Okay, we'll, there's only one game I've made that's actually done. The others are, uh... Not so much. But they still run!

[They send over a couple of their games as files: There's "snake jump," an incredibly barebones doodle jump clone and the only complete game, "Destroy the city as a snake 3," a choppy 3D destruction game with worryingly wonky physics, and "slither princess 7 (remake)," which appears to be some sort of... attempt at an RPG game. All three games are quite the pieces of work under the hood... "If-else" stacks and unoptimized models as far as the eye can see... Is that a 20k polygon toothbrush?!]

These are my best ones so far!! Not exactly sentient AI, but they're playable! Uhm, never actually tested em on another computer, though...

Thinking about the King’s Jubilee special of 2003,

which featured Every Ultra they had a suit for at the time, an absurd amount of rap music, an Ultraman hip-hop dance troup, and Zearth’s hip-hop son, B-Boy Zearth Junior. He looks like this.

Literally I have difficulty watching this because this might be the single piece of ultra content that delivers the most psychic damage to me. It’s just. It’s absurd, it’s a musical, it revels in its shamelessness—or at least I think it does?

Just gathering screenshots I feel my soul deteriorating. For the curious and foolhardy, here’s a link to the video. No, there are no subtitles; no, you won’t need them. CONTENT WARNING: flashing lights and images, absurdity.

I will go briefly through each song, to give you an idea:

Song 0, 2:27 - Meet the performers

A dance/rap(?) group made of kaiju, aliens, and maybe bedazzled ultras? Or maybe they’re just dressed up as Ultras, the eyes are dark and they’re slightly Off? Maybe the announcer actually says, I think the general consensus is that they’re not true Ultras, but some other kind of alien cosplaying as ultras to…honor them? Or at least play as them for the purposes of the “narrative” they’re about to play out.

It’s also an incredibly large cast of performers. We’re just starting, we’re barely three minutes in.

Song 1, 3:15 - four-man hip-hop dance

There are no words I can possibly use to match the actual experience of watching this. I think it’s the fact that I can’t tell if this is satire, or if they’re playing it completely straight. They never tell us. Or maybe they do, I don’t speak Ultra.

Imagine if you will, any late 90s rap. Then imagine the music video for it. But filmed as if it’s a live stage performance, but also everyone is a trained gymnast and we get synchronized flips with Zearth Funkeygroove, Justice Pointer, Gaia Electric, and Tiga Spinning.

Song 2, 4:14, Kaiju Team’s turn

Now that I’m watching this, I think it’s framed as a dance competition? Where the kaiju and “ultra” teams alternate songs, like a rap battle with performances?

Anyway this song starts with an audio sample from, of all things, the sound Ultraman’s timer makes when he’s in mortal peril. This audio blinks sporadically throughout the song, hitting that sweet spot right between “huh I guess it’s just playing at the beginning, huh” and “actually using it as a sample/carrying any meaning.” Maybe the weird timing of the audio has significance with the JP lyrics, but I doubt it. The timer blinking tempo doesn’t quite sync up with the tempo of the actual music.

While the NotUltra’s solo performance had heavy use of flips, the kaiju team impliments a lot of floor work. Lotta breakdancing, if the camera cuts slowed down enough for me to catch most of the moves. Honestly the dancing throughout is very solid overall, with, again, the big caveat being the bewildering editing choices.

Also I think the ultras in the audience are moshing? Maybe I don’t know what moshing is. Watching this, I don’t think I know what anything is anymore.

Song 3, 5:21 - Kaiju Team, or the “Sexy Dance Time, Check It Out” one.

I…wish I were making this up. This one stars Dada Sexy (his [their?] actual name), alongside a feminine-coded alien I only later learned was Lady Benzene Hypnotic. At this point I wonder whether this is better watched high, or if this is already making me high.

The groove to this one starts notably different, but like…if the Cha Cha Slide tried to be steamy. And no I didn’t grab a screenshot mid-frame-shift, this part is literally shot like this. It goes on for several seconds. They wanted it to look like this.

Oh and the Not-Ultras are here too. Seven Shuffle is one of them. Do with that what you will.

The dancing itself is definitively less hip-hop and more…interpretative dance? I absolutely believe that this is an alien party, because nothing about this presents as remotely normal or human.

Partway through, a green screen cape (Kings?) flies through the screen. I can’t bring myself to care. Every Ultra in the audience is Very into it.

Then about halfway through they switch it back to…hip-hop? I think? It still has multiple Interpretive Dance elements to it. The Not-Ultras bedazzled suits have neon lights on them, btw, I think you should know that.

And yes, by the end, they have the (male) narrator's voice chanting variations of “oh, sexy” in a way that makes me feel. vEry uncomfortable and I wish I could turn back time. I can only hope that the writers truly, legitimately didn’t know what that word actually meant in English, or what it implied if you sing it with the breathy energy they put into this number.

Benzene Hypnotic lets out an alien scream/trill at the end of the song, and we cut to the Ultra audience applauding at what a fun song that was. I want to go home.

7:43 - The Kids Come And Do a lil dance!

This next song is the intermission, a little ditty sung by and danced to by children. One of whom is B-Boy Zearth Jr. Zearth has a child. I barely notice; I’m still reeling from Sexy Dance.

This song, inexplicably, also has the “Dying Ultra’s color timer” sound. It actually appears more here than in the “villain” song. The song itself is…I think cute and charming? It’s hard to tell, my eyes are still glazed over. The kids do a pirouette or a cartwheel or something. The song ends, the announcer praises how super kawaii the performance was, I get a drink.

9:03 - Actual Dance Battle

This one has Justice Pointer, Agul Boogiedown, and I think Dyna Rocksteady (Might be Gaia Electric; his head is weird so I can’t tell), in a dance battle against three Kaiju Team members. This one’s probably my favorite, it sums up the weirdest parts of this while also having some legit solid dance moves. That and since it’s turn-based, we get lots of cool freeze-poses. Plus Agul Boogiedown throws up some gangsta peace signs, which is deeply funny after watching how edgy he is in his show.

The rap song itself appears to also be framed as a rap-battle? I think? My JP is limited but each team’s bar of music seems to be lightheartedly dissing the other/pumping themselves up. Everyone ends the battle by doing the splits on the floor, which is what my head’s gonna do in a minute.

10:42 - A Ballet Number

What’s that? You wanted this to make less sense? No? Well that’s okay, this is basically a ballet number (??????), with violin and slow swaying from the crowd. Zearth Funky Groove is dancing ballet with Lady Benzene Hypnotic. It’s actually…you know what, this is kinda nice. It’s a nice break from—NOPE ITS HIP-HOP AGAIN, LADS

But like a…flamenco (I think?) influenced hip-hop. This song is actually really interesting in terms of merging VERY different influences. Definitely a musical style inspired by the carribian or one of the Romance languages, but asking me to search my mind for factual information while watching this is like asking a boxer to do trigonometry mid-match.

The announcer tells the crowd to grab your sweetheart and dance with them. Tiga bows before Camearra and offers to dance (she graciously accepts). A Daadaa propositions Seven to dance, which seems to catch him off-guard in a bad way. Ultra Father offers his wife his hand, though they don’t properly dance, they just hold hands and sway to the music. Incidentally, Yullian and 80 are present and clearly went together, but they don’t couple up for this dance (that we see).

This doesn’t fit anywhere, but Zoffy is REALLY into the music. Like I’ve never seen him this enthusiastic for anything before. It's really sweet honestly. He’s dancing alone but is clearly more than happy that way.

12:22 - Final Dance

I have trouble articulating exactly what happens in this segment. Clearly it’s framed as a final battle, but those interpretive dance bits are still mixed with the hip-hop. As before, the dancing itself is quite good, if you like incredibly 90’s hip-hop dancing and breakdancing. It’s definitely the most floorwork-heavy of any of the songs.

The camera-work, while strange but functional before, takes a turn even further into the surreal. Some of the camera cuts are so rapid you’d think it was a stage-3 marvel movie; in places it gets to about 5 cuts per second. It will also cut not only between angles on the same person mid-action, but to random other shots, like the crowd of ultras, or a different dancer, or someone unrelated doing half a flip before cutting back again.

I think this must be the point in production where someone discovered you could rotate a camera, because suddenly multiple flips or dance moves are filmed with the camera spinning—presumably to follow the movement, but not quite synchronized and there’s no way we’re doing another take.

At the climax of the song, I can only assume Ultra Father saw some risk to the child-dancers; the music gets tense, and the kaiju-dancers close in around the kids, who cower back-to-back. Ultra Father exchanges an urgent glance with his wife, and together they SHOOT A PULSE OF ENERGY AT THE PERFORMERS ON STAGE.

Which puts everyone on an acid trip. Or I think it does? The colors turn negative/green/weird, and then all the adult-coded performers drop to their knees in a clearly rehearsed part of the dance.

I’m losing my mind. What was this? Was this choreographed or not? Was Ken supposed to do that? I can only think he must have, but then why did his body language radiate legitimate fear for the children’s safety? Why have the Ultra Parents do that part, isn’t this King’s party?? What am I going to do with the avocado I bought two days ago and is gonna go bad??

Not labeling this as a separate song, because the last one never truly ended. But this is clearly the epilogue of the “fight”; the ultras do elaborate secret handshakes with the aliens and monsters, indicating everything’s A-OK now. I will never be A-OK again. The announcer is chanting “happy," though I think he’s repeating the last syllable a bit too much. I don't think they thought through what yelling "HAPPY-PEE" would actually mean in English.

The experience ends with King’s greenscreen cape floating down and King materializes onstage between the two child performers. He then levatates back up, which is the most normal thing to happen this whole time. He says something in English that sounds like maybe “Happy Mercy?” Messy? Blessing?

After the third listen, I realized he’s saying Happy Birthday. It’s his birthday. He’s saying it to himself. The crowd wildly applauds his self-congratulation and repeats the English phrase, and King makes his bows. My splintered psyche notices that the foley-work on his cape movement is very nice.

The end closes out with what I at first think is a hip-hop version of Dyna’s opening theme. I am wrong. They start a weirdly paced hip-hop beat with Cosmos’s “Something You Can Do” vocals. They loop the opening line twice, then go back to rap.

The announcer delightedly cries in English “See you NEXT YEAR!”

I take this as a threat.

anti LO anon opinions

(1) Hot take: Anyone can make a comic where the characters are different colors and have a lineless style. I feel like because of how popular it got, if you even try to do something with monocolor schemes, LO fans will think you're copying.It's a lot easier to make characters one color and a completely valid way of making art/comics. No one owns a lineless art or monocolors tho.I'd love to see comics that use colors like LO does but in a way that makes more sense.

