without personality, much different to how Bucky had decorated his house. The office was just as clean as the rest of the building, decorated like any other office in a decoration magazine. Whilst his house was sophisticated, there were dots of personality everywhere from Sadie’s drawings on the fridge, to Bucky’s postcard collection in frames everywhere you’d looked. She wondered for a second, for a millisecond, if he even spent time here and if he did how much time did he spend. It looked too pristine but Sadie didn’t care, her face lighting up as she saw her dad.
     - Look who it is. - she pointed at Bucky as Sadie jumped onto the floor to run over to her dad.
     - Daddy, look, Bluey. - she pointed to her backpack. - Y/N gave it to me.
(...)
It was official. Y/N had no clue what to do with her free time. She had done her revision, looked at all her notes, even spent half the afternoon looking through her thesis only to find herself bored. She missed Sadie asking about her thesis, heck, she even missed the sound of the obnoxious children’s cartoons. Therefore, it was not upsetting when she got a message from Bucky, an hour earlier than expected. She walked back into that building with an unshaken confidence, climbing the stairs up to the office.
     - FAIR! - Sadie rushed from the office to hug her leg. - Daddy is taking us.
     - It’s Coney Island. If you’re not busy. - Bucky added as he came not far behind his daughter, keeping a trained eye on her so she wouldn’t wander far. - Sadie said she wanted you to come.
     - What happened to your hair, baby? - she lowered to the 2 year old’s height, finding her hair on a half arranged scrunchie to the right of her head.
     - It’s fine. - Bucky said nervously. - You like it, don’t you, Sisi?
     - No. - she pouted.
     - It’s alright, baby. - Y/N carefully pulled the scrunchie down. - It looks better down anyway.
    - Thanks. - Bucky mumbled. - I’m not good with hair ... at least Sadie’s hair.
It was an odd feeling. An odd feeling as he found himself completely at odds with how to look after his child while she just did it so effortlessly. She seemed to know better, better than him and she was a complete outsider. She wasn’t her mother, she wasn’t family yet Sadie followed her like a baby duck, happily telling her what she did. No tantrums, no anything. All she did was extend her little hand towards Y/N and Bucky couldn’t help the little green monster yearning to come out of him. He’d never really questioned what he was sacrificing, he thought it was ok. That’s what father’s did, right? That’s what his father had done and he always seemed to so tuned to his children’s needs. Yet, here he was, not knowing what to do about his own daughter.
He just starred at the spectacle of the fair, the sounds of children and their parents muzzled by his own thoughts. He just wondered, perhaps with some sort of obsession, if this, if who he was, was enough for Sadie. Was he a father or just the man who gave her a home?
     - Sergeant Barnes? - her voice broke him from a daze he didn’t realise he’d been stuck in from his office all the way to the fair. - Sergeant Barnes, are you alright?
     - Sorry. - he blinked harshly. - I was distracted.
     - I gathered that much. - she looked at him from the corner of her eye. - Work?
     - In a way. - he shrugged. - You’re good with Sadie.
     - It’s part of my job. - she smiled at him. - You should fire me if I’m not good with Sadie.
     - Not what I meant. - he continued looking at the aquarium exposition they’d set which was breath taking for little Sadie. - She really likes you. You can do her hair and she asks for you all the time.
      - Sergeant Barnes, I ...
      - When she’s with me ... - he took a deep breathe, the words getting stuck in the middle of his throat. - When she’s with me she asks for you.
      - She asks for you as well. - she tried to comfort him. - She’s 2. I wouldn’t dwell on it.
      - You’re like Mary fucking Poppins.
      - Or maybe I just give her spoonfuls of sugar. - she joked. - You’re a good dad, Sergeant Barnes. A grumpy one but a good one.
      - I thought we were done with Sergeant Barnes.
     - Well, I am not done with being called sir. - she looked down at Sadie, pulling her away from the aquarium before she attempted to break the glass. - Why don’t we go on the merry go round?
      - Fishies! - she pointed back at the fishes.
      - It’s ok, Sisi. We can get you a gold fish after.
How they had ended up here, Bucky wasn’t sure. All he knew is that Y/N was holding Sadie’s against her chest, the little girl having dozed off after going on every single ride and tent she could find, while Bucky had his handfuls with big stuffed teddies, two goldfishes (because of course Sadie wanted a fish to keep the other fish company), and a half eaten cotton candy which Sadie had said she would finish home.
      - You sure you don’t need help? - she asked, moving Sadie so she was more comfortably laying against her chest. - I can carry one of the stuffies.
      - It’s okay. I may have gone overboard with the stuffies.
      - At least you have a few new fans. - she teased, remembering how some of the mums had fawned as Bucky had easily won any and every fair game to win the biggest teddy available. - I’m sure you’ve increased your popularity.
      - Did you have fun? - he attempted to change the subject. He knew his effect on women and he did not like to discuss it. Last thing he needed was a relationship to disrupt Sadie’s life. He was no stranger to a one night stand or even to having a few friends with benefits but that’s where it ended. For all Sadie, and even Y/N, were concerned he was a celibate, single man. It was for the best.
      - As much fun as you can have when you ride the merry-go-round 10 times.
     - C’mon, you need to have fun. What do you want to do?
     - It’s okay, Sergeant Barnes. We need to get Sadie home and ...
     - Bucky. - he interrupted her. - It’s Bucky and I asked you what you want to do. Trust me, Sadie’s not waking up any time soon. I want you to have fun as well.
     - Fine. I want to shoot some cans.
     - You want to shoot some cans? - he chuckled. - Alright. We can find something like that.
It wasn’t hard to find something like that. He just found it odd she wanted to do that. Perhaps it was the first thing that came through her mind when he asked her to do something she liked or maybe she had some pent up aggression within her. Whatever it was, Bucky was curious. He didn’t know much about her outside of what needed to be known. He knew she was working on her post graduate qualifications, doing a PhD, but he wasn’t sure on what. She didn’t share much.
     - Here, let me hold her. - he shifted the things on his arms, finding space to hold his daughter against his hip. Y/N shrugged, handing him Sadie as if she would’ve easily shot the cans while holding the two year old. - Maybe you should ...
     - I got it. - she grabbed the prop weapon, gathering her aim before shooting 5 cans down in a row.
     - Do you ... do you shoot often? - he looked at her with a mix of confusion and amazement.
     - Not really. - she said, not taking her eyes off the other 5 cans which she easily knocked down before turning to the guy manning the booth. - Can I get the blue dog plush, please?
     - You’re a good shot.
     - Is that a compliment, Sergeant Barnes?
     - I’m a better shot but you’re not bad. - he added. - Come on. We have somewhere else to go.
     - Are you gonna show me how much of a better shot you are?
     - Don’t need to. Have medals to prove it, Y/N. Besides, I have my daughter here.
     - Uh ... I think you’re just scared of losing.
     - Is that so?
     - Yes.
     - Ok. There’s a shooting range about half an hour from my office, I’ll happily show you my skills there.
     - Can’t perform without your familiar tools? - she crossed her arms.
     - Oh doll. - he smirked. - I can perform with any tool you choose.

You ran as fast as you could to escape; although you had failed to obtain the Darkhold, you had obtained another important element. You mentally cursed Steve, telling him that you were not the right one for the mission, but he insisted, and of course, everyone listened to him.
But you couldn't stand it, simply because you owed Fury a favor by agreeing to be on the team, not to mention the fact that it seemed Tony had deliberately put you on the missions as a pair.
"Did you bring it?" Steve asked as soon as he saw you.
"Obviously no; I told you we needed a telepath or someone who could open portals; Morgan almost got me; I'm lucky I got out unharmed, but I brought the rest of the stuff," you said, completely annoyed. The only thing he had done all this time was to stay outside on "guard duty."
"We need..."
"Then go and get it," you spat, already tired of Steve's attitude towards you.
"Natasha would have brought it no matter what."
"Then go get her and make her bring it."
"You have powers..."
"And you're a super soldier; I'm only helping them because Fury asked me to; you're unbearable." You started to walk.
None of you realized that Morgan had seen everything; she knew what you had come for; she had even allowed you to take some things; she smiled when she saw you arguing and then recited some words. You never realized that she had bewitched you.
You couldn't stop thinking about Steve that night in the shower, but this time it was different.
On the other hand, Steve couldn't stop thinking about you either. The next morning, he got up very early to go for a run, but as soon as he saw the bakery with some cupcakes decorated with hearts, he didn't hesitate and went in to buy them, remembering that he had seen you eating those kinds of cupcakes several times.
"I brought you this," Steve said, offering you the box of muffins, which you took.
"Do you have any plans for Friday night?" You asked.
"Only if you have plans."
"Then I'll see you at eight."
"I'll be on time."
You closed the door. Lorna was looking at you confusedly from the other side of the screen. Steve had interrupted the video call they were having.
"Have you asked someone out? That doesn't sound like you," Lorna commented in surprise. "Who was it?"
"Steve," you replied without paying much attention.
"Steve Rogers?" Lorna was beginning to suspect that something strange was going on, probably as a result of the mission you had told her about, but before she did anything, she wanted to talk to someone who knew a lot about it.
Tumblr media
"What do you know about this mission?" Nico asked.
"Not much; they were going for a book, and that it was a place where I think there was a sorceress or something like that," Lorna replied.
"Maybe it's Morgan... I think they have a curse; I'll have to find out how."
"Wait, no, maybe we should just leave it at that."
"But... "
"Y/N deserves to be happy; there's a chance that deep down they actually liked each other."
Tumblr media
All week long, you and Steve had been flirting; even the rest of the team was starting to get suspicious.
"Well, they say there is only one step from hate to love," Natasha commented to Clint.

Hello 👋 could you do yandere Shanks and his crew x female reader. (The reader is in a relationship with Shank, and the crew is more like brothers.) One day, shanks and the crew bring in 3 men to be a part of the crew, but it turn out they are from a different group of pirates, and they need someone to hold ransom too. But the old shanks is so proud to show off to the reader. Shanks introduced them to her and there like "bingo!" They waited for a month so they could get them to trust them. When the time was right, one man sneaked into shanks room and took the reader from under shanks arm, while two other men were getting the boat ready to leave. While they were so close to getting everything together. The men hear Shank saying "Well is this a very lovely night, isn't it? Taking my beloved for a boat ride how sweet. " Shanks said while the crew is in the background staring at them. The three men got scared and were about to jump off the ship with the reader, but Shank used his haki to knock them out. When the men dropped to the floor, the reader also dropped to the floor with them, and it woke her up. When the reader asks what happened, why was everyone outside for. Shanks just said it was nothing. Are you two ok? While Shank hand was rubbing the reader tummy. When the reader answer shanks question he carried her back to their bedroom, but was also giving Ben the look to put those men away. He'll "talk" to them later. (Sorry if this was a lot. There's not a lot with shanks crew, and I think it'll be so cute that every last member of shanks crew is like a big, protective older brother to the reader. And monster (the monkey) is like a guard dog. Ready to go ape shit to someone lol.)
Tapohakkskdk ok!!!
Yandere Shanks x Reader (
Tumblr media
The crew was agitated as usual, YN, a beautiful young woman was in a relationship with the captain, who loved her more than the stars can count, once, Shanks takes new crew members to his ship, who ended up asking to be on the crew of the Shanks, after being spared, they are taken to the ship, but the moment the three looked at YN, who was going to steal a kiss from Shanks, the men were attracted, but not in a good way
men wait between 3 months to get Shanks' trust, but always keeping in mind YN
One night, YN was sleeping on the ship, while Shanks was in a bar on the island, Shanks wanted to take her to the bar, but, YN said she was tired and wanted to sleep, Shanks trusted his crew, so he didn't need to lock the shipdoor, but, he trusted those men too
- she is so beautiful...
- she must be worth millions
- we are not going to kill her, we are going to take her and run away from here, we are going to sell her to the Celestial dragons
The three agreed, in a quick movement, they pick her up and take her to the deck, where the crew was not, in a short time YN wakes up, seeing the situation, starts to struggle, when they go down to the boat, someone appears, a large, tall, red-haired man with a bloodthirsty look
- Well,is this a very lovely night isn't it? Taking my beloved for a boat night, how sweet- Shanks said
- you guys got several things wrong, first: touching YN, second: trying to kidnap YN, third: you guys would sell YN to the Celestial dragons, I can't imagine what she would suffer, I have to protect her, she's just mine, none of you will be able to take her away from me! I'll kill anyone for her- Shanks said before using his Haki, the men were trembling before passing out
Some minutes later, YN wake up
- Shanks, what happened?- YN asked
- it's nothing, let's go to the room, yes? - Shanks said with a slight smile, while taking YN to the room, he gives Benn a look that said he wanted to talk to the mens later
YN was always very protected by the crew, mainly Benn, always having their vision, except Shanks and Monkey, as older brothers, YN almost didn't cause problems, always helped and gave a lot of attention to Shanks, when YN walks without Shanks on some island , YN is accompanied by Monster, but, that day, Shanks punished the men, Shanks almost lost YN
- Shanks, are you okay?- YN asked
-I'm fine, honey, haven't you slept yet?-
- I was worried about you...-
- no need to worry, go to sleep, I'll be with you soon, I'll just need to talk a little -
Shanks said leaving the room, but before that, Shanks kisses YN passionately, murmuring loving and sweet things before leaving and finishing the punishment of three men

One Last Order, Part 2
A/N: I finally finished! I started this in March and brought it kicking and screaming over the finish line. And I decided to make it my entry for the "Rex" square on my Clone x Reader Bingo Card, so bonus. @clonexreaderbingo
Pairing: CT-7567/Rebels!Rex x Fem!Reader (no physical descriptions beyond age markers - gray hair/wrinkles/etc.)
Tumblr media
Rating: E, 18+, Minors DNI
W/C: 6,402 (this got away from me I'm so sorry. I did edit, this is with about 1,000 words cut)
Warnings: Explicit intimacy, oral sex (f receiving), fingering, descriptions of depression (past if you squint) Please Read Responsibly.
Summary: The years piled on and dragged you down after your love left you. Eventually, you found renewed purpose in helping the Rebellion. When you finally have to hide away or risk being caught by the Empire, you're forced to confront your past. The question remains what will become of your future.
One Last Order, Part 1
This is right.
You kept repeating that to yourself. Over and over in your mind until you thought you could believe it.
