I think Oda genuinely doesnt understand how attractive he made Ace
Dudes obviously a looker, he’s smart, strong, kind beneath the prickly exterior and if you delve deeper fiercely loving and protective of those he sees as his family that he specifically chose
But hes also smart (x2 i kno i had to say it twice its bc i love him), hes captain of his own crew, hes trusted to travel the grandline by himself — still dumb that Marco didnt chase after his ass and yoink him back on the Moby like CHOTTO MATTE dumbass lets talk this through— but the fact flip coinside still speaks volumes, the WBP trusted Ace would be fine, tldr he wasnt fine at all lmfao but nobody can be blamed for this or for the fact Teach luckily straight up owns the polar opposite of Ace’s devil fruit
But hes sensitive? Attractive? Competent? A protective older brother figure?
Oda sensei come catch THESE CREechur PAWS NEXT TIME I SEE U GO HAHA I DONT DRAW HANDSOME GUYS
Ace might be a greasy man but he’s attractive bc of his personality how dare u insinuate ur men /characters arent attractive when all the strawhat men are like supermega contenders for husband of the year (excluding chopper bc hes a kid)

Thoughts on My Adventures with Superman S2 FINALE
Tumblr media
This has me kinda scared because Normally when this happens, it usually means 2 thing's; 1 this is either going to be Very long episode or 2, Somebody's going to die, and with the way the creator's have been teasing us with Tweets about Kara's demise, I'm guessing it's the ladder, and if that's the case WTF DC
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also if had a nickel for everytime that a Giant spaceship threatened to Destroy Earth as a way to Rebuild krypton in a Superman story, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't alot, but it's weird that it's happened twice
Tumblr media
So lemme get this straight, this Lex is smart enough to build the parasite suit, have a fail safe for that, is able to frame Superman gaining Millions of followers and government access, infuse Kryptonite to Kryptonian built robots, but isn't smart enough to come up with a fail safe when said robots get hacked!?....yeah I call Bullshit
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hell yeah the Cavalry's here! oh, and Sam too I guess whatever, listen the FANS might've forgiven your ass for abandoning lois 6 episodes ago, but I sure as hell don't, in all seriousnes tho I am glad he got some sort of character development regarding his relationship with Superman, seeing it as how he is now trying to help him instead of ya know, Trying to Kill him 😅 btw I kinda feel stupid for asking myself how the heck they turned invisible, only to realize they were actually holding on to Only the character who Can turn invisible Lol 😅😅 also did anyone else immediately thought've Lobo when he said the Main man, no, just me
Tumblr media
Wow I can't belive they actually gave Kara the Winter soldier treatment, from the brainwashing, Down to him effing reactivating it like freakin Zemo, Well looks like Clark's gonna have to fight his cousin again, hopefully he doesn't end up like last time, or if not maybe Jimmy can talk some sense into her, Seeing as how it was seeing a picture of Jimmy which resulted in her breaking free from Brainiacs control, maybe this where he can finally confesses his feelings for her, Omg I would love that ^w^
Tumblr media
Wait you're telling me Brainiac Did it, that he's the reason why krypton exploded, that HE Killed clarks and Kara's parents!? Oh nah Brainiac gotta die now, also has anyone else how similar he is to Zod, from his reasoning, to his personality, to even this whole effing scenario, like This is some shit Zod would've done, and it's funny because I was actually thinking about this not to long ago about how we technically don't need Zod in this show because Brainiac fits that role perfectly, especially with how he's been depicted this season, Omg if this was an intentional Detail on their part, then it's official, this show never ceases to Amaze me
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Uh oh scary Kara's back, Damn it Brainiac why you gotta be such a Bitch; Also it may be nothing, but the way those missiles were moving kinda reminded of the way Darksides Omega beams would move, which got me thinking about something; What if Kryptons technology is possibly made from Apocalypse
Tumblr media
This shot is ABSOLUTELY Beautiful; from the colors, to the camera work, to even the Symbolism between him and the Sun, everything was just Screams Superman
Tumblr media
Tbh out of all the anime tropes they've done this season, I gotta say Talk no jutsu the 1 was NOT expecting them pull, and ya know what, I'm actually kinda glad they did, because it just fits Superman's MO; Superman has always been represented for kindness not his strength, like even if you've done him dirty, he'll still always choose to help you because that's just who he is, hes the person who just wants to help, he'll carry the weight of the world on his shoulders, he's the person who will try to stop a threat with his words before having to result to violence, he's the Man of Steel not because of what he can do, but because of who he is and always will be, hence why this trope works perfectly for him, it's the Perfect representation of what he embodies, Compassion, That's what makes him Superman
Tumblr media
Ok I have a few things regarding this scene, 1st off i Absolutely love my 2 star children, 2nd of all Kara don't throw him into the sun, that's how make Nuclear man 😂 3rd of all, in all honesty, I was not worried 1 bit when Kara got shot mainly for 2 reasons; 1 even tho she was clearly shot by Kryptonite, they were directly near the sun and if I remember correctly, the Sun is what gives them their power, granting them the abilities to heal from critical wounds as well as even more strength, and because 2, kryptonians have invulnerable skin meaning she won't burn up from the sun even if she falls into it, all in all touching scene but No stakes
Tumblr media
Kara's lighting's, Kryptonite Saber, Clean animation, Super sayian references!? OMG this episode is AMAZINGGG!! Also Kara's lighting's Red!? Ngl but I SWEAR I thought it was gonna be yellow, not because it would only go good with her hair, but because it in my opinion, it just fits her better, plus we did see kinda of it Start to spark in her fight against Brainiac 2 episodes ago, and since Clark's is blue it would only just made sense for hers to be yellow, hopefully maybe it can like evolve in season 3 or something, don't get wrong I like the Red but in my opinion, it just feels like a missed opportunity, In other News
Tumblr media
Eff yeah Brainiac's Dead! Be honest, how many of you actually thought kara was dead after that scene, because my heart immediately stopped after she passed out 😅
Tumblr media
Also can we talk about how Amazing Kara's suit looks, like Omg this Has to be one of the best desings I've seen, I just love everything about it from the colors to the boots all the way to especially the Cape, like I just love how it looks like a scarf UwU
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
AH siblings being siblings 😊 btw Love how he still has the shirt from when he was kid, Such a full circle moment, also when it comes to Kara's, this Kara, the kara from injustice 2, the CW show and even The FLASH movie are All of my favorite Kara's, every single one of them EXPECT and I can't believe I'm saying this, the 1 from the DCAU, like I'm sorry but in my opinion she was just too much of a hot head, and she barely had any screen time in Justice league, like I don't understand how did we stray so far from God, also she was incredibly weaker when it came to her cousin, this 1 on the other hand can slap her cousin around like it was a normal Tuesday, So yeah that's my Hot take come at me In the comments I dare you
Tumblr media
Well well well looks like instead of mommy dosen't need you anymore, it's more like We don't need Mommy anymore, hell yeah Lex's finally going to be the Villain next season and I soo can't wait, oh and what's this, it looks like slade is gonna be his right hand now, oh yeah Slex is Definitely becoming cannon
Tumblr media
🎵 Super rizz, Super rizz, here comes Clark's Super rizz 🎵
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And with that another amazing end to another amazing series, Overall this season was freakin Epic, from the animation, to the music, to the character designs minus the robots, everything was just epic, from Start to finish; only thing to do Now is wait for season 3, but I wanna know you're thoughts, What did YOU think of season 2, and what was your favorite episode or moment from this series, comment or just leave a like if ya enjoyed this Thoughts on series, and lemme know if I should do more of this, Anyway I'mma head out because this took a while for me to write and I'm feeling kinda burnt out, Anyway yeah thank you for reading and I can't wait to see you again in S3, and with that, Superman Saturday's has come to an end, well, for now anyway ^^;

chapter 4 here
Friday came entirely too quickly—you breezed through your last final exam on Thursday, which left you way too much time to anxiously anticipate your upcoming…event.
“Date!” Dina exclaimed. “Ellie asked you to go because she likes you, it’s practically a date,” she singsonged, twirling a piece of hair around her finger childishly.
“Yes, because I’m sure we’ll have so much time to talk one-on-one and gaze longingly into each other’s eyes in between performances,” you replied sarcastically, continuing to rummage through your closet. “And, you don’t know that she likes me, maybe she just asked me because I was right there.”
“Okay, for someone so smart, sometimes you’re a little stupid,” Dina said, and you shot her the most evil side eye you could manage. “Ellie may or may not like you like that, but she likes you enough to invite you to something that sounds personal and important to her. This is your in! Now, you just have to get flirty.”
“‘Get flirty?’ Do you even know me at all?” You scoffed, turning to face her. “I am, like, the most awkward human being on the planet.”
“Okay, I take it back,” Dina laughed, standing up. “Let’s just focus on finding you an outfit.”
“What the hell do you even wear to an open-mic?” You complained, turning back to continue looking through your closet.
“You could wear something of mine, if you want,” she suggested.
“Uh, no thank you,” you smiled, pulling out a plain black mock-neck from the depths of your closet, turning around and holding it up to your chest.
“Hey!” Dina gasped. “What’s wrong with my clothes?”
“No offense, but I don’t really think…whatever look you have going on is the one for me.” It’s not that you didn’t like the way Dina dressed, rather, you really did like it—but expressing yourself through clothing had always been hard for you, sticking to more muted tones, blacks and greys. Dina’s wardrobe was loud and colorful, she always looked so put together, and she never seemed to wear the same thing twice. You admired it, really, but still found yourself gravitating towards more basic clothing.
“Whoever said saying ‘no offense’ actually makes a statement any less offensive needs their ass beat, to be honest,” she replied casually, and you could hear her sorting through hangers in her own closet. “Just try this, at least. It would look nice with that shirt, I promise!” She was shoving a colorful chunky-knit cardigan into your hands before you could protest, and you grimaced.
“I don’t know Dee,” you held up the sweater, contemplating. “I never wear stuff like this.”
“Just put the damn sweater on and let’s go!” She smiled at you. “Don’t you want good seats?”
You rolled your eyes, but went to look in the mirror nonetheless. “As if there’ll be a fight for front row seats at a college open-mic.”
“Oh perfect,” she sighed exaggeratedly before rummaging in her desk drawer. “Then you agree, you have time to split this with me before we leave?” She held up a small, white tube, and you pursed your lips.
“Okay, fine,” you gave in, quickly pulling your shirt off over your head before pulling on the black long-sleeve.
“Just one hit.”
You did not, in fact, take just one hit. It was more like four. Or five…or six, or who could keep track, really?
It seemed like a good idea, a little something to take the edge off, maybe soothe the bundle of nerves that had formed in your stomach and in your brain and in your chest at the thought alone of seeing Ellie—god forbid, having to make conversation with her.
And while it did help a little, you hadn’t smoked as much as Dina, so it still felt as though your heartbeat grew louder with each step toward the theater. All that stood between you and Ellie—and, well, a handful of other attendees and performers—was a short corridor.
“It’ll be okay, just chill out,” Dina tried to subdue you, and her voice was thickened by her intoxication, slower and almost more serious. Her eyes were low as she smiled over at you, bumping into your shoulder softly.
“Thank you, Dina, because telling someone to chill out always works so well,” you quipped, shaking your head as she led you through the doors. Though, you did try to chill out, as it were, taking a deep breath and sliding the sleeves of the oversized cardigan up your forearms, nervously tugging at the neck of your long sleeve, fidgeting with anything you could think of to distract you from—
“Oh!” You exclaimed as you ran directly into a body around the corner, staggering backwards slightly before someone was gripping your arms, keeping you steady. Your eyes trailed up the body before you were met with—oh god, “Ellie!”
“We have to stop meeting like this,” she laughed melodically, smoothing her hands down your biceps before flashing her teeth at you. The chatter of the other attendees faded into the background as you felt your body heat up under her stare, painfully aware of her hands that were still on your arms.
You could do nothing but let out an awkward laugh in response, nodding your head as she took her hands away. Dina cleared her throat obnoxiously from behind you and you turned your head to give her a look that you hoped conveyed: please for the love of god save me.
“Hi, I’m Dina by the way, or you probably know me as ‘the roommate,’” she said, sticking out her hand past you for Ellie to shake, and you had to admire her confidence for a second, the way she could unapologetically be herself in any situation. You’d think that from spending so much time with her, some of that confidence would have rubbed off on you, but no, you were still just…you.
“Nice to meet you, Dina,” Ellie smiled, and her voice was laced with honey, rich and slow spilling from her lips. She reached her hand past you to shake Dina’s, and you moved out of the way slightly.
“I’ve heard so much about you,” Dina dropped her hand and stood next to you now. You looked over at her in shock, and you hoped the shaking of your head and wide eyes weren’t noticeable.
“Uh, not so much,” you laughed nervously, trying to subtly kick Dina’s ankle.
“Wow, you really do have that guitar player look to you,” she ignored you, gesturing to Ellie. “I love the tattoo!”
Your eyes were daggers glaring into the side of Dina’s head, but neither her or Ellie seemed to notice—though it was debatable whether that was good or bad. Ellie chuckled, instinctively looking down at her arm and holding it out as if to show it off. You felt like sinking into the floor, watching her arm flex as she rotated it, skimming her fingers down the length of her forearm, tracing the pattern.
“Thank you,” she was slightly bashful, despite her eagerness to show off. She caught your eye for a moment and—were her cheeks turning red? It is pretty warm in here with all these bodies…yeah, that’s it.
“Well, anyways, nice to finally meet you Ellie, I’m gonna go grab a snack,” Dina smiled politely between both you and Ellie, before patting your shoulder and slipping away. Oh god, why would she leave you to talk to her alone?
“I’m so glad you could make it,” she said, and suddenly everything was fading away again. You took a moment to look down at her outfit, trying to be as discreet as possible. She adorned a light blue flannel, cuffed just above her elbows and a pair of dark Levi’s—her hair was pulled back, save for a few pieces that fell loosely around her face, which you noticed she tucked hastily behind her ear when a strand tickled her nose before she said, “I love that sweater, by the way.”
Dina was going to have a field day with that one.
“Oh, thank you!” You exclaimed, instinctively wrapping your arms around yourself. She smiled at you before continuing.
“Anyways, I’m up last, so don’t feel like you have to stay for the whole thing, if you get bored or anything,” she explained, pointing at the stage behind her. “I’m just glad you could make it.”
On the inside, you were swooning, your eyes were in the shape of hearts and you wanted to reach out and embrace her—you wanted to smell that warm vanilla musk and the earthy savor of weed, you wanted to tell her you wanted nothing more than to spend all your time with her, know her inside and out, you wanted it all.
“No, no, I came here for you,” you said instead, making fists around the material of your sweater and smiling at her. “Of course I’ll stay.”
Ellie’s face flushed again, and you continued to insist it was due to the heat of the room. She glanced behind her, and you followed her gaze to see Dina filling up a plate with what looked like one of everything from the table.
“I should go get ready,” Ellie mumbled before turning back to you. “Why don’t you go grab some snacks with Dina and I’ll catch you after the show?” She sounded hopeful. You nearly choked.
“Yes, I’ll be here!” Of course you’ll be here, where the hell else would you be? You mentally face-palmed yourself before she was giving you a smile and disappearing into the crowd. You took a deep breath and made your way to the snack table, where Dina was still loading up.
“Oh, hey!” She said when she finally saw you.
“Hey, thanks so much for embarrassing the hell out of me,” you complained, stealing a cheese square off of her plate.
“Embarrassing you? Please, I was helping you,” she laughed before stuffing a grape into her mouth. “And it kinda worked, didn’t it? I set you up for a nice little chat with your girlfriend.”
“Oh, shut up,” you bumped her shoulder, but you couldn’t fight the warmth that climbed up the back of your neck. “Let’s go grab a seat.”
The acts that preceded Ellie were actually entertaining—a few songs, a poem or two, and a stand-up act that wasn’t…terrible. Not to say it was good but…you know.
And then the host, who you assumed was Ellie’s roommate, was waltzing back on to the stage as the audience applauded, her short black hair reflecting almost blue in the spotlight. She was eclectic, all mismatched patterns and silver jewelry that hung from her neck and her wrists and her ears. She was funny and vibrant, commanding the attention of everyone in the room every time she stepped onto the stage to introduce the next act.
“Alright folks, please give a warm welcome to my best friend, the one and only, Ellie Williams!” She tucked her microphone under her arm before clapping, moving out of the way of the small stool that was behind her. Best friend? Ellie had only said she was her roommate.
But it didn’t matter, because Ellie was walking on to the stage with her guitar in hand, smiling nervously at the crowd. You clapped as loud as you could, trying to reposition your body so that you could see her slightly better over the heads in front of you, though you doubted she could see you from your seat somewhere in the middle row.
“Uh, good evening, everyone,” Ellie started, positioning herself on the stool and pulling the microphone down to her level. “I’m gonna sing a little song for you guys, if that’s cool.” There was a bit of scattered applause and Dina whooped loudly from beside you. You smacked her with the back of your hand.
Your heart was beating out of your chest, partly from the excitement at getting to see Ellie perform, and partly from your second-hand stage fright. Even though you weren’t the one performing, you always seemed to absorb the nerves of the performer, just waiting for them to make a mistake, even if you didn’t want them to. You especially wanted this to go well for Ellie, and you bounced your leg nervously as she positioned her guitar in her lap.
She strummed the first few chords and you nearly had a heart attack.
C, A-minor, F-major. You could probably play those in your sleep, now.
“Holy shit,” Dina whispered from beside you, and of course, she knew too, from the hours and hours you spent listening to the song, practicing the song, getting taught the song.
“Did I drive you away?
I know what you'll say
You say, ‘Oh, sing one we know,’
“Dina,” you whispered back, leaning into her, but not being able to peel your eyes away from Ellie. “Is that…?” But you already knew the answer.
“Dude. She’s so. Into you.”
“But I promise you this
I'll always look out for you
Yeah, that's what I'll do,
You couldn’t help the smile that slowly spread across your face as you leaned back up, watching Ellie lose herself in the song. Suddenly, you were back in her room, the air thick and heavy, watching her sing softly and strum along when she thought you weren’t watching—that little crease between her eyebrows and the dreamy look in her eyes as she sang with the voice of a thousand angels.
Maybe you had a hard time believing Ellie was into you, but she picked this song knowing you would be here. There was no denying that.
“La, la, la, la, o-oh
La, la, la, la, o-oh,
The song ended entirely too soon, and she was smiling, standing up and adjusting the microphone back into a higher position. Applause was erupting from every side of you and you clapped as though you were the only person in the room, as if she could see the intensity in which you showed your recognition and your appreciation and your utter giddiness.
The host was waltzing on stage again before you knew it, and gave Ellie a hug. You ignored the jealous twinge in your heart, for god’s sake you had literally hung out one time, and the applause continued as she thanked everyone for coming, wrapping her arm around Ellie’s waist and requesting one last round of applause for all the performers. You continued clapping, watching Ellie raise her guitar in the air like a glass of champagne for a toast, before the host whispered something in her ear that made her smile. You again ignored the skip of your heart, instead focusing on Dina’s hand gripping your arm.
“Oh my god, you have to go say something to her, ask her out, something! The suspense is literally killing me,” she whined, pulling you along as the lights slowly turned back on and people shimmied out of the aisles.
“I can’t just ask her out, it’s not that easy for me,” you replied.. You wished it was easy for you, you wished you could be more like Dina, just walk right up to her and say: I think I really like you, and we should go out sometime. But your anxiety paralyzed you, rendered you completely helpless when it came to love and lust.
“I swear dude, if I have to sit through any more of your pining and love songs I might request a roommate swap,” Dina said, leading you back to the snack table. “She likes you. And if you can’t see that at this point I don’t know what else to say.” You pouted a bit, like a petulant child, crossing your arms over your chest and surveying the room. Before you could even formulate a response, Ellie was emerging from a group of people who had gathered opposite the table. You quickly uncrossed your arms as she caught your eye and made her way toward you.
“Oh look, who would have guessed,” Dina muttered, popping a grape into her mouth. She smiled exaggeratedly at Ellie before grabbing a handful of crackers. “I’ll leave the two of you to talk,” and you wished so badly you could flip her off without it being obvious.
“Hey,” Ellie said quietly, and her voice was almost timid--a laughable comparison to barely five minutes ago when she had the entire audience wrapped around her finger.
“Ellie,” you breathed, shifting your weight from one foot to another. “Your song choice was…inspired,” you said, wrapping an arm across your body. She looked down at her feet, and you wondered if her cheeks would be rosy when she looked back up.
“Oh, yeah,” she looked up at you now, and you were right. Except, it wasn’t actually that warm in here. “Well, it’s a good song, you know.” Her hand went to the back of her neck, just like it had before, and you wanted to pull it away, to intertwine your fingers and just tell her, just tell her you want to go out, somewhere where she doesn’t have to teach you to play guitar and you can just talk, and mentally map the freckles that littered her face and learn about how she got that scar in her eyebrow and find out if she’d rather go to a tea house or a coffee shop and fuck, you had to ask her, now, before you lost the courage and your mouth was moving before your brain could catch up,
“Ellie, I was wondering if--”
“There you are, superstar!” A voice suddenly came from behind her, and you recognized it immediately. The host--or I guess, Ellie’s roommate--oops, wrong again, Ellie’s best friend, was appearing behind her, grabbing onto her shoulder and looking at her with admiration. Ellie seemed surprised to see her, somehow, as she turned to face her, plastering on a smile that looked…forced.
“Oh, hey,” she replied, before the raven-haired girl was pulling her into a hug. You stood awkwardly as they embraced, looking down at the ground in an attempt to seem casual. Oh god, you couldn’t believe you were actually about to ask Ellie out on a date.
“I’m sorry, I don’t think we’ve met,” the girl said abruptly, pulling back as if she’d just noticed your presence. She left an arm around Ellie’s waist, and you noticed the way Ellie suddenly appeared tense. Like, in a bad way.
You offered the girl a small smile and stuck your hand out politely, giving her your name. She took it and shook firmly, her small hand deceivingly strong. Her eyes were painted with thick, black eyeliner, and they raked up and down your body. You felt like shrinking away under her intimidating stare, averting your eyes after a moment.
“Uh, this is Cat, my roommate,” Ellie said after an awkward pause, giving you a sheepish look.
“And best friend,” she chimed, pulling her hand away. She leaned into Ellie’s side, resting her head on Ellie’s shoulder and using her free hand to pat her chest.
“Ellie and I go way back.”

