People tend to think it says "Respect the Pretty" which, honestly, I do think I'm attractive (it's the lips, definitely the curly hair, and maybe the big eyes), yet I would not be as cocky to write such a username. I try to humble myself out time to time, so life doesn't have to.

But because people misread my username, some are shocked when, you know, I'm petty.

I've tried to evolve in recent years, but every now in then, I'm just really fucking petty for no good ass reason.

I'll be petty about the reason I hate a show, like shooting the main character on Christmas Eve (Bad Buddy). Or the reason I refuse to discuss the colors in a show, like the main character says "Hia" too much (Cutie Pie). Or even the reason I won't watch a show, like it's simply too damn long with 50 episodes (The Untamed).

You know? Petty shit.

But I'm doing a lot better minding my own business and not being petty to others. I have contained my petty to my little space on Tumblr, so now I just try to respect the petty instead of being petty, which is why some of my favorite characters are the pettiest.

Because petty respects petty, and we can't help it if we're also pretty.