(2) R.. Rachel knows Demeters a fertility goddess- right??? She knows that there's like a billion fertility goddesses in greek mythology right?!

(3) LO Ouranos' design is just confirming once again Smythe can only think of these gods in a Abrahamic fashion instead of their actual ancient context and society. That's why the Maidens are seen as regressive prudes, why there's such an emphasis on "purity", why men hold more power/status, why Minthe, who is the evil lustful woman compared to the good virginal Persephone, is designed literally like a devil/succubus, why sex outside of marriage/several partners is seen as bad, the list goes on.

(4) So why does Ouranos have 6 eyes in the recent chapter? Does it signify he will have 6 sons (plus 6 daughters, but unlikely the daughters are included) who will eventually overthrow him?

I noticed that both Gaia and Persephone both have hair that sometimes look like leaves, so I guess both Hades and Ouranos have a thing for women who will never "Leaf" them (I'm a language major, sorry for my weird puns)

PS, a friend of mine joked that "if Ouranos has 6 eyeballs, does this mean he also have 6 male reproductive organs? 😏" (And also Aphrodite was born from the Sea foam of Ouranos bits and pieces so...)

(5) Read the latest LO chapter, and they sure did my favorite goddess Demeter dirty by making her an overdramatic laughing stock and a quacky (whacky) mother to boot.

I think it's very disrespectful to turn a mythological wonderful loving mother who has a very healthy mother-daughter relationship with her children (Persephone) and a very dedicated and responsible Godess who is in charge of the four seasons be reduced to a laughingstock and a boss whose employees throw a party/sleaze around when she's not at work.

(6) Obviously Demeter and co. are being drawn this way in preparation for everyone to deal with Henson Co. adapting it. they only deal with childish designs like that (barring the gross puppets they like to do too. prepare LO to be full of fart and barf jokes) and it'll be much easier for them to design if the comic does the same (this is sarcasm btw. It's more likely RS has just gotten lazy and know they could spit on paper and the fandom will eat it up. why put effort into your work, right?)

(7) The only unique design LO ever does is random splotches of color, white lines for scars, pointy ears, and extra eyes, and that's at the absolute most. You could say Punderworld also suffers some same faces (especially the women) but you can also tell who is who by their outfits, props, and variations in features.

(8) This is a minor complaint but LO Hecate's design is so ugly 😭she looks like an edgy moodboard take on Edna Mode. She's supposed to be this badass witch yet looks just as boringly business as everyone else. Also wasn't she not involved with Hades until after Persephone is married? Wasn't she Persephone's companion first in myth? Why is she Hades' best friend instead and only interacted with Persephone for a study abroad semester?

(9) God, the pilot line in LO is so stupid. Are they telling us fertility goddesses are the only source of power to try and be like HAHA SEE PERSEPHONE DOESNT NEED HADES! HE NEEDS HER! Because 1) that means it’s setting up HADES to take over olympus/overthrow Zeus which is so!!! Ugh!!! Why are you messing with literal religion now?! Hades is a shit king in the underworld but she seems to want him as the head one too?! But also 2) shouldnt DEMETER be the most powerful and desired godess then? Seeing as she’s literally the fertility godess?? Why did Smythe literally skip over her to make Persephone more special?

Metis was included despite no fertility traits but the literal goddess who controls nature and the earth ISNT? How does that work?! Demeter literally made Persephone all by herself in comic but shes not in this special lineup? Not to mention it once again is making the women props for men and their games! Cant we just read a stupid romance without it being a shallow political game too?

Persephone is being used as a literal political chip and whoever “gets” her is now, essentially, holding the nuclear codes and can overthrow whoever they want.  we know it’ll be Hades, so he’s not only getting a super fertile wife to give him babies, he’s also getting a wife who never questions him, who does whatever he wants, and is now his tool to literally rule everything if he wants, which who knows, he might do so poor Hera is free of her loveless marriage because he’s just SO caring like that. Also, Apollo never wanted to overthrow Zeus?! Athena, Hera, and Poseidon did! 

Does she know this is a romance comic and the jumping between stupid romance and earth-ending drama does not mesh well? God I’m mad. This is so stupid. The damn Disney movie showed more respect than this.

Sheidheda Should Have Been A Teenager

Okay, so hear me out, cause I really feel like this would have made his storyline more interesting, more nuanced, and more thematically resonant. 

We first hear about Sheidheda from Gaia (a flame-keeper) as the “dark commander” who killed three of his flame-keepers before being killed by his fourth. And that’s really all the evidence Gaia gives for why this commander was evil. But from what we see of the flame-keepers... they do not have the nightblood novitiates or the commanders interests at heart and are in fact a danger to them. From what we see in season 3, for example, the nightblood novitiates seem to only have Titus and Lexa as guardians/teachers/adult figures in their lives- and Titus (and Lexa but we’re talking about flame-keepers), besides essentially raising these children for the slaughter, was emotionally distant/unequipped to raise a bunch of kids (”love is weakness”) and played favorites- in which kid he wanted to live and kill all the others (as Luna says about Lexa being Titus’ favorite and what Lexa says about Aden being commander after her (in front of the other kids, even) supports this as just a thing that the people surrounding the nightblood kids did). And then Titus kills Lexa (unintentionally, but still he killed her while he was trying to control and manipulate her). And I feel like it’s worth noting that the whole system revolves around child commanders that aren’t expected to last long, with other (younger and more pliable children) in the wings should the they die- this is the perfect system for allowing (head?) flame-keepers to discretely (or not so discretely, see Sheidheda) do away with commanders that they deem too troublesome- that don’t follow their advice or, like Lexa, try to change traditions. And then the flame-keepers are still alive and institutionally powerful enough to control the narrative of the dead commander’s legacy.

So it’s easy to Sheidheda as having been made a commander as a child (say the same age as Madi, even), who’s just been forced to kill the children he grew up with to survive. And now, he’s friendless, surrounded by people watching with hawk eyes for weakness, with only a flame-keeper as an ally. A flame-keeper who’s emotionally distant (probably neglectful), who probably views Sheidheda as replaceable, maybe even would have preferred another child as commander and now resents Sheidheda for it. (And with how much power the flame-keepers have, especially over the nightblood children; well who would have stopped the flame-keeper if they were outright abusive). It’s to see how Sheidheda would see violence as the only way to survive (that is after all how he’s commander and his classmates are dead) and resents his flame-keeper or feel like his flame-keeper is a danger to him. So he kills his flame-keeper. And the next flame-keeper distrusts Sheidheda and Sheidheda distrusts the flame-keeper and eventually murders this flame-keeper, too. And so on, until the fourth flame-keeper murders Sheidheda, at say, age sixteen, confirming to Sheidheda that flame-keepers are dangerous, out to get him, and that he was right to kill the first three.  

So, what? Am I saying that Shiedheda should have been the good guy, an unfairly maligned commander? Not really. I still think Sheidheda should be a ruthless, merciless, violent commander who, paraphrasing from Luna, was taught by the flame-keepers to revel in his anger and violence. I am saying it would be more interesting if he was painted (at least somewhat) sympathetic villain, as a teenager who embodies of the cycle of violence. 

I also think it would be interesting if he genuinely had what he thought were Madi’s best interests at heart.

Maybe he sees himself in Madi (a child commander of a society that uses and discards nightblood children) or maybe he sees the nighblood children he grew up with before he was forced to kill them. 

And this could have easily fit with his actions for most of season 6. He repeatedly tells Madi to kill Gaia, because from his experience with flame-keepers, they’re dangerous so you’d better kill them before they kill you. And hell, Sheidheda is not exactly wrong about Gaia, either. Yes in the end she decides to sacrifice the flame to save Madi, but before that she stated- multiple times- that she would murder Madi before allowing Sheidheda control of Wonkru.

Sheidheda’s plans for murdering all the primes? Well, Madi clearly wants revenge for them murdering Clarke and they’ll be a threat to Madi if they find out she’s a nightblood. Better to kill them all now.

Telling her to kill Jackson while he’s forcibly taking her bone marrow is pretty self-explanatory (especially when you consider he didn’t seem like he was going to do anything when Russell ordered them to take enough doses that would kill her).

Even threatening to “kill this child” if Raven doesn’t stop trying to delete his code fits with this if you view it as self preservation (he’s looking out for Madi but he’s not willing to die for her) and/or a bluff because he thinks he’s the only one looking out for Madi and he thinks she’ll die without him (he’s projecting his experiences of being a child commander onto her).

And can you imagine the reveal, if for episodes we’d been hearing about this scary, evil commander and oh no, he’s starting to control Madi and telling her to murder Gaia, and then we go into Madi’s mindscape and holy shit Sheidheda’s sixteen.

And thematically, we could get into the cycle of violence. How when children are taught they have to kill to survive, that violence and anger are strength, they will kill and keep killing. How this system of child commanders and child soldiers hurts children, and is bad all around. How in order to “do better”, you have to stop this cycle of violence (and you can’t keep using fucking child soldiers, yes I’m talking about Madi). And- especially if you keep some of the season 7 “Sheidheda in Russell’s body” plot- the question of “how do you stop the cycle of violence when those still caught in the cycle are determined to still commit violence?” is much more present than what we actually got in season 7.

How weight conscious are you? Very. It’s one of the main focal points right now and topic of discussion with like everyone. There’s always a comment of some kind regarding it. Doctors and family making sure I’m eating and reminding me, as if I need to be reminded at all, that I’m underweight and need to eat more. As if I’m not trying. As if it’s that simple. “Just eat more” blah blah. I don’t use the word “triggered” easily at all, but the topic of my weight is a big trigger for me. My Nana texted me recently and was like, “I saw some photos of you taken recently at your brother’s grad party and you’re so thin!! You need to seek medical treatment.” Ugh. I know everyone means well and I’m fortunate to have people that care, but it’s just really frustrating and something I’ve been struggling with and I’m just really tired of it.

What’s your favorite eye color? Blue or green.

Rent a movie or go see one in theaters? I like going to the movies, especially when it’s to see something I’m really into and excited about like Marvel films or one that looks really good like a horror or psychological thriller. Streaming movies is nice, too, it just depends.

My thoughts on The 100 7x05

Hey, guys,

Sorry for not doing any comments on the last two episodes. I’ve been a little busy and I struggled to connect to the show, so it hindered my enjoyment, but it’s all better now. Liked episode 4 and 5 was even better, jampacked with info and it answered a lot of questions.

