Noah Mills is ready to go back to work!

Following the official end of the SAG-AFTRA strike, the NCIS: Hawaii star is ready to make his return to the Big Island and spring into action -- literally.

"It's all pretty quick now, I think," Mills tells ET's Kevin Frazier via Zoom in Los Angeles. "Tentative like Dec. 4. We start shooting, and you know we have such a great crew and such a good machine over there going from the first two seasons that we can be up pretty quick."

He adds, "Everybody's really excited. And just super grateful to be able to go back to this fantastic job. NCIS Hawaii, that's my fam. Right now, I miss my castmates, miss making the TV, the episodes. I know we have amazing stuff written for the season. Time to not leave the fans hanging. Get some episodes out."

The 40-year-old action star says that he found out the exciting news while walking his dog, and knew as soon as SAG made the official announcement, it was real.

"I got the call from my manager, and he was like, 'Hey, it's over.' I was like, 'Oh, really? I gotta wait to see it to believe it.'  Then SAG announced it," he shares. "I gotta give a lot of respect to the crews and stuff. That's hard. I haven't been a member of the union that long, this has been my first union strike. It was really interesting to see the solidarity, what that means and also sharing in that, because we all have our different guilds. I know a lot of those guys were going through it kind of before us. So I was very aware of that. And just, you know, wanna give them a big shout-out and make it up to you guys, you know, get back."

Getting back to work means making sure he's in shape. Mills says that he's been staying in the gym during his time away from work and is ready for whatever stunts he has to do.

"I'm so excited," he tells ET. "I'm so excited for that because it's a big part of our show. I think they want to amp that up a little bit. I think the action and the island and the water work, and everything that people like. I think there's plans to do a lot of that. So I've stayed ready."

He adds, "We have a fantastic stunt team out there, too. So I trust those guys with my life, literally, when you're hanging from a carabiner and doing stuff. I'm excited to see what they have drawn up for us."

Joining Mills and the rest of the NCIS: Hawaii fam in the new season is LL Cool J -- who starred as Sam Hanna on NCIS: Los Angeles for 14 seasons. 

"Are you kidding me? I'm so excited," Mills says about the superstar's addition to the cast. "I'm like, really, I'm gonna be, you know, sitting out with LL Cool, J. I got to work with him on the NCIS crossover The Mothership. He's so cool and just has such a strong presence and is an experienced actor. I mean, he was telling me stories, that guy was going to Studio 54, when he was 16 in New York. He's done it all. So I'm so excited. And you know, he's just like one of those people who's really interested in me and what we're like over in Hawaii. We got a heavyweight coming. So it's gonna be great."

Mei ran her fingers across the keys. Oh, how she loved the fell of a real piano.

Nothing against the keyboard she had at home. That’s all that would fit in the apartment and she would always be thankful for her parents’ unwavering support of her interests and gifting her it.

But Yamaha had done well with its Ivorite replacement for ivory and it lent a very different feel than the regular plastic keys of her device at home. And that was just the surface. Real pianos had the weight of the levers and inner mechanics that could be felt when pressed. It was so much better than keyboards that worked more like laptops with membranes or rubber domes or whatever Shiki had explained for closing circuits or whatever.

And of course there was the smell. Mei had always preferred the smell of wood over plastic. Even if the exterior was treated with lacquer, the interior still smelled more… natural.

“Any requests?” Mei asked.

She could hear her single audience member consider carefully.

“Toccata in E Minor.” Shiki said after a minute or so.

Ah. Classical. Excellent.

Although not one of the more… popular? was it fair to say anything of Bach’s was unpopular? Perhaps just not as well known? Except of course by Classical enthusiasts, of which Mei considered herself.

She had always loved music, as it was a primarily audible experience, and desired to make it herself at a very young age. The piano lent itself well to this desire. No special embouchure needed to be learned like so many wind instruments. No special arm angles or pressure or holding techniques or the like for so many stringed instruments. Even a blind child could press a key and make sound.

She had eventually learned many other instruments over the years, and their special requirements to play them. But the piano held a special place in her heart.

And classical music as well. Even before her parents found braille sheet music, she was teaching herself how to play simply by listening, finding the keys that produced the matching tone, and remembering where they were. And so many classical works were written specifically for the piano or had piano adaptations. So, she had listened. And mimicked. And even started creating her own.

Her love for music was even part of what helped get her hooked on live theater, by way of musicals. But that was a different obsession for another time. Right now, it was time for classical music. It was time for… Wait.

“Shiki…”

“Yes, Mei.”

“Did you request Bach because he was blind?”

“I requested a piece I have not heard in a while.”

Mei searched her friend’s tone for notes of teasing, but only found sincerity.

“Would you prefer I request a piece from Händel?”

Well, there it was. That was the teasing Mei was expecting.

“Warne?”

“He wrote mainly for the organ.” Mei pointed out. “Wait, are you just Googling blind composers?”

“Perhaps.”

Mei felt foolish for half a second, having forgotten that she wouldn’t necessarily hear Shiki tapping at a keyboard or screen, as the mad scientist could instead use the sensors in the devices she wore to type in midair.

Mei huffed. “What do you actually want me to play.”

“Toccata in E Minor.”

“Truly?”

“Yes.”

