Let's say you joined beta squad when it first started. Maybe you know Sharky for a long time and we're introduced to the others then instantly clicked

At first you were hesitant when you were invited to join. But you made the decision to join, which changed your life forever

They weren't friends they were family to you

They'd always look out for you like you were their little sister

You had a bond with each and one of them. You would hang out off camera and talk to them whenever

Also feel like AJ is more comfortable with you and will sometimes hug you (like in the mukbang video where he was hugging Chunkz when Sharky was laughing at him almost drowning )

They'd never do anything without you

They would never admit it but they're your biggest supporters and would give you their honest opinions about decisions you make

They definitely would try to be annoying commenting rude things on your Instagram posts

Them being rude to you as a joke but fans take it seriously and make dramatic edits about it. (Just like the AJ edits but 10x dramatic)

When you all lived together you would always cook for them so they wouldn't always order take out everyday

They loved your cooking and sometimes show up to your house uninvited just for you to cook for them

Unless you're a bad cook, I could imagine you attempting to cook but end up burning the food. Which leads to them making fun of you for it and it becomes a huge joke

You and Harry pinaro having the worst relationship ever to the point where people actually think you two hate each other

You two don't get along (I love/hate Harry)

In the weakest link videos I feel like you'd get the hardest questions since everyone knows you have the most intelligence out of all of them

Sometimes when a person collaborates with the channel and they end up flirting and the boys would either tease or get weirded out

I feel like they'd tease depending on the person

If it was stormzy, KSI, or anyone else they'd definitely get weirded out by it

If it was Trent they'd tease you about it till the day you die. They'd bring it up in almost every sports related conversation or video.

You being the mom of the group and making sure everyone is okay. You'd text them everyday to make sure they're doing fine

In the cooking video for amp channel let's say you and Duke teamed up (sorry filly)

But before the video, you, Chris, and Davis had a conversation. You gave them advice, out of all the amp members they connected with you the most

But the amp cook off was chaotic especially with you

You actually tried for half the challenge before giving up and just having fun. It was better to just entertain the viewers instead of actually trying to win

You decided to annoy everyone by moving their stuff

I imagine you, aj, fanum, and Niko get in an argument and start throwing flour each other

you and Duke losing which leads to you threatening the person who switched out everyone's cakes

you and Niko both manage the beta squad Instagram and tiktok since you know all the popular trends

Even though everyone is behind Instagram and tiktok, you are mostly the one posting on it, and the one who replies to comments

Niko and you are both know for being menaces and immature. Especially when you two are filming together, you both make the most craziest pranks. Your friendship with him is so adorable and wholesome. You both always joke around and add on to each other's jokes to make it more funny. Always having laugh attacks with him.

You and Chunkz are literally the duo who randomly burst into a song together. You two both send songs to each other and both show a huge interest in music. I like to imagine you and Chunkz going on a drive or just hanging out to sing to music. You two also know a lot of people and are the ones who know a lot of celebrities. You two are the ones who message famous people to Collab with the Beta squad.

You and AJ love hating on each other, even though he'll leave positive messages on your Instagram to be funny, he bashes you and insults you at the same time. It's a bit confusing at times to tell if you're completing each other or insulting. But you two never get offended and know when to stop.

Man, you and Kenny have such a bond. You were his biggest supporter during his Boxing matches and Practices. If you love to work out or get exercise, you both go to the gym together or you'll go on diets with him so he won't be alone. He always goes to you for advice on girls. You two laugh at the random things and can't take anything serious. You and him always are always whispering things to each other during filming.

Sharky and you are known to laugh so hard where you can't even breathe. You two laugh in serious situations and always look at each other before bursting out laughing. He likes to drag you outside for a walk and just listen to music with each other. Similar to Chunkz, he sends you songs that he thinks you'll like.

overall the boys are grateful for you and everything you've done for them. You're like family to them. They all love you. They are family, not just a friend group to you. They love you and always will.

Darry and Two-Bit

Almost every single request has involved Darry, glad he's getting love. I couldn't find any photos of these two together though :(

Darry and Two-Bit Friendship Headcanons

When they were kids, Mrs. Curtis was besties with Ms. Mathews so Darry and Two kinda grew up together.

They were constantly together since Ms. Mathews was working at the same diner and everything with Mrs. Curtis.

And they didn’t get tired of eachother either. They were pretty similar age and everything so they were just playing their regular childhood games. They’d find other east side or middle class kids to play tag or cowboys with. Your normal stuff.

As they got older, Darry also became best friends with Paul. So they became a trio of sorts. But Paul’s parents DEFINITELY did not want him near them. Mainly Two-Bit because he was more of a typical greaser. Darry they could see being a soc. Two-Bit was a bad influence on their “perfect child”.

The only time Darry acts like a middle-aged dad is around Two-Bit. And as a joke. It started off with one time Darry said a very dad-like thing and Two-Bit just groaned and told him “You sound just like my mom!” and Darry made it his goal to annoy two-bit by doing that at least once a day. Whether it’s stealing a snack from him and overdramatically saying “Dad Tax” or sitting down next to him with an overly serious tone and telling him “Sonny boy, we need to have a talk.” Two-Bit hates it so much and Darry finds it hilarious. 

Two-Bit is the one Darry acts his age around though. Mostly because Two encourages him to do so. Whether it's trying to get him to go to a party or just take a drive around. 

When they were younger, Darry wanted to buy birthday gifts for Soda and Pony. So he tested out babysitting and made plenty of cash. Two-Bit joined him as well because he wanted some extra money. They became quite the powerful duo. Though some parents would request that just Darry show up.

When Darry was still a more reckless teenager of sorts, they would both give each other so many weird dares. Like the time Two-Bit walked into the diner in a dress and really badly done make-up (Done by Darry ofc) and had to order a cheeseburger without the bun. Or the time Darry had to call Mr. Curtis because he was now hanging upside down from a tree with a jump rope tied to him. Where was Two-Bit you ask? He was too busy untying the lawn flamingo from the other side of the jump rope.

 Darry can help Two-Bit out of a funk and vice versa. Sometimes Two will have times where he takes things seriously. Like he says something about him being fat and laughs though Darry can tell he’s hurting. When Darry has those times where he feels like a terrible person and bad brother Two-bit is right there reassuring him.

Two-Bit is one of the few Darry actually has his complete trust in when it comes to Ponyboy. Most people don’t think Two is responsible, but he actually is. Especially when it comes to kids. So if Pony needs someone to be with him whether it’s walking around town or just sitting at home and Darry feels he’s unsafe, Two is the first person he calls.