This wasn’t the first time your arms dealing had gotten on the imperial radar. “Subversive trading” was you had called it when you first established contact with a local cell.
But it was the first time that Erie, your main point of contact, pulled you out and didn’t relocate you.
That’s what felt so wrong — the fact that you were here, in the base that acted as headquarters for the Rebel Alliance, and not still out there. You could still be out there. Stealing from the Empire right under its nose, redistributing resources and passing along the best findings to various rebel efforts. Even helping the occasional force sensitive pass unseen along your stop on the Path.
“Scowl any harder and you’ll scare everyone away.”
Erie had a brow raised, her teasing tone managing to still keep its edge as she turned to give you her full attention now that you were safely inside. Your sigh did little to relieve your worries, but you used the exhale to release some of the tension in your stance.
“I just don’t-”
“No, you don’t. That’s the point,” she was firm without being harsh as she cut off your well-worn argument. “No one in the field ever has the full picture for everyone’s safety. You’re just going to have to trust me when I say this was our only option. Otherwise, you’d be staring at the inside of an imperial cell sooner rather than later. And you’ve grown on me too much to be left out there on your own.”
A not so small seed of affection squeezed at your scarred heart and you let the corner of your mouth tilt in the smallest smile.
“Fine. Just … Just put me to work soon, okay? I want to be useful.”
“Oh, honey!” Erie barked, her sharp laugh tinged with just enough steel to make you almost regret your request. “Don’t you worry. We’ll run you ragged soon enough. For now, though, there’s not much that needs doing that isn’t already getting done. You’re allowed to take a night to adjust.”
She passed you a slip of flimsy with a rough map of the base on it. Several of the rooms were circled with descriptions.
“If I knew you were short on datapads, I’d have lifted a few before leaving. Kriff, the Rebellion must be struggling more than I realized.” You teased, bringing the page closer to your face to make out the poor writing.
“Har har. You’re a riot. That’s for safety too, smartass. Datapads can be sliced.”
Erie took your wrist in her hand to bring the page between you and pointed to a circled room on the left. Your bunk. Private for now, but she warned that would likely change soon. Your eyes tracked the path on the page as you gave a nod. “Got it. I’m going to start unpacking. Wanna help?”
“I would, but I’m needed at a mission debrief in a few.”
“Oh, okay. I’ll see you later, then.”
“Definitely. I’ll grab you before dinner and introduce you to everyone.” She answered with a brilliant smile. “Ya know, there are a couple of real cuties here you should get to know.”
Your laugh came out easy enough — as easy as it should in a lighthearted conversation with a friend. But it was a little thing, all breath and tinged with bitterness. “Oh no, I’m far too old for that nonsense.”
“You’re not. And they’re going to come sniffing even without my interference.” Erie’s eyes swept down your figure pointedly.
You know she means well, but you can’t help that the thought of anyone looking at you that way again — the way he had — makes your breath catch in your throat. It threatened to choke you.
“I’m right and I’m not arguing this.” You force a lightness into your tone you don’t feel and grab for your bags before she can respond. “Have fun at your debrief!” You call over your shoulder, heading down the hall to your quarters.
Squeezing the strap in your hand, you took a deep breath, allowing the feel of the leather against your palm and the air expanding your lungs to ground you. It stopped you from spiraling, but it didn’t stop the heat from spreading across your cheeks.
It was embarrassing, after all. You could admit that objectively. It’s been years since he left. You understood his decision then, and you understood it now. You never actually agreed with him. But you remember his eyes when he gave you that last order, begging you to listen. And you couldn’t bear to tell him no.
And so he left. Left to go do whatever it was he felt he needed.
And left you alone.
Back then, you wanted to hate him, to burn away the phantom touch of his hands on your skin, to gnash your teeth at the whisper of his name and to curse the day he came into your life.
But even as the grief permeated your every cell, moving from your mind to morph into a physical shroud that mutated your body in its image, you couldn’t find the strength to hate him.
It wouldn’t have helped anyway. It would have only calcified your pain into a tool to hurt others.
So you let the years slip by, shrinking your world into something that you could manage — your apartment, the odd jobs you took to keep yourself fed — all the while shrinking your heart and closing it off. The numbness prickled at your consciousness, but you found it more bearable than the pain of loneliness.
Of wanting him and no one and nothing else.
That is, until you got a job stocking shelves at a mechanic’s shop. A boy came in one day looking for a new filter for his air circulation system. While your boss grumbled about the difficulty of procuring pre-imperial parts, you caught sight of the insignia on the inside of the boy’s jacket as he moved to grab a handful of credits.
For the first time in longer than you’d care to say, determination had flooded your veins. You couldn’t change the past. You couldn’t walk by his side. But you could help this boy, this new movement in their fight for their better tomorrow.
And maybe, even distantly, it would help him, too.
You still didn’t let too many people get close. It’s easier this way, you had rationalized. Easier to lie. To steal. To disappear in the dead of night and start your operations over on a new planet whenever Erie tipped you off to an upcoming raid.
Now, though, as part of the Rebellion proper, you’d likely find safe distance harder to maintain.
It hadn’t been too hard to relearn the rhythm of banter between friends when you opened up to Erie. Hopefully, that will be true for the others you meet. And it won’t be too hard to scoff off attempts by any young guns set on impressing you … if Erie was to be believed about their intentions, anyway. You had serious doubts considering you were at least a decade older than most of the contacts you’ve met.
What would be hard is if you saw any of them. You knew a few had joined the ranks, offering their expertise and lifetime of training to the cause. Of course some would. It’s in their DNA. It’s all they’ve known.
It isn’t fair to them, but you weren’t sure you could handle seeing their face. His face.
You still loved him. No matter how small you made your world, made yourself, you couldn’t change just how thoroughly he claimed your heart. Even now, with Erie’s comment rattling in your brain, you could feel your stomach gurgling, pushing you to pause as you come to the next turn.
Another deep breath. In. Out.
Pulling your shoulders back, you start again … only to run into what feels like a wall when you face makes contact with hard duraplast.
Oh, kriff.
“Dank ferrik! Watch where yer going!”
The growl was unfamiliar, the tone harsher than anything he ever directed at you. But your body reacted to that voice before you could gather a rational thought. Heat surged through your blood even as cold fear sent your stomach into a freefall.
“S-sorry.” Your eyes focused on his jaw, unwilling to look higher until you caught a glimpse of a small scar on his neck.
He didn’t have that.
Tilting your head back, you finally met the man’s gaze. Luck was on your side as your eyes traced over the raised scar bisecting one eye, the cybernetic beneath analyzing you.
He didn’t have that, either.
Wolffe. You had met, briefly, when you joined the boys at 79’s a lifetime ago. But it was just the once, and if luck continued smiling on you, he wouldn’t remember a thing.
“I’m, uh, new. I was just focusing on finding my way and wasn’t paying attention to much else. Sorry about that,” you said, forcing a small smile to ease the tension. From what you remember hearing among the guys, there wasn’t much that could ease the overwhelming aura of Commander Wolffe. But hey, it couldn’t hurt to try.
“Better learn to multitask, then.”
You tried to ignore the way his eyes narrowed at you. “Sure thing. Sorry again. See you around.” The words tripped off your tongue with less grace than your feet as you clumsily slipped past the clone commander to continue down the hall.
You could feel his intense glare burning your back all the way to your room.
*****************
Callused fingers slid back and forth across his forehead in a vain attempt to alleviate his headache. The mission had been a success, technically. It still took all his self control not to drill the crew of the Ghost for their sloppiness.
They were a solid bunch, but by the Maker they made things needlessly difficult. The debrief took far longer than necessary just cataloging all the supplies that didn’t make it home. It almost — almost — made him nostalgic for his more regimented days in the GAR.
He did miss assigning latrine duty to mouthy troopers. Too bad he enjoyed the freedom of the rebellion a little more.
Leaving the briefing room, Rex strode down the hall toward the mess, heavy footsteps rebounding down the durasteel as he checked his comm. Curiously, it had gone off during his meeting. Everyone who had his frequency was either in the room with him or had just returned and was settling in for their respective post-mission routines.
His curiosity only grew upon seeing the culprit was Wolffe. His brother never interrupted a meeting, the GAR indoctrination still proving pervasive in his mind. Slightly worried and even more curious, Rex hit the redial button.
“Finally,” Wolffe grumbled through the comm as his likeness was projected above Rex’s wrist.
“Remind me never to rely on you for patience, vod,” he teased, unable to resist riling up his brother even more. “What’s up?”
“New meat on base. I bumped into her earlier.”
“Knock it off,” Rex snapped. His small frustration from earlier immediately flared into pissed off. Wolffe knew better. “My answer is still no.”
“I have a feeling that’s gonna change this time.”
Rex’s nostrils flared and he could feel his anger spreading, tensing his muscles as if he were in the heat of battle. “Never.”
And he meant it. It didn’t help and never would.
He couldn’t regret the path he took. He had been the difference between life and death for so many brothers … and so many others since then. But with every breath he regretted what he had done to you. That last look you had given him still cut deep. Too deep to ever heal.
“When are you gonna learn that your ori’vod is always right?” The grin that curled over Wolffe’s face gave new meaning to the term wolfish.
Rex was about to tell him to shove it, but Wolffe beat him to it, silencing him with just two words.
“It’s her.”
*****************
Releasing one last breath, you sunk into the mattress beneath you, finally feeling the tension leech from your limbs.
Seeing Wolffe had shaken you, and you allowed yourself a few minutes to fall apart in the privacy of your room. You let the sting of what was lost crest over you. It passed through at a steady pace, neither rushing nor lingering, giving you time to refocus and recenter. Each inhale pushing it to the edges of your body, each exhale banishing it to the fringes of your mind. For now.
Roughly passing your palms over your eyes to dry them, you shifted your focus to your bags. The task at hand should distract you. Moving through the motions always helped you put the past back where it belonged. Besides, Erie would be done with her debrief soon and the Force alone knew how long she planned on dragging you around the base tonight.
A small smile unfurled on your lips a while later as a light knock reverberated through the door. You tossed the rest of your yet-to-be-folded clothes into the chest that lay at the food of the bed and began speaking as you walked over to the control panel, projecting so Erie could hear you on the other side.
“And here I was thinking you forgot about—”
But when the door slid open, your friend wasn’t on the other side. Where her eyes should have been stood a wall of muscle, evident even behind the chest plate. It was dingy, scuffed armor that had seen better days after too much fighting, flecks of blue paint hanging on for dear life as if determined not to fade into obscurity.
“Me.” The last word came out a whisper without your consent, your bold tease fizzling into insecurity.
If you had been hesitant to meet Wolffe’s eyes, you were obstinate in your determination to keep your gaze straight on that armor. You had never been strong, never claimed to be. But this was a new type of weakness, foreign as it flooded your bones. Your jaw trembled as all your effort was focused on holding back the surge you could feel coming.
“Oh, mesh’la.”
His sigh nearly undid you, and you could feel yourself blinking rapidly, your body fighting just to hold steady. You could. You just needed a moment.
But it seemed he had other plans. It was gentle; of course it was. He was always so kriffing gentle with you. Even when you had taunted him, teased him into being rough, it never lasted. He had spoken to you gently, guided you gently, held you gently, loved you gently.
He had broken you gently.
And now, as those damned fingers pressed under your chin to force your gaze upward, they were so heart-achingly gentle, opening the old wounds anew. He was a man built for battle. And yet you found his most brutal side in his gentleness.
Unable to resist — you never were good at denying him — you finally met his gaze.
“I could never forget you.”
Your heart squeezed painfully hearing the words you’d longed for as his rich brown eyes swept over you, taking you in. It stuttered at the thought of what he must be seeing. Mussed hair with so many more grays than before. Crow’s feet that spread from the corners of your eyes to your temples with various other lines crossing your face, interrupted only by the freckles and sunspots you’ve collected over the years.
You weren’t usually vain. But you wore the years plainly on your face … and on your body. At least if I’d been able to put on a clean shirt, you lamented.
The self-deprecation was like a jolt to your brain, bringing you back to yourself, to the present. Rex was here, in your doorway, fighting for the rebellion. It makes sense. That’s what he set off to do all those years ago. But you never let yourself wonder what he was actually doing for fear your wonderings would lead to knowledge you couldn’t survive: Him not being with you was painful; him not being was unimaginable.
But before you stood confirmation that he was alive and well.
And not once did he try to contact you.
Clearing your throat quietly, you plastered a smile on your face, the one you reserved for difficult customers and nosey neighbors, and prayed it didn’t look at stiff as it felt.
“Well, you’re not Erie.” Your tone was light and sounded artificial even to you.
Rex’s responding laugh was just as fake. “No, I’m definitely not.”
His hand dropped back to his side, but his eyes remained locked on yours, searching. For what, you couldn’t guess, and even if you could, you weren’t sure if it still existed. But you are sure that whatever is going to happen next won’t happen in the public hallway.
“Do you want to come in?” You asked, pulling back, pulling away, pivoting to let him pass to enter your room.
“Thank you.” He paused once he took a few steps in. No longer restricted to the GAR meal plan, he had filled out. His broad shoulders almost grazed the sides of the doorway as he passed through, and while his muscles were still evident, they were covered pleasantly by a layer of healthy fat that made him seem even larger than how he loomed in your memory.
As you glanced down, you caught sight of his hands, curling into fists only to unfurl and curl again. The thought that he could be just as unsettled in that moment as you felt was jarring … but welcome.
You moved to sit on your bed, gesturing to the other end for him lacking another option.
“Looks like you’re already settled in,” he noted, shifting to bend one leg to turn to face you. He wore his years, too. But they looked much better on him. His blonde hair was gone, shaved down to the skin. The full white beard was new, too, and rather impressive.
It helped that he looked different. Helped you feel like you could get through this without embarrassing yourself. And you wanted to. You wanted at least to be able to talk to him as a friend again. He may not want you the way he used to, but you could be cordial to a fellow rebel.
“Yeah, didn’t have much to unpack. I guess that’s the bright side of a last-minute extraction.” The tint of humor colored your voice a little more naturally. Confidence trickled slowly, but it was there. You clung to it like a lifeline.
“Extraction? What the kark were you up to that needed an extraction?”
Your eyes cut to his, challenging his sharp tone with your own. “What I could. What, did you think I’d be a good little citizen of the Empire?”
