felix being referred to more or less exclusively as "your soldier" in-game speaks to how little the writers put into his character beyond his noggin full of sith secrets & his relationship with the consular; still, i do find it kind of sweet and funny, in a way. he's not a republic soldier, not even your personal bodyguard; he's your soldier. the consular is a small nation-state in and of herself
#accurate.#felix iresso#swtor#jedi consular#open tags for My Rant:#going back through rishi and doing the cute little holocron quest got me brooding - as i often do - on my best boy felix#that the writers could not think to give him anything in KOTXX that wasn't Torture Angst is deeply shitty but a little understandable.#all the other consular comps kind of have a way forward that isn't consular-related when the consular goes away#nadia has the jedi. zenith has balmorra. tharan has his old illustrious career. qyzen has little baby clan and also his religious directive#meanwhile felix isn't involved with your order or a supergenius or a politician or even someone with a lifelong goal#he was a guy doing his best at a dead-end job that turned into a far more enjoyable but still lowkey dead-end job#i would argue they could (should) have sent him to ossus but i can see them balking because Doc was already there#that's a little narratively redundant especially bc Doc has an extremely useful set of non-martial skills you would want to center#when telling a story about survival and persistence against the odds like with ossus#(also he was in the group of companions second-closest in proximity to the emperor in base game)#HOWEVER.#because i am immensely sexy and cool and have a huge brain i think i've cracked it#the way to give felix a compelling story post-consular is to put him the fuck in charge.#no longer your soldier or anyone's. his own. maybe even in charge of a large group of people in need of someone to follow#considering he used to be really good at that#a group like...idk...maybe the rest of the people incarcerated on his prison colony?#much to think about.

I like to think that Obi-Wan has weird plants that he keeps on the ship during the war because after living with Qui-Gon for so long it's weird not to have any plants and no Cody he doesn't even like plants why would you even think that--

-AHDH girlie who has historically never been able to keep a diary, planner, calendar, schedule, or routine to save her life, and got distracted while hand-writing a list to look up said planner.

GUYS HELP A JEDI!BATFAM AU SNUCK INTO MY HOUSE AND KICKED THE SHIT OUT OF ME LAST NIGHT
#me: haha what if batfam and star wars#my brain: ... plot#me: oh no#i even have the timeline already figured out#bruce used to be a jedi who was sorta outcast for being a little ruthless#he never wanted to take on a padawan#but then dicks master dies and bruce who also lost his master as a Padawan sees himself in dick and takes him in#this is around when anakin is taken in too#so like years pass and eventually dick graduates to knighthood#and then bruce finde a force sensitive street urchin and bahm he decides Padawan number 2#then the clone wars starts#he trains jason until he tragically loses jason in a sepratist battle#he thinks Jason is dead but jason is actually captured by the separatists#bruce takes on tim because Tims master was feeling overwhelmed by the war and raising a Padawan and tim begged bruce to take him on even tho#bruce decided no more padawans#he reluctantly takes on tim and trains him until order 66#order 66 is given in their venator and dick is present for that mission#its a jfo situation where bruce dies helping dick and tim escape#tim believes Bruce isnt dead and wants to find him while dick just wants to find a safe place for them to hide on the planet they crashed on#dick eventually kinda picks up tims training but everything changes when thalia (possibly a separatist force user?) shows up and reveals#damian. she doesn't think its safe to raise him as hes force sensitive anymore and gives him to dick#eventually theyre hunted by inquisitors and GUESS WHO THE INQUISITOR IS#is Jason :3#eventually they manage to convince jason to leave the inquisition#soon it becomes a jedi knite a padawan a untrained force sensitive and a former Inquisitor take on the empire#jin rambles#i lost sleep over this

Started messing with my Mud Jumpers (canon) + Crawler Company (my OCs) again - because I love my Jedi and I love Whistle sm - and thinking about Wyren and Yeong-Ja's fucking Coruscanti asses having to get used to slogging it out in the mud with Dover, Whistle and the rest of the boys. Debating really making Wyren all delicate and able to sort of avoid getting dirty for the most part or if I want to piss them off by getting them knee deep in it and having to modify their jedi robes.
I think Wyren and Yeong-Ja with the 224th go through more of the trench warfare aspect of tcw, while Triu - idk what to call his unit - goes through the more humid awful jungle full of crazy ass monsters and shit aspect of the war. I think it adds a point of contention between him and Yeong-Ja when they meet because he's like "Aww you had to play in the mud? Boohoo, we got pulled into the trees and eaten by things in the dark and theres 1 ft tall mosquitos chasing us." and she's like "Ok asshole, we have earthquakes caused by giant flesh eating sand worms from the center of the planet and keeps trying to eat us when we sleep and my men keep getting trenchfoot" And then they both realize both things suck.

instead of playing jfo I played red faction guerilla instead! finished it in one day, it's now in a special category of games that physically drain the life out of me!

I need to like get into actually watching TV shows this is brutal
#need to watch Clone wars Dead Boy detectives and Dunmeshi because they're all âreally good showsâ I âwant to watchâ and âwill enjoyâ#and like I wanna be able to talk about the shows more than the limited non actually watching extent#I've watched the accursed âlive action star wars showsâ and due to the curse of not having the relevant comparison of Clone wars I like em#man I need to actually see stuff about the Force Witches because they are so interesting conceptually to me#Like woagh the omnipresent life blood of the universe has more than just the jedi and sith interpretation of it!!!#and like you can use it in methods not just raw force#but I've only been exposed directly through Asoka which is very minor amounts at the end#and cuz it's at the end it's mostly just âlets do a whatever plot is neccesary/fight scene stuffâ#and then Acolyte WHICH wasn't enouhg and oagh I wanted so much more witch stuff (also didn't like the ending I was mad so much)#so many sacrfices due to the accursed ârunning out of runtimeâ and âneeding to setup proper story structure for season 2"#tbh I don't even know if Clone Wars going in depth about actually how Force Witchcraft works?#but tbh all I need is to see actual Witches covens function outside of like an exiled doing their own thing one and see the culture of it#tbf it'll be the war aspect of it but that's important!!! and I can go from there