Darry has always been a sweetheart, innocent not so much, but respectful at least. But on some of Two-Bit and him’s drives Two would catcall just about any girl who walked by. Making Darry duck and hide in the car. Sometimes Two would drag him out and call out something like “I ain’t too pretty, but my buddy here is on the football team!” which would always make Darry turn bright red. A couple times the girl has approached the car and gotten his number though Darry is a stuttering mess. He isn’t that bad at flirting but when put on the spot he is terrible at just about everything.

Sometimes Two-Bit will just stare at Darry with an unreadable gaze. A look of sadness almost. It’s really just him looking at this tired, sore, and hardened young guy who looks like he has decades of working weighing him down. Wondering where that fun and reckless teenager with that charming smile that made girls swoon, where he possibly could’ve gone. His best friend, reduced to scraping the bottom to survive.

Darry was making chocolate cake one time and Two-Bit wanted to try and make one too. But he substituted several ingredients in the cake for alcohol. Usually it starts to evaporate since most people don’t use that much of it in foods, but Two-Bit poured an entire bottle or 3. It was more of a soup than a cake. Darry turned around to put his cake in the oven and just looked at Two like ??!?!?

Darry loves Two-bit’s little sister, he sees her as his own sibling. Him and Two used to play with her quite often. Sometimes they would put on little plays or try to teach her to play cards.

Second Prince Ante, Prince of Greed

Ante - Greed is a power-hungry individual who can never find true fulfillment. They're always grinning and laughing at those less fortunate than them and even those who are above them. Having given up on life and humanity, they care absolutely about nothing. They only live for themselves and their own goals and gains. Initially, they only joined Mistress Moon's cause for the laughs, but now that they realised after signing the contract how serious this is, they latched at the opportunity to figure out how to turn this new chance into a venture. In their free time, Ante likes collecting secrets and gaudy trinkets and giving out loans every now and then. People indebted to Ante all eventually realise that their debt seems to be ever growing and impossible to pay off with the interest rates they charge. As Ante reaffirms their hold on these people with the knowledge of their darkest secrets and the threat of exposing them, they feel compelled to do as Ante bids them in hopes of their debts being dismissed. Ante loves poking fun at Rothbart and is fully convinced that they would do a much better job at leading the Princes. They're not fully aligned with Mistress Moon's cause, but they still crave the power over the other Princes, which actually seems fairly achievable to them as they're the second most powerful in the group. They like Chevalierose the best out of the other Princes because they're the most fun to hang out with. They're both appreciators of indulgence, so they make a great duo. Ante likes teasing Zelus because they find their reactions hilarious, but they actually think very little of them. They feel neutral towards Gévaudan since he's nearly impossible to rile up. They're fairly distant towards Mille-feuille and Agni since they're the two weakest Princes, but they did investigate their deepest secrets as a fail safe in case Ante would need something to motivate them to take their side instead of Rothbart's in something serious. They very rarely fight, but when they do, it's terrifying. While their power doesn't seem all that impressive, they can be very creative with them. They spend more time in their Prince form rather than civil because they care very little about that sad life. (Also, because I have no idea what their civil life is like XD) Commands the Indebted.

Ante has hyper sensitive hearing. They're pretty good at picking out the relevant information out from the crowd, though they can't always identify the speakers and the locations of these conversations. The other Princes's voices are immune to this ability.

Their most recognisable and visually impressive power are their army of spectral hands they have full reign over. These spectral hands are capable of carrying out all of their orders, given that they're physically achievable and they will not relent under any circumstance until the order is carried out to its fullest. These hands are summoned from a pocket realm Ante has full access to. They store their hands and the knickknacks they collected within.

What makes Shourtney stand out to me (as a possible couple) is that despite all the LA influences and insane talent, they kinda seem like two people you could see hanging out in your neighborhood. They are so special but normal at the same time if that makes sense.

I also feel that neither of them are particularly great at hiding their true feelings about people and things around them - and I love that about them. I'm sure they do a loooooot of self-censoring but at the same time, have hard time maintaining a proper poker face.

Actually, there are some 2019-2020 videos where Courtney and Shayne start acting silly/flirty together, and the other person in the room (usually Ian and Damien) has a slightly amused but uncomfortable "here we go again" expression on their face. The expression is so relatable 'cause I've been in similar situations myself at the workplace and kept thinking "you guys really need to do something about this romantic tension 'cause we have a meeting with the boss in two minutes and she might have some questions". So awkward but hilarious at the same time.

Similarly to the previous anon, I also wish we could hear their own experience at some point since what we discuss here in Tumblr, is mainly just speculation/interpretation. Even if it turns out that Shourtney never happened and we shippers have been living in delulu, I'd still love to hear what their shared journey has been (bts) since it feels like they rarely talk about their friendship/something-else-ship anymore. Ian and Anthony discuss their friendship frequently in videos, Shayne and Damien make references to their shared past experiences from time to time, and I've even heard Amanda and Angela commenting on how close friends they are. But I can not remember the last time Shayne and Courtney had even a brief discussion about them as a duo, despite being one of the more iconic ones.

I actually think that it was the contradiction between their non-verbal language and verbal treatment of each other that led me to speculate (1-2 years ago) that something is going on bts. For me their "heart eyes" alone are not really a proof of anything since they keep looking at half the cast with similar endearment. However, I found it weird that they would look at each other so lovingly (at least in brief moments) but rarely ever say anything friend-like directly to each other or even act politely, like normal coworkers. Some people will explain that with their long friendship but they are close with Damien and Ian as well and rarely act in the same contradictory way with them. I just can't explain that with anything else but "something's going on".

As a background info: I started my Smosh journey with videos from 2022 and 2023, and initially, knew nothing about the Shourtney shipping that happened in late 2010s. Despite this (or because of it?) I sensed something between them and was not surprised to hear that they might be more than just coworkers. However, I def understand why shippers got a bad rep in Defy era because I can not sense the same chemistry between them in older videos and would have needed a fair amount of delulu to convince myself that they are together. Nowadays, it's the other way around: you need to make a lot of mental acrobics to explain why they are most probably just friends.

Btw, sorry for a long, not-so-cohesive ramble on this. I'm writing this in a sleepy mode, and am not sure myself what is the red thread of this anymore. :D

I agree that between 2019 and 2021, Shourtney appeared different, especially during their Twitch streams since they were unedited, unlike now, where they can easily censor or edit some of their moments.

Regarding their chemistry, from 2015 to 2018, it was just full-blown flirting as friends. (I don't know if I'm just being delusional), but something changed in 2019.🙉🙈

Henry:

He has so many siblings now, oh god

Bobby is slightly more of a handful than he's used to, so he (and Lucy) keep him on his toes

Henry always asks Regina if he was like that as a kid, and her answer is always a smug "Yes"

Bobby likes spending time with Henry's other families (ie, his own and the Swan-Joneses)

Evie's a lot quieter, so he appreciates that

He's very protective of Evie specifically

She could ask him for the moon and the stars, and you know that Henry would find someway to bring them down for her.