The hit landed better than any punch you could throw. He recoiled, if only slightly.
Guilt curdled your stomach. You didn’t want it to go this way, for the accusation to fill your voice even though you left it out of your words. But you couldn’t help that small, dark, nasty piece of who you used to be that wanted him to feel a fraction of what he put you through.
“I’m sorry. That wasn’t fair. I didn’t … I didn’t want to be angry if we ever met again,” you confessed, catching the corner of your lip between your teeth. “And besides, I likely would have ended up here anyway.”
You moved to pick at your already threadbare sheet as the silence coagulated around you, thick and heavy.
“No, it was fair. More than.”
You found yourself mirroring his deep breath as he continued.
“You never were one to rest on your laurels. I just … I always liked imagining you on your home planet or somewhere in the Outer Rim, curating your library or working on your crafts. Something peaceful, on a peaceful planet far away from the mess of the Empire.”
The hint of a smile touched the corners of his mouth as the weight of his admission settled around you. You didn’t want it to comfort you.
And yet …
When Rex left, he said it was his duty to find and save his brothers. To do that, he needed to leave you behind. You always understood that to mean you couldn’t keep up. You would be a liability to his mission, one he couldn’t risk.
And yet …
“You thought about me?”
Rex’s eyes hardened, singularly focused on you as he reached out to grab your hand. Even now, as a fire you refused to name burned clearly in his eyes, he was still achingly gentle in his touch.
“I thought about you every day.” He spoke almost insultingly slowly, every word bursting with intention. “You were the thought that kept me going.”
“Then why-” You swallowed down the crack in your voice, hating how it revealed just how tenuous your control was. Rex moved closer to you, bringing his hand up to your cheek, but you leaned away and pushed it down. Gently.
“Why didn’t you come back? You never even commed.”
“I had to keep you safe-”
The speed with which he was ready to spit out the answer, like he had rehearsed it, fanned the flames licking up your spine, forging it to steel.
“That’s osik and you know it. No one is safe from the Empire, and-”
“And I realized that. Took longer than it should have to get through my thick skull, but it did. Wolffe and Gregor helped get that lesson in. So I went back to Coruscant. And you were gone.”
The shock from his admission kept you frozen so that when Rex reached for you again, you let his palm curve around your cheek. You had left Coruscant a few years after the fall of the Republic, unable to stay in the shadow of your lost life.
If you hadn’t ...
“When I couldn’t find you on planet, I convinced myself it was for the best. I had been a coward when I left. I hurt you. I thought it was to protect you, but I think even then I knew I was keeping myself safe more. Me leaving meant I would never have to see you in danger. So when I saw you also left, it meant you moved on. You weren’t hurting anymore. You were starting a new life … just like I told you to.”
His thumb moved back and forth across the dry skin of your cheek as he pulled you forward. You fell into him, your hands braced on his knees as he pressed his forehead against yours.
“But that was an excuse. I was still just a coward. I didn’t know what I could say to you that would do any good and … I didn’t want to see someone else next to you, living the life I wanted.” His eyes closed before he continued. “You deserve the galaxy, and I didn’t know how to give it to you. I still don’t.”
It was a confession saturated with guilt and shame. It crawled over you as your tears finally slipped past your control to pool against his thumb.
Safe from the weight of his gaze, you gave a confession of your own. “I never wanted the galaxy. I only ever wanted you.”
Rex’s eyes snapped open, and you could feel his heavy breaths matching yours. Before he had the chance to say anything, you pushed the words out of your mouth, letting the purest truth you knew pour out of you.
“I didn’t leave to start over. I left to escape. The opportunity to help the rebellion came to me, so I took it. It was my way of fighting against the thing that stole you from me. And … And if I did my job right, if I smuggled enough blasters, and med packs, and rations, then I wasn’t just helping the rebellion. I was keeping you safe, too.”
It wasn’t everything. It was barely enough. But you needed him to know, beyond a doubt, that your heart always had been and always will be only his.
“The thought that I could be helping you was what kept me going.”
His grip on you tightened, pulling you impossibly closer. “Can-” Now it was his voice that broke. “Can I kiss you? Please, sweetheart, can I-”
Maybe at one point, a younger you would have kept your composure, would have remained determined not to let Rex see just how desperate he could still make you.
But time had taught you well just how fleeting it could be. And you knew pride was nothing compared to the feeling of your love on your lips.
So, there was no hesitation as you closed the distance, answering the ache in his voice with the frantic press of your lips to his. The brush of his beard was foreign, the hair scraping and chafing your skin. But you couldn’t care when the familiar touch of his kiss grounded you, made you feel whole and alive in a way you forgot possible.
It hurt, feeling the small, shriveled thing you had allowed your heart to become taking up room in your chest once again, filling up with nothing but him — the feel of his skin on yours, the smell of his soap tickling your nose, the sound of the small noises that escaped his lips as he devoured yours in turn.
But it was a pain you’d welcome a thousand times over if it meant Rex’s mouth stayed on yours. This wasn’t just a kiss. It was a rebirth, the two of you breathing new life into one another.
You shivered as his tongue slid along your bottom lip. A whimper betrayed your need and you opened for him, letting him explore what has always been his. Blood roared in your ears, and you cursed it for drowning out the sound of his groan as his tongue danced along yours.
Pressing yourself ever closer, your hands slid up his impossibly thick thighs for balance as you leaned into him, needing to feel him everywhere. Thank the Force Rex understood. He always did, after all. He lifted you with ease to pull you into his lap, his arms wrapping securely around you to keep you in place as your legs slid around his waist.
But then he pulled his face away, holding you firm as your hands curled around his shoulders and your lips tried to chase him.
“I’m sorry, sweet girl.” His eyes pierced into you, and you could see how determined he was for his apology to reach you. “So, so sorry.”
“It’s-”
“Don’t say it’s okay. It’s not.” There was the captain you remembered, his tone curtailing any argument before you could even raise one. “But if you’ll let me, I plan on spending every spare moment I have making things right.”
He softened, but his eyes were just as intense. “You don’t have to answer right away. I want you to be sure; no regrets. Because if you say yes, mesh’la …” His arms tighten around you, the pressure of his strength sparking delightfully across your torso as every ounce of insecurity melted from your body and his lips moved to graze your ear. “I’m never letting you go again.”
“Please don’t,” You beg, barely letting him finish. “Please don’t ever let me go. Hold me, claim me, make me yours. Build a future with me so I never have to live without you again. Choose me ... the way I never stopped choosing you.”
The silence in the wake of your plea lasted only as long as a single heartbeat. Then, something in Rex shattered.
He may have broken you gently, but he was going to rebuild you roughly.
Coarse hands lifted you again as if you weighed nothing, throwing you onto your bed and knocking the breath from your lungs. Before you could even think, Rex was on you, his hips pressing you into the mattress as his hands slid up and down your sides.
“I do choose you.” You shiver at the growl in his throat as the words slide down your spine to pool deep in your belly. His hands slide under the thin fabric of your tunic, and you preen as his fingertips dance along your skin. “And I’ll keep choosing you. Let me prove it. Can I show you, pretty girl? Show you how I can take care of you?”
Your eyes slipped closed as his indulgent tone; your core fluttered at the dark promises dripping from his lips. But a quick, sharp sting on your neck pulls you back.
“Eyes on me,” he reprimanded, though his smirk as he licked the skin red from his nip betrayed his amusement. “I need an answer, mesh’la.”
“Yes! Yes, please. Stars, Rex, show me!”
You should be embarrassed by how quickly you cave for him. But how can you be when Rex wasted even less time in claiming your mouth again, all tongue and teeth as he left no part untouched. You reveled in the attention, undulating hips demanding even more as your hands trailed along the broad curve of his shoulders. You followed the line of muscle down his arms, feeling as they shifted with the movements of his own hands.
Hands that locked around your hips and forced them to still. “Not yet.”
His admonishment wasn’t quite enough to dissuade you from challenging him. You pushed your core against his length, leaving you breathless at how perfectly it pressed against where you needed most.
Rex’s responding moan reverberated through you pleasantly. His dark chuckle, however, gave you pause. You’d heard it maybe once or twice, and you knew it meant trouble.
“I said …” He moved so his legs straddled yours, his full weight holding you still as he held both your wrists in one hand above your head. “Not. Yet.”
You pushed against his grip, needing to put your hands on him again, to feel him. Every inch of you needed to be touching every inch of him now.
“Please, Rex. Please, I need …” Your desperation stole your words and turned them to whines. This wasn’t the first time you felt carnal desire since he left. But you had always just taken care of yourself, quick and efficient, turning pleasure into a task like any other.
Now, you were consumed by your need.
A sweet kiss graced your lips lightly before Rex hushed you.
“I know, sweetheart. I know. But I’m going to take my time with you. It’s been so long, and I wanna take care of you right. You’re going to come undone on my tongue …” At this, his tongue made itself known as he licked a steady stripe up the side of your next, pouring fuel on the inferno raging just under your skin.
“On my fingers …” His free hand trailed over the wet skin, continuing past your neck, over your collarbone to tease mercilessly at the top of your breast.
“And once I feel you’re ready, you’ll come all over my cock.” Rex brought one of your hands down to the front of his pants, letting you feel his hardness through his trousers. “But you’ll need to be good and listen. Can you do that?”
You nod, whipping your head up and down, willing him to give you exactly what he promised now but groaning when he moves your hand away from him.
“Wound up this bad already? I believe that’s a new record. You need to use your words, pretty girl.”
You wanted to slap him for his teasing, but your pointed glare would have to suffice. “No shit it’s a record. I’ve been waiting,” you huffed.
Rex stilled. “Have…Have you not …?”
You could feel the heat returning to your cheeks so you answered before he could find his words if only to cut your own embarrassment short.
“No. I mean I took care of myself, but…”
Unbridled lust was the only thing you saw when you met Rex’s eyes again. “Then I won’t make you wait any longer.”
Using his grip on your wrists, he pulled you up and with a speed you didn’t realize he had, he stripped your tunic from your body. Before you could even register the cold pebbling your nipples, he moved to your waistband, peeling your underwear and leggings down in one move, pausing only to pull your shoes off before you’re completely bare before him.
“Kriff, Rex,” you huffed, impressed as Rex cast off his chest piece with as little regard as possible.
But the man above you focused only on your newly revealed form. You moved to touch him in return, hoping to hide a few of the new rolls of your abdomen against his.
You should have realized by now tonight was going his way.
“Let me see you, ner mesh’la karta,” he commanded. You didn’t want to, but since you never thought you’d ever get to hear another order from your captain, you obeyed, laying back and following his eyes with yours as they took you in.
He leaned down, dragging his lips over your stomach to graze the bottom of your breast with his teeth. Gently, but with the threat of rough just under the surface.
You wanted both … everything … anything he would give you.
“Perfect.” You keened at the praise, lifting and offering yourself to his mouth and earning a smile in return. “Oh yes, I remember …”
His tongue ran across your nipple before he blew softly, sending a shudder through you. You didn’t suffer long before he wrapped his lips around your peak and sucked hard. Nothing could have stopped the cry that spilled out of you as your back arched, your body mindlessly giving him even more access.
And he took every inch you gave. Releasing you with a satisfying pop, Rex reached up to turn you to face him with one hand as the other moved down your body to rest just at your mound.
“Spread your legs for me. Be a good girl and show me that pretty little pussy of yours.”
You pulled your knees up and wrapped your hands around them to pull them apart and hide how he made you tremble. The cool air, made colder from your slick, tickled your sensitive skin. But it was the reverent hunger on Rex’s face that made your cunt clench around nothing.
“Please, Rex. I—”
He didn’t let you finish your pathetic plea, instead diving forward, his movements just as desperate as you felt. His hands encircled your thighs, pushing them even further apart as he buried his face into your core and let his tongue sink into your wet hole with a satisfied moan.
His tongue laved against you, determined to touch every inch of you before gliding up to circle your clit. As your breathy whimpers turned into full-fledged cries, you absentmindedly hoped that the walls around you were thicker than they looked before Rex wrapped his lips around your nub and sucked.
A moan erupted from deep within you as your muscles contracted and sent a gush of arousal spilling out of you, leaving you unable to care who heard.
“Stars, already so wet for me. You taste like a dream.” His eyes pierced you from where he lay between your legs. “Keep your hands where they are and hold yourself open for me.”
You mewled in response as he returned to his task with his fingers now aiding in the effort, finding your clit with ease as his tongue entered you once again. His free hand slides up to rest on your tummy, pressing down but not enough to keep you still. But just enough so you can feel him as your hips kept their frantic undulation going, your body demanding the release he promised.
“That’s it,” he groaned to himself more than to you. “Good girl, taking what you need.”
Picking up the pace, Rex kept his fingers moving in tighter and tighter circles, keeping pace with your frenzied keening as he fucked you with his tongue.
“Kriff, Rex … so close … so … S-shit shit shit shit-”
He pushed down harder on your pelvis, amplifying every spark he ignited at your core as his fingers moved ever faster. “Let go, mesh’la. Let go and don’t you dare fucking hold back. Give it to me!”
Your captain gave an order. What else could you do but obey?
You shattered around him, your scream echoing against his satisfied groan as he drank from your cunt with a fierce intensity. His fingers and tongue never stopped as he forced your orgasm out of you, working you well past overstimulation into boneless compliance as you gave everything he demanded.
Eventually, the aftershocks faded. Rex’s ministrations eased, though he never took his hands off you, letting his fingers trail gently along your lips and restoking the fire in you that burned only for him.
“I love you, Rex,” you sighed, relief flooding you as the words finally escaped you after years locked away.
Rex smiled with only a tinge of sadness in his eyes speaking to lost time before he rest his head against the softness of your thigh, pressing a kiss to your skin.
“I love you, too, sweetheart.”
“Don’t leave me again?” You meant it as a command, but you had none of Rex’s natural authority. Well, that and your post-orgasmic state hindered what strength your voice could have had, leaving the order sounding more like a needy whine.
“Never.” Rex slid his hand back down, gathering your slick to sink two thick fingers deep into you. “Now, I believe I said something about you coming on my fingers next.”
Thankfully for you, Rex was a man of his word. He never left your side again. He kept the rest of his promises, too.

*Everything alright with the Chinless Wonder?*
Max finally sent the text off, physically unable to restrain himself for another minute. He watched as Riley typed and deleted several times before her text finally flashed up on his screen.
