You thought you’d feel normal again after giving Jungkook a chance,
Maybe even smug about the way he’d screamed like an idiot after you said yes. But, no. The man-child has been unbearable since this morning.
“Yn… what do you think about sunsets? Romantic, right?”
You glance up from your laptop, watching Jungkook hover in the doorway to the living room, hands clasped behind his back like he’s about to pitch a PowerPoint presentation about sunsets.
“Uh… yeah?” You squint. “Why?”
He grins. “Just gathering intel.”
“Intel for what?”
You are pretty sure he’s about to do something really stupid like always.
“Oh, nothing.” His smile turns suspiciously smug. “You’ll see. Just dress cute tomorrow night.”
You stare blankly at him for a second before turning back to your work. “Right. That’s not concerning at all.”
First of all, you don’t trust him for shit.
Jungkook doesn’t respond, but you can feel him still watching you. His energy practically radiates off him. You ignore him for as long as you can, but after a full two minutes, you can’t take it anymore.
“Do you mind?” you snap, not looking up.
Can he get out already?
“I can’t help it,” Jungkook whines. “You’re so hot when you’re focused. Look at you typing away like a boss. Ugh.”
You throw a pen at him, and he dodges, laughing as he runs back into the living room.
You can’t lie, his compliments make you feel a lot more hotter, and yes, you are kind of hot.
•••
Later that evening, you catch him in the kitchen, leaning over the counter with his phone in one hand and a protein bar in the other. He’s muttering to himself like a man with a mission.
“No, no, too cliché. Flowers are boring. Chocolate? Nah, she doesn’t like sweet stuff… But what if she secretly does?”
It’s official he’s fucking crazy.
You cannot believe that he’s actually talking to himself, but you kind of find it cute, he’s adorable, but you won’t say that to his face.
“Talking to yourself again?” you ask, grabbing a glass of water.
Jungkook jumps, shoving his phone into his pocket. “Uh—no. Totally not planning anything.”
Your brow lifts. “You’re literally the worst liar I’ve ever met.” A smile threatens to break.
He pouts. “It’s called mystery, yn. Look it up.”
“Sure, Jeon. Whatever helps you sleep at night.”
As you head back to your room, you hear him mutter under his breath. “Mystery, huh? Yeah, I should add that to the date.”
•••
The next day, you’re already regretting giving him a chance. He’s been texting you all day with a mix of cryptic hints and straight-up nonsense.
And to be honest, he cannot type for shit.
Jk: do u like candles??? like…romantic ones
You: ?? sure i guess
Jk: got it
Jk: r u allergic to flowers??? asking for a friend
You: no. why.
Jk: just wondering. no reason. :)
Jk: YN CAN U WEAR THAT BLACK DRESS U LOOK SO GOOD IN PLS
You: ??????
Jk: or anything really. ur always hot. i love u btw.
This stupid fuck makes you smile so much.
By the time you get home, you’re exhausted. not from work, but from Jungkook’s constant existence. He’s waiting for you in the living room, dressed in a button-up shirt and black jeans, looking way too good for someone whose personality is 80% chaos and 20% football obsession.
“Why are you dressed like that?” you ask, dropping your bag on the floor.
Jungkook beams. “We’re going out! Duh. It’s date night, baby.”
“Date night?” you repeat, staring at him like he’s lost his mind. “I didn’t agree to that.”
“Yes, you did.” He crosses his arms. “Yesterday. When you said I could take you out. Ring a bell?”
It is sometimes fun to play dumb in front of him, you just like to test his patience a little bit.
“I didn’t think you’d plan it this fast.”
“What can I say? I’m efficient.” oh you know just how efficient he can be.
You sigh. “Fine. Give me twenty minutes.”
“Take your time, babe.” He grins, leaning against the doorframe as you walk past him. “Wear something sexy!”
What a shameless pervert but you will wear something nice nonetheless.
•••
Twenty-five minutes later, you’re sitting across from Jungkook at a rooftop restaurant. The view is gorgeous, the atmosphere is romantic, and Jungkook looks absolutely smug about the whole thing.
You’re honestly impressed, but seeing that smug smile on his face makes you want to strangle him, but damn, he outdid himself.
When it comes to Jeon Jungkook? You don’t really like to have high expectations of anything from him.
But he’s truly proved you wrong. Especially for a guy who doesn’t really do romance.
“So?” he says, resting his chin on his hand. “Am I killing it, or what?”
You roll your eyes. “You’ve done fine so far.”
“Fine?” He gasps, clutching his chest dramatically. “I’ll have you know this is the best date anyone has ever planned in the history of dates.”
You’re gonna gag at his exaggeration.
“Relax, Jeon. You’re doing fine,” you tease, hiding your smile behind your glass of water.
Jungkook watches you for a moment, his usual cocky expression softening. “You’re really pretty, yn.”
“Trust me, Jeon. I know that.”
A sarcastic laugh leaves you at his awe struck expression. “You’re just saying that because I agreed to go out with you.”
“No, I mean it.” He leans forward, his gaze serious now. “You’re gorgeous. And smart. And funny. And I’m honestly losing my mind trying to figure out how I got this lucky.”
Your stomach flips, and for once, you don’t have a snarky comeback.
But of course, Jungkook can’t let the moment last.
“And your tits look amazing in that dress,” he adds with a wink.
You throw a breadstick at him, and he catches it, laughing so hard the entire restaurant turns to stare.
He’s never going to change and maybe a small part of your hopes that maybe he won’t ever change
•••
Back at the house, Jungkook walks you to your door like the gentleman he absolutely is not.
“So?” he asks, stuffing his hands in his pockets. “Was I good enough for a second date?”
You smirk. “Maybe. If you promise not to mention my tits again.”
“No promises,” he says with a grin.
“Yn don’t be stupid. I’m just appreciating God’s masterpiece and you cannot stop me from doing that.”
You roll your eyes but can’t help smiling as you shut the door in his face.
“Goodnight, yn!” Jungkook yells through the door. “I love you!”
You groan, but your heart skips a beat anyway.
You hope that tomorrow morning he will be normal, but.. most importantly you hope that your heart will behave normally.

The crescent moon did nothing to light your path up toward the front porch of you and your longtime boyfriend’s shared home. In a slightly drunken haze, you stumbled over air, at one point having to lean against the fake cobwebbed railing that lead up to the door for a few moments just to gather your bearings.
Eventually you did make it safely to the door, which you went to unlock only to realize it hadn’t been locked for the night. You mumble a string of curses before opening it as quietly as possible. He may not have been asleep, but you weren’t prepared for him to know you were home just yet.
But, unfortunately, he was standing in the hallway that separated the entrance from the living room. You give him a lopsided sheepish smile, “hey…”
“It’s one in the morning.” He states simply, and from his tone you can tell he’s agitated. In all fairness, you had told him you’d be home thirty minutes ago.
“Yeah, sorry, the girls wanted ice cream before we went home.” You take off your stilettos that matched your costume perfectly, might you add, before flexing your feet to rid them of the pain the heels had given you.
Gavi’s arms are crossed over his chest, his face cocked to the side in annoyance. “Girls, and Matteo?”
Right. You gulped hard. You recognized that tone in his voice. It was the one get got when he wasn’t simply upset, he was jealous. You hated when he got jealous, he always shut down and shut you out.
“Baby, he showed up last minute.” You sigh, padding your way toward him. “I didn’t know he was going to be there.”
Gavi’s jaw ticks, “right. That’s what you said last time, and the time before that, and—“ Your hands resting on his forearms gently shut him up mid sentence, and you could tell it was taking a lot out of him not to shrug them off.
“Gavi, hon, it’s not like that.” You attempt to assure him, mentally taking a note to stop with the pet names. Every time one rolled off your tongue, his tongue made a quick appearance in the side of his cheek. “Please look at me?”
He denied you of that simple ask, his gaze zeroing in on a random portion of the wall beside the two of you. “I just don’t get why he has to show up every time you girls’ partners aren’t there! It’s weird.”
Tongue darting out to lick your lips, you’re suddenly aware of the fact that you’d almost instantly sobered up, and now the weariness was catching up to you. “Pablo. Look at me.” You finally huff, using your index finger to push his face in your direction.
Once he was finally looking at you, you frown. “Do you seriously not trust me or something?” A small, simple question, but seriously. He was getting worked up like he believed you’d actually cheat!
“Yes!” He practically laughs it out, his head shaking like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Hurt flashes across your face, making your boyfriend feel a twinge of guilt, but he doesn’t take it back. Even if he didn’t mean it.
Your head bobs slowly as you stuff the hurt back into your throat. “Oh. Wow, okay. That’s insane! But thanks, at least for once you’re honest.” You scoff, hands dropping to your sides.
“I mean, come on. This isn’t a coincidence! He’s always everywhere you are, and you never tell me! It’s like a secret you seem to enjoy so much, since you were giggling your whole way up to the door.” His hands fly up to his head, brushing over his hair to pull it back. They stay there as he looks at you, disappointment and anger evident on his face.
And something else. Something a little like insecurity.
“Oh lord.” You groan, “Pablo, I swear to fucking God, I was just drunk. I was giggling because I was drunk and trying to keep myself up. I don’t enjoy the fact that Matteo shows up, he just does and I don’t tell you because I know how you react!” You motion over his body with your hands. “Jealousy is not cute anymore, we’re twenty, not fifteen.”
It’s Gavi’s turn to roll his eyes. “Oh please.” He shakes his head in disbelief, a mocking laugh escaping his lips that only furthered you to get angrier. “Listen—“
“No. You listen.” You snap, finger pressing into his warm chest. “I want nothing to do with Matteo because I love you. I wouldn’t even want anything to do with him if I didn’t! You’re insecure and jealous and you not trusting me after three years together, well, it hurts.” When you finish, you feel all the energy that you once held, deplete. You needed a hot shower and good nights sleep as soon as possible.
But you hated to go to bed with unresolved anger, so you stay there, waiting for a reply that never comes.
Gavi stands in front of you, his face fallen as his eyes flicker across your face. He just nods, running a hand across his jaw as he exhales slowly.
Having enough of the whole situation, you give in. “If it makes you feel better, the next time he shows up, I will leave.” You didn’t want to fight anymore, you just wanted to go to bed.
Your boyfriend’s eyes soften, “that’s not—no. You shouldn’t leave early because of him, or me, I just want you to communicate these things. Is that too much to ask?” He reaches out to you, wiping a piece of the fake cobwebs off your sleeve.
You watch the motion while nodding. “Okay, I can do that. Sorry.”
“I’m sorry too.” He purses his lips. “Please go shower before bed, you reek of alcohol.”
Nodding you turn in the direction of your bedroom, but Gavi’s hand on your bicep stops you. Turning to him, you’re met with a guilt ridden expression. “And, I do trust you, I was just pissed off. I didn’t mean that, I promise.”
Without saying anything in response, you nod twice in understanding, and make your way toward the bedroom.

LOVERS LANE || CHOI SAN

ENJOY!
''Babe, she won't eat the salad I made,'' San pouted. You looked at your daughter and laughed at the sulky faces both she and your husband made. ''San, honey, she's two. Most two year olds do not eat salad.'' ''But she has to try it! I made it with love,'' San sulked. ''Nabi knows what she wants and what she doesn't want is eating your salad. Instead she wants to eat mommy's sandwiches, right sweetie?''
Nabi happily took one of the small sandwiches in her hand and ate it as she continued to play with her dolls. San sighed and leaned back, letting the early spring sunrays hit his skin. You admired him for a second, drowning in his immaculate beauty.
You were so lucky to have him, you thought. He was always so kind and gentle with you, making sure you were okay and he was so funny. San won over your heart in no-time and now a few years later here you were: sitting on a blanket in a beautiful meadow in April.
''I brought a drink, to celebrate our anniversary,'' San smiled, reaching for the little champagne bottle in his bag. You bit your lip to hold back a giggle but he noticed. ''What is it?'' San asked. ''Well I can't drink that...''
''Oh, honey I know champagne is not your favourite but this one is really good actually, it's from France and it's very sweet and bubbly and you definitely need to try it becau-''
''Sannie, I'm pregnant.''
He gasped and paused, looking into your eyes to detect some kind of prank-situation, but it was true. You smiled widely as you placed your hand on your stomach. Nabi showed no reaction - probably not knowing what it even meant to be pregnant - but San's eyes were filled with tears of joy.
''You are pregnant? Really?'' he asked, unsure. ''I am, sweetie. Five weeks actually,'' you explained, holding his hand. ''Oh wow, darling this is... Incredible. We're having another baby? Baby number two?'' You laughed and nodded, ''Baby number two!''
San started laughing and he hugged you tight. ''You're pregnant!'' ''Mommy pregit?'' ''Pregnant, honey,'' San repeated, ''You know what that means?'' Your daughter shook her head no. ''This means you're getting a sibling... A little brother or a little sister... In 8 months mommy and daddy are having another baby,'' San explained.
''Sibling?'' Nabi said, eyes widening. A smile played on her small pink lips and she let out a giggle. ''Yes honey, you'll have a little brother or sister to play with, how's that?'' you asked, taking her in your lap. ''Fun!'' she exclaimed, giving you a hug.
You kissed her head and held her, remembering what it was like when Nabi was born. She was born a few weeks early and you were very worried about it, but San assured you that she would be fine because he was born early too and the Choi family only has fighters, so she'd be a fighter too. San didn't lie because Nabi was a true fighter, growing up well.
Immediately you knew that San and Nabi were very much alike. She gets sulky if things go wrong, she laughs a lot with her uncles and she's very determined. You knew that she'd be in good hands with San as a father but you had no idea how incredibly devoted he'd be. Even if it came to playing with her he'd go all the way; joining her teaparty Thursday's and playing with her dolls. It was so endearing you thought you'd burst.
For a while you just laid in his arms, Nabi happily playing in your lap. The nice spring breeze was calming and so relaxing. ''I can't believe it,'' San said after a while of cuddling, ''We'll have two babies to love... How lucky are we?'' ''The luckiest people on earth, darling.''

𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒
synopsis: in which you friendzone them to protect your feelings, ignorant to the way they feel about you
characters: diluc, xiao, and kaveh x gn! reader (separately)
warnings: angst to fluff, reverse hurt/comfort, , slight swearing (i think), mentions of alcohol/ being drunk, spoilers for kaveh’s backstory, kaveh’s part is actually so long i’m so sorry
notes: got the idea for this out of the blue, but really liked it! i had a lot of fun writing these and would honestly be down to make a part two if you guys want it. also kaveh’s part was written before he was officially released this patch, so if anything is inaccurate, i apologize!
Tumblr media
Diluc:
When Diluc had asked you to attend an event at his house in honor of the winery, you hadn’t expected it to be so extravagant. Though, perhaps it was because it was the first time you had ever been to his house. Either way, you were in awe at the sheer luxuriousness everything seemed to possess.
“Wow, I seriously cannot believe you’ve never invited me to your house before,” you tease as your eyes glanced around the room. The dining table was huge and lined with various dishes you didn’t even know existed. Not to mention what the entire house looked like in general. You were too scared to touch anything in fear of it breaking.
“I did invite you over — several times, if you can recall. But according to you, you’re just so busy you never have the time,” the red haired male corrected you as he moved slightly behind you to guide you across the room, shoulders bumping together every so often.
“Well if I had known you were living like this maybe I would’ve made the time,” you joked, intentionally bumping your shoulder into his as you threw a smile toward him. His eyes averted themselves from your face and smiled off into the distance, completely ignoring your jests about his wealth.
The two of you had continued to joke around with each other playfully as he walked you around his house to give you a tour of sorts. You had noticed all the people around as you walked, all laughing and enjoying the delicious food and wine Diluc had provided. Even Kaeya was here, you noted to your own surprise, seemingly catching up with some of the maids.
“Oh, I almost forgot, there’s someone I’d like you to meet,” Diluc interrupted your moment to observe. His hand moved to the lower half of your back to guide you in the direction of blonde haired woman in maid attire. Your hand shook hers as Diluc introduced her to you, “This is Adelinde, the head housemaid of the winery.”
You smiled and told her your name, “It’s a pleasure to meet you, I’m Diluc’s best friend.”
“Oh,” she said strangely, as if you had said something wrong. Almost seamlessly, Adelinde covered up her tone as she spoke again, “Ahem, it’s a pleasure to meet you as well. Please do enjoy yourselves tonight and let me know if you need anything.”
Diluc cleared his throat and put his hand around your shoulders as you said your goodbyes. Although, the second she was out of your sights, he dropped it, “So, how about some food?”
You hesitated, sensing something was wrong. His smile looked stiff, like it wasn’t quite reaching his eyes. You could almost sense desperation within his tone, like he didn’t want you to start your usual interrogation when you thought something was wrong, “Oh um, sure.”
He walked you over to the table standing next to your side, but didn’t dare to put a hand on you like usual. It wasn’t something you often paid any attention toward, but now it just felt weird — cold even.
“I’ll go grab you some fresh wine from the cellar, take whatever you’d like,” Diluc said quickly before rushing away. Your brow furrowed as you watched him disappear from your sight.
“What’s with the frown?” a silk voice asked. Your eyes snapped up to meet the blue haired man you knew to be Diluc’s brother, Kaeya.
“Long time no see, Kaeya,” you said, turning your attention back to the food as you served yourself a plate. Kaeya grabbed one too and began filling it as well.
“Oh, you should try these, they’re delicious,” he said as he placed a small dessert on your plate, “but don’t tell Diluc I said that. Can’t have him thinking I like his baking or anything.”
He continued as he grabbed himself another glass of wine off the table next to the food, “Anyway, what’s up with the gloom expression? Don’t tell me Diluc hurt your feelings?”
“No,” you grumble. It had been awhile since you had last seen Kaeya. Not that it was on purpose, because honestly, you never had a problem with him like Diluc did. Time just didn’t seem to allow the two of you to meet aside from a few times a year. “If anything, it was the other way around. Problem is, I don’t know what I did.”
“Well if it’s any consolation, Diluc is very fond of y—“
“Kaeya. Leave them alone,” Diluc interrupts with an annoyed look, shooing Kaeya away. Kaeya leaves without a word. A sly expression was on his face, hoping you would catch on to what he was trying to tell you.
Diluc held the bottle of wine in front of him, silently offering you some. You nodded your head and he poured you a glass before making another excuse to walk off again. The same thing seems to happen a few more times before you reach the end of the night. What had started off as a fun event for the two of you to enjoy, seemed to trickle into nothing but misery for the both of you.
The walk home was quiet. Honestly, you weren’t even sure why he had offered to walk you home if he was just going to stay silent the entire time, “You didn’t have to walk me home if you’re just gonna have to walk all the way back, y’know?”
“It’s fine,” he said curtly, not even making eye contact with you, “I have to go to Angel’s Share anyway. There’s some paperwork I have to pick up.”
“Oh.”
It’s silent again for the next ten minutes of the walk. It isn’t until you’re approaching the bridge to the city that you speak up again, “Diluc?”
“Yeah?”
You sighed and stopped walking, “Listen…did I maybe, I don’t know, say or do something to upset you? Because if I did, I’m really sorry and I just want things to not be awkward between us.”
You could tell he was contemplating not answering you by the frustrated expression on his face. His mouth opened and closed a few times before he finally spoke, still staring somberly off into the distance, “Answer this honestly. What are we? What is this?” His hands gestured between you and him as he spoke. His tone is rushed and there’s bitterness behind it.
“Well, we’re friends…aren’t we?” you carefully asked, almost questioning yourself.
“That’s the problem,” Diluc finally cracked, “I don’t want to be just friends. This entire time I thought that maybe there was something more than that between us…but I suppose I was wrong.”
Your eyes widened and your hands moved to grip tightly around his own before he could walk away from you again, “Why didn’t you say anything? I could’ve told you I felt the same if you had just, I don’t know? Said something about it? How was I supposed to know you had feelings for me?”
“I’m sorry, what? So you do feel the same way?”
You put two and two together and a teasing smiled made it’s way back to your face,“Archons, was this all because I introduced myself as your best friend to Adelinde?”
“What? No, of course not,” Diluc adamantly denied your accusation. He grabbed your hand and began to pull you away while you burst out laughing at the realization, “You’ve had too much to drink.”
“No! I barely drank anything, you liar,” you punched his shoulder, “Admit it, you were upset you got friendzoned and —“
Diluc turned around swiftly, pulled you toward him and placed his lips on yours within a matter of seconds, effectively shutting you up. His fingers interlocked with yours as he pulled away and began to walk you to your house. When you arrived at your doorstep, you turned around and placed one final kiss on his lips.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, okay?” you smiled. Diluc looked away again, failing to resist the smile that tugged at his lips. It was the first time Diluc had been genuinely happy in a long time.
He smiled as he turned away from your house to leave, “Yeah, see you tomorrow.”

Xiao:
Xiao felt his heart racing when he heard your voice calling his name from somewhere in Liyue. Somewhere he couldn’t pinpoint. There was pain in it, and Xiao hated when you said his name in any way that wasn’t positive.
“Xiao! Please,” he heard you call out again, this time more pained than the last. The sound of your cries echoed in his ears and a feeling of his own pain surrounded his heart.
A few seconds longer and you could’ve ended up dead. It’s all Xiao could think about when he finally made it to you, heavily breathing in and out from how scared he was to lose you.
You were covered in bruises and bathed in blood — whether or not it was your own, he wasn’t sure. Your eyes were half shut and your head was leaned back in relief at the sight of him. Several abyss mages of varying elements lie dead on the ground around you. Your polearm lay amongst them, cracked in half and dented all over.
Xiao spotted your vision a few feet away, anemo like his own. He gathered it quickly alongside your polearm before securing it on him so he could pick you up. Once his arms were wrapped carefully around you, he didn’t hesitate to teleport away and back to the inn.
“Here, lay down,” he spoke curtly. You watched through half-lidded eyes as he moved across the room to fetch his medical supplies. This wasn’t the first time he had to treat your injuries, but it wasn’t often that it was this bad.
Xiao worked quickly with your injuries, it was effortless and he was careful not to hurt you. Unbeknownst to you, his heart was racing out of control the entire time. Not only was there left over anxiety from when you had first called for him, but it had carried over and made itself at home as he worked away at your injuries. There was too much red oozing out of your body and the bruises were only growing.
What if he hadn’t gotten there on time? What if he was only a few seconds later? What if he hadn’t heard you call out for him?
“Archons, I am feeling so much better,” you interrupted his poisonous thoughts. Your leg was lifted into the air as you inspected the bandages wrapped around it and all the bloodied rags that sat beside you on the floor.
Xiao’s eyes hardened for a moment while looking over you, an unreadable expression within them, “Please do not get injured like this again.”
Contrary to his eyes, yours softened and you took his hand in yours, “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to worry you, I just—“
“It’s fine,” he cut you off when he began to feel weird, not used to people caring about his feelings. Xiao helped you up and out of the bed, his arms wrapped around yours to keep you stable as he walked you to the bathroom counter to finally change out of your bloodied clothes.
Your face was close to his as you spoke, “No, Xiao, really. I can’t thank you enough for all the times you’ve helped me out and even allowed me to help you. You just mean so much to me and I’m so lucky to have you as a friend.”
‘So lucky to have you as a friend’
It echoed in his mind over and over again, more than the voices of his late yaksha friends. For once, another source of pain had finally outmatched his past.
You didn’t see him how he saw you.
Xiao felt his body go cold at the realization. He remained oddly silent as he helped you to the bathroom, not even bothering to give you a response or so much as a simple nod. As soon as you were actually in the bathroom, he backed up immediately and nodded before mumbling something about needing to take care of some other stuff. He had even disappeared before you could utter a goodbye.
Not returning for hours was something you were used to when it came to Xiao. He wasn’t social at all, and that was something you readily accepted when you first offered to become friends with him — even if he declined over and over again.
But hours turned into days and days turned into a week. Xiao hadn’t returned since that night you were injured.
You weren’t sure what happened to him. Maybe he was hurt while out protecting, or maybe he was just in one of those weird social slumps again. But when Xiao finally ran into you one day, it was undeniably awkward between the two of you.
“Xiao?” you urgently called out to him, a mix of worry and shock in your voice, “Hey, are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” he replied bluntly, eyes barely looking at yours. He looked as if he wanted to be anywhere but there.
You squinted your eyes, analyzing him carefully, “That’s it? I haven’t seen you for a week! I get injured and then all of the sudden you just freak out and leave? It doesn’t make any sense. Listen, if something happened, you can tell—“
“Nothing happened. I said I’m fine,” he cut you off before turning his body and grabbing his polearm, ready to teleport off like he always did. You quickly grabbed his arm before he could though, a tight grip that wasn’t painful but made sure he couldn’t escape.
“Let go.”
“No.”
“Ugh, could you stop holding my hand like that.”
“Huh?” Your phase morphed into shock, confused as to why he suddenly cared about you holding his hand. You’d done it in the past, so it wasn’t like it was anything new to him. Besides, you were always careful not to do anything to freak him out.
“If we are just friends, then I do not want you holding my hand like that,” Xiao said before pulling his hand from yours with a harsh sigh.
“Wait, what?” you asked quickly before he could leave, “What does this have to do with us being friends?”
Xiao stared blankly at you for a few seconds, like he was contemplating whether or not he should speak again, until finally, he confessed, “The other day…you thanked me for being such a good friend. That is not what I want.”
A pang hit your chest and a tiny prick rippled behind your eyes at his confession, “You don’t want to be friends anymore?”
“Huh? Why would you think such idiotic things? No— I mean yes, I do want to be your friend. But I do not want to be…just friends,” Xiao explained. His cheeks were beginning to turn red and his eyes averted even more. He was nervous, you finally realized.
“You…you have feelings for me? Xiao, you should’ve told me. Avoiding me for a week straight wasn’t cool, you know?”
Xiao nods and crosses his arms, seemingly unsatisfied with your answer until you added on, “I have feelings for you too. I really like you, Xiao. I didn’t mean to make you feel like you were just a friend, but I also didn’t want to make you uncomfortable or scare you off or something.”
“It’s okay,” he said quietly, barely above a whisper. His hand twitched before it quietly reached for your own and took it in his. His grip was firm, like he was scared you would leave.
“Xiao?” You grabbed his attention when you noticed his eyes falter, like he still couldn’t quite grasp the reality of your feelings.
“Yes?”
“I really like you, okay? I don’t want you to ever think otherwise.”