Roland:

He knows damn well that Bobby looks up to him a lot, so he tries to put on his best act when he's around

Unfortunately, he is more susceptible to The Eyes than Henry is, so Bobby ends up getting away with waaaaay more stuff with Big Bro Roland

Like Henry, he is also very protective of Evie, and will be the one who teaches her how to kill a man when she's older

Basically, Evie is their little princess, and you don't wanna fuck with her

While Evie doesn't like camping, she will tolerate it when she goes with her father, brothers, and sister.

Robyn:

Robyn's just glad she's not the baby anymore lol

She's the least busy of her siblings, by default of being younger, so she's the one who gets to babysit Bobby and Evie when the adults are busy

She and Bobby like to practice archery and eat dirt together or whatever it is kids do

She's never been very girly, so she and Evie have trouble bonding at times

Leo likes hanging out with little kids, so he never minds babysitting Chad

He's very bossy, however, and seems to be allergic to fun, so Chad doesn't like it when he babysits

Leo can also be kind of preachy about the rules, so Chad will end up getting more lectures from Leo than their parents sometimes

Despite the minor animosity, Leo always wants to be a role model and someone to look up to for Chad

He likes to teach him sword fighting and archery, even when Chad has zero interest or skill for those things

He and Chad go together like two peas in a pod

Beck's sarcastic outlook paired with Chad's optimism make a fully rounded duo

Alex is pretty chill with Chloe

Alex feels like a disappointment to their parents, so she is kind of worried that Chloe might be their "replacement"

Chloe basically hero-worships Alex, and dyes her hair blue like how Alex dyes theirs pink

In the future, Chloe ends up being a jock instead of a girly girl, and she and Alex bond over their mother not knowing what to do with either of them

Charlie:

He and Chloe argue (a lot)

Charlie hates sports, and Chloe hates boring nerd junk, so they don't get along

They are the epitome of "only I'M allowed to make fun of my sibling!" If anyone else makes fun of either of them, they get the wrath of the other one

He and Ariana specifically love to banter back and forth, which is hilarious to witness since Ariana wins 99% of the time

He will have tea parties with Audrey and dress up like a princess, and he will slay whichever princess dress she forces on him

The girls aren't actually triplets (Ariana isn't even their sister), but they're so close in age and act so similar, that they're always called triplets

They all love princess stuff, and adore being actual princesses; they all want to move to the Enchanted Forest and have balls

When they get older, they sing a different tune, but stay close

He has so many siblings now, oh god

Harriett has given Henry a lot of gray hairs; more than Bobby, almost as much as CJ

I am so curious as to what you'd think about Nina and Hoodie as a duo. They've been two of my absolute favorites (even if Brian technically isn't even a creepypasta) since I was younger and I've always loved them as a sort of big brother/little sister pairing. brian isnt very present in my story, partially bc ik some mh fans dont like the crossover very much. and by time ninas in the story, i want him+tim to kinda separate from slenderman as toby and kate take over. he's still involved and coming around since he gets horrible slender sickness(but its from the operator) if he's away too long, but he doesn't live near or befriend most of the main cast..

nina is very present in my story because i love her and she is such a good and fun representation of the fandom yk. but brian is much more realistic and late 30s man, while nina is a very cartoonish early 20s girl. theyre on very different fields character and life wise...

BUUUUUUUUUT they would still meet of course.

she'd be bubbling around the entire cast, meeting people through jeff. people initially think she's in the same vein as jeff, natalie, and toby, with a LONG list of blood on their hands influenced by the operator, so they just don't think much about it. theyre mostly surprised by how cheery she is, but the proxies are the first to find out she's just... obsessed with jeff..... so thats very off putting. brian isn't fond of it.

nina would develop some light slender sickness(again, from the operator) just by being around jeff all the time, but the operator never infected her because he didn't see her as a worthy vessel. so, she would have to come to the proxies about it. if toby isnt in the mood or busy, she'd just have to hope brian/tim are around with some pills that'll soothe the pain

brian is more likely to help. with nina, he'd be quick to take on a more protective role, trying to console her as she cries on the couch holding her head whining about static.

initial convos would go smth along the lines of "do you want some coffee ? or uh kids like hot chocolate huh... maybe tea" "i'm literally in my 20s please tell me toby has weed somewhere" "that does not help with this pain i promise" "how would you know" "haha. water it is."

brian was a major stoner back in his early 20s and nina thinks its fucking hilarious. . . she'll try to get him to smoke with her but he's rlly not interested LOLLLL.... hes like 15 yrs older than her he thinks its weird .

again, he's not around a lot, but she's always happy to bump into him. she'd be squealing n shit 'HIII BRIANNNN how r u :3' and he'd just be like :) hey nina. and then never answer the 'how r u' bc he doesnt actually wanna sit and talk .

its a good change of pace. he's been through hell and back for well over a decade by this point, everyone around him is a sad sack of shit, and he spent a long time just. fighting to be an optimistic, cool guy to hang around . . but .... like.... um..... its hard to be that kind of person after all he's been thru. something about nina just forces that sort of like..... glee out of him . its not a huge difference where he's suddenly bouncing and giggling and whatever, he's still just Some Guy. but he'll be like :) lol .

mayhaps he'd catch her trying on toby's goggles and he'd offer to let her try on his mask. but nina would fake gag and be like 'no i dont want that dirty musty nasty sack on my head' and he'd be like ?????. then he'd say she can wash it and then try it on. which.. as an older sibling.... is the type of shit i'd do just to get my sister to do smth for me that i dont wanna do LMFAOOO. she might fall for it just cuz my dear nina is the ultimate fangirl

i dunno i kinda struggled with this one just cuz in my au, they wouldnt be all that close and the Type of characters they are don't mesh very well, but i am super fond of the concept and would love to try expanding on it more

Narcistoru/secretoru: Yeah i can gurantee this is the only submission for them for Some Reason. Because no one ships them. Like i have searched the internet far and wide and turn up with like. Close to literal zero. And here's the thing, this is entirely illogical. They work together in this evil group and their deals are essentially that they're. Unhappy people. At first you think they're just annoying but actually they're annoying snd Extremely Miserable. In silly ways, they are such losers and so cringefail. I could write an essay on both of them individually, but basically i love how their focus isn't on being better people, it is on being happier. Individually.