Welcome to Bardo

Badass Octavia is da bomb (people don’t say that anymore, right?). When she was captured in episode two, I thought she had lost her fighting spirit, but it’s back, bitches. Well, until she runs into an invisible wall trying to escape. She’s captured and transported to M-cap (whatever that means). Then we get a welcome little flashback to Lincoln but it’s obvious that Bellamy would be the hand reaching out. He’s her rock, like she’s expressed many times.

Unlike John Murphy who is not quite a friend, or family and definitely not a lover. Introducing so many new characters in the final season of a show is never a good idea, because this is the time to wrap up all the stories of the existing ones, but come on, who cannot love Levitt. Even when he first meets Octavia, he doesn’t want to hurt her. Jason, you better not harm one hair on this precious little puppy’s head!

As he binges The 100 through Octavia’s eyes, he starts rooting for her, and he actually gives a damn, unlike most people on this show. He understands her strengths and weaknesses and he makes her see it too. “You’re a warrior to be sure, but your heart is pure.” Wow, what an honest and beautiful line. (Scroll down for my shipping comments.)

So is O and Hope’s fleeting little reunion. It’s amazing to experience this deep loving side of Octavia after her darkness. She’s truly one of the most diverse and developed characters on the series. Now Hope and her resilience is quickly making it to the top as well.

While Hope is trying to send her back home, we learn that memory loss is due to the time dilation. One quick note on this, it’s not linear, there’s no easy equation to calculate it unless you’re Stephen Hawking or Einstein. I don’t think it’s constant either. 10 years on Skyring = 11 days on Bardo = a few minutes on Sanctum. In the current time, 5 years on Skyring = 1 day on Sanctum = 7 days on Bardo. So, it’s clear that the planets are moving, and other factors are playing into the phenomenon. It’s more important to understand the time relative to each planet.

Levitt was the one who tattooed Hope’s code onto O’s back, also the one who planted the note into Hope’s arm. Indeed the kind of man you want on the inside, he even accepts a blow to the face as thank you.

Sheep-ish?

Thirty minutes on the clock and the trio gets led to a congregation to praise the shepherd. I never thought it was Anders, I do, however think it might be Cadogan. The Bordoan’s built the underground forest because they destroyed their planet. Ugh, what’s new? The shepherd herded his sheep from earth to Bardo via the stone. Cadogan and his second dawn cult?

Back to Clarke. So, after last episode I thought ‘the key to winning the last war’ line was an artifice for luring Clarke to disciples, but now it’s clearly true. They’ve located the key and they will win the last war. Levitt was interested in Clarke surviving the City of Light with the flame in her head, they probably assume she still has it. Cadogan burned Becca alive. Could it be because of the flame? Is this all because of that damn little chip that can’t seem to die?

Bellamy is not dead, I repeat, Bellamy is not dead! I believe that memory could be staged or implanted for a reason. Also, there’s no body, he jumped through the bridge. In the promo photos, he wears a ring but his actions towards Octavia seem a little cold and generic. On first watch, I thought it was bad acting but if he was programmed to do this, it makes sense.

Note the sequence of events. Octavia returned 7 days ago and was asked to talk her brother down, but we don’t see the actual scene. Instead we’re shown a memory. They could have implanted it to make her vulnerable and perhaps more susceptible to the procedure. I don’t know, but this theory could lead to Robot-sheep!Bellamy on Nakara, where he’ll encounter Clarke and the gang.

I have to be honest, I really don’t like this character arc for Bellamy. It’s unoriginal and a mime of Peeta’s storyline in Mockingjay. Sorry, but so far it feels like the writers were so over the show, they just wanted to get it done. And that attitude really bleeds into one’s creative concepts. I could be completely wrong, in fact, I hope I am.

Echo spins a Finn

My word, I lost the love of my life once, but I sure didn’t kill anyone. When Echo received that vision of Roan, I was hoping for some progression on her individual arc, they’ve made me care about her, and now we get the opposite. Why? One thing I have to admit, a killer performance from Tasya Teles! No pun intended.

Look, this show hasn’t explored Bellamy and Echo’s relationship enough to make her murder believable. It was the exact same thing with Finn. I wasn’t invested in Finn and Clarke’s connection, so his actions of killing a grounder tribe was more repulsive than understandable. Sure, Echo loves Bellamy and her sole purpose is to save him, but I’ve never truly witnessed their love for each other. They had one or two intimate scenes which cannot compel a deed like this. And in the process, she screwed Hope and Diyoza.

Anyway, I don’t think there’s any coming back from it. She murdered an innocent person in cold blood. That’s sure to open a door to the dark side.  Just look at Octavia after killing Pike and her actions were justified by jus drein jus daun.

Say Sanctum three times slowly and it sounds like… Sanctum

Blind faith

Look, I’m just gonna come out and say this song is getting old. Every episode featuring Sanctum is the exact same thing with different lines. Can we please move on from it, already? Yes, we know the COG want Russel dead, and the adjusters will go to extreme lengths to free Russel and the prisoners are background noise.

I did appreciate Nelson stepping in to try and save the girl, though. Still doesn’t save the fact that it’s repetitive. The Sanctum plotline is really struggling to take shape and I hope it happens soon. Dramatic eyeroll.

At least in the drought of a desert, you can always count on Murphy. “…I say we live and let die.” Typical cockroach line, right, but it’s ironic when he’s the one to step up, even if it is for Emori. Under the magnifying glass it’s the exact same plot as episode 1 and 3. He hesitates to take action, and eventually becomes the hero.

I mean, he saved that poor kid from being burned alive. Can you imagine sacrificing your own child in such a horrific away? Cults are beyond whacked, and, unfortunately, it’s reality that cult members are so blinded by their faith that they do not see rhyme or reason.

How did Murphy fail that test? I didn’t. When Trey named the four pillars, I thought, isn’t rejoice one of them? Surely, a cockroach would have smelled that trap a mile away.

Indra the great

Can we just give a massive round of applause to Adina Porter!!! That powerhouse walk vibrates strength and majesty, damn, she should be a false god, I wouldn’t dare threaten her with or without an army.

Three little words was all it took for her to recognize evil. “There’s a spider on your shoulder.” Smooth. Too bad she can’t kill him. Why not, how many of the faithful are left to cause an uproar? Wonkru doesn’t know it’s Sheidheda, they won’t care, the COG will fall in line and the prisoners will be happy as long as they get their compound. Sorry, I don’t get it and I don’t understand why she doesn’t tell anyone.  Someone please explain?

Granted, JR Bourne as Russel is way better, but I still don’t understand his actions. I hope they explore and explain him more, because he still feels flat unless he knows something of this final war. I’m hoping these two storylines align soon since it’s really driving a wedge between me and my love for the show.

Shipwreck

I’ll start with the easy stuff, Murphy, Emori and the perfect dress gets a heart eye emoji from me. They are so damn cute this season, can they please live happily ever after in the palace?

Octabriel vs Levittavia

Now, I enjoy Levitt fangirling over Octavia. I feel like he has a deep sense of her through her memories. If I have to root for an underdeveloped relationship, it will have to be one where the characters share thoughts and experiences even if it is through a sick, sci-fi procedure.

On the other hand, Gabriel and Octavia have immense chemistry, two seconds of them together bends my mouth into an “Aah, cute” pout. This will also add some approval and representation for mixed racial relationships.

I really don’t mind either way as long as they make me care through showing and not telling.

Bellarke

So, if my theory is correct, and Bellamy does end up on Nakara, Bellarke will encounter each other quite soon. Bellamy won’t be himself though, but he might pretend to be Bellamy to win Clarke’s co-operation. Is there hope for Bellarke yet?

Echo is now trotting a dangerous path and Bellamy might be pledged to a cause, so I doubt there will be a happy ending for Becho. Since 7x01 I’ve been thinking that the writers might want to develop something between Clarke and Gaia but if they are separated, is there enough time? Guess we’ll see.

More Horizon Zero Dawn AUs

NOTE: IDK why but I just really like making Aloy powerful and giving the world the knowledge it deserves. Well I do know the reason why I do the second one because fuck Ted Faro

ROYAL GODS AU

Took some inspiration from Warhammer (the god emperor part), I don't know much about it though.

In this AU Ted didn't fuck everyone over (he tried and failed). APOLLO did malfunction for some cradles, however. The parts of the world that are technologically advanced have already colonized other planets and solar systems by the time HZD happens. Rost was the previous 'God Emperor' of the Twilight empire (known to his people as Rost the Great; If you can't already tell the moon is an important part of the empire's culture and I thought it be cool to see a society worship mainly the moon and view the moon as more important than the sun) and took Aloy from the Nora when he discovered them attempting to kill her as an infant. He still dies protecting Aloy however, only Aloy is much younger (age 7) and everything happens much faster because she has an entire empire that wants the people responsible for their beloved emperor dead. When Rost dies he transfers all of his godly abilities to Aloy but wishes for her to become an eternal empress which comes true. By doing this he made Aloy immortal. She can also give the gift of immortality to whoever she pleases and can give them powers as well. During her first visit to GAIA Prime Aloy wakes up the Alpha's and they help put a stop to HADES.

