back to the marriage thing. yall really do act like you’re already married. you’ve even started helping him sort out his papers in his office instead of being in the floor. (this definitely started because you wanted more of him and he was busy so you were like fuck it i guess im in) you’re his proof reader for his contracts. he has yet to make a mistake. and if he’s in back of house you run the front, even if jade and floyd are there! he’ll never tell you this but it’s somehow a super long winded plan he created through a careful game of 5d chess to get you to own a business together that’s completely unnecessary because you would’ve said yes to co-owning a restaurant.

My unpopular opinion about this character Might be punching a strawman here but the Gerry and Michael thing wasn't her going like...'ha ha ha now I will do evil sacrifices because I am evil'. Especially with Gerry she genuinely cared about him (as much as she could care about anyone) and I feel like I read the bookening as like a misguided attempt at a gift almost? Like for someone who's visited death on so many avatars to try and make someone immortal. Bit of a stretch and I'm not genuinely defending everything she did but she's more complicated than evil for the sake of evil!! One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

More about Emma Harvey and her in general. Also some kind of timeline-bending to deposit Gertrude in the eyepocalypse, I want to see her grapple with how none of her sacrifices actually saved the world. Hi, hi! I'm sure you are totally unaware of me going through your blog just now XD

But! I saw a bit of Humpback Y/N and I can't stop thinking about the small drabble you wrote way back! (Can't find it unfortunately, or don't know the specific tag to look for it hkfdg) But it was the one about how their relationship would advance and by the end of it y/n gets stuck on top of some thick ice. And it's so incredibly dangerous for someone the size of y/n for that to happen to of course! And I remember they were trapped up there for a good while, which weakened them considerably, even if they don't quite get to the actual size of a humpback whale. And I seem to recall that when Eclipse finds them they hear him teasing them for their situation (or perceive it that way at least), but they have no energy so they don't answer him at all.

And aaa I just can't stop thinking about that specific moment, because from Eclipse's perspective that must have rang every single alarm bell. This mer, who has been antagonizing him since they met, able to keep up with him in both snark and their little competition, who has grown on him so much and become a constant, physically capable of manhandling him and pettily blocking him from getting to his prey easily, who is large and majestic and physically imposing, and has always given him a challenge, they are now still and worryingly quite, still moving but having none of their usual spark, their energy, and suddenly he might realize that they've been there much longer that he perhaps thought, that time is ticking and they are weakening by the second. And then he breaks the ice and catches them, just as they are passing out!

And aaa I can't help but be curious of what happens next! Because god, if they're passed out he'd have to make sure they can remain breathing, but also try and check them to make sure they haven't been too damaged by having to support their own weight for so long, that they will be able to swim on their own when they wake. And if they need healing before they can move well again, likely he'd have to help them get food, at least until they can get back to their pod.

Would he try to stubbornly take care of them himself? Or when they seem well enough take them to their pod who can more easily take care of them the rest of the way, which might be for the best since they are so big? Aaaaa lots of questions! But I live for that hurt comfort haha XD

Ah, yes! It flips in Eclipse's head from playfully 'maybe they might need help' to 'oh no' the second they don't respond as they should, as they have during their time battling back and forth! He's immediately on it. When they do sink into his arms through the broken ice, he pulls them quickly to the open ocean and cradles their head on his chest, floating to let them breathe and rest. Y/N is okay, but they are exhausted and need a moment or two to regain their strength before swimming on their own again.

Eclipse doesn't want anyone to take Y/N from him when he needs to make sure they're okay, so he cares for them by himself, without alerting their pod. It would be wiser to let sirens their size attempt to keep them afloat while they rest but Eclipse is nothing if not determined (and a little frightened by finding his lovely, strong siren in such a weakened state).

the halls of mckinley were filled with students roaming around, conversing with one another while someone was just trying to put their books back into their locker. y/n swore as the books inside their locker fell out and plopped onto the floor, “how the hell does this even happen, i put them sideways for god’s sake.” they whispered to themselves, bending down to grab them before rearranging their positions. as they were putting their books back in, finn hudson had approached them.