The show is divided into clear parts of who is the main antagonist at the time which really makes you FEEL how unhappy they each are. They're a group but they're also not bc they choose to be unhappy ad get on each other's nerves about it and that's a prime focus of their characters. Anyway, these two make me insane, they spend a lot of time together during the middle part of the show, bc the first villain is gone so now it's just the two of them and their leader who isn't doing much yet. After this part, one of them, narcistoru, is defeated so he's gone for the time being. But these two, they hate each other SOOOOOOOO much it's insane. This is because Narcistoru is an annoying bitch and Secretoru hates that. And they're both generally insane people with dumb beliefs and issues that they view wrongly. It's just so glorious to see them annoy each other so much. Post Narcistoru's main screen time, he gets his conclusion episode. He escapes from prison and Secretoru is supposed to retrieve him. But like not because they need him, in fact, they absolutely did not care that he was arrested because none of these people give a flying fuck about each other. It's just that he wasn't supposed to be a risk. Secretoru and Narcistoru have a rather petty and hilarious fight. Because you see. Now they don't have to get along. They are not on the same side. So the hostility is really thriving here. In fact, she manages to capture him, and while fighting the pretty cures (magical girls), hensays some annoying shit and she goes "actually i changed my mind" and shoves him off this rock in order for the monster (they always summon one) to fucking kill him. Like she tries to murder him in cold blood soley because he's annoying and this was entirely inevitable actually. She wants that twink obliterated. They don't bring this up again in the finale when they're both in prison. They just. Kind of hang out now. They've reached a level of tolerance.

And you may think "why do you ship this" LOOK. THEIR INTERACTIONS. ARE SO FUNNY. IT'S JUST. A VERY FUN SHIP. BECAUSE THEY'RE HILARIOUS. The hostility is so great and i think it would be neat if they had some t4t hatesex. It would solve nothing. They mske each other so much worse. But it would be very hot. Also secretoru has a general "can you shut the fuck up" attitude towards him. I don't even technically ship it but i ENJOY the ship.

And yet. I am so alone in this which is insane because i definitely expected ship content for them even before i actually wanted it myself.

But no, of course people ship Narcistoru with actual fifteen year olds. Like so much. And there is ZERO content for the ship with the other Actual Adult that he interacts with on a regular basis and who he has a fantastic and entertaining and INTERESTING dynamic with. So basically, i am not just sad, i am also SO SALTY. They are so insanely rarepair despite being an absolute epic duo. Awesome crackship, 10/10, literally comedy

Obiwan/grievous: Ok so this is a HUGE crackship and some people are not going to agree but like, Obi-Wan is what comes to mind when you think of the jedi and Grievous hates the jedi as a whole because he believes them to the cause of his mutilation and the suffering of his people, but the jedi are not the ones who did this. Grievous is a pawn in the game of the sith and he doesn't realize that his mind has been altered against his wishes or that he will be desposed of as soon as the war ends. Obi-Wan is a compassionate man and is able to consistently go toe to toe with Grievous, making him a rival Grievous can't help but respect in a weird way (his people are warriors, for all we know, fighting could be a method of flirting to his people yaknow? And obiwan genuienly flirts as a way to throw off his enemies, think of the comedic potential if Obi-Wan didnt realize how MUCH hes been a flirt or if Grevious acctualy gets flustered by it because obiwan is such a competent fighter and IF ONLY HE WASNT THE ENEMY-) If Obi-Wan knew what happened he would have tried to make amends and help his people, and if Grievous learned that it was Dooku (a former jedi turned sith) who turned him into a monster against his will, he'd probably be willing to team up with Obi-Wan to bring down Dooku and the Sith plans for Galactic domination to avenge and to protect his people, and they would be an absolute powerhouse since they are already familiar with eachothers way of fighting and from a writers point of view its filled with so much potential angst and drama, and hijinks, and even enhances the plot and creates parallels between the two that the franchise has never bothered to make and it has so much potential even if they don't fall in love they could be really good friends/partners/allies and if order 66 goes as planned they would be badass rebels its such an overlooked possible dynamic PLEASE 🥺

Nightmare Polycule: The cursed creation of like. 4 people on a niche fandom discord. Polycule consisting of pretty much every adult character in the series. It's awful and somehow the best thing ever. The potential for both crack and angst is unmatched. The divorced parents energy is OFF THE CHARTS. Marcia realizes she is a morosexual and has a crisis about it. Gringe confronts his prejudices by falling for a no-good wizard. Jillie Djinn is Marcia's ex and also dead and also GHOSTING ON HER COUCH which makes it very hard to bring her boyfriends over. Marcellus tries to be dramatic about the fleetingness of human life (except his) and gets made fun of until he confronts his trauma instead. Sarah and Mrs Gringe are having tea and getting a break from the drama.

I continue to be very autistic for my own OC, so here's some headcanons and silly stuff regarding Winifred's feelings and relationships with other Genshin characters :3

Tartaglia

COME ON YOU ALREADY KNOW I HAD TO START WITH MY LITERAL FAVORITE CHARACTER AND MAKE HIM INTEGRAL TO WINIFRED'S STORY

Oh their relationship is very complicated indeed, enemies to lovers type deal

Actually more like friends to crushes to betrayal to Winifred being scared shitless of him for awhile while he tries to charm his way back into her heart type deal

Okay but before all of that, they were joined at the hip for the majority of Winifred's stay in Liyue during the whole Morax murder situation

Winifred definitely didn't trust him at first, but his strange personality absolutely won her over very quickly

Low-key she was too blinded by her crush to realize how sketchy he actually was

But that's okay because he ended up really liking her back on accident

This man spoiled her while they were in Liyue. Where do you think she got the silk flower from?

HE JUST KEPT BUYING HER SNACKS CAN YOU BLAME HER FOR FALLING FOR HIM????

His nickname for her is "Stormy" and while she hates that nickname now, she'd low-key give anything to hear it in an endearing way again

Tartaglia being Tartaglia, he absolutely used that nickname against her when they fought in the Golden House

But Tartaglia being Tartaglia, battle is a weirdly intimate thing for him and though betraying Winifred hurt a little bit for him, he's trying so hard to understand the pain it caused her so he can make things right again

He keeps writing her letters and addressing her as "Stormy" in them, and sending her snacks from Snezhnaya HE'S TRYING OKAY??