JQ girly here and maybe I’m one of the few but no I am absolutely not mad about the auction, as soon as I saw them announce Joe as one of the bids I knew I stood no chance lol and listen I know this is for a good cause and I already said it, they played it smart by including Joe because they knew fans would pay a stupid amount of money for him so I’m actually really happy for the whole situation, I just hope whoever wins remains respectful and doesn’t make him uncomfortable because we all know some of the girlies in the JQ fandom can be absolutely unhinged but anyways, what bothered me specifically was that one comment calling out those of us that have been to cons and what money we’ve spent for that and comparing that to the auction , like ok yes point taken I get it but girl we plan cons months in advance and they barely announced this auction like a week ago, I don’t have $3k or $4k just laying around to spend from one week to the next like cmon 😭 but I’m also not gonna throw a fit about it I just saw the tweet and kept scrolling
I think the important thing to remember is that auctions are not made for regular people. auctions are for the Uber rich. that’s why in movies and TV and when you hear about live auctions, it’s always at a charity gala. I know some incredibly wealthy people who attend auctions on a regular basis and it’s always at a black event. And they always show up with a checkbook and will buy stuff that they do not need just to flaunt their money. That’s how it’s always been and that’s how it’s always going to be. I think most people knew the second that they announced that there was not a chance in hell anybody that’s on fandom Twitter was going to be able to afford it without having a rich family. You have to be able to spend thousands of dollars at the drop of a hat. The second that auction closes you’re writing a check for several thousand dollars and not blinking an eye.
This Auction is for a good cause, but there was no way anybody from fandom was going to be able to afford that. And honestly, that’s probably why he did it. I agree with you that spending money at a con that you know about in advance and is probably only around $1000 in total, and you can after pay some of them, is way different than dropping $5000 next week after you are the highest bidder.
For example, the mask that gator wore in Fargo was auctioned off, I don’t think anybody even tried to get that one. There was no way from the jump that any of us were gonna be able to afford it. It’s not designed for regular people. It’s not for people in fandom. Whoever won that mask was likely a memorabilia collector and whoever wins with zoom tea is likely some rich kid.
Somebody once asked me what my “ think twice about spending money” limit is. They said that your “think twice limit” is the money that you are willing to spend without thinking twice and then the limit you hit where you think “do I really need to spend this.” And it changes as your jobs change and you get older and things in your life happen. For me that’s about $40. Anything under $40 I don’t think twice about, anything over that I definitely think twice about. For some of the rich people I know, their “think twice” limit is over $700. Whoever wins this has a really high “think twice limit”

Fuck It Friday
Tagged by the always wonderful @tizniz
So, how we all doing guys? It's been 24 hours since the most wonderful thing has happened. I've watched the episode twice and those last five minutes NUMEROUS times. It's so beautiful!
Anyway this is actually the first 9-1-1 story I ever decided to work on. I shelved it after a bit because I needed to rework some stuff but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm not giving up on it cuz this stupid little idea has spawned into a series of ideas/stories I want to try and pull off at some point. So enjoy the nonsense of my multiverse crossover idea! Snippet and more behind the cut.
“You have got to be kidding me! This is… this unreal!” Eddie gazed in amazement and he and Buck slowly made their way down the short ramp into the bridge. “I’m seeing it…but I’m still not believing it.” Buck stopped and slowly spun around, taking in the sight before them. “Ya know,” Buck began, taking a moment to let his brain try and process what he was seeing, “when I woke up this morning, I was NOT expecting to end up on the Millenium Falcon!” “How typical. You save a man’s life and he repays you in insults by comparing you to the most boring ship ever.” Buck slightly cowered as the unknown voice surrounded him while Eddie just froze wide eyed in his tracks. “Uh.. Okay maybe the Enterprise then.” Buck threw his hands up defensively, not even sure who he was arguing with. “Hmph. That would be an improvement over the last example.” “Wait, wait, wait.” Eddie looked around, even more confused. “Who is even saying that? We heard that voice earlier when we were in the medical area.” “Oh that’s just Gideon.” Drew said with a smile as he and Riley walked to the hexagonal console in the center of the room. “And Gideon would be who, exactly?” Buck asked as if the name would mean something. Buck barely had a chance to finish his question before a holographic blue head appeared above the console, starring directly at him and Eddie. “Hello, gentlemen. And you as well Mr. Diaz.” “Buck..” Eddie stared at Gideon’s holographic image as she spoke to them both, using the back of his hand to lightly tap his best friend’s arm to get his attention. “it knows our names.” “Uh Gideon is a she. Not an ‘it’.” Drew corrected sternly. “And I’d be a bit nicer if I were you. Wassup yall!
Luckily i remembered about the existence of this app. lol. Another life update entry i guess? Here we go ->
Life hasn't been that great. I mean yeah aside form studying, I've been having fun! Socialising, playing football, a bit of rugby. To be honest, this entry won't be a fun life update. Basically I'm here to rant. Can't do it on twitter cause all my friends are there. No one wants to hear my problem. You can say this place is a safe space for me (even if you read this you might be a stranger to me lol but feel free to read !).
Academic wise, I think i'm fumbling my degree. Yeah! I've started my degree last march. I'm in my first year first semester. At first I was excited ! Learning new things, coding, doing homeworks. No for real i did all the homeworks they gave me, for the first 3 weeks. But then it all sort of fell off like domino pieces because of Raya celebration. Don't get me wrong I love Raya, it's just that the holidays distrupted the college timetable A LOT. I mean replacement classess were all during the night or the weekends. Quizzes were held every week, assignments, crappy lecturers.
Tonight I just had my mid term test 2 for this one subject. It was at 8pm. While i was on my bed that evening(i slept after studying) my lecturer of said subject just released the score for quiz 4 of the subject. I actually tried my best for that quiz. I studied, rewatch the lecture recording, made notes. I had high hopes that i wouldn't get a score below 5(full marks was 10). You know what i did get? 1. 1 out of 10. After seeing the result, I honestly didn't know what to do. "Should i go and take the test that night? It's pretty much worthless if you think aboht it". I could say the feeling was worst than a heartbreak( i wouldn't know i've never experience it before). And then i started to think about this other subject at which my carry mark was also pretty low. Not only this subject has assignments to submit, it also has a final exam. So that's twice the headache i need to face for 1 subject.
I'm 24 this year and since this is my first year degree, I should be graduating when I turned 26. A lot of my friends has started working this year and here I am just starting my degree. Talk about being late. Now i have a mid-20ish-lif crisis(?). I'm starting to think I'm not smart. I mean all my life I thought I was average. Like yeah straight after highschool i played alot. But I've always thought if i really did focus on my studies, I'd be average. Now I'm not so sure. I think I'm 90% conviced that I'm below average. You know how theres smart students who scored straight A's, then there's above average students who scores 3.5 and above, and then the average students who scores 3.2 and above. I used to think I was average. Right now i think i'm just stupid. I studied, however i still didn't score. Like what does that tell you? You're not smart enough for this course.
So let's talk about my backup plan. As of right now, plan A is to finish this degree and get a job in the it industry. Plan B is work part time whilst studying this degree( to avoid me doing nothing at all). Plan C is to enroll in those google coirse where they give you a certificate upon completion(data analyst, web developer etc).
Plan C looks to me the more realistic approach given the situation I'm in. The only downside is I won't have a degree to my name. And that's bad for my future. It means it will be hard for me to climb the corporate ladder. I may be stuck in the same job position until i retire.
But let's be honest here, the only logical thing to do here is to finish the degree. Everyone else agree with this. Even you! Stranger who i don't know, reading my post somehow. I should just push through this upcoming 3 maybe 4 years of university life. It'll be over before i know it. I know i can do it. I just have to believe in myself again. Find that spark.
It all comes down to the basics of life you know? How my relationship with Allah is, with my family, friends. I need to do a lot of self reflect to become a better version me. Maybe not the best version, but just better than yesterday at least.
Wow! That's a lot of rant. Hahahaha. Yeah i just need to vent out you know. Maybe the next time I do my life udpate I'll be writing some good news! Maybe.... we'll see.
See ya!

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
A small sigh, a wistful little thing, escaped your lips as you studied the gently lapping water of the lake. It was calm here, a peaceful, tranquil place that served as a welcome refuge after all that you'd been through in the last few years. Sometimes it seemed almost too good to be true. The distant sounds of laughter met your ears as children ran around and played, carefree as could be. Sometimes you wished you were that young again; innocent to life’s darker sides. Unfortunately that wasn’t a possibility, but for now you’d take the peace and stillness you could get.
Pulling off your boots and socks, you quickly tossed them to the side. The water was warm as you relaxed and leaned back, closing your eyes and soaking up the warmth of the summer sun. It wasn’t until you heard the familiar voice that your eyes slowly snapped back opened. Your heart constricted slightly as you spotted Din nearby speaking to Omera. He seemed so happy, in a much better mood than you’d seen in a long time. It was all her, and you remained invisible. Which, when it came to most things wasn’t too bad, but sometimes you wished he would see you.
“Is somebody jealous?” you hadn’t even heard the bounty hunter walk over; you supposed that’s one of the many reasons he was the best in the galaxy. Boba offered a small grimace before sitting down next to you. You shrugged him off staring back into the water. You were not about to get into anything with Boba; that man was insufferable and usually right.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” you brushed him off, trying desperately not to look back at Din. Instead, you focused on the water and watched the tiny fish whiz through the water; a few of them brushed by your feet, sending a ticklish shiver up your spine, “I’m just...enjoying the calm afternoon sun and soaking up as much peace before we inevitably leave again.”
“That’s how this all works,” Boba sighed as you nodded in agreement, “you knew that from the day you became my apprentice.”
“I know,” you whispered, “but I hoped at one point I could...walk away and have a normal life. Like this.”
“Normal is all relative,” he had a point as you huffed lightly and stood up, brushing off your pants and reaching for your boots, “but if this is what you want, what you truly want, you know you’re welcome to leave whenever. I would not hold you back from the life you wanted.”
“I know, Boba,” you put your hand on his shoulder and gave it a light squeeze, “the problem is that I don’t really know what I want...I think I know but...it’s more than that.”
“Of course,” he agreed, casting a quick glance at the object of your affections before turning back to you, “I’m sure you’ll figure it out.”
“Either way, it will work out, just as it always does,” you swallowed the lump that had welled up in your throat, “Boba, why are you doing this?”
“I just want to make sure you’re happy - that you know that you have choices in what you’re doing,” he said like it was no big deal, but to you it meant so much. This hardened, sometimes gruff man really did have a heart of gold underneath it all, “should you want to part ways, I would understand. Should you want to stay, I’d be more than happy to have you with me. I don’t know what the future holds for myself, Fennec, or Djarin, but you know it will not always be easy. But sometimes you have to decide what’s most important.”
“Yes,” you answered softly, “thank you, Boba.”
He remained silent as you laced up your boots before padding away, back towards the village. You knew you had a lot to think about and if you wanted things to change at all, you’d have to figure out something. You cast a glance over your shoulder and you were almost positive that you’d spotted Din looking in your direction. But it was all a trick of the mind; it had to be. Why would he spare you more than a passing thought anyways?
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
It was late by the time he found you; much later than any reasonable person should have been outside, but you couldn’t sleep. There was too much on your mind to silence, and if you managed to, it was short-lived and another thought came to replace the previous one. Eventually you’d given up and wandered out of the small hut home that had been acting as your own home for the last couple of months. You knew the area was safe and wanted to enjoy the temperate night air before it turned to a crisp fall breeze, or worse - you’d be gone.
Small bugs chirped happily along with the soft songs of nightbirds as you walked around the sleeping village; you weren’t scared here, you felt safe and at home. But as you rounded a corner, a gloved hand reached out and grabbed your wrist. A small yelp of surprise left your lips as you pulled into a wall of cool metal - beskar.
“Shhh,” Din placed a finger to his lips as you relaxed when you realized it was him, “you’ll wake everyone up. It’s just me.”
“Dank Farrik!” you hissed at him, “how was I supposed to know that? You could have been a murderer!”
“Well….you should be in bed sleeping.”
“So should you!” your arms crossed over your chest as you stared him down, and eventually he huffed in defeat, realizing you were right. He couldn’t sleep either, plagued by the choices he knew that he had to make sooner rather than later. He hadn’t expected you to be out as well, “what are you doing anyway?”
“Couldn’t sleep,” he admitted, scratching the back of his neck nervously, a flash of...something in his dark eyes, “I thought that some fresh air would clear my head.”
“Same here,” you admitted reluctantly, leaving the two of you in an awkward silence. You wished you had enough bravery (or perhaps even stupidity) in your body to just say something to him then and there. At least it would be out of the way; but you weren’t feeling anything but nervous butterflies fluttering in your tummy, “I...umm...I guess I’ll get back. Try and sleep.”
“Hey-” he reached for your arm gently before you could get too far away. You turned around and raised an eyebrow as he opened and closed his mouth a few times, “d-did I do something wrong?”
“What? What are you talking about?” the question caught you off guard, but judging by the look on his face, you could sense that this was something he had been thinking for some time.
“You’ve been different lately...it almost feels like you’re avoiding me.”
“Oh DIn, you’re being ridiculous,” and yet the accusation was very true.
“You’re fine around Boba, Fennec...everyone else. But every time I’m around it feels like you can’t wait to get away,” you should have known that he would have noticed sooner or later. The man was more observant than you’d cared to admit, “if I did something, please tell me.”
“You can’t be serious, Djarin. There’s nothing wrong…”
“Then why have you been avoiding me?”
“I haven’t been doing anything. You’ve got too much free time and your mind is running wild.”
“Tell me it’s not true then.”
“Din-”
“Tell me.”
“The problem is that you’re in love with someone else,” the words were out of your mouth before you even contemplated them. You were mortified and in some ways you were relieved. At least it was all out in the open now and you were able to let the chips land where they may.
“Oh,” was his only response as his head tilted to the side and he looked at you in confusion, “what?”
“I...kriff,” you sighed, “I shouldn’t have said that. Sorry - forget I said anything.”
“Who am I in love with?”
“What do you mean?” tears welled up in your eyes at his response; almost like a cruel joke, “you know, everyone knows! Omera; and why wouldn’t you be? She’s wonderful - kind, smart, beautiful … everything. Part of me wants to dislike her, but I can’t because she’s such a good person but it kills me a little bit to know that you love her and you’ll never even think twice about me. I know that’s super selfish but it’s the way I feel; and judging from how this is going I think I’m making the right decision by leaving. By myself.”
Din said nothing as a few tears rolled down your cheeks. You laughed bitterly at yourself before realizing that this might have been the best decision after all. You couldn’t stay after this.
It wasn’t long before Din came to his senses and ran after you, calling your name and catching up with a few easy strides. You came to a reluctant stop as you sniffled and waited for him to say something, despite the fact that you weren’t sure you wanted to hear whatever he had to say.
“I-I-I’m not in love with Omera,” he insisted as it became your turn to look at him in bewilderment, “I’m in love with you.”
“What?”
“I’ve been talking to her about you,” he confessed, “about how to do...this sort of thing. But then you started avoiding me and I wondered if maybe I’d read the signs wrong and you didn’t like me at all. At least not in that way.”
“I don’t….what?” you heard his words but weren’t able to fully comprehend them. This had to be some sort of weird fever dream. Din sighed - his trademark sigh - before ripping off his gloves and gently putting his hands on the sides of your face. He was hesitant at first, to see if you would stop him. But you didn’t...instead you relished in his touch, the feel of his bare skin on yours sending electric shivers throughout your whole body.
After a few moments of quietly studying your features, he leaned in and slowly pressed his lips against yours. It wasn’t a proper kiss by any means, hardly more than a ghost of one, but it felt...strangely wonderful. You looked at him in disbelief as he pulled back; was this really the same man that you’d met all that time ago that wouldn’t even tell anyone his name or let them see his face?
“Oh.”
“Can we go inside?” he whispered softly, “can we talk?”
“Yeah,” you agreed gently. He reached for your hand but before he could take it in his, you stopped him and pressed another sweet, barely there kiss to his lips. A tinge of pink colored his cheeks as you beamed at him, “now we can go.”