Since she is too young to take the throne, her Aunt Minerva becomes the Empress. She continues to teach Aloy about their empire and how to be a leader so Aloy can take the throne once she steps down. A few years after defeating HADES, Aloy being Rost's only child and heir, Aloy is crowned the 'God Empress' of the Twilight Empire and becomes the most powerful woman not only on the planet but all of the Earth colonies across the galaxy (aged 17). Around this time is when GAIA is rebuilt. To her people, she is known as Empress Aloy Kassandra Sobeck or Aloy the Just among other nicknames. Because Elisabet is her 'mother' she is known as Duchess Elisabet Sobeck . The other Alpha's have been given the titles such as duchess/duke as well. GAIA also has the title duchess because fuck it why not. Shortly after getting GAIA back to full strength, Aloy and Varl get married (they had been betrothed since before they could even walk and yes Varl is a prince in this AU; aged 18). Varl has a head full of dreads along with a stubble beard. Also, Aloy has a slight accent (she has the same accent as the natives in the game GreedFall) that becomes more noticeable the more excited she gets because why not and also the seat of the empire is in modern-day Ireland.(May come back and add some more stuff)

AU WHERE ELISABET ADOPTES ALOY'S 5 FRIENDS AND A TODDLER THAT ALOY STOLE OR HZD WITH SOME HARRY POTTER ELEMENTS

Aloy was kidnapped when she was a baby because the Sobeck's of this earth are an ancient and extremely powerful line of Oscoris ( sco-ris ; multiversal magic) users before the events leading up to HZD (she was born when Lis was in her early twenties/late teens) by the mysterious company [I really need to come up with a name for them] and was experimented on. Later she returned to her home universe (for her it was only six years, not the twenty-seven years it was for Elisabet), along with her teammates and a toddler she stole. Elisabet never had to sacrifice herself for everyone's safety because she used her oscoris to seal the doors and then everyone was put in cryostasis. Nearly 1000 years later, THEEYANA (a powerful multiversal AI; kinda like a goddess) wakes Elisabet and the alpha's up when Aloy is unable to. Together they all stop HADES and rebuild GAIA with THEEYANA's help. THEEYANA starts taking large groups of humans and educating them on their past and more on magic and on oscoris. Eventually, after pulling some strings The Citadel agreed to help the people of this earth get to the point they should have been at. Aloy's teammates don't actually have real names; they go by code names or nicknames so Elisabet names them all. It should be noted that in this AU it's a tradition for a Sobeck to be named after a famous person from any mythology really or a celestial body. Example: Elisabet's middle name is Andromeda. (Yes the Sobeck's are kinda like the Black's from Harry Potter but they're not pureblood supremacists. Yes, they practice dark magic, but they practice all kinds of magic). Ted is still alive, but older now and was charged for his crimes against humanity. (Yes, I got inspiration from A Lightkeeper in The Dark)

THE KIDS NICKNAMES AND REAL NAMES, AGES, NOTES ABOUT THEM (3 girls and 3 boys):

Aloy- Atalanta Cassiopeia Sobeck, 7 yrs old; Aloy is just a nickname along with little huntress, little wolf ( only her mother can call her that), little duck (her grandma would call her that when she was still alive, sometimes Lis calls her it too but rarely), and a few others. She and her mother are the most powerful pureblooded oscoris users and the reason their oscoris is so powerful is because they are Vehreapollmen ( veh-ra-e-po-le-men; hellbeast ) hybrids and not totally human (Elisabet is something like one 15th human and Aloy is like one 20th human).

Bomber- Achilles Rigel Sobeck, 8 yrs old; he's known for making bombs and breaking into things. He mostly goes by Rigel.

Huey- Leo Endymion Sobeck, 5 yrs old; the shyest out of all them.

Mini Gaia- Bellatrix (Bella) Cyrene Sobeck, 6 yrs old; third oldest behind Aloy and Achilles, was called Mini Gaia as a joke because she looks so much like GAIA the AI and she absolutely hates it. She was actually given the name Bellatrix by Aloy and then the name Cyrene by Elisabet after Aloy introduced Bella to her mother.

Daisy- Pandora Lyra Sobeck, 2 yrs old; she's the youngest and most well behaved out of all of them,

Delta - Draco Oisín (oh-SHEEN ) Sobek, 4 yrs old; second youngest out of all of them and by far the most talkative

All of them are insanely protective of their mother. Basically, this AU is just Elisabet Sobeck adopts 5 homicidal former child soldiers who have never been shown any affection, then proceeds to give them all the love in the world. That being said she is not fazed one bit when she finds out that one of her kids tried to kill somebody because she expects it to happen. She would be surprised if they didn't try and kill someone. When this happens Lis gets this deadpan look and just goes "Again? It's not even lunch yet!" Later on Elisabet would go on to have twin boys when Aloy is 14 and the kids are really protective of their new baby brothers. (I may come back and add some more stuff)

My thoughts on the finale

Okay so, I'm gonna try to keep this as a list and not go off too much, but basically my thoughts on the 100 s6 finale

Overall, found it pretty anticlimactic. ESPECIALLY the Madi/Sheidheda and Russell plots. It was just like, one second they're totally gonna rule everything and the next Madi is Madi again and Russell is arrested. Like.... Okay? That's it? That's how we're resolving what have been the two main villains of the entire season? Cool.

Octavia is the best and I will love her for all time and she better not be actually dead (I don't believe she is, but still). This is gonna need a sub-list so here we go: 1) she is the ONLY one to volunteer to go with Gabriel to save his people. They made it a point to show each and every one of spacekru not saying a damn thing, but it was Octavia who said no, I won't let people die if I can do something about it. She is still the ONLY character that tries to save EVERYONE regardless of whether or not they are "her people". Only after O declared she was going and entreated her brother, only then did the rest of them join. Because my girl is an inspiration. 2) her and echo, amazing, "I like those odds" and then echo grinning like I always knew I liked you. 3) she is a warrior queen! 30 on 3? Easy. Dude was hiding behind a shelf and runs out? Take down the bitch like it's nothing. Woman sets herself on fire to light up the building? JUST EFFING TACKLE HER. Iconic. 4) "Hope?" That one line and it was Confirmed that Octavia helped Charmaine raise little Hope in the Anomaly. Also she totally knew and accepted it and was there for her, I just. Yeah. 5) SHE IS THE KEY TO THE ANOMALY AND ACTUALLY ESCAPED IT AND SPENT YEARS IN THERE AND SHE SHARES HER NAME WITH THE FINAL SYMBOL AND JUST AHHHH SHE IS LITERALLY MAGIC THIS SEASON I LOVE IT SHE EVEN TURNS INTO GREEN SMOKE AND INSTANTLY STOPS THE ANOMALY SPREAD WITH HER "DEATH" LIKE COME ON IT'S LIKE THIS ENTIRE THING WAS SET UP FOR HER, and we've got this mystery villain dude who sent Hope to kill her as the only way to save Charmaine, of course because he Knows O will come for her and to destroy him, she is too powerful to let live. Lexa knew it, azgeda knew it, literally everyone who has ever opposed her knows there is no stopping her unless she is killed or incapacitated. This is also why I def don't think she's dead because girl has taken a lot worse and been fine so one little stabby stab ain't gonna be enough. She a Bad Bitch, you can't kill her. (I think she was actually like sent back into the Anomaly or something along those lines, maybe it's a parallel dimension/timeline/astral space whatever that she sort of merged with or something)

I'm still not okay with Bellamy for two reasons: 1) they still treat him like he's the moral authority which is still laughable. I hated Clarke asking him "it was worth it right?" for multiple reasons (the above, and because it always seems to be women asking men for moral judgment as if they are the authority and I'm not about it. I'm def a lot more sensitive about this one since got though so that may just be me) and 2) because they keep trying to show the Blakes as okay and soft and trusting with each other again even though BELLAMY HAS YET TO APOLOGIZE! He literally tried to kill her and told her to kill herself half a dozen times in the (show-time) past week or so. That is not okay. Moving past the fact that Octavia is the only character in the show's history that has had to earn her forgiveness/redemption, she has multiple times over and Bellamy still can't apologize for telling her to go die when she felt like a monster and like life had no meaning and I will never accept him trying to act all easy around her until he apologizes for that. So yeah, I didn't like his "side by side. Like it was meant to be" because one: he wasn't gonna go with Gabriel until Octavia said she was, he doesn't get to have equal credit in this, and two: he literally left her to die two days ago and didn't fully forgive her when she bared her heart and soul and apologized to him.

The flame. Besides the fact that in trying to "defeat a monster", in replacing Osleya/Octavia/Blodreina with a child commander they didn't know whose family had hidden her away to avoid this very thing, Indra Gaia and Bellamy created an even worse monster in Sheidheda is so ironic and they didn't even mention it at all that those three were responsible for turning Madi into this. Besides the fact that Gaia and Indra literally plotted to kill Madi. Besides the fact that Raven found a magic kill code not in Becca's notes to remove Sheidheda and the flame but then it subsequently uploaded something so we'll probably get Sheidheda as Alie 2.0 because this show can apparently only come up with 3 storylines and simply recycles them. I'm glad that the flame is gone (for now). I was sick and tired of that storyline. It should've been over and done with in s4 but hey better late than never (even though they're definitely still gonna use it in some manner but hopefully no more commander bs). But for real why was Raven of all people the one like "but it'll delete the flame" like yeah bitch, delete all of it, you have literally no connection to this whatsoever you should have absolutely zero compunctions about it what was that?

Did I mention I love Octavia? Because I do, her storyline was the only one I really cared about this season (mostly because it was actually different and not the same recycled storyline from five years ago) and I'm glad that going into the next season it will kind of all be about her. I just hope it's not all Bellamy and the gang trying to find her and we don't see o for the majority of the season. I want it to be two simultaneous storylines of o in the Anomaly trying to save Charmaine and take out this mystery kidnapper, and then Bellamy and Gabriel and co figuring out how to save O. But one things for certain, I NEED OCTAVIA AND DIYOZA TO REUNITE! I need my dream team back, it was taken too soon.

Jordan wtf? Where did you get that stupid chip. I swear if I never see another damn chip or infinity symbol in my life it will be too soon.

Why does no one in Hollywood understand that SPACE IS A VACUUM?! Clarke would've been dead, and so would everyone else anywhere else on the ship that wasn't behind an airlock because as soon as she opened that door all the oxygen would've been sucked out and they would've frozen to death if they didn't die of asphyxiation first. It just bugs me so much that it is the year 2019 and sci-fi is still so dumb about space still. I would've forgiven if it they had at least tried to show a little of the effects, like no sound or frost gradually growing on Clarke or her at the very least being very weak/hard to catch her breath afterward, but literally nothing. She just plopped right on up and ran off like nothing happened. It just irks me.

Emori rocks that look and if she wanted to keep it forever I would support her.

Gabriel's solid. I like him. I think he's the first accurate portrayal of a scientist that has that curiosity and excitement but still cares about and values life, but may be a little reckless sometimes in the pursuit of solving a mystery. Also, he likes Octavia so I will hoard my in-show Octavia defenders to the end.

Well, I tried to do an even 10 but that's all I've got. Overall I thought it was all a little anticlimactic and a lot of characters kind of fell by the wayside or were downright ooc (Jordan, Niylah and Echo to some extent for the former, raven and Miller for both but mostly the latter) all season. We are finally rid of Kabby and the flame and for that I am grateful, but if the cost is Bellamy's continued misrepresentation as the moral authority of the show when he has never had to seek redemption then I'm not sure it's worth it. This season strengthened my love for Octavia, got me back onto respecting and liking Clarke, and turned Bellamy (who used to be my favorite character) back into my least favorite (like he was beginning of s1) so we'll see how it goes with s7.

But ultimately, bring back Diyoza and Octavia!