She'd never admit it, but she misses his scarf. She'd always try to steal it to wear it when they were in Liyue

She has a habit of wagging her tail when she's happy or blushing, and because she wears a fricking bell on the end of her tail, her crush on him was far from subtle

But that's okay because he finds the tail wagging to be cute

KAEYA AND WINIFRED ARE BESTIES OKAY

She doesn't make the best drinking partner thanks to her low tolerance, but that does not stop her from trying to one up Kaeya every time

She just keeps falling over after like 2 drinks and Kaeya finds it absolutely hilarious

Kaeya is Winifred's mentor, but seriously, you would never be able to guess with how much they just hang out and drink together like besties

She actually used to have a big ass crush on Kaeya before she met Tartaglia because UGH

UNREQUITED LOVE Y'ALL

He loves her in his own way, just not romantically

But that's okay, she got over her crush and is just thankful to have him in her life

No but seriously, these two would die for one another

He's actually extremely protective of her, especially after the Liyue shenanigans

Sort of a "Anything you do to her, I'll do to you" type thing

Meanwhile Winifred is just adorable trying to be a little mini Kaeya

Even though she uses a polearm, she tries to mimic Kaeya's movements with a sword in combat

It's adorable because she also tries to mimic his posture and poses to look intimidating

BUT SHE'S TINY AND HE KEEPS USING HER AS AN ARMREST HELP

One of her favorite things is stargazing with Bennett, Razor, and Fischl, and Kaeya will do his best to join them if his knightly duties allow him the time to do so

And of course, these two are a dynamic duo when it comes to messing with Diluc

He also has a nickname for her, "Winnie," and she hates it

Seriously, she tries to jump him every time he calls her that

Bennett, Razor, and Fischl

Oh no, these guys are fun

Winifred would kill everyone in Teyvat for these three, she loves them to pieces

She was brought into the Guild at a young age, a few years older than Bennett, so they bonded HARD

She does not care for whatever unluckiness Bennett is cursed with, she will join him on any adventure at any time

THAT IS BASICALLY HER ADOPTIVE BROTHER SHE ADORES HIM AND WANTS TO PROTECT HIM

SHE LITERALLY WEARS A YELLOW BANDANA AROUND HER TAIL LIKE THE ONE BENNETT HAS ON HIS ARM

jeonghan & scoups: boring ass mother/father of the group dynamic that actually kills off the insane and absolutely hilarious bickering and biting at each other's heels they actually do. also i am generally against the whole 'parents of the group' bs but whateverrr people are blind to it. this is such low hanging fruit and unimaginative to a fault and i am opposed to anything as trivially easy as government assigned fan service of the most ancient calibre. we could reinvent the wheel here, especially for jeonghan, but the fans won't ever let that happen.

hoshi & woozi: the bane of my existence considering there is zero (and i mean in the negatives) romantic or sexual chemistry between them, there is no man straighter in this group than lee jihoon and while their hot-and-cold thing can be funny, i prefer their genuine friendship over all the fanservice, and i hate how people instinctively pair them and ignore wonwoo and jun for them. also their entire fanbase is so annoying, i need them to shut up and give me some peace.

mingyu & wonwoo: the second bane of my existence and a duo i need to die in a metaphorical fire when it comes to svt promo etc. i think they are fun as friends but i do Not need them shoved down my throat at every point. case and point to what i said in the ask about mingyu and jun - i think out of the 3/3 tall guys line-up in svt, mingyu and wonwoo have the most boring dynamic and don't bring anything to the conversation. they are conventionally attractive and extremely masc presenting, so of course pledis pushes them for fan service until the cows come home.

china line: i mean they do have the sauce but i feel like minghao has always been hot and cold with jun, which happens naturally when the only other person from home in your vicinity for like 15 years is someone vastly different to who you are. i prefer them promoting solo in china tho especially and i think it is to this day hilaruous that people act like they were super close during cyzj when it couldn't be further from the truth. girl jun had more chemistry with half the cast than he had with minghao.

vernon & seungkwan: the most pushed and overhyped government ship of the group lbr. you want someone to do the straight man (not innuendo but like personality wise) for seungkwan? mingyu is right there, so is scoups. i think they riff off of seungkwan's on-stage personality and entertainer qualities five hundred times over and better. boogyu especially is actually funny and has great potential. there's a reason seungkwan and mingyu always hit up amazing saturday every promo cycle lmao.

scoups and woozi: this died circa 2019 and i am glad it did. never bring it back. they are great within the leader line but that was that. i am actually glad pledis retired this shtick, though they begrudgingly made scoups & jeonghan and soonhoon happen instead. we lost and then we lost some more.

mingyu & minghao: another unimaginative, uninspiring offering to appeal to the masses. never have there been less touch points, less interest, and less panache in a basic ass masculine dude next to vaguely more feminine looking dude. it's basically the first offering of the mingyu & jeonghan dynamic before people realised they could market that much better domestically. also it baffles me how this took off when it is very obvious that dk and minghao are way closer? why not play off of what is already there. the fan service and skinship classes of the 3rd gen never covered ingenuity i fear.

Yada Yada redeeming Jacob & making him more of what he could've been. Like I still think Jacob would sabotage the van in my Canon AU but it's slightly different reasoning. Maybe he'd do it to have more with Eden & others or maybe he wants to impress Eden so he accidentally breaks the van. Satisfying closure for his character arc you know?

Like his smile is so goofy but I love it so much?? It lights him up so well and I'm so obsessed like despite everything and all the teasing he can still smile around other counselors and just that's so precious and so good to me.

Jacob would actually mimic Eden so hilariously at times like there's this vine where someone's looking for lost item and puts their hands on their boobs & next person does it too & then guy does it and I just think that's Eden Abi and Jacob. Honestly add Dylan too. Like Jacob is so goofy at times, it balances how serious Eden/I am and is, sure I'll roll my eyes at him or shield my eyes if he does particularly sexual dance but it's still fun & it cheers me up.

But like he isn't ''merely¨ just goofy dude he has deep emotions & cares immensely for those he considers friends. He clearly needs some space to actually be more than just goofy dude & someone to open up to & be vulnerable and the counselors ain't it.

I just want to hang out with him in Hackett's Quarry and just ruffle his hair and see him smile at me. i think that one of my all time favorite OCS might be my dangan oc; Kristabelle Nakanishi

I've been roleplaying for like years now, but we first got into Danganronpa roleplays in like 2021-2022, but it was before I knew anything about it fr (fun facto; Oliver enters fandoms without knowing anything about said fandom, that way they're more like to get more into it by reading into the lore as time progresses)

I'm pretty sure the story was changed around a bit, because we soon started a childhood server, which is where we roleplayed our ocs/characters stories and developed the lore

Kristabelle was traumatized obviously like she's my OC she does NOT get a pass tf

ahe had a younger twin sister, and an older brother, who "died" in that same server, and she also had a girlfriend, who she ran away from because of something she was forced to do

her and her siblings were like test dummies for their father (Oliver stop projecting your daddy issues onto all of your ocNO.) BUT they were also raised assassins at a young age, this adding onto the trauma and abuse for obvious reasons

there was this orphanage that all the kids would go to to hang out, and that's where she met kokichi (and his twin sister, played by the same person), who ended up being her best friend and bonded through the trauma !