“hey, y/n.” they looked up, “oh, hey finn. what’s up?” y/n asked as they closed their locker, “so many things are up. so many damn things.” he exasperatedly said, leaning his back on the wall. 

finn and y/n had been friends ever since pre-school, they used to be best friends but some things change. they both reconnected when they joined the glee club around the same time. “what is it now? rachel? quinn? puck?” “kurt.” y/n whistled lowly, “that’s a new one.” they started to walk down the hallway to head to the glee club. “what about him?” “well, my mom made us move in with him and his dad, and now- now, i’ve got to share a room with him! like the dude’s fine and all, sure, but i need my privacy and he kinda makes me feel, i don’t know, uncomfortable?” finn rambled, stuffing his hands into his pockets as his flannel brushed to the side.

mr. schuester looked at rachel, “what?” “they’re doing gaga.” kurt explained while mercedes and rachel expressed how screwed they were. “we should have guessed it. they’re going full out theatricality. they know it’s the easiest way to beat us. damn them!” y/n took a deep breath in, they were definitely screwed.

“what’s up with this gaga dude? he just dresses weird, right? like bowie?” puck’s question made rachel scoff, “lady gaga is a woman! she’s only the biggest pop act to come along in decades! she’s boundary-pushing! the most theatrical performer of our generation, and she changes her looks faster than britt changes sexual partners.” “that’s true.” she agreed as kurt went on a rant about how amazing lady gaga is.

“it makes sense that vocal adrenaline would pay homage. it’s a brilliant move. she’s a perfect fit for them.” artie muttered, “now, hold on a second.” schue spoke up, “we might be able to kill two birds with one stone here. we can help tina find a new look and find a competitive number for regionals.” tina smiled as y/n held her hand encouragingly.

“this week, your assignment: gaga.” a round of whispers filled the room as the girls and kurt began to plot, rachel announced the ideas were coming to her, needing a pen and paper before mr. schuester pointed at his office. the boys, however, didn’t look too happy about it. y/n was pretty neutral on the topic. 

after the glee meeting, both finn and y/n walked side-by-side in the hallway as they headed to class. they turned to finn, “you look excited about gaga.” they commented sarcastically but finn didn’t catch that. “what? i’m not-” “i know. i was being sarcastic, you big doof.” y/n smiled, “come on, it isn’t so bad. lady gaga’s got some catchy hits, like just dance.” finn tilted his head, “of course, you don’t know that song. why did i even mention it?” they muttered to themselves, looking around the hallway with a bored expression.

finn let out an annoyed grunt, “why are we always doing the things the girls wanna do?” he wondered out loud, y/n pressed their lips into a firm line. “well, if that’s how you feel, then why don’t you express it to mr. schue? i’m sure he’ll understand your point of view. sometimes.” the tall boy nodded, slowly smiling. “maybe i will.” he simply said before turning back around to head to mr. schuester’s office. “aaand there he goes.” y/n quietly commented, continuing their journey to history class.

gaga week had gone extremely well, other than karofsky and azimio picking on tina and kurt, and rachel finding out that vocal adrenaline’s coach was her mom. finn had also convinced mr. schue to allow the boys to do a song by the band kiss instead of lady gaga.

y/n was getting text spams and long rants every five minutes from finn about how much of a hassle it was to live with kurt, it was honestly starting to get on their nerves. they didn’t care about it much until they got a text from the quarterback saying he had called kurt a slur when he was blinded by rage. 

finn drove to their house and was immediately met with an upset face. “i cannot believe you called him that!” they yelled as finn fell onto their bed with his hands on his face, “i know, dude. i feel really bad about it, too.” he groaned in frustration, mad at himself for being such a jerk.

“i wanna make it up to him, but i just don’t know how.” finn muttered, staring up at their bedroom’s ceiling. y/n fiddled with their oversized t-shirt before their eyes lingered on a specific costume that was hung on their closet door; their gaga costume. y/n smirked, “i have an idea.” they slyly turned towards their best friend who raised his head up with a questionable look on his face.

with that, they spent the entire night fashioning up a theatricality costume for the boy as a way to show his support for kurt and that he was different from the other guys on the football team who would judge and scrutinise everything the glee club did.

the next day, since it was the end of the week, everyone had decided to go to school in their costumes. y/n didn’t mind but it was a bit uncomfortable to get to and from class in white latex tights.