Kaveh:
“Kaveh! Look at this!” your smile lit up as you dragged Kaveh toward a merchant selling various little trinkets. Kaveh willingly followed, idiotically smiling behind you at your childlike excitement. His hand tightly gripped around yours to ensure you wouldn’t go too far or get separated from him.
The two of you had decided to take a greatly needed break after working for hours upon hours each day for the past two weeks on a shiny new blueprint for a brand new Akademiya research center in the desert. The complications of what the research required versus the heat in the desert and its effect on the lab materials was making it difficult to come up with a practical, yet complex enough lab for the researchers. The headache it had brought upon the two of you was no joke, and you had finally realized that a break was the only thing that would get you through the block you were collectively stuck in.
“Hello, dears,” the old woman spoke gently, a bright smile on her face that perfectly creased her eyes. She had an immensely warm aura to her and you couldn’t help but match her smile. Kaveh glanced to you, a small smile gracing his own face as his cheeks turned slightly pink. He couldn’t help it after he saw how good you looked today.
“So,” you started, eyes bouncing around to each and every item she had to sell, “How long has your shop been open? Everything here looks so beautiful!”
“Oh, why thank you, dear! It’s been open for nearly two decades now. It is indeed strange to see how much time has passed,” she answered happily, reminiscing on the early days of her shop. She had told you how she opened it with her husband, but how he had long since passed, to which Kaveh and you had offered your respects.
Your eyes danced over all the trinkets again, but you couldn’t help but notice the little figurines that looked like creatures from your childhood. You couldn’t quite place where you knew them from, but you picked it up regardless and fidgeted with it before turning to Kaveh, “I think I’m gonna get this one, what do you think?”
“It’s cute,” he said with a gentle smile, admiring the little blue plant like figure in your hand, “I think I’ll get one in red.”
You finished paying the kind woman for your purchases and thanked her dearly once the two of you were done. The conversation had continued a little while afterward, with both you and Kaveh intrigued in the stories she kindly shared with you.
The sun was beginning to near its setting time, you noticed. The blues were fading to oranges and reds and the air was beginning to get a little colder, signaling the night was on its way.
“Thank you again,” you told her, “These are really nice, I’ll be sure to place them in my workroom so I can see it everyday!”
“Oh, that’s awfully kind of you, dear. I must say, I admire the way you treat everyone as your friend. It’s truly a rare quality to find in someone these days,” she gushed.
“Thank you! I really just try to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome,” you explained before you said your goodbyes. The woman said her goodbyes too, telling the two of you to visit her again sometime soon and tell her all about the architectural work you guys do.
Kaveh nearly stopped in his tracks as he processed the conversation the two of you just had. You hadn’t even caught the hesitation in his voice or the sudden change in his mood.
You treat everyone like that?
“Ugh, she was so nice, wasn’t she?” you rambled, but Kaveh was only half listening. Not that you had noticed that either.
“Oh, uh, yeah!” he blurted out, not entirely sure that he had even heard you correctly. His eyes followed the pattern of his shoes pressing against the floor as he swung the bag next to him back and forth, lost in thought. You didn’t question him once.
It was quiet for the rest of the walk aside from you announcing that you were tired and were going to check in for the night. Kaveh had agreed and walked you home all while hoping that you wouldn’t notice his sudden quietness.
If Kaveh was being honest, his brain felt like it was spiraling out of control.
One moment he’s walking around with you all day, enjoying his time off. And the next, he can’t stop replaying a silly conversation with an old woman who he barely knew.
The worst part is, he couldn’t help but take it personally. Being treated like he was on a pedestal and then having it ripped away is something Kaveh is used to, but he never thought he would have to go through it with you.
You made him feel special, like one of a kind. The way your eyes always lit up so brightly when you greeted him at work everyday. The way you hugged him when you were feeling down and no one else. The way you always treated him to food and drinks without ever asking him to pay you back because you knew he was struggling — and not once did you ever make him feel bad about it. The way you would jump to hold his hand when you got excited about something or when you were scared when lightning would strike.
You never did any of those things with anyone else. But all this time, you made everyone feel like they were your friend, like they were special in their own way. For all he knew, you did little things like that with everyone and made them feel like one of a kind too. Maybe Kaveh was nothing, he thought, maybe he was really just like everyone else. Just your friend and nothing more.
Kaveh bowed his head to his chest when he arrived home, his hand leaned forward to support himself as he felt the tears coming on. Being emotional or overdramatic was something Alhaitham had always criticized him for, but you? You always taught him to embrace it and let what he was feeling out. You had helped him with so much of his life and moving on toward bigger and better things, but now he couldn’t help but feel bitterness in his heart.
The keys in the blonde’s hand returned back to his pocket almost immediately after retrieving them. His palm dragged down the gray wall of Alhaitham’s house and back to his side. Kaveh couldn’t bear to enter his own home, not at this hour with such painful thoughts in his mind. Alhaitham would probably nag him anyway, and he really didn’t feel like dealing with his cruel words tonight — and Kaveh never liked when they were about you. You didn’t deserve that, even if it was just a joke.
And so he returned to the tavern once more in his life. Drinking away his problems was unhealthy, you had told him, but right now he didn’t care. You weren’t here and there was no one around to stop him from throwing back drink after drink. It had been a long time since Kaveh had been truly drunk, but today was enough to turn him away from sobriety.
“Kaveh. Get up.” A voice echoed painfully in his ears.
“[Name]?” he mumbled out incoherently as he blindly reached toward the figure in front of him. Their hand swatted his away before swooping under to pick him up. Kaveh mumbled your name a few more times, desperately trying to figure out what was happening.
“Why are you at the Tavern, Kaveh? Have you not learned your lesson about drinking?”
Oh. That’s who it was. Kaveh should have known by the sharpness in the voice or the annoying familiarity it held.
“Alhaitham? Get off of me,” he tried pushing the Scribe away. Alhaitham didn’t budge as he slammed a few bills on the table and carried Kaveh out of the Tavern. Lambad waved him off, but thanked him for taking care of the architect.
Your name continued to slur from his mouth, blending together into what almost sounded like gibberish. Not to mention the near beating Alhaitham had endured as he carried Kaveh around Sumeru.
You, on the other hand, hadn’t expected a knock at your door at nearly two in the morning.
“Alhaitham? What’s going on? Why do you have Kaveh?” you quickly questioned. Alhaitham shoved Kaveh toward you, a pained groan falling from his lips as he fell into you. The Scribe explained the situation to you. How he had never seen Kaveh come home that night, but later found him at Lambad’s Tavern drinking himself to death as he cried to the sound of your name.
You could only muster a silent nod out, confused but entirely willing to take care of Kaveh. You cared a lot for him after all. Alhaitham had shown himself out afterward, telling you to drop him back off tomorrow so he won’t bother you too much with all his whining. You breathed out a strained laugh and then shut the door before you turned your attention back to Kaveh and helped him to your couch.
“Kaveh?” you asked gently as you tucked a blanket over his shivering body. Teary red eyes stared back at you blankly, refusing to answer. You sighed and then nodded, accepting he may not have been willing to tell you anything. And although you had never outright admitted it, drunk Kaveh was not someone you enjoyed dealing with, “If you don’t tell me what’s wrong, I can’t help you.”
“It doesn’t matter. You can’t help me anyway,” he scoffed and turned away like a child who just got told they couldn’t have their favorite toy. You wanted to say your patience was wearing thin, but honestly, you could never truly be mad at Kaveh.
“Kaveh.”
It was silent for a moment. You could only see about half of Kaveh’s face as he buried the other half in the side of the couch with his hair covering parts of his eyes. The quiver of his lip, however, was not amiss to you. Neither was the quiet sniffle or the tears that gently slid down his face.
“It’s nothing,” he whispered to you, voice cracking as a hand quickly moved to his mouth to muffle his cries. He hoped you didn’t hear, but he knew you weren’t stupid.
“It’s not nothing. You’re hurt, Kaveh,” you rubbed his back. Kaveh leaned into your touch and brought his head up to meet your eyes.
Teary eyes stared into yours and he sighed before speaking, giving into you like he wished he always could have, “I thought I was more than just a friend to you. But I was stupid and I realized today that I’m not any more special than anyone else. You treat me just like you treat everyone else because you’re so kind and caring and— Archons, I am so stupid to believe that we were ever more than that.”
Kaveh paused before he spoke again, voice shakier than before, “I really don’t want you to leave, but I get it if you want to or if you don’t want to be friends anymo—”
Your lips were on his before he could finish his sentence. When you pulled back, you noticed his eyes widened like he had sobered up all at once, “You are special to me, Kaveh. I’m so sorry if I made you feel like you weren’t.”
Kaveh smiled as a few more tears spilled out of his eyes, “You really mean it?”
“With my whole heart.”

“Wait, you’re a what?”
“Please don’t make a big deal out of this,” Seokmin whines seeing how hard you try to hold back your laughter.
“I can’t believe you’re a virgin. Wow, at your grown age.” You wipe away your unshed tears before setting a hand on his shoulder in a kinly manner. “Oh baby boy Minnie, you cannot just lay this on me and expect me not to do anything.”
“In my defense, I wasn’t trying to let you know.”
“Well, we’re going out tonight.”
You hadn’t known Seokmin for long, but as far as you can tell, he’s as good as these guys can get. It shouldn’t have surprised you as much as it did, but it was very hard to believe considering what a good guy he is. He’s such a textbook good guy that you had a hard time believing it. No one was that nice. He had you convinced he was two-faced at one point, but nope. Seokmin is merely just Seokmin. And maybe that was his problem.
“How about her?” you ask subtly nodding at a girl from across the bar.
“Are we really doing this?”
You tsk at the young man before asking sizing the girl up. Acting no better than a man, you pick apart mentally why she’d be a potential candidate. Eventually, you shake your head the moment you see she is being tended to by what looks to be a girlfriend of her own before you move on to the next available person with a heartbeat.
“Oh my god, wait, her! She’s perfect.” You clap to yourself momentarily and push him in her direction, reminding him what you’ve taught him. “Go, go. Compliment her shoes, or ask what she’s drinking!”
A look of discomfort is apparent on his face but he goes off in that direction anyway, stalking the target as you leisurely sipped your cosmo. It seemed to go well for a while–watching a smile on her face as they talk–but that mood takes a turn when she gets up to leave and not alongside Seokmin. When he returns to you, he’s unsure what went wrong but you reassure him the night is still young and there are plenty of opportunities for him to make a connection.
Encounter after encounter, drink after drink, none have stuck around and in the end, he retreats back to you all the same. You expel an exaggerated sigh as you cross your arms seeing him strike out a sixth time in a row. Even after all the rejection, he doesn’t seem too offended by it, leisurely sipping his watered-down cocktail. You narrow your eyes back at him, seeing him blink back like a lost lamb. “You’re not trying, are you?”
“I don’t want to even be here.”
You shake your head, pinching the skin between your eyebrows as you took a deep sigh. “I thought you wanted to know what it felt like.”
“Of course I do, but this isn’t it.” He pulls his stool from underneath him closer to you. He set his finished drink aside for the bartender to take and slouches his shoulders. “Let’s just go home. This is no way to do this.”
And like that, a lightbulb flickered in your head until it bursts with endless luminosity. “We should go home. Because you’re gonna do it with me.”
You drag him by the wrist and immediately go hail a taxi, flailing your arms like a psychopath until one was desperate enough for cash to take you.
“Are you drunk?” Seokmin asks in bemusement. “Why the hell would we of all people do that?”
“Why the hell not? I’m flexible. I can take my leg all the way up to my shoulder.”
Seokmin’s jaw slightly drops upon hearing that, picturing that, before shaking out the words from his head and realizing too late he’s joining you in a cab. “Not the point. Why are you willing to help me by going that far?”
You look at him with a stern face before shushing him with your free hand and turning to the driver with your address. You finally arrive back at your apartment, paying the driver before getting out of the car and dragging him up the flights of stairs.
“You still haven’t answered me,” his voice echoes in the building fixtures, booming louder than usual. “And slow down, will you?”
“Walk faster.”
Entering your apartment, you realize this is the first time he’s been in here. You realize it’s the first time anyone’s been in here. You toss your keys aside and offer Seokmin a drink. He sounds off a decline and takes in the gravity of this situation as he’s scanning your residence. “Your place is nice.”
You grin, tugging him to your side again, and drag him to the couch to immediately straddle his lap abruptly. “Thank you. I like to think I’m settled in by now.”
“Are we actually doing this?”
You smooth your pal over his shoulders, your smile picking up from one side. “You don’t seem entirely against it.” You press down on the grown erection under you, a soft groan leaving his lips.
“Of course not, little Seokmin barely has a mind of his own—“
You squint. “You call him little Seokmin—“
“Besides the point, don’t listen to him. He’s only thinking of one thing.”
“Sounds like me and him are on the same page, now all we need is you. Tell me why we shouldn’t, Seokmin,” You say as you start grinding down on his toned, firm thigh. You watch his face contort in interest, submission, succumbing to your advances. Your hand trails over his cheek, noting how his breath hitches when your fingertips tap against his neck. “While I give every reason why we should.”
He shakes his head, almost in disbelief. “Y/n—shit, this is such a b-bad idea.”
“That’s not a reason, Seokmin.”
“I could do something wrong.”
“Which is why I’d teach you, baby.”
He blinks back at you frantically, his cock straining in his pants until it hurts. He looks so pliable and pretty, it takes everything in you to keep the pace slow. At a moment’s notice, your hand thread through his hair and pulls his head back. He softly whimpers, eyes struggling to stay on you as your lips made their way down his jaw, then his neck, before closing your lips around his adam’s apple.
Seokmin holds down his pants to keep from poking you, and uses his shallows breath to distract him from your lewd gestures. He realizes how ineffective as your hips dip into his, pushing against his cock, and a groan leaves his lips like live pornography. It physically moves you to the point you’re determined to hear more.
“Tell me, Seok. What can I do to convince you?”
“Apparently, not much,” he mumbles with a harsh blush against his cheeks and ears, struggling underneath you, “Why do you want this?”
“Me?” You push his head back up to meet his eyes. “I just had a sudden hankering for virgin pretty boys. Is that a good enough reason?”
“...Ok, I-I think so–” and your lips meet his, pressing into his body and letting it naturally melt around him.
His hands claim home reluctantly around your body, feeling the soft texture of your back over your shirt before caressing it tenderly. His other arm loops around your hips, discovering how perfectly it hugs your body close to his as follows your languid movement in the kiss. It scratches a part of his brain to hear you moan the way you did, he feels himself kissing you deeper, needier.
Seokmin’s body slouches underneath yours, gripping your thighs until he was squished at his waist and gradually his hips move on their own against you. His cock bumps against your throbbing cunt repeatedly until he’s practically drilling against you. Your voice, sultry yet delicate, burns in his ears, turning them a vibrant scarlet and suddenly he’s lifting you with your body tightly wound to him and pushed into the cushions of the couch.
You let out a startled gasp, not having predicted such action and his body is relentlessly against yours against you, digging into you, taunting you, ruining you. “You, t-tease.”
Seokmin acts as if he doesn’t hear, as if he can only focus on how good it feels for his cock to rub against you right now. His body rolls against you enough that you can feel the friction of the zipper on your clit, making you writhe underneath him.  His kisses grow hungrier, tongue traveling inside you like he’s starved for every morsel. It’s pure animal instinct. So pure and primal, he’s convinced he’ll cum right then and there, but practices self-restraint. If he’s learned one thing from satisfying his own urges, it’s patience.
Your legs wrap around him, pushing him closer, the sensual noises you make only make him fall deeper, making him weaker.
“Put it in me…” you cry, “I want your cock fuck so deep inside me. Please, Seokmin…”
Seokmin finds the word “no” to be impossible at this point, but he can’t help but still feel anxious at the idea of it happening. “Hold on.” He procures his wallet from his back pocket before taking out the condom you planted earlier in there for him and sets it aside on the coffee table. “I’m sure you want your clothes off, yeah?”
His hand comes at the hem of his long sleeve before it over and off his body, revealing a body you’ve only ever seen in sports catalogs. You’re so stunned at the clear concaves and curves of his abs and pecs, you barely grasp that he’s helping you with your shirt off. His hand smooths over your frame as he’s kissing over your chest, moving against you again to distract you from your request moments ago.
He slips your pants between your bodies, hearing it hit the ground, and replicates that movement with his own pants, now only the barrier of your underwear stopping you. He swallows noticing the giant stain right where the center of your core is. “It’s so…wet.”
“Yeah, it’s what you’ve been doing to me.”
He ravels you like it's a delicate process, slipping down the sides of your panties until over your legs and off your body to have your bare pussy, glossy from all the arousal, twitching at the sight. It fuels something in him. “Shit…”
“Do it…put it in me…”
He swallows again, knowing his little Seokmin badly wants what you want, so what is he stalling for? He shut his eyes, taking in deep breaths. “Okay…”
“Don’t be scared…I’ll only bite if you want me to. Take out your cock for me.”
Just as slowly as he has done you, his briefs come down achingly slow, but reveal the perfectly big cock ready for the taking it. You marvel at it, drool forming at the corner of your lips, your clench and unclench your fist before darting for his girth. However, you are prevented from doing so by Seokmin himself, feeling the tremble in his hands. “I-I’ll do it. I just–”
“You don’t have to be nervous, Seokmin. It’s just me.”
“That’s exactly why I am nervous.”
“But why–ah, ah, shit.”
You feel him ease into you, the stretch of his cock was deafening with every mouth-watering inch. He takes light strokes as a test, plunging his fat cock into you like nothing while you bite your bottom lip, eyes flicking to the back of your skull.
“Wait, shit, the condom.”
You shake your head. “Don’t bother. I rather we didn’t anyway. Fuck, you’re so big.”
“Am I?” He asks pumping in you in a concise rhythm. “That feel good? Am I doing it right?”
You softly moan, clenching around him as you absorb the soft, careful tone in his words. “Yes, Minnie, but deep for me, please. Do what feels natural. Use me like your toy.”
“O-okay.”
He takes your advice and down pushes in deeper, groaning at the sensation as he picks up the speed. “Fuck…”
“Shit, that’s unreal.” You whine, “Faster, Seok. I said to use me.”
He listens as he’s fucking you faster, harder. He clutches the flesh of your ass cheeks, spreading you open. Your body stiffens, hands over his knuckles as you follow him. “Yes, like that. Fuck.”
He’s barely comprehensible in his grunts, truly seeing you as a thing to fuck that he just knows will make him insufferable. “Your. Pussy’s. So. Good.”
“Yeah, you like that Minnie? You like splitting my raw pussy open with your fat fucking cock?”
He nods gingerly.“Yes. I. Do. Shit. Pussy’s. So. Wet. Good. Around. Cock.” He folds into you, pressing his chest against yours and kissing your lips to swallow your moans. “That. Feel. Good?”
“So good, baby. Give it to me more, baby.”
“More? More?”
He pounds you harder, biting your lips as his hand roams down to find your clit. You moan like a stupid slut at that but take a moment of bemusement to wonder where the hell that came from. “W-where? How?”
“Porn.”
He makes it so that you can move even an inch away from him, feeling your sweat mixes into each other until you don’t know where you start or he ends. He rubs your moisture around your clit while his thrusts remain an enigma, once so timid and careful, now leaving you breathless with every generous jerk every waking second.
Eager to experiment more, Seokmin pulls you up from the couch and pressed your chest against the cool wooden coffee table, pulling your ass in the air. His cock reenters you from behind, now the sound of your ass slapping against his lap is so delectably wet and delicious, that everything else feels numb.
You grip the edge of the table, legs elevated with curled toes. “Yes, fill me up please…you fuck me so fucking good…oh, Seokmin…a fucking natural…”
He finds your clit once more, going at it for what feels like forever, and enjoys you as if it's the last. He revels in your entirety contracting against him and he knows his patience can only take so much at this point.
“Seok, I’m cumming. I’m cumming. Just like that, please.”
He knows it's the beginning of the end the moment you open that dirty mouth of yours. He holds himself together, letting you come apart around him before he’s announcing he’s close with much trepidation. You nod back knowingly, a wide smile breaking out on your face. “Pull out, and put it in my mouth.”
He quickly obliges, seeing you getting on your knees and grasping at his shaft. You angle him at your lips, the slick force from your fingers milk every built-up tension from his cock and bursting it in your mouth in milky white. He memorializes how it hits your tongue, how big your smile is before you lick up every bit of it and suck his cock clean, and how much relief and pleasure he’s gotten from the whole ordeal. He’s overcome with a sense of gratitude.
“That was good. The student learns fast.”
“That was good,” he repeats.
“Amazing, actually.”
“Okay.” At this point, it was understandable to his brain had become mush, but he never knew it come to this extent.
You chuckle. “Your first time good?”
“Very.”
“Good, now I’m gonna teach you a little thing about aftercare. Lords knows how many guys go out fucking without knowing what is.”
Before you begin getting up he pushes you back down, a fierce look of determination from his eyes. “Can I eat you out first?”
Your eyes shoot open in pleasant surprise, quickly maneuvering yourself to sit back on the coffee table with spread legs. “Looks like someone’s been doing his homework.”
That night you learn he wasn’t only natural with his dick he was a natural with his mouth too. it helped to have his pretty nose.