“Fine.”

With that, Mei positioned her fingers, and began to play.

I’d’ve liked to get in a story for NicoMaki and YuuAyuSetsu, to include all of my favorite LL pianists in with the Classical prompt, but I ran out of time. Que zura zura. Not like I can’t write such stories outside of the event.

Ok since this is where I post my fandom stuff now, I'm just gonna write it here. But I miss Sumikeke from LL Superstar so much lol

I just finished rereading one of my favorite fics ever about them and it's such a masterpiece. Still so amazing today. It contains so much yearning and feelings and depth that even though it's like at least 30k words long, it ends way too quickly and I'd happily read more and more.

It's not like I can't keep shipping Sumikeke now, but I was going through the tag again and another tumblr user put it really well: their dynamic and characterization was absolutely ruined in season 2, which is also why I felt really unpleasant watching it and had no idea how to react to the canon confession scene. It's nice that it happened at all, sure, but by that time, my love for the ship had already begun to fade (for reasons) and s2 seemed to just confirm my annoyances, frustrations, and fears.

I loved Sumikeke though. Don't get me wrong. I actually don't regret any of the time I spent on them at all, and I truly had so much fun indulging in this love of mine. They were great and brilliant, and I know people have different feelings about it (even going as far as calling it abusive :c ), but in my opinion, there was a method and an art to smkk that I tried to convey when I spent those times in college writing actual fanfiction for them lol.

First of all, and this is a big reason why I fell out of love with it, smkk is a bickering couple, but there's a line and nuance you need to have, otherwise it does turn abusive and boring and not romantic at all. When I first watched season 1, I was drawn in by how kind and gentle Sumire could be (big sister-like, taking care of Keke or giving her soft looks) and I latched onto that immediately. I dunno how fast it took to show up, but maybe by like episode 3, I was already eyeing them and wondering what kind of dynamic we'd have there.

As for Keke's antagonism towards Sumire, there was an obvious reason for that. Sumire was looking down on and using Liella to bolster herself, but to Keke, Liella and school idols were everything. It's a natural conflict that arises from people whose goals and opinions differ and who obviously clash over ideology and dreams. Keke would tease or snub Sumire, but it never crossed into actual bullying or anything, last I saw. Just the expected bickering between someone who actually might not like the other and Sumire, who knows she messed up and tries to make up for it, but it's fine if relationships aren't all sunshine and rainbows. Actually, I used to really love the tsundere trope and tsundere-like couples, so when I shipped smkk, I liked them in a more tsundere way. As the anime progressed, their relationship clearly improved and even had plot relevance and all that, and I was really impressed by all of it and fell in love and wanted to give back as a fan by making as much delicious smkk content as possible.

The method to the madness is Keke is childish, demanding, and even annoying maybe (I liked Keke tho lol), but Sumire loves her and since they're teenagers, they eventually grow out of such childish behavior/bickering but the fact remains that they love each other and it's really sweet and cute to see. Sumire was my fave Superstar chara (probably still is? idk), and I just looved her love for Keke and completely enjoyed coming up with story ideas that would showcase that. It's liking someone and having a crush on them even if they're kinda annoying but since you like them, you can look past that. It's that kind of love...!

But anyway. To be quite frank, the fandom ruined smkk for me, and I'm sad I let it happen. If smkk is like 50% arguing and 50% fluff (which is kinda a high percentage, I'll give you that), the fandom kicked it up a notch where it was like 90% arguing and 10% just deciding to make out after saying super cruel/dumb things to each other. I saw a lot of unpleasant things I really disliked (including straight-up immoral SA stuff) and I saw that my excitement from checking the tag eventually turned into aversion and eventually dislike/annoyance/irritation/frustration/anger.

Season 2 having them continue to bicker for bad reasons didn't help things and it felt like the anime was on the fandom's side in that regard. It's fine to give the fandom fanservice, obviously, but that's when I kind of lost interest for good and moved on.

But I truly had a fun time loving smkk, and it had so much potential and was so good. I really truly enjoyed it and that's why I miss it. I think with the release of SIF2 and seeing smkk in there, I was reminded a bit of my old fire (my old love), but in short, it's really unfortunate when fandom (or the show itself) ruins something for you.

I could say the same about my immense love of Shioriko and how I was really disappointed how they wrote and treated her (in the anime and side materials like Nijiyon too), but part of that's personal bias. The true Shioriko I like is probably SIFAS Shioriko and the other Shioriko's exist as their own entities, but since they're all supposed to be the same chara, it's hard to love her in the exact same way if you get what I mean, especially when I had such high hopes and expectations. It's ok though: such is life.

Anyway, I obviously like loving and affectionate ships a lot more than, like, bickering ships. Smkk was just special to me because when two girls act like that canonically, it's a lot easier to claim they're into each other or hiding feelings for each other. I also want to add that I liked the idea of Keke being embarrassed of her feelings for Sumire and that translating a bit into aggression-- obviously as Keke gets older or her feelings are reciprocated or her friends accept her for who she is, she gets less teenage-y about it.

That was a trip down memory lane though. I really care for LL, even though it breaks my heart sometimes. "Expectation leads to resentment", they say, so maybe I shouldn't expect anything at all?