“woah! guys, why are you all in your theatricality costumes?” mr. schue asked as he walked into the choir room, “it’s the end of the week. we were kind of hoping to learn what the lesson of the assignment was.” artie told him, “well, um, you guys have had some great numbers this week but i’m not sure that i know either.” he confessed and the rest of the club chuckled with him before a voice spoke up.

“i do.” tina walked into the room in her usual goth attire, “goth tina! you’re back!” y/n exclaimed, beaming at her. the girl smiled at their enthusiasm, “i refuse to dress like somebody i’m not to be somebody i’m not, and i learned it’s good to be a little theatrical.” she said before taking a bow as everyone applauded. “there she is! she’s back!” mr. schue encouragingly announced, patting her on the back.

artie looked around amidst all the cheering, realising that two people were missing. “wait, where’s kurt? and where’s finn?” his question made everyone look around, before the revelation hit y/n. “guys, we need to go find them. now.” the entire club ventured out together through the hallways to find the two guys, which they did.

“oh my god.” “what is finn wearing?” santana stated and quinn asked, in shock. “he wanted to make up for something he did to kurt so i helped him with his gaga costume.” y/n explained, “problem was that we could only use this old shower curtain i found in my attic.” they added, snickering at the sight of their friend wearing a red, rubber-looking dress. they walked towards them as they noticed karofsky and azimio were once again bullying them. “‘cause i’m pretty sure we can take the both of you.” “yeah, but can you take all of us?” puck quipped as they backed finn up.

“okay. okay, i get it. i took biology. you know what, karofsky? we done disturbed the freak hive! the worker freaks is trying to protect the queen freak.” azimio mocked, “next time, we’ll bring some friends, too.” karofsky threatened before the two jocks walked away from the group.

rachel took off her shades, “i’m tired of everyone calling us freaks.” she complained, “well, look at us. we are freaks.” mercedes joked as everyone laughed along. finn smiled at this, “but we’re all freaks together, and we shouldn’t have to hide it.” he told them before sudden clapping attracted their attention.

GOD THE SICK EMMA AND OSCAR INTERACTION AAAAA I HAVE SO MUCH TO SAY This is so funny considering my previous ask was about unreliable narrator Lando and now we have him admitting that he might be a little soft on Emma pffft. But, regardless, maybe it's my own familial issues showing, but I just think it's so, so so so sweet to see. That he cares, so deeply, about her, and she means everything to him <333 There's something so soft about the whole interaction. Oscar is so soothing about everything, and Emma was already drooping but with Osc there it comes so much easier, it's literally the most wholesome thing ever to imagine. The mental image of Lando and Emma in bed with Oscar's voice in their ears lulling them into comfort. Ough this is why I adore this fic (1/3) -⭐

sometimes i'm writing a random detail into a fic and i don't really know what it means or what i want it to mean but it feels like it COULD be symbolic if someone wanted it to be. and that's what happened here LMAO. i've always said specificity is what makes fics feel good and immersive (random little details that make the reader feel like they're truly observing a scene rather than being written to) and so there are so many little things that don't need to mean anything, but. as long as i was picking a word for the picture, i was like... might as well pick something that might mean something.

both aren't a bad thing, it isn't a bad thing that Lando can't hide the ugly feeling, but it's also so lovely that Oscar is being gentle with him, like he always is

okay so this was half me writing lando being hard on himself for character purposes and half me doing that thing where i write things not knowing it isn't the way everybody thinks. but i do think it's a good moment because it's like... there doesn't need to be morality in it. lando wants oscar's attention and decides in the moment that that feels selfish (even though it wouldn't necessarily be) and oscar lets lando decide what's right for them + emma in that moment bc it's lando's thing. idk. like it's just... a thought he has and has to work with. part of his character development. also i like to pair this moment with the one in chapter 15 before lando's birthday dinner when oscar calls and emma wants to talk to him and lando tells her 'no'. little details that i do not care if people notice or read into but were somewhat intentional.