I'm thinking about maybe trying to write a Jdox fic but it's not my main fandom so I haven't read too much fanfiction about them. Do you have any tips on how to write them you'd be willing to share? I love writing and I love their characters I just want to make sure I'm writing them well.
1) DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT
I will say reading literally anything from RumCove, kipli, and RandomSlasher and Thuri on AO3 is like, chef's kiss both in terms of characterization and just overall amazing writing and storytelling. I am well aware that my Perry and JD can be a bit OOC when you simply just watch the show, but I've been neck-deep in JDox hell since 2015 and have had a lot of time to develop my own HCs and think about how they act and react to each other.
All that being said, here are some of my own personal opinions and what I would consider to be main character traits
Perry can be, and often is harsh, and can cross the line into cruel. Johnny C has said it in a lot of interviews, but where Kelso is seemingly all bad in the earlier seasons, it was important to differentiate Perry from him. So if Perry's a cup of dirt, there's still always going to be that scoop of sugar mixed in there. He cares deeply about his patients and his job and the people he loves, he's just not the greatest at expressing that and covers it up with sarcasm and jokes.
JD is not stupid or helpless. He may be naive and immature at times, but I've seen some fics treat him as though he's completely useless on his own. He becomes a fantastic doctor over the course of the show and never lacks compassion. Can that be his downfall occasionally? Absolutely, he may even care too much sometimes. But he's extremely smart, and while he is usually better as part of a group or team (I can't do this all on my own, no I know, I'm no Superman), that doesn't take away from what he brings to the table.
Obviously, it depends on what kind of fic you want to write, but especially with established JDox, JD isn't going to cry over every little jab Perry gets in. No, he's probably going to either roll his eyes and ignore Perry, or he's going to snark back. He can give as good as he gets and that definitely earns him brownie points with Perry.
This fandom is usually about a breath away from being fully dead at any given point, so when I tell you to write it, write it. Has the amnesia trope been done before? Hell yeah. Write it anyway. JD gets hurt and it makes Perry realize his feelings? Write it. They bicker and start hatefucking and it gradually turns into feelings? Write it. As long as you're not blatantly ripping off another fic, I don't care if the trope has been written a hundred times. Write the fic because no two writers are going to do it the same way. For instance, off the top of my head, the amnesia trope has been done at least 4 times on AO3: Amnesia by randomslasher and thuriweaver; My Coma by sweetrevelation; Teardrops and Rain by yours truly; and most recently, My New Perspective by RumCove. And each of those fics uses the trope differently (and if I had to guess, there's probably more out there somewhere, but I stick to AO3 lol).
As a final point, and potentially the most important, is that they have more in common than you'd originally think. They both are brilliant at what they do and they care so much that it can be their downfall. Look at My Lunch/My Fallen Idol. The loss of those patients hit Perry so hard that it was enough for him to completely fall apart and nearly throw in the towel. But JD was able to help him out of that because he understood all too well what Perry was feeling. Because he'd been there, too. When they love, they love hard. They're both a bit narcissistic. They know a LOT about each other just by virtue of working together for so long, probably more than they realize they do.
And okay, I'll say one more thing. JD tears up once in canon in the season 8 Sesame Street episode. Perry cries at least twice (3x14, 5x20, and maybe 5x21?). Do with that what you will.
Hopefully that's helpful to you in some capacity but also like. Follow your heart, believe in your dreams, etc 😂 Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help!

The Assistant
Tumblr media
Quentin Beck smut
Prompt (requested): Quentin finds out that his cute new assistant (the one who loves to tease and be a little brat to him) is a virgin... and he's got plans for her.
Warnings: lots of teasing and dirty talk, idk if it has more degradation or praising, I like to mix it lol.... mentions of losing your virginity, unprotected sex and a surprisingly soft daddy Quentin
Like 3k words
---
From the minute you stepped into that lab, you had Quentin's attention.
He thought you were the prettiest little thing he had ever seen, but he couldn't allow distractions, so he never really gave you too much attention, just left you there doing your job.
The thing is that you were brilliant at it. There was no way he could ignore your presence.
As time passed, you kept impressing him… And he became kinda obsessed with you.
He thought about you more than he should.
He got jealous whenever he saw another employee talking to you (maybe they mysteriously got fired after).
So he asked one of your coworkers to get really close to you., and find out as many information as possible from you. Like what you liked to do on your free time, what were your ambitions… or if you were single. If he found out you weren't, there's nothing he wouldn't do for you to be.
But he didn't have to waste any time on planning something against your partner's life cause you didn't have one, and he was relieved to hear that.
But those aren't even the best news he got that day
He also heard from your coworker after a small party you attended to that weekend (with a little drinking and a few games) that you were still a virgin. He lost his mind at the thought of you being his and ONLY his. No other man had ever had the privilege to touch you.
Now he had to make you his.
So you were promoted to his personal assistant.
You were thrilled. Not only because you got a better job, but you had this HUGE admiration for Quentin, and being able to get closer to him was amazing.
On the first days, he just showered you in questions. And the better he knew you, the more fascinated he grew.
But you were a little confused. Didn't seem right for your boss to be asking so many personal questions. Sometimes, his questions seemed to have a double meaning. And you knew Quentin was way too smart to not notice that. So the only way you had to find out what he really wanted was playing his game.
One day, you were at his office, and both of you were minding your own business, but you decided that the teasing would start that day.
So your eyes focused on him until he noticed it, and when he looked back at you, they would quickly go back to your computer.
One time was enough to make him suspicious, but after the third one, he couldn't stand it anymore.
"Do you need anything?" He asked, making your heart race.
Pissing him off was exciting, but you knew it was also very dangerous.
"No, sir, I'm sorry." You lied, without taking your eyes off your computer screen.
You started slowly. That was only the first day. On the next ones, you started going a little further. Like smiling at him when he caught you staring. Or asking your own suggestive questions.
Like this one time, when you walked into his office and walked towards his desk, standing beside it until he finally acknowledged your presence.
"Can I help you?" He sighed, looking at you. He was getting tired of your games. He was so confused. You looked pretty innocent by the way you answered to his questions, but there was something in your eyes that made him doubt that.
"Yes, Mr. Beck." You bit your lip, trying to control your smirk as you carefully planned your next words. "I was wondering if I look okay to you."
He raised his eyebrows and waited for you to explain yourself, so you continued:
"I mean… now that I'm your assistant, people will see me next to you all the time. I know you never mentioned anything, sir, but do you think the way I dress is okay?"
That was the first time in a while someone left him speechless like that.
"I appreciate how much you care about your job, Y/N." He finally replied. "If you're worried about that, I could get you some money to buy new clothes."
You didn't expect that at all, you were just teasing him.
"Thank you, sir… but does that mean you don't think I'm pretty now?" You used a sweet, sad tone.
"No, I think you're so fucking pretty." He looked at your body in a way that made you a little shy. "And I don't really care what you're wearing. If you want my sincere opinion, honey, you should wear a lot less than that."
You pressed your thighs together at those words. This was all about driving HIM crazy, but he always found a way to be on control. And he noticed how he made you feel, of course he did.
"You look so eager to be a great assistant." He chuckled darkly. "You would do anything I asked you to, wouldn't you?"
You nodded with no hesitation.
"Good girl." He smiled and caressed you cheek with his finger. "Go back to work, then."
You were in shock. You were frozen beside him trying to process everything. You wanted him so bad, you wouldn't be able to focus on work now. But you walked back to your desk, cause what other choice did you have?
Well, you weren't giving up now.
On the very next day, every single pair of eyes landed on you when you walked into that building.
You were wearing the shortest skirt you could find. And one of those shirts that were a little transparent, with a cute little lace bra under it. Red lipstick. It was impossible not to look.
Quentin was furious. He was possessive, and now everyone was talking about "his girl".
5 minutes after you arrived you were already yelled at. He wanted you in his office. Immediately.
When you walked in, you shivered at his state. He was so angry, and he always looked so hot like that. Sitting on his chair, a hand closed on a fist on his table, his eyes looking at a distant spot… you could almost see that inside his head there was nothing but madness.
"What do you think you're doing?" He sighed, trying to control his anger. "Why are you dressed like that?"
"Well, sir… yesterday you said that you wanted me to wear less clothes. I just wanted to please you."
"Please me?" He thought for a second. "Come closer."
Seemed like a pretty dangerous thing to do, but there was no turning back now.
When you got close enough, he pulled you by the arm, forcing you to sit on his lap, which made you gasp.
"I know you're not stupid, Y/N. I wouldn't be interested in you if you were." He said, running his hand through your thigh. "So why are you doing this? Do you want attention?"
"Yes, sir." You bit your lip as his hand travelled now between your thighs.
"You wanted my attention?" He chuckled. "Well, but I don't want other people looking at my things. Wanting my things…"
He was treating you like just another prize he won and you couldn't understand why you were okay with that. Or why you would be anything he wanted you to be.
"Maybe I should fire you." He said, placing a kiss on the back of your neck.
"No, sir, please… I can be useful to you." You begged.
"I know you can. And you will." He said as his hand got closer and closer to where you needed it, but never actually there.
You were on fire, you just wanted to rub yourself on his thigh, but you were afraid to move unless he asked you to.
"Now come on." He said, forcing you to stand up. "Let's go to your place. We'll get you changed."
"I don't want to go." You muttered.
"Excuse me?" He raised his eyebrows.
"We have work to do." You explained. "And there is nothing wrong with the way I am dressed."
He immediately grabbed you by the neck and said: "We are going to your place right now."
---
You were thrilled. One more time. Life beside Quentin was never boring.
The drive back to your place was silent. Your eyes were glued to the way he was holding the wheel a lot tighter than he had to. His forearms were so tense. Absolutely beautiful.
The moment you walked into your place, you went directly to your bedroom and he followed you.
"Do I have to change in front of you?" You asked sarcastically. "To make sure you'll approve it?"
"Enough." He sighed. "Why are you acting like a fucking brat? You used to be such a good girl for me…"
You didn't have an answer to give him. Cause you wanted attention? Not really, you had that already. You were doing that simply because it was fun.
"You know what? You don't have to go back with me. You're fired."
"No, sir, don't do that, please!" Your eyes widened. "I'm so sorry, just give me a chance, I will be good again, I promise…"
"I don't usually give people a second chance, you know that." He shrugged. "But it would be a shame to lose you, I have to admit that."
His eyes traveled your body as he walked in circles, trying to make up his mind. You were paralyzed. Not that you were obsessed with your job, but you kinda were with your boss. You knew he wouldn't want to see you ever again.
"I will give you one last chance…" He decided. "If you prove that you're loyal to me. Not to the company, to me. You know you're over qualified to be only an assistant… and I have bigger plans for you."
"I would do anything for you, sir." You nodded eagerly.
"Now that's my good girl." He chuckled and stood in front of you. He leaned closer and placed his hand on your cheek, gently stroking it with his thumb. "My pretty girl."
That man had some kind of power over you that didn't allow you to think straight. Even when you thought you could play him, he found a way to be on control. All you knew was that you wanted him as bad as he wanted you. And before you could think twice, you enjoyed the proximity to kiss him.
You thought he would push you away and leave you there alone and needy, but the fact was that he was holding himself back since the minute you walked into his office that day. So he kissed you back. It was a hungry, messy kiss. His hands quickly went to your waist and pulled you against his body.
He guided you towards your bed without breaking the kiss.
"Not exactly what I had in mind." He chuckled. "But you never fooled me. I always knew you weren't innocent."
You lay on your bed and he climbed on top of you.
"Mr. Beck…" You got a little nervous when you realized how far things had gone. "I have never done this before."
"I know, baby." He said on his sweetest tone. "But I'm gonna take care of you, okay? I'll be good for you. There's no need to be scared. Also, there's no need to call me Mr. Beck here. Call me whatever you want, okay?"
You hesitated for a second, then you whispered the most innocent "daddy" he had ever heard in his entire life.
"Fuck, what did you just say?" He grabbed your chin and forced you to repeat it right to his face, to make sure it was real.
"Can I call you daddy?" You asked nervously.
"God fucking damnit, Y/N." He visibly lost his mind. "Now you can't call me anything else ever again."
"Daddy." You smiled at the effect that little word had on him.
"Yes, babygirl." He slid his hand under your skirt, but this time he didn't tease as much as before, stroking you over your underwear. "Now daddy's gonna make you feel so good."
You bit your lip and nodded. That could be considered a permission for him to do whatever he wanted to you.
So he helped you remove all of your clothes. He removed his shirt too, but he had to stop and take a moment to admire you. No man in the world had ever looked at you like that. With that much lust. That look on his eyes alone would be enough to make you want him, but the sigh of his shirtless chest was something else too.
His hands travelled your body and ended up on your chest, and he decided to dedicate a few minutes to your boobs.
You were starting to think that he planned on fucking you back in his office, but he changed his mind cause he wanted to take his time with you. So ending up in your bedroom had absolutely nothing to do with the clothes you were wearing. Actually, Quentin would love to show you off. He was only mad cause you turned him on that much at the wrong place and time.
But part of you wished he would have finished this at his office, because you couldn't stand this anymore. He played with your nipples until you were desperate for him to fuck you.
"Daddy, please." You begged, pressing your thighs together.
"Please, what?" He smirked at your state.
"Need you inside me so bad." You admitted.
"Do you, honey?" His hands left your boobs and went to your thighs, forcing them open. His fingers started to stroke your folds and you gasped. "Fuck, babygirl. You really do. Look at how fucking wet you are. All for me."
He shoved two fingers inside you at once, making you moan loudly.
"So thigh, princess. Can't wait to stretch you open with my cock. Is that what you want?" He asked, and you nodded eagerly. "Beg for it just a little more. You wouldn't have to if you weren't such a little brat earlier... now you have to earn it."
"I'm sorry, daddy." Your hips bucked as he rubbed your clit so hard. "I won't be a brat anymore, I will be good now."
"Hm." He muttered uninterested and kept rubbing you.
"Daddy… I'm gonna-" You started to feel your orgasm building in your belly because of how good he was touching you and the things he was saying.
"No, you're not." He stopped everything. The look of betrayal on your face was hilarious to him. "Not until you beg."
"Please, daddy, please." You obeyed. "I need your cock, I promise I'll be loyal to you forever, but please…"
He didn't want to give up so soon. Maybe it was because of the tears in your eyes, or that fact that he was painfully hard that made him break.
But you were relieved when you saw him taking off the rest of his clothes. And you couldn't even describe how you felt when you saw his cock.
He placed it on your entrance and started to kiss you again, before he finally entered you. You cried out from pain and pleasure. He started to move slowly.
"Daddy is always gonna give you what you need, as long as you deserve it, honey." He told you as he kissed your neck. "Tell me how you're feeling."
"So big, daddy, so good." You smiled at him. "So good."
"You sound so dumb right now, you little slut." He chuckled.
That was definitely the last thing you expected sex with Quentin to be like. So smiley. Sweet on it's own way. Maybe because it was your first time. Maybe he had a heart after all.
After he was sure you were ready, he started going faster and harder. It was heaven. Didn't take too long for your to feel your orgasm building from where it was brutally interrupted before.
"Daddy, please… can I cum now?" You begged, which pleased him very much. He didn't even have to ask this time.
"Yes, babygirl, cum on daddy's cock before I fill you up, come on." He told you.
The thought of him coming inside you was enough to bring you to the edge. You came so hard, because you needed that for so long. Quentin couldn't decide what was hotter: your face, your moans or the way you held him tightly while your walls clenched around him.
And he kept his promise, spilling himself inside of you a few seconds later.
He kept his cock inside you and brought his hand to your face, caressing it slowly.
"I'm your first and the only man you'll ever have." He whispered. "You're mine now. You were mine since the day you walked into that office for the first time."
"I'm yours." You agreed. "And you're my daddy."
"Right, I'm your daddy." He chuckled. "I have huge plans for you, babygirl…"

