1. Daniel is a better asset for the Faenza Team than for Red Bull Racing in Milton Keynes

2. Red Bull Racing need to face the problem in case they loose Max Verstappen and their future in the sport

3. For years Yuki has been overlooked as canditate for the second seat at Red Bull Racing although he is outperforming his car since atleast the beginning of 2023

4. They loose the purpose of the Faenza Team if they choose drivers outside the Red Bull Family yet again

1. Daniel is a better asset for the Faenza Team than for Red Bull Racing in Milton Keynes

When you listen to the interviews from Peter Bayer, Laurent Mekies and Franz Tost (last year), everyone always said & still say that Daniel is a great asset in term of developing and setting up the car

To quote Franz "He has an incredible feel for the car" and Peter "With his feel and developement advises he is also helping Yuki"

They were so happy last year that Daniel was there in Singapore to help setting up the car tho he himself couldn't drive, even claiming the he was an additional factor to why Liam got points in that race (i could talk hours about singapore23 trust me)

Red Bull Racing dont need someone for developing because of the current state of them dominating and being miles ahead their competiors and be able to create a car for Max smashing the whole grid

And wouldn't it be awesome to see VCARB podiums and wins like Pierre Gasly did with this Team in 2019 - 2021 ...

thinking about Daniels Renault time in 2020 and feeling that he was the asset that helped their performance jump between 2019 and 2020

2. Red Bull Racing need to face the problem in case they loose Max Verstappen

Red Bull Racing needs to look into how they will proceed to be on to top in the case when Max leaves the sport (or to another team which i doubt) (which could be quite soon on how often Max already talked about retirement)

For that you need young talented drivers to make the step up because they can still develope themselves into a better driver and they also prob stay longer than driver who already drove over 10 years

Alonso and Hamilton are exceptions in their field and as we know WDCs usually stay longer in the sport as just race winners or podium getter or point bringers. Formula 1 also has the problem that they are almost either affraid of bringing in rookies because they are more likely to make mistakes or love to hold onto their old (washed) drivers

Too many young drivers were really good coming through the ranks of F4 F3 and F2 but never got a chance in F1. The case of Oscar Piastri who smashed everthing in F2 in 2021 still had to wait and fight to get that McLaren seat or it was moreover Mark Webber, who had to fight. Most drivers dont have a well known Manager to get those deals.

So i totally understand why Marko said that Liam Lawson WILL HAVE A SEAT IN 2025.

But I feel like Liam still has to proof his worth for some years in the VCARB before stepping up to Red Bull Racing.

3. For years Yuki has been overlooked as canditate for the second seat at Red Bull Racing although he is outperforming his car since atleast the beginning of 2023

Red Bull Racing themselfs prob still have PTSD from 2019 and 2020 with Gasly and Albon. That years showed that the big team doesn't have the patience to develope a rookie like Lawson. They also had luck with Max in that term but also had to go through a lot of crashes and imperfections back then.

Yuki Fan expierence this bias against Yuki far to long. To me in my mind come how the media shitted on Yuki in Mexico for his mistake when he was trying to overtake Oscar. The media shitted in Yuki more than on Checo Perez who took himself out.

As recap: Yuki on that day started from the back bc he got a new gearbox which was 1 aditional change to max allowed gearbox changes of the season. He started from the back and made up places, he got into the points and with his mistake he fell out of the points. You also have to understand that he was stuck behind Piastri for multiple laps to try to find an opening to overtake and prob got frustrated

Besides of that happening Yuki showed a very good race craft and teamwork in qualifying that weekend.

But regarding the Red Bull Racing seat - they barely name him, though he had very very good 2023 season regarding the car he was given

In the beginning of 2023 it was often said in the Media that Nyck De Vries was a possible candidate for the RBR seat and that Nyck will be the teamleader of AT because of his expierence and age according to Helmut Marko

And Yuki smashed that Media say with beating Nyck last year ... kinda similar how he is beating Daniel right now and the fuss about Daniel taking the

Or how Yuki Fans say: All voices that rise against Yuki shall fall

In that and also considering the precious point I am really annoyed about the fact that Checo Perez only has to do the bare minimum to keep his seat and drivers in less good cars work their ass off to get nothing out of it. Ofcourse rn he looks like he is handeling the car this years RB20 better than the RB19 .. as we saw last year that can change midseason with the increase of competion and car developements

Again - the idea of Yuki (and Daniel) may be closer to Max in quali and race pace than Checo overall but we dont know because they dont sit in the same car

4. They loose the purpose of the Faenza Team if they choose drivers outside the Red Bull Family yet again

This point is regarding the rumor about that maybe Sainz or Alonso are targeted for the second seat at Red Bull Racing if Perez doesnt perform.