there was stitch, mia, sparks, mazuko, charlie/ollie, and kristabelle, as the og original character cast

eventually some bad things happened, and everyone separated, and kristabelle ran away, but not before getting to spend some last times with kokichi, who gave her a matching hairpin to remember each other by

now, this wasn't canon at first, but I had went offline for a bit and came back to the server (killing game) spamming me, like, "KRISTABELLE AND TOGAMI MAKE THEM FOUND FAMILY"

i think we merged killing games in this ⁉️ because we didn't wanna do separate ones for every game + we didn't want to necessarily have us in every game, so we put all three together, and oh my god it was so chaotic in the best way, everything was harder and much more hilarious but like traumatizing too

everyone obviously had like amnesia, except for stitch and Junko, who were the main masterminds ⁉️ so kokichi and kristabelle didn't even recognize each other, sadly

Twisted Wonderland Main Story Scattered Thoughts (Prologue Chapter 17-20)

Okay, so I lied yesterday. You know, like a liar. I really did want to do it first thing in the morning, but you know L I F E had other plans. Did a cool thing today, so that was fun! Now back to the TWST! Is Grim acting as bait? Monster is ready to commit a violence. No, Yuu you can’t be scared! You have a little thing I like to call “Main Character Shield” in which you are not allowed to die. Monster: Be gone, THO- Okay I’ll stop. OMG THE OG DUO MAGIC! Grim and Ace being a power duo, love to see it! Cauldron? Cauldron time? I love cauldron time, Deuce please! YES CAULDRON TIME! Deuce and Cauldron, the best duo ever, move over Ace! Grim, no, no starting up beef! Run run run run runrunrun… IT’S SO PRETTY! That stone is so pretty oh my gosh I want! Something heavier? Yeah, like, TWO cauldrons! YES YES YES HE ACTUALLY DID! CAULDRON SPAM! ALL THE CAULDRONS! Beautiful Deuce, beautiful. DON’T BE MEAN ACE! You could never appreciate the majesty of the cauldron! 

Battle! It pushed off all those cauldrons?! Wow, the dedication. I wonder why it wants the stone so bad? “Then it’s kill or be killed!” Dang Yuu! You know, it occurs to me Grim has been spamming magic left and right and hasn’t gotten a magestone yet… You good buddy? Your blot levels doing okay? Ah, the unlimited turn battle! Those, uh, scared me when I first saw them in an event. Oh, and being able to see the card details mid-battle. OH, I went through half of Phantom Bride not knowing that, it was such a surprise. Wait. Wait. WAIT HANG ON! You can see the enemies spells’ owners?! THIS WHOLE TIME?! I’m gonna cry, that’s a thing?! The strategies I could’ve had in room battles… I had no idea you could see who each spell belonged to. 1000 HP. A’ight, bet. Done. THEY LIVE! Good job sirs, it’s only gonna get worse from here! Aw, they’re so CUTE! Yuu: This smells like friendship. Ok, what is the deal with NRC being so afraid of the F word (friend)? Only Kalim and Silver seem to not be afraid of using the word towards anyone. Ooooo! Okay, so I just found out when you go back in the log for the main story you can hear the dialogue too! That’s nice! Ace considers friendship cliche, um Endless Halloween would like to know your location. Ace: Lessons were learned, et cetera. Heh. Oh my gosh, Grim have you eaten at all today? Black stone… IT WAS AN OVERBLOT MONSTER! I thought it was but the dudes never made that connection so I didn’t think so. I THINK SO AGAIN NOW! I wonder if that was the reason behind the magestone addiction. Someone, put a stone in front of the overblotters’ blot monsters. Oh wait. Oh no, Grim. No. Don’t do it. It smells good? Candy? CANDY? Don’t you dare compare candy to whatever that is. HE ATE IT NOOOOO! And thus starts his addiction to eating random black stones from off the ground. “Spit it out! Out! Bad cat!” I love Yuu, already such a cat owner! So Grim likes the taste of flowers? He should go out with Ruggie sometime so they can eat edible weeds together. Most humans. Emphasis on the most, I can think of at least one human at this school who would in fact eat random stuff they find on the floor. You know, I’m still curious if Riddle and Trey know what Ace and Deuce are doing.

Okay, judging by the fact Crowley said “I would hardly consider them “super old””, implying he takes offense at the comment, the camera is from his era. That’s like when people call flip phones old in front of millennials. Hm, so like 100-150 years old then? Soul? Yes Deuce, that does sound sketchy, I agree. Memories with a capital M. Living pictures! “Soulbond” good question Yuu. Wicked…keen? I’m curious, why does Yuu need to take the pictures? What’s the reason? 

Oooooo, last Chapter! Oh wait wait wait! Okay, so at the end of every book the next dorm gets teased, right? Are they gonna tease Heartslabyul? Grim’s so happy! “Sentient pile of lint” Ace! That got a laugh out of me actually. Wait, do Ace and Deuce know that they share a room? “Those two seem like they’re made for each other” the most iconic TWST duo. FR matches the typical teenage boy energy that Id expect from him so props to them!! Also I’m crying I think because geographically Kyoto and Osaka are south of Tokyo they typically just translate it as a southern accent which is why we got the heavy Texas I’m crying though between just how he sounds plus the fact that I recognize the vas voice from other works that don’t involve and accent

SPONTANEOUS PLANS ARE SOOO FUN omg it was so silly we were in her apartment for sooo long the time literally changed (daylights saving #americacore) i was like wow i can’t believe it’s only 2am!! meanwhile it was actually 3am so by the time i got home to my body it was like 4ish SDFKS but it was definitely worth it we had the best time

my first game was x!! but i got alpha sapphire right after so it’s kind of in the same place in my mind…i’ve never restarted my x game because nostalgia but i’ve restarted alpha sapphire a few times!! agreed the island trials or whatever weren’t as fun as gyms for some reason so i didn’t really enjoy moon or ultra moon that much unfortunately but pearl was cool too!! definitely keep me posted hehe

i feel like i was always lowkey a hater of wattpad but back in the day i used to read on it because i had gone through everything on ao3 and i was desperate LMAOOO the last time i truly read a fic on wattpad was for attack on titan in like 2021 though now i just don’t even bother because i know what quality i can expect and i’d rather spend that time reading an actual book, writing, or (most likely) scrolling through tik tok 😩 but yeah wattpad comments are always crazy i think part of it is that after seeing so many tropey stories on the app they assume all stories will fall into those tropes and don’t bother to stop and think before commenting that maybe that’s actually not the case?? anyways