I miss these girls and hope they get better writing. I'll still love yuri and shipping girls for as long as I live xD

This post is a tierlist pertaining to nothing but Furirin music. (LET'S DO THIS)

As we're getting closer to Moonrise's first anniversary (September 23) and the release of 「ハネムーン」 (September 29), it feels right to at least share my thoughts on her music so far (except I have to do this the hard way). With that, let's dive in, chronologically, starting with her first mini-album. Note that I'm only going to base my opinions (Rank SS to D) on the song/music aspect and NOT the MVs.

「Moonrise」

CITY: A (how could you not want to blast this on maximum)

シンデレラタイム：SS (personally, my favorite song she's ever done for having a kickass intro and a chill mood vibe)

Yの悲劇：B (YADA, OH THE YADA)

ラブソングをかけて：A (it's actually a depressing song)

プールサイドカクテル：C (This was the one I anticipated all throughout the summer only to be misled; still a decent song).

OUT OF BLUE: B (I actually have a bad habit of singing this on my way home)

Overall, for a first mini-album, I do, for the most part, enjoy this tracklist. Of course, it was meant to be listened best while driving (please drive responsibly when you get to track 3, for the love of God). Though the music is infectious, there are moments where Furirin's vocals are a little odd (I'm looking at you, track 5). Other than that, this is one solid piece of a debut.

RUMIKO：A (too much Ranma feels for whatever reason)

At first, this was a slight improvement when I listened to it initially, but has grown on me since. She has improved significantly since the release of Moonrise, and so has her music, even if it seems like Track 5 gets less treatment. Anyways, this is still a step into more progression and success.

「AXIOM」

AXIOM: A (DON'T THINK, FEEL)

With only two tracks on a vinyl record, I'd expect much more but you know what?? Even with only two, I'll surrender with content. The latter track packs a massive wallop with that smooth 80s riff. It surely is getting better, isn't it?

Actually, this is where the hype comes to a halt. This next one...is her most recent track and, I'm about to go into a full criticizing rant. First off, let me get something off my chest. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen the post already, but I'll reiterate here.

When it comes to songs involving the theme of "wedding", immediately, I will walk away and turn on something else. Why? It triggers an embarrassing moment from 14 years ago. At that time, my father was getting remarried. In the back of my mind, I wanted NOTHING to do with it. However, my ass got forced to participate as a bridesmaid.

I hated it. I hated every single fucking minute of it.

These kinds of occasions drain everything out of me to the point I leave as a ghost and come home looking like 90 years passed. (To clarify, he is no longer married as of a few years ago due to rumors).

With that being said, let's talk about this particular single, whose MV just dropped this morning (and I tried so hard not to use this word, but I am not gonna be so nice about this).

「Secret Sugar」: D(ON'T YOU EVER PLAY THIS AROUND ME EVER AGAIN)

It's not just the theme that turns me off. The arrangement may be decent but, that's as far as I go. Everything else is a DISAPPOINTMENT. Even at first listen, I was severely underwhelmed by just how wrong it felt. It didn't feel like something Furirin would do. In a city pop, no, in an 80s sense, this was too safe. ABSOLUTELY TOO FREAKING SAFE, which Furirin is not. The Furirin I have seen so far is a risk-taker. Her first two mini-albums were strong and AXIOM was taking it to the aethers of a promising stellar void, but then there's this song that stopped everything in its tracks. Enough said.

Now, I have a feeling that her next single, 「ハネムーン」 , will set things straight back to course for higher success. Until then, that is all for my tierlist. In the 1950s, Nicky Sinclair founded the first talent management agency in Simlywood. During its heyday, the company signed about 80% of the notable names on the billboard charts. Nicky himself was nicknamed the Rock God Father of Simlywood, until his gender transition (that was another story). Now going by the name Nicole, she has launched ambitious plans to make the brand great again by making headway into the filmmaking industry and by refurbishing the Nicole Center, renamed from the original Simlywood Star Agency.

The Nicole Center, designed by thefourthrabbit, features a 1930s roaring heights theme, where your sims can enjoy a classic martini at the luxurious bar in the conference hall after watching a fashion show in the famous Show Room. Young and ambitious showbiz sims will find themselves waiting anxiously outside the audition rooms or practicing pop dance moves in the dance classroom. Only the luckiest ones get to meet the Rock God Father (or God Mother) and have a drink with her in the office on the top floor, which overlooks the Simlywood city. Here at the Nicole Center, dreams only come true for those who dare to dream.

I watched superstar’s first episode and yea it was a pretty solid opener!

More undercut bc this post got long

I wasn’t expecting the opening to happen but sadly I don’t really like anything about the song nor visuals outside of good cg use. But we finally get to see the new first years in action! I absolutely adore kinako so far like she has a very good first impression. I also wasn’t expecting mei’s voice to go two octaves higher when she’s being a dork about liella. Also with natsumi I felt like I already had a good idea of what she’d be like but she sometimes has moments where she reminded me vaguely of nico. I have no comments about shiki she’s lowkey my least favorite among the new additions.

I do like what they’re setting up the story to be, as they’re trying to get their name out there because they feel like they’ve accomplished nothing. I’m still impressed that love live is actually allowing the girls to age which lowkey some people expected given the premise. I think liella is complete now but a part of me feels like we aren’t done yet due to the strange lack of purple or white image colors in the group.

