Love the thought of Leo just casually being well traveled to absurd degrees. Like one day they’re facing their new Big Bad of the year and like, Draxum or whoever says that the key to their fight is located somewhere in, like, Latvia or some place, but no one knows where to start.

Then Leo’s like “oh I know a place” and when asked how the heck he could know of one it smash cuts to Leo falling through the ceiling of said place due to a portal mishap.

Also love the idea of Leo, being as accidentally (and then later, purposefully) well traveled as he is, sometimes taking his family on outings to different places all over, maybe to some new Yokai spots he found along the way.

In these places, Leo 100% lets his bros get scammed by tourist traps.

honestly the funniest gideon to me might be immediately post-show. where hes fresh out of jail on parole and trying to be a better person. my headcanon is they commuted his sentence to a mixture of therapy and community service (they uh. had no choice after the decision to both ignore weirdmageddon and also the prison got destroyed) and he accepted this in his attempt to Be Nicer

How do we feel about Beach wear Noritoshi....

Everyone thinks he'd go covered head to toe wearing those wet suits divers use, but no. Noritoshi isn't the type to want to attract attention to himself when it's not needed, so he'd try to blend in. Emphasis on try.

He's the guy wearing a covering or some shit. I think you'd have to fight him to wear a translucent one. (if you splash him with water, you'll acheive the same effect thoughahahaha) even though it's a beach, he's trying to find an appropriate way to cover up, hes just like that. yes to sunscreen ofc. I can see him in a sun hat, but it's not his.. maybe he took it from one of the girls

Now yes, in general, I like Giles, and people do make some good points on the subject, but I always feel what I see people say about Willow and Tara in season 6 regarding payment, and why they act like it falls on Buffy and not them, to be a bit harsh.

Because this is two women who are what? 20, maybe 21 who have stepped up to look after their (best) friend’s little sister after their best friend had died. Yes they moved into the house, but come on, who else would be looking after Dawn which they did for several months out of how much they cared (side point, part of me always wondered if Tara at least was still paying for a dorm, after all, she managed to moved out quickly and she would have only realised she moving to the Summers’ house very late, but that’s just idle speculation).

Yes they could have tried to get jobs (but do we actually know if either worked part time properly in the Magic Box). But a lot of the money issues weren’t on them, it was things like the hospital bills and everything adding up.

This isn’t to say that this should have fallen on Buffy though.

Because do you know who’s responsible to watch her, who is, at this point of the show, actually being paid to watch her, paid because Buffy threatened the Council to pay him again, and to pay him back pay he should have got, who moved back to England to live on his fancy estate, still being paid and still earning money from his shop

And I know he gives her something, and I know you could argue, well, he wanted her to learn how to stand on her own, but I don’t think paying her for Slaying, which is basically her job, would go against that. Instead it might give her some freedom to figure what she wants to do in life

okay so who’s gonna write the fic where logan and wade have been together for forever but shit really hits the fan in their universe (they are still fighting against paradox and other baddies along the way) and the two of them find themselves backed into a corner when it comes to not only saving their universe from being pruned again, but to save logan and cure his adamantium poisoning/slowing healing factor

and just when things couldn’t get worse, cable comes back from the future to save wade from the pruning, but he sees wade with logan and is shocked he’s moved on so he’s feeling a whole lotta “wtf he’s mine i still love you lets try this again”

cue logan reminding nathan that he made a choice to leave wade. things got too serious for nate, and he just can’t show up out of nowhere expecting wade to drop everything just for him now that he’s ready to try for real this time

cue nathan reminding logan that not only did he date his dad, but he has sabotaged almost every good relationship in his life. nate thinks its just a matter of time until logan does it again and that he doesn’t want wade to be “just another name lost in the centuries”

then cue wade feeling like shit because he never forgave nathan for leaving and both him and logan don’t have a lot of time to deal with this plus having to find a cure/save the universe

AND THEN cue complicated feelings for all 3 of them while they try to figure this shit out because logan is starting to understand why wade loved nathan and nathan is starting to understand why wade loves logan and wade is starting to catch feelings for nathan again but doesn’t want to put logan through a throuple situation after knowing how the first time went. wade is also still not over nate abandoning him and there isn’t much nate can do to regain trust again