BnHA 6th Popularity Poll Reaction Post - Risky Spoiler-Dodging Edition
hey guys, so seeing as the results from the 6th popularity poll were leaked today, I figured I would do a separate reaction + analysis post this year, rather than piling it in as an extra on top of the chapter reaction post tomorrow. I figure this makes more sense anyway, since they’re really two completely different things. also this way I can write as much as I want lol.
also, just fyi, I am still completely unspoiled for chapter 293. and probably the smart thing to do to keep it that way would be to log off tumblr and hold off posting this until tomorrow, but I apparently have no impulse control today so oh well. anyway, so I’m hoping you guys will keep this spoiler-free if you don’t mind! as always, I would prefer to just jump right in completely unaware tomorrow like Troy returning to the study room with the pizza boxes lol.
okay so this first part is just going to be my predictions. fyi I am writing this part on Wednesday night, and then I’ll add on the results part on Thursday or Friday (ETA: Thursday, apparently, since I am impatient.)
okay so first of all, just as a refresher, this poll was open to Japanese voters from Aug 3 to Sep 30. meaning chapters 279 through 285. meanwhile last year’s poll took place around the tail end of the MVA arc. so between then and now we had Heroes Rising, the Endeavor Agency arc, and the War arc up to the part where the 1-A kids took on Gigantomachia in Gunga, and started battling Tomura in Jakku. so technically only a couple of arcs, but a LOT of stuff going down in them. oh and season 4 of the anime as well
so! firstly, I predict that my truculent africanized honeybee son will hold on to his crown at #1, coming off a year in which he did some internship-boosted soul searching, borrowed OFA in movie canon, and finished out the voting period as the my-body-moved-on-its-own character development MVP. like CALL ME CRAZY lol, but I’m pretty sure his title is safe. and then after him will be Deku and Shouto as usual
Aizawa should hopefully also have a strong showing because the dude had a banner fucking year. reunited with his old dead friend, took on Tomura with his hopelessly inept hero pals, and then chopped his fucking leg off. he had better be in the top 10. his fucking leg died for this, idk what else he has to do
Endeavor also stands a decent chance of doing well given the internship arc and the final episode of season 4. which I’m sure will go down just swimmingly if that does happen lmao. especially if he somehow manages to rank higher than...
Dabi, which I don’t think he will btw, but you never know. anyways though, but I’m thinking Dabi’s going to have a stronger showing than in past years (in the last poll he only got 367 votes and was ranked 19th). mostly because of his fight in the Gunga mansion, and his cheekily censored name reveal to...
Hawks, who is also going to rank pretty high here, I think. might be he loses some points for killing off Twice, but his back was basically to the wall there. and he has always been very popular, and I think season 4 will also give him a boost, along with his heavy involvement in the first half of the War arc
Tomura was already in 6th place last year and I think he cracks the top 5 this year. he’s gotten exponentially more popular since the MVA arc, and got a boost in the last poll even though his flashback had only just barely happened, and he hadn’t finished Awakening yet and all that stuff. anyway, so he’s only gotten cooler and more tragic since then so I think he makes a big play here
Kirishima, Momo, Tokoyami, and Mina should also hopefully do well, since the poll opened right in the middle of all that Gigantomachia action, and Toko had just got done being an absolute badass and protecting his birb dad. I don’t think he’ll quite make it to the top ten, but he should
and last but not least, I’m hoping that Mirko will come out and take the polls by storm, although I have no clue how popular she is in Japan lol. she’s clearly Horikoshi’s favorite though. she SHOULD be everyone’s favorite, but I mean, we’ll see how it goes
anyway that’s it as far as predictions! and so now, through the magic of writing stuff at different times, we will fast-forward to the part where we actually find out the results!
Tumblr media
OH MY GOD YES, STEAMPUNK KHLKSLLKL. HERE FOR IT. JOLLY GOOD SHOW. 5 STARS
Kacchan looks SO COCKY and SO HAPPY and SO ADORABLE, YES I SAID IT. he is adorable as FUCK. I don’t quite know what it is about this particular Kacchan that just screams “LOOK HOW FUCKING CUTE MY STUPID, LOUD SON IS WITH HIS BIZARRE WINDOWPANE-LOOKING CONVERTIBLE SUNGLASS GOGGLES and his POORLY TIED CRAVAT”, but I think it’s because he looks like if a Digimon character and a FMA character had a baby
anyway, so it looks like most of the people present here are more or less who we expected to see. except that I can’t tell for sure if that’s Dabi or Shindou, and if it’s Shindou I’m going to punch somebody in the face so you will have to excuse me
Iida wearing a TRENCHCOAT and a TOP HAT with ENGINE EXHAUST GOGGLE ACCENTS is my new favorite Iida of all time. take note how there is no possible way he can wear those goggles with them sitting on top of his hat like that. plus he’s already got glasses on. these are just purely for aesthetic and IF THAT AIN’T JUST THE STEAMPUNK WAY
Deku out here speaking softly and carrying a lead pipe. Kacchan you best look out. seems like he’s done watching you take first place year after year while he languishes in the number two spot. your only hope is that he trips while attacking you because his boots are unbuckled
Shouto’s standing over there with the rest of the non-first-and-second-place characters, but what are the odds his results are actually within spitting distance of Deku’s same as always. anyway he doesn’t mind, though. also his outfit is by far the most sensible one here, but if you look closely he’s got some sort of fire extinguisher/jet pack thing strapped to his back that’s got a control switch on his belt. Shouto are you jetpacking or putting out fires
Kirishima out here all “I’m not sure what steampunk is so I’m just going to take off my shirt and pose”
AIZAWA WITH THE EYEPATCH SKLKSDLKFJLSKJLDFKJSLDFFJLDKSJFL:KS. SIR. SIR. also, lowkey furious that Horikoshi refuses to show us the automail leg that he is clearly sporting here but which we just can’t see, SHOUTO MOVE GODDAMMIT
Endeavor has TWO fire extinguisher-slash-jetpacks. THE BETTER TO... WHATEVER. look at you here in the top ten again. you really live for that controversy
HAWKS OUT HERE WITH HIS STEAMPUNK BEATS BY DRE AND HIS WEARING A RING ON EVERY FINGER. nice to see you’ve still got your wings there, kiddo. then again Deku still has both of his arms too so who even knows what is going on
BUT SERIOUSLY THOUGH, IS THIS DABI OR SHINDOU. as if I don’t know the truth deep down in my heart. y’all I am gonna flip lmao. it’s not that I dislike Shindou, strictly speaking. but just... I can’t explain what it is, but if you put him and AFO next to each other and told me “you can only punch one”, I would be having a serious crisis. just, THIS FUCKING GUY, idek. STOP SMILING
Tomura looks like he just wandered onto the set here by mistake and has no idea where he is or what is going on. it’s because you’re wearing a bigass severed hand that’s blocking your entire view, Tomura. just take the hand off your face my sweet murder dumpling
anyway! so I managed to also find a link to the full poll results while somehow managing to avoid spoilers, and then I wanted to compare the results to last year’s poll, and so I made... this
Tumblr media
hopefully you can all see this. if you’re on desktop you might be screwed, but on mobile you should be able to click and enlarge it. I mean, assuming you actually give a fuck about boring poll analysis spreadsheets lmao
anyway, so there were actually 13k fewer votes cast this year which is a bit of a surprise. is the series not still growing in popularity? do people apparently have better things to do during their quarantine lol
anyways but despite this, and despite getting 8k fewer votes overall, Kacchan still managed almost twice as many as his closest competitor. well fought, Deku. please put down that pipe
I somehow always underestimate the power of ship popularity to influence these things. but for example, it looks like Present Mic got that Vigilantes Trio bump. ride that wave for all it’s worth my man! hell, you got me on board
Iida fucking Tenya somehow got some sort of POWER BOOST out of NOWHERE which I can’t explain at all lmao, but I’m here for it. NOT BAD FOR AN OLD MAN
Sero managed to get the exact same number of votes in both 2019 and 2020. clearly the most loyal fans in the business
Mirko being all the way down at #20 is, of course, a travesty, and I hereby nominate her to be the one to punch Shindou in the face
ngl though, the lack of a single female character in the top ten hurts just a bit. it’s not overly surprising, but still. the worst part of it is that even if you kicked Shindou to the curb and moved everyone else up one slot, it would still be all dudes since Mic beat out Momo by a margin of a little more than a hundred votes. hard to stay mad at Mic for too long, though. ah well
Tomura actually lost a bunch of votes which is a genuine surprise to me. I know the villain standom isn’t as dominant in Japan as it is in Western fandom, but still. you can go ahead and punch Shindou too I guess
Tokoyami lowkey doubled his vote count over the past year while hiding down there at #18. he is slowly becoming more powerful. biding his time
anyway so I think that’s it! I mean not really, but I’m getting kind of tired lol. so just, you know, insert the usual gripes at Overhaul’s ranking here, although we can be happy about Magne making her way onto the list (r.i.p.), and Mineta and AFO taking a very satisfying slide down (all the way out, in AFO’s case; good riddance you bum). Hadou also got a huge boost which is awesome. Mustard’s persistent ownership of the #36 spot will forever remain a mystery to me, but oh well
anyways, this was fun. and I really do feel like everyone is looking away on purpose so that when Deku brains Kacchan with that pipe in about two seconds from now, there will be no witnesses, oh my fucking god