i called this chapter "bella watching the seasons change in new moon core" to a mutual at some point while writing it LMAO. i just really wanted it to feel like... damn. oscar's just gone for a month and their lives keep on moving anyway. i'm so so glad you liked how the time passed, because yeah, i wanted to convey the actual scope of it without writing every little detail bc like... it's a month.

top five scene in the fic to me. i read it over sooooo many times while i was slogging through the final chapters because it was so soft that it reminded me why i was writing the fic in the first place. like lando IS soft on emma, and that's okay!! she's his baby!! and sometimes she needs him! i don't even have a ton to say about it other than the exact things you said, like oscar as a comforting presence for them, lulling sweet sicky bby to sleep and chatting with lando after until he's sleepy too. very important to me. i loooooove this scene.

There is a gentleness that exists only in the walls of the house he's hidden from the world, in the way he indulges in their requests to watch shows and go out on hikes with an exaggerated groan. There's something startlingly human in him when he ruffles their hair and shoves them into a pond with a grin and when he lets them win when the fight over the last slice of pizza. the nightmares are bad for both of them, but he sits by the foot of the bed like a guard dog just like he did when they were kids and it's the most secure either of them have felt in a long time. he teaches them how to shoot. There is a softness that only exists here and AAAAA Sorry for the rambling I have so many thoughts and I'm being very silly eheheh

AAAAA i’m SO glad i managed to catch onto what you were doing!!! nothing gets to me as much as just seeing how much love an author puts into their stories. truly, i could feel how much love was put into this fic 🥹

i’m also super happy that i was right about my thoughts on the table, too! i didn’t wanna voice it since i thought i’d rambled on too much already HAHAHA! but on that! i like how the table was done slightly different��� blade asks reader for help (as kindly as he can, even if he voices it more like a demand than a question). the cabinet door really was the start of his healing process 🥹! he fixed that himself with reader simply observing him.

but when he finally voices the need for assistance, it was like, okay, i do need help. and yours isn’t so bad, after all.

you can really see the way trust starts to build between them both. it’s so so heartwarming 😭

you can only do so much for someone, but it’s ultimately up to them to decide what to do with the care and help you extend to them. like i keep saying— you captured that fact so so beautifully!

i also can’t help but think how it’s so fitting for him lore wise; how he used to be a weaponsmith/craftsman :’))) so it makes a lot of sense for him to have a history with craftsmanship !

and on the topic of fitting! you translated the mara really well! i think the self-destructiveness of drugs and alcohol is as realistic as you can get in a modern-au. especially because once you really get in the shitter, it’s hard to get out of it. addiction is a serious problem.

you conveyed blade’s softness so so well, it really made me go, yes, this is why i love blade so much 🥹! you truly get it!! get him!! he’s for sure very rough around the edges, but he can truly be so sweet 😭!! even if he’s much more subtle about it.

and ahhh the kiss. the most precious little kiss 😭! i found it super appropriate too! it’s definitely more genuine than anything a kiss on the lips would have conveyed given their context. it’s such an innocent action, to be kissed on the forehead. it felt borderline apologetic. yes, it was a thank you, but it also felt like he was saying sorry 🥹! he truly can be so soft and considerate when he wants to be!! and reader finally getting to experience that side of him was so heartwarming

he’s still very much guarded. you don’t just get over someone like that, that’s a given. you don’t just get over alcoholism and drug addiction overnight.

but it’s a start, and that’s enough. he’ll get better. he just needed that little nudge in the right direction. a little reassurance of someone being there.

the final few parts of that chapter felt so rewarding reading it. AAAAAAAAAAA!!1!11!1!!1 IM SOBBING. this might just take the cake for my favourite modern fic i’m not even shitting you rn 😭

Idk how to explain it there was something so nice about writing Blade taking initiative like this after being so meh to the Reader. Especially just how much he took the initiative. He didn't take one look at it and gave up because there's no fixing that furniture, no, he took all these steps of going to the basement, collecting things he needed, eventually asking(or demanding lol) Reader for help, and he did it all one step at a time.