AND THEN AND THEN there’s a big reveal where you find out that wade’s healing factor has begun to slow down as well, and his cancer has started to come back little by little. logan is convinced that in being together for as long as they have, it’s his adamantium that’s making wade sick and he’s thinking about making wade leave their universe with nate so he’d at least have a fighting chance. he doesn’t want to tell wade the real reason why he wants him to go, because he doesn’t want wade to feel sad/less likely to go/guilty about logan dying without him, so he’s starting to act different and is on the verge of wanting to purposefully push wade away to make it easier for the both of them

nate also thinks that it’s logan’s adamantium that is making wade sick again, but he’s been around enough to know that wade will get worse just being apart from logan and he doesn’t think he can do that to wade, even if it meant saving his life. he feels like he’s hurt wade enough and maybe he needs to figure out why he’s even involving himself in all of this before making moves. maybe it would be best that he leaves so no one else has to get hurt or disappointed. maybe wade being sick isn’t something he’s meant to be around for or fix

BUT THEN you have wade, questioning his decades long relationship with logan for the first time in a long time, trying to hang on to the hope that neither one of them are right; that nate is wrong about logan adding their relationship to the tallies of things he destroys and that logan is wrong about nate getting ready to leave cause wade dying is just too serious of a situation to be around for. you have wade, who has always been capable of loving everyone but himself, and is hoping that this time and at the very least, just one of the people he loves love him enough to stay

at some point in all this, none of them know if they’re gonna fuck or fight. or both. so they fight then fuck then fight some more idk dude these old guys are just slutty af in my head

…

DAY 7: Summer!!!

Kiran summer alt real!!! Much like the Day of Devotion alt, I was actually toying with a design for this a while back, but never got around to cleaning it up. Which means its bonus sketch time! Yippee!

So this started as me wanting to draw that summer Sharena design after seeing xander-wolk take a crack at it, which you can find here. It was meant to be more of a warm up sketch but next thing I knew all four of my guys are on screen.

Then I explored the outfit a little more. Debated giving Kiran more dangly bits. But I ultimately settled on what usually works when drawing Kiran; throwing a coat on it.

Day 7: Vacation PS: Hi to the Italians that will see this and will recognize all the dumb Italian refs I sneaked ahaha

All right at the risk of sounding like an absolute psychopath I went through all the stills for this week and analyzed everyone’s watches. (I am a full fledged 30+ year old adult with way to much free time, bite me.) Any who:

The maddy, chim, hen picture: Maddy’s watch looks like its maybe 9:25am. And hen/chim are both in different outfits than the hospital scene.

The scene with Eddie and buck when Chris is presumably headed out with the grand parents is at roughly 7:45am according to Eddie’s watch. Also different outfits than the hospital.

The kitchen scene with Eddie and parents is at like 10:10 according to Ramon’s watch

The living room scene between buck and Eddie is harder to determine because bucks watch is awkward. It’s looks like it’s anywhere between. 8:30 and 9:30. Which would fall in line with the kitchen scene with Eddie’s parents.

Lastly is the buck Tommy date which I can only barely see the hands on Tommy’s watch. It looks to be somewhere between 5 and 6.

Realistically I’m not sure if the props department puts in that much consideration to watch time but I had fun playing detective.

Sadly I could not find anything to determine the time of the hospital visits.

I made it! And in time! Despite some tribulations, I managed to complete this art piece for @hatstacheweek right on time for the first day’s theme of Summer/Beach/Pride (wasn’t sure if all the themes were required but I got em all anyway). I'm normally pretty ambivalent when it comes to shipping, but the Hatstache ship is cute and has grown on me a bit, enough so that I decided to put something together this year.

So please enjoy this alternative AHiT ending where Hat Kid gets to actually spend some time with Mustache Girl and enjoy a day at the (formerly) Mafia Town beach (also they have some kind of strange bacon towel, how about that 🙂).

Its admittedly not the most inspired drawing, and I tried to do something different with the shading this time around but kinda got lazy towards the end so the quality is all over the place, but I'm actually really happy with this piece: Its definitely one of the more detailed things I've drawn in a while (I even included a background! 😲) and I've been struggling with art motivation-wise for a while now but I genuinely enjoyed working on this from beginning to end.

If time allowed I honestly woulda worked on it even more, but I was determined to post it on time, so I'm satisfied with it as is.