*You shouldn’t call him that.*
He rolled his eyes and fired back a text without a pause.
*And he shouldn’t pretend that his beard hides that concave jaw.*
In her townhouse, Riley stifled her laugh, burying her face in the couch cushion. Before she could respond, two more texts popped up on her screen.
*But seriously*
*He wasn’t too much of an ass, was he? I’ll fuck him up.*
Riley stilled, swallowing hard, glancing up the dark staircase toward her room, where her boyfriend, Jonah, was asleep in her bed, no doubt letting the stink of his beer soaked body leach into the sheets.
*Nothing I can’t handle*
Max didn’t like that answer. He knew what that answer meant. Pacing with his phone in his hand, he considered how to proceed.
A few hours ago, he had been over at her place with a few of her college friends, celebrating after she finally got the call that she’d gotten the lead part in a new show. Jonah was supposed to be there with her but didn’t so much as text before showing up two hours late and sloppy drunk. He had completely forgotten about the party and made his displeasure known when he showed up, angry that she had people over. He unceremoniously ended the party and it looked like they were in for a blow out fight when Max begrudgingly left.
*Is he asleep?*
He finally texted back, then watched the text bubble pop up and disappear a few times, rolling his eyes. That was a yes.
*Yeah, he is*
She knew it was dangerous to be honest with him but it had been a long night and she didn't have the energy to lie. Her phone pinged with an almost immediate response from Max and her stomach clenched.
*Come outside*
*What?*
She shot back instantly, eyes darting to the window down onto the street. It was too high to see out from the couch but she didn’t dare to move. If she moved, she may as well just give in now.
*Come outside*
He repeated himself and Riley swallowed hard, eyes crawling back up the stairs to her bedroom, consequences already milling in her mind. She typed a reluctant response, walking the line.
*You’re still in Manhattan?*
Oh he almost had her hooked. He was so hoping his hours spent wandering around the city, biding his time until his window opened, weren’t in vain.
*I couldn’t leave before I got to give you your present*
The smile that curled around her lips couldn’t be contained. She was allowed to smile about it, though. It was just the dangerous glow in her belly that she had to ignore.
*You got me a present?*
Max grinned down at his phone. Bingo.
*Of course I got you a present, dummy. So you gonna come out and get it or should I come inside?*
She hesitated. Despite her efforts, she wasn’t oblivious to the fact that Max had been not-so-subtly laying groundwork lately. It always got like this when he could tell that her relationships had run their course but this time had been a bit more heavy handed than usual. He was doing everything he could to undermine Jonah any time his back was turned, and their usual late night texting had been taking a distinct veer toward flirty. If Jonah had any awareness beyond his own ass, Max was certain he would have taken a swing at him for the audacity he had.
*I’ll be right out.*
She crept down the stairs to the bottom floor silently, ignoring the pull in her gut that told her this was something to feel guilty about. This was just going to see a friend; that’s all he had ever been, right? Just a friend with a lifetime of history.
When she pulled open the front door, she spotted him, sat in the dim porch light with a pristinely wrapped box in his lap. She couldn’t stop the overtired, surprised laugh that burst from her lips a little too loud, just suddenly struck by the long night it had already been, compared to the feeling that bubbled in her chest when she saw him actually sitting on the front step.
“Missed me that much, huh?” He lounged back, leaning against the iron bars of the hand railing.
“Oh desperately.” She let her fluttering laugh titter off, dropping down onto the step beside him, ignoring the way electricity skittered down her arm when it brushed his, and the fire raging in the spot where their thighs were pressed together. “I can’t believe you hung around this long to give me a present. We’re going out to breakfast tomorrow morning.” Max rubbed a hand over the back of his neck, his excuse feeling a little flimsy when she said it like that.
“Well, maybe I was a little worried about Sir Drinks-A-Lot upstairs.” He jerked his head in the direction of her bedroom window and her eyes followed the path up. The window was open but Jonah slept like the dead.
“You don’t have to worry about him, he’s harmless.” But the look Max gave her told her he wasn’t convinced. “The worst he ever does is yell at me until he passes out.” He held her gaze steadily, unfazed by her defense.
“As if that’s acceptable.” He muttered and she went to interject but he cut her off. “He showed up plastered, two hours late, for a party celebrating you at your house when you look like that,” his eyes meandered down her form, lighting matches all along the way, in spite of the bulky sweater that was obscuring the dress she wore to the party. “and he’s got the fucking nerve to yell at you? You have got to let me hit this guy some time.” But she just rolled her eyes.
“He had a tough day…” She could hear, as it came out of her mouth, the way it was ripe for the picking apart that Max was so good at. “And I was picking a fight.”
“Stop making excuses for him, Ry. He’s a piece of shit.” He knocked his knee against hers with a frizzle of heat and she ducked her head.
“You always think my boyfriends are pieces of shit.” She tried to laugh but it got caught in her throat.
“Yeah, and I’m always right.” His smug tone only lasted for a second before he shifted to face her more directly. “But especially this time.”
Riley quieted at that, listening to the sounds of a New York summer still bustling from a street or two away. It had been getting harder to defend Jonah lately, his drinking had noticeably increased and their fighting was increasing right along with it. His harmless teasing had turned a little more personal and the little willingness to compromise he had was dwindling.
“Dude is a straight up wasted like five nights a week.”
“He likes to have fun.” She was reaching. “It’s not like you and I don’t have our share of nights we barely remember.”
“Okay, first of all, I remember every night we’ve ever spent together and I’m a little offended that you don’t.” He teased just to watch the way her lips curled up, eyes crinkling in the corners. “Second of all, I don’t have a problem with people that drink. I have a problem with people that are assholes when they drink but still drink a lot. I’m fucking delightful when I drink so it’s not an issue.”
“Yeah?” She giggled, wetting her lip. “Tell that to Mrs.Johansson’s mailbox after you broke it, thinking you could vault over it while drunk last summer.”
“I have no memory of this.” He said with a cheeky grin and she rolled her eyes but her smile was already dominating her face, nose scrunching up.
“Well let the emergency room bill serve as a reminder.” She nudged his shoulder with hers and he scoffed, leaning back until his forearms rested on the top step. Riley followed suit, eyes up at the starless sky, the light of the city stifling the view.
“I really don’t get what you see in this guy.” He was stewing; he had been for a while but it had been getting harder to keep inside lately. She turned her head to look at him. “I mean, it’s been, what - like six months now?”
“Seven.” She corrected and he shook his head.
“So fucking forever.” Lamenting, he scrubbed a hand over his jaw. “You can’t tell me that guy fucks you well enough to make it worth it.” Riley gaped, smacking his shoulder.
“You know, I know this is probably hard for you to believe but not everybody decides who to date based solely on how good they are in bed.” She gave him an accusing stare, tongue pressed into her cheek.
“Man, so he is bad in bed then.” He winced, a hiss whistling between his teeth, shaking his head. Riley rolled her eyes but he didn’t miss the ghost of a smile behind it.
“That’s not what I said.”
“Well, I don’t hear you denying it, sweetheart.” His torso twisted in her direction. “You know, a lack of orgasms is bad for critical thinking skills…I would be happy to lend a hand.” A devilish smirk curled around his lips and heat crept up her neck into her cheeks. “Or a tongue.” His brow raised suggestively and she pretended she didn’t feel the ache between her thighs.
“Max…” She warned and he held his hands up in concession. The same old song and dance.
“Sorry, sorry. I’m just looking out for your health, Ry.” He tucked his arms back up on the steps and she shook her head.
“Don’t make me go back inside.” She threatened but Max couldn’t tell if she was teasing or not.
“Before you even open your present?” He nudged her with his knee and her eyes shot down to the present tucked between his legs. His chest warmed as the smile trickled back to her face, illuminated by the porch light behind her. She sat up straighter and held her hands out expectantly, fingers clenching in a grabby motion.
“Come on then! Let’s see it!”
“Jeez, the manners on you. What would your mother think?” He shook his head, taking his sweet time in pushing to sit up. Riley scoffed.
“Oh she’d probably think something like ‘God, I just can’t understand how the daughter I never spent more than two hours a week with wound up so disrespectful! If only her good-for-nothing father had stuck around, it’s probably his fault!’ and then she’d make a snide comment about my disappointing career path.” She rattled off, face trained into an eerily similar imitation of her mother’s patented disapproving sneer.
“Well, I mean, look at you. Julliard educated actress, working on some campy nerd show on the CW. Embarrassing. And mouthy to boot.” He grinned, leaning heavily into her shoulder until she knocked her head on his, lips scrunched in a restrained smile.
“God, did you talk to her before coming here? I swear she said that word for word when I told her about the new gig.” She sighed, letting her head settle on his shoulder.
“I was there yesterday,” he gestured to the package in his lap, “picking up something for your present.” Riley’s eyes lit up, nearly bouncing in her spot as she looked from him to the present and back. “Mmmhm.” He hummed, reluctantly picking it up and handing it over. It wasn't that he was worried she wouldn't like it - he was certain he had knocked it out of the park. He was just a little worried that he knocked it too far out of the park; so far out of the park that she was going to see just how snugly he was wrapped around her finger.
Riley slipped the ribbons that were tied around the gift over the edges and wiggled them off, out of her way. Tearing through the wrapping paper without an ounce of grace, she stopped short, warmth blossoming out of control in her chest. She opened her mouth to speak but couldn’t find the words.
Her eyes scanned over every inch of the framed display in her lap. Evenly set through the frame were a series clipped pieces of paper, unevenly faded, and she studied them each closely. Laid out in order was a newspaper article or photo from practically every role she had ever played, from her elementary school performance of Wendy (opposite his Peter Pan) to the announcement about her upcoming role on the CW. Heat pricked behind her eyes and she delicately traced her finger from piece to piece.
“Max, this is incredible. I don’t even know what to say.” She gushed, finally looking to him, eyes glistening even in the limited porch light, and warmth spread through his chest. She set the frame down just behind her before throwing her arms around him, pulling him into a tight hug. He swayed back into the railing with the force of it but quickly stabilized himself and snaked his arms around her waist, an electric warmth frizzling in his stomach. “Thank you so much. I can’t tell you how much this means to me.”
“I know, I know, don't get sappy on me.” He muttered into her hair but she shook her head, squeezing him tighter.
“It’s everything.” The words tickled his neck, his entire body prickling with heat. They lingered, wrapped in their tight embrace for a few beats too long. Max savored the familiar smell of her shampoo, eyes squeezing shut, and he couldn’t stop his hand from coming up to cradle the back of her head. His fingers burrowed into her hair and she shuttered a sigh before finally pulling back, ceding to the gnawing feeling in her gut. “This is…um…thank you. You didn’t have to do this.” She swallowed hard, trying not to wither under the heat of the look he was giving her. Shifting to give herself a little more space to breathe, she snapped him out of his daze. Shit, it felt cold with this much space between them.
“I’m really proud of you, Ry.” He said with a sincerity that knocked the wind out of her chest. “You deserved something special to mark the occasion. And I wanted to." He said with a finality that brought her back to the moment, but then his face cracked with a sly smile and he leaned in conspiratorially. "Well, that's not true. I wanted to make you cum on my tongue so many times in a row that you'd forget your boyfriend's name..." He made a show of wetting his lips, satisfied at the way her breathing faltered and her eyes drifted down to them. Her lips formed the shape of his name without a sound, in an extremely poor excuse for an objection, a knot in her stomach constricting. She ignored the nagging thought that, after the night she'd had, that sounded like a crazy enticing offer. "...but I think maybe I'll save that for another occasion." Leaning back against the railing and out of her space, he allowed her breath to come slamming back into her chest. She blinked a few times before shaking it off with a breathy laugh.
"You're the devil." She pointed an accusing finger at him but he only gave a toothy grin.
"Feel like dancin'?" He tilted his head, daring her to indulge but she rolled her eyes, shoving his shoulder.
"You wish." But she was hardly fooling anyone. His effect on her was palpable now and it was only a matter of time before she reached a breaking point. Unfortunately, she was starting to suspect that Max knew better than she did what that point was and could choose to snap it whenever he felt like it.
He only chuckled, relaxing back on the railing, watching her with a quiet smile. She shifted, angling back against the opposite railing, and her knees knocked against his, now right in front of her. Her head fell back against the railing and she let out a quiet sigh, eyes fluttering shut for a few moments.
"Don't let him treat you the way he did tonight, Ry." Max said as if he could see the evening playing out in her head. Her eyes connected with his in the hush of the street, their knees threateningly close and ready to set a spark in motion at a moments notice. She opened her mouth to respond but ultimately just closed it, nodding. There weren't enough excuses in the world to make up for the way he treated her after everyone left, and she was struggling to will herself to crawl into bed next to him after this. "I'm serious, sweetheart, next time he starts running his mouth like that, I'm not going to hold back on him." Riley's teeth raked over her lip and she hesitated before waving him off.
"I've got it under control, Max. He's just been in a rough spot since he lost his job." She had an arsenal of excuses prepared at any time. They were already running on a loop in her brain lately as a constant reminder.
"Riley, his job was handing out flyers in a poorly tailored business suit in Times Square." He raised a brow, crossing his arms over his chest, and she tried hard not to focus on the way his biceps bulged.
"That!" She started hot but quickly lost steam. "...was a volunteer position..." Max snickered and she tried to rebound. "That wasn't his job. He was a data analyst at -"
"Yeah, I know, he's a failed investment banker. Big whoop, so are half the guys we graduated high school with." He cut her off, circling a finger in the air in a mock celebration. "He's got zero valuable life skills; he's never had an original thought in his life; he's a waste of oxygen." Max ticked the points off on his fingers. Riley blew out a breath; he was laying it on thick tonight. Earned after Jonah's meltdown but still not entirely fair.
"Max, c'mon. He's a good guy. He -"
"No, he's not. He's a nasty son of a bitch and he is leagues below you." He bulldozed the lie she was about to tell through her teeth and she huffed.
"Right, I should probably be looking for a nasty son of a bitch who is in my league, then, huh?" She pressed, irritation starting to sting through in her voice, sitting up straight and he mirrored her, jaw grinding. "I suppose that's probably just you, though, right?" Her tongue pressed into her cheek and Max rolled his eyes.
"You said it, not me." He shrugged, savoring in the way he was getting under her skin, before waving her off. "But that's not even the point. Its been seven months now and there’s no way you can tell me you're in love with this guy." Her brows narrowed, jaw ticking, the pit in her stomach rolling.