to love is the greatest gift
3. The Child
Tumblr media
pairing: obi wan kenobi x f!reader (past!din djarin x reader | past!obi wan kenobi x satine kryze) characters: f!reader, din djarin, baby djarin obi wan kenobi, anakin skywalker-amidala others word count: 6k+ warnings: angst, fluff, death, longing, slow burn, guilt summary: au! It has never been the right timing for you and obi wan, but maybe this time will be different. a/n: so, this was planned and partly written before we knew grogu’s name, and there’s actually a reason why baby’s name is baby, but probably won’t come up lol — now we’re just upping the ante and I’m not sorry lol if you have any questions about this story or requests, send them my way and I will try my best to answer ☺️
Tumblr media
Then.
The loud noises of the bar were swallowed alive by the cars that rushed by and the occasional helicopter that flew overhead—faint music thumping from all directions; neon lights so bright like artificial stars, fading headlights moving in all directions.
Pretty. Picturesque, but not what you focused on for too long.
You moved fast, hand pulsing with pricks of pain and refusing to listen to Obi Wan, who followed closely behind, pleading for you to stop and—will you listen to me? Your determination to get away from him, the bar, and find his stupid piece of junk car in the packed parking lot drove you forward. He already dragged you out, might as well leave altogether—if only Anakin and Padmé would hurry!
“What were you thinking?” he asked after you, voice thick with worry and indignation as he kept up with your quick pace.
“He was being an asshole!”
“So you decided to punch him?” He heaved a sigh, grabbing your wrist and keeping you from continuing (or from running away from his impending lecture). “A man twice your size?”
You jerked away from his hold, refusing to meet his gaze and find disappointed blue eyes staring back at you. “You didn’t hear what he was saying—”
“Oh, I heard perfectly, my dear, but I wasn’t about to engage with some drunkard.” He said it so dismissively and judgmentally that you recoiled, the anger you managed to release earlier coming back tenfold, but this time for a different reason.
Why did he always have to be so non confrontational, so unlike Anakin and his hit-first-think-later personality? Why couldn’t he allow himself to get angry even for only a moment? Why did everyone else have to get angry for him? More importantly, why did you have to get angry for him? You don’t understand!
“How are you not mad then?” you outcried, throwing your hands up in the air. “He called you—”
“Why would I be?” He smiled, like he knew something you didn’t, and it only made you more frustrated. “I have you to defend my honor.”
“That's—Obi Wan! Seriously?” Maker, he was too much! “Take this seriously, will you?”
He chuckled and reached for your hand, the same one that had glocked the giant’s jaw. It hurt, a lot, much more than you were willing to admit, but in Obi Wan’s hands, the pain felt nonexistent.
“I didn’t expect you to hit him.” You wished he looked at you, showed you what he was thinking. He squeezed your hand in his, inspecting it gently. “Could’ve gotten hurt.” He sighed again. “I wanted to—needed you safe.”
“I wasn’t going to let him get away with saying those things about you,” you murmured, the cold air harsh in your throat, hard to swallow, but his hand was warm—he was warm.
“I know.” He ran his thumb over the area, careful to not cause you more discomfort—always so careful and sweet with you. But there was something swimming in those eyes of his, a hint of something you couldn’t quite place as they followed the movements of his thumb.
“I’m sorry I ruined your birthday,” you murmured.
“You could never.” He lifted your hand higher and you allowed him to—let his warm breath fan over your stinging skin. “My little warrior.”
Lips connected with your knuckles—soft, plush, delicate, and your breath hitched—he was never this bold with you, always keeping you at a certain distance for as long as you could remember—his darling, but never truly his.
“I am envious of the person you will choose to spend the rest of your life with,” he said, hesitant—barely breaking through the blood rushing in your ear—wanting to say more than what he was allowing himself to; hand dared to push back a stray piece of hair that couldn’t stay in place, choosing to dance with the wind. “Your future family will be lucky to have you.”
Now.
Din’s love can be powerful and kind. But he is also a man with too many layers and shields up to protect himself from the onslaught of cruelty life can gift to one human being.
Someone once told you (joked really) that loving him was like the age old question of how many licks did it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop. It was a stupid analogy then and it’s still a stupid analogy now, but it didn’t make it any less fitting.
Anakin never understood your relationship with Din, seeing only the surface level of the man you were once in love with. Padmé saw beyond the gruff and tough exterior, but she grew worried that you’d expend too much of your love and energy to get to where he could finally return it with equalness.
And she was right.
Sometimes, it was too much, and the selfish part of you wanted to walk away many times; wanted to give up the patience that you had thought you’d nurtured and grown over the years. But you’d fought against that selfish part of you, stood strong and tall as you worked through all of his layers of armor. Loved him and his toddler that you saw as your own (because he was, he was much more yours than the mother that left him on Din’s doorstep a couple of years ago).
It was Din who gave in first, the struggle of having someone wanting to be part of his life, wanting to give their all to him was so foreign to the poor man that sometimes he didn’t know what to do other than fight against it—against your love.
Even if he was the one to end it, there was no denying he had loved you, loved you in ways that were intimate, kind, and sweet. He made you feel things that no one else had, made your mind and body sing in ways that you sometimes search for in other partners.
Although the love you share now is different, like friends that have seen each other grow and blossom into who they are today, you don’t regret the time you spent learning and loving each other. He’s the first real, adult relationship you have ever had (and in a way you’re his first too), after all. You don’t regret any of it.
You don’t think he does, either.
“Are you sure you can watch Baby?” His fretting is still as cute as ever, worried that he’s asking too much of you. He knows Baby is yours as much as he is his, but his insecurities always get the best of him.
“Yes, yes!” You wave him away, too busy focusing on your little one with his chubby hands grabbing at your necklace. Maker, how you adore him. “I don’t have any meetings today”—thankfully—“I only have to go over the checklist for the Winter Charity Gala.” You finally spare him a glance as he hovers by the door. “Besides, people love babies, and if they don’t we could just switch guides or kick them out—either or, isn’t that right, my little womp rat?”
Baby giggles, slapping your chest gently in excitement, his little legs squeezing your middle as you balance him with one hand holding him and the other holding his leg. “Yes!”
He sighs heavily, muttering your name like he used to when you “sacrificed” nights to help him when Baby was teething and wouldn’t let him sleep.
You roll your eyes affectionately. “Stop it, Din. It’s fine. My work is flexible and besides, I've been wanting to spend more time with Baby during the week, anyway.”
His expression falls and his eyes fill with remorse, and stars are you a horrible person. You didn’t mean to make him feel bad!
“Din, I didn’t mean it like that.” You would never blame him for spending time with his son. The fact that he even lets you take him on weekends or even spend days with him during the week is such a huge thing. You’re not Baby’s mom, but Din lets you be his mom. “I just meant I love spending time with Baby.”
“I’m sorry,” he croaks.
“Don't be! You do more than enough,” you assure him, berating yourself for even making him think you don’t appreciate what he does for you. “You don’t need to let me spend time with Baby, but you do. You make sure I do.”
“Of course, I could do no less,” he says, soft and warm, like the blankie you and Din bought Baby when he turned one. “You are Baby’s buir. Blood or no blood.” He closes the distance between you and wraps his arm around you and Baby, pressing his forehead against yours. “We are family.”
You look up at him with glassy eyes, and he smiles down at you, kind and tenderly. His own eyes glassy and the area around his eyes red. “Family,” you repeat, heart bursting in your throat.
“Family!” Baby exclaims, making you and Din burst into wet laughter.
“That’s right, ad’ika,” Din says, rubbing Baby’s back. “Who am I?”
“Papa!”
“And who am I?”
“Mama!” It never gets old hearing him call you that.
“Our Baby is so smart,” you coo, kissing his chubby cheeks loudly, making him giggle and lean into you for more kisses that you’re willing to give. “So, so smart!”
There’s a knock on the door and Din moves just slightly to where you could see the door as you ask who it is.
“It’s, uh, Obi Wan.” Your breath hitches, the hold you have on Baby tightening slightly—I’ve missed you, my dear. I will see you soon; warmth on a cold night, hands brushing hair away from eyes and tears away—shit.
“Who?”
Glancing at Din, you realize you haven’t told him about Obi Wan’s sudden return… visit… whatever this is, not two nights ago when you showed up at his apartment and asked if you could spend the night or yesterday morning when you woke up with puffy eyes and made them a breakfast too large for a family of three.
His eyebrows furrow in question, trying to figure out who Obi Wan is on his own. He practically knows everyone you work with or are friends with except for Obi Wan, whose picture he has definitely seen and name he has definitely heard offhandedly from Anakin and the others but can’t quite place.
“Come in, Obi.” It’s a slip of the tongue, an affectionate nickname that you can’t quite stop yourself from saying even in the presence of an ex-lover.
“Obi?” Din mouths.
You really owe him an explanation.
“I’m sorry about my sudden intrusion, darling. Anakin”—of course Anakin has something to do with this—“had hoped we could have lunch together. He’s sent me—” The door opens slowly and Obi Wan peers into the room, almost as if afraid to enter. And with good reason, when he sees Din and Baby his mouth falls slightly agape at the unexpected sight and he trails off. “Sorry, I didn’t know you had company, if I had known—”
“It’s fine, Obi Wan,” you interject softly, hiking Baby higher on your hip. He’s getting bigger and heavier now, harder to hold, but it doesn’t stop you from carrying your little one. “You’re not interrupting.”
“I was just leaving,” Din follows, glancing at you with intrigue and the silent question of—who is he? You exhale softly.
“Din, this is Obi Wan Kenobi, an… old friend of mine and Luke and Leia’s godfather.” Recognition flashes in his eyes. “Obi Wan, this is Din Djarin.”
“It is nice to finally meet you.” Din moves away from you to offer his hand to Obi Wan, who accepts it. “I have heard a lot about you.”
“As have I,” Obi Wan says, stern and firm, guarded and completely unlike the Obi Wan you once knew.
Din raises an eyebrow, but doesn’t say anything while you groan internally. What exactly has Anakin been feeding Obi Wan?
“What about Baby?” The little one in your arms squirms indignantly and you laugh, finding him looking at you with a scrunched up face, displeased that you haven’t introduced him, yet.
“I’m sorry, honey.” You nuzzle his little button nose with yours, closing some distance between you and Obi Wan. “Obi Wan, this is Baby Djarin, Din’s son.”
“Our,” Din corrects, shooting you a look.
“Right.” You bite your lip to hide your wide smile, ducking your head before nodding. “Our son.”
Obi Wan blinks, taken aback by the sudden information, and you don’t blame him. You’ll have to explain this situation to him, since apparently Anakin and Padmé chose to omit this part of your life from him, at a later date. (You ignore the fact that you have as well, but then again, you weren’t the one that kept in touch with him after he left the second time, and it’s not like you’ve had a chance to tell him since he got back either.)
He clears his throat and a smile settles on his lips, but it doesn’t quite reach his eyes. “It is a pleasure to meet you too, little one.”
Baby is absolutely delighted that Obi Wan is offering his hand, practically jumping out of your arms to shake his hand. Din quickly balances him and you by placing a hand in your back and another on Baby’s tummy.
“Careful,” he murmurs, which makes Baby pout and mutter, “No, thank you,” even though he’s straightening up. Chuckling, he ruffles his son’s curls. “I should get going.”
“Good luck,” you tell him, watching him lean down to kiss the top of Baby’s brown curls. “There’s no doubt you’ll get the job.”
He sighs, a corner of his lips lifting into an unsteady smile. He’s nervous. “I hope so.”
“Hey, you’re going to do great,” you assure him firmly. “You know all the ins and out, and have Cara and Greef vouching for you. You are more than qualified for this position.”
He cracks a small smile. “Yeah, you’re right.” He doesn’t sound super convinced, but he still manages to nod resolutely and picks up his sling bag, but then he pauses. “You sure this is fine?”
You roll your eyes again. “Yes, Din. It’s fine. Baby being here is no trouble at all. The team loves him.”
“Okay. Okay. Just—I’ll try to head back as soon as I’m done.”
“Take your time and don’t worry. We’ll be fine.”
His head tilts slightly, but then he nods, finally relenting. Turning to Obi Wan, he says, “Again, it was nice to finally meet you.”
“You too,” Obi Wan supplies back, it’s still tense and stern, but there’s something else too, something detached and unfocused.
Din doesn’t let it bother him, instead focusing on his son. “Bye, Baby.”
“Bye, Papa!”
“I’ll see you both later.”
“Yeah, yeah, go!” you urge. He shoots you a look and you laugh. “Go.”
Din finally slips out the door but not without another kiss to Baby’s head.
“Son?” Obi Wan breaks his silence as you put Baby down.
He’s quick to run to his bag and pull out a blanket, handing it to you to place for him on the floor, in front of the blue, grey loveseat. Din and you always place it on top to make it easy to take out, and after seeing you and his dad do it so many times, Baby just knows his ground blanket is always on top.
“Yes.” You spread the blanket out, smoothing it, and Baby tries to help by grabbing the corners and tugging.
“How old is he?”
“Hey, Baby,” you faux whisper, “wanna tell Obi how old you are?”
Holding up four fingers in Obi Wan’s direction, he practically yells, “Thwee, almost four!”
Obi Wan chuckles, thoroughly amused at how excited Baby is to share his age and his inability to truly say the letter r. “Wow! You’re so big.”
“Yes,” Baby says, dropping himself onto his bottom once he’s satisfied with how you’ve laid out the blanket. “Very big!”
“He’s turning four in a month,” you inform him with a smile, sitting down next to your little one. “It’s why he’s starting to put up four fingers. Luke and Leia have been teaching him.”
“So Anakin and Padmé know?”
“Of course they do. Why wouldn’t they?”
His eyebrows furrow and he looks away from you for a moment. “They didn't mention it to me.”
“Oh.” Probably because Anakin didn’t think they’d be part of my life after Din and I broke up. But that’s not what you voice, instead you say, “I figured they hadn’t with how you reacted earlier.”
“Baby is from a previous relationship of his?” He wasn’t, not exactly, but Obi Wan doesn’t need to know what isn’t your information to give. “And you and Din are co-parenting?” He raises an eyebrow, a perfectly arched eyebrow, and it reminds you so much of the young Obi Wan Kenobi that you’d try so hard to impress with your ever growing knowledge.
You’re sure he doesn’t mean to sound like he’s being judgmental, but it sure as hell sounds like it when he stares at you like that—like he’s questioning your choices. You don’t like it. Never did.
“Baby was only a few months old when he came into our lives.”
“You have grown attached.” It isn’t a question, it’s a statement, a heavy loaded statement, one you don’t know if you even want to begin to decipher.
You sigh slowly and say, “Yes, Obi Wan. I am attached.” Baby slaps his hands on your thighs, grinning toothily, and you smooth his hair away from his wide, brown eyes. “How could I not be? We are family. Blood or no blood.”
“I see.” He wants to say more, you can tell by the way he speaks his words slowly, with restraint.
Something bubbles in your stomach, nothing pleasant. It's anger and frustration and this need to yell at him like when you were both younger and less mature. It only ever happened when he wasn’t listening to you, treating you like you had no idea what you were doing or saying. It was rare those moments, mostly born from lack of sleep from all-nighters focused on essays and exams, or sometimes born from nothing at all, just bad luck and circumstance.
It makes you want to push, just like then; to force him to tell you exactly what he wants to say. It’s never stopped him before, so why now? But Baby babbling in full sentences to himself while trying to pull his toys out of his bag reminds you that you are not that person anymore, haven’t been that person in such a long time. And maybe it’s for the best.
“Wed truck?” Baby asks, showing off the newest toy in his collection, and when you place your hand out, thinking he wants to give it to you, he stands on his two little feet and walks over to Obi Wan, careful to not trip over the blanket. “Cheer up, pwease. Wed truck will help!”
Any hint of anger or frustration or hurt that may have remained, dissipates as Baby looks up at the standing man, his little hand holding onto his pant leg and the other holding up the truck.
Obi Wan stares down at him, and that earlier aloofness, that stern way he regarded Din, and even you with, is gone, replaced by something tender, warm and soft. “Thank you, Baby,” he says, dropping to his eye level and gingerly taking the truck from chubby hands—the toy that seems so big in Baby’s hand completely swallowed by his larger one.
Baby lets out a pleased giggle and tilts his head, grabbing onto Obi Wan’s knees. “You're very welcome!” With a random smooch to Obi Wan’s nose, he moves away from him and makes his way over to you, grinning proudly.
Obi Wan stands, watching the little boy fondly as you ruffle his hair, giving him a wet kiss to his cheek that makes him laugh loudly. “You’re raising a wonderful boy, both you and Din.”
You pause your onslaught of kisses—Baby managing to slip away from your grasp—and you watch him closely, love filling your chest. “I like to believe we are.”
Baby moves to his bag and pulls out his learning tablet, immediately plopping down with it and opening up the case to pull up one of his many learning apps. It had taken you and Din a long time to finally give in and get him the darn thing, but Padmé had vouched for the item. Now Baby can’t have enough of it, always curious about everything and waving the thing in your face occasionally to ask you a question.
“I always knew your future family would be lucky,” he says, far away look in his eyes and smile barely lifted—there, just not wide. Your breath stutters. “You and Din make a lovely couple.”
Did he not know? Is this why he didn’t know about baby?
“Obi—” Your eyebrows furrow and you find yourself standing, tentatively reaching for his hand—and why do you feel like easing whatever turmoil he is in?—“Din and I… we care for eachother, deeply. He is my friend, the father of my child, but he and I—we haven’t been together in such a long time.”
“Maker.” He breathes in and out, squeezing your hand and lifting it to his face. “I have no right to be—I have been gone for too long, haven’t I?” He rests it against the slope of his cheek, nuzzling into your palm. “Missed out too much on your life. You’ve grown so much.”
“So have you,” you whisper, allowing him to press kisses to your palm, wanting nothing more than to weave your hands into his hair. You repeat the words, because it’s true. You can see it in his tired eyes, how they don’t shine as they once used to—the lines that have appeared at the edge of his eyes and the beard he’s starting to grow out, keeping it nice and trim.
“Not as much as you think, my darling.” He chuckles, kissing your wrist one last time and just allowing your hand to cradle his cheek. “Appearance wise, maybe. But mentally…”
“That can’t be true. You wouldn’t be here if it were.” Even if it’s only for a couple of days.
“Perhaps.”
Baby giggles and you briefly glance at him. He’s perfectly content, mouthing words and sounding them out.
“If I,” Obi Wan starts, stealing your attention from your baby, “if I told you I wanted to stay, what would you say?”
Your throat swallows—dry, like sandpaper, eyes wide as they study him, searching for a semblance of uncertainty or lie in his words. Perhaps for a confirmation that this isn’t a cruel joke meant to tug at your heartstring and pull them apart until you’ve become undone. There is nothing in his clear, blue eyes that tells you it is.
But you know that Obi Wan wouldn’t say something like this without it holding some truth.
He waits patiently for you, eyes searching yours just as intensely—but he’s worried, eyes wavering, unconfident.
This isn’t you. This isn’t him. This topsy-turvy, unstable relationship where you’re trying to figure out the other person, learn who they have become in the years lost without asking or finding a reason to talk. No, your relationship was always about comfort, knowing the other by watching and observing, of making the other feel safe—at home.
You know how to respond, “I would say: welcome home, Obi Wan Kenobi.”
“I’m home,” his voice hoarse and thick, “my little warrior.”
Your mouth falls open—the words, the question: “are you truly staying?” stuck in your throat and trying to form on your tongue, but you’re in disbelief. “Obi-Wan, what—”
A small arm slivers around your leg, and you stumble forward from the startle and momentum, knocking into Obi Wan. Strong arms wrap around your waist and pull you upright and steady against his chest. Your eyes lock onto blue ones in surprise and he mumbles a soft, “Hello, there.”
You huff under your breath, mumbling your own, “hello” and he smiles at the sound. Ignoring the flutter in your tummy and chest (blaming it on the stumble you almost took), you glance down to find Baby with an arm wrapped around Obi Wan’s leg and yours, hugging you both tightly.
“Welcome home, Obi,” he exclaims when you both glance down.
Obi Wan laughs loud, head thrown back and hair falling over his eyes—your heart constricts at the sight. When was the last time you saw him laugh like this—not in pictures or videos but in person?
Too long, your heart supplies in a broken whisper.
“Why thank you, little one.” He slowly untangles himself from you and crouches down in front of Baby, brushing his curls away from his face. “Would you like to see a magic trick?”
“Magic?” Baby claps, letting out an excited chirp of agreement, ready to be wowed by whatever Obi Wan was about to show him. “Yes, please!”
Warmth takes over you as you watch how gentle Obi Wan is with Baby, which doesn’t surprise you. But it hits differently when it’s your own child he’s being sweet to. Is this what it would’ve been like if he had given you both a chance? Kids of your own? Marriage?
Your phone rings, pulling you out of a spiral of thoughts you would rather not go down when he’s present. You thank the maker for the timely call and answer without a thought—“Anakin.”
“Where are you?”
You sigh, turning away from Obi Wan and Baby to focus on your shelves full of astronomy books. “I’m not coming to lunch.”
Baby squeals in delight and you can’t help the smile that tugs at your lips as he grabs the quarter Obi Wan produced from thin air.
“Is that the little womp rat I hear?” You hummed in agreement, briefly explaining why Baby is with you and not his father. “That usually doesn’t stop you from coming out to lunch with me.”
Baby shows you the coin and you mouth an excited, “Woah, that’s amazing!” He laughs giddily and returns it to Obi Wan, asking him to do it again.
You briefly glance at Obi Wan and Baby and lock eyes with the former. You offer him a small smile before quickly turning away. “You have something to tell him, don’t you? You said you would.”
“I—I know.”
“Not so easy, is it?” you murmur, trying to make a joke out of it, but it falls flat, and you know it does when he sighs.
“I’ll do it. I will,” he affirms. “Rip it off like a bacta strip.”
“Ani, you don’t have to.”
He’s quiet for a moment and when he breaks it, his voice does too, “I owe him this much.”
This much. Clean—the air was too clean when there was blood and death and—stop!
You shake your head and your heart drops to your stomach. Stars. You should’ve figured this had nothing to do with Obi Wan but everything to do with Anakin. Maker, how stupid could you have been? You were so worried about you and Obi Wan that you neglected Anakin completely!
“Ani—“ your breath stutters.
“Darling?” You turn around, and Obi Wan stands only a few steps away from you, Baby sitting on his forearm as if weighed nothing—blue eyes watching you worriedly. “Everything all right?”
No.
“Yes.” You clear your throat. “I think Baby and I will be joining you for lunch, afterall.” Anakin says your name, and you cut him off. “We’ll meet you by the pendulum.” Anakin once more says your name, but you hang up on him.
“Shall we get going?” You meet Obi Wan’s gaze with a shaky smile, pushing your hair away from your face.
Tumblr media
There was never a dull moment when it was you, Padmé, and Obi Wan. Your headmistress used to call you and Padmé trouble, wondering how it was possible you two could influence each other so badly and still keep up with your grades—as if sneaking out and fooling around occasionally was so blasphemous.
Things only got livelier when you graduated and Anakin moved to Coruscant. Thankfully for your headmistress’ blood pressure, you were long gone, starting university and finally moving into the apartment your parents had promised you would be yours (and Anakin’s). Instead, you were giving Obi Wan headaches and Padmé heart palpitations.
Much to their dismay and your amusement.
“Remember when you punched the guy?”
“Don’t remind me!” You groan, clutching your hand. “My hand still hurts whenever I think of that night.”
“If I remember correctly, Anakin also punched him,” Obi Wan says pointedly in Anakin’s direction. “And that ultimately got us banned from the bar.”
“To be fair, he was asking for it.” Anakin shrugs. “I only finished the job she started.”
“Go!” Padmé yelled, louder and with much force than Anakin.
“What?” You didn’t even get to finish the word as the large man you had punched emerged from the bar, blood caked to his face and eye swollen beyond belief—which you know for a fact you didn’t do. And he wasn’t alone; four other men with menacing mugs followed after him, heads whipping in different directions—until they landed in your direction.
Your eyes widened and your heart dropped to your stomach—that’s not good. “Kriff!”
Without waiting for the others, Obi Wan took your hand in his and began to lead you away from the parking lot, ignoring your sudden yelp at being tugged in the opposite direction of where you were positive he parked his car.
“What did you do, Anakin?” Obi Wan yelled back at the twenty year old, who looked far too amused by the situation than he should’ve been.
“Gave him a little taste of what he deserved!”
Padmé yelled something, voice drowned out by a motorcycle rushing by you, but it was followed by laughter so loud it overpowered the sounds of the ever alive city.
“What was it that Padme said while we were running?” you ask, trying to remember with narrowed eyes.
“That they couldn’t take us anywhere nice,” Anakin says with a shit eating grin.
You scoff, muttering, “That’s right,” while turning to Baby to make sure he was finishing his soup.
“And she was right.” Obi Wan shakes his head. “Having to pick up my car from the tow yard was a nightmare the next morning.”
“Hey! Padmé and I thought you two were already in the car.” Anakin gestures between you and Obi Wan. “I was kind of chancing on our getaway car being ready, but no, instead you two were just standing there in the middle of the parking lot.”
Lips connected with your knuckles—soft, plush, delicate and your breath hitched—he was never this bold with you, always keeping you at a certain distance for as long as you could remember—his darling, but never truly his.
The corners of your lips drop and you try to pick them up again as best as you can, hoping it doesn’t look like a grimace. It does. You know it does with how Obi Wan’s smile wavers and Anakin glances between you with a raised brow.
“Well,” Obi Wan starts, hoping to remove the uncomfortable veil that has fallen over you, “it’s a birthday I’ll never forget.”
“It was a good one, wasn’t it?” Anakin takes the bait, recalling that night fondly. “But nothing beats turning 18 and finally moving to Coruscant, for me.”
You laugh under your breath and Obi Wan chuckles, both sounding a little strained, but Anakin doesn't seem to notice. Probably for the best.
“All done,” Baby suddenly celebrates, raising his arms with glee in your direction.
“Good job, you little womp rat!” Anakin reaches for Baby and cleans his face with a napkin, your little one allowing him to do so, unlike when you try to do it. While Anakin might have some thoughts towards Din, there was no denying Baby holds a spot in Anakin’s soft heart.
“I’ll get the check,” Obi Wan offers, waving to get the attention of your waiter. You’re about to refute him, but Anakin nudges your shoe and shakes his head. Sighing softly, you close your mouth and watch him give up his card to the young man that had been serving your table.
“Thank you,” you whisper gratefully and he smiles at you.
“It’s my pleasure, darling.”
With your meal paid and Obi Wan’s card returned to him, you exit the restaurant with Baby holding your hand and walking, refusing to be held and carried to the trolley. It means you’ll be walking slower, but maybe this is exactly what you need to be able to tell Obi Wan—more time.
You and Anakin exchange looks and he gives you a little nod while you let out a sigh—it’s now or never.
Rip it off like a bacta strip, little one.
“Obi Wan,” you start slowly, “there’s something we need to tell you.”
He pauses mid walk and steps aside to leave an area of the sidewalk free for people to walk by. It’s a busy day, even for a weekday, but it’s not surprising. The plaza and park near the Observatory are always busy on bright, sunny days.
“We’ve been—we’ve been having—” Anakin lets out a growl of annoyance, struggling to be able to form the words. His eyebrows scrunch up and he scowls, and you gently pull him back with a squeeze of his shoulder. He glances at you and you tilt your head to the side.
He sighs and steps aside, taking Baby from you and leading him over to the grassy field to distract him for a few minutes.
“Is everything all right?” There’s a hint of panic in Obi Wan’s words and you quickly nod to try and dispel it.
“Yes!” He’s taken aback by the volume of your voice and you soften your next words, “Everything is fine. There’s just something he’s—we’ve been wanting to tell you for quite some time.” Now that your hands are unoccupied, you wring them and keep your eyes leveled with his chest. “Every year, for the past few years, we—we’ve been visiting your father’s resting place,” you whisper, afraid of what speaking these words aloud might do to him. Last time you tried telling him, he shut down the idea before you could even bring it up completely.
“I—I see,” he answers with trepidation, unsure.
“Everyone gets together to clean the area and replace the flowers we leave for him when we visit.”
“I—I appreciate it.”
“And when we’re done we go home and we—”
“You honor my father,” he says hoarsely, finishing it off for you.
“It’s what he wanted,” you murmur. And it was. He knows this. He was present when Qui Gon said so. “We would—we would like it if you joined us, Obi Wan. Everyone brings a dish and we have live music, and we share stories—”
“I—I see… and when is this happening?”
“The day before—”
“The day before he passed,” he once again finishes for you and you nod hesitantly, finally looking up to meet his gaze, and although he’s already looking at you, his eyes are glazed over, not exactly focused on you.
“Obi—”
He takes a step back and clears his throat. “I’m sorry, darling. I—I need to go.”
Not again. Please, not again!
“Obi—” you try once more, reaching for his hand, but he jerks away and your hand falls, grasping the empty space between the two of you—again.
“Please tell Anakin I will speak to him soon.” He turns on his heels and swiftly walks away—shoulders tense and never once looking back.
“You must let go when the time comes, little one.”
Your shoulders sag, letting out a shaky breath as Anakin comes to a stop beside you. There’s no need to look at him to know he’s been hurt by Obi Wan’s reaction, because you have been too. But what is there to expect of a person who doesn’t want to let go of the dead?
Obi Wan was right, he hasn’t changed at all, and you were a fool to hope otherwise.
“Let’s go,” you break the silence, taking Baby from him and placing Anakin’s hand—that hand—in yours, not missing the way it trembles in your hold.

