Hi! My copy of the RWBY Archives Remnant Promenade art book arrived today. I came across this concept art of Velvet which made me think of you, because, well, Velvet:

Cute but in a different way to your Velvet, who is one of the cutest I've seen. And also dangerous somehow, if that makes any sense. Dangerously cute? Let's go with that.

First, AHH that you thought about me cause that’s very sweet 🥺

Secondly I cannot get OVER that concept art. Like who is that?? Velvet??! It’s like a whole other character, it’s crazy to think that what if that did become her official design. I’m happy we have the official one, I like it a lot more. She looks more ruffleable which is important 😤

I thought maybe she could pass off as like, child velvet but between the sad eyes and emerald hair, I dunno it’s a big gap.

I'm now home after spending a week with my butch and...I miss her so much already 🥲 I have never felt like this about someone and we had such an amazing time together, I can't waitttt to see her again. Some highlights:

She loved the hats i made for her cat, we put them on him and the roommates cat, it was funny as hell, they hated them so much

Speaking of cats, the amount of cat cuddles with the both of us

We went grocery shopping together, cooked meals together, she put me up on the kitchen counter top, played house

We went to the bar, and I embarrassed myself by joining the lip sync competition and performing in front of a bunch of gay men. She thought I was good, and I love that she appreciates my cringe

Went to another bar, sat up front, and the host drag queen gave me an appreciation look and nod because I was one of the only people giving the cheer energy for the queens performing

We went through a box of her childhood pictures, I took home a physical trading card of her from when she played football and was the only girl on the team

She wrote me a letter that is just so....ugh 💓

She got me pink peonies to have in the house, and sent me home with one to preserve

She gave me her old binder, it fits me really well

I thought her how to crochet and she's already picking it up super well. Once she gets the hang of it, we want to start a 6 day blanket at the same time

She helped her roommate with some handy work shit with a drill, typical hot butch things

She wants us to plant a tomato seed at the same time and see whose grows the fastest

Went thrifting a lot, found some amazing finds, messed around in the fitting room

Had sex nearly every day, multiple times per day. At one point I said "It's been nearly 24 hours since we had sex, that's weird"

She ate me out on the balcony, in the cold ass air with the beautiful backdrop of the city view and moon in the background

We went to the sex shop and got some stuff together. She got me a bondage teddy bear plush.

She took me to a beautiful botanical garden with a lights display

We took every shower together

Nonstop talking. Just never running out of things to say

Just lots of laughing and cuddling and kissing and hickies and dressing each other up and taking pictures of each other and being in each others presence

We're going to be traveling together and i'll be trying to made it out there as often as I can

We wanna try and take some classes and workshops together, like ceramics and woodworking

I wanna learn how to do a fade and she wants to learn how to retwist locs so we can do each others hair

Lots of 'joking' about UHauling

I'm just very very very happy :)

Your honor, i love your works. The way u made these fictional characters evoke real emotions in me is pure wizardry. Whatever pairing you write I know you'll do our girl Mina proud and that's all I ever want from a fic. I hope people who lack taste get over themselves and quit harassing you. Oh yea the costumes in late got are so bad even if they are well made like the only one I actually like is sansas coronation gown

Ykw I don't like Sansa's gown either..... My girl looked flat and pastiche in that crown and her hair was SO BAD. The gown itself is fine but doesn't flatter Sophie at all. If it'd been me I'd have stripped the gloves, the weird metal bodice, and the asymmetric sleeves; emphasized Sophie's long neck with a v-neck a la her S1 tourney dress (which could have a ribbon border that echoes the show's neck collar) and done up her hair like for the Ramsay wedding in s5 or put it in a simpler braid that echoed Catelyn's s1 designs. The design of her sleeves was immensely good, but it was absolutely invisible to anyone who just watched the show- I didn't even remember it existed until I googled her coronation dress five minutes ago- so I'd probably flip that out as a one-shoulder cape pinned in place by her furs, and kept the sleeves cut close to her wrist. And then I'd brighten up the entire ensemble by dyeing it a brighter white, to emphasize the whole wedding-in-Winterfell s5 Ramsay wedding parallels without being completely on the nose.
