conceptualizing a Laura epilogue…

im a firm In-Water ending believer. so very easily Laura’s life continues no matter what- whether she left with James or not.

even in Leave ending scenario, I don’t believe he would adopt Laura. i don’t read him as capable or willing to raise a child

Laura continued to grow up and eventually ages out of the system. As her health condition is better managed/supported, she could go to public school and live with foster placements. Like a Normal Girl

James is alive: he’s a hermit weirdo like his father now. if they ever met again it would be a very uncomfortable reunion.

James underwater adventure: she goes back to sh and has her own awful experience coping with Mary’s murder/death and how much she can blame/hate James. maybe her own health issues.

I think in ‘Questioning the King’ Will was playing the “if you don’t like it you can just leave,” card, and didn’t actually think that Vincent would go for it. Will saying he “won’t [ever] be wrong” and then thinking Vincent will stay would be delicious foreshadowing just saying-

And from a naritive standpoint (I’m not a Vincent fan don’t come for me) his whole thing is being a prince. Like we have Vampire Mate, Vampire Prince, and(soon to be) Vampire Boyfriend. I don’t know what would really happen to his plot line/overall character if he isn’t a vampire. Almost every character (that’s not filler, looking at you Ollie/Guy) has some kind of goal or something else keeping them going.