Idk it felt so much more rewarding writing this scene like this than having him go "here's everything I need, done, bye" 🙈

Yes, yes! Given his canon past I knew I wanted him to be crafty in this fic and since I knew I wanted to go with the cleaning idea from the beginning, the idea to use furniture to represent hist craftsmanship + mental state was almost an instant given then 🤭

I'm glad you think the substance abuse as a substitute for Mara in this AU was believable 🥹

Blade is in canon often misunderstood. When that car scene with him and Firefly got released, a lot of people were surprised how nice Blade was in it. Even though he's always been like that, it's just that he mostly showed up on screen when the Mara struck and he wasn't himself T_T

I really tried my best to build trust between Blade and the Reader slowly. I also knew from the beginning that I didn't want this to end with a super happy ending but more with a promise. That they took a step in the right direction, Blade did his first step, Reader is there to support him(and he knows that now), and with a lot of time there will be a happy ending eventually 🥹

I had so much fun with this fic 🥹 I must also say that it's rare that I had this much motivation and drive to sit down and write a fic. I wrote and edited those 14k words so fast 😂🙈

This is also my favorite character in omori btw I love him he's so silly and goofy and I love him!!

I hope that Yuuji never truly becomes as strong as/stronger than Sukuna. Something that I think is unique about their relationship is the fact that, unlike literally everyone else who tries to reach Sukuna/teach him about love through combat/strength, Yuuji is Sukuna's equal and the only one who can stand beside him despite being weaker precisely because of who he is and his ideals/selflessness

My ideal JJK ending would be Sukuna and Yuuji dying together side by side <3 As per Yuuji's wishes to die surrounded by people who love him, Sukuna (who was taught love by Yuuji) would be one of those people. And meanwhile, Sukuna could die with the only person he needed to fulfill him and who could ease his loneliness uwu

ok so i completely agree with your takes! one of the things i love the most about sukuita is that they can constantly learn from each other. they aren’t trying to teach the other, yet when they keep clashing when persisting with their opposite ideals they make each other stop and consider things. it’s spontaneous and it’s why they need to stay true to themselves to keep being a duo that works and completes one another. sukuna doesn’t need someone that tries to force a concept onto him, he observes what’s around him and comes to the conclusion by himself, which is why i love how yuuji went from boring to interesting to him without losing the heart driven resilience sukuna tried really hard to crush but precisely thanks to it. it’s SO good aaaaa their weaknesses are just as important as their strength!!!

not going to lie, sukuna and yuuji dying together is a favorite of mine too. i’ve read too many scenarios where they find each other in sukuna’s domain during their last moments and realize they have love for each other. it has to be either that (sukuna being lonely his whole life and tragically finding love and company only in death, yuuji being a mc destined to die and dying helping others by taking sukuna away with him + surrounded by the best and worst thing that has ever happened to him) or sukuna dying after finding some sort of peace/resolve and yuuji realizing he’s sad he’s gone which would be the last thing you’d expect at the beginning of the story.

as for my unpopular opinions, hmmm i guess that i lean more towards the itasuku dynamic so it’s not really my cup of tea when yuuji is depicted as too fragile and never angry. sure he’s a bit naive i’ll give you that, but he’s also stubborn and perceptive which means he can read sukuna well too, not only the other way around anddd he can and will look for a fight lol. also i have a soft spot for when sukuna was inside yuuji and i hope we’ll never move on from that,,, it’s such a fascinating concept to me. i love u trueform kuna i swear buuut i wouldn’t mind if they end up reuniting and it becomes a eddie/venom kind of situation. which circles back to sukuna and yuuji completing each other, yuuji making sukuna reevaluate his ideals and King sukuna lowering himself to being ‘trapped’ if it means he’ll get to have that sort of closeness again because anything less than their souls sharing the same space won’t ever be enough.

apart from his keen attune for all things nature, kazuha is also someone that is able to understand the people around him by listening to the sounds within them. from the first moment he met amélie, it was like he heard a melody that his soul has long since recognized. it was soft, yet brimming with an underlying tension; she was someone who loved solitude and had long since grown used to her own company. yet despite that, deep down, there was a part of her that craved to be seen, to have someone who could understand her as much as she did.

she wants to be loved, but also doesn’t know how to let herself be vulnerable, especially around others and kazuha was able to grasp that right away. but he didn’t make it evident right away, rather, he would progress slowly as though he were trying to help an injured kitten whilst not startling it. regular check ins, sneaking in subtle questions mid conversation in order to learn more about her, and just letting her speak freely. by the time amélie did catch on, she had already gone too deep with him and there was no turning back ..