If they take someone outside the family 2 current drivers have to go. There are already 3 drivers for 2 seats since Helmut Marko already sees Liam Lawson in the VCARB (they could have signed the contract already).

I see that they maybe eye Sainz (als a Carlos Sainz Fan too) as a possibility since him also being an ex-Red Bull Junior ... but i think i remember Marko saying that the mood the Torro Rosso 2015 wasn't ideal bc the drivers, mechanic and especially the DADS competing directly (Franz Tost enjoyed it according to his interview end of last year and i too would watch Papa Sainz and Jos battle it out)

Marko too said last year he'd loved to have Norris, but Lando dedicated his life to McLaren. Charles dedicated his to Ferrari and I also see how Alex Albon future is within Williams since Red Bull never really apprechiated him when he was there in 2019 & 2020

There is no reason to look outside the family if you have enough good drivers to sign and resign within the family

5. If that doesn't work out with Yuki and they need an expierenced driver because the competition found a way to beat Red Bull - they still can swap out Yuki for Daniel when needed

This is a lead back to the first point.

It only makes sense to sign Daniel Ricciardo for the Red Bull Racing seat if Red Bull Racing needs him in that seat.

If Perez can't give Max and the Team the teamplay or the performance they need from him, Red Bull has to make changes. Currently Yuki - a young and good driver - looks like the better and more long term replacement option out of both VCARB drivers. If Yuki fails too, then i would give the seat to Daniel and hope for the best.

Because if there is 1 thing we all know is that Daniel can be a beast in the Red Bull Racing car. That car (according to himself at the red bull interview with is race engineer) has still the characteristic that he (and Max) loves about that car and the Red Bull Racing Team know what kind of car Daniel wants and needs to perform and the kind of car in that Daniel can show his beast (honey badger) in him.

So ive decided to bring back shifting to my life in small increments. I discovered i wanted to shift to be myself. As someone who lives in a very strict household my need changed to want to have fun, and to have andimportant purpose. That feels like thats a new healthy relationship to shifting rather than treating it like a lifeline or my lst hipe for happiness. I had to step away for 2 months to really just rest from it all.

The way i was also getting uncomfortable by a lot of the shifting community didnt help either. Shifting became a lifeline for so many people. Shifting consumed peoples lives and when i realized it consumed mine i got freaked out. It still makes me uncomfortable to be in the shifting community after seeing how people are now. It used to be really fun and now i dont know i dont think ill stay, and for those thinking "ha. Loser giving up" while you yourself didnt shift, i hope you do shift then. If thats what you want go for it this isnt what i want. Its uncomfortable and weird. Its weird how you think this is normal or should be normal or ok.

So. Since im leaving, im just going to unapologetically list everything im uncomfortable with.

- How some shifters acted like celebrities

- "Its your shifting dad astro"

- Convincing other shifters they're a loser for wanting to quit

- The walking dead shifters

- Shifting to be a kid to date a kid (I dont care if you're technically a kid in the dr, you are weird. and you know you are.)

- How we all just listened to every shifting advice and ran with it. Doesnt it scare you how we were all so desperate to leave?

- People who shift to be with villains/bullies.

- People who tell others if they dont script out xyz then they condone xyz.

- People who scripted they got s/a'd in their dr just to get hurt/comfort. You're also traumatizing yourself and your comfort character btw and ruining both of your mental health.

- People who thinks mean = funny

the hfth brainrot is going strong and I need to take a bit to rant about how good all of the parralels between all of the characters are because oh my good mx wellman you truly outdid yourself on them

Riot-The Misters R&W-Moth: all three spent their entire time since the black rain in bunkers, only to be forced to leave

Riot-Clara-Moth: all three spent their time isolated in their respective safe houses with their families, only for something to go terribly wrong and them being forced to flee. They lose their parents, but after leaving all found a new mentor/father figure to teach them how to become strong enough to survive

Clara-Olivier: kinda obvious basicaly everybody references how clara is slowly becoming the new olivier and in the season 3 finale they make it even more clear by saying that blackletter didnt even remove olivier from the plan. also both dated riot

Walt-Bern: both were survivors in the woods but while walt used compassion and understanding, bern initialy refused to believe either diggory or olivier should be allowed to survive

Soloman-Irene: both were masters of the dark arts who attempted to reanimate the dead

The Resting Place crew-The Grand Crossroads crew: a group of a renagade devil, a powerful creature animated by the black rains, and a woman who takes her power from another indiscribably who acts as a lancer and supporter of the devil

Recently y'all have probably noticed that I've run out of steam a bit for this blog. Is there life past the hyperfix and all that. Trying to keep up with everything I've been doing seems to actually make me drop the ball on the primary function (reblogging danmei polls), leaving things to marinate in my drafts for days...