part ii.
You didn’t expect Tsireya to stop you on your way to collect herbs one morning. By the look on her face you knew that she wanted to ask something from you. Although you were reluctant, you still stopped to listen to her.
“Tsmuke, can you please convince Ao’nung to help? He never attended all the lessons. I’m about to ask father to scold him.”
“Why?  Are the children hard to teach?” You asked with a smile, a certain face appearing in your mind as you speak.
Tsireya shook her head, seemingly happy. “Not at all, actually. They only need to hone their breathing and they'll be good to go.”
Hearing it, your eyes narrowed. “Why would you ask Ao’nung’s presence then?”
With an exasperated look, Tsireya pinched your waist. “You don't think father wants us to just teach them, do you?”
She was right. It must've been Tonowari’s intentions for Tsireya and Ao’nung to build a rapport with the Sully children.
And it cannot be done without Ao’nung ever interacting with the Sullys.
During these days you tried hard to avoid the possibility of bumping into the new settlers, trying your best to keep that boy out of your mind and focus on the Tsahik’s healing lessons instead.
You don't know what these strange flutters in your chest means, and you don’t like it. It scares you. So you did everything to avoid any close encounters with the Sullys.
The Tsahik had in fact, noticed your behavior. She asked if you have something on your mind, and you told her you’re just having a bottleneck in one of your tasks.
Ronal didn't investigate any further, but you knew she knew there's something more you are not being honest about.
You knew about Ao’nung absence. He’s as stubborn as rock, he wouldn’t budge as easily. Once he set his mind on something, he would do it until Ronal or Tonowari finally put him in his place. He wouldn’t listen to Tsireya.
You shook your head, “He wouldn’t listen to us,”
Tsireya looked at you with a twinkle in big cerulean eyes, “He would, sister. I absolutely believe he would. I mean you don’t even have to ask him. You just need to come with me to the water and he’ll arrive as fast as an akula that smelled blood.”
You somehow understood what Tsireya was trying to tell you. She wanted you to come, so Ao’nung would be forced to come as well. Although you doubt you’d have that much influence in that stubborn skxawng.
You waved your hands and pointed to the herbs in your marui, “I have so many things to do, Reya. I can't go.”
“You speak falsely, sister! Those herbs are not even the herbs mother asked you to prepare. I will go to Mother, I’m sure she will agree for you to take a day off.”
Before she could run off, you held her forearm and sighed. It seems that there's no avoiding it. You’ll have to go. There's no way you’ll let her talk to Ronal about this.
“Fine. I’ll go. But if Ao’nung didn't come just like you said, I’ll leave.”
Tsireya jumped in delight, hugging you tightly before pulling you into the ocean, confident about her theory. She didn't see your eyes full of nervousness and your weak knees as the thought of talking to the certain Omatikayan boy began occupying your mind.
“Tsireya! You’re here! Wow! You brought a pretty girl?”
“Yes, sweet little Tuk, I brought my sister with me. She’ll help with your training!”
Eyes shifted towards you, making you squirm. You tried to calm yourself as you faced the Sully children, greeting them with an awkward smile. “Oel Ngati Kameie, my name is _______.”
The youngest sully kid looked up to you with the biggest smile, “I see you, _______! My name is Tuktirey, but you can call me Tuk. This is my eldest brother Neteyam,” She pointed at the oldest Omatikayan boy beside her, and against your better judgment you turned towards him and met his eyes already staring at you.
Seeing you finally look at him in the eyes, he smiled and greeted you. “I see you,”
You felt your heart pounding on your chest, your blood thrummed through your veins. “I-I see you, N-Neteyam.”
Without seeing his reaction, you divert your attention back to Tuk who pointed to the other boy beside her, named Lo’ak, the second sully boy. Then, she pointed to the absent-minded girl not far away. “That’s my sister Kiri.”
You greeted them with a smile. Thankfully, Tsireya knew your nature and immediately took over the conversation after your introduction. “She’s a skilled healer, with exceptional weaving skills. She’s also a hunter, but she prefers staying inside her marui studying medicinal plants than to swim.”
You pinched Tsireya’s waist, not wanting to sound try-hard.
Thankfully, the sullys seem to take it well as Tuk grabbed your hand, pulling you much deeper into the water. “I also know how to weave! Maybe in the future we can compare who’s better!”
You laughed at her words that allowed you to subconsciously lower your guard. “I’m sure you're a lot better than me, little paskalin.”
Tsireya smiled at you before pulling Lo’ak away, making you helpless. You turned around and saw Kiri diving into the water. You couldn't help but to ask. “Will she be fine? What if she can’t breathe?”
Instead of Tuk, it was Neteyam who answered you. You didn't know when he arrived beside you. “She’ll be fine. She tends to do things that go against the nature of Eywa, but always manages to return unscathed.”
You can hear fondness in his voice, and couldn't stop the smile that emerged in your own lips. Your heartbeat was loud in your ears, but you're getting used to it.
“Eywa must've blessed her. She reminds me of Ao’nung.”
“Ao’nung? That big meanie?” Tuk interjected.
You snickered at her description, but she wasn't wrong. Ao’nung can be a big meanie so you nodded. “That’s right. That big meanie. He always likes to mess around, I’m surprised he’s still alive.”
You can feel Neteyam’s eyes on you, “You seem close to the Olo-eyktan’s children. May I ask about your relationship with them?” You heard him ask.
“Tsireya said she’s her sister, so they must be siblings!”
Tuk climbed on her brother as she waited for your answer. Aside from the deafening heartbeat, you also felt warm at the sight of Tuk hugging Neteyam. It reminded you of the younger Tsireya who would cling on you and add colorful shells to your hair.
“I am not the daughter of the Olo-eyktan and the Tsahik, I am simply Tsireya’s childhood companion. I also study under the Tsahik as a healer. She calls me sister…because we’re sisters at heart.”
You almost revealed the truth. Thank Eywa you managed to stop yourself. These feelings has to stop, it's making you vulnerable.
Neteyam observed your face almost absent-mindedly, “You must've been a great healer to be able to study under the Tsahik. My sister Kiri is also a great healer, maybe you’ll get along.”
“It’s all thanks to the Tsahik and to the great mother Eywa. Your sister, is she a Tsakarem?”
Neteyam paused. “Used to be. But since we left the forest, the Tsahik has to choose another tsakarem.”
You nodded. You suddenly felt curious about their origin. You also have no other conversation starter you can think of aside from this, so you went ahead with it.
“S-so, you’re from the forest right? Do you have any ideas about swimming?”
Tuk giggled in her brother’s arms, “Of course! We swim in the rivers of the forest!”
You nodded. You have swam in rivers yourself in some of the islands near, so it wasn't new to you. You have never seen a forest though, because you have never joined any expeditions to another clan. You merely heard about them from your mother back when you were still an ‘eveng.
“I only heard my mother talk about the forest, when she used to go with my father on expeditions to another clan. I believe they also went to Omatikaya Clan once. I-I hope you also find the ocean beautiful.”
“The reef is not bad, after all. It’s amazing... ” Neteyam murmured, but you heard it clearly.
You thought your heart would break out of your chest so you put your palm on top of your heart. You watched Tuk play with the water, before locking eyes with Neteyam. You thought you can handle it, but you were wrong as you quickly looked away, breathless.
Somehow, you began to empathize with these people. You were cautious, understandable. Since allowing them inside your clan means allowing the possibility of war and destruction in awa’atlu. But it must've been very hard for them to abandon the place they call home to protect themselves and their loved ones. They're a lot braver than you, who’s a coward your whole life.
You suddenly felt bad about how you acted. On how you let your feelings dictate how you act around Neteyam. Although they probably wouldn't even know since they just interacted with you for the first time, it still made you feel bad. Just because Neteyam made you feel things you have never felt before, you viewed them with prejudice.
You cannot apologize either, because they wouldn't even understand what it is for. You just need to stop avoiding them and treating them like air, especially if they plan to stay here for a long time. You need to respect them and view them as prospective clansmen.
With a newfound resolve, you faced Neteyam with a smile. “So, w-wanna learn how to swim?”
With a chuckle, Neteyam tilted his head. “Of course! Thought you’d never ask.”
Tumblr media
Neteyam watched your back as you slowly faded into the distance. Lo’ak was standing beside him, snickering.
“You should see yourself, bro. You’re drooling!”
Neteyam turned towards him and sneered, “As if you weren't kneeling at Tsireya’s feet, you skxawng. Also, don’t twist things. I don’t like her or anything.”
Lo’ak knew Neteyam as the perfect one, the perfect little soldier of their family. He didn't expect him to be a fool in the language of love and suddenly felt happy. His perfect brother finally has something he’s weak. And that’s the matter of love. He’s not emotionally stunted, but he’s just as clueless as a baby in the matters of women and alike.
“You don’t fool me, bro. Why are you staring at her so often then? At least I can admit it myself that I like Tsireya.”
Neteyam frowned. He doesn’t agree with Lo’ak at all. “I just think she’s weird, you skxawng. I just cannot read her at all.”
The youngest sully boy shook his head, “You’re not supposed to, bro. She’s not a book.”
That earned him a slap in the head from Neteyam. Lo’ak grumbled to himself while Neteyam began thinking about you.
You were always in his mind, no matter how he tried to remove you from his thoughts. He didn't even understand why, he just found you peculiar. He suddenly felt a lot lighter now that the two of you finally talked. He also assumed quickly, thinking you don't like him and his family. But he was wrong, at least he believes he’s wrong. One thing's clear though, he wrong about you being like Ao’nung who’s a bully. It looks to him that you’re just timid and introverted.
He can work with that. For what? He didn't know yet.
During dinner, Tuk couldn't control her mouth and began talking about you. It quickly caught the attention of Neytiri and Jake, who doesn't have any recollection of Tonowari and Ronal having another daughter.
“We met another pretty girl! She taught us how to breathe underwater!”
Neytiri smiled at Tuk, fondly filling Tuk’s bowl with more food. “Really? What's her name?”
Tuk’s forehead creased, “Uhm, _____? _______?”
Neteyam snickered, “It’s _____. You were acting all clingy with her but you immediately forgot her name when you went home.”
“Well, I wouldn't have forgotten if you stopped talking to her and interrupting our conversation!”
Neytiri’s ears perked up, she looked at Neteyam with an unreadable expression, but Neteyam didn't notice as his cheeks began to heat up.  Lo’ak was trying hard to hide his smile, while Kiri just rolled her eyes.
“I wasn't! Stop lying!”
Tuk stuck her tongue out at Neteyam and stood up, “Watch me! I’ll show you what happened!”
Everyone looked at Tuk who stood in the middle, she started mimicking your voice and awkward expression. “I-I hope you also find the ocean beautiful…”
Then, her expression changed, now mimicking Neteyam, her eyes blinking slowly as she stared lovingly at the air in front of her.  “The reef is not bad, after all. It’s amazing... ”
Lo’ak couldn't hold it anymore and laughed loudly, holding his stomach. Kiri and Tuk laughed as well, while Neteyam’s cheeks grew even warmer.
“Stop! You little—”

