Hell yea i do!! This got a little long :)

These funky little dudes have the coolest morphology, something theyre well known for. They can be pretty tiny (0.4 cm) or surprisingly large (60 cm) and generally live in the tropics, though there are certainly a wide variety that live in cooler ocean water as well. Some of the more well known species are very eye catching, like the Jorunna Parva (Bunny slug) or Glaucus Atlanticus

Some of them look like funky leaves and some of them look like slugs we see on the surface too! (Did you know licking banana slugs that you find on land makes your tongue go numb? 10/10 not recommended but i was a dumb kid)

They also come in a goth or clown variant for those that are looking to fit a certain aesthetic :)

Theres two kinds of nudibranchs. Dorids, which breathe from a central plume of gills above their ass, and Aeolids, which breathe from a collection of spiky protrusions called cerata. There are a couple more distinguishing features relating to their digestive tracts and mantles (or lack thereof), but this is the easiest way to tell them apart in my opinion!

Theyre also carnivorous! These guys will eat a wide variety of stuff, including sponges, coral, barnacles, anemones, and even other nudibranchs and their eggs.

There are a couple species that have some pretty cool diets, like the Glaucus Atlantica, which preys on the portugese man of war and other siphonophores. It can eat the man of war whole if theyre small enough, but will also just eat the tentacles if theyre too big. Glaucus will then push the stinging nematocysts (the bits that hurt) from its insides to its outsides and use them as self defence!

There are also sea slugs, like the Costasiella Kuroshimae (technically not a nudibranch yada yada yada) that eat algae they then use to photosynthesize!

These funky little creatures are also hermaphroditic! Like a lot of animals, they use mating dances to attract a partner. Thats not whats cool about their reproduction though. When the time comes to lay their eggs, they do so in the coolest ribbon-like structures.

Mostly though, i just love how different all these little guys are. Personally, my fav nudi is from the ocean near where i live!

You looked up from where you sat at your desk, research essays on Pablo Picasso stacked on top of the paint-stained surface. The last bits of sunlight leaked through the drawn curtains in your art classroom. Streaks of oranges and pinks illuminated the drying pottery your students had worked on that morning.

Logan stood next to your desk. Flannel sleeves rolled up around his elbows, white tank top splotched in red clay, jeans dusty around the hems. An apprehensive, almost nervous, frown stretched at his face. You glanced down at what he held in his hands.

A small, rough-around-the-edges, clay whale sat in his outstretched palm. It was a little uneven in its proportions, the flippers too big for its head, but it was absolutely adorable.

"Oh my God, Logan!" you gasped. You gingerly plucked the thumb-size figurine from him and cradled it in your palms. This was the most perfect gift you had ever received from anybody.

"You don't gotta lie if you don't like it," Logan grumbled, hand rubbing anxiously at the back of his neck.

"Shut up, grump," you breathed. You gently set the whale on your desk, on top of the papers you needed to grade, and threw your arms around Logan's shoulders. The sudden movement was met with an "oof!" and Logan tentatively placing his hands on your hips. You pulled back to look him in his hazel eyes, "I fucking love it. You're gonna need to make me more. I want a whole pod!"

Logan groaned, shrugging your arms off and stepping away from you as you giggled. You leaned back on your desk.

"I ain't making more. One and done," Logan groused. You laughed at his reluctance, taking one of his large hands in both of yours.

"At least one more? So this one isn't so lonely?" you pleaded, sticking out your bottom lip to really sell it. Logan groaned again while rolling his eyes. You kept up the puppy-dog face until he looked back to you.

He sighed, "Fine. One more. That's it."

SYBOULETTE'S CANDY NURSERY CONVERTED TO THE SIMS 2 🍭

hi everyone! @syboubou released their candy nursery set some time back in april to celebrate the release of ts4's growing together expansion pack, and i DESPERATELY wanted it for ts2! it's so, so adorable! so i did what i do, and almost two months later... here we are! i'm finally done converting the ENTIRE set! 🥳💃🏽

altogether there are 23 buy items, many of them functional, and 3 build assets: 2 wallpapers, 1 carpet floor. i'm immensely pleased with how it all turned out! it should pair well with my dreamy toddler conversions (linked above) and also my 4t2 conversion of madlen's kei baby care kit!

the changing table does not actually come with a bin. so unless you place the decorative trash bin next to it, your sims will be throwing their trash into the void.

the crib is unanimated. i tried my best but the mapping and the way the model was made simply would not accomodate any animations without looking even worse 😫

the dresser is just decor. i use the gussy up mod in my game so my sims rarely use wardrobes. plus, the original dresser's structure made it impossible to be animated 😅

the way that the playmat works in the previews above is actually as a rug. i made an invisible recolor of the sims 2 store playmat (included in the download) and layered it over the decorative one so that it's 'functional'! if you just want the playmat as a rug, you can delete this.

the toddler bed is cloned from @themediocresulk's toddler beds as pet beds so that it's less buggy and your toddlers can get in or out whenever you want them to! you may want to grab this mod so that they gain more motives.

