What would you say to Jack McBrayer that compliments him on his role as a voice actor, reassures him that there’s still interest in the plans for S3, and boosts his determination to reprise his role?

If I were to meet Jack in person, here’s what I’d say…

Hey, Jack, it’s such a pleasure to meet you! When some folks see you, they think of Kenneth, but as soon as I take one look at you, I immediately think of Wander. Craig and Lauren couldn’t have picked a voice more fitting for a character whose powers of positivity are far beyond those of anyone. I even took to calling him a “Jack McBrayerlien.”

I believe the first time I heard your voice was in Kung Fu Panda Holiday as a rabbit chef named Wo-Hop. I heard you yet again in Phineas and Ferb as Irving, in Despicable Me as TWO minor characters (a tourist and a carny), and in Wreck-It Ralph as Fix-It Felix Jr. I tell you what, though, Wander Over Yonder is the one show where you truly got to shine (more on that later). I heard your voice in several other projects (The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange, The Adventures of Puss in Boots, and Mighty Magiswords). As for the secondary characters you played in the other DTVA shows, I feel they don’t have that je ne sais quoi Wander has. No matter what character I see or hear, I ALWAYS think of Wander, a main character from a show named after him (Felix is the second one I think of, though).

You probably don’t realize this, but I’ve been part of the WOY fandom for a long, long time. When I found you’d be the voice of the character, I WANTED to watch the show, especially since it was created by the genius behind two of Cartoon Network’s megahits. Where else can we hear you sing and raise your voice to a high pitch whenever appropriate (e.g. The Egg, in which Wander says “What is wrong with you?”)? Wander is the kind of character who inspires me to look for the best in other people and solve problems in a friendly manner. Upon finding out that WOY would be canceled after S2 even though the plans for S3 were made beforehand, I was downright disappointed. One look at that downed space capsule in the end tag of “The End of the Galaxy” was enough to convince me that Craig and the crew had more to tell. That, and Wander has not fully befriended Lord Hater. Also, I did not get to see what became of the other villains, including Emperor Awesome.

You and the other folks involved should be thankful Peepsqueak launched the SaveWOY campaign. Remember when you signed the S2 poster? They were eternally grateful for it. This person was fully aware of the show’s unfinished business, and it was their mission to make Disney’s higher ups, as well as the Internet, see that. Nowadays, I’m not sure what they’re up to, so a few people who refused to give up and move on, including me, had to step in. Craig led me to believe that S3 was guaranteed to be amazing, so forgive me for being a chatterbox about it. The majority of the world almost always fails to acknowledge the show’s existence and I for one have grown weary of it. You should see some of the fan content I put together in the past 8 years, including a little animation I did of the Star Nomad in flight. They show just how much I care about the show and how determined I am to right the wrong done to it. You might say I’m as big a fan of Wander as Irving is of Phineas and Ferb.

Anyhoo, please don’t doubt you’ll ever get the chance to return to perform “Sunshine Banjo Face,” ‘cause you will, just as long as we all stay determined. I’d love to hear your character sing about the season-long journey bringing folks to their home planets, react to Star Force Enforcement Force’s way of dealing with villains, make friends with a space ape, and bid Lord Hater adieu at the end of the show’s REAL series finale.

If you want to know how vicious antis can be, let me tell you the story of a queer disabled trauma survivor who had their childhood dream of becoming a professional animator in the industry destroyed by antis

Their name is Ang Vondra (handsomehugs). Many of you probably heard the accusations that they’re a pedophile, probably because they were and still are targeted by blatant misinformation both online (mainly twitter, an artists beware post on Facebook and kiwi farms) AND in real life. I’ll try to summarize it as best as I can but it’s a long story

The reason Ang is called out is because they drew taboo art (invader Zim porn) on a different adults only platform under an Alias. They have always tried to keep their account on tumblr/twitter separate from the adult platform one but it was found and the images shared between their then boss Kyle Karozza (mighty magiswords) and their coworkers.

On top of that they made friends with people who have a very negative fixation on them and who are antis. The names are jeraspat, jay goldstein (truebuggy) and holly meadow disch. These people have stalked them and doxxed them for 2+ years because they made Ang a scapegoat of drama they have absolutely nothing to do with.

Because they wanted to move on from a toxic friend group, they made new accounts and started shipping two characters from the previously mentioned cartoon until their old friend group (mainly jera) recognized the art style and began calling them out for “manipulating everyone” both online and offline

At first Ang tried to ignore this but because the people I mentioned actually have some influence in the animation industry, their spread of misinformation was actually successful. They were isolated both online and offline, had multiple kiwi farms stalkers, moved across states just to get away from their stalkers, are in a huge financial debt and even though they cut all ties to the animation industry and people in it, they still hound Ang TO THIS DAY

I’ve watched drama unfold because Ang made a post and it reached a person who hasn’t blocked them. The post WASNT even about them but they still went and made false accusations about Ang harassing them. They are actually GLAD even that Ang was black listed from the industry because scummy people decided to spread misinformation

All over fictional nsfw. Stuff the animation industry is actually known for. But they saw Ang as an easy victim because unlike them Ang had no power and is a queer trauma survivor

So if this reaches anyone, I’d love if this could be spread for awareness. ANTIS DESTROY LIFE CAREERS. AND they get away with it without repercussion!