However, my biggest concern is the usage of the og members. I feel like chisato, ren, and sumire already have completed their arcs in a sense but I don’t want the two former to be reduced to bg characters and the latter as the comic relief. Kinako’s already joined the club so I imagine they might be trying to get in the new girls in while managing the og girls. Also this is a personal nitpick but sumikeke seems to have regressed back to just keke kinda bullying sumire for no reason like it was kinda too much of the same joke in a single episode. I don’t really talk much about ll ships i dislike but i do genuinely dislike nicomaki and yuupomu but you know what..at least the two ships have moments of downtime and times where i see that they genuinely care for each other(though this is mainly the case towards nicomaki my feelings towards yuupomu is complicated 🥴). I know love live sometimes forgets character development for some characters but this is one of the times where it impacts my enjoyment of the show…I won’t hold it against the show that much because it’s inevitable for them to showcase some ships often. Anyways, looking forward to the rest of the season and here’s hoping i enjoy it more than nijigaku’s s2.

I've always known that Taylor felt the way that she felt since I first became friends with her. I was always not afraid to ask her questions about what her stance was. Every time she answered me, it always felt very genuine and very not hesitant. She didn't choose her words carefully like she was trying to say the politically correct thing. She just said, 'This is how I feel. This is just how it is. It's a basic human right.' She would almost like - if it were cool and popular to say "duh" right now - like that was how easy her response was. I am glad that she has gotten to a point now where she is sharing that with the world because I do think that oftentimes - I mean, she is a heterosexual female who is white - so I think that a lot of people who would initially gravitate towards her might be people who have very different political views, and very different views on the world in like, what should happen with the Black Lives Matter movement. Or what should happen with gay rights. And I think her being someone who they feel safe with and who looks like their next-door neighbor, I think that's part of the appeal of Taylor Swift - that she is the girl next door, and even though we don't live next door to her, she makes you feel that way, and the second you meet her she is immediately disarming because she does feel like the girl next door. She is the girl next door, it's just part of her being very amazing. It's really, really awesome to see her using her voice, because the sad truth is, her being a white person with blonde hair and blue eyes saying this, in this world right now holds a lot of weight to a lot of people who feel very differently than she might. And I think that she's changing a lot of minds and a lot of hearts. She's playing a huge part in this evolution that's happening in the world and with the conversations that are happening in the homes that need to have them. [On whether they've been in touch these past few weeks] We have been in touch and we've had a couple conversations and I wish I remembered exactly what she said because, you know, she talks a lot about white privilege and when you realize that you have it, and that you have to be willing to do the research. She talked to me about the fact that she read a lot, and watched a lot so that she could educate herself. I think that she understands that a lot of the reason why people don't understand or think that this whole concept of white privilege is a myth is because the fact that you are white and you can choose to not acknowledge it is a privilege in and of itself. And she realizes that, and in her own words explained that to me. You know there's a movie called "A Time To Kill" that I love, where a huge impactful (spoiler alert) moment in the movie is where a man says, 'I chose you as a white lawyer to represent me because even though you want to be on this team, you are not. You are on that team. So you need to say to those people whatever you would say to yourself to change your own mind.' And that's such a powerful moment and I think that Taylor saying it to people who look like her, who might have come from the same background or potentially same belief system, I don't know what Taylor was raised to believe - I know her parents and I know that they are so open and loving with everyone, but sometimes you just don't know the things you're being subconsciously taught. I think that you have to be willing to put down your ego and not take it as an attack on yourself, and open up and say - I realize I have been a recipient of privilege and this is what I am going to do to acknowledge it, address it and to help change the world so that everyone receives the same equal treatment. [On things Taylor said about him for his Billboard cover story] To read the nice things that Taylor said, it made me feel great because at the end of the day you can have a million followers on every platform, but if at the core of who you are you don't feel that you are a good person and that you are doing positive things with the platform you've been given to help change the world for the better, then why do you have it anyway? Why are you in this game? And that's why I love Taylor so much because she does use her platform to uplift people, and the fact that she acknowledges that I've always been honest with her, always been really true about how I feel about her... I love that girl so much, I can't even express to you. She's just... I get so protective of her because her heart is so pure, and in this crazy world that we live in there are very few people that you meet and after time and time and time again, I just keep seeing how pure her heart is, and how much she loves, and how empathetic she is to what's going on in the world at all times. That's very rare to find in a human being, but even more rare to find in a superstar who has everything at her disposal. She could use every dime that she has to buy more houses and a bazillion cars, and do things to uplift herself. And she is constantly waking up every day doing things to uplift other people. So many things, I wish I could be the person telling everybody all of her business, but she does so many things to help people that she would never talk about, and knowing her - she is doing it for the right reasons but it's just... she is a very rare human being. I am honestly blessed to know someone that is so sweet. [On whether he was gonna perform on Lover Fest] No, there were no plans, but with Taylor - she is Sagittarius and it fits her personality. She is so easy going, when we were on the set of YNTCD I was like, 'What do you want me to wear?' She was like, 'Whatever you wanna wear.' In fact the jacket that I wore was so gorgeous, I saw it in her dressing room and I fell in love with it and it was something she was gonna wear but she was like, 'If you like it, you wear it. It's fine, I'll find something else.' I would never do that on my own video. Never! She makes me wanna be a better person. I just gave a kid a bubble jacket that I wore for the Billboard article because I just knew that it would mean so much to him - and I learned that from her. It was inspired by the things that I see Taylor do.