Thenjust as things are settling down… Garlic is an idiot who thinks up a loopholein the “can’t wish people dead” rule and wishes Goku and Vegeta’s familiesstraight out of existence and they end up in an entirely different reality. 8.3.  Antiviral: Woden and Gaia conspire tocreate antibodies to fight off Jenova’s infection. Cid and Vincent end upbearing the brunt of this decision, get roofied by Divine Intervention, andalso end up the Gaian equivalent of demonic werewolves. Also the Planet istransforming all the SOLDIERS into werewolves too, yes, even the dead ones. Chaptered, WIP

8.4.  For Love Of: Cid Highwind crashes theTiny Bronco into Lucrecia’s cave, does the metaphysical equivalent of tearingher heart out and eating it to absorb her power, and them proceeds to adoptGeneral Sephiroth as his son because it’s not like anyone can stop him. CidHighwind does what he wants. Sephiroth does what Mother wants. SHIN-RA soonregrets everything because Cid Highwind is a hell of a lot better at rewritingthe social order than Avalanche is. 8.5.  Hindsight is 20-20: CHAOS decides torewrite time because they have a massive crush on Cid and they don’t want himto die. Aerithshoves the spirits of Avalanche and their children into a new timeline becauseshe doesn’t want to watch their souls get shredded. Avalanche proceeds to moseyalong and wreak havoc in the way only they can manage.

The other Box Animals think it’s a great idea and do thesame with their humans, and this results in the kind of alternate timeline thatgives Byakuran a headache. Then Namimori happens, andTsuna’s seal gets him temporarily killed, and Xanxus reaches100-year-vengance-plot levels of overprotective big brother. WIP

17.8.              Music ofthe Spheres: Crossover with SM – Post Stars Usagi and Post Vongola InheritanceTsuna are cousins who meet for the first time ever only after the Vongola’senemies kidnap Ikkuko and Shingo. Usagi gets taken into protective custody byher Mafia relatives without being given the chance to say she doesn’t need it.Usagi then proceeds to seduce all the women, charm all the men, and accidentlythrow Iemitsu out the nearest window every time he’s in the same room she is. Said capsule lands in front of a wasted 15-year-old Tony in theaftermath of a frat party. Cue the face hugger scene. Tony gets an Extremisupgrade about 30 years ahead of schedule and it’s the only reason he survivesthe memory download without his brain turning into mush. WIP

19.4.              Perception:Instead of killing Scott in X3, Dark Phoenix instead fixes the brain damagethat prevented him from controlling his optic blasts and then shunts him troughtime an space. Scott wakes up 18-years-old in Stryker’s lab and proceeds tohijack Wolverine’s rampage so that they can both escape. James Howlett isimpressed, and Cyclops hates everything but especially time travel because itruins all his fallback plans. WIP

They all end up in theROOT base made from one of Tobirama’s old labs and instead of Kyuubi gettingloose Team Ro, the Fourth Hokage’s team of bodyguards, Obito, Anko, and all ofROOT plus Danzo himself get dumped into the Warring Clans Era. Obito killsDanzo in a panic when he realizes that taking the Bijuu means killing Rin,Kakashi sacrifices himself again, and there is a lot more running around. Kakashisuborns ROOT en masse, Obito is stupidly overpowered and homicidal but it’sokay because Kakashi is playing damsel in distress and distracting him. TheSenju and the Uchiha are all really confused by these kids, there are far toomany mistaken identities, and Konoha gets founded much earlier than in canon. Meta

20.4.              Accordingto Custom: Hashirama and Madara should not be left unsupervised (that’s whyMito and Touka tend to lurk nearby when they have tea together) because itcauses them to get Brilliant Ideas. This time they decide to make friends withone another’s little brothers. How Madara went from being “nice” to Tobirama tocourting the oblivious younger Senju is still something of a mystery, but thereare several bets riding on when Tobirama is going to realize what’s going on. The Hibari Clan proceeds to start huntingfor the Man in the Iron Man en mass. Madara and his brothers hit Namimoriduring Nono’s visit and witness the sealing of Tsunayoshi. They don’t take wellto this either. Things go worse for Tsuna than they do in canon and Madarahunts down Tobirama because he needs the resurrection to be done perfectly.Tsuna loves his Madara-shishou and wants to be just like him when he grows up. 20.10.          Look theInnocent Flower: Orochimaru gets the Hat instead of Minato because insteadof working for Danzo he creates his Baby-no-Jutsu (the same one that producedRogu and Mitsuki) and that’s how Orochimaru accidently turns Tenzo into theOrochimaru-and-Tsunade lovechild while field testing some gene-splicingadoption techniques. Sarutobi is so delighted by all the babies he namesOrochimaru his successor without any further debate. Konoha proceeds to becomea somewhat androgynous, gender-fluid utopia full off affectionate, friendlypeople who only want you for your body. Orochimaru refuses to allow hypocrisyin his Konoha and loyalty to ones comrades is not only encouraged, it’senforced. Meta

20.18.          TsukumogamiNo Kankurou: While he is still very young, Kankurou signs a Summonscontract with the Tsukumogami (aka the Muppet Theater Troupe) and then proceedsto interrupt Yashamaru’s “attack” on Gaara while simultaneously wreaking havocacross the entirety of Sunagakure. All of this is done to get back at Rasa fornot letting Kankurou play with his baby brother. The Middle Child Syndrome isstrong in this one. Never underestimate the power of petty spite. 22.4.              Those WhoFavour Fire: Ace survives Marineford, even if only in spirit, because theGoddess of the Sea answered the prayer of another version of Ace. Waking up inthe place of his 17-year-old murdered doppelganger, Ace now has to deal withraising a 7-year-old Luffy and escaping the notice of the Marines. Things I really don’t like about Minecraft, honestly:

The early survival game is inaccessible

Here’s the thing about early Minecraft survival: you’re plonked in the middle of the wilderness, with absolutely nothing, and literally the first thing you got to do is punch a tree and find a safe place to spend the night before you get beaten up by monsters.

That’s it. You could spend the night hiding in a hole, probably crafting and mining something in the middle of the night, while hostile mobs wander areas that aren’t lit up, waiting to, basically, kill you. And you’ll stay in this precarious situation for at least a few days, as you 1) make a place to sleep, 2) build shelter, 3) get supplies to venture out, and 4) don’t die, because if you die, you lose your stuff.

This is a game marketed to mass audiences. For children, even. And it can be so manifestly unpleasant I have no idea how it got popular so quickly.

I don’t actually have a problem with this, actually! I positively enjoyed some of that experience, and some of that tension makes for some fun gameplay and entertaining stories — like the one where I found a white horse, tamed it, named it, and then proceeded to take it to a foolhardy exploratory quest before it fell under a hail of arrows (RIP Binky 2019–2019).

And I don’t even have a problem with the learning curve, because I’ve learned and thrived in environments like Dwarf Fortress. I use emacs for gods’ sake. Low accessibility and high difficulty environments are my jam.

But getting here involved more than a dozen start-and-stop moments of gameplay where I literally quit the game, deleted the save, and went to bed in disgust. It’s stupid. It’s aggravating. I can’t believe that this was ready for mass market, what with the lack of telegraphing and the pretty damn high stakes from the start, that the only people who’d play this would be gamers who are familliar with the tropes, already know a little about Minecraft lore, and are invested to try and try again.

To be fair, they’ve made some things easier: they’ve included guidebooks with recipes to automatically load items you already know into the crafter, there’s an official guide online, and if need be, you have cheats. But consider:

If you need to cheat to get the game accessible, there is something wrong with the core game loop.

You can’t create a guidebook and then rely on players gaining “enough experience” to access them to make the game more accessible.

You can’t just bloody have a guide that a person needs to open a browser, or buy the book, to get by.

Survival is very much a non-starter if Minecraft is your first serious game, you get frightened or suffer from anxiety in trying to stay alive, and you have difficulty optimizing your moves to get the best result.

Redstone is a mess

Actually, I have no opinions on how redstone is implemented on a purely technical basis. It’s a system, it’s mostly Turing complete, that's… interesting. What pisses me off is how the Technical Minecraft community is… well, frankly, hard to get into, hard to gain proficiency in, and looks fairly clannish, insular and… honestly a drag to Minecraft’s further development, if Minecraft was to get developed further.

Like I’ve talked about this before, but the existence of the Technical Minecraft is entirely dependent on a class of software behavior that you could make an argument are actually bugs. Zero-tick pistons, anomalous sticky piston behavior with blocks, quasi-connectivity… these weren’t intended consequences for the developers of Minecraft, and they’ve said so before.

Say what you want, but honestly if the only reason why a developer reverted a bug-fix because a bunch of small, clannish, insular, and loud minority were making complaints, I’d honestly ask how much value those people should have in how you run your business.

But that isn’t all. I had taken to writing down notes because I wanted to figure out how certain redstone constructions worked, and even the simplest designs suffer from the following:

There appears to be no standard way of sharing schematics and designs for redstone creations.

Most of the instructions are in video, which is a terrible medium to instruct in, because you don’t have a way to skim through the resource, the presenter literally doesn’t have to say anything more than what they do on video (and thus can be as vague and contradictory as they want).

Most of the instructions are in the nature of, do everything this way, except this section, in which you need to do (flurry of movement as the presenter puts in a slightly different design that you better be able to catch). It’s “simple”. No, it’s fucking not.

Another thing that bothers me is that, fundamentally, most redstone designs are hand-crafted, which is mind-boggling. For one, if you are just starting redstone in Minecraft, you’re going to be sitting with the same toolkit that the most experienced users of redstone are. You’ll still be laying down redstone lines and putting in comparators. You’ll still be dealing with the janky and inconsistent behavior that experienced redstoners are. You’d still be debugging your creations with the same tools experienced redstoners are. And like, you’d be doing it with nary any institutional or technical support, because… reasons?

It’s like you progress from electrical engineering to low-level programming to high-level programming to virtual machines to virtualization… so that you can get back to electrical engineering again? Using skills that may or may not transfer well into other fields? Why?

And there are consequences for this as well, which I’ll get to in a bit, but also, I need to talk about how the community gets around this problem, which is basically…

Modded Minecraft replaces the problems vanilla has with other problems

Specifically? One of them is performance.

I don’t know if you’ve tried 1.12.x and then compared it with 1.15.x, but the differences are night and day. Like, I run a potato computer, mostly because we’re broke af and don’t have the scratch for a l33t gaming machine, but… well, yeah. What’s occasionally janky in 1.15 is literally unplayable in 1.12. What takes 5 minutes to load in vanilla takes up to thirty minutes in modded Minecraft.