I remember that one ask about Charm and Admin being exes and thought "wow.....let's make it worse😘"
Imagine Charm being Admin's mourning mother. Your daughter suddenly being gone one day and losing hope of ever seeing her again as years go by, to being forced to accept the cruel truth that she might be dead (if Ludwig ever met you before the Krulu thing he would NOT have the balls to ever look you in the eyes again after everthing)
Yadda Yadda, you meet Miara, somewhat healed but still mourning child. And then you meet the desecration of your child. It sad for everyone. Charm would probably wish admin really was dead instead of being turned into Krulu's choses. Mother in law does not like son in law and actually just wants him tortured.
Charm might even scorn and curse Miara forever for not saving her child. Might really make charm not want have any kids with Miara, seeing her as a awful potential parent. If you're really metal you'll tear your uterus out and chuck it at Miara out of pure spite. Somehow.
Idk, maybe you just never want to see admin again, to rather believe your child simply died and isn't that....thing in front of you. Might as well be the truth. Perhaps you don't even want to see the Adrul and Adelo, a painful reminder of what that wretched Krulu has done to your daughter, or maybe you'd actually be a grandma to them, since all things considerd they haven't done anything wrong. Just been Born.
It's a sad situation tbh
You'll probably strangle Ludwig if you ever see him again tho
Yeah.
Miara cannot and will not sacrifice the tenuous balance between herself and Krulu because of your pain.
It doesn't matter, in the face of waging a war against Krulu. She understands the blinding rage you feel, as the mother of a child who has fallen into hands so calloused and malicious, but removing Admin from Krulu wouldn't save her, and that's what Miara tries to tell you time and time again. The child you knew is no longer there, in her stead is a woman who lives and breathes this dark siadar. To kill him, to remove her from his side, is to kill Admin.
Putting aside the absolutely catastrophical damage fighting Krulu would unleash on this planet, which Miara isn't willing to sacrifice.
Whether or not you choose to be a part of Admin's life isn't something Miara will push at all. But she will attempt to commune with Adrul and Adelo when they're born, regardless of your will.
Miara spends her days trying to convince you that none of this warrants you refusing to give her children, but if you ever dare try remove your own reproductive organs, she will interfere immediately. Drastically. Perhaps you'll only realize how invaluable your reproductive nature is when you are gestating another child, one who will not fall under Krulu's gaze.
Admin doesn't recognize you, Krulu won't let her. And she doesn't believe you could be her mother at all. A mother doesn't scorn her own child like that, for no reason, so you're definitely not anyone that might once have been family. Krulu was right.

“I’m afraid I must call you out of retirement for a final mission.”
Cold ice shot through Tobi’s chest. Fuck.
Did he know? He couldn’t. If he knew, he wouldn’t show it like this. His visit with T&I would be a lot less cheerful, that’s for sure. Was he prodding Tobi, watching for his reaction? Did Sarutobi honestly think he’d slip up? Tobi was incapable of slipping up. He couldn’t tell the truth with a kunai to his throat at this point.
“What sort of mission is it?” Tobi asked excitedly, ripping open the folder. He held the paper up and slowly mouthed the words on the page, fighting to get through the page. Look at him, he filled out his mission reports in crayon and could barely read. “Mission report…assignment duration, promotion or release…pay…oh, ew…assignment…jounin sensei…”
Tobi trailed off.
Distantly, he heard himself say, “Um. Maybe this is a mistake?”
As promised in last post. Kakashi & Obito roleswap. Barely. It's complicated. Please pay no attention to how many roleswaps I have written. Just ignore it. Do me a favor and do not think about it. OK? Thank you.
Snippet from a much longer, much messier document. This part was the very first part writiten and very much a proof of concept. I'm trying to figure out if I should overhaul the thing and turn this into an actual story, so let me know.
Short beginning scene of Tobito's Wild Ride under the cut.
“Tobi. Thank you for coming.”
Obviously, Tobi didn’t bow or kneel. That wasn’t the sort of person Tobi was. He just grinned broadly, waving so broadly that his body swayed with the motion. “Gramps! Hello! Wow, you’ve gotten old since I’ve seen you!”
Sarutobi chuckled, raising a pipe to his mouth. The pipe - either ‘I’m thinking hard’, ‘I want to pretend I’m thinking hard and giving due consideration to your idea when I don’t really care’, or ‘I’ve already decided and I’m pretending that you have a say in this’. What was the point of the last one? This was a literal military dictatorship. Tobi forgot how exhausting this man could be.
“It has been a while,” Sarutobi said indulgently. “Since…the T&I incident, I believe?”
Tobi giggled, high and childish. “Inoichi-san got sooo mad. But Tobi said he was real, real, real sorry, so I hope he’s not still mad…oh, no.” Tobi gasped, face falling in desolation. “Is Inoichi-san still mad at me? Oh, Tobi can go apologize again -”
“It’s water under the bridge.” Tobi exhaled gustily, wiping the back of his hand against his brow. It wasn’t his fault Inoichi hated him. Apparently his mind was absolutely impenetrable. Something about constant children’s lullabies just playing full blast in his head. Or songs regarding a specific time of day someplace in the world. “I have to apologize, Tobi. I always feel as if I should keep a better eye on you. There’s never enough time in the day for all of the people we care about. Please forgive me for my inattention to you.”
Manipulative old fuck. Tobi panicked, embarrassed by the attention and affection. He waved his hands quickly, almost jumping up and down. “Gramps! It’s okay! Tobi’s not lonely or sad! He still has Sasuke-chan! Sasuke-chan wasn’t brutally murdered, so Tobi’s A-OK!” Tobi had to tell himself that a lot. Every morning after a nightmare, which meant every morning period. “And I met a really nice old lady yesterday and helped her down the street. She gave me an apple sweet. It was delicious! So there’s nothing to forgive, Gramps!”
“I’m glad,” Sarutobi said warmly. Ugh. Tobi knew objectively that Minato-sensei had tried to imitate that tone, but he still liked to convince himself that Sarutobi was mimicking Minato-sensei. That was a good one, he’d have to use it. “Sasuke-kun is actually why I called you here today.”
That kid. Tobi sighed. “Tobi is sorry that Tobi cannot control Sasuke-chan. I’ve told him that punching Naruto-kun is bad, but he just doesn’t listen…”
“I’m sure you’ll find a method somehow.” Sarutobi pushed a thin file folder across the desk, and Tobi curiously stepped forward and picked it up. He’d know a file like that anywhere. It was a mission assignment folder.
How did Tobi feel about this? Tobi sure as hell knew how Obito felt - desperately wondering if a T&I visit was in his future. Tobi was scared of the missions, sure. But he was a five year old. How would a five year old react to these things?
Well. Tobi knew how he would have reacted. He would have sighed and rolled his eyes about yet another mission. Pretty impressive when you were burned out of your career at five years old. He blamed the two month graduation for years before he learned of Rin and Kakashi’s hell and eventually concluded that it could have been worse. At least Tobi was paid for his war zone.
“A mission?” Tobi gushed. He clenched on the folder far too tightly, like a child clutching a wheezing frog. “I’m going on missions again?” He jumped a little, his usual little show of excitement. Kept his energy up. “Does that mean Gramps isn’t mad at me anymore?”
Tobi carefully snuck a glance up from the folder, checking Sarutobi’s expression. Sarutobi’s face was impassive stone, as usual, but he looked a little worn too. “We were never angry with you.”
Tobi fully looked up, tilting his head and frowning. “Nuh-uh. Tobi remembers. Everybody was so mad at Tobi. Just because his hand slipped…it wasn’t Tobi’s fault.”
“We know,” Sarutobi said gently. “Minato didn’t retire you because he was angry with you. He was only looking out for you.”
Well, Tobi didn’t want to be out of fucking retirement. It was objectively insane to put him on any mission. Tobi had gotten sabotaging every attempt to make him a useful member of society down to a fucking art. He had a shitton of inheritance to blow and a nice long civilian life to blow it on. Maybe he was too stubborn about it - Iruka was definitely convinced that he was the second laziest person in the village and sabotaged his assigned jobs on purpose, which Tobi would have resented if it wasn’t absolutely true - but spite was important. Spite woke him up in the morning.
The only thing that helped him tolerate this stupid village was his hate for it. Ain’t that just the way.
“Trust me. You’re hardly our first choice.” Finally, they agreed on something. “But you’re the only one in this village with a Sharingan, Tobi. You’re the only one who can teach Sasuke how to use his power.”
“Nuh-uh. Um. This is a mistake. Ha ha.” Tobi ripped the paper from the folder, crumpling it into a ball and tossing it over his shoulder. “Because, um, I can’t use my Sharingan. Did Gramps maybe forget that? Ha ha?”
“But you still remember how to use it. Even if you can’t use it yourself, you can still walk Sasuke-kun through using his.” Sarutobi eyed Tobi knowingly, the dim glowing embers of his pipe reflecting a soft light in his eyes. “You were once a genius with the Sharingan, Tobi. They said you were the best since Madara.”
Yeah! Yeah, they did say that, old man! That was the whole fucking problem!
Mention of the Sharingan or Tobi’s old talents always upset him, so this was a great springboard into nipping this in the bud. He’d throw a hissy fit if he had to. Tobi had killer hissy fits. That was how Sasuke was given a seat as head of house in the Clan Council. Tobi’s wail could pierce eardrums and Sasuke had deserved that fucking seat.
“Tobi doesn’t like the Sharingan anymore!” Tobi exclaimed. “Tobi wants to help Sasuke-chan, Gramps, cross Tobi’s heart! But Tobi doesn’t like the Sharingan and the Sharingan don’t like Tobi. And that’s just the truth.” Tobi crossed his arms, sniffling and scrunching his nose. “And don’t say what you’re gonna say. Tobi knows what’s up. Minato-sensei’s little boy is on that team too, isn’t he?”
He absolutely was. Tobi had speed-read the entire document while he was reading it out loud. But even the remnant of Obito’s genius was still considerable, and Tobi’s moments of keen insight were useful for pushing the enemy into a corner.
“I thought you might appreciate the chance to look after your sensei’s son,” Sarutobi said mildly, removing a silver lighter from his pocket. Engraved, a gift from Biwako. Was that on purpose? A mind game on Tobi, an unconscious memory on his part, or a purposeful evocation of a memory just for him? Was he trying to remind Tobi of something or corner Obito? Damn this man. “Help him like your sensei helped you.”
The really great thing about Tobi was that he could get away with saying this. It was only to the left of cathartic, but at least it was in the zone. “I’m not stupid, Gramps!” Tobi yelled. The ANBU in the corners twitched, but when Sarutobi’s fingernail clicked on the silver lighter they subsided. “You’re giving Minato-sensei and Kushina-neechan’s little baby and his fox to the last Sharingan because you want the Sharingan to eat the Fox! Why are you doing what you want when you know it won’t work? Tobi’s tried, he can’t - he can’t, Gramps.”
It wasn’t the sort of thing any self-respecting Uchiha would admit. Half of them would kill themselves if they lost their Sharingan. Uchiha Obito, whose Sharingan was the pride and joy of the clan - who was the Uchiha’s Uchiha before Itachi-kun was even a twinkle in his mother’s eye - would never abandon his one point of value.
And everybody knew how prideful the Uchiha were. There was no Uchiha alive who would pretend to be Tobi. Could you imagine? What Uchiha would humiliate themselves like this with a goofy smile on their face? A regular human being could barely do it. An Uchiha? Forget it. Impossible.
But Kushina-neechan’s favorite shinobi was always the most surprising of all. And Obito cared about that more than all the rest.
The only ninja who would have ferreted him out was Kakashi. Kakashi and his dopey, stupid smile. His ridiculous porn books and his clumsy pratfalls. His laziness, lateness, and utter underachiever lifestyle. Only Kakashi ever said those words, with a wink and a smile: a true shinobi looked underneath the underneath. So save your energy and watch the clouds with me, Uchiha-kun. No? Maybe next time…
The next time never came. Being a good Uchiha had always meant something, and the useless son of a disgraced clan meant nothing at all. Nothing to anybody but Minato and Kushina and Rin and Obito.
“You’re better than nothing.” In that second, Sarutobi really did look very tired. He didn’t look like he was lying at all. “You’re the best we have, Tobi.”
Tobi was silent. Sarutobi knew it wasn’t much of a compliment. Even somebody like Tobi would know that.
“As a favor to Sasuke-kun and Naruto-kun,” Sarutobi said, “and as a favor to me. Please give these children the help you can. Don’t worry - I’ll ask the other jounin to pitch in and help.”
Tobi lowered his voice, and he allowed his tone to grow a little more serious. “I’m not strong. I’m not good at molding chakra and I haven’t really fought anyone in a long time. I can’t protect the children.”
“We’ll be careful,” Sarutobi allowed. But there was something in his eye… “You may be rusty, but I doubt you’re out of the ring yet. Have a little faith in yourself.” The look in his eyes glinted and grew, and for the first time he stared right at Tobi. “You did hold your own against Uchiha Itachi.”
They stared at each other for a long second, two. A little too late, Tobi laughed and scrubbed the back of his neck. “Silly Gramps! I said a billion times. Tobi hid. I don’t think Itachi-kun thought it was worth it to kill me…I don’t think Itachi-kun ever thought I was a real Uchiha. But we’ve showed him, huh?” Tobi grinned, jabbing a finger at his chest. “Now there’s three whole Uchiha in the whole wide world! One third’s a serial killer, one third’s twelve, and one third is…drumroll please…Tobi! Konoha’s in good hands, ne?”
Tobi smiled at the man who ordered Uchiha Itachi to kill their entire family.
Sarutobi smiled back at the man who was currently pulling the most intricate and improbable lying campaign in a village of ninjas. In Obito’s defense, it was to save his own life. Sarutobi had murdered his family to - well, save the village, but Tobi didn’t have to like it.
“Thank you for accepting the mission. I trust you’ll do splendidly.”
“Uh. Tobi didn’t -”
“The children ought to be waiting for you in the schoolroom at 1000 hours. You ought to head over - I expect you’re already late.”
Tobi squealed, looking at the unwound watch on his wrist and slapping his head. “Oh no! I’m late, I’m late, I’m late! Bye, Gramps! You promise-promise to get back-up for Tobi, right?”
Pleasantly, Sarutobi said, “I would not trust you alone with those children, no.”
“Yay! Okay, gotta goooo!”
When he left Sarutobi’s office, he was about ten minutes late to his meeting with the children. By the time he arrived at the school he was over an hour late. Lost on the road of life and all that. It didn’t matter - venting about this ridiculousness to Kakashi was way more important than meeting the brats on time.
This would be a disaster. There was no way this would end well. Tobi was a brain damaged, traumatized moron who couldn’t use his one skill and who hadn’t been on active duty since he whoopsie-daisy’d his sword into his best friend’s heart. If Sarutobi didn’t keep up his promise and drag in the other jounin to take up his slack then he’d riot. Did he want Tobi to do work? Tobi? He had resigned from capitalism and the military industrial complex. Pulling him into this shit again - as if he hadn’t suffered enough -
As if Sasuke and Naruto hadn’t. Maybe one of Sarutobi’s stupid-ass motivations was because he knew that only Tobi would be nice to Sasuke and Naruto. Damn Naruto especially. For that, at least…if only as a favor to Minato-sensei…
To make up for it…maybe a little bit of real work would be the least he could do.
Ugh. Hopefully not that much.
Tobi finally touched down at the school, following the Academy hallways to Sasuke’s classroom by route memory. He dropped off Sasuke’s lunch a lot. It embarrassed him so much. It was classic.
Tobi walked into the classroom and allowed a large basket of glitter to fall on top of his head.
A peal of laughter squealed throughout the room, and Tobi opened his eyes to see Uzumaki Naruto clutching his sides and laughing his ass off. Quite rudely, Sasuke had his feet propped up on a desk. That third girl was sitting primly in her seat, terrified.
“What an idiot! Our new sensei actually fell for - wait.” Naruto straightened, squinting at Tobi. He yelled, jabbing a finger at him. “Hey! Number Two Ramen Fan! What the hell are you doing here?”
Sasuke almost fell out of his seat. He scrambled to his feet, panicked in his special Sasuke way - that was, eyes a little wider than usual. “Tobi? Did I forget my lunch?”
“Um?” Sakura Haruno hunched her shoulders in her seat, picking at the corner of a scroll. “Uchiha Obito’s our sensei. I thought you knew. Did you…not know?”
“Is this a joke?” Sasuke cried. “Who the hell thought this was funny? Tobi couldn’t fight his way out of a paper bag! If they’re bullying us again, I swear to god I’ll strangle whoever -”
“Whoah,” Naruto cried, impressed. “Violent!”
“Everybody’s always bullying Tobi,” Sasuke snapped. “I’m an Uchiha. What sort of Uchiha would I be if I tolerated that?”
Glitter dripped down Tobi’s hair and sprinkled onto his clothing. He smiled, big and bright, and clapped his hands together. Sasuke was groaning, but Naruto and Sakura just leaned in closer - caught in a morbid curiosity, desperate to meet their own fate. Signed and sealed. “Tobi’s first impression of you all is…you’re so funny! Tobi likes you!”
The kids paled.