ᰔ mohair: what makes loving them feel effortless?

more like how can anyone struggle with loving kazuha?? HELP jokes aside though, zuha is just someone who i feel loves softly and unconditionally🥺 he doesn’t expect anything in return or needs to be reassured that his feelings are misplaced. although that is not to say he doesn’t enjoy being told he’s loved by amélie, of course he does. more than anything, he loves hearing her tell him how much she loved and appreciates him because it means he’s doing something right.

but it’s the fact that he doesn’t constantly push for it that makes loving him effortless for amélie. i’ve rambled abt this briefly in a separate post but for the longest time in the early part of their rs ( pre-official like around the time they’re getting to become closer ) kazuha wouldn’t say ‘i love you’ he’d say ‘i adore you.’ the reason for this was not only because he knew amélie struggled with voicing affection but he wanted that first moment in which those words were said to belong to her. because once she’d say it, that would mean she has officially become comfortable around him and feels confident enough to say it and and snsjwkksks im sorry i rambled but in a nutshell; kazu is just so considerate of her😭

ᰔ satin: what impact have they left on you that never fades?

ouuhhhh this is a tough one because ugghh kazulie is just the epitome of a slow/healing kind of love i hate them BUT i would have to say for amélie it’s helping her realize that it’s okay to want things or depend on others. as i mentioned already, amélie was someone who had grown used to being on her own and therefore, took care of herself. so zuha really helped her break out if that mindset of ‘i have to do everything myself or else im a failure’

for kazuha, it would be how she helps him learn new things everyday or see them in a different perspective. from his character in game and from all the events/sq of him, zuha is someone who i think has pretty much healed and grown as a person ( not saying he doesnt have flaws ) so for him it’s a matter of being able to expand his knowledge on things he either didn’t know/initially have an interest in or shed light on something he may have already known but hadn’t seen from a different lens

literally “i love you” LMAO especially after amélie would say it for the first time, their relationship would just transcend a regular love ( at least it’s what zuha says lol ) um… you know.. hugs that last longer than usual, gazing at each other from across the room, how her pinky subconsciously finds his first before their hands eventually intertwine, or how he just peppers soft kisses all over her face and whispers loving words after every single one💔honestly when you see them just start acting like lovesick fools that’s when you know-

I’m so happy everyone has been loving the waystone thoughts. It’s something mentioned in most fics where they teleport, but I’ve never felt like elaborating becuase at those points, the characters already knew how it worked. So this moment of introspection from someone as analytical as Étoiles has been real fun.

So.

The inspiration came from the fact that if given the choice of what superpower I would choose, I would go with teleportation. Always been that way. I would always think about how it would work too becuase I was obsessed with MHA for a few years and they’re take on powers and quirks was just too much fun. So I thought about how teleporting would work, if it was sight based or maybe you had to have physically been somewhere to teleport there, etc. i liked the idea of needing to be familiar with a place before you could teleport there, or having some connection to it. Intent, knowing.

When I saw the waystones in the qsmp, and actually used them myself in minecraft, I just started automatically pushing those general teleportation thoughts onto the mechanic. They naturally generate in the world, these old pillars with ancient scribble on them (lke the enchantment tables). In order to use a waystone, you have to “activate” or click it. I just… went with it.

I didn’t realize I was using the idea until a few chapters into twaho and starting fingers. When. I did, I developed it a little more but still, I like to be vague about it. I like magic you don’t fully understand, especially when it’s ancient. Also I feel like over explaining it ruins it in some cases and while Étoiles is the po to over explain mechanics, I like shoving him at something he can’t fully pick apart.