And sure, this will sort itself out as modders eventually take advantage of the new architecture and optimizations within 1.15, but in some other ways, it won’t. Mostly because the nature of modded Minecraft is that it literally has to interface with the literal source files to generate or insert new code, and since mod-makers don’t have access to the code pipeline and the tools that they can use to optimize the game, well…

And we’ve only talked about the Java Edition, and not Bedrock, which I suspect will be even more tightly incorporated into the platforms that it runs, at the cost of having less open infrastructure, and as a result, more consequences to mod performance and stabilty.

But another thing that bothers me about modded Minecraft is how so many mods are just… Minecraft, but more. More power, more game mechanics, more technical additions, more mobs, more enchantments… but half the time the resulting game feels bloated and overly-complex.

This is funny because it literally sounds like I’m contradicting myself over the fact that early Minecraft survival had too little in terms of letting itself be accessible, so you’d think I’d welcome mods that worked out some of these gaps with things that made player lives easier.

But what I’m looking for is a realignment of how the game approaches players, not as a punitive, inaccessible system where difficulty is a mask for what is ultimately shallow gameplay, and what we get from modded Minecraft is more stuff. Sometimes, in some modpacks, just so many things that several mods do the same thing that the other mods do.

It’s kind of telling that every time I see a modpack that includes Draconic Evolution the first thing I think of is I better not get into Draconic early, because if I do the rest of the game will literally break, because I have no idea what the hell the mod creators are doing there, but when your damage scales allow you to three-shot the Ender Dragon final boss, that mod breaks the game. Doesn’t matter if you make a boss that’s three times tougher than, say, the Wither. Game’s fucking broken.

There are some good approaches: FTB Academy and other questbook mods do give players a chance to orient and align themselves with what to do, without forcing players to have to go through the anxiety and terror of not knowing what to do, and keeps them engaged far longer than they should be, but honestly… ultimately what you’re doing is more stuff, just through the lens of what the mod wants you to do.

Plus FTB Academy has Draconic and you can literally two-shot the Guardian of Gaia, which is supposed to be so tough that metal music starts playing and it can cause effects that are twice as worse as the Wither… well.

Is it just me or are there only dudes in this party?

If I have to count the number of people who weren’t cis men or boys in the time I’ve been lurking around Minecraft’s YouTube channels, I can quite literally say that the number would be less than half a dozen.

That’s very bad. When your visible community is 95% cis dudes and everyone else aren’t there, it tells me that:

The game alienates literally everyone who isn’t a cis dude

The player base are driving away anyone who isn’t a cis dude

Part of the reasons for #1 are, well, I’ve mentioned them above: it only really allows people who have the time and wherewithal to plug into an activity that offers no real benefit outside of the game itself, most of the fantasies it caters to is power fantasies of vanquishing more and more powerful opponents, and there’s barely any community support for newcomers.

So that’s no surprise that the kind of people who are popular Minecraft YouTubers are dudes who are either bad at explaining what they do, are inarticulate, or… well, to not put it too unkindly, dicks. I mean, Minecraft’s recent rise in popularity and relevance was, sadly, because PewDiePie was playing it. So that tells you everything.

And we haven’t even gotten into the fact that the playerbase looks pale as fuck, so you know that’s a thing. I’m seeing a few Indonesian-language Minecraft tutorials on YouTube, so that’s neat, but otherwise… it’s pretty white-dominated.

And this all assumes that the causes are all because of structural inequalities, not active fuckery against marginalized folks. I honestly don’t know how often that happens, though I wouldn’t honestly be surprised if it did. I mean, it’s not as if the game isn’t associated with nasty folk like PDP… and hell, even the original creator, who, to their credit, Microsoft and Mojang have sidelined, is a homophobic and racist dude.

But, yeah. I mean, $CHILD_1 and $CHILD_2 are still at it with Minecraft, and I’ll be around to help them through, hopefully to steer them away from the nasty stuff. But still, ugh. There are so many reasons to be grumpy about this game.

Mind you, at least it isn’t Roblox.

Hey. Long time no see. So to get to the matter uhhh. This account and the half a dozen other ones I have are on permanent hiatus. The tldr of it all is I am just not into short form role playing anymore.

Fandomstuck does mean something to me. I brought me together with the people who saved my life and are like family now. But at the same time I have bad memories here. There was a time it brought out the worst in me and I attacked some of my dearest friends.

But really I came back to address something that well. My friend, @ask-adventure-time-fandom brought up. Please do not use MY DESIGNS for a Fandomstuck fanon wiki that I have no part of. While the only one I have found was my Persona 5 fandomstuck design. It does not excuse the fact this was put up without my permission or knowledge. There is also no source to: 1. the blog I had for the account 2. my DA that I have uploaded most my fandomstuck edits to 3. even my main, this, fandomstuck account. I will be the first to admit that I am not saint when it comes to stealing fan art. I was a child once and didn’t understand what it meant to take random art from google and use it for myself. But now that I have grown up and actually see the harm in what I did once. If I were to rp now on those sites, it was gaia online fyi lmao, I would now work harder in 1. making my own designs and 2. sourcing where things came from. I would say 90% of the character sprites I made were ripped or stolen off of other people’s character maker sheets. Very little of the work themselves was in making the clothing. The minisprites were just ripped from the feastlings? sprite sheets. The only things I remember actually making were the lusii, the clothing and designs for the minisprite bases, and the logos for the specific fandoms. I was incredibly proud for the Persona 5 and Warehouse 13 logos I made. As such I would not like them to be used. As such I want this to be seen by @sakisee or as I remember your fandomstuck account was once @agsonicoffical that changed to be @ifyouaregey. [I still had you blocked from when you harassed me three years ago] But as the top contributor and commenter from what I have seen I believe you are the first person I should talk to in making the changes to the fandomstuck wiki for me. But if nothing is done to that Persona 5 fandom page that is there. I’ll make a fanon wiki accounts so I can take care of it myself. But I would rather save everyone the hassle.

In closing? I certainly have a lot of bad memories associated with fandomstuck. But at the same time it brought people into my life who helped change me for the better. It holds a, mostly, good place in my heart and still was a great way for me to be creative, something I could actually use a bit of right about now. But yeah. Yanno with the flame clearly still important to S6 (Kim Shumway's tweet) and The 100 being a sci-fi, why is it irrational for people to believe that Lxa could be cloned from the Flame, hell even resurrection is a possibility on sci-fi. After all the backlash as apparently Bellarke endgame is a trope that makes Clarke's bisexuality and time with Lxa 'a phase' to make way for m/f endgame. So Clxa endgame!!

Are you erasing bisexuality? 

Saying that if a bisexual woman is with both women and men, but ends up with a man that her bisexuality is just a phase? 

I myself know QUITE a few bisexual women who have gone on to marry men, some happily some not so happily, and might then go on to date or marry women after that. I know one who is looking. I know some bisexual women who married women. Some of them are still happily together. Some have split up. They can then go on to date or marry women OR men, that’s what it means to be bisexual. I know a few who idenitified once upon a time as lesbian but are now married to men.

Maybe it’s because I’m older, and I know how long life is and how fluid sexuality is. There are grown women who have finally figured out that they aren’t straight. And maybe it has something to do with seeing bisexual characters on tv who can be with women or men and end up with women or men and STILL BE BISEXUAL and realizing. Oh. Just because I’m attracted to men, that doesn’t mean that my attraction to women is invalid. I am bisexual. 

Your sexuality is not defined by who you date or don’t date, so you should be careful when you invalidate people’s sexualities, or reduce their identities down to your shipwars and gatekeeping.

Be VERY careful. Your identity is not the only valid identity. Our lives are not points in your shipwar games. I don’t accept biphbobia on my blog.  I will block any more.

Now let me move on to the science ficiton theories, although that too is suspect, because it really sounds like you’re just trying to play more ship wars. If that’s the case, then you’ve picked the wrong blogger, because I like the flame. I consider it a science fiction convention, and in my interpretation, it’s not about ships at all. It’s an AI with a human interface. The commanders are many. Not just Lxa.

The flame is important because it’s still part of the story. You don’t mention Madi ONCE. The flame is in HER head, and Gaia is teaching her to use it. AND they are heading to a planet that was colonized using Becca’s technology, and that INCLUDES ALIE. I find it likely that there will be an ALIE on this new planet. Why wouldn’t she send off the first colonists with that kind of assistant. And this one might not be a villain, if it did not malfunction with the perverse instantiation. It might be making life better for humans on the planet.

As for the cloning, I think we’re getting a lot of people who are like geewhilickers A CLONE could be a neato twist, without really thinking about what a clone would be. I haven’t seen any good cloning theories out there yet. And this is the first I’ve heard of Lxa even been mentioned as a possibility for a clone. I never said it would be irrational for Lxa to be cloned, but I’m gonna think about what that means and how the science would happen. 

You seem to be implying that it’s science fiction, so ANYTHING can happen, and that’s not really true. This is tv sci fi, which is not as rigorous as literary sci fi, true. But you still have to follow the rules of the universe. And generally this show does, even if it handwaves actual science, it usually poses an in world explanation for how things work on the show. That you think you don’t need to follow rules when you tell science fiction stories, means you don’t understand the scifi genre. Which means your interpretation is already shaky.

A lot of people are enamored of the cloning theories. I’m not so sure.  I’ve seen not one inkling of cloning hinted at, and they usually hint about things before they come. I suppose it’s possible for the flame to record Lxa’s gene code. But if it did, it would also have Becca’s, and she’s a more likely candidate for cloning.  As the actual scientist who invented all this important tech.

But wait. What kind of cloning are you talking about? Are we talking about just whipping up a person out of thin air who would be the same person who died hundreds of years ago? Where does their physical body come from? Are you saying they come out of nowhere? Like maybe with some sort of replicator? I suppose you’d want to put the flame consciousness into the replicator body? How did that body grow? What was it before the consciousness went into it. How do you PUT the consciousness in the flame into a physical body? Right now it’s in the AI computer chip. Would we need ANOTHER flame in the new body? If so, is it even a real person? Can it grow and change like a human? Or is it, in reality, an android. So yeah. An android is more likely than a clone. Or maybe just the avatar body like with ALIE. But WHY have an avatar when the flame is IN MADI? IDK. Are you saying the commanders should LEAVE the flame and come back to life in a cloned body?