Poems and Pomegranates
A Stardew Valley one-shot in which Elliott has a crush on the Farmer and is very stupid about it.
Tumblr media
“I’ve got amazing news!”
Leah jumped and made a big, blue brushsroke through the middle of her almost finished painting.
“Elliott!” She growled, irritated at her friend. “I’ve told you to KNOCK!”
“Such trivial matters cannot stop me in the face of the most marvelous event of the ceuntry!” Writer threw himself dramatically at her bed, messing up the hand-embroidered pillows. “Leah, I am… I am in love!”
The artist was not half as amazed with the revelation as her friend.
“Oh my god, again? With who this time?”
“I’ll let you guess!”
Elliott sat on a bed giggling and waving his legs like an excited teenager.
“Is that really necessary…?”
“Oh come on, it won’t be hard! You know them.”
“Elliott, there’s like five people in this god forsaken village, OF COURSE I know them!”
Her rational arguments and angry stare seemed to bounce right off the invisible aura of pure joy and excitement that was surrounding freshly enamored Elliott. There was no way of developing this conversation other than his own. Leah sighed.
“Is it… the photo of Jodi’s husband that fell from her purse? Because if it is I’m gonna suspect she’s trying to get rid of it, that would be a fourth time!”
“No-o!” Elliott refuted. “This is a person.”
“An actor for a change? Let me guess, David…”
Leah got hit by a cushion, wiping a self-satisfied smirk of her face.
“Don’t play jokes on me in such a dramatic moment! A person from Pelican town.”
“Oh wow, that’s actually some unusual news.”
“I’ve told you so since the beginning.” Elliott seemingly didn’t notice the big chunks of irony in Leahs voice. “And you will never guess who!”
“The new farmer.”
Leah didn’t even bother to make it sound like a question. She laughed, hearing her friend’s outraged gasp behind her. Even though she turned her back to him to fix the painting, she knew exactly what face expression Elliott was making right now.
“How-did-you-know?!” He demanded, shocked and avast.
“He’s the only new person in town, all the other guys are either straight or not your type…”
“… or married to Jodi.”
“… So this was the only possible answer. Congratulations, are you planning on doing something about it?”
“Oh, yes!” Elliott jumped up and pulled something out of his pocket. “I’m going to read to him this poem. Won’t that be just utterly romantic?”
Leah took a piece of nice, firm paper and started to read it, subconsciously moving her lips as she did so. Her eyes became bigger and wider with every line.
“Elliott,” She waved a piece of paper before her friend’s eyes, as if trying to sober him up. “You can’t read that to him.”
“Why not?”
“Are you kidding me? It’s way too straight forward! We don’t even know if the guy is gay! And even if he is, believe me, anyone getting something like that all of a sudden would be creeped out.”
“Why?” Elliott took back the sheet of paper and started observing it vigorously, trying to spot the thing that made Leah so opposed to his idea. “Do you think it isn’t good?”
“It’s a good piece of writing, but you don’t just go and give something like that to someone who you had zero romantic interaction with.”
“Oh, and here’s where your innate pessimism has you mistaken!” Elliott took a feather out of his neatly arranged hair and pointed it triumphantly at Leah, as if it was a saber. “I have a very good reason to suspect that he does hold intimate emotions for me!”
“Wait, really?!” Now Leah was genuinely interested. “Why didn’t you start with that?! Tell me everything!”
“So, last night…”
“Yes?”
“As I was getting back into my cabin…”
“Yes?!”
“The farmer appeared on a beach…”
“And? What happens next?!”
“He brought me…”
“What???”
“A pomegranate!”
Leah stared blankly at the triumphant, delusional face of her best friend. How such an intelligent person can be so stupid?
“Elliott.” She started explaining her point slowly, like she was talking to a little kid. “You asked for someone to bring you a pomegranate. On a bulletin board.”
“Yeah, well-” Elliott flared up. “He had no reason to satisfy my humble request, and yet he did!”
“You were paying.” Leah was starting to become seriously frustrated. “You. Were. Paying for the damn pomegranate! Yesterday the farmer delivered leek to Evelyn, will you argue that he’s in love with her too?”
Leah’s arguments finally seemed to have made their way through Elliott’s thick skull. He looked like a deflated birthday balloon.
“So do you think” He asked sitting on Leahs bed again, his body striking a defeated pose. “That I don’t have a chance to get with him?”
“Oh no, I didn’t say that!” Leah sat next to Elliott, embracing him with sisterly support. “You do have a chance, just, for the roots of Yoba, don’t-”
They were interrupted by a sound of knocking on Leah’s wooden door.
“Who’s there?” She asked, not knowing who besides Elliott might have a reason to visit her in her home.
“It’s the farmer!” Said a voice from behind the door. “May I come in?”
“Oh, of course!”
Both Leah and Elliott practically jumped up from her bed, both trying to communicate something by looking at each other and both having completely different messages in mind.
“Hello!” Farmer came inside, lighting Leah’s tiny studio with his bright smile. “Sorry for coming unannounced, but I was just coming back from Pierre’s and remembered I had some extra goat cheese I forgot to sell him. So I figured giving it to somebody will be better than going all the way back just to sell one piece. You like goat cheese, right?”
“Oh, I love it!” Leah beamed looking at one of her favourite snacks. “You couldn’t have picked better!”
“I’ll try to remember that.” Farmer smiled even wider. “Oh, hi Elliott!”
Writer straightened up, like he was called out to solve a mathematics problem by a teacher.
“H-hi, Farmer! It’s good to see you again.”
“You too.” Farmer looked around Leah’s room, admiring the sculptures and paintings. “So, what have you been up to?”
“Oh, you know, writing my novel, a little bit of gardening… I have to remember to not water my plants with sea water this time!”
Farmer stopped watching Leah’s art for a minute to give writer a look. It was way less delightfully amused and much more concerned than Elliott have hoped for.
“You’re still irrigating them with sea water after a month?”
Oh no. Have Elliott already use this attempt at striking a conversation? All he wanted was to relate to the farmer on a common interest level, and instead he must have looked like someone utterly incompetent.
“Anyway.” Farmer broke the awkward silence. “I just remembered I also have something for you.”
Elliott’s eyes grew in awe and his heart fluttered, as he saw a glistening, ebony dark bottle of the finest ink, emerging before him from farmer’s backpack
“Oh, Farmer!” He took the gift gently in his hands, almost made tearful by that generous gesture. “Thank you so much, ink is always required for a writer! And so expensive, too…”
“Ah, don’t mention it!” Farmer waved their hand. “Had a lot luck in the mines lately. It’s weird what these monsters carry with them sometimes. I’m just glad that you like it.”
“It is very much appreciated.” Elliott held his hands tighter on a bottle, his mind already overflowing with heroic images of Farmer making his way through narrow corridors and slaying monsters, just for him…
“Just don’t use it for watering plants by mistake.”
Playful smile and a wink that Farmer gave him were like a nail to a coffin in which Elliott just buried his past self. The self who could imagine a life without the farmer.
“I will take sincere care of it, just like with any other gift from you.” He swallowed hard, gathering his courage for what was to happen next. “Speaking of which, I have…”
“HAVE been telling me something very personal and we’re very thankful for the gifts, Farmer, but I have to ask you to go. You’ll be welcome at any other time of course!”
“Oh, I see.” The man was almost not abashed at all as he swiftly obliged the sudden request from Leah. “I’ll see you around in that case. Bye!”
“Bye!” Elliott responded with waving his hand to the same gesture send his way by the leaving farmer, but the moment the door shut close, he turned with a whispered grievances to Leah.
“Why did you do this? We were having a magical moment!”
“You were about to give him the poem and make a fool of yourself, that’s what this moment was!” Leah whispered back angrily. “My dude, just this once in your life, listen to a sensible romance advice and learn to take it slow!”
Elliott was sulking at Leah until the end of their meeting in her cottage, and later for some time after he came back to his cabin, but ultimately he had to admit that his friend was right. He was a romantic at heart, but he had to admit that not everybody appreciates a straight forward gesture, or frankly feels comfortable with it. Writer sighed, putting his love confessing poem between the pages of “All the ways of robots” - a science fiction book that he started reading as a preparation for finishing his own novel.
For the rest of the day he played piano a little, he watered his plants (not with sea water, where did he even get an idea of pretending to be this dumb?), and finally - sat to have a intense session of writing. Despite earlier emotional turmoils, his creative process was going very smoothly. Smoothly enough, that when somebody knocked to his door Elliott was quite irritated with the forced break from his papers. Despite it he got up, feeling his bones creaking, and came to open the door.
“Hi again!” Said Farmer, and Elliott’s heart jumped and did a somersault somewhere in the vicinity of his Adam’s apple. As a result, his throat tightened and the word “hello” came out in a form of a squeak.
“… may I come in?”
Asked his guest after a few moments too long of standing at the doorstep and Elliott hurried himself to move out of the way and make a welcoming gesture. Why didn’t he think to clean his cabin at least a little bit today?!
“I won’t take too much of your time, I see you’ve been busy.”
Elliott miraculously stopped himself from responding something in the lines of “please, take all my time and more”.
“I was just in the library looking for “The Cosmic Triumph” and Gunter told me you borrowed it some time ago. Have you maybe finished it by any chance?”
“Of course!” He didn’t, the truth was it was a story Elliott read as a much younger boy and currently wanted to remind himself of. He only read half, but who could say no to such beautiful eyes that manifested into his room as if by a divine intervention? “Here it is, I hope it gives you a pleasant literary adventure.”
“Thank you, I’m sure it will.” Farmer took the book from Elliott’s hand and put it in his backpack. “Okay, I will leave you to it, it seems like you are busy with the book.”
“Actually” Elliott stopped the farmer as he was about to close the door. “I could use a little bit of fresh air. Would you mind having someone walk you to your home?”
“Actually, I wouldn’t mind. Not at all.”
Elliott couldn’t have imagined a more perfect rendezvous. Light evening breeze brought relief after a long, hot summer day, which caused both men to walk slowly and bask in the wonderful fresh air as long as possible. Birds were singing in the forest, hidden between the branches somewhere above their heads. An owl whistled, giving their walk a mysterious aura. And the conversation was flowing - oh, how pleasant was the exchange of thoughts between the two minds, and how unwelcomed the departure.
“I don’t think my walk home from the beach ever felt that short. Will you be okay on your way back?” Said farmer, after they finally had to say goodbye.
“I’m glad that my company brings you pleasure, Farmer. Walking home from here will be a delight, you don’t need to worry about my security or comfort.”
“I’m glad. See you around, then!”
Farmer closed the door and Elliott made himself wait until after he left the farmer’s property to squeal with excitement. He never had such a short walk home! He worries about Elliott’s safety on the way back! Oh, what a night. Tomorrow first thing in the morning Elliott has to go to Leah’s house and tell her everything. No, on a second thought - that will be the second thing in the morning, before that Ellott will go to Pierre’s, to hopefully meet there the farmer. He’d pretend it was an accidental encounter and mention that he did get to his home safely, and offer tFarmer with farmer more often. Yes, the perfect plan. After that he will go to Leah and properly thank her for thwarting his attempt to present his poem to the farmer. She was right, it was very straight forward. More of an emotional fantasy than a serious literature, really.
Elliott came into his tiny cabin, sure that he will have pleasant dreams that night. He looked at his pocket watch (an old fashioned accessory, yes, but he liked it very much). It wasn’t too late yet, he can take some time to relax reading before bed. Elliott reached to the table and picked up… “The Cosmis Triumph”? No, that’s not right, he gave that book to farmer earlier today. But silver-lettered title gleamed before his eyes, clear as day, and that would have to mean that…
Oh no.
Oh shit.
Oh shit oh shit oh shit.
Elliott started to search through his cabin in a panic, throwing books out of shelves and clothes out of the drawers. He tried to picture in his mind the exact moment of passing farmer the book to prove to himself that he was wrong, that he didn’t give him that book…
But he couldn’t lie to himself any longer. “All the ways of robots” was nowhere to be found. And that meant that farmer was now home alone with Elliott’s love poem.
Writer ran out of his hut like all the demons of hell were chasing him and rushed towards farmer’s property. His feet were tapping loud on the town’s stone road, echoing in otherwise still neighbourhood. The writer didn’t even take the time to tie his hair, so it was waving behind him like a shining ginger flag, making a beautiful composition with writer’s loose white shirt fluttering in the breeze created by his momentum. Elliott didn’t notice his surroundings in time, which caused him to crash with local guitarist amateur, who was in the process of leaving the pub.
“Hey…” managed to say startled Sam when something almost pushed him to the ground.
“I’m so sorry!” Shouted Elliott in his direction without slowing down. Sam looked at the tornado of ginger hair and linen that was drifting away in fits of chaotic movements.
“Sam, are you okay?” Asked Abigail who came through the door just behind him. “What’s the deal with that guy?”
“I don’t know, do you think he’s sick?”
“Sick in the head.” Commented Sebastian, walking right behind them and lighting a cigarette. “I’m telling you, that hermit crab has finally gone mad.”
“What’s with his hands?” Wondered Abigail as they watched Elliott disappearing in the woods. Indeed, he was waving his hands in a manner that did not at all positively impact his pace.
“Everyone here is a damn lunatic.” Sebastian rolled his eyes. “Abs, do you want us to walk you home before Business Daddy calls you for the twentieth time?”
“Ewww, don’t call my father that!” Abigail punched Sebastian lightly in the arm, but laughed.
Meanwhile in the forest Elliott was having a significantly less amusing time. The road seemed to have gotten more rough since he was walking it less than two hours ago, the forest was now darker and not so romantic anymore, rather scary. Writer’s wild imagination was putting roars of monsters in place of the squeaks of bats and clawed hands reaching for him in place of shadows. But possibly the worst of all - because very probable - was the fear of how farmer will react when he reads Elliott’s poem. Will he think it to be creepy? Too forward? Will he be skeeved out by the romantic details? Or maybe - and it was the worst posisibility of them all - the farmer will think that Elliott purposefully switched the books, just to confess to him in that convoluted way?
“He’ll probably think it was just a one, big misunderstanding.” Elliott tried to calm himself as he jumped through the logs and tried to keep his hair off the branches. “There’s no guarantee he’ll figure out that he is the object of that poem!”
“You literally wrote five verses describing his pomegranate tree” Leah’s voice rang in his head as if she was really right there, trying to speak some sense into his thick skull. “You’re writing about the fields and chickens, and who else in the valley has a greenhouse?! Elliott, you plonker, everybody will know this poem is about the farmer if they as much as look at it.”
Leah was right. Or, rather - Elliott was right. No, he wouldn’t have imagined that arguments if he didn’t know Leah. Screw that, the main point was that he had to take the book from the farmer before they manage to open it and find the wretched poem!
The light in Farmer’s house was still lit. Not a good sign. But maybe he’s not up reading?
Elliott knocked to the door in a rush, only a moment too late remembering that he is short-winded and disheveled, probably with some leaves stuck in his hair. But he didn’t have time to fix his looks, because in this very moment the door opened, letting outside a safe, golden, heavenly light, and an angel bathed in it, holding the doorknob.
“Elliott?” Farmer seemed surprised and a little worried. “Are you okay? What happened?”
“I am…” Elliott, who wasn’t used to moving in such a hurry, gasped for the air. “Okay, it’s just…”
“Come in!”
Farmer stepped back to let him go through the door and closed them quickly, leaving chilly evening air outside. Elliott’s eyes were searching for the book. Is it possible that farmer didn’t yet took it out of the backpack?
“I, uhhh…” Writer suddenly felt himself blushing under the sweetly concerned gaze of his crush. “By accident I gave you the wrong book.” He held “The Cosmic Triumph” in front of him, endlessly thankful to his lucky star that he at least remembered to take it with him.
“That’s it?” Farmer laughed with relief. “Elliott, you looked like you have seen a ghost! Thank you, you really didn’t have to, I would have lasted one more evening without the book.”
Does that mean he didn’t open it yet?
“But since you are here maybe you’ll drink some tea, it looks like you need to sit for a moment. I also have juice if you want something colder.”
“T-tea is fine.” Only now Elliott started to feel how big of an impact the mad dash had on him. He sat on the sofa Farmer pointed him towards, still browsing the room with his eyes and… there it was. On the tea table, just slightly out of reach, lied the straightened page with the poem, and “All the ways of robots” next to it. He could try to steal it, but won’t it only make him look more suspicious if farmer ready read it? Did he?
“Milk or…” Farmer approached Elliott with two cups of tea and quickly followed his gaze. The beautiful face blushed. Oh no. Oh no no no no no. He had read it.
Elliott sat stiff as Farmer situated next to him, feeling like he had swallowed a ticking bomb. The bomb was his heart, the fuse was in the hands of the farmer.
“Um…” Elliott’s crush broke the insufferable silence. “You… you wrote it?”
Elliott took a deep inhale, prepared to ad-lib a desperate attempt at excuse, but before he could say anything he glanced at Farmer and saw… a blush and a smile? Was it really? Or was his hopeful mind making up illusions again?
Oh well, the prize belongs to risk takers. Worst case scenario he will have to change the name and move out of the country.
“Yes, I did actually.” He felt his heart bumping loudly. “For you.”
The farmer bit his lip. Was he trying to restrain a smile or a laugh? Will he throw Elliott out in the next moments? Or maybe he’ll feel intimidated?
“It’s beautiful.” Said Farmer simply. “Like… like the author.”
Elliott finally felt brave enough to look in the face of his muse. Was he… blushing? No, this time there was no denying it. Farmer’s face was red like a ripe tomato.
Suddenly farmer stood up and went to take something from his cellar downstairs. Did Elliott misread the signals?
“I was thinking,” Farmer’s voice could be heard before he went in the room. “It was such a nice time talking to you earlier today, and- and, I mean it’s late. Of course you don’t have to if you want to, but… you look tired… but still pretty.. What I mean is-”
He finally appeared, holding two glasses and a bottle of golden quality wine. Elliott’s heard did a pirouette. Such lavishness. And for him?
“If you are asking…” Elliott smiled, being once again the smoother worded one out of two of them. It provided him some confidence. “If you are asking me if I’d like to have a glass with you and spend the night, then the answer is yes. Gladly.”
Two bottles of wine and a few hours later two men were tasting each other’s lips under the night sky. Elliott smiled through the kisses, thinking about the stories he’ll get to tell tomorrow. Suck it, Leah. There are still true romantic souls in this world and he, Elliott, managed to find one. And he has no intention to let go.