"I-"
"Aht!" He cut her off. "Do not lie to me, Riley Masterson. I know you too well." She took a measured breath, lips pursed.
"You're overstepping." She warned but he rolled his eyes with a scoff.
"No, I'm serious. Look me in the eyes right now and tell me that you are in love with that loser." He held her gaze steadily from across the stairs, leaning forward with his arms on his knees. Riley huffed, then opened her mouth and closed it, glaring at him. She drew in another, more determined breath and gave a pleasant smile.
"I love him. Its...we're in love." She shrugged and Max's booming laugh echoed down the empty street. Shooting daggers at him, she smacked his knee and he sat upright.
"Come on, babe, your shows gonna end up cancelled before they even film the pilot if that's the best acting you can do."
"Knock it off."
"No. Not until you can come up with a single reason you're still giving this guy the time of day." He persisted, unable to stop himself. “You know all the goodwill you earned by letting your mom set you up with her friend’s kid evaporated the second she got to know him.”
"Max, back off." She practically growled, nails digging into her thigh for a sense of control. The complete truth was that she was ready to break up with Jonah weeks ago. She had practiced the 'let him down easy' speech and braced herself for the meltdown that would be imminent, but then he came home and told her he'd been fired. Her break up speech died on her tongue, the idea of giving it to someone that was already crying made her slightly nauseous.
So it was one more chance. Followed by another. And another. But she couldn't let Max know that. All he needed was a pin-sized opening to tear a hole clean through anything he wanted.
"Aren't you getting tired of the way this asshole treats you?" He was crossing into badgering territory, which was a line he had flirted with quite a bit over the years, but even he could admit this was getting beyond him.
"That's enough." She got to her feet in an instant but Max was up just as quickly and they felt substantially closer when they were standing side by side on the stairs. It nearly knocked her off balance, the smell of him flooding her senses. He noticed the mild sway and capitalized, fingers curling around her waist to steady her and she couldn't stop the way she leaned into the warmth of his touch. "Max..." Even though she meant for it to come out like a protest, it sounded far closer to a plea.
"Aren't you getting tired of faking your orgasms?" The vulgar rasp of his whisper sent a shiver down her spine. His finger trailed up the curve of her waist, his eyes locked on hers, and the breath stopped in her chest. Guilt tugged heavy in her gut but she couldn't seem to force her feet to move. "Just say the word, Ry..." Red hot lava was pouring through her veins, turning to a molten pile of ash before it could even reach the bottom of her. "I could have you shaking and begging to cum in less than five minutes."
"Max, please, I can't..." Her fists clenched by her side, nailing digging into skin as she held her composure. She was pleading now. Pleading because they both knew she wasn't strong enough to resist him if he really tried. This was his lazy attempt and she wasn't deluded about it.
“Trust me, Riley,” he brushed a piece of hair behind her ear before letting his hand fall back to his side, “I have no intention of doing anything that you don’t beg me for.” He took a step back and she took a breath so deep it made her head spin. Slowly retreating to the railing opposite her, he still felt like a predator stalking his prey. She was white knuckling the railing, as if it was the only thing holding her self restraint together, her breathing still filtering in through unsteady gasps. He had the upper hand and he knew it; that was a dangerous thing. "I should probably head back." His eyes fell to hers, watching as they widened in a panic as she tried to decide if she wanted him to leave or not. "Got a long ride back. Then I gotta turn around six hours later for breakfast." And her response was out of her mouth before her brain could stop it.
"You can crash in the guest room if you want." Her offer felt completely transparent, even though her head was still a blur of thoughts she couldn't parse. Max chuckled, glancing up to her bedroom window.
"You sure J Money won't mind?" He gave her a cheeky grin and she wet her lips before shaking her head.
"No, he'll be in full repent mode tomorrow." She let out a bitter laugh and ducked down to grab her gift off the porch. "And I am always right when he's in repent mode."
"Boy, your relationship sounds like a blast." He used that sickly sarcasm that made her skin crawl, his arm roping around her shoulders, steering her towards the door in an implicit acceptance of her offer. She rolled her eyes, pulling her sweater tighter around her. At least she could breathe now. He was laughing now and being insufferable as always, which meant she was safe.
"Shut up. I will make you sleep on the porch again." She shouldered against his side from under his arm as he lead them toward the door. He made a loud 'ough' noise, pretending she had blown a catastrophic hit to his ribs.
"You'd leave me to the cold after injuring me so brutally?" He let himself hang on her shoulders slightly and she breathed a laugh, shaking her head.
"You'd deserve it."
She opened the front door and they noiselessly padded across the hard wood floors, up the sets of stairs to the level the guest room was on. They lingered for a brief moment before she saluted him and fled up the stairs without so much as a ‘good night’, to the safety of her own room. Even if occupied by a body that still, hours later, reeked of pretentious overpriced beer.
But she should have known she wasn't really safe. She retreated to her bathroom and washed the weight of the day off her face and brush her teeth before heading to bed. Rubbing a hand over Jonah’s back, sticky with dried sweat, she climbed beneath the covers. He groaned, swatting in her direction and she sighed, rolling to face away from him. Her mind raced, thoughts of Max swirling in circles around the nagging feeling that her relationship had long outrun its course. Guilt wrenched in her stomach; Max wasn’t supposed to factor into this equation. But that pit in her stomach reminded her that Max factored into her decision to jump into the relationship in the first place.
Then, because he always seemed to know exactly when to twist the knife, Riley saw her phone screen flash with a text. Her eyes scaled back to Jonah, as if she could see him from her position, then back to the alluring glow of her screen. Hesitating, her heart raced, fingers buzzing faster and faster until she snapped and snatched the phone off her bedside table, spotting the preview of his text.
*I think you left bruises with that monster shove*
She gawked, though, as her phone unlocked and revealed that the message from Max had included a nearly indecent photo of him taken in her guest bathroom. Curling over to cover her phone from the unlikely chance that Jonah woke up and peered all the way around her. And once the shock took over, she froze, eyes locked on a spot across the room for a few frenzied heartbeats. But she couldn’t stop her eyes from drifting back down to her phone, or her fingers from tapping the picture to pull it up to full screen.
Her teeth sank down into her lower lip as she studied the lines of his body that she knew so well. His sweats were hanging dangerously low on his hips, giving her a tantalizing glimpse at the veins that trailed down below the sliver of boxers that was peaking out. But Riley’s eyes were really drawn to the part she hadn’t seen until the picture was full screen - the well defined outline of his clearly hard cock pressing into the soft material of his sweats.
She swallowed hard, thighs pressed together as heat crept up her neck. Her finger hovered near the screen, willing herself to minimize the picture.  Finally, shaking her head, she swiped it away and typed a quick response.
*I don’t see any bruises...*
It didn’t take more than thirty seconds for a message to ping back to her.
*Weird, must have just been the lighting 😏*
Her response was out before she could think about it.
*You’re such a tease*
But she should have thought about, because if she had, she would have known that was just setting him up. Her screen flashed with the response, then another closely on its heels.
*I don’t have to be...*
*Come downstairs*
Riley squirmed in bed, the pit of guilt in her stomach warring with the warmth that pooled below it and the electric excitement creeping up her neck. Her teeth dug hard enough into her lip to draw blood.
*Come on, Max. You’ve gotta stop. I have a boyfriend.*
His response didn’t take long.
*Yeah, and you’re not in love with him.*
She nervously dabbed her tongue over the sore spot on her lip, chest heaving, eyes darting back to Jonah’s sleeping figure. Her thoughts felt loud enough that they could penetrate his dreams.
*Thats not fair…*
But she couldn’t even type it. He was right and they both knew it.
*Whats not fair is you forcing yourself to be with this dumbfuck instead of coming down here to bounce on my cock.*
The noise she made was involuntary and it made Jonah stir. She stashed her phone beneath the blanket, suffocating the light. Shit, she knew that if she needed to hide like this, she must have been crossing a line. But, fuck, did it feel a little good; the ache between her legs was a testament. Once she was confident Jonah had stopped moving, she retrieved her phone from the blankets to see Max had sent another picture.
She wished she could have claimed she didn’t jump to open the picture. She wished she could claim she had hesitated, even for a moment; that she hadn’t practically clambered to see what new delicious tease he had sent. But oh, she was weak. And only felt weaker when the picture plastered across her screen and she got a good look. In it, Max was laid out in her guest bed with his shirt off, his sweats pulled so low that she could swear she could see the start of his cock. But even if she couldn’t, it would be hard to miss his raging hard on pressed through the sweats, his hand wrapped around it, giving her an exceptionally clear outline. The caption beneath it simply read “Break up with him”.
Riley swallowed hard, thighs pressed together, rubbing her legs like a cricket to disperse the near throb in her core. She knew better now than to comment on the picture at all so decided to stick to the safer route of addressing the caption.
*He’s asleep, I can’t just break up with him now*
But that response only had Max grinning to himself, almost better than her first response to his picture. He knew, at almost two in the morning, she wasn't going to break up with him right this minute. But boy did it seem like she took her time thinking it over before she responded.
*Alright, then don’t. I won’t tell...*
She was caught off guard by how tempting that was. Her heart raced as her mind played through the likelihood of her being able to sneak down into Max’s bed, have the best sex of her life, then sneak back into her own bed without being caught. The odds felt exceptionally high. Her stomach twisted on itself, wishing the thought hadn't crossed her mind, and she swallowed hard before shaking her head.
*Good night, Max.*
She set her phone back on the dresser with a finality, fighting but losing against the desire to check it when it lit up with his reply.
*Good night, Ry. Sweet dreams*

Thundertober Day 2: Espionage
Kayo goes on a mission with Lady P to retrieve something that was stolen from International Rescue...
Continuity: TAG
------
The hallway crawled with guards as Kayo dodged expertly around boxes and complex machinery, keeping to the shadows as she always did. She hoped she could get there before the sale was made to the highest bidder. Penelope was buying her as much time as she could up there, she just hoped it was enough.
While she ran, she thought vaguely about how they had ended up in the first place. Long story short, it had been a long week, with non-stop and difficult rescues back to back. And a long week meant that even John, who was usually quite quick with security leaks and was sharper than a knife, didn’t see the virus slowly but surely attacking their networks until it was too late. Soon enough, EOS was almost taken out and their communications and trackers went offline.
Brains and John had never resolved a security hazard faster in their lives, even giving EOS more resources to protect herself and IR’s information so that such a savage malware attack could never happen again. When they finally got their systems back online, after several long and agonising hours, Alan wasn’t answering anyone’s calls.
Scott had been beside himself, Virgil and Gordon both wanted to bash in the heads of the responsible parties, and John still couldn’t let go of his guilt, despite the other’s best efforts. That was where Kayo came in. With her brothers still reeling from Alan’s disappearance, she’d taken the initiative and called in Lady Penelope for help. She was probably going to get an earful from Scott later for adding to the worry, but right now, she didn’t care. All she cared about was getting her little brother back…
Soon, she came to the end of the corridor, eyeing the two burly men with guns guarding a large metallic door. Bingo. The guards didn’t even know what hit them before she knocked them flat on their faces. Once she was sure they both out cold for hours to come, she swung the door open, furious expression turning to relief when her suspicions turned out to be correct.
Kayo saw Alan squint against the light that filtered through the doorway, in all likelihood framing her as his saviour. “K-Kayo…?” He croaked out shakily, as if not believing what he was seeing was real.
She raced towards him, scooping him up into her arms and carrying him out the dark, dingy room without a word. Her heart broke into a million pieces when he clung onto her for dear life. “It’s me, Alan… And I’m not letting go for a long time…”
------
“And so, Mr Grafton, that is why I believe-” Her long tirade finally ended when her opponent interrupted her, sighing.
“Beg your pardon, Your Ladyship, but I do have another meeting waiting after you.” The crook sighed. “Perhaps we could finish this another time…”
Penelope frowned. “But Mr Grafton, I am simply explaining my concerns about this new monorail project of yours. If I can perhaps get a dear friend of mine to assist with the designs-”
“No! Absolutely not!” Grafton froze like a deer in headlights. Penelope hid her delight behind a well-trained pokerface. Got him. “I mean…” He quickly backtracked. “I have some of the best engineers in the country working on this thing. I assure you, it’s perfectly safe.”
The noblewoman glanced down at her compact, carefully watching as the light on the top flashed twice. Kayo had Alan, and had already left for home in Thunderbird Shadow. It was high time she did the same. She sighed in mock defeat. “Very well then.” She stood up, saving Grafton’s feet from an increasingly irritable Sherbert. “I suppose I had better get going.” She smiled at Grafton, deceptively sweet and cordial. “I do hope you can get the money you require for this project, Mr Grafton.”
“I have several…” he paused, “...assets I can offer my investors, Lady Penelope.”
Penelope smiled. “Oh I’m sure you do, Mr Grafton. I’m sure you do…” She left the room as quickly as she could without raising suspicion, glancing at Parker as she did. That one look between them confirmed all that Parker wanted to know. He didn’t have his so-called ‘assets’ anymore.
------
“Where the hell have you been, Kayo?!” The familiar voice practically screamed into her comms the second she came back online, as predicted. What she incorrectly guessed, however, was just who was doing the screaming. “Do you have any idea how worried we’ve all been? First Alan goes missing, and then you leave without telling anyone where you’re going?! You are in so much trouble when you get back.”
Kayo waited patiently for her brother to end his rant, and quickly cut in before he could say anything else. “Sorry Gordon, I had to maintain radio silence for this mission. This guy had already taken out our security. I just couldn’t risk him having some kind of backdoor and hearing all about it…”
Gordon, for perhaps the first time in his life, appeared to be speechless. “You mean…?”
“Yep.” Kayo confirmed. “I’ve got him, all thanks to Penelope. He’s asleep right now in the back seat of Shadow. Better get Virgil to set up an IV. Looks like those monsters didn’t give him any sort of nourishment.”
“I’m on it!” Gordon nodded on the hologram, and went to turn off the comm. Right before he did however, he said something that made her feel so much better. “I’m glad you did what you did. Both of you.” He grinned. “You guys are like his guardian angels.”
Kayo chuckled. “Thanks, Gordon. I’ll see you guys soon.”