So what I wanna do is officially trim the additional work I've been doing down to a manageable level. For this, I'm going to run a few polls to determine the priority of those tasks, and if they should stay as they are or be minimized in some way. Before that, though, a reminder of what the options are:

12h bumps - the polls getting another reblog 12 hours after I initially reblog them, presumably helping people in different timezones see them on their dashes.

Submissions Open masterpost - collecting links to tournaments with open submissions, presumably helping people submit more characters to more tournaments.

Midweek bumps - haven't done them in a while due to aforementioned 'leaving polls to marinate', but: reblogging week-long polls again at about '3 days some hours left' mark if they meet conditions*. Presumably updating people on the state of the poll, e.g. prompting them to reblog / write propaganda if their blorbo has started losing after they have seen the poll initially; also putting it on the dashes of people who missed the original reblog(s).

honestly at the end of the day its always each other 🥺 no matter how bad they hurt one another or fall out or drift apart, all it takes is forcing them in a room for long enough until one of them (almost always evander but possibly deia) makes the dumbest, most ill timed, inappropriate joke and the whole squad loses their minds. its the great equalizer in the trio. even matthas - who is at his core a hater and a no-fun-allowed kind of guy - ultimately WILL be forced to laugh at some mean comment evander makes about some loser magister and it will make him ANGRY bc he does not WANT to be laughing at his dumbass brother. but he WILL laugh. every time. unfortunately during datv while rebuilding their relationship i do think a lot of the jokes are all at the expense of each other but hey, what are siblings for (she says, as an only child)

individually though - evander is VERY slapstick. LOVES openly laughing at people get hurt especially if theyre figures of authority. but anyone's fair game tbh. very mortifying to deal with him in public lol. matthas has an open love for deadpan/roast humour but a secret more passionate love for puns and dad jokes. he would probably love minion memes also i fear. deia on the other hand gets theatrical. loves pranks a la sera. loves doing silly little characters and bits. she WILL commit to a bit until its dead in the ground and everyone else is uncomfortable but thankfully evander shares this same obnoxious quality albiet to a lesser extent so they can and will get stuck into a good bit of banter for hours if you let them.

essentially these three are very dangerous in a room together under the correct silliness conditions.

50. Are they a mystery, or an open book?

ok kind of went on a yap-fest for this one but the short answer is: i think they are all mysteries to themselves and to each other, while also accusing one another of being shallow and surface-level.

on the surface, evander is an arrogant, impulsive, self-centered, traitorous punk who destroyed his family and ran off, leaving them to pick up the pieces. big solas fan and it shows lol. and i think even HE would agree with that assessment and would not want to (let alone try to) dig any deeper than that to figure out why he is the way he is. but there are reasons. he was the first adopted son of the family, an elven ex-slave who actually remembers those first few childhood years under those conditions. as an elf he doesnt have matthas's privilege of going through life diplomatically and cleanly. he struggled to BE the oldest sibling that his family needed him to be because socially he could barely advocate for his own rights, let alone the rights of his family. and so that fell to matthas. who resented him for it.

and matthas on the other hand, is frequently grim, uncharismatic, obsessive and a bit of a suck-up to anyone he views (and respects) as a superior (this doesnt apply to systemic powers like the magisterium obviously, hes firmly against them). and all of these are true!!! this is OUTWARDLY the exact type of person you would ascribe him to be if you spent 5 minutes in a room with him lol. seeing the reasons why is harder. the constant anxiety of being one-big-brother-down and having to fill that vacancy by assuming the position of eldest. still being stuck in his shadow even so. losing whatever autonomy he'd had by attempting to pick up the slack and lastly (and most importantly), feeling so devoid of purpose because of having to revolve your life around Family that you pick up the first cause that makes you feel Strong and Independent - ie zealously serving the inquisition. i dont think either brothers would pick up on those reasons when arguing with one another. at least not until the events of veilguard anyway.