OMORI - Voice Actor Headcanons.

While I haven’t exactly finished this game yet, I am close enough to the end and have met basically all the characters, so I think it’s time I got around to doing my good ol’ series of VA headcanons for a game that either doesn’t have one, or doesn’t have an English Dub.

This time we’re doing Omori, a game I started playing at the beginning of this year and have fallen in love with very very quickly. I’ve been through a very painful time of my life recently and this game helped me work through it letting me know that it doesn’t matter how I grieve, just that any way I can is correct. 

And the way the characters work together in the game is also incredible, and I was eagerly awaiting to get to the point that I’m at so I could do a VA headcanons section for this. So before we get started, let me once again go two things.

This is NOT CANON. These are HEADCANONS and are unofficial. It’s just a hypothetical situation. If the characters were voiced, this is who I imagine would voice them.

I am obsessed with WordGirl.

I can't watch anything else.

I tried getting motivated for so many other shows but WordGirl is the only one that I want to watch -- not Psych, not My Adventures With Superman, not Mighty Magiswords.

And all the episodes are on YouTube. I'm on the third last episode of season 1.

And I love that there's so much work and diversity in the world building. This world of heroes and villains like there is a villain convention that Tobey, despite being a kid, is invited to attend, Chuck goes through a lair AND persona crisis, there's team-ups and so much different types of episodes! It's episodic but they're not just the same template each time! And all of it in season 1!!!!!!!

I grew up watching Cartoon Network and Disney shows outside of Disney Channel outside the US, so more often than not I had reruns of season 1 episodes continuously for years until one day they blessed us with season 2, if ever (examples: Atomic Betty, Wizards of Waverly Place, idr more rn)

Season 1s were always the same episodic template. I don't remember the other shows, but I do remember that I had, as a kid, noticed this, I was only watching season 1 for a lot of shows, and then I would go on YouTube to watch other seasons and the rest of the story.

And then. the other seasons had this different thing, like villains would learn the hero's secret identity, or the hero's friend would FINALLY learn their identity. This was always in season 2 and onwards, season 1 never had that -- season 1 episodes were always the same template each time.

I guess that has contributed to making me like WordGirl more because I could have been seeing so much diversity on a season 1 show as a kid but didn't! And it combines with my world of heroes and villains interest! And, ofc, really smart and goofy and silly villains and civilians (and heroes) :)

That's so understandable, and what's great about WordGirl! The writers don't take it too seriously while at the same time completely going hard on world building and character development.

I didn't grow up with WordGirl either, since PBS isn't available in the UK, so seeing kids' media that had much better representation than the media I grew up watching and reading is bittersweet. All I can do is write what I wanted to read and throw myself down the rabbit hole of people who wanted to see the representation without having to create it.

reading!! I love to read, and I can often be found in my cozy nest of blankets and stuffies on my bed, reading or curled up on the ground with some blankets in a corner of a room just enjoying a book.

Drawing is another hobbie of mine! I draw all the time when I am big or If I am little and I love trying new and fun types of art and love to be as creative as possible! I also draw when I am feeling sad or depressed as it helps me put things down in a drawing if I can't find the right words or I am to upset to speak and also helps me vent too. I also Journal.

Watching cartoons and anime is also something I do often too. My favorite cartoons to watch when little are wild kratts,mlp,bluey,pokemon,Danny Phantom,winx,carebears, the cuphead show,httyd, mighty magiswords and a bunch of others but those are my favorite!

As for anime I love to watch one piece,naruto,demon slayer,bleach,heaven's official blessing,bnha,black butler,blue exorcist,fairy tail,soul eater,assassination classroom,kuroko no basket and a bunch more but then I would be putting a lot of anime!

My age regression:

For my age regression I do regress from my past trauma that I experienced when I was younger and couldn't really have the best childhood. And I do sometimes regress non-voluntary but that Is when I am overwhelmed or verrrrry stressed.

My little ages are 1-6 and but I am usually on the younger side. So I usually enjoy watching cartoons, art and crafts!,playing with stuffies and toys,fun games and playing on my switch.

My favorite games on my switch are animal crossing,slime rancher,minecraft and sky: children of light! I have other ones I really like too and if curious you can ask.

Things that make me feel small! : drinking from sippy cups and bottles and using my paci! Cuddling my stuffies and using my agere dishes and utensils.

Favorite food and drink: hot chocolate,apple juice and angel milk are my favorite drinks and Mac & cheese with chicken nuggets or Mashed potatoes with corn and hot dogs are my favorite meals! Also love snacks! :3

Out of all the shows you have mixed or negative opinions on which show you think could have been better?

Ideally, all of them could be better. Foster’s Home and T.U.F.F. Puppy are the big ones, where I’m not into them as a whole, but understand their worth. But my final answer would be Mighty Magiswords, because I think more than a couple people would love it to pieces if only it was better paced. I’m not a practiced expert on animation production, but it seems like it would be a quick fix for most episodes.

While "Mighty Magiswords" isn't the best Cartoon Network show, I feel like this show deserves a lot more love. Heck, I think Warner Bros. Home Entertainment should release a "Complete Series" DVD, Blu-Ray, and Ultra HD Blu-Ray boxset for the show with every episode and web short.

In the meantime, if Prohyas and Vambre were available for meet and greets, who would you hug?