But… why? What narrative purpose would that solve? The commanders are in there to help the current leader. And WHY would we pick Lxa to reanimate? Wouldn’t… wouldn’t BECCA the scientist be the better choice? What is Lxa gonna do? Start another war? Fight with swords? I thought we wanted to be better now? Are you saying we should bring her back JUST to be romantic endgame? Do you really think that’s likely, or are you building up a romance genre story in your head that is deviating from this current one that has Clarke talking to Bellamy for 6 years??? I mean. She wasn’t talking to Lxa for that 6 years, was she? If she had been, I would be changing my mind. I’m surprised you are ignoring the 2199 calls to Bellamy. I mean, if she wanted to talk to ONE person she loved above others, with no hope of getting an answer, why was it Bellamy and not Lxa?

But that’s not really cloning. Cloning is from the genes and is more like growing a baby with the same genecode. It’s more like raising a twin of Lxa. That’s just a new person. Why would Lxa’s genetic code need to be passed on by cloning? And who would raise her? Clarke’s already raising a daughter. And I don’t think you had in mind for Clarke to raise Lxa from infancy like a mom. That’s not the kind of endgame we’re talking about, is it? 

But that’s what cloning IS. A new person. Same genetics. A twin. Not the old person magically come back to life as if she’d never left, or as if she could just pick up from where she left off as a commander. 

Clones are basically TWINS. They don’t take on the personality of the genemother. I mean, Unless you’re talking about raising a clone, a genetic twin of Lxa and then putting her personality from the flame INTO the body. In which case, is she getting the flame instead of Madi? and if the flame can have it’s own body, why does LXA get to be the personality? What about the other personalities. Or would it be, like switching between Becca and Lxa and Madi and whoever else was in there? Or would they build a whole bunch of different flames and split the commanders up into different flames and different clones so they could all come back to life? DO THE COMMANDERS EVEN WANT TO COME BACK TO LIFE?

And if they DID do that, what about the identity of the clone BEFORE the flame went in there. How would that work? Would the flame override the human clone?  

I don’t know how that would happen. Would she need ANOTHER flame to hold that identity? Would the new clone have TWO identities? The one of the clone, and then the implanted Lxa identity? 

You know. I don’t think you’ve thought much about this cloning theory. It doesn’t really shake out very well.

And while there ARE ways they could have technology that could overcome these difficulties, the BIGGEST difficulty is actually a real world difficulty. 

ADC has her own show. She’s the star. She has a contract that made it difficult enough to finish her storyline in season 3. She’s NOT going to get to come back to be the main character’s love interest. So thinking that would happen really is probably something you should let go of. It’s not realistic. The most we’ll probably get is a cameo. 

I’ve got a theory that there might be a Clarke in the flame. Because all the commanders end up in there, and she was a commander for a short time. That would have meant the Flame had uploaded her identity. So if that’s the case, then there IS INDEED a FlameCL endgame. They are together forever, in the flame. Immortal.

But I doubt we’ll see any of those stories. The story remains with the LIVING CLarke, and the LIVING Bellamy, as it always has been. 

And that’s a Bellarke endgame, too.

I kind of wish you could have asked me this question without the biphobia and the shipwars, because I’m always up for discussing science fiction speculation. IN the end, I feel like this whole ask was just trying to upset me? Which isn’t going to work, because a) I believe in bellarke, since that’s the story being told, not this one you’re making up. b) the flame does not bother me at all. I like it. and c) all your theories are pretty shaky on logic and/or philosophy. d) I don’t respect bigots of any kind.

Its true to say so far this year it has been quite transformative, we have been aware of the preparations humanity has been requested to experience that have taken the collective further through the hall of mirrors and boy have they been rather funky to say the least, throwing all sorts of reflections that we just didn’t realise existed.

Those who have been following the energetic navigation reports here at A Gift from Gaia will no doubt have found the information interesting and yet now the necessity to KNOW exactly what the energetic climate is like has become crucial for those who marry up the experience to the streams of frequency we are receiving, understanding how the energy effects the collective is crucial but understanding your alignment is paramount to your unification, otherwise it would be like going outside in shorts when we are having a blizzard, you prepare for the physical needs but are you preparing for the energetic which of course is really one of the same once you realise the merger between the energetic, physical and mental bodies are One and begin actioning from that space of wholeness.

This understanding, the wisdom and the unification is the only way possible to surf the waves that are forecast, active surfing is so much fun whereas reactive surfing finds you swirling, churning around in the surf and much less time is spent actually on the cosmic surfboard…..and that is tiring as I am sure many of you are finding out as we surf the waves of deep rooted judgements and ultimately FEAR. These old streams, the waves must be surfed, they must be experienced for the opportunity of evolution, all must be Seen and as we also know, this experience is simply the preparation for the incoming movements that 2020 is going to bring, which is going to be a humbling experience to say the least, I feel it will be true to say, those “thinking” themselves onto their light path will very quickly see that they took that “blind” looping path, those awkward paths, the path of manyness as opposed to the path of Oneness. We hear it often, there are many paths to the light…..there is One path of light, there are many looping paths that show you that the path is not light.

The path is a behaviour, it is a way of BEing, it is stripped bare of the bells and whistles, it holds no stories of old, it doesn’t need to exaggerate itself and make itself complicated, it is simple, precise and so easy to follow, the only thing that complicates it is the ego mind that likes to value itself on intellect and complexity, because yet again that has been another patriarchal people program. Why am I telling you all about energy? Well I am sure many of you experienced a huge influx of light yesterday, and if you haven’t yet then you surely will do over the incoming days.

I have something quite unexpected to report that adds to the mystery as to why yesterday gave us all a bolt. We had a CME release yesterday on the far side of the sun, and whilst this isn’t heading in our direction the ripples from the force were without doubt felt, coupled with the incredible feminine frequencies that were, well, many were using the word overwhelming, with so much coming up. It was funny actually because I made a joke in one of the groups yesterday and said all we need is a solar flare and half the planet will jump ship – little did I know, perhaps the dark humour manifested it, who knows but had that have faced us the impact, emotionally would have created some pretty AWE-FULL (great word when you play with it) releasing and activational movement, BUT as it was, our Sun played it gentle, somewhat…….

This energy, as always continues today, energy is a wave, it moves in and it fades out whilst being a continuous flow of new and refreshed codes that activate our DNA and continue our evolutionary experience.  So folk got cranky, folk got anxious – folk SAW where they were their “own worst enemy”, where they hold stagnant energy, where their vibration creates discord and yet collectively we were called into Service, creativity and amazement. Light, being the most highest frequency of love feels incredibly uncomfortable to those blocked areas but once you have identified and cleared the experience is simply magical, the joy, the movement, the opportunities are DIVINE and as we continue into this week we are in receipt of MORE…..ahhhh there is ALWAYS MORE

Venus, is today in superior conjunction, which means she is in front of the Gods, deep in the underworld having been stripped bare, month by month we have died an ego death, if you look back its so plain to see, each Full Moon brought change, each full Moon Venus, also known as Innana from the Sumerian texts, took herself on a journey, the story tells that she was to attend a funeral in the underworld (innerworld) but to visit this dimension it was essential for Innana to purify herself, and so each MOONth (7 in total) she took off either an item of clothing or piece of jewellery, each moon(th) represented one of the 7 gates that led to her being completely exposed, naked and then Innana was killed by her sister, Erishkigal, who represents our ego Self, then hung upside down for 3 days before being resurrected by celestial beings.

Innana is now in invisible as she sits behind the sun and from here she will begin to move back from the underworld, through the 7 gates, given back at each checkpoint what she requires, her clothes and her jewels until she once again becomes the evening star.

I am sure you can liken your path to that of Innana, and today feels much like the weighing of the feather and the heart, we have been stripping away over these past 7 gates all that is no longer required, those ego traits, those defences, those belief systems that creates loops, everything that has made us “our own worst enemy” which just so happens to be a malefic degree in Leo at 22 degrees, exactly where the Sun and Venus meets…..NOW. Those with birthdays today at this degree I am sure will agree their journey has been quite a climb, lots of obstacles to overcome, addictions would perhaps be common, and generally arrogance tends to be the topic of the life curriculum to release, but when released, when this has been realised and released the expansive opportunities are again out of this world and freeing.

The energy of this degree will no doubt be showing itself, as the cosmic surfers release the blockages that showed us to be standing in our own way and the gates of opportunity begin to fully open wide, and yet those in their unconscious slumber will be experiencing the closed gate of self to be realised and opened, stubbornness, arrogance and ignorance could well be seen in the outer world in which those following the light gems to their path will use like springboards to propel them far out of the energy and on their flight path will be realising the true authenticity of Self and the new values discovered throughout this incredible journey we have been on.

All will be Seen, all will be viewed but will you choose to act upon it, or tuck it away? Tomorrows Full Moon will could well be the deal breaker as our Luna Goddess is still fully charged with yesterdays energies.

Angels open those hearts, as wide and as expanded as possible, fill your field with the highest of Divine Love and by doing so we light up all opportunities and See exactly where we are standing in our way, we get to see what is no longer aligned and from here we get to choose to either awaken further into our truth, to choose to stay conscious and surf actively or to experience the strength and power of the under currents and become reactive in this incredible surf.  The opportunities we are now being presented with hold unlimited abundance which in turn will lovingly highlight any limitations being held.

1. What Station on the Ark would you be from?

I like to think Farm, I love plants! But also maybe Polaris, because getting caught up in someone else’s drama and then dying offscreen is probably about how my TV life would go. 

2. What would you get arrested for on the Ark?

...making an inappropriate joke about treason? this is based off the fact that I once made a joke about overthrowing the government whilst touring Parliament and did NOT notice the policeman behind me.

3. Would you take off your wristband when you landed on the ground?

 my mum thinks I’m dead if she sees I don’t reply to her texts within five minutes so i’m gonna say no because i hate worrying people lmao

4 What would the necklace Finn would make for you look like? (Clarke: deer/Raven: a raven duh..)

i have so much dragonfly stuff, so probably that! i don’t even know where that came from, but it seems fitting.

5. If you could resurrect any MINOR character who would it be?

100% maya vie, the revolution queen always and forever! though she is not minor in my Heart

6. Create a squad of 5 characters to go on missions with. Who are they?

Bellamy, Monty, Raven, Abby, Indra! Between them they cover our bases of leadership, plants, machines, medicine, and general badassery

7. What Grounder Clan would you belong to you?

Shallow Valley looked like exactly the kind of place I’d like :)

8. What would your name be in Trigedasleng? (example: Octavia=Okteivia…just make it up!)

This is hard for Tabby! I guess Tabi?