T.F.’s eyes finally slide open. It takes them a while to focus — there’s still the hectic pink of fever in his cheeks, though right now I’m so happy to see him look any shade other than ash grey that no sight has ever been dearer to me. He blinks a couple of times, snuggling close to my chest in an instinctive, thoughtless sort of way as he tries to glance around only to find himself too weak to lift his head for it, then looks up at me, befuddled and expectant. I swallow at how he seems to have known it was me next to him on the bed before even opening his eyes — the healer lady had said it might help him make sense of things faster if he woke to somethin’ familiar, guess she was right — and carefully stroke some hair away from his forehead. It’s curling a bit from the dampness there and in a state of uncombed chaos he’d never allow under normal circumstances; it makes him look, I dunno. Different than normal. Like a kid, almost. Small, for all that he’s those two eternal inches taller that he keeps lording over me. My arms tighten around him. She’d said he was gonna be completely fine after some rest ‘n all, but… still.
“Malcolm?” he says, voice scratching up his throat, eyes shining with feverish brightness but lucid enough, too earnestly if blearily confounded to be worried. “What the hell’s goin’... where…”
“Sssh, don’t worry about it, I’ve got it handled,” I say gruffly, pressing my lips to his slightly too warm forehead and hearing his small surprised-but-not-displeased noise. “You just… sleep it off and get back on your feet again so I can yell at you for that dumb shit you pulled back there.”
He laughs a bit at that, finally managing to glance around the spartan interior of the small stone cottage and seemingly not finding the results of the exercise terribly rewarding. With a strained grunt he lets his head fall back to the straw pillow and slowly nuzzles his face against my chest. “Oh, I pulled some dumb shit,” he murmurs, sardonic even while weak as a kitten.
I growl, squeezing him tighter against me as carefully as I can. The broken ribs probably healed up along with the wound when the healer did her magic lightshow… thing, but I don’t feel like testing that theory right now regardless. “Oh, don’t even start with me, Tobias. Gettin’ in the way of the blast like that, I — you — ” I splutter for a few seconds, having to suppress a wince at the memory of the way he’d pushed me out of the way, that strange confused moment afterwards when all I’d been able to notice was his weight on top of me and the smell of blood. “What the hell were you thinking?”
“I wasn’t,” he drawls, a smile in his exhausted voice as he rests his forehead against my collarbone and winds his arm over my waist, using the right now truly pathetic extent of his strength to draw me close. “Now you know how it feels.”
He sounds much smugger about it than anyone decently should. I bite my tongue against a couple of choice words that fight to get out in response only because he just gently bounced off death’s door and I’m still stupid with gratitude that I managed to catch him before he hit the ground. Y’know, spiritually speaking. So instead I sigh and comb my fingers through the hair at the nape of his neck. “Shit, T.F., just… stop spendin’ breath being smart with me and start spendin’ it on getting better, huh?”
“Aye aye, Head Nurse Graves,” he murmurs. Despite the amiable sarcasm I can feel sleep pulling at him again, his limbs going heavy and slack as he burrows against me, breathing growing slow and deep. In some ways it’s like every night when we go to sleep, and in other ways…
I brush my lips to the top of his head, and he sighs softly and fumbles, clumsily, for my hand. He kisses the back of it very gently, then looks up and runs his fingers down my cheek, pausing over the small cut there that was, somehow, the only mark I walked away from this whole debacle with — it’s already scabbing over.
He smiles.
“It was worth it,” he says, gaze momentarily bright and clear like sun reflecting on the surface of the ocean in calm. “...are you okay?”
Am I… but, well, that’s a talk for another time and I know I ain’t getting him to let it go before I answer properly, he’s impossible like that sometimes.
“Yeah, I’m fine. A bit rattled, but that’ll pass. Now sleep,” I add severely, wrapping my arms around him properly again to stop him from wriggling around so much, and he chuckles and dutifully lets himself settle against the shelter of my body under the woollen blankets, his face tucked safely against the line of my throat. He’s snoring gently within minutes, in that hilariously dainty little way he has as opposed to my wall-shaking one. Reportedly. Mainly according to the testimony of a known liar and scoundrel, I’d take it with a grain of salt if I were you.
I stay awake for a long time, listening to him breathe and feeling the warmth of his body against me as I hold him. The healer comes in once or twice to check up on him and tells me each time, mingled sympathy and amusement in her voice, that he really is going to be okay and that I can sleep too.
At around dawn I do, finally lulled by the warmth of the covers and the strong, undaunted beat of his heart.
For reasons of its own that I do not fully understand my brain chose to write this instead of working on any of the many WIPs I've got going on, so here we go lol. some hurt comfort nonsense coming right up

can you tell me what you think about the kids at 1a?
hi anon, I'm sorry that I took so long to answer this, when I saw your ask I felt really lazy, because there's too many people in the class lol
this is going to be a long post, since we have 20 characters to cover, so I'm putting it under the cut
okay, first of all I want to say that I don't hate any of the kids at 1a besides mineta, BUT, I do have a feeling of indifference towards at least half of them and do dislike some, I always thought that the story would been benefited if there were less people in the classes, since hori would've been able to develop them better, so don't expect me to talk a lot about everyone. also, don't take everything that I say too seriously, this is not a character analysis, I'm just doing it for fun.
anyway, the order that I'm using to list them is their seating arrangement in the class, so let's start
yuga aoyama: I already said this here before but I really like aoyama, he's ridiculous in the best way possible, he feels like a character that horikoshi took away from ouran high school club or something. since the chapter where he and deku became friends were released I felt like he deserved more screentime, because his backstory about him thinking of himself as different than the other kids in the class because of his quirk being "defective" is really interesting, I always wanted to see more of his friendship with deku and he overcoming his fears (since he was shown to be easily frightened)
mina ashido: I LOVE mina, I think that her design is so cool and her personality is really likable, when we had the kirishima flashback and we saw her protecting her friends from machia even though she was scared too was the moment that I decided that we deserved to see more of her in the story, I really liked to see she having a bigger role for a female character in a shonen, I wasn't too bad in the war but I still want more
tsuyu asui: okay, this is going to be controversial because I feel like everyone likes her, but I feel really indifferent towards her, maybe I was influenced by one of my friends that really doesn't like her but since that scene where she says that going to rescue bakugo is the same as acting like villains I started to not care about her all that much, and yes, I know that she admitted that she was wrong and everything but yeah, I don't really click with her personality (but I don't hate her, please don't be mad at me kdbdgsusj)
tenya iida: ah, what a respectable little man iida is, I really like him, I think that the way that he take everything so seriously is hilarious, like him acting super dramatically in their exams to be as similar as possible to his vision of what a villain is. I really like how he grew since the stain arc and how he decided to be a hero that prioritizes the safety of others in detriment to fighting the villains. I'm really happy that he became the focus of the story lately and that he was the one who could hold deku's hand, I want him to have a bigger role in the story for now, maybe even encountering with stain again and showing to him that he's now a great hero
ochaco uraraka: I love her personality, she's really cute, and her fight with bakugo at the beginning of the story was a highlight to me back then, but, I feel like her character became too much attached to deku after aoyama made her realize that she likes him, almost felt like her personality was gone and her only defining feature was having a crush on him, anyway, thank god that apparently she's going to have importance right now in the story because she's too much of a cool character to become just the romance interest for the male lead
mashirao ojiro: denki playing with his tail is cute, I think that is funny how horikoshi always describes him as the plain one, it was cool when he refused to participate in the sports festival because he didn't felt like he deserved
denki kaminari: oh this sweet dumbass, I love him, he's so funny and cute, I think that is that funniest thing how he just decided to call bakugo "kacchan" and is super overly friendly with him and bakugo just lets him, I actually don't think that he's "stupid" as part of the fandom seems to think, I strongly believe that people can be smart in their own ways, maybe he's not the brightest in math for example but he already showed to be able to come up with strategies, I feel like denki has a lot of anxiety inside of him because of his quirk, but i also feel like he's really genuine in trying to be a hero, overall I really like him, he's really sweet
eijiro kirishima: this swee- I mean, super manly man is amazing, I feel like kirishima is for bnha what rock lee was for naruto, I really really really like him, I love his personality and I love even more his backstory, he's really a great person and he deserves all the love that he get from the fandom, I hope that we're going to see even more of him in the future
koji koda: he's adorable, his voice is really adorable the japanese dub, his quirk is like a disney princess
rikido sato: he bakes, I like cakes and pies, we would've been best friends
mezo shoji: since I saw that hori said that he uses his mask because people are afraid of him I'm impatiently waiting for his face to be shown, and if he doesn't look like a junji ito monster or something I'm going to be pretty disappointed, anyway, I like his personality, he was really cool at the forest arc (I clearly don't remember the arcs names, I'm sorry lol), and I feel like he could have a bigger role in the story if hori finally decides to address the prejudice against people with mutant quirks
kyoka jiro: she kind of reminds me of a girl that used to bully me in middle school because of the way that she treats denki but I still like her lol I liked how she learned that is okay liking to sing and music in general and being a hero at the same time, because after all a lot of people were saved by music and/or their favorite artists, but since I find her quirk so cool I wanted to she her fighting more
hanta sero: he's funny, even funnier than denki, he has a really relatable sense of humor and I love him for that, his quirk is really cool, but I feel kind of bad for him because deku now has practically the same one and he's not the only spiderman in the story anymore (his quirk being similar to spiderman was actually what made me like him in the first place because peter is my favorite hero ever)
fumikage tokoyami: my 12yo emo self shakes inside of me every time that I see him, anyway, I really like him, how would I not? he has a bird head, he's nice without being overly friendly and dark shadow is really cute, I don't really remember everything that happened in the war but I remember him saying to hawks that he believes in him, so I really wanted to see him frustrated at his mentor because of what he did to twice please horikoshi address the consequences of twice's death, I'm tired of waiting
shoto todoroki: ah my angel, shoto was the reason why I started reading the manga back in 2015, I knew that he was going to be my favorite just by seeing his character design. I love shoto, I want him to become the happiest person in the world because he really deserves it, I know that everyone thinks that deku is what an ideal hero looks like but o me it is shoto, he's kind, sweet, forgiving, has a heart made of gold and is just genuinely a good person, I could talk about him for a whole week without pause and still find more things to compliment about him so let's move on before I write over 10000 words about how much I love him
tooru hagakure: she... exists...
katsuki bakugo: while shoto is my favorite, I have to admit that bakugo has the best character development in the hero side of the story, I used to hate him at the beginning of the series but now I love him, a lot, he shows that horikoshi knows how to write a compelling redemption arc if he planned it since the beginning, I love that he started only having "fight" points at the entrance exam for ua to now having his first priority at saving people, bakugo is other that I could talk about for hours so let's move on
izuku midoriya: I like deku when he's not putting his nose at the todofam business, he's a good kid who needs some self esteem urgently, the way that he never seemed to care about his own well being always made me nervous, even though I never felt like he was in real danger, he's the mc for a reason, to summarize: I like him personality wise but some of the narrative choices that hori made for him are not my favorites
minoru mineta: I don't care, I hope for him to vanish from existence
momo yaoyorozu: she's the stereotypical anime girl with glasses (but without glasses in this case), I like her personality, she's really cute, her quirk is neat and she's super smart but, everytime that she puts her hero costume on... I feel super uncomfortable... this is not her fault of course but I think that I would like her even more if she was less sexualized
I could write more if I take more time to think, but I'm not going to do that today, if you want to know my opinion about other characters or something more specific about the kids feel free to send me other ask
also, I'm sorry if there's any atrocious grammar mistakes on this, I didn't reviewed the text and wrote just what I had in my head in the moment at four am