as for deia, the middle-child-forced-to-be-eldest (they all have three younger siblings who are not fighters and arent involved in the story lol) she's probably the most mysterious of the 3. she adopted the best qualities of both her brothers growing up - evanders passion and good humor and boldness, matthas's selflessness, his responsibility and dedication - but ultimately her personality is hard for an outsider to pin down because its hard for HERSELF to pin down. how does one begin to seperate Rook from The Rookery. engaging with her kind of feels like shes perpetually trying to make up for her OWN absence of personality. or maybe its better described as her trying to force her own personality to submit as she struggles to adjust to the roles shes been forced into. she knows evander and matthas are capable of great and terrible things, so why not be THEM instead of being the riskier and far less capable Her? it makes her into a pushover, kind to the point of complacency. someone who capitulates to the people around her to avoid conflict. none of those things she WANTS to be, but by datv shes essentially the point in which the two mirrors of her brother meet. theres too much going on to seperate the yolk from the white yknow.

my schedule as a seawing pearldiver

6:00 AM: wake up rather late to restock at the sea kingdom capital (im not telling you where it is)/OR a nearby town, having slept there overnight. visit all the stands and such, support local businesses. sell the pearls and whatever else i have to whoever buys it, or barter them away for dried fish.

8:00 AM: finish up, and then set out. i can pull the boat from the front using a harness. its rather bulky, but makes it much easier to carry things with me while im out at sea. plus, its a good landmark if any nosey skywings want to drop in and say hello.

9:00 AM: reach the peaceful part of the ocean. no dragons in sight. this is when i begin pearldiving. i drop the rope attached to my boat over the side, and dive under the water. its an extremely long (and rather colourful, since its dyed different hues) rope, so at times i tug it along with me if i need to. most the time i just leave it in place, tie the end of the rope to a piece of coral (i dont like doing that, because it can damage the coral) or shove it under a rock or something.

12:00 PM: usually rest at this point. sometimes i surface every 20 minutes to drop off pearls ive got with me, or other goodies that ive managed to find. some researchers pay a LOT for some old banged up cup i find upended in the sand.

12:30 PM: finish eating lunch. usually dried fish. i dont feel like hunting a lot of the time.

12:45 PM: hang about on my boat in the case that goshawk is on patrol that day. his outpost is sort of close to where i often go. being vague for his safety.

1:45 PM: if goshawk appears, i usually chat with him for an hour before he has to go back. maybe more.

4:00/5:00 PM: if goshawk doesnt show up, then continue pearl diving for another 3~ hours.

6:00 PM: eat dinner. once again, dried meat if i can get it. once, goshawk toasted a bobcat for me. tasted like ash, and also horrible.

7:00 PM: this depends. i either shore up and find a place to sleep on land (bad idea if im near the mud kingdom due to. you know. the war.), or i toss a sea-coloured blanket over my little boat and go sleep underwater and hope no one steals my stuff. its happened before. passing mudwing group got hungry. i wonder how they even made it that far out?? maybe its the power of friendship, or something.

8:30 PM: sleep. sometimes i go visit goshawk's outpost. he has wine. its pretty cool but makes swimming and flying impossible.

10:00 PM: sleep if i've been staying up with goshawk.

and thats it! often times i go restock one or twice a month, more if ive 'packed light', as they say. dunno who says it but someone does.

todays inciting incident was a shitty shitty halloween carnival that didnt even have the thing i was excited for, didnt have any food, had lines that were miles long (hyperbole), was too hot, and i only got 8 shitty halloween things from -- half of which were lollipops, with half of those just being the same 2 flavors but Again. we stayed for 2 hours before my mom decided she didnt wanna be out of the house anymore as usual. i cant be too mad at her because shes mentally ill in the direction of "i dont want to go anywhere because my anxiety will spike" but unfortunately im mentally ill in the direction of "if i cannot leave the house to Do Things at my own pace at least once a week i will fall into a deep depression" so we clash pretty bad most of the time. this was also following multiple minor inconveniences mind you. and was also trailed by multiple minor inconveniences. it just has not gone well. this halloween is just shaping up to suck bc i was supposed to have a whole party but we had money issues so it had to be cut down to just 2 people for a sleepover, then one of them went out to see his grandma in another state and the other is apparently in the fucking hospital right now??? at least according to his posts. and i cant blame them for these either! schedules conflict and sometimes you go to the Fuckig Hosital. its out of anyones control but it still feels like shit. so its looking like my only shot at having any fun this halloween is the trunk-or-treat at my school and idk if im even allowed to go bc i had to drop out for mental health reasons and they told me i wasnt allowed on school grounds anymore. idk if that applies here. which btw. way to make a depressed kid feel worse. you can NEVER come to this high school again or we'll ARREST YOU. fuckin bullshit.