9. Thoughts on Finn? Some people hate him, and others love him, so I’m curious

i’m not gonna sing his praises, but i think he’s more complex than some people give him credit for.  he did terrible things, but i’m never gonna get behind the grounder agenda of spending hours torturing a child to death. i recognise that this is entirely bonkers to say in the universe of the 100, but that dude should have had a fair trial

10. Be honest. How willing would you have been to take the chip without knowing all the horrible things it does?

i wouldn’t do it! also i have trouble with pills, there’s no way i’m dry swallowing that massive hunk of plastic

11. What character do you relate to most?

monty!! i have also watched people i love deeply fall apart, and his struggles in season 4 really resonate with me. but on a lighter note, i also relate to his sense of humour and his deep seated need to snark at people. and eating leaves.

12. What character do you like the least?

i’m gonna go with Cage Wallace, because fuck that guy. he’s just smarmy, it annoys me lmao

13. Describe your delinquent outfit. (Would you wear something like Murphy’s jacket with the spikey red shoulder patch or have a trademark like Jasper’s goggles? Be creative, yet practical)

i would probably have a pretty normal shirt and a thick jumper. i like yellow, but that probably wouldn’t fare so well with hiding in the woods and such so i’m gonna go with a dark green. that + trousers + my trusty walking boots.

14. Favourite type of mutant animal?

the glowing butterflies are pretty great!

15. What would your job be on the Ark?

probably counselling or something? i can’t imagine i’d be very high up, but probably with people a lot, i’m no good with machines

16. Would you have willingly pumped Ontari’s heart if Abby asked?

yeah but my face would be like D: the whole time

17. If Lexa wasn’t Heda, but she was still alive then who would have made the best commander?

Indra’s my go-to! she has experience, she’s level-headed, she’s respected, and clearly a strong fighter. i would follow her into war is what i’m saying here

18. How would you act if you ate the hallucinogenic nuts like Jasper and Monty?

i’d probably get loud and just start talking over people and offering opinions that no one asked for then fall asleep

19. How would you have dealt with Charlotte’s crime? A more John Murphy approach or Bellamy Blake approach?

i’d never have turned her away from the camp, but she definitely wouldn’t get away with it scot-free and i’d probably keep her away from the others to keep her and everyone else safe

20. Who should have been the Chancellor, if anyone?

jake griffin :’) he has a strong code of ethics, he’s smart, and he’s kind

21. Would you have been on Pike’s side like Bellamy or on Kane’s side? Or Clarke in Polis?

Kane’s, but probably somewhat removed from the drama

22. Mount Weather had a lot of modern commodities. (example: Maya’s Ipod) What is the one thing you would snatch while there?

i feel like i should say their advanced medical supplies, but i’d probably just take the iPod tbh! love me some music and i know maya had good taste

23. What would your Grounder tattoos look like? Hairstyle? War paint?

i looooove those winding tattoos that go all around arms and legs like vines, so maybe something like that? and my hair is pretty short so i’d probably wear it as it is, but maybe add tiny braids. as for war paint, i can’t be bothered to do regular makeup so i don’t know if i’d even do it. minimal if anything.

24. Favorite quote?

“My mom was the revolutionary. I’m just trying to make things right.” It’s Maya lovin’ hours! i don’t know why, i just really like this one. i’m not sure it’s my favourite, but i can’t think of anything else right now

25. If all of the characters were in the Hunger Games, who would have the best shot at winning?

Octavia, but only if someone else killed Bellamy, she’d never do it

26. Least favorite ship? Favorite canon ship? Favorite non canon ship? NOT INCLUDING CL OR BC OR BE

Least: uhh i don’t really dislike any ships that much but i guess i never really got the cl.exa hype

Favorite canon: up until s5, i really loved kabby! afterwards, i have no idea tbh a lot of the ships didn’t quite do it for me in s5 but i enjoy becho

Favorite non-canon: i’m hoping for the rise of niytavia this season ;)

27. A song that should be included in the next season? If there had to be another guest star like Shawn Mendes on the show, who would you want to make a cameo?

well hopefully we become friendly but i would probably also go a bit nuts

i choke on berries in the background of a massive fight scene

raven but preferably not just bc she’s sad again. also i would like to not perish immediately afterwards.

spacekru! i would not survive either of the other environments at all

i like to think i’d be the leader of some cool underground revolution, but publicly i’d follow her because she’s terrifying. i think i’d read and write and sleep a lot

34. What crime would you commit in the Bunker that lands you in the fighting pits?

underground revolution as mentioned above! alternatively, i am the blanket thief

35. Up in Space, who would you bond with first? Who would be the most difficult for you to get along with?

the100!tabby is gonna follow monty everywhere, let’s be real. i like to think we’d get on. as for most difficult...i’m not good at reaching out to people, so it would probably be a while before i ended up close with echo purely by virtue of neither of us ever starting a conversation

36. How long do you think you would last on Earth by yourself?

oh god, not long at all. i have zero survival skills, i’d starve. madi would have to parent ME

37. When the Eligius ship lands what do you do?

probably reveal myself and make it very clear i am in no way a threat- i’m not clarke griffin, i’m 5′4, unarmed, and i look like i’m made of noodles

yeah i’d do it, but i’d hate it. i’d try to avoid killing her, but if she needs to be incapacitated, then i’d do it for the safety of everyone else

probably sleep, i’m not sure i could handle that life in isolation

more or less the same lot. i’d actually wake Gaia too, she’s the Flamekeeper and might know some helpful hints about flame culture and stuff. she certainly knows the history.

AU Nylocke (TOME) I’m putting this here because this is the Nylocke that is apart of the Omega Timeline. Where Nylocke had a twin brother (Nye is Colin-based on tta Nai’s name, and Martin- because Martin Billaney), who died. He is also the world’s best hacker, even better than the main villain of the blog, which was revealed once, but never by name. URL with Omega.

Hao Asakura- This was semi-based on the manga and the anime mixing. the story the blog was based off of is actually still on Fanfiction.Net i named Angel of the Devil (https://www.fanfiction.net/s/6203556/1/Angel-of-the-Devil) Feel free to read it! There are 9 chapters!

Glitchy Red (Pokemon Creepy Pasta)- He was based off of many different piecemeal creepy pastas (Lost Silver, Pokemon Black, Strangled Red, Glitchy Red, small stories about the candle instead of flash, but used in a house it would burn it down, and the rope inside would make you hang yourself). This blog got me into KORN.

Demon Eyes Kyo (Demon Eyes Kyo)- I read this manga in the 6th grade... it is fucking bloody and gory, so don’t look it up if you are weak stomached. I used him as the Guardian Spirit of Hao on his blog instead of the Fire Spirit.

Beelzemon (Digimon)- I had him on a blog I have yet to mention, but you’ll see why I haven’t yet, that blog is in a category all of its own~

Luka Cross (OC- No other affiliation)- She is a girl with the power to summon elementals. From fire and ice spirits, to even the goddess of the moon. Her goal is to gain the power of Elder Summoning. Aldo Omega is in this AU as the guardian of the Library of Summoners, and he is an Elder Summon.

Luka (TOME)- She is the little sister of Xirra. A different kind of virus, hers is a contact epidemic virus that spreads through touch. She has her hands covered at all times, and is very shy, but is almost second to none in hand to hand combat, being at least 30 time stronger than her just 4 foot stature would lead you to believe. she is also a lolita that wears extremely tall boots, and yet she is still very short... like just under 5 foot short. She also dates a giant dragon... and she sounds like Hinata from Naruto... she is an actual baby that is months old

Speaking about Tsukuyomi and Wizard, I just realised that she matched the criteria of Sora/Gremlin’s victims… [1/6]

I would also like to see Mamoru Miyano playing Zero on-screen. :) About human forms, I do not think the generation who were born after the Plasma Spark turned their race into Ultra was born with natural human form. Alternatively, they actually had one but preferred to use their host forms out of fondness for the humans they once shared a body. [2/6] 

The Ultras lived for billions of years; their hosts’ faces were the only memento of the friends they had on Earth. Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legends the movie was set 500,000 years after the end of Mebius. Can you guess what this mean? [3/6]

One of Mirror Knight’s knight parents was from the planet Esmeralda, and he used to be its protector together with Jean-Bot. The space pirates who raised Glen Fire was also came from that universe. I think, despite how busied they were protecting the multiverse, the UFZ would try to have one free day in a year to visit their families, so they probably met with Ran and Nao each year. [4/6]

As I said before, Mebius was a love letter to the Ultra franchise, and considering it was made to celebrate the franchise anniversary, Tsuburaya worked hard to make it the best. Tiga and Dyna set in the same continuity, so I suggested that you watched Tiga first before you watched Dyna. Gaia was separated from the other two, but because I loved Gaia a lot, I suggested that you saved it for the last. XD [5/6]

If you want to watch Cosmos, I suggested that you watch Ultraman Cosmos: The First Contact. This movie was a prequel to the series and explained why Mushashi was chosen to become Cosmos. Musashi had an awesome dad. [6/6]

*shudders* Oh god, please don’t remind me of Gremlin xD Now that was a creep!

You know, personally, I would find it a bit weird if an Ultra used a human form based on a host they once had, especially if said host is still alive. With people like Mebius who based their form off a real human I can get it since the human didn’t survive, so it’s a way of honoring them. But can you imagine Zero coming back to Geed’s Earth and instead of taking Reito again as a host, he would just create a human form that looked like him? Imagine the utter confusion and shock from poor Reito seeing an identical copy off him on the street? Now, I’m not claiming that an Ultra taking a human form modeled after a human who was still alive has never happened, I don’t claim perfect knowledge. It’s just that that seems really odd to me and something I, personally, would never do if I was an Ultra xD

I have actually wondered if some Ultra’s (those born waaaaay after the plasma spark) created human forms based on what they themselves would look like should the Plasma Spark never have been created. Like their pre-plasma spark appearance is a genetic code that’s still hidden somewhere within them. It would be neat, like some secret glimpse into an alternate reality. A future that could’ve been so to speak ^^

Wait wait... hang on. If that movie takes place 500,000 years after the end of the Mebius series, then how come Mebius is credited as ‘only’ being 6800 years old on the Ultra wiki? Please don’t bring time travel and the likes into this xD I’m already having trouble enough wrapping my head around Zi-O logic as it is xD. Ultraman with all it’s alternate universes and different versions of Earth is more than enough confusing for me xD

Ok, so Tiga first, then Dyna and then Gaia? Got it! ^^ As for Cosmos, so you recommend watching the movie first before starting the series itself? The download for Tiga and Cosmos are finished and I’m downloading the Cosmos movie rn, it’s still at 0% tho ;;, hopefully it’ll come through or I’l need to look at other subbed sources to get it