Wondrous tails: Dragon AU
Tumblr media
Aymeric was out on patrol in the Hinterlands. The sudden blizzard had slowed the recent dragon attacks on the keep but they had to be vigilant. No matter how many times he ventured out into the Hinterlands, the moment a snow storm rolled in, it was like a foreign world. Aymeric did his best to stay his course.
He saw something in the distance. A bright flash of orange, its shadowy figure loomed menacingly in the distance. Aymeric readied his bow and carefully approached it. If it was a dragon, he would have little chance on his own.  Aymeric stopped as he caught a proper glimpse of the creature. It was a dragon but a type he had never seen.  It was larger than any dragon he had ever seen but not to the scale of the great wyrms. Its scales were at first glance glossy black but as it moved in the light they seemed to shimmer red and orange like fire. The dragon had only one ebony horn on its left side, curling upwards with noticeable chunks missing from it; on the right side the horn had been snapped off but most notably, the dragon was severely wounded and looked tired. He lowered his bow and moved a little closer. This drew the dragon’s attention, it turned to him with crystal white eyes and bore its teeth.
“Stop! I don’t mean you any harm-”
“You stink of dragon blood..” it stated, it’s cold eyes not blinking and watched him carefully. Aymeric looked down at his bow, he couldn’t very well deny that. “No sport in killing a wounded creature?” it asked with a snort of fire, in an attempt to frighten him.
“I was- patrolling and- I have never seen a dragon like you-” he started, placing the bow on his back, to show he meant no harm “Are you of Nidhogg’s brood or-”
The dragon snorted in offence, “I am not of the broods of this star.”
“I see- then where did you come from?” Aymeric was curious, it wasn’t every day you got to converse with a dragon and it did not seem like it was going to eat him: it would have done so already.
The dragon looked up at the sky forlornly “From a star that no longer exists.”
“I’m sorry-”
The dragon slumped forward into the snow. Aymeric ran to its side “are you alright-” the dragon glanced up tiredly.
“I have flown for many years- I followed the sounds of the dragonkin of this star.. I am weary.”
Aymeric reached to touch the dragon’s head but it glanced at him coldly.  “I will be right back.” Aymeric grabbed his bow and disappeared into the snow, thankfully the hinterlands had sheep. Aymeric caught a few and dragged them back to the dragon.  It opened one eye sleepily “I thought you might be hungry.” The dragon moved and devoured the sheep before laying back down.  A sudden sharp gust of wind almost took Aymeric clean off his feet and the snow began to fall heavier.
The dragon lifted its wing. “Tis all I can offer in exchange for the food.”
Aymeric gladly accepted the shelter from the storm “Thank you…I never asked your name.”
“My heartless creator never gave me such a thing-”  the dragon paused “but I saw a girl with orange hair and horns..she bestowed upon me a name Aura… she- I feel as though she is what I would be if I were mortal.. Perhaps she wasn’t even there at all.”
“How very strange indeed.” Aymeric replied “Then Aura..thank you for your help in shelter from the snow. My name is Aymeric.”
“Do humans always chatter so readily?” Aura asked,
“Perhaps but-” Aymeric cleared his throat “It isn’t everyday I get to converse with a dragon. I must say I have many questions.” Aura snorted a type of laugh “It seems we shall be here a while, ask away.”

More of a parallel than au. Makes more sense if you read my silly thing about Mizuki not being Azem.
Long story short: Mizuki isn't Azem but one of his failed creations. Azem is her brother Itzal.
DragonMizuki in this au, has escaped Pandaemonium and flown to Etheirys.
ft a younger Aymeric.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You've never been a party gal.
You hate it when it's hot and smothering in a small space.
You absolutely loathe it when there are loud music and drunken ... people involved. Seeing the drunken frat boys and sorority girls tangled up all together, kissing but looking as if they are about to suck each other's face off... just, eww.
College parties are definitely not for you.
Bucky, on the other hand, is a different human being. Bucky is enjoying the best time of his life, joining the fraternity with a bunch of stupid Greek letters on a T-shirt, partying all night and drinking till he can't tell which room is his own bedroom. That's his jam.
The last time you saw him at this party, roughly fifteen minutes ago, he was holding two sorority girls on his laps, making out with both of them, and to you, this looks like the start of a threesome. So you slipped from one room to another, trying to find Steve.
You came here with Steve. Being (almost) lifelong friend of both Steve and Bucky, you met them when you were four years old.
You don't remember any of that, but your mother told you one of the kids in this neighborhood shoved you to the curb into the traffic. And if it weren't Steve and Bucky who bravely - they are also four, by the way, ran in front of a freight car while the other pulled you to the sidewalk. You would not be still alive at this moment.
Kitchen - living room - hallway - accidentally walking into the library but the frat boys in there are burning book pages to smoke pot - one turn, then another, and you are back where you started, the kitchen.
Christ.
Only two punches and now you're unable to tell if you have entered the door to the left, or if it's the "library" you just passed. You really should have listened to Steve, who heard from his roommate that college parties always have their punch spiked.
Speaking of Steve, you really wished you could be by his side for this party but your friends dragged you away as soon as you showed up, talking about a giant slide at the back of the frat house, connecting the roof to the ground.
It's a miracle that the frat brothers still have their head and their spine intact.
This reminds you that Steve could be at the back of the house - hopefully he wouldn't be catching some sorority's eyes and got pinned to a wall and making out. Not that you wouldn't want him to get a girlfriend. No. You wish the best for him.
Absolutely the best. Which means those dumb girls with only "ten tips of making you lose more weight" in their head are no good for him.
You walk around the house to reach the backyard, where Steve sits on a bench all by himself, the phone in his hand, pending on a messaging interface.
"Hey, ready to go?" You sit down, swinging an arm around his shoulders.
Okay, so maybe you are a little dizzy due to the weird fruit punch. And your arm is a bit too tight around Steve's skinny shoulders. So tight that he leans towards you, nearly banging his head on your shoulders.
He quickly swipes the messaging app away and tucks the phone in his pocket, patting his hand on your back, hesitant and soft, "Yeah, I've been ... I'm thinking the same. Got a lecture tomorrow at 8:30."
You hum in agreement, quickly letting go of his shoulder and raising a big smile, "C'mon."
"And Buck?" Steve shrugs on his large jacket when he gets up from the bench, "should we tell him we're going?"
"Pfft." You tug on the corner of his sleeve, urging him to go, "He's a big boy. He'll be fine."
The image of Bucky tongue-kissing two girls at the same time makes you shiver. Even if you adore Bucky - you adore Bucky and Steve both, it's cringe, watching your friend making out with someone else.
And you rather not know about Bucky's (what he claimed to be - healthy) relationships, although you enjoy gossips as everybody else.
You are on your way back to your dorms. You love it that the three of you don't live far away from one another. A drop by, a visit is so simple when Steve basically lives the building right next to your place, and the frat house Bucky's living is a 10-minute walk away.
Escaping the crowd, you and Steve walk back to your places. Dim, orange streetlamps barely covers the sidewalk as you and Steve head home. Where you and Steve embrace this little peace and quiet that's hard to come by.
"So... uh... I've been texting you just now." Steve starts, awkwardly, clenching his phone in his pocket.
"Texting?" You almost forget about your phone, but surely it's in your back pocket - "Oh shit." You murmur, when your hand reminds you that your back pocket is empty, "Oh shit, my phone!" Your eyes widen in panic, while Steve takes a few more seconds to understand your trouble.
"Did you lost it? Did you bring it there? Did you-"
He looks more anxious than you are.
"I did. I checked my emails before I went inside. I put it..." your voice trails away as you try to remember, "Fuck, I think it's in my jacket. I left it in the cloak room because the house is too warm."
It is five meters away from his place, and you sigh, "Shit. Guess I have to go back and get my jacket. Look, just get inside. I'll text you when I get my phone back, okay?"
"But-"
You didn't wait for his reply before you start to run to the frat house. You hope it isn't too late for your jacket and your phone. You heard there might be pick-pocketing in some of the parties.
After what feels like forever - which is five minutes, you are relieved to find your jacket, your keys, your phone, and everything in your pocket is still intact, right where you left them in the cloak room.
You briefly say goodbye to Bucky on your way out when he's yelling for either Cherry or Cheryl at the door, though his brain is completely toasted by alcohol, and fails to match your face with his memory. You doubt he will even remember this encounter in the morning.
"Idiot." You mutter under your breath, after Bucky shoves past you, now sing-songing that girl's name, clearly way too drunk to remember anything more than the syllable "Cher".
See, that's why you hate people drinking.
As you shrug on your jacket for the chilly night, and pulls out your phone to check your messages again, you almost stumble upon someone standing right in front of you.
"Steve?" Your raise your head from your phone. You have yet to read his messages, finger hovering above the messaging app, but you are too surprised to open them anyways, "What are you doing here? I thought I told you to go back to your dorm?"
It's sweet for him to wanting to accompany you back here, and walk you home again. It really is. And you are glad to see him, even if it means you have to carry an EpiPen and an inhaler all day for him, just in case his ran out.
Steve looks pale. He is pale since he's a kid. His body can't carry enough iron so he has to take supplements to prevent him from worse affects of anemia. He purses his lips into a line, staring at you for a moment, looking sad, "It's Bucky, isn't it?"
"What's about Bucky?" Shoving the phone away, you eye him suspiciously, "Did you eat the mushrooms those sorority girls offer you and start to have visions?"
He gestures to your phone, "It's Bucky. And you don't want to..."
He didn't finish his sentence. Looking at you as if there's something way bigger than this strange conversation he is starting.
"Never mind." He murmurs, kicking a small pebble under his shoes into the grass.
"No?" You elbow his arm, "You're being weird. Spill."
"It's just..." Steve looks frustrated, "you haven't looked right since you saw him kissing. And I can't offer you any ... anything because ... And you saw my message, but don't want to answer directly without..."
"What on earth are you talking about?" You furrow your brows into a knot, "What does Bucky has to do with... whatever you're talking about? With me? And what's the message? And why are you acting strange?"
"You like Bucky!" He blurts out.
You are completely awe-struck. "WHAT?"
"You got upset when he kissed those girls! And then you came to find me asking to go home. And now you want to tell him that you love him -"
"Hold on for a second -" You growl.
"But he's drunk! I know you hate others getting drunk and you still said your goodbyes! Calling him an idiot behind his back just now because he's yelling for those dumb blondes instead of-"
Your blood has just gone cold.
He can't possibly think that you are into that sweet dumb brunet? Bucky has never been the center of your attention. And you only came to this party because Bucky said he invited -
"You're being ridiculous." You huff, barely containing your anger and disappointment as you choose to head home instead of listening to his nonsense.
"I know it's wrong of me to just send you a text and tell you how I feel about you-"
This definitely put a halt to your steps.
"-and I like you and you know Buck. You know who he is and I don't want you getting hurt-" Steve says miserably, almost at a last resort, salvaging what he clearly has ruined. A perfect friendship.
Sure, he likes you. What's not to be liked? Your humor? Your sass? Even you getting mad is cute for him. He couldn't help but say how much he likes you via words, because he's too nervous to say so in person. He should've kept it to himself, even if this means that he would be heart broken watching you smiling and laughing and treat ing him as a friend.
You turn around and take a few steps to him, making him gulp nervously, but still saying out loud, "He's a heart-breaker. We know that. You know that. I love you and I-"
Before you shut his mouth with a kiss.
And bite his plump lower lip.
"Ouch!" He covers his lips with his hand, feeling the swell where you bit him.
"You are a big fucking idiot, Steven Grant Rogers." You retort. The spiked fruit punch encourages you to swing your arms around his neck, as his body remains frozen, "There, happy? Calling you an idiot right to your face?"
"What-"
"Or do you need me to kiss you again to realize that I, in fact, love you back?"

Just One Night
Tumblr media
(I was supposed to do a whole bingo card and ended up melting into a useless puddle but I got about halfway through this and I needed to finish it and tbh I'll probably finish the whole card slowly but surely)
May the odds be ever in your favor, Tomorrow The 74th Annual Hunger Games begin, and tomorrow the mentors are all heading out to watch as their tributes are chosen. But tonight is for partying, and when Eulalia Golding is given the key card for her assignment for the night- she finds herself in the room of someone most unexpected
18+ below the cut. Below here there be smut
"Alright, who is here that I should keep an eye out for?" Eulalia tucked her lip gloss into the little bag hanging from her wrist, her eyes scanning the crowd, looking for anyone who would be considered important and worth her time.
"Several game makers are here, it'd be good to have them on our side for the next games," Thane answered, his golden brown hair was perfectly coiffed, and his deep purple tux was flawless. He was the perfect temporary arm candy, there and handsome until he was no longer needed.
"Okay." Eulalia nodded. She was getting a new set of tributes this year. Unfortunately, she'd yet to train a champion to take her place. Part of her felt bad about that. Part of her was sure she was saving them from an even worse fate.
"There are also a large number of Victors here tonight," Thane commented. "The quarter quell is coming next year. No one knows what to expect. I think a lot of Victors want to stay close, they want to listen for any clues."
"Good luck to them. I've done everything in my power to get the game makers to spill and those lips are locked tighter than Snows a-"
"President Snow." Thane interrupted her, giving the man in question a wide grin. He reached out and shook the man's hand. He was old but his grip was strong. Eulalia offered him her hand and he kissed the back. Thane's stomach turned at the gesture.
"Miss Golding, lovely to see you here. When I asked Mr. Hawksley if you'd be attending, he was- unsure." Snow narrowed his eyes at the two.
"That was my uncertainty." Eulalia shook her head. "I wasn't feeling well, But it cleared up before it was time to go."
"Lucky us." Snow looked her up and down slowly. "Well, enjoy the party." He drawled, then walked past her.
"You told him you weren't sure?" Eulalia asked. She'd had the dress for this party picked out for weeks. It was a rather elaborate dress, with a sweeping pearl-colored silk skirt. the top was more structured, as it was made up of golden flowers and branches, leaving more of her skin revealed than not. One wrong move, it seemed, and she'd be exposed to the whole room. But thanks to a lot of tape, there was no chance of that happening.
"I had a feeling." He shrugged. "That if I didn't admit that you'd be there then perhaps he wouldn't have enough time to set up an appointment for you after the party. Perhaps, just perhaps, you could get home at a decent hour. We have work to do tomorrow." Thane reminded her, the two of them making their way to the refreshments.
