I would very much enjoy it if s5 introduced a queer coded guy in the first few eps and everyone just assumed that he's Will's new love interest and that after Mike rejects Will, then Will is going to get with this new guy..

But then the guy starts flirting with Mike instead.

And Will was happy to support Mike's relationship with his sister (who is now Mike's ex), but he is NOT going to let this random dude flirt with the love of his life!!!!!