Gah sorry you asked for none of that but I like talk sorry. On to your queries…

Warping for those with ADHD or just overall scattered thoughts— tricky. Since I like to think of these waystones as almost alive (at least the magic), they’re interrupting the “information” from the person touching the stone. Like Étoiles on the beach of Eggxile right after upsetting Charlie, trying to warp to his base but all he could think about was his mistake. All he could think about was Charlie. So the waystone kept him there, where he clearly needed to be, until Étoiles could focus and put more intent into his warp. It’s real easy for people to end up at the wrong waystone simply because they’re distracted or panicking, their minds a jumbled mess. A funny irl example would be anyone wanting to go to one waystone but out of habit they clicked the wrong one, muscle memory. Silly stuff like that. I could talk about it all day tbh

And for the other q… ouch. While I don’t want to over explain the warpstones, but I will say this: the magic is contained in the stone pillars or the warpstones, so when they are moved, it moves the magic. However— the longer a pillar is left somewhere, the more attachment the magic has to an area. Magically and literally. Same for waystones that are frequently used by several people.

Think of the warpstone hub near spawn. That area is like… it’s almost like a beating heart, veins branching out to other communal places like the Favela or France or Phil’s. The traffic and the thought going into those waystones… the magic loves to share the world and loves when people share with it.

I haven’t put too much thought into what would happen if someone tries warping somewhere a stone has been destroyed or removed, but I think it boils down to a few things: how strong those feelings/memories are, and how desperate someone is to return. It’s going to vary from person to person depending on their own connections. I think it will also not be pleasant. You are trying to use magic that is no longer contained, that might not even be present in the location you are going, relying on a signal warpstone or waystone to get you there. Think like a cut wire: it’s contiained until the metal becomes exposed, with no grounding after. Chances of you actually getting there are slim, but maybe the right spark with find it’s way. I don’t know, my metaphors are awful. The idea ties into the share stones. Someone going to a warpstone without having ever been there is impossible unless they have someone else on the other end, connecting those points. Providing the memories and feelings and thoughts for others

Spawn point and beds and shit are al whole other thing that I have yet to chew on, but I think they are separate for the most part.

Okay I’ll stop talking i could go on for everrrrrr about this stuff and what it means for different hybrids, different situations, restrictions, hiccups… I love over explaining minecraft mechanics. It’s so much fun.

The first time I read My brother is a ghost and We're Phantoms I didn't put much of a thorough, making me even fooled me into thinking Andy was someone extremely emotional and a coward (yes I think I'm gonna correct some errors in my main comic to make him more canon) in some moments I even wanted to write him like princess Luna in my little pony; Someone who knows she can shine with her own light given the opportunity and someone who wants at least once a little of her sister's spotlight but reading a second time I realized...

Andy is not like that!, he doesn't hate to be in the shadows, he embraces it and hugs it with open arms, he doesn't need a spotlight when he can make those in the light to work for him (willingly or fooled into it), he plays people and ghost like a fiddle and he is not dumb, he knows what he can do and that's why his darkest fantasy is to be like corrupted Danny, having the confidence to not hold back and use his power in the shadows to make everything he wants without people even noticing it but he's afraid of losing himself in the process and hurting others, preferring to use his abilities to just support others and not be a mastermind...

And I have finally realized into what kind of villains he actually fits... Masterminds!, psychological torturers and manipulators.

(That's why my fic was not working... I was writing a harmless jealous impulsive brother (like... Nightmare moon, Catra, Hiro) when I should be writing a manipulator! (Phillip (Emperor Belos), The nowhere king, The beast, Bill Cipher, president Snow) aaaaa

He even shows subtle signs that like all manipulators and highly intelligent and analytic people he has to constantly remind himself of the limits, he's not a moralist and he's indeed a good guy but in the instant he's forced to cross the line (even if it's for the better good) he will not come back...

I've come to realize this with characters with somewhat similar backstory;

Coriolanus snow (Hunger games saga); He was a really smart guy with a good heart but he has been in war and hunger ever since he could remember, so when the opportunity presents and he had to be forced to use his manipulation abilities to get his family out of misery, he doubted but as he was buried deeper and deeper into the horrors of the hunger games, he began to lose humanity until he was "doing the necessary to win" like killing his best friend, trying to kill the love of his life and later on crawling to his president position out of poisoning allies who were potential threats, using the tributes as attractions to please his loyal allies like merchandise or animals with one face, meanwhile he's making the other districts barely slaves while making it all look like... It was inevitable and no one could really stop him, he even had the last laugh as the leader of the rebellion against him was killed and he drowned in his own blood because of the small doses of venom he has consumed to fool his enemies to think their poisoned drinks are save..., he even died in a really old age.