Eulalia eyed the table hungrily, she hadn't eaten much that day- she couldn't risk the bloating, not in a dress like this. And that held true, in addition to the fact that if Snow did find her a client for the night, she just found it was easier to handle on an empty stomach.
"Are you hungry?" Thane asked, though he very much knew her reasoning for not eating. "I'm sure we can find you something that won't... sit heavy." Eulalia watched as a woman with purple hair, coiffed to look like a swan, loaded up a plate with food. She was talking with her companion, a man with painted orange skin, about the pills that made her sick, so she could make room for more food.
"Tomorrow I deserve a lavish breakfast." Eulalia decided, lifting her chin up. "Tonight I will be fine."
"You almost sounded believable, princess." A third voice joined the conversation. A man slipped by them, close enough that the satin of his black shirt brushed her fingertips.
Adler Cresswell. He was the mentor for District Eight, he had been for nearly Eulalia's entire life. His golden blonde curls were cropped fairly close to his head at the moment. He was always at his cleanest right before the games started. When he got a look at who he'd be sending to the slaughter, he often gave up on himself until a few weeks after the games ended.
Eulalia watched him as he grabbed a plate and started to load it up. He wore a satin shirt, tucked into his matching black pants. The sleeves of the shirt were rolled up to his elbows, revealing forearms corded with muscle, and his hands, the fingers long and thin.
"See something you like?" He asked, teasing. She jerked out of her daydream and flushed, shaking her head.
"Of course not." she stammered.
"Of course not." He repeated. He put a pile of various foods on his plate and walked back over, he plucked a berry from the plate and held it up. "Try it." He encouraged. She started to reach up but he shook his head. Eulalia's heart pounded as she opened her mouth and he placed the berry on her tongue. She closed her lips, just barely avoiding the tips of his fingers.
The berry was perfectly ripe, sweet, and juicy, it burst on her tongue and she couldn't stop herself from closing her eyes and releasing a soft moan.
"That's a good girl." Adler grinned. "Eat something, Golding, you're skin and bones." He commented, eyeing her up and down, much like Snow did, but somehow, when Adler did it, it didn't feel as icky. It felt like he was interested in her- not in what she could do for him. He slipped past them and Eulalia swallowed hard.
"Lalia?" Thane bumped her gently with his hip. "Everything okay?"
"Yes, of course, everything is fine." Eulalia smiled at him and went to the table, picking up a plate. Thane quirked an eyebrow, turning his head to watch as the District 8 Mentor walked out to the balcony, it was a chilly night, and he was going out there to be left alone.
"I never realized how amazing the food was at these parties," Eulalia muttered around a mouthful of fruit. She couldn't talk herself into the true indulgences, but the fruit was all perfectly ripe and sweet and amazing. She picked up a berry from her plate and held it out to Thane, he leaned in and bit into it, leaving the leafy green bit in her hands. She smiled at him and dropped the discard on the plate. When the two of them had made it through the small pile of fruit, He started to lead her out to the dance floor, only to be interrupted by Snow.
"Miss Golding, it seems your presence has been requested." Eulalia's shoulders tensed up. Thane's hand was on her back and he felt every muscle in her back tighten.
"Is that so?" She asked, her voice as tight as her muscles.
"It is. A surprising... candidate to say the least." Snow handed over a card to her and she handed it to Thane, who slipped it into his jacket pocket. Snow's eyes narrowed at the pair. "You know, Miss Golding, you are an adult now, you no longer need a... handler."
"He's less a handler and more a friend at this point." Eulalia ducked her head down and let Thane lead her to the dance floor, but they didn't stop there, they kept walking through the floor and out the doors.
Snow didn't always work face-to-face with victors when he used them, sold them. He saved that for the ones who made him the most money. A lot of Victors from District One and a few scattered through other districts. Fennick, for example, was one of his 'Special projects' But he got the luxury of getting away from it in his own district sometimes.
Eulalia found that going back to District One was just as awful as staying in the Capitol.
"I can't cry." She commented, tilting her head back. "I can't, I haven't in years so why-" Because she had been so sure it wouldn't happen this time, because of the way Snow had talked earlier- most of the men picked their toys in the days before the party so they could dress them up, or attach them to their arm for the night as if they weren't forced to be there. She'd spent all night with Thane, she'd been allowed to wear the dress she'd been so excited for. Now it was going to lay crumpled on some man's floor.
"You can. Makeup can be fixed, Lalia." Thane reminded her.
"What room is it?" Eulalia asked. Thane dug in his pocket for the card.
"808." He answered.
"Let's go, perhaps we can scope out the room before he gets there." She turned on her heel, steeling her resolve, and stormed into the building, past the party, and into the lift. Thane got in alongside her, pressing the button for floor eight.
Each floor was designed to 'look' like the district of the same number. But it was a much more glamorous, completely false version. No one actually wanted to stay in District Twelve, but they loved the way the darkened hallways looked like mine shafts, how the walls glittered with gold and gems that the real District Twelve never had. They were coal mines, but that wasn't as pretty.
The floor for District Eight was just as falsely glamorous, with silk and satin lining the walls, with gold embroidery decorating the doors as their room numbers. 802 804 806. Thane stepped in front of Eulalia, running the key card and opening the door. They didn't know who this was, they'd had no chance to look into him or his past Thane hated that. But the room was dark.
"Oh good, we did beat him here." Thane mused, stepping into the room. He reached out for the light, but came up empty. "Where in the hell-" He finally found the light and he slapped it on, the two of them jumping when they realized there was someone in the room after all.
"Adler?" Eulalia's heart sank as she felt the betrayal. It was incredibly rare for a victor to request another victor but it wasn't unheard of. He wouldn't be her first. But somehow, because of his comments earlier, it felt like even more of a betrayal.
"The one and only." Adler sat in a chair in the corner, by the window that overlooked the city. "This floor is god awful. Do they put you on the first floor?" He asked.
"I have an apartment in town, but I often end up on whatever floor my client is on." She struggled to keep the disdain out of her voice. "Thane you can-" She started to move out of the way. Thane had a murderous look on his face but she shook her head. "Go." the last thing she wanted was for him to get in trouble.
"No, Hawksley, it's fine, you can stay if you'd like." Their heads jerked to face him in unison. "I didn't hire you to bang you, Golding" Adler stood. "Armitage was putting in his bid and I don't like that prick, so I outbid him just to make sure he couldn't have you." He held a glass of something in his hand- a brown liquor of some kind.
"You did?" Eulalia's eyes widened a bit as he came closer.
"I did. You should probably stay for a bit, but you're safe from me, sweetheart. I prefer my partners to be actually willing." There was a knock at the door and while Eulalia jumped, Adler just pulled it open and gestured for the person to come in. It was an Avox who pushed a cart full of food. Just the smell set her mouth watering.
"Thanks," Adler commented to the Avox as they bowed their head and hurried out of the room. "Like I said, Hawksley, you're welcome to stay. I don't know how closely they watch you two, but I'm sure no one would be shocked at the revelation that you two are fucking."
Eulalia had been through a lot in her life, but nothing had made her clutch her non-existent pearls the way that suggestion did.
"Watch your mouth, Cresswell," Thane warned. "Eulalia and I have never-"
"Really?" Adler quirked an eyebrow. "That explains the looks. So what, you just escort her to-"
"I said. Watch. Your. Mouth. Come on, Lalia, I don't think him being a quick finisher would be a shock to anyone either." Thane turned to go, but stopped when he realized Eulalia hadn't moved,
"If we leave too soon- Snow will just book another one." She pointed out. She'd learned the hard way. She had once drugged a client and went to leave, but was intercepted by Snow who happily found her a second for the night. Also, the food looked and smelled amazing. Her stomach growled loudly and Thane sighed.
"Fine." He unbuttoned and removed his jacket, taking it off and hanging it up, then he began unbuttoning his shirt.
"What are you-" Eulalia's eyes widened.
"You can't sit or get comfortable in that dress."
"I have extra shirts she can wear." Adler offered.
"No." The idea of Eulalia in another man's clothes bothered him more than he cared to admit. Thane got his shirt off- he was wearing an undershirt, so he wasn't fully half-naked in front of them. He held the shirt out to her and she took it, hurrying off to the bathroom to take off the dress.
"Green is a good color on you, Thane." Adler opened a few of the cloches that covered the food. He'd gotten a ton of different options. "The cost is being covered by someone else, might as well overindulge." He shrugged.
"I'm not green," Thane argued, walking over and grabbing a handful of fried potatoes, tossing one in his mouth.
"You're undressing in my hotel room to stop that woman from wearing a shirt out of my closet." Adler pointed out, picking up one of the plates and going to sit back down in the chair by the windows.
"I'm not- It's not like that." Thane stammered.
"Oh, I'm not bothered. I rather like half-dressed men in my hotel room- fully undressed it better but I will take what I can get." Adler shrugged. Thane was left- again- speechless. The bathroom door opened and Eulalia walked out, she'd changed out of the dress and had taken her overly complicated hair down as well as removing her makeup. There were still some bits of hair that were hard with hair spray but this was the most undone that she'd let anyone other than Thane and Orin see her in years.
"Here." Thane picked up one of the plates and held it out to her, he knew what she liked, and even when she was indulging she never let herself go too wild with it. He did sneak a few little treats onto the plate. if they were there, and no one mentioned them, then she'd let herself enjoy them.
"Thank you." Eulalia took the plate and hopped over to the bed, hopping on. Thane made up his own plate and turned. Eulalia was happily eating, her focus on the plate on the bed in front of her. Adler, however, was silent, unmoving, his gaze on Eulalia.
Thane didn't say anything. He could understand it. The first time he met Eulalia Golding, as young as she was, she understood the importance of public perception. She kept the facade up for him for a ridiculously long time. She wouldn't let him come over to the apartment that had been rented for her too early, because she needed time to get up, do her hair and make-up, and make sure she was dressed and ready to go.
So the first time he saw her without all of that, the first time he got to see the Eulalia that was underneath it all- it had been blindsiding and now that she was grown- it was somehow breathtaking. Her beauty wasn't dependent upon all the bullshit.
Thane sat in the other chair, next to Adler's and he started to eat.
"Thank you, Adler," Eulalia commented. She had already gotten through a good bit of her food and was pushing the rest around idly. "I can't stand Armitage." She picked up a potato and bit into it. Her eyes closed as it melted in her mouth. She didn't let herself eat a lot of potatoes but damn she loved them.
Adler got up and snatched her plate.

"You're welcome." He answered, adding more potatoes and bringing it back, putting the plate down in front of her. Eulalia glanced at Thane, but his eyes were on Adler. "Like I said- I want my partners," his eyes darted between the two of them, "Willing." He plopped back down and propped one foot up on the bed. Eulalia looked thoughtful, working out what he'd meant, what his eyes had said that his lips hadn't.
Slowly but surely it hit her. She straightened, her eyes widening.
"Adler- are you..." She trailed off.
"I'm whatever I want to be, Golding." He commented, shrugging. "Usually. Around here it's hard to keep it that way." He admitted. "I never understood why you chose to live here."
Eulalia surprised him by letting out a bitter laugh.
"I've never been allowed to choose anything in my life."
"What?" Even Thane was shocked by that one.
"You heard me." Eulalia shrugged, unwilling to say it again. As if Snow or someone else might appear out of nowhere and punish her- or worse, Thane- because she dared to speak up.
"Lalia." Thane's voice was gentle. She shrugged.
"It's fine. I knew when I was a kid what was going to happen... well... not all of it." She admitted. She'd been completely floored when she found out that winning the games didn't lead to freedom. It led to more shackles. She glanced up when no one spoke up and found Thane staring at her while Adler was back to eating, finishing up the food he had on his plate.
"Then it sounds, Golding like you should probably start making your own decisions." Adler dropped his fork and leaned back, finally looking at her.
Eulalia caught her lip between her teeth, looking thoughtful.
"That's enough." Thane stood and took the plates from Adler and Eulalia, taking them to the room service cart. He sorted through what was left on the tray, putting it all on one serving platter and moving it to the table by the door, and then he pushed the cart out of the room to be taken away.
When he turned around Eulalia was standing, her gaze flicking back and forth between Thane and Adler.
"Lalia." Her hands moved to the buttons of her shirt. Adler was leaning forward, his elbows resting on his knees. His eyes had a hungry glint to them.
"Sit, Thane." She ordered, nodding at the chair, she unbuttoned the first button. He didn't move, but he also didn't try to say anything to stop her as she did the same to the second button- the third-
The shirt had eight buttons, she'd only buttoned six of them. Thane's mind screamed at him to stop her, to protect her but deep down he knew- she wanted this, She didn't want him stepping in and telling her what to do.
Adler quirked an eyebrow but remained silent as she let the shirt fall from her shoulders. The soft as clouds material pooled at her feet and she bit her lip, for the first time in a very long time, she looked unsure of herself. Adler stood up, closing the space between them. He placed one hand on her hip, leaning in to kiss her.
Thane's hand balled into a fist, but he didn't feel the urge to punch Adler in the face- no. Instead, he felt a stirring, his cock twitching, coming to life in his pants.
Adler broke the kiss and turned his head to look at Thane. He held a hand out, gesturing for him to join. Thane, however, looked to Eulalia for permission. If she wanted him to walk out right now, he'd do it for her. She gave a small nod, gesturing with her own hand to come closer.
He crossed the room and up close he could see she seemed a bit lust drunk but when Adler's hand gripped the back of his neck, pulling him down, he didn't stop himself from kissing her. The soft kiss quickly turned to something rougher, the bruising kiss letting out years of tension. Adler let it go on, then used his grip on Thane's neck to break the kiss, pulling the other man in to kiss him.
Adler hadn't known he was bi before coming to the Capitol. He didn't have the vocabulary to know such a thing when he lived in District Eight, but he did know from a young age that he looked at men in the same way he did women. He thought he was a sexual deviant- he knew gay people and he knew straight people but to like both?
When he won his games and he had to deal with the tastes of the people here he started to realize- though he couldn't fucking stand the people in The Capitol- that maybe they had something going with not caring as much about the gender of their lover.
Which was why he was able to kiss Thane without any reservation. He could tell by the looks on both Thane and Eulalia's faces that neither of them expected this to happen. He expertly unbuttoned Thane's fly, tugging the zipper down.
