The best Ogata video essay just dropped

Thought I'd share this with you, I stumbled upon this video essay on YouTube and oh god it's sm better than "The Perfect Psychopath" one...No hate to the OP but this interpretation is way more correct in my book

Little bit of explanation on this. I have this pretty strong headcanon that Ogata has serious issues with accepting that a good person like Tanigaki could love him and struggle with those feelings, so he ends up provoking him until things escalate in violence. He smiles because he obtained what he wanted, the proof that Tanigaki is just like everyone else. There aren't pure people in this world and anyone can become violent and hurt someone. I know this is darker than my usual stuff but I really wanted to explore this side of them too. Uncensored on Twitter