Philip Wittebane; A witch hunter that tricked all the witches into making him their leader. At the beginning we could say he's pretty much like Andy, a child who sees the world as only his brother Caleb and him against the world (a cruel world since it all happened in times where the witch hunt was a glorified act like becoming a knight and both brothers were orphan), but when his brother found the boiling island at first he was curious to explore it but as he realized this place had everything he was thought was "bad" and Evelyn ended up as Caleb's couple, Philip felt everything was taken away from him, so, he ended up killing both and proposing to destroy the boiling islands even not caring to leave behind his own humanity in the process, wanting it to destroy from the inside out, and who could even suspect him if he became the emperor?!, the loving leader of the islands who can talk with the equal of God (the Titan) and do his will.

I want to share my thoughts on a evil Andy but I don't want to make this post too long. But I'll talk deeply about it later on.

HII WELCOME BACK IM GLAD YOURE OKAY so.about my cafae latte oc they're a wolfwalker called Raine Nymbus and they use any pronouns when they were younger a drifting fae portal accidentally snatched them from the fae realm onto the mortal realm [specifically puerto rico, im puertorican and i like having my ocs reflect that in some way] and they were able to live pretty well despite being alone. they could pass surprisingly well as a dog when in their wolf form . However once faefolk and stuff became public knowledge the rumors of them being a wolfwalker with magic healing powers spread and eventually someone found their human body while they were away in wolf form. the person eventually also finds their wolf form and takes them away, putting the wolf form and the human body in 2 separates cages n stuff so raine couldnt go back into their human body the kidnapper was able to pass undetected saying he was like.some animal control agent that got called because "a wolf accidentally boarded a merchandise export boat and got off when the boat docked at puerto rico" [which is a lie] anyways ! he eventually got to minessotta with raine but raine was able to escape their cage and run now how does this tie to the cafae crew ? imagine youre jc. its a hot summer day and youve been working in the kitchen all day. you go to the front desk to see if anyone needs help with anything and a fucking Wolf breaks into the cafe. bob [and patrick who was also there] notice that.hey ! thats not a normal wolf while everyones panicking raine ends up leaping over the counter and hiding in the back/storage and soon enough the kidnapper shows up trying to play it off as "oh im sorry that was my dog can i have it back" nobody believes him obv bob enchants him to tell the truth but he runs away before they could get All the information, so all they know is that it's a wolfwalker and the guy has their human body Somewhere using nicoles divination they were able to figure out roughly where the body was and with patrick's wolf knowledge [wnd the fact that he can turn Into a wolf] he was able to communicate with raine and tell them that hey ! its gonna be ok we're here to helpand they do eventually find the body and curse the kidnapper.assuming deer woman or the sphynx didnt get him first

anyways this series of episodes ends with raine returning to their body and making an "i owe you" deal with bob since they dont have any money they couldnt repay bob for her help in returning them to their body.and then we dont see raine for a couple of episodes UNTIL the cafe is starting to get more customers and bob is thinking about hiring new people but none of the people who have applied have been good picks meanwhile nicole is in the woods that she goes to often to try and find this rare magical plant shes mentioned in canon but surprise ! theres an evil person.and shes too far from the stream for the sphynx to help.so its such a surprise when this wolf just !! jumps in out of nowhere !! and mauls the guy !!! wow what a coincidence

nicole tells bob about the encounter and how shes like 100% sure it was raine so bob offers raine the opportunity to complete the "i owe you" deal by working for her, which they agree too [keep in mind the "i owe you" did NOT force raine to work at the cafe, bob simply gave raine the opportunity to complete the "i owe you" by working at the cafe. if raine had denied, the "i owe you" wouldve been used in another situation] whew.thank you for letting me ramble - ] / bracket anon