“The result of the appraisal is inside this envelope. Nito-dono, would you do the honors of reading it?”

Nazuna: “Yup, gotcha. Lemme see… The result of the appraisal is一”

“It’s apparently a replica, but this scroll is still a hundred years old.”

Tetora: “Umyu~ That’s too bad, Shinobu-kun.”

Shinobu: “Yeah, a little. But it’s still from the Taisho era. It was still a long time ago compared to when I was born, so I’d still consider it valuable.”

You rolled on your back, your heart still racing from your passionate lovemaking. You watched in silence as he fished the spare key of your apartment from his pocket, and placed it on the table before walking out the door. LFG was bustling with activity as the employees went about their daily grind. On the top floor, the CEO paced back and forth in his office. He had been feeling restless since last night, but he had no idea why. Throughout the sleepless night, he typed messages to you several times but never sent them. He smiled wryly at the thought that you might be getting the wrong impression once again. 

But you had an appointment with him at ten in the morning, and you were never late for your meetings. Until today. 

His head snapped when he heard the light rap at his door. Soon after, you poked your head in to check if he was busy or not. 

"You're late, " he said, not sparing you a glance. 

"Yes, and I'm sorry, " you replied silently, as you entered the room.

He looked up from his paperwork and sat back. "Not offering an excuse for me this time?"

"I have none, " you said. "But I have an explanation."

"Do you know? Let's hear it, " he gestured with his hand, encouraging you to speak up. 

You took a few deep breaths to calm yourself. Though he never admitted it, you always felt that he treated you differently - like you actually mattered to him - and what you were about to say to him would probably break his heart. 

"I… I… well, I…"

He frowned as you stammered, and he watched you twist your fingers together. "Is everything alright?"

"Yes, " you nodded. "The truth is, I was gonna send Anna to take my place today, but I thought that would be improper."

He narrowed his eyes as you spoke, silently assessing what could be wrong. And then he saw it - a faint glimmer as the light hit your wedding band. "I see, " he said. "I have to change my evaluation of you. Up to now, I thought you were the worst idiot to walk this earth. Apparently, there's someone even stupider than you…"

"Hey -"

"Who's the unlucky man?"

"His name is Gavin, he's a police officer, and he makes me happy, " you replied, stressing on every word to get the message through. 

The twenty-eight-year-old executive was silent for a while. He knew the guy - he was rough around the edges, but he was an extremely talented Evol Agent, probably the best in the force. He sighed in resignation. 

"Well, I suppose I owe you a present for your wedding, " he finally said as he took out an envelope from his drawer and tossed it across his desk to you. 

Curiously, you opened it and saw two tickets to a Carribean cruise. He watched as your eyes widened and your lips stretched to a smile - the widest and most beautiful you've given by far. As you held the tickets in your hand, he felt his heart sink. He did intend to give those to you today, but he had hoped it was him you'd be taking with you on your well-deserved vacation, but fate wasn't so kind. 

"Now get out of my office and tell Anna to come. You need to go on a proper honeymoon as commoners do."

"You know you could be less of a jerk about it, " you said, faking a frown. In reality, you felt relief wash over you as the regular rhythm of your banter returned. "Thank you for these, Victor!"

He waved you off and waited until you closed the door before he picked up his phone. 

"Goldman, I'll be taking the rest of the day off today. Cancel my appointments. I won't be reachable for the next twenty-four hours."

On your way to pick up Gavin, you made one last detour to B.S. Entertainment. Kiro was guesting in your new talk show tonight, but you wouldn't be around to watch it so you thought of cheering him on early. 

As you made your way up the elevator, you silently wished he wasn't shooting anywhere today. 

"I didn't expect to see you this early. Have you come to pick up Kiro?"

You smiled as his agent greeted you quite warmly. Normally, he'd be too swamped with phone calls to even nod at your direction. 

"Quiet day today?"

"It's quiet now. It was crazy this morning, " he replied, scratching his head. "If you want to see him, he's in the studio rehearsing for tonight."

An enchanting melody filled the air as you walked to the recording studio. You recognize the sound - Canon in D - your favorite, being played beautifully on a solo violin. You snuck inside the closed room and were immediately entranced by the vision before you - Kiro with his eyes closed, playing so exquisitely, you couldn't help but applaud when he finished. 

"Hey! When did you get here, Miss Chips?"

You laughed at his term of endearment, which he never seemed to get rid of, after all this time. 

"That was so amazing, Kiro!"

He blushed slightly and then regained his composure. "Of course, it is. I'm rehearsing because I'm playing your favorite tune tonight," he said, as he bounded over to you. "So what brings you here this early?"

The earnest look in his eyes made you want to cry. You haven't been anything more than friends, yet it felt like you were going to do something horrible and your heart couldn't take that. 

"Hey…, " the superstar said, taking your hand in his. 

