obviously SLS is echorator in this AU. Her close connection with the Void Sea due to this makes her a frequent target for channeling various entities, willingly or not

some sort of entity? force of nature? will? idk. it's called The Will Of The Void, I guess

and it wants to enforce that cycles remain perpetuated even as timelines are reset or branch out or etc. More specifically in this case it is trying to enforce that specific individuals who became echoes in another timeline shall become echoes once again in this one

and thus SLS can either help willingly or be puppeted against her will, yay! 👍

Makoto truly is The Character Ever. He wears a silly mask, and has a collection of other silly masks. He rode in on a balloon to rescue the main cast. He sometimes bathes fully clothed. He's the main antagonist. He's the CEO of a mega corporation. He kidnaps criminals from around the world and mass produces them into meat buns. He has two completely made up backstories for his mask. He sent the detectives a video of a fake terrorist attack. He rebuilt an entire submarine perfectly. He drives a luxury car with no license. He's 4'11". He caused the nonstop rain in Kanai Ward. One of his likes is raw ham. He's technically a three year old. He's a homunculus clone of the main character, who is considered the world's greatest mind.

little situation in my brain :imagine: i can imagine anything. watcher of painted skies (slugcat/scav!) (watcher) out on a mission to get his iterator, feathers from beyond, a micro rarefaction cell and gets stopped on the way back. not sure how he managed to not get stabbed already but hes not doing a good job of bartering...

one of my fave things about writing different characters is exploring how a story can be different depending on who's telling it. people's perceptions of themselves and each other and their relationships vary So Widely.

this means the various outside POVs thus far in the princess AU are like

camila: luz and hunter are very clearly in a romantic relationship

raine: luz and hunter very clearly have a codependent familial relationship

amity: at this point i don't think either of those are 100% true but it's actually, like.... way weirder that way.