Syb's Shibata Match Recs

Since there's renewed interest in The Wrestler because of his amazing match with Bryan Danielson, I thought now might be a great time to drop some match recs for him! All of these have links you can watch right now. I also recommend this article about his time on the Japanese Indies/MMA, this summary video of his return arc to NJPW, and this fanvid, which captures his vibe so well (cw: it includes the headbutt spots from Shibata vs. Okada).

Katsuyori Shibata & KENTA vs. Mitsuharu Misawa & Go Shiozaki Of the "Takeover" matches where Shibata and KENTA tagged, this is the one I recommend most often! It's a gritty, hard hitting slugfest, with lots of crazy spots. And as a benefit you get to see two of the all-time greats, Misawa in his late prime and Shiozaki as he's starting to rise as NOAH's future ace. Both Shibata and KENTA are in peak form here.

Katsuyori Shibata & Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Atsushi Sawada & Shinichi Suzukawa I feel like it's only fair to give some context on Shibata's MMA period. Here he is tagging in a "shoot style" wrestling match with one of the all time MMA greats, Sakuraba. I love this match because it feels like it encapsulates 2 things about Shibata: 1. he's a much better pro wrestler than he his MMA fighter. 2. he's (especially in this period) a loaded canon ready to fight at the drop of a hat. I love how excited he is in this. I hate that he jumps so hard he bonks himself immediately on the head. Dumbass (affectionate).

Katsuyori Shibata vs. Shinsuke Nakamura I watched quite a few matches from Shibata's "prodigal son returns" arc in NJPW, and this one was the standout to me. Maybe some of the Tanahashi matches are more narratively punchy, but this was my first exposure to Nakamura in peak form, and boy is that a powerful thing.

Katsuyori Shibata vs. Kazuchika Okada (! INJURY WARNING !) The fact that I'm recommending this match knowing what happened to Shibata after... okay, seriously, this is one of the greatest wrestling matches I have ever seen in my life. The intensity and the way the story builds up to it. God. It's tragic to a high degree that Shibata's best work ended up so fraught like this. I wish there were 0 unprotected headbutts in this match, because it would still be one of the best matches I've ever seen. If you can stomach the implications of this being the match that almost killed him (it took me a long time to watch it) -- it really is That Good.

Katsuyori Shibata vs. Ren Narita Shibata's comeback story really ended here, it feels like. After years of gruelling recovery while he trained the next generation at the LA Dojo, he was finally able to go in the ring at Wrestle Kingdom, against his protege Ren Narita (in identical dress!). Rumor has it that Shibata went off-script and personally pissed off NJPW by changing this from a grappling rules match to a regular wrestling match -- I dunno if that's true, but for sure The Wrestler was back after this match :)

There are other Shibata matches and moments I've known and loved, but this is a good summary of his back-catalogue. Thanks for reading and enjoy!

Although he doesn't want you to panic due to the size difference.

Santi is drooling. Oh sweet minx, you're going all sorts of ways. Santi's going to try to shove you into his slit, and it's not a bright idea. He wants you to hug his cock and kiss it and talk about how big he is. He wants to cum on you just to watch it drip off your body like hot wax. Santi needs to eat you out and stick your entire lower body in his mouth. He's so ready to have you grind on his finger, just drunk off the possibilities.

Grimbly... Is panicking. He's supposed to be the small one! Oh no. Everyone's going to try to take you away from him now that you're doll sized!! Purpur is not allowed to touch you because he will crush you accidentally and cry himself to death. The wraith has to be much much lighter with punishments, but loves making you put on a tiny show for him while he strokes himself off. You're adorable.

Patches is more annoyed than anything. You can't just drink anything you find, are you nuts?! Stay on his desk, please. The dullahan unfortunately gets very distracted from his work and makes several breaks just to find an excuse to hold you, sometimes brushing pens against you, dislodging your clothes, tipping you over just so he can see your undies- Stitches has no hesitation in throwing you into his pants.