HELP i lowkey have seen a lot of people starting to like him already ngl half of them don’t deserve my kashimo fic though that one is very unhinged and odd and the plot is kinda fucked up…okay i already tell you the endings for everything i’ve written so i’ll tell you about this one as well HAHA idk how much if any of it you’ve read but basically what you need to know is that the main character’s cursed technique is that she has like. hummingbird powers?? basically if it’s related to hummingbirds or the mythology around them she can do it but only for a limited amount of time (for example at one point she runs from nyc to tokyo including over water in like 30 minutes or something due to her technique because hummingbirds are super fast) and in the present timeline she also has this sword (the sword of syrinx) which helps her focus her technique and lends her energy when she’s running low etc etc but anyways after her technique runs out of energy she enters torpor (which is based on irl hummingbirds’ torpor) where’s she’s basically in a super deep motionless sleep recovering her energy?? and she stays like that until she’s recovered her cursed technique ANYWAYS after haibara’s death and geto’s betrayal (she’s in nanami’s year) she enters a very deep depression (she compares it to a torpor settling over her whole life) because she realizes she has zero purpose in life and she thinks that there might be someone who can help her find it but she doesn’t know who

THEN the culling games start and she comes back (this is when she runs from the east coast of the us to tokyo) and meets kashimo before getting in a fight with him however for obvious reasons she’s exhausted so she eventually gives up and offers him her sword but instead of just being a form of surrender the sword makes her and kashimo remember the past?? since kashimo in this au doesn’t remember why he reincarnated or much about who he used to be…anyways so then we get thrown into the perspective of the first user of the main character’s technique who coincidentally has the same name as the main character!! and it turns out that in this past timeline she was actually selected by the hummingbird deity to be its champion and defeat its mortal enemy ten, who is the lord of the sky and storms and who no one believes in

past y/n is the strongest sorcerer of her time barring kashimo and kashimo is OBSESSED with this fact. all he wants is to fight and kill her (fairly, he’s not about to kill her in cold blood because it doesn’t prove anything) and he even threatens the big three clans (she is engaged to gojo’s ancestor) so she has to intervene and tells him that she’ll fight him just as soon as she defeats ten, which makes him be like ok i’ll help you with that!! she unlocks the vision of the hummingbird based on a story she reads in a book given to her by the man who gave her to the gojos after her parents’ death (the man is kenjaku) and is able to find ten in a dream, realizing that he resides in a domain (he’s implied to be another disaster curse kinda like jogo) and challenges him to a fight, after which she goes and finds kashimo and he takes her to his childhood “friend” because the friend (who i made up but is named daisuke) can forge the best weapons (he forged kashimo’s staff)…daisuke agrees but under the condition that y/n erases him from history completely and finds a girl that he and kashimo used to know who ran away one day and they never saw again

y/n and kashimo set off in search of the girl and we get a reveal of kashimo’s past where it’s seen that he was orphaned at a young age and saved by the gojos but instead of being taken in like y/n was he was taken to an orphanage run by a woman who absolutely hated children and was basically neglected for his entire life (this is where he met daisuke and the two became friends as well as where daisuke taught kashimo about sorcery and stuff) eventually one day daisuke and kashimo sneak out to a village using daisuke’s technique (which allows him and anyone he includes to become invisible) and there they see y/n passing by in a procession with the gojos and kashimo is IMMEDIATELY convinced that he needs to fight her and if he cannot defeat her as he is now he will become someone who can…essentially defeating her becomes his purpose for living and becoming as strong as he has

then some stuff happens and it’s revealed that before she can fight ten y/n has to defeat his twelve beasts (it’s never outright stated but the twelve beasts are the animals of the japanese zodiac!! to fit w the sky theme) so while they continue on this journey to find the girl she fights and kills a few of them…she meets kenjaku at one point and he tells her that he saved her when she was a kid in exchange for her father’s life (as in he became a reincarnated sorcerer) before telling her that he can make the same deal with her and give her what she most desires (a life without the constraints of the hummingbird and ten) she basically tells him to fuck off though and he does so but says she’ll need him eventually…anyways then she and kashimo eventually find the girl (who is none other than tullia ofc) locked in an attic and they managed to rescue her before tullia and kashimo team up to kill the lady who ran the orphanage and sold tullia to the man who hurt her ☝🏻 meanwhile y/n continues to fight more of the beasts but it’s revealed that if she doesn’t get a proper sword she’s in trouble because the amounts of cursed energy she’s using to fight the beasts cannot be handled by a normal weapon (hence why she needs one of daisuke’s swords) so they return to daisuke and he forges the sword of syrinx for her!! she fights off the rest of the beasts in succession (kashimo is in and out of the story at this point) before she defeats the final one and is granted access to ten’s domain which is a field with a massive tornado in it. she tells kashimo that she’s going to fight ten and he makes her promise to fight him afterwards which she agrees to and she tells him to find her once the domain collapses

she gets to the domain and realizes that the reason why ten’s voice always seemed to come from nowhere is because the tornado itself is ten; there’s a whole fight sequence and she’s holding her own but obviously struggling and eventually she’s on her last legs before she remembers a story that will basically put her in an eternal torpor/kill her if she uses it however it’s what she was made for — to defeat ten — so she calls on the story where the hummingbird is the sun in disguise and even though the sword of syrinx breaks in the process she manages to exorcise ten before falling into torpor. ten’s domain collapses and kashimo finds her and thinks she’s dead before realizing it’s just the torpor; using his electricity basically as a defibrillator he shocks her back awake but it’s way too late and she’s barely able to stay up; she tells him about kenjaku and tells him to reincarnate and face off against someone even stronger than her, like sukuna, and also asks him to fix the sword of syrinx for her because she can’t bear the thought of it being ruined. kashimo says he will and then asks what will happen to her; she says she isn’t sure but right before she dies she is prompted to use her technique one final time, this time in the form of the “reincarnation of the hummingbird” (as hummingbirds symbolize reincarnation) and so her heart transforms into a hummingbird and she is reincarnated

returning to the present, the current y/n realizes that all of this has transpired between her past life and kashimo, but while kashimo is still the same person, she wasn’t reborn with all of her memories and she’s actually entirely different person now, so she can’t be with him, even though she suspects that her past life was in love with kashimo despite kashimo never outright reciprocating. before the final confrontation with sukuna happens, kashimo reveals to current y/n that the reason why the sword of syrinx is so strong is that (in keeping with jjk nonsense) in order to reforge the steel, he had daisuke smelt past y/n’s body (specifically her bones) into it, making it much stronger and imbuing residuals of her technique and spirit into it (hence why it only works for her and is so helpful to her). kashimo then goes to fight sukuna as he wished and dies, whereupon y/n retrieves his body and once again reforges the sword of syrinx so that whatever is left of him can be whatever is left of her past life; once the sword is done, she takes it and leaves japan behind for good. one of the students or someone asks what she will do now and she says she will do nothing because that is what she reincarnated for — to have no purpose except finding happiness

that’s the end of y/n’s story, but then we return to the past and see kashimo meeting with kenjaku. kenjaku seems to pity kashimo and mourns y/n’s loss (mostly because now he won’t get to have her in the culling games) but before he can say anything kashimo tells him that he knows that kenjaku can give him another chance at life. kenjaku warns him that there will be stipulations, but kashimo says that he doesn’t care, because (this is the last line) “there is still someone left that he has to fight” — basically, he reincarnated for the chance to see y/n again, just because he trusted that she would somehow come back even though there was no reason for her to