You notice his eyes widen as the cool metal of your band touched his palm, and he suddenly brought your left hand up to inspect closely. 

"New ring, Miss Chips? It's cute… and it almost looks like a wedding ring…"

You cleared your throat. "That's because it is."

As his gaze drifted from the hand he was holding to meet yours, you could have sworn you saw a tinge of hurt in those blue eyes for a split second, and he forced a bright smile on his face to cover it up. 

"Really? That's amazing!"

"Yeah, it is. He's a great guy. I wish you could meet him, " you trailed off, as you let his hand go. "But anyway, I'm here now because I won't be able to come to the show later. We're going on a trip for a few days, so I thought I'd come to cheer for you before I go."

"Aww… You didn't have to do that, " he joked, messing up your hair. "But thank you for dropping by. I- 'll dedicate the song I play later to you."

"That's so sweet of you, " you beamed. "Thank you, Kiro!"

"No problem, " he said, his smile plastered upon his handsome face. "So, I guess I won't be seeing you for a while."

"Yes, but I'll bring you back a souvenir from our trip!"

"I'm sure you'll have lots of fun, " he mused happily. 

"I sure will, " you seconded. "But right now, I gotta go. Gavin should have been done filing his leaves by now."

"Yeah. Well, take care and don't overeat!"

"I'm not you, Kiro, " you called out as you waved and turned to exit the room, your head on the clouds as you thought of your trip with Gavin. So caught up in your daydream, you failed to notice the smile disappear from the pop star's face, as he brought his hand up to brush away his tears. 

7:30 pm

Willow texted that Kiro was up next, so you turned on the television to listen to him play.

"I'm still surprised we got a present from one of your business partners on such short notice, " Gavin said, as helped you pack. "Pretty lucky, huh?"

"I'm pretty lucky, " you replied, hugging him from behind. "Because I'm married to the best guy ever!"

He chuckled. "Is that so?"

"Of course. Where can you find a guy who would shop with you without a complaint, carry all the bags, and then help me pack for our honeymoon?"

"Mmh… either he's great or he's just crazy for you, " he said, turning around slightly to plant a kiss on your forehead. 

"And speaking of great, he's pretty great in bed, too." 

He smiled at your sly comment and straightened up. "Is he now?"

"Absolutely."

In the background, you could hear that the host had just turned the floor over to Kiro and that he was going to perform anytime now. But all that was forgotten as your lips hungrily sought Gavin's, and he matched your passion with his. He made quick work of your clothes until you were stripped down to your panties. He lowered you in bed and kissed every single part of you, as Kiro played for the audience, a song he dedicated to you. 

A few doors down, Lucien lay on his bed, attempting to read while the TV was on. The apartment felt unusually cold and empty tonight and the Finale of Tchaikovsky’s 6th symphony that Kiro played beautifully on the violin did nothing to lighten the mood. He sighed and dropped his book, defeated. While it pained him to admit, he had everything and let it go - and now he had nothing. Nothing without you. 

Down the road, Victor took another shot of whiskey and asked his personal bartender to refill his glass once more. He lost count of how many glasses he's had as he played billiards by himself. The bartender turned up the volume to listen to Kiro's performance, and he paused briefly to listen. He'd never felt regret until now - for treating her the way he did, for not being honest about his feelings… for not having the power to turn back time and change things - for if he did, then he would've been the man she was making love to at this moment. 

And as Kiro played the last chords of the symphony, he finally allowed his tears to fall.

Apologies and Announcement!

So first off, I want to apologize for my absence. I've been incredibly busy with school and parenting (infant). Now that my schooling has turned to online classes, I'll have more free time.

Second! I don't know if anyone is already doing this (so I apologize if someone is) but I've just noticed that next month is Kiro's birthmonth, so...

I declare April as Kiro Month!

I only thought to do this since I've been noticing that my work from Gavin Month is still getting publicity on here, so I thought, why not give our pretty superstar some love too?

Napping with Richard in his trailer on set. He’s on his side, pressed right up to the back of the small couch, and you’re squished right into his chest, fingers clutching his shirt, with his strong arm around your middle the only thing keeping you from falling off the edge. Just the epitome of comfort. Taron walks in to tell him its time for makeup and upon seeing the pair of you all cuddled up he goes all mushy and even snaps a quick photo that ends up being Richards lockscreen

“that ‘honky cat’ shoot was so long, i’m beat” richard steps into his trailer and you turn down the music, sitting up on the couch. he undoes the tie and slips off his button up, sighing as the tight clothes come off his body. he sits next to you, head back against the couch, eyes closed. you run your fingers through his hair, and he smiles softly, looking at you. “do you wanna take a nap with me, my love? i have 2 hours so they can set up for the next shoot. i mean it’s lunch but i’d much rather sleep”

“oh no no. i know you. when you don’t eat, and you’re hungry, you’re cranky. eat something, baby” he sighs and grabs his sandwich out of the fridge, unwraps, and takes a bite. he swallows, turning to you.

“happy?”

“very” you kiss his cheek and grab your charger from your bag, plugging in your phone and laying your legs across his lap. “i heard the shoot, peaked outside. it looked fun”

“was. but tiring” he throws away his trash and slips on a comfy shirts and pulls you into his lap, hands on your waist with your hands on his bare chest. “now i get to do my favorite thing in the whole world, which is be with you” his eyes sparkle and you smile, leaning down.