I have a rq!!
A platonic Emmett x friend!reader who he learns has the same last name he had when he was human (McCarty), and the same dimples as him.
Turns out, she’s like a great-great-great niece or smth and how they talk ab it n how he explains all the vampire stuff and they become besties!!
Notes: Sorry, I know this is really short compared to my other fics!! also thank you for your patience, I really appreciate it! But I hope you still like it! 💗
Warnings: None!
Emmett Cullen x platonic!reader!
Tumblr media
"I can't believe you're my great, great, great niece! That's awesome!" You laughed showing your dimples.
Emmett smiled as well, "And you've got my dimples as well!"
You couldn't believe it either. You had a great, great, great uncle who happened to be a vampire. You'd never thought when you moved to Forks that you'd make a lot of friends let alone family. You still couldn't quite fathom the idea that he was a vampire. It was kind of crazy. You were still processing the information he had told you but you gladly welcomed him, with open arms. And he did as well. You'd met his family and for the most part they were welcoming as well.
They were sweethearts except for a few who were a little more closed off. But you didn't take it personally. You couldn't blame them. You couldn't help but feel emphatic of them as well. They were vampires who strived to be good and care for humans and the bloodlust must be difficult even after multiple decades. It seemed to be a difficult task and for that you wouldn't blame them or have any ill will towards them. You knew if you were a vampire you'd want somebody to be understanding of your predicament.
It warmed your heart knowing even after he couldn't be with his family he had grown up with he found a family and people who loved and cared for him. It was also delightful to know he found someone special in his after life or vampire life? You weren't sure how to refer to it but you were just happy for him that's all you know.
She hadn't been the most welcoming but you tried to not take it to heart or too personally. She seemed to care for Emmett quite a bit so you tried to think optimistically rather than negatively.
He then explained that they sparkle like diamonds. They freaking sparkle! You could barely believe it!
"Wait you sparkle like, like actual sparkles." He nodded. "Wow." You said mouth agape in shock.
Carlisle intervened, "Yes but you need to understand you cannot tell anyone about this or else our family could be endangered." You completely understood you wouldn't want to cause them problems especially to your own family. And to you it didn't make sense why you would tell anyone else this wasn't your secret to tell, it's not your business you're not going to go off and tell people.
"She won't, don't worry." Edward answered before you could say anything.
You were confused, "How do you know I won't?" He raised his brow, "I just mean you don't seem like someone who is very trusting of someone they just met."
"I'm not. I can read your mind." he said bluntly.
"What?" You asked. Emmett laughed at your expression. "Okay I wasn't expecting that." You said, surprised.
'I don't think anyone does, dear." Esme says warmly. "True." You said. You turned your wrist to look at the time, "Oh shoot look at the time, I have to go. It was amazing meeting you all, Thank You so much for having me."
"You're welcome." Esme and Carlisle said.
Esme gave you a warm smile while Carlisle shook your hand. Alice gave you the gentlest hug she could while being excited. While Jasper simply nodded. Edward didn't say much and Rosalie followed suite. But Emmett gave you a bear hug and twirled you around. You in that moment decided that he gave the best hugs in the world. You couldn't help but laugh and you thanked him, sweetly. A warm feeling spread in your chest as you left the Cullen household.