Vinnel is having such a grand old time! Ooooh boy, where's he going to put his dolly next? Oh, how about this very tall shelf. Sheesh poppet, how will make it down now, hm? He throws you in the air a little, only to catch you and do it again. You're stroked and pressed to orgasm several times until you've soaked his hand in your fluids, until you're crying for him to stop, and he's palming himself like a mutt to the show. You've also been sentenced to dress up dolly time forever now.

Belo is consumed by worry. Dear Krulu, you're so fragile like this! He needs to keep you safe at all times. Hold onto his head, his halo, please just don't let go of him, you can get lost or swiped or kicked and Belo wouldn't forgive himself if something happened to you. The mimiclings are thrilled about this and they will carry you everywhere behind Syb when he can't hold you himself. When alone, he's still going to lick you all over and try to make you grind on his tongue.

Fank-e squeals so high he breaks his voice box and probably deafens you a little. You're SO CUTE. Do a little dance! For him, please? You're staying in his torn up top the whole day while he speeds around, occasionally stopping to pet you, give you sips from drinks and presenting you to everyone he knows like a wet cat. Haha, look at my meow meow- He will still pin you on his palm and vibrate his thumb until you're squeaking and squealing.

Krulu sighs. You're already so small, this is just added insult. Fortunately, or unfortunately, you're sentenced to the role of a shoulder corvid, hanging off the protrusions near his clavicles or passed around between six hands like a toy. You're pretty useless at this size, so he makes sure that you stay within a safe range from him. The higher will shrink meals and pretend to be annoyed, but in reality, his lower eye is constantly darting to you and his lips twitch up sometimes. Precious.

It's complete chaos, and the prankers are loving it. Their all standing off to the side just watching all the mayhem unfold. The Slytherin's are smiling the most because of how much disorder they caused.

Pranking day is the best thing that has ever happened to Hogwarts. This day, they can prank all they want and not get detention for it. Even McGonagall is off to the side smiling.

AAAAA ok!!!

It's so difficult to pick but I managed to narrow it down :D I was planning to just share two specific hcs but I got carried away with each one and it just turned into word soup lmao

1: Dorlily

OH MY GOD I LOVE THEM 😭 I don't talk about them NEARLY as much as I should, I need to write a fic for them at some point. The rivals to lovers of it all, the constant competition and snarky flirting. I love them sooooo much! Especially if it ends badly and it's all angsty before they later get with other people but they're still just bitterly pining over eachother. Even when they're together they're trying to one-up each other and it should be toxic but it's their love language. They go from 0-100 so fast (take that however you will) and everybody around them is shocked to find out they're together. Definitely starts off casual and then accidentally grows into something more. If they're endgame I can see them fighting over large purchases and who drives and stuff, not because they hate each other but because they want to see how much they can get away with doing for their partner without addressing it. Kind of like aggressive princess treatment? I mainly like them in modern aus or crime aus.

2: Marylene

Also underrated but they're gaining popularity. Friends to lovers!! They definitely were each other's first crushes and convinced themselves they were over it but they weren't. They got together through their friends plotting and telling them the other liked them bc they couldn't admit to it themselves. A lot of accidental flirting. They work well in both canon and other aus but I love the idea of athletics aus for them (usually dance and hockey) as well as any form of historical bc they're just so chaotic it's amazing. They settle in really well together and none of their friends really notice when they take a new step in their relationship because after the initial panic and denial they end up moving really smoothly. Everyone is jealous of them for it.

3: Crystalflower (Lily and Sybill)

A little biased bc I made this one...but they complement each other so well! They're both smart but Lily is more obviously academically inclined and Syb is a little less obvious in her intelligence but it's there and Lily sees it. Then the angst of the war and the prophecy 😭 of her knowing it could be the woman she loves who is in danger but being in no place to stop it. Having to see Harry and see her girl looking back at her. The GUILT. Sybill teaches her tarot and in return Lily helps her with her extended writing skills. Nobody knows they're together, nobody really knows they hang out, but they like it that way. They can share each other without intervention or judgement.

Bonus: Bugmia (Walburga and Euphemia). Technically not marauders era but I have to mention them bc they're so overhated and I love them as bitter exes where they both thought they could fix each other and it never worked. Also quidditch rivals!!!

Hey all, I wanted to preemptively apologize for not being responsive on here this week.

I just lost my childhood dog unexpectedly and I am absolutely devastated.

On a lighter note, I am also getting married this week.

I am not mentally prepared to go through both of these huge things at the same time and my brain is having a difficult time adjusting. I promise to get back to you as soon as I can.