"get them off." He ordered, referring to the pants. Thane nodded and stepped back, kicking off his shoes and tugging his pants down around his ankles, he stepped fully out of them and Adler went to the chair, holding Eulalia's hand so she would follow him there. He sat, propping her up on his lap.
"Keep going." He gestured when Thane paused. He pulled his undershirt over his head, tossing it over by his abandoned pants. Eulalia's tongue darted out to wet her lips, Adler's hand moved between her legs, his fingers slowly running up and down her slit.
"You're soaked, darling, do you see something you like?" He asked, pressing a kiss to her shoulder. She nodded, her mouth moving soundlessly for a moment before she found her voice.
"Y-yes, Yes I do." She nodded rapidly. Her heart racing.
"You're still too dressed, Thane, keep going," Adler ordered, his fingers were working Eulalia but his eyes were on Thane, just as much lust in his gaze as there was in hers. Thane found he liked the attention, his fingers hooking into the waistband of his boxer briefs, taking his time to slowly lower them. His cock strained against the fabric, desperate to be let free. When he got them down low enough, his cock bobbed to life, the boxers falling to his ankles.
"Oh-" Eulalia gasped seeing his size. She'd known he wasn't small, she'd been around him almost twenty-four-seven since she won her games, she had seen little hints and ghosts of what was hiding behind the well-tailored pants but she couldn't have imagined this.
Adler slipped two fingers into her, her pussy taking them easily with how wet she was. He slid them in and out slowly, gesturing, with his other hand for Thane to come closer. The man didn't think twice about it, crossing the small space between them and kneeling down.
"See how fucking soaked she is, Thane? And it's all for you."
"Not all of it." Thane denied, glancing up at Adler, his meaning clear. Adler smirked in response.
"Spread your legs, Eulalia." He ordered and she did just that. "How long have you wanted a taste of that sweet pussy, Thane? How long have you dreamed about it." Thane's cheeks went pink at the suggestion, knowing that it was very much true.
"Thane." Eulalia's voice was low, almost questioning.
"A while." He admitted. "A couple of years." He glanced up at her face, she seemed shocked- but not mad. He was just glad she wasn't mad at him. She lived in a world where everyone was using her. Where just about everyone was out to sleep with her or take something from her. He didn't want to be one of those people. His attraction to her went so much deeper than her looks. She was beautiful no doubt, but she was also brilliant and funny and he had spent just about every waking moment with her for years and he wanted to keep doing it until the day one of them died.
"Do it." She ordered. He dug his nails into his thighs to keep himself from just diving directly between her legs.
"Lalia-"
"Do it, Thane, please." She spread her legs wider and that was all the invitation he needed. Thane moved forward, finally burying his face between her legs.
She was as divine as he imagined, her pussy was sweet and warm, soft like velvet. She moaned, her hips rolling up to meet his tongue and he knew- this was dangerous. He was going to end up addicted. He gripped her hips, holding her there as he continued his feast.
He glanced up and Eulalia and Adler were kissing. Her hand moved down next to Thane's head, over the very obvious bulge in Adler's trousers. Thane ate with fervor, further driven by her unbuttoning and unzipping Adler's fly, her hand slipping down into his pants.
"Take it out." He paused his meal just long enough to utter the words. She broke the kiss to look at him and he gave a single nod before going back to it. Eulalia did as she was told, freeing Adler's cock from his pants and fuck- Thane found he was just as hungry for that. Her hand moved up and down Adler's thick cock- he wasn't quite as long as Thane, but he seemed to be thicker. Her hand definitely couldn't close all the way around it. Thane moved from her pussy to lick along the underside of Adler's cock until Eulalia's hand got in the way.
One look up at the man told Thane that he hadn't been expecting that, his eyes were partially closed.
"That's a good boy." Adler encouraged. Thane helped Eulalia with the hand job, his hand could properly close around the circumference of Adler's cock and their hands together moved in sync while he went back to eating Eulalia out.
His work was soon rewarded by her thigh muscles tensing, the one hand he still had on her hip held tighter as she tried to break free. She let out a cry of pleasure, her back arching up as she came, her grip on Adler's cock tightened the slightest bit- not enough to hurt him but just enough for him to feel the difference.
"Fuck-" He groaned. She didn't pull her hand away even as she rode out the orgasm her legs shaking with the effort to stay properly open. Adler reached down, stopping their work on his cock. "On the bed, Eulalia, on your hands and knees. I want to see what you can do with that pretty mouth of yours." He got her up off his lap- on his pants there was an obvious wet spot from where she'd literally dripped down- He didn't give it a second glance, Carefully moving Thane out of the way as well so he could stand, removing the pants anyway. As well as his shirt. He hadn't been wearing anything under all of that, leaving him fully naked in front of them.
Eulalia- as if just remembering what he said- hopped up and headed for the bed. She climbed up, moving until she was at the end where Adler stood, waiting for her.
"Fuck." Thane moved so he was behind her, getting a proper look at her ass, at her cunt still glistening. As Eulalia took Adler's cock into her mouth, starting with just the tip and working her way up to more, Thane climbed up onto the bed behind her. He tapped her leg and she moved her legs further apart without question. He watched as she worked Adler, positioning his cock at her entrance. However, she decided he was taking far too long, pushing back, the head popping into her with ease. With that permission, he thrust forward, she was tight but she was able to take almost every inch on the first try. She groaned around the other man's cock, her eyes rolling back.
Adler reached out, gripping her hair and thrusting his hips forward, forcing a few inches down her throat, when that didn't gag her he smirked, exchanging a look with Thane.
Thane nodded and the two began a rhythm, in at the same time, out at the same time, impaling her mouth and her cunt again and again, She whimpered, her nails digging into the comforter, but she gave no signs of distress, nothing to indicate that she wanted to stop. If anything it seemed she wanted more, one hand letting go of the comforter to move between her legs.
"Pull out," Thane ordered. Adler frowned but did so, as did Thane.
"No," Eulalia whined. Thane flipped her onto her back, helping her move up so her head was hanging over the side of the bed. She opened her mouth again and he went right back to fucking her throat. Thane adjusted her hips and began to thrust into her, one arm held her hips up for the angle he wanted, and the other moved to her clit, teasing her.
At the other end, Adler was toying with her nipples, pinching and tugging on one and then the other, light slaps to her breasts that left her milky white skin a harsh pink color- the contrast was intoxicating.
Experimentally- Thane slapped her clit and she cried out, her cunt squeezing him tight. She might not have had use of her voice but she didn't let that stop her from being vocal as she came, her nails now digging into Adler's thigh. He pumped harder and faster until he knew he couldn't hold out any longer, pulling out fully, he fucked his own hand until he was cumming, the thick translucent white ropes coating her chest and neck.
Adler stepped back so Eulalia could sit up a little better as one- two- three more pumps and-
"Don't pull out," Eulalia demanded. "You know I'm on birth control and- please." She begged. Thane didn't need her to ask him twice, he kept going until he was filling her up, he'd dreamt about this for so damn long- he could even pinpoint the day he realized it. It had been a few weeks after her nineteenth birthday. She'd been on the market for over a year at that point and had been ranting to him about it, about the kinds of people who hired her.
She'd straddled his lap, smelling of vanilla and the sweet scent of the whiskey she'd taken a liking to, grinding herself down on him. He hadn't done anything because he knew she was drunk but that was the day he realized how fucking attracted to her he was.
And now with that coming to a head, he dumped enough cum into her that when he pulled out, it was leaking down out of her cunt and onto the hotel bedding.
"Eulalia." He let himself fall back onto his ass, watching her. She looked incredible, his cum dripping out of her, her chest covered in Adler's. She was still a bit drunk on her lust, her eyes glassy, her chest heaving. Adler smirked and squatted down so that he was level with her head.
"Are you okay, princess?" He asked. She nodded slowly.
"I- I've never... felt like that before. That was more than just an orgasm." She insisted. She'd cum before- it wasn't terribly often but with the partners she chose it usually happened. But nothing had ever been like that before. She was fully sure she'd had an out-of-body experience.
Adler chuckled and walked around the bed, heading for the bathroom.
"Don't move." He told them, coming back with some warm, wet cloths.
"You're staying at the same building as the rest of us for training... right?" Eulalia asked Adler, normally she traveled back and forth between her apartment and the facility for the games but this year- if he was going to be there then maybe, just maybe, she would stay in her rooms there.
"Yeah." He answered shortly, cleaning up her chest.
"Good." Eulalia nodded and let her head fall back to the bed as the two men cleaned her up.
Tomorrow was going to be rough, between travel and getting a good look at the two tributes she was sending to die, but tonight, she was going to enjoy the time she had.

I wanna know more about your clone ocs!
thank you so much for asking this you have opened the floodgates i am so sorry!
i have nine: tidbit, crypt, oops, flipside, sher, intel, three-two, pint, and dangle. i’ve only (officially) drawn crypt and tidbit so far, but i do have a sketch for oops that i’ll be putting in here as reference. it is also worth mentioning that only crypt and tidbit are actually alive - the others all died so they dont have as much lore!
everyone except tidbit (crypt + co) are batchmates. the large majority of them die before they can individualize so they don’t have many unique designs my bad! also they’re all relatively young- i’d like to think that they’re fresh out of kamino and get assigned to the 501st on umbara almost immediately. and that goes SPLENDID (all of them die except for crypt, who is left to deal with losing every single one of his batchmates within a single campaign)
putting things under a "keep reading" section because it gets pretty long
crypt ct-4342:
Tumblr media
well he WAS going to be a medic and them umbara fucked him up so severely (physically and mentally) that he couldnt deal w the hypothetical consequences of having blood on his hands anymore
now hes a slicer (he goes back to get medic certified because he does want to save people but that’s a separate character arc)
honestly i signed him up for bad things happen bingo and he just has to deal with it
doesnt get a name until after umbara, chose it because a) encryption, slicing reference b) crypt -> grave -> his brothers never got one
facial/corneal scarring that holds his right eye slightly open+ some hearing loss that he makes up for with (unsanctioned) modifications to his bucket. outer arm scarring too because he shielded his head
tidbit ct-2719:
Tumblr media
field medic ! hes also a little bitch but a) older and b) aware of concepts such as “emotional maturity” and “compartmentalization” so he’s doing ok
he and crypt hit it off pretty quickly because it took him exactly three whole days of being stationed w the 501st to sprain an ankle by doing a cartwheel on a sloped floor (dangle dared him to)... but he was polite and nice and compliant in the medbay which is rare
theyre the most brother figures to ever i love them dearly
anyway tidbit keeps his hair short because he got fed up w it getting in his face when leaning over people you know how it is. never plans on getting a tattoo because he’s seen too many people in the medbay with ink related infections for that to happen, settles for hair bs instead
got his name because he tells his patients random bullshit to distract them
mostly closed off bc he’s seen a lot of troopers die (he cares far too much and it’s becoming a problem) and if he can’t save them in time then it means he’s losing those he loves because of his own incompetence
oops ct-4748 (dies on umbara):
Tumblr media
this motherfucker decided to catch an activated thermal detonator and tossed it back so late that he burnt his eyebrows off permanently (he also has burns on his hand but they wear gloves)
the only thing he said was “oops” so that’s his brand now
overall he was a pretty chill guy too bad he died saving crypt
(he dies draped on top of crypt, who wakes up half thinking that they’re back on kamino in a batch pile but nope! oops is dead sher is dead pint is dead three-two is dead he can only pray that dangle and intel are alright) (crypt gets up and casts oops off and has to leave him behind, stumbling through a veritable graveyard, almost blind in one eye and teary-eyed in the other, and almost gets shot when he finally finds more troopers) (they’re the 212th but its okay they're alive and okay) (he gets through the disguise clusterfuck and crypt races over to tidbit to ask about dangle and intel) (they’re dead and gone and he has never been so alone)
flipside ct-4344 (dies on umbara):
little bitch, got his name because he really hated the kamino bunk pillows and kept flipping them over to get at the cooler side (he just ran really hot for no reason)
dies in a classic krell “push forward no matter the consequences” maneuver- he's the first of the batch to die actually good for him
was probably the closest to straight up defecting out of everyone
sher ct-4190 (dies on umbara):
the calm normal guy, he and intel are probably the reasons the batch got off kamino in the first place
slightly longer hair than regulation - he wanted to grow it out into a ponytail but guess what happened
was an older brother out of necessity but the others realized how hard he was taking it whenever any of them did something reckless and got hurt as a result so they toned it down a bit
forces crypt to go on without him when he gets shot and subsequently dies alone
he was going to be a sniper bc he always had steady hands (his batchmates always asked him to cut their hair for them) (he was trembling when he died) (i think he was too kind to survive much longer than that anyway)
intel ct-4223 (dies on umbara):
REALLY focused on making plans, the second most responsible
“guys, please, what’s the plan? we have intel for this test, we just watched the other group take it-”
“you and your intel. i say our plan is to FUCK IT and BALL”
he and sher try really hard to manage the others. sadly kamino does not manufacture child leashes
gets killed on umbara like a good soldier who follows orders (krell tactics again)
he dies painfully aware of his own insignificance bc preciously he was driven by some hope that hey!!! if we get past this training/test/battle we won’t be forgotten but exactly three people end up remembering him as a person lmao (tidbit, crypt, rex)
i think he and dogma fucking hated each other
pint ct-4337 (dies on umbara):
the only one of them to have paint on their armor pre-umbara and thats through sheer bad luck - he walked into a room and kicked over a can of paint and got some of it on his boot toe
dies alongside intel
three-two ct-4332 (dies on umbara):
never chose a name, pretty withdrawn from the rest of his batch bc he, unfortunately, is hyperaware of his circumstances and what will happen to his brothers after the war
aggressively regulation haircut
as soon as intel and pint are killed in front of him he realizes that they might not matter in the long run but his brothers wormed their ways into his heart and now they're gone before he even chose a name. he didnt even get to tell them his name and they're dead (messes up and gets shot moments later)
dangle ct-4322 (dies on umbara):
suspiciously flexible, probably hypermobile, loved dangling (!) from the top bunk with his legs on the bed and his entire upper body just. hanging there
saw shaak ti do a sick jedi trick ONCE and decided that was his brand so he liked practicing cartwheels and splits and backbends in his spare time
they didnt have music (cant have shit on kamino) so he hummed his own and imagined dances to them
dies on umbara ft the clone eating plant thing because he was under the impression that crypt was just killed