“so cheesy” you mumble against his lips and he laughs, hand on your lower back. you pull away and kiss his neck, then rubbing your thumbs on the side of his neck. “do you want to nap now?”

“don’t have to ask twice” he mumbles and you turn off the light, richard lying down. “where are you going, baby?”

“to let you rest”

“no no, i said i wanted to take a nap with you” he pulls you down onto the couch with him, his back against the couch, your leg over his waist. his strong arm wrapped around your back, your fingers gripping his shirt as you snuggle deeply into his chest. you tilt your head up and kiss him softly, then snuggle into him again. you rub his back until you hear his soft snores, falling asleep yourself.

taron softly knocks on the door, waiting for a response, but got nothing. “i’m coming in, don’t be naked!” taron opens the door, ready to see you and richard going at it, thinking this as he sees the lights are off. he looks to his right and smiles. “aw, a nap would’ve been a good idea” he snapped a couple photos of you and your husband, taron turning on the light, which made richard groan and pull you into his chest more. “wakey wakey lovebirds” he teases and you laugh, stretching and sitting up.

“hi sexy” you smile up at taron. taron strikes a pose in his robe and white pants, making you laugh.

“richard, make up’s gonna start in 15″

“thank you taron”

“oh, and i’ve also sent you two photos i took of you two gross lovers” you stick out your tongue at taron and he presses his forehead against yours, making you laugh and he kisses your cheek. “i’ll see you soon madden!”

richard gets up and changes into his costume, and you smooth it out, looking in the mirror and sighing. “oh, how was i so lucky enough to meet you, richard?”

he picks your chin up with his finger, nose against yours. “i ask myself with you, my love. i love you, thank you for being here and supporting me. i don’t know how you do it”

“true love, baby” you kiss him passionately, his hand holding your cheek as your foot kind of kicks up behind you. 

“i love you, princess”

“i love you more” you smile. “now go be the superstar i know you are”

he smiles and kisses you again, and you watch him walk how, wanting his to stay a little longer. a couple seconds go back and he comes in, kissing you more passionately than before, making you smile. “richard!”

“i’m sorry, this shoot’s gonna be a a little long and i need a kiss. okay, i love you, i’‘ll see you later princess” he kissed you again and he actually left. you take his phone and plug it in, smiling at his lockscreen that he had changed, which was the photo taron had just taken of you two napping. you changes yours and smile, changing into his shirt and falling back asleep.

Kitty´s hair is getting longer and she can recognise this as her curly long hair is spread around his shoulder and chest. In his own words, Kitty looks like a cute cat(and he chuckles as she looks at him funny. He adds, amused, she also look like a puppy too) and their hands/tentacles are untied. Is a calming moment among a human and Chaos itself.

"Hey, were you ever married before?" Kitty asked trying to hear his heartbeat. His mask is perfect in every sense, but, he´s not human and that´s something many, many people never realize until is too late.

No Heartbeat is found.

Kurt just chuckles again. His own laughter seems to vibrate through his body and Kitty has the feeling that the universe can feel it too. For some reason, that does make a smile born in her face.

"You mean if I was ever needing of a wife for my plans? Well, yes, and no, whatever happens, was consensual. Some lesser gods take women, men without caring for ethics" and flashes a big smile "when I was king of Kaldrum" and he´s not surprised by the fact Kitty knows this planet and this faction "I was married to a woman. She was a good cover!"

"Well, yeah, I can see you being a king and needing a Queen. And when you´re just being YOU?" now her face is directly making contact with his. Kurt won´t mention she´s in a compromised position now. He´s a gentleman.

"I mean, have you as well you, ever want company? The cats told me you´re the forever alone, but, you´re very, very old so I found hard to believe you never had anyone to share the night" Kitty explains and now Nightcrawler is pondering. His tentacles are playing with her hair.

When her hair got so big? Is almost full of life.

(LK can remember vividly of a certain case of a certain Outer God walking in his domains with such lively hair...)

Nightcrawler chuckles again. Odd how such malicious god can have such calming and soothing laugh, well, this is a special moment sure he keeps his ''evil laughter'' to work hours.

"Well...once upon a time another Outer God pretending to me be, doing a comical job at that" Kitty for some reason frown at that. "was walking down my realms and I got to admit she was ballsy for her endeavours. Do you know who she was?"

"Zaorva" she speaks as if is a question but deep down she is well aware is not.

"Yes, she! And is now funny how people really think she was me. The sea of dogs that follow her should have been a big clue" Kurt responds bemused "yes, yes, some cats follow her as well. Still...dogs!"

"Hey! Dogs are pretty cool as cats too." Kitty feels bothered by his comment for some reason. Kurt notices. IT smiles now.

"Anway, she also eats my snake god" now he feels sad and Kitty rolls her eyes. For some reason, she´s thinking in chicken when he details how Zaorva eats his favourite pet snake "and I would be very cross with Zaorva " his eyes trail Kitty´s petit form as she shakes her head not believing him and IT knows she is right. As if IT would hurt her "she also changes Anubis into a dog"

LK watches as Kitty rants about this case. "That fake dog. He was advertising himself as a dog, a good boy, but, in the end, he was just a human with a good aesthetic. I didn´t like that story and yes I can see Zaorva changing him into a dog to teach him a lesson" she crosses her arms.