Oscar Diaz-Toxic Pt.2
I don’t know why I love writing these toxic scenarios so much lol. It’s so fun to write the arguing scenes. I think there is something wrong with me.
~
Oscar was currently out, riding around doing who knows what so it gave you the perfect amount of time to get ready and sneak out to link up with Naomi. Or so you thought. You just so happen to end up walking out of the house as soon as your boyfriends red car turns into the drive way,”Where you think you going dressed like that?” He asks as he climbs out quickly and glances at you and then to Naomi’s parked car in the street,”Is that yo little friends whip? You said you were done with them, now I catch you trying to sneak off before I get home? Dressed like some puta at that.” He scoffs as he slowly walks towards you,”Get yo ass back in the house, you ain’t going any where.” He tells you sternly, just as Naomi honks her horn.
“Oscar, she’s my friend. She was my friend way before we became a thing.” You try to explain,”We just want to grab a few drinks. I won’t stay out all night this time.”
“Nah, I don’t care Y/N. You need to get back inside. Now.”
It takes a lot for you to keep your cool, he was getting on your last nerve with his recent possessive asshole behavior. Sure it was fun in the bedroom but not in real life situations. You deserve to be able to go out! Just like he does! So that’s why you stand your ground and tilt your nose up at him,”No. I’m going out with my friend tonight. I’m not going to go back and forth with you.”
“Did you just say no?”
“Yup. And I mean it, I’ll see you in a little bit.” You shrug as you spin around on your heels,”Bye.” You call out over your shoulder.
“If you go, I’m done with yo ass for real.” He threatens, just like he always did. You knew as much as he did that you two weren’t going anywhere but it still stung that he could say that with such ease,”I mean it! I’ll go get me a new girl. One that has fucking respect for me!”
“Aight bet, go find you a new chick.” You say as you quickly turn around and walk back up to him,”She ain’t gonna deal with half the shit I put up with. Go on if you want to, cause guess what Oscar. I can have any guy I want, one little call and I’ll have my ex wrapped around my finger.” You say with a head tilt,”All this bull shit cause I want to go out with my friend. I’m over this shit.” You scoff more to yourself than to him,”You have been with Sad Eyez practically every night, so why is it a issue when I want to go out?”
“It’s a issue because I say it is. What me and my brothers do is business, something you don’t even need to be concerned about.”
“Fuck that, I’m your girl ain’t I? I’m going to be concerned and don’t be sly about what you do with your homies. I know they are all single, so that means y’all be having hynas around. I’m not dumb Oscar.”
“Nah you don’t know what the fuck you talking about and you ain’t my girl if you get in that car.” He shrugs,”Little street walker, go on then. Them streets calling yo name mamas.”
You can’t help but laugh at him, finding this whole situation annoying and amusing at the same time,”I sure am for the streets. The streets are my home.” You agree with ease,”Let me go get to them then before it gets to late.”
“Yo shit will be packed and ready for you.” He warns, watching you walk off with out another word,”Grimey ass! Don’t come back here!” He shouts before waving his hand in dismissal and heading inside.
“What the fuck was all that?” Naomi asks with a raised eyebrow,”He okay?”
“No, it’s Oscar. He’s always pissed off about something.” You tell her with clipped tone as you pull on your seatbelt.
“Why is he such a Debby downer! We don’t need no bad vibes over here. We are getting turnt tonight.” Your best friend groans as she speeds off before going into a conversation about one of the newer Santo members that she recently hooked up with.
~
After arriving at the bar, you let Naomi wander off after you guys got seated. She wanted to mingle and you were okay with that since you were busy arguing with Oscar over text.
*You foul. How you just gonna leave me?* He sends,*You really tried to sneak off on me?! Ha! Yo ass got caught.*
*You were being a asshole and I knew if I told you I was going out you still would have been against me coming.*
*Yeah I would have! Wanna know why? Cause I bet if I pull up right now you two are gonna be surrounded by guys. You love the attention don’t ya? Witcho thirsty ass.*
*Actually I’m sitting by myself because like always you’re trying to ruin my night. Cry baby ass boy. Such a cry baby that you have a stupid tear tattooed on your stupid face.*
*Aight smart ass, we throwing low blows? You know what this tattoo means. Don’t get it twisted. You must have me confused for some other foo. Why you still texting me? Go entertain them dudes you with.*
*Oh you’re so hard. I’m so scared.* You reply as you feel a presence take a seat across from you,*I don’t have time for this right now Oscar and I will gladly entertain them cause I’m single at this point. You do you and I’ll do me.* You double text before putting your phone inside the small clutch.
“You good ma? I see you over here with your head buried in your phone. You ain’t having a good time?” A deep voice says as you look up to take in the man in front of you. You’d be lying if you said he didn’t look good. He was on the shorter side but he was muscular and had some weight on him. Not to mention the fact that he was covered from head to toe in tattoos. He was definitely somebody you’d be attracted to back in the day, however since you met Oscar nobody can compare to him in your eyes.
“Oh hi.” You smile and meet his gaze,”I am having a good time, I just got caught up with something. What about you? Are you having a good time?”
“I am. Are you here by yourself?” He questions,”That can’t be any fun.”
“No, I’m here with my friend...she’s right over there.” You say after scanning the bar and pointing her out,”The short red head.”
“Oh so it’s a girls night out then? I don’t mean to interrupt.” He smirks
“You’re fine.” You smile,”You’re not interrupting anything.”
“That’s what’s up then, I’m Sergio by the way and you are?” He asks and holds his hand out for you to take.
“Y/N.” You smile and reach across to shake his hand, Naomi coming over seconds later and glancing in between the two of you.
“Hi. Naomi here, her best friend.” She says with a large smile before whispering in your ear,”Are you single tonight or que?”
“Seems like it.” You giggle awkwardly as you keep eye contact with your new male companion,”So I take it your not here alone then?”
“Nah, I’m with a few of my homies. We got a little section in the back over there. I actually came over here to ask if you wanted to join us. The both of you.” He explains as he stands up with a small slap on the table,”What do y’all say?”
“She’s down.” Naomi agrees eagerly,”We are both down.”
“Sure.” You laugh as you stand up,”Only if you have bottles though.” You joke
“Oh baby, I got henny, vodka, patron. Whatcha want to sip on tonight?” He asks as he leads the way over to the rented out sections.
“Aye I’m down with all of that.” You shrug, you weren’t nearly this talkative when it came to meeting new people but Oscar was getting on your nerves and you wanted to have a little fun. Besides it’s not like he’s going to find out, you didn’t even tell him where you went. Not to mention the fact that you just ‘broke up’ with him. As far as you’re concerned you’re single for the night. If he’s allowed to do it to you, you can do the same to him. You grab a hold of Sergios arm as he pushes through the crowd, Naomi doing the same and grabbing your hand,”You can make me a drink since y’all got all these bottles.”
He smiles down at you when he feels your touch,”I got you girl, don’t even worry.”
“Make sure it’s strong though. I ain’t with that weak shit.”
“Shit, don’t have to tell me twice.” He chuckles,”Double shot for yo ass it is. What about you, you drinking?” He asks back at Naomi.
“Hell yeah but I’ll ask one of your little friends to make my drink.” She jokes, all three of you laughing.
“That’s a bet. I’m sure one of them will gladly do that. You have your pick.” He grins as he comes to a stop in front of a round booth, three equally tatted up guys sitting down at it.
“That’s Zay, Jojo, and that’s Reggie.” He introduces.
“Ladies.”
“What’s up?”
“Nice to meet ya.” They all speak, letting Naomi slide in first before you do the same. Sergio getting in last as he presses up against your side. He reaches for the clear liquor and begins to make you a drink as you all get to know each other a bit more. It’s not long before all of you guys are a bit tipsy, you and Sergio getting a bit handsy at one point. Nothing to serious, just the casual arm around the shoulder or hand on the thigh.
“Aye what time is it? Aren’t they closing soon?” Naomi slurs, the last call for drinks being shouted through out the bar.
“Damn, it’s already 2. Fuck it we can go to a after hours club.” Jojo says as he finishes off the bottle of henny in one swing.
“2?” You ask as you search for your phone in your clutch,”Damn.” You say to yourself as you see all the missed calls and text from Oscar.
“Yo man blowing you up?” Sergio asks with a smug look as he sees all the notifications on your bright phone screen.
“He’s not my man right now...I think.” You admit honestly.
“Aye, I ain’t judging.” He shrugs while holding his hands up,”I will judge you if you don’t take another shot though.” He laughs as he reaches for the patron and waves the bottle in front of you.
“Why? You can’t handle anymore?” You tease as you take it from him and bring it to your lips, taking a bit more than expected as you scrunch up your face after,”I shouldn’t have done that.” You giggle, already knowing you were at your limit. It didn’t take long for the liquor to hit you. Your vision slightly blurry and everything around you making you laugh. It’s not till a lit song comes on that you and Naomi get up and dance in the little section. Your friend recording everything and posting it without double checking the footage. Which is how Oscar found out where you were and who you were with, Naomi accidentally getting you throwing it back on Sergio for a few seconds before you bust out in laughter.
Oscar stands up from the couch so fast after watching her Snapchat that his homies follow suit,”We gotta roll out.” He barks as he picks up his gun off the coffee table and tucks it in the waistband of his pants.
“What’s wrong foo? Something happen on the block?” Sad Eyez asks worriedly
“Nah but something bout to happen.” He answers as he heads to the front door,”I’m bout to catch another case. My girl got me fucked up.”

Hey, would you be open to IronAgent (Phil x Tony)? If yes, from the angst list (because /of course/ I look there first lol) 19: "Why did you wait until I moved on?" If you feel like it. Thanks! <3
never done this one before, but i like it!
Tony isn’t used to heartbreak. He’s kind of an asshole like that. Or maybe he is used to heartbreak, but he’s not quite used to people admitting that they don’t like him like that.
Phil Coulson was someone he met while at an orchestra with Pepper and showing up late and getting the wrong seat and falling asleep.
He was the one who jabbed him awake and explained why the orchestra was so important, and Tony saw how much he could appreciate it, and he wanted more of it.
So he asked. Phil said yes. And their first date was to a diner where Tony had to give Phil, like, eight quarters for the jukebox.
He was different from anyone Tony usually saw. Different as in decent, different as in he wore a white button-up shirt nearly every single day, and Tony liked it, but he liked it more when it was a bit wrinkled and Phil broke down and unbuttoned the top two.
They dated for eleven months and thirty days. They broke up in July.
In retrospect, Tony can see why. Phil was always interested in specialized security and was one of the best people to stay calm under stress. (Tony joked that it was because of him.)
Phil calls him in July. Tony is in Malibu, and Phil lives in Chicago, and he won’t allow Tony to pay for a plane or train ticket.
Now he knows why.
The phone call is short, mainly because Tony knows that he’s bursting with questions and Phil won’t answer them, because it’s considered rude to ask someone why they don’t want to choose you anymore.
Tony says okay. He says okay on the phone, which sucks, and it’s...
He calls Rhodey next.
“You okay?”
“Probably. Maybe.”
“You’ll be fine,” Rhodey says, in that tone of voice that Tony usually always trusts, but this time it’s different because Rhodey isn’t with him right now, he’s with his cousin in Florida trying to learn how to handle different beach-themed cocktails. Call it scientific research.
“Listen,” Rhodey says, “I gotta go. Ben’s taking me to dinner, but call me when you need me, okay?”
“Got it.”
He’s not going to do that.
Phil joined SHIELD. You can’t have personal connections, not really.
And Tony was as personal as they got, but he was also beneficial. Phil knows that if SHIELD ever caught wind of Tony being his, there would be talk. Talk about “why don’t you convince your boyfriend to get us weapons?”
“Why don’t you bring Tony Stark over? Let us in on some secrets?”
He can’t do that to him.
And relationships...
Best not to think about it.
It takes longer than thought possible for Tony to get over Phil. In many respects, he might not be.
But he goes out the next week and makes headlines dancing with all sorts of people and socializing and proving that he can move on. He will move on. He’s already moved on.
He bitterly hopes that Phil can see it.
(Phillip Coulson is busy fighting bad guys in a grocery store, but as he dodges a can of peaches being thrown at his head, he sees an overturned magazine rack. And there Tony is, smiling at a girl and-)
Tony keeps tabs on him, sometimes. He doesn’t often pop up. Tony doesn’t really look into security, because he knows that if he finds out where Phil is, what Phil is doing, it’s all he’s going to think about. And he can’t keep him safe, he can’t keep him protected.
So he focuses on weapons and business and making sure that Pepper isn’t too pissed off, because it’s like Pompeii 2.0 if that happens.
-
Coulson is in the office when the break-room TV is turned on and the news is up, and agents are crowding around.
“Back to work, everyone,” he says, but he stops when he sees the headline.
Tony Stark Declared Missing after Weapons Demonstration Gone Awry
He can’t breathe. He feels everything slam down, and he can’t let anyone know it’s all coming down over his head, so he turns off the news.
“Get focused,” he says. “I know at least one of you is supposed to be talking to our agents stationed in Liberia about a potential 084. Get it done.”
He goes into his office and stares at a framed picture of a Ferris wheel.
Just below that, folded up, is Tony kissing his cheek while he laughs.
And it might be done.
He wishes it wasn’t done, he wishes that he had never broken up with him. He’s always wished that, every single time he comes into his apartment and Tony’s plans for decorating their apartment when they both came back to Boston (Phil never did) were the talk of the night for many a night.
He can’t request any special information. He can’t risk it, doesn’t want to risk it.
Maria still catches him, because she’s Maria. She knows everything.
“You got personal history with him,” she says over a mutual dinner. She invited him to her house. She didn’t seem like a house person, but then again she also has coasters with embroidered flower bouquets on them, so there’s that.
“I’m not going to tell you anything about it.”
“Wasn’t expecting you to. Just wanted to let you know that I know.”
“And how would you know?”
Maria smiles, biting into the pizza that she has ordered and Phil hasn’t touched, but still paid half for.
“Because I’m smart and observant, Coulson.”
“You can call me Phil, you know.”
“Nope, rather not. But if you’re not discussing it, then it must have been romantic. I’m surprised you guys dated. For long, if I’m right.”
“Under a year,” he says.
“And you’re still this affected?”
“I broke up with him,” Phil says. “You know why.”
“You’re the dumbest ever,” Maria says. “You were dating the son of one of the best-known men of all time, and you think that you were putting his life in danger?”
“When you put it like that, it makes me sound stupid.”
“You’re not,” Maria says. “You’re smart. But Tony Stark isn’t exactly a saint. He knows how to fight dirty.”
Tony Stark just flew out of a cave and his first thought is the fact that he really wants a nice burger, and the second thought is that he’s wondered if he’s just invented something revolutionary.
It’s about two weeks after everything and he’s still finding trouble with his standard mattress that he gets a visit.
Strategic-Homeland-Whatever.
They call themselves a private security firm. Tony knows better, has seen better liars.
But Agent Barton is insistent that security is all they do, and they want to make sure that Tony Stark isn’t a danger to himself.
(What he really means, most likely, is that SHIELD has caught on to the little fact that his flight suit exists.)
-
Phil met Obadiah Stane exactly once, and exactly once is the only meeting you really need with a man who is the physical embodiment of an oil spill.
Barton calls him, says that he needs to get there now, the mission is going wrong. Coulson’s his handler, and as much as he’d like to send Maria or Natasha or literally anybody else, he is worried.
He finds Dum-E waving frantically, with Tony hunched over a counter and breathing hard, a blue light emanating from his chest.
“Tony?”
He turns around wildly, freezing as he looks at Phil.
“I don’t have time to deal with you,” he pants out, breath ragged. “Move out of my way, and stay out of my way.”
Phil witnesses Tony in his element. He’s always flown above the rest, but never quite so literally.
Pepper clutches Tony’s hand and he holds her close, and oh.
Oh.
Phil knows he shouldn’t have expected anything. He knows that it’s been years and years since they were dating, since they were each other’s everything and a half.
But it still kind of hurts when you’re not a choice.
They turn to look at Coulson.
“I assume that Clint is yours?” Tony asks.
“One of them, yes.”
“He needs to get better about lying, he clearly ate my leftover sandwich.”
“I’ll...talk to him about that. Everyone okay here?”
“For now. Need to tie up some loose ends.”
“I can help with that.”
“I don’t need it,” Tony says, and Pepper follows his gaze carefully before speaking.
“We would love the help,” she says, and Phil can tell that she doesn’t know.
Somehow-and Phil’s not quite sure how-that burns. Tony didn’t tell her about them. It’s egotistical of him, sure, but he kind of wants to be known as a part in Tony’s life.
SHIELD gets involved. They clean up Stane like he was never there, and there’s a press release about him having a heart attack in his sleep that is clearly not the case, but there are enough pictures of him eating unhealthily that it can kind of make sense when people look at some shitty news source.
Phil makes flashcards.
Reminds him of studying days, when he used to quiz Tony on Captain America trivia.
He stumped him, once.
Tony doesn’t like that Phil’s back in his life. He doesn’t have to like it.
But really, it just...
They used to be together. And they didn’t end because it got bad, they ended because Phil had a job and he didn’t want to be a couple because that would somehow ruin things. And Tony got it, really. The board wasn’t exactly pleased that Tony wasn’t hush-hush about his activities.
“What’s gonna happen, they’re gonna sue me? Ask me to stop?” Tony had asked, laughing. “I don’t give a shit what people think. They rely on me too much to afford to have an opinion cloud their judgment.”
Phil isn’t like that.
They danced together. He still remembers Phil’s order for food.
(Lo Mein with veggies, but he would never eat all of the veggies that were in there. Plus egg rolls.)
-
“If you just read the flash cards, you should be fine,” Phil says. “Trust me.”
“You waited to tell me that until I moved on or something?” Tony asks sardonically.
Tony listened to Phil twice in his life and trusted him.
The first was six months in, when he said “I love you” while they were lounging on the worst couch that Tony had ever sat in, in an apartment with a leak during rainy days.
The second was when Phil told him to live his life to his full potential on a short phone call.
Fool me once, fool me twice, and never again.
“The truth is...I am Iron Man.”