LMAOOOO THAT WAS A LOT to be fair there was a lot of context needed for me to explain the ending considering only the first third of the story alone is 80k words that one is another doozy but yeah basically throughout the entire story “fighting” and “killing” are meant to represent the love that kashimo feels for y/n?? like he is genuinely MADLY in love with her but as someone who’s only ever loved fighting and feeling powerful he equates that feeling with wanting to kill her hence why he says the most INSANE things to her absolutely casually…killing her is just the only way he understands how to love her 😭 y/n is no better either there’s an entire sequence in the beginning of one of the chapters in her past life that’s describing her dreaming of “fighting kashimo” but those dreams are in fact meant to represent uhhh. sex dreams. LMAO. let me include a screenshot so you can see what i mean because it’s one of those things that makes ZERO sense until you read it

so as you can see the themes in this one are insane and weird and probably would be misinterpreted by a larger audience SKDJHF kashimo and reader are very dear to me in all their insanity because the way they love one another is unparalleled and the angst is off the charts like this story puts everything i have ever written to SHAME LMAOO long story short yeah i feel like kashimo will definitely blow up but do i want him to?? NO

SHIDOU PLEASE PLEASEEE omg actually speaking of shidou i was talking to jeirin about this but i am once again fascinated by the karasu x shidou dynamic there is something so puzzling about it…like why is karasu completely unafraid of him?? not just in the additional time for s2e1 but literally all of their interactions karasu is either shit talking shidou or bossing him around (like in bm vs pxg right after kaiser scores and shidou…is being shidou…karasu literally tells shidou to stfu and listen to his plan) which is crazy enough but what’s even crazier is shidou actually listens to him??? which is very out of character for him lowkey he always beefs with people who try to tell him what to do (aka rin) but when it comes to karasu he’s just like “ok” and does it?? also shidou is known for hyping everyone up during games but he was EXTRAAA with it when karasu scored on them in third selection LMAOAOAO my conclusion is that they somehow bonded over hair wax and being basically the same exact age (shidou is like a month older or smth) and karasu is probably shidou’s only actual friend (not counting wtvr tf he has going on with sae) HAHAH now does karasu consider shidou to be HIS friend?? absolutely not…i hope we get to see more of them as a duo though they’re kinda funny together actually

Alright! Time to go on a limb here then!

1) what’s a Hot Take you have about your f/o?

Alright. The hottest take I've got for Tale of Vesperia is... that LeBlanc and Co. are hands down the BEST characters! And it is a SHAME that I never see anything about them! Like, okay. Story time.

Tales of Vesperia was me and my brother's first Tales game. All we knew was it was a jRPG that had co-op. So we started up the game without any expectations. And not long into it, before our first battle, we saw THIS.

such a face, after some pretty average (no offense, Yuri) looking anime/jRPG characters, my brother and I just had to pause the game and laugh. We were delighted by this duo's appearance. The tall and short one, a classic pair for media.

we just KNEW the game was gonna be good once we met them! They're both (and LeBlanc when we meet him) hilarious, and the fact that they go above and beyond they're duties, and end up being true knights and very good people. Hands down the best characters. THEY DESERVE MORE RECOGNITION AS BEST CHARACTERS

(Also, does anyone else question how the heck they got Raven and themselves to the Heracles before the group who had a fricken DRAGON to fly on! Especially considering when the main cast left, they had to dig the man out of the ruins first. Like, All I imagine is they're experts at rowing in a little rowboat. That's a second hot take I've got. They've got a rowboat and are faster than a speedboat.)

Another hot take I suppose is... that I don't think Tales of Symphonia is that great. It's fine, I suppose, and matches other tales games in what it offers. But for some reason I just didn't care for its story and the character interactions. They didn't feel as together and bouncing off one another as other groups in other games do. It's on the bottom of my Tales of list, and considering I've played 6 of them (Vesperia, Berseria, Zesteria, Symphonia, and Xillia 1 and 2), and watched 2 of the anime (Zesteria the X and Abyss), I find it odd that one of the 'best' titles people say is one I liked far less than others. The characters just didn't make me feel like the others do.

So, I kinda answered this one broadly here, so... yeah. I'm gonna be crazy and grab another question to answer! Mwahaha!

10) how did you feel when you realized “oh of course i had to like That Character”?

So. One of my favorite stories to share about me irl falling for Raven, and I'm sure I've told it many a time before. BUT I'm still baffled by how I fell in love with him!

Cause I didn't even notice him in the opening animation. He was just another character. I wasn't looking for live, but anticipated I may find a favorite for the length of the game. And I decided "that guy looks cool and kinda pretty. I bet I'll like him!" When I saw who I'd learn much later was Yeager. Oh the irony.

So we started the game, and I thought nothing of the few times Raven popped up and did the group dirty. And when he joined the party for the first time, I saw he had a bow and figured I would try him out. Before that, I was just kinda playing as Yuri, and it was okay.

I didn't realize I was falling in love right away. He was funny, but very much not my type. And as I slowly grew more fond of him and got some less than pure thoughts, I was actually put off by it all. I was falling it love the longer we played. I loved playing as him, and was hanging on every word he spoke, and I wondered what secrets he was hiding.

Then he left, and Estelle disappeared with him. I was worried and had a bad feeling at him possibly betraying the group. And him being revealed as Captain Schwann gave me... *ahem* mixed feelings. Suddenly, that serious gaze and beautiful hair that actually was my usual type was there, and was quite attractive. But it was also concerning because of how different he was to the Raven I had finally admitted to myself I maybe fell in love with.

And then.

I thought he died.

I fully accepted that this game could be cruel enough to kill one of our main characters, and it HURT. So to my joyful surprise that he was alive, any hint of doubt about loving him was gone at that moment.

So that's the long tale of me falling for the old man. It was unexpected, but he's now the most important man in my life, my beloved.