LK is amused.

LK is also worried. The woman lay her head on his chest as she continues to talk softly with him and, for once in his entire existence, LK is listening gently.

Am I getting soft? Better go destroy something latter.

Jupiter is drinking his water looking at the moon. A full moon indeed. And back to Cosmo who is staring so intensely at the moon. "Hey, you won´t turn into a werewolf, right?"

"Jupiter, we talk about it. Werewolf is a human thing." Cosmo replies and asked something to Jupiter. "hey, remember when you asked about my patron?"

"The lady with many, many and many names? yep"

"Do you still want to meet her?"

"As long she´s not a werewolf..." Jupiter side-eye to the dog who rolls his eyes again.

"Not a werewolf, promise. And you´ll meet her soon. Right after Pheonix arrive on Earth"

"What?!"

The phone rings in Kitty´s newest residence. A superstar("guys, I´m not that famous!" "Don´t be modest Katzchen") living with her parents is cute until it isn´t. And when Kitty answers are the X-men begging, that´s right, begging for her help.

"Is Jean...she´s not alright" Ororo´s voice is speaking in a low tone as if she´s hiding. She can hear Dazzler and Rogue shout something and a third voice saying "Ah, damn I just finish fix the ceiling!"

"What happened?" Kitty asked with Cosmo on her lap.

"A team of X-men were sent to Space to help the Shiar´s civilization...but...but...Jean returns differently. Could you help us?"

"Of course, I´m on my way"

Cosmo only gives on a word to this situation. "Firebird."

Jupiter now has questions. Is this part of the dogs´ plans?

Jean Grey is fine. In fact, more than fine as now she sees everything with total clarity. Logan is not having a good time as Jean´s power is upgraded to the maximum.

"Am I still a myth little man?" she said in a deep voice. Non-human like as she, using her powers, juggle Logan among other objects. "Apology and I may stop it"

"Jeanie. Please, that´s not you" Logan pleads. "Please, for what you feel for me"

"Urg. Seriously? Did I have to fuck Scott Summers in your face for you to get I don´t love you? You know what? Stay here thinking about your life...if I´m the mood I may kill or change you, whatever strikes my fancy"

And no one manages to take Logan from that punishment.

Kitty arrives with Nightcrawler and, of course, Jupiter and Cosmo who have mixed reaction to seeing Jean Grey aka Pheonix in the flesh. Jupiter is scared ("I think she knows I eat many birds on the way here") Cosmo is calm and a bit bored("Ok, ok, you can stay behind me. I´ll protect you, but, can you stop using the slim form? Is freaking me out") Kitty is surprised and Nightcrawler is laughing in a mocking tone.

Pheonix is not happy to see Nightcrawler. But smiles gladly at Kitty. "Is good to see you again even if IT is here" Pheonix replies to a very smiling and creepy Nightcrawler.

"You´re Pheonix!"Kitty states calmly playing with the deity hair as if she´s a small child. "Does this mean you eat Jean?"

"In other versions? Yes. In this one? No. We merge, so to speak. She was made to be my vessel" Pheonix respond as Kitty is playing with her hair "She is not very fond of you"

"I noticed. Jean Grey is not good in being subtle ...just like me" Kitty jokes and the good moment is broken as Pheonix turns to Nightcrawler and speaks with venom in her voice. "And you! Keep your damned cats away from my birds"

"I can´t control my cats"

There´s something oddly familiar in this scene. "You two ...know each other...intimaly?" Kitty was sure they were exes with a bitter past. Nightcrawler and Pheonix are disgust by the question.

Kitty is somewhat relief by this revelation.

"So...Jean is Pheonix?" Scott asked once Kitty explain the situation. People were hoping for Kitty to fix this situation, and deep down maybe Kitty could take Pheonix out of Jean´s body, but, for some reason, she does not want.

Pheonix arrives first. She´s a fair person.

"Think of this way. You have a relationship with Jean now" she points at the red hair who has control of her choices and frowns as she recalls Pheonix let Kitty braid her own hair. "and a relationship with the Firebird of life and destruction. Pheonix"

Scott looks at Jean for a moment. "Is something really strange. And don´t know what to think right now, but, Jean is here and that´s what matters as for the Firebird, I mean Pheonix, well, uhm...I´m open to date an Outer God" Scott jokes cracking a small smile from Jean.

"Dazzler" Pheonix speaks and the blonde can feel the fire even in her small words. Dazzler bows to the Outer God. Pheonix seems to enjoy the love and respect she got.

"Relax, I don´t have any mission for you, in fact, me and Galaticus are very pleased with your track so far. I´m here to ask one thing" Pheonix draws suspense for a moment and Dazzler waits for the question. She hopes she won´t take a page from Zaorva/Gaia and ask something impossible, however, she chooses something different. "When Kitty punch Nightcrawler, did it feel pain?"

"Extremely so. I have the memories if you want to see it"

"Yes, please. I have Jean´s recollection of the case. I watch from space, but, oh that still is worth watching"

Nightcrawler is watching is not impressed.