Rules Are Meant to be Broken 1 of 2
Prompt: No. 6 “No touching, no kissing, nothing. I will do with you as I please.” Requested by: Anon Rating: M for theme and language Series: Gruvia Smut 1/2; 2/2
Note: This is part of a two-parter prompt request made by an Anon. Lol. Since Anon requested smut scenes and this is my first time to write Gruvia smut, I will post the more “detailed”, R18 part answering the ask. I will update this for the link to part 2. And since we are not getting any Gruvia content yet... I hope this will do. AND MAN! I am so obsessed with the Juvia strip dance, aren’t I?

Part 1: Juvia’s Dance Moves
“Does Gray-sama remember the rules?”
Juvia’s distracted voice travelled through the doorway into Gray’s bedroom. She was probably not done preparing. He could still hear rattle noises behind the wall that separated his small bedroom from the rest of his apartment. He heard her too, but Gray didn’t answer. He was busy feeling weird and awkward sitting on a lone chair in the middle of his bedroom. Apparently, Juvia was going to give him a little peek of what the girls have been up to. He heard from the vineyard that the Fairy Tail girls enrolled in some dancing school. What type of dance school? Gray had no clue. He asked Juvia about it but she said it was supposed to be a surprise.
Tonight, when she barged into his apartment, she was carrying paper bags on both arms. Juvia said she won’t be taking too much of his time. That what she was about to show him was some sort of culminating event to put those dance moves she learned to test. Gray wasn’t totally on board on the idea but since Juvia went out her way to prepare something for him, then he’ll sit through whatever she wanted him to sit through. So, despite his loud protests, Gray still agreed to sit back on that wooden chair and wait for the show to begin.
“Gray-sama, did you hear Juvia?”
A shock of blue hair popped out the door frame, hiding the rest of her body behind the wall.
“Yes, Juvia, I heard you.” His thick brows met in the middle. “Now, come out and be done with it already.”
Patience wasn’t really one of Gray’s virtues.
Juvia tentatively stepped out of hiding and revealed a fancy-looking, dark blue satin robe with feather trimmings on the ends of the sleeves and the hem. To Gray’s disappointment, the length of the dress hid those creamy-white legs he never really looked at. Swear! He never stared at those creamy, white thighs where Juvia’s guild mark was stamped permanently. That made him wonder what this dance was all about. And if he was being honest, that tie around the waist of that stupid long robe irritated him.
“No touching. No kissing. Nothing.”
Gray scowled at her reminder. He really wasn’t planning on doing any of those. Huh. In her dreams.
The feathers on the hem of Juvia’s robe hummed silently against his wooden floor and he can’t help but stare at the hypnotic swaying of Juvia’s hips. She didn’t walk like that before, did she? It felt like Juvia was deliberately calling his attention to that perfect curve between the back and those nice, round ass-tushie! Gray remembered Juvia calling it tushie. Whatever. It’s all covered anyway. By that long-ass robe. His thick brows furrowed and his usual scowl wrinkled his face.
“Can you even dance in that…”
Surprised wasn’t even the best word to describe Gray’s reaction when Juvia sat on the edge of his bed, crossed one leg over the other, and that fancy robe parting to reveal those thighs he swore never to have looked at.
“dress…”
Okay, maybe once. That’s why he knew, okay fine he saw, Juvia had her Fairy Tail guild mark printed there. Or twice, when he accidentally, and he wanted to reiterate that it was accidental, when he caught a glimpse of those legs… at the… ahmmm… guild? Fine! Thrice. When she tore her clothes while fighting. You know what? Who even was counting? And the most interesting question of all, why was Juvia now lying down on her side with one hand supporting her head?
“Juvia thinks it’s this way?” She adjusted her position, not quite sure she got the pose right. “or this one? Oh! Right.”
And the other hand resting so seductively on her hip? Why was she replicating her ‘eat me’ pose she did once at the restaurant? And damn his heart was beating crazy.
It’s just legs you ice-brain. Everyone’s got one!
Gray’s self-reprimand did help a little with that throbbing he wasn’t sure if was coming from his chest or somewhere else he’d rather not think about. Probably, both.
Yes, both. He finally realized when Juvia’s serious stare – bordering sultry – landed on him.
“Ah!” Juvia squealed. “Juvia can’t do it.” She rained fists on Gray’s poor mattress out of her frustration. “Gray-sama is making Juvia nervous.”
Well, you’re not alone, he thought.
“Juvia,” he called out. “Don’t you think if you really want to do this, at least do it properly?”
Juvia stared at him for a few breaths then apologized.
“Gray-sama is right.” She conceded and returned to her original, provocative position.
Gray smiled when grit and determination returned in her blue eyes. Well, of course, he was right. Juvia should at least stick to her character while he was being the nice, obedient boyfriend – no! – boy who is a friend, sitting on the chair like she asked him to. Everybody gotta do their part. And it’s not because he wanted to watch Juvia do some really interesting, some sort of sexy dance. It was just, people should make good on their promises. So, that’s why… Juvia should be responsible in finishing what she said she was going to do. Gray was just helping her out.
“Can Gray-sama please play the music?”
“What?”
“It’s on the table on Gray-sama’s left.”
“Oh.”
Oh, great. Now, she was asking him to move from this really uncomfortable position. The table wasn’t too far but it’d require Gray to get up, which was really hard to do now and would be very embarrassing if Juvia saw. But he had no choice.
Suck it up, boy who is a friend.
But he wasn’t going to stand up and embarrass himself. So, the smart ice-make mage moved his chair a little to the side and stretched his arm to reach the rectangular lacrima that produced sounds. He missed at first and earned a weird look from Juvia. He shrugged her off and continued reaching out to start that stupid sound lacrima.
“Gray-sama could just–”
“–I got it, okay!”
He rested an arm across his pelvis, making sure Juvia wasn’t suspecting anything. Then, stood up from his seat, walked over the stupid table and hit a fist on the sound lacrima with a loud thud, surprising the water-mage.
“There!”
Then, the first beat of Juvia’s music poured through. Gray returned to his chair throwing an irritated look towards the water-mage lying down on his bed. As the instrumental played on, Gray became skeptical. The music wasn’t sexy at all! So, maybe, this was some kind of a weird dance routine. Gray sighed in relief. He was safe. If Juvia was going to dance with that awfully, non-sexy song then no problem. Geez. What was he so worried about?
Well… this: Juvia lifting one leg slowly while she maintained her position then putting it back down. Were the girls tricked into learning aerobics? The move was oddly following the beat perfectly. Oh. My. Gods. Gray’s heart skipped a beat when he saw a black high heel strapped on her foot.
It was only the beginning of the most uncomfortable night of Gray’s life.
Sweet dreams are made of this. Who am I to disagree? I traveled the world and the seven seas Everybody's looking for something
Juvia rolled her head in a circular motion. Slowly. Seductively. Forearms rested on the mattress as Juvia lied on her stomach. Now both legs on the air, the water-mage moved them in opposite directions: one inward and the other outward then vice versa. For some wicked maneuver, Juvia was able to lift her body off the mattress and got on her knees, kneeling on top of Gray’s bed.
Damn. That was definitely hot. No! He was just there to watch, as a support to whatever Juvia was doing… to him.
Gray could feel the strange feeling brewing just below his belly. It was new. It was strange. But he heard about it before from the old perverts at the guild, Macao and Wakaba, and the adults like Laxus and Bickslow. They said it was going to be an angry storm that just crashes everything in its way.
Once, when Laxus and Bickslow heard some baseless rumor about him and Juvia dating, they pulled him to a corner and offered to teach him on how the female body works, mostly Bickslow though. Laxus just rubbed it in his face that he was still a cherry boy, whatever that meant. He didn’t understand what the two were yapping about until his innocent, clueless brain caught up on the topic of breasts, thighs and that sweet spot in between. Not so innocent, after all. He remembered how the two disgusting perverts laughed at him when he refused their help and denied the relationship rumor. For some reason, he earned the nickname of cherry boy and it stuck.
But he should stop thinking about those stupid conversations with his pervert comrades and just focus on Juvia who was now tracing her fingers over the side of her neck to the V of her robe down to the belt tying her dress together. Her eyes were closed, lips parted, chest heaving up and down. No, her body was moving up and down.
Damn, that was definitely hot.
Gray shifted in his sit again. But like he said, he was just there to support Juvia in whatever way he was able. So, if right now, watching and enjoying Juvia touch herself was the kind of support she needed, then that he will become. Juvia caught his eyes, held his stare, watching him watching her, as her fingers now rubbed on the edge of her belt. Juvia bit down a giggle when Gray’s jaw dropped at the sight of her fingers pulling the ends of the tie slowly, ever so slowly, until the front of her robe fell open.
Gray was sure his jaw was on the floor now as the satin fabric fell over her shoulders, brushing pass her arms and then landing on the mattress beneath her.
Oh, shit.
By male instinct, his body lurched forward, wanting to see closer. Well, Gray have seen Juvia naked. Oh, that was Juvina. Well, it was the same thing right? Of course, not. Juvia was different. But he maintained that he has seen Juvia half naked. She acquired his stripping habits. He wasn’t proud of that. And in the many months that they lived together, he accidentally, again with emphasis on ‘accidentally’, caught a glimpse or two of Juvia out of her clothes. They were living together, of course, it was bound to happen.
Those cases were different because as Gray said they were ahmm… what did people call it? Happy accidents?
This half-naked Juvia in front of him had a different appeal because she was half-naked on his bed, on purpose. And now her hands were wandering around her body, touching places Gray would rather do for her. Gray was so jealous.
Wait, what? No. No, he wasn’t jealous. Why would he be?
Some of them want to use you. Some of them want to get used by you. Some of them want to abuse you. Some of them want to be abused.
Then, Juvia climbed down the bed. His heart leaped to his throat, making it really hard to swallow. She strutted towards him, slowly, painfully slowly as Gray feasted on the sight before him. Gray sat at the edge of the chair and leaned his back to give extra room for that pain between his legs. Because Juvia in a thin, lace lingerie, which seemed to have failed their purpose of covering the skin, was giving him a hard time. No pun intended.
“J-juvia.” He stuttered but his voice couldn’t be heard over the music. Good. Because truthfully, Gray didn’t know how to follow that lame ‘J-juvia’ stutter. What was he gonna say? Stop? Because that’s definitely the opposite of what he wanted-er… what being a good supportive boy-who-is-a-friend was.
His distracted eyes returned to Juvia who was touching her body as she looked him up and down, gaze turning to something Gray couldn’t believe he’d ever see – so sensual. And she wasn’t even trying.
Gray involuntarily jerked back, almost stumbling back his seat when Juvia suddenly approached him, standing so dangerously close. But she didn’t do nor say anything. Instead, she walked around him, trailing a seductive finger around his shoulders.
Damn it!
“Ahmmm… J-juvia. I thought you said… n-n-no touching?”
Not that he was complaining or anything but if she kept doing that then Gray would really embarrass himself. Gray yelped when the woman suddenly leaned over him, shoving his shoulder, hitting his back against the hard chair. Gray’s surprised midnight eyes stared up at her, his gaze slid down the valley between her generous, generous breasts, then back up to her hot blue eyes.
“Juvia can touch but Gray-sama couldn’t.”
“That’s a little unfair, isn’t it?”
A sexy smile touched her lips.
“Juvia doesn’t make the rules.” She said and turned away from him.
And that’s when his eyes drifted to the sexy line of her back down to those nice, round bosso-tushie and his mouth ran dry. Drier than Ajeel’s sand.
“J-juvia,” he visibly swallowed, “can I get a break?”
Because he badly needed water – ice bucket full of freaking water.
---
Thank goodness Juvia allowed him a quick break because well, he was honestly thirsty, and he needed some time to breathe and to calm himself down. How he was so worked up about Juvia in that lingerie was baffling. He’d seen women in skimpy outfits before, care of Lucy and Erza and he looked too. Not that he was going to deny that. But Juvia in such a revealing lingerie – it didn’t even bother to cover anything – and deliberately seducing him?
Gray swallowed the glass full of water and poured himself some more. His body never even felt this hot before as if Natsu’s fire just kept following him around. There was that time too, in the public bath, where Juvia just came out of nowhere and was in the bath with him. Totally. Naked. She tried to kiss him then but he froze her in his ice before she started some commotion.
Juvia was such a trouble.
“Gray-samaaaa~” she sang from his room.
Gray grunted. He hasn’t even fully recovered from that public bath memory. Now, he was already calling him back into his room.
“Alright, alright!” He shouted back.
Then, the ice-make mage downed another glass of ice-cold water before he scurried to his room. When he entered his room, Juvia still sat on the edge of his bed, just waiting. She looked up at him, her gaze following Gray as the ice-make mage returned to his designated chair. Not at all any more comfortable.
“Shoot.”
Gray spat out a punchline and threw in a laugh too. But Juvia wasn’t laughing. And it became rather awkward.
Gray cleared his throat.
“G-g-go on...”
Juvia didn’t say another word after she asked the ice-make mage to turn the sound lacrima back on. Which he quickly obeyed so that Juvia could pick up where she left off.
Gray just hoped someone warned him about the next part of the show.
Sweet dreams are made of this. Who am I to disagree? I travel the world and the seven seas. Everybody's looking for something
Juvia swayed her body to the tune. It was just the start. Gray wasn’t known to be a fidgety fellow but he lost count how many times he shifted in that wooden chair. Especially, when Juvia pressed an innocent finger on the bottom of her lip and pushed it in. Juvia twisted her head to catch his eyes and when she made sure he was looking, the water-mage pulled the finger out of her mouth and traced a sinful path down the valley.
Gray could hear his heart pounding in his ears and his breath started running ragged. He didn’t remember his room being this hot. If he wasn’t feeling so stuck in that chair and his eyes so glued on the girl before him, then Gray would have opened a window or two. But, well, he was stuck. Stuck as a sticky rice.
Because now Juvia continued the sinful trail down a very dangerous path and Gray couldn’t take his eyes off of that. Especially, that sinful finger is reaching down the edge of her…
Oh, shit.
That not-so-innocent finger stopped at the band of her lace panties. And it felt like he was about to swallow a rock.
And when the water-mage, his water-mage, swiftly lost her brassiere, Gray swallowed a freaking boulder.
Juvia threw the lace bra to him. The thin material fell limply on his lap. He then prepared himself to finally see the generous breasts that freaking lace ineptly covered. He looked up from the lace bra and his heart somersaulted when his expectant eyes landed on the water-mage who had her arm shielding the girls. Somehow, it was so much appealing and oddly, more exciting. Thrilling. Would she or wouldn’t she. Oh, the mystery was killing him.
And he liked it.
Gray backed up on his seat when Juvia started to move towards him. Strutting. Steps measured. Hips provocatively swaying. Gray forgot to breathe for a moment. His head fell back to meet her eyes. Slowly, Juvia lowered herself and finally expelled the breath he was holding when the bold water-mage straddled his lap.
Gray parted his lips to breathe some air as Juvia held his gaze captive, fanning his hot cheeks with her warm breath. The skin on her arm grazed his bare chest, hardening the muscles on it. For some reason, he just lost his top somewhere in the house. But who cared about that stupid shirt when the skimpy crotch of her panties were almost, almost brushing against the zipper of his pants.
Uncomfortable quickly graduated to painful.
He let out a laugh that meant to be awkward but turned deep and husky.
“J-j-juvia.” He breathed her name, planting his hands on her thighs, touching soft and warm skin under his palm. He wanted to ask for a break again.
Her blue eyes widened at the heat and Juvia repressed a surprised gasp. She swatted Gray’s hand away with her free one.
“No touching.” She firmly reminded. “It’s against the rules.”
Gray let his arms fall on his side. He wasn’t really sure what Juvia was going to do and the suspense was killing him – if he wasn’t dead yet from Juvia’s close proximity. So, he decided that the best course of action was to stare right to her eyes, those deep blue pools that were pulling him into their endlessness by the second. Even if his whole body became highly aware of her flesh against his. He wondered how she managed to get this close to him and not melt, literally. Usually, she would. This time, she held it together. And this time, she had that solid determination in her eyes that was honestly turning him on. Oops! He wasn’t supposed to feel that way. Gray tried to push what his body was telling him back and concentrate on something that wasn’t forcing his body to react. But that was simply impossible.
All thanks to that conflict he saw in her eyes, however, that Gray had a distraction, welcomed at that. She looked like she was pondering it over, what to do next. Something started to cloud her eyes.
“G-g-gray-s-sama…”
She started stuttering.
“It seems like Juvia mixed up the steps.”
She pulled away from his eyes, gazed drifting in between them as she looked left to right. Gray wasn’t quite sure what she was looking for.
“If you could just let Juvia look for… look for her… ahmmm. Where was it?”
Well, if Juvia could get past her ‘melting thing’ then Gray could definitely get over his shyness.
“Juvia’s top… Juvia threw it towards Gray-sam-mnnn…”
Gray pressed Juvia against him as he locked his lips with hers, opening his mouth over Juvia’s. Juvia could hardly wrap her head around what was happening. She was now his captive not hers, kissing her with so much abandon, so much hunger and so much need that everything around her became fuzzy. Juvia lost the ability to think, to move. Her body instinctively morphed with Gray’s, both moaning at the contact when Juvia dropped her hand that was shielding her breasts. Gray’s kiss turned more aggressive.
Realizing they both needed air to breathe, Gray pulled away from the kiss, pressing his forehead against Juvia’s, both forcing air into and outside their lungs.
“G-g-gray-sama… shouldn’t…” Juvia tried to force the words out between pants. “it’s… it’s… against the… rules”
But that mischievous grin played on Gray’s lips. He just couldn’t help it.
“Since when did I…” He tentatively brushed his lips against Juvia’s, playing on that fire that their much aggressive and possessive kiss created earlier. “ever followed the rules?”