I remember when the scripts for deleted scenes were being posted and Team Black was praising Daemon as father of the year for awkwardly saying “Let’s have you with us for now” to his daughter he had not seen in years even though he lived like a 1/2 hr - 1 hr fly away.
They are now pissed that this season will explore Baela’s feeling distant toward Daemon and Rhaena feeling resentment that Baela got to live with their Grandmother while she was left alone on Dragonstone with the “Braedy” Bunch. TB built a fantasy in their heads of “Girl Dad” Daemon and of Rhaena being Rhaenyra’s “favorite child” because she gives her handmaid Rhaena hand me down dresses and jewelry.
We’ve seen no evidence of Daemon being a good father or a good stepfather. We have seen Rhaena’s distressed being ignored by him because he can’t be a grown man about her not having a dragon. We have seen him hang back in the shadows and not show any concern towards his daughters who were just in a fight that ended in another child losing an eye. We saw him only step forward to (according to the script) to try and Attack Alicent from behind and to see about Rhaenyra’s wound.
We’ve seen this blood purist hate his nephews and niece who are all dragon riders that look like the picture of Old Valyria because they have a Hightower mom. Yet people believe he actually cares for Rhaenyra’s Strong sons who are more Andal than Valyrian?
While we DO see Aegon’s pride in his children. His subtle acknowledgement of his daughter who he knows enough about that he knows she has an aversion to touch like her Mother. We see him show his son more attention than both his father and his uncle have ever shown their children. We see Daemon help Rhaenyra steal his daughter’s birthright, while he see Aegon show enthusiasm in training his son to be King.
We saw Daemon not come to Rhaenyra’s aid when she was calling for him while painfully delivering a malformed stillborn baby. We never see Daemon grieve this baby, we do however see his fans say that he’s grieving the loss of the baby to excuse him abusing his wife, being a dick to his stepson and plotting the murder of a toddler.
We will however be seeing Aegon’s anguish, grief and pure unrestrained rage over the murder of his son.
yep. that's the thing that gets on my nerves anon
they've just decided that daemon is a good father despite one of his children literally saying "father ignores me", despite him not even bothering to check on his daughters after they were in a fight, despite him making rhaena feel useless because she has no dragon. we see him looking at her in silent judgment and her looking hurt. at least aemond had alicent for support when he didn't have a dragon... poor rhaena.
we never see rhaenyra interact with her stepdaughter, she invites them to join the family at the table in ep 10 - wow! congrats on not excluding your stepdaughters !!!! best mom evehhh!!! we do know, however, that she planned their marriages with rhaenys behind their back, not even bothering to ask for their consent. you'd expect rhaenyra "i do not wish to get married" Targaryen to at least let her stepdaughters know before she marry them off. we have 0 evidence of rhaenyra being a good stepmom.
and yeah, daemon is obsessed with valyrian blood and bloodlines. this man cannot even be bothered with his own children and i'm expected to believe that he gives a fuck about the strongs? he was literally angry at rhaenyra for "neglecting her roles as queen" AKA looking for her son's body.
and as for daemon as a husband... i don't think anyone's claiming he was a good husband to rhae and laena but he's horrible to rhaenyra as well. he ignored her when she was screaming in pain for him, he physically assaulted her !!
so we have daemon who ignores his children when they're bleeding, openly prefers one twin over the other, assaults his wife, ignores her when she's in pain and i'm supposed to think that he's a family man?
BUT when aegon takes his son to the council meeting, gets angry at one of his most powerful allies for snapping at his son (not really i love tyland and that scene was adorable), looks at his son lovingly and proudly, knows his son's fav games, gently taps his daughter's shoulder (idk if she doesn't like touch like hel, she just looked happy minding her own business), immediately can tell his identical twins apart WE'RE wrong for calling him a good dad? as far as westerosi standards go , yeah, i'd say he's a pretty decent dad.
and then they really try to bring up half a sentence from a TGC interview conveniently leaving out the parts where he says that aegon wasn't an absent father & he loves his kids very much lmao

THE TUTOR
eddie munson x reader
part 1/4
Tumblr media
pairing: eddie munson x f!reader, eddie munson x shy!reader (only one use of y/n and I cringed writing it)
rating: 18+ mature! minors be gone!
summary: reader has had a secret crush on Eddie Munson for months, only she has been too scared to tell him. When she’s forced to tutor him, she lets it slip that she feels like she’s missed out on the normal “high school experience.” Eddie aims to change that.
A/N: this has been in my drafts since LAST MAY!!! & i am just now finishing it jfc. this is part one to a series I’m looking to make three parts! I’ll finish it if it’s the last thing I do!
You hated first period. Always had, ever since sophomore year when you’d had AP literature with the juniors and Carol Perkins had made it her life’s work to make your life a living hell.
You didn’t know exactly what you had done to make her hate you so much, but early on in the year, she’d made it abundantly clear that you were going to be her new target. And you, being the only awkward, braces-faced sophomore in the class, had elected to suck it up and take the bullying.
After all, she was telling you everything you already knew; your hair was frizzy, your teeth were crooked, your acne was ugly and awful. The usual things that you, with the same awful self esteem that was characteristic of every knobby-kneed 14-year-old, had already heard and already believed.
Eventually, when your study-buddy and the only other underclassman in the class, Nancy Wheeler, found out about the full extent of the bullying, she’d done something about it. She had just started dating Steve Harrington at that point, and despite his larger than life hair and not so great reputation, he was nice to you by association. He was the one who got Carol to stop.
Still though, you thought that that god-awful year of excruciating first-period classes had ruined them for you for good; conditioned you somehow into expecting the worst from your first class of the day so that now, as a senior, you still dreaded it.
Today was no different.
You tapped your foot distractedly in the back seat of Steve’s car as he pulled out of your neighborhood.
“For the last time, Robin, no you cannot play the new Clash cassette. Put it away—“
“Oh come on, Harrington. It’s good.” Robin sighed exasperated. She’d been your next door neighbor since you were five, and your best friend ever since.
“Oh, oh! Like the new Madonna album?” Steve asked, eyebrows raised as he looked at Robin in the passenger seat.
“Or the Duran Duran one?” You piped in, biting your nails and looking at her expectantly. Immediately, her head whipped back to you, mouth open in a silent gasp.
“Wha—“ she made a choked sound, looking between you and Steve before bringing her gaze back to you, narrowing her eyes. “Who’s side are you on?”
“Uhm, the side of good music.” You countered, playfully sassing your best friend.
“Wow..” she drawled dramatically, interrupting you.
“And right now,” you continued. “Harrington has the better mixtape. Sorry!” You batted her hand away as she reached back to smack your arm.
“Boom!” Steve declared triumphantly, raising his hands from the wheel for a split-second. “Sorry, Robs, we love you but if I have to listen to one more of your mix tapes, I’m gonna—“
“Yeah, yeah! I get it.” Robin was silent for a moment before turning around to glance between the two of you. “You know, every day I remember how it was me that got this little group together, and every day it comes back to bite me in the ass.”
“Oh right,” Steve scoffed. “You’re forgetting, I’ve known y/n since junior year, and I’ve only known you for like, I don’t know, nine months.”
“Okay, but you two weren’t friends.” She gave Steve a pointed look. “It wasn’t until I convinced her to come work with us at Scoops Ahoy that we all started hanging out. So what I should be hearing is ‘thank you Robin.’”
In the rear view, you saw Steve roll his eyes at her antics, a smirk on his face.
“Actually,” you pointed out. “Steve and i hung out almost every day sophomore year.”
“Yeah,” Robin pressed. “But that was because of miss prissy-pants, Nancy Wheeler, not because you two were friends.”
You bristled a bit at your best friend’s name for Nancy. You knew she probably didn’t mean anything by it, but still. She didn’t know Nancy like you did. And Nancy had been nice to you when you didn’t have many friends besides Robin. She’d made it her problem when you were being bullied and did what she could to stop it, when she didn’t have to.
You and Nancy hadn’t really talked much since she and Steve broke up. Even after the whole ordeal last summer, with the mall “fire,” and Russian agents in Hawkins, you two hadn’t really reconnected. But there was no bad blood there. You wished her the best.
“I don’t know, Robs,” Steve interjected. “I think she gets bragging rights for knowing me longer.”
You laughed at that.
“Oh whatever,” Robin shook her head, leaning her elbow on Steve’s open window, bopping her head to the music pouring through the speakers.
“Good god, I don’t wanna be going back there.” She groaned as Hawkins High came into view. “It’s not too late to skip you know.” She craned her head back to look at you, a hopeful look in her eyes.
“I’m highly considering it.” You bounced your knee, trying to relieve some of the tension in your limbs.
“Ugh, no I can’t.” Robin exasperated. “My moms gonna kill me if she finds out I skipped again.”
There goes my chance, you thought, knowing there’s no way you’d skip without her.
“Yeah, I do not miss this place, gotta say.” Steve mused as he pulled into the parking lot. Robin rolled her eyes at him. You chuckled. They fought like an old married couple.
“I have Ms. Taylor first period,” you groaned at the memory of the stern, mean older woman who you had for home room this semester.
“Oh god,” Steve laughed. You smacked his shoulder. “Well, good luck with that. I’ll see you two at 3.”
You and Robin begrudgingly exited Steve’s car, facing the pit of despair known as Hawkins High School.
Thank god this was your last year, you thought to yourself.
As you eyed down the beige brick building, you could’ve sworn you felt a bit of your soul get sucked out. It may sound dramatic, but it was true. You felt yourself retreat into yourself the closer you got.
Something about Hawkins high just did that to people. Made them retreat and put on whatever mask they had to go get through the day. You were no exception.
“Let’s get this over with,” Robin mumbled beside you, beginning to walk toward the doors.
“Let’s.” You sighed back.
- - - - - -
There was one aspect of first period English with Ms. Taylor that you considered a saving grace—not that you’d ever admit it out loud.
Eddie Munson.
You weren’t sure why it started, if you were honest with yourself.
In fact, at the beginning of the year, you, like everyone else, were actually a little bit terrified of the lanky, tall metalhead that the rest of the school had dubbed “the freak.”
Before this year, you hadn’t really had many encounters with Eddie Munson. You’d known of him, sure, but never really interacted with him. Besides the few random outbursts he’d have in the cafeteria, and one time when you’d given him a pencil in your art elective freshman year, you’d kept your distance. Most of what you’d heard about him came from the kids; which meant they were lies, at worst, and exaggerations at best. You could tell they admired him from the way they spoke of him—Dustin in particular, who had spoken of Eddie in the way he’d only ever spoken of one person before: Steve. But that was the extent of your knowledge.
Eddie had been two years ahead of you technically, although now he was a senior, same as you, and stuck in the same miserable first period English class with Ms. Taylor.
It had started out innocent enough, you liked to tell yourself. You weren’t always swooning over him and his leather jackets or studded rings. It had just snowballed.
It had begun like this: it was the first day of your senior year, and to add to your nerves at a new dreadful year, Ms. Taylor had given you, and all your classmates, assigned seats.
Great, you’d thought. Just great. Now you had to sit next to a complete stranger while also being a complete ball of anxiety all class.
You were early. Much to your chagrin, Steve had insisted on picking you and Robin up earlier than usual because it was your first day, and what if you have trouble finding your classes. Completely ignoring the fact that you and Robin had gone to Hawkins High for three years and knew it like the back of your hand.
Still, it had gotten you here, 15 minutes early to the first bell, trapped in a room with no one other than Ms. Taylor, and Eddie Munson himself.
“You’ll be right there, beside Mr. Munson.” Ms Taylor had drawled monotonously, eyes focused on a stack of papers on her desk.
You froze, looking over at Eddie, who was scribbling down in a notebook in the second to last row of desks from the back. He looked up at you for a moment before going back to his writing.
“Did you hear me?” Ms Taylor said your last name. You snapped out of it, smiling over at her and gripping the strap to your backpack before making your way to the seat.
“Yeah. Sorry, Ms. Taylor.”
You sat down rigidly, looking anywhere but at Eddie. Ms Taylor left the room to refill her coffee cup in the teacher’s lounge, leaving you and him the only people in the room.
You felt your hands begin to shake at the impending doom of first period rolling around. You knew it was dumb; it’d been two years since the first-period-from-hell, and you still couldn’t shake your fear of home room. You clasped them together, folding your fingers on top of each other on the desk, trying to calm your breathing. Your heart pounded in your ears.
“Look, you can relax, okay,” Eddie’s annoyed voice beside you snapped you out of it. “I won’t bite.”
You looked over at him, his face looked impatient, though if you looked closely, you thought you could detect a little bit of hurt there too. Your eyebrows furrowed, before you realized what he must have been thinking.
He thought you were scared of him.
It made sense, though that was far from what was going through your head.
“No,” you began quietly, before clearing your throat. “That’s not what I—that’s not—that’s not it.”
“Whatever you say,” he mumbled, eyebrows raised as he continued writing.
That was the day it started. The watching him.
It’d begun as a way of coping; a way to distract yourself from Ms. Taylor’s droning on about Shakespeare, or the whispers of the two mean girls who sat at the front and liked to glance back at you and snicker.
Your therapist had mentioned the method to you a few months before, a way to maybe cope with your anxiety in anticipation with the upcoming school year. It was a method that your shrink had described as a way of ‘hyper-focusing’, or concentrating on one thing until the anxiety wore away.
And in the haze of your first day, you’d focused on Eddie.
But eventually, as the year wore on, it developed into something different.
You began to notice his hair; how it would fall over his face as he frowned in concentration at whatever he was writing in that book. His hands, big and flanked with gaudy silver rings. You began to wonder how they’d feel on your skin, running through your hair, over your stomach.
It was almost a type of game you played with yourself; a form of escapism. On days your anxiety got too much, the days your hands would sweat and your feet couldn’t cease their tapping, you could look beside you and focus on Eddie. And it would all fall away.
You supposed that’s why you kept your little obsession a secret; it was embarrassing.
Not the fact that you were infatuated with him, but the fact that you’d been using practically a complete stranger to talk yourself down from anxiety attacks. You hadn’t even told Robin, the person you shared everything with. And somewhere in the back of your mind, you knew that this wasn’t some little crush or admiration—it was more than that.
But you refused to admit that to yourself, because there was one huge, glaring problem. That being that Eddie Munson hated you. You were sure of it.
It was as if after the awkward encounter you’d shared at the beginning of the year, he avoided you like the plague. Not looking, talking, or even so much as breathing your way once. And the one time when you’d gotten the nerve to ask him a question, he’d barely grunted out a response before the had rung and he was gone.
That had been the first and last time you’d attempted to talk to Eddie Munson. Your crush was doomed, you knew it. Not only were you convinced he couldn’t stand you, you also were almost positive that he still thought you were scared of him, like he did at the beginning of the year.
Which, to be fair, you were. Just not in that way. As far as Eddie was concerned, you were scared of him in the judgy, superficial, ill-intentioned way that the rest of Hawkins was, not in the butterflies, tongue-tied, make-your-hands-sweat way that you truly were.
Besides, even if you were the most confident person in the world (you were far from it), and if Eddie didn’t, for some inexplicable reason, hate you, you were sure that you would have absolutely no chance with him anyway. Because why would Eddie Munson, all crooked smiles and sure steps and kind eyes, be even the least bit interested in you? It was inconceivable. Because you were shy and scared and binary and everything he was not.
So, you’d deduced that you were doomed to wait out this life-ruining crush the same way you’d been doomed to wait out countless other things in your high school life: silently.

Today was no different than the other nearly insufferable first periods you’d endured this school year, aside from the fact that today was Monday, which brought with it a more tired you, and a much, much more irritable Ms Taylor.
She’d assigned two detentions so far this period, to Bradley Green and Doug Mitchell, two boys from the basketball team that had been throwing spitballs and harassing Eddie, who merely smirked at them in response, effectively egging them on.
You glanced at the clock, tapping your foot subconsciously on the off-white tile below your feet.
5 minutes left, you reminded yourself, watching the clock tick down. Your hands started to clam up. Perfect.
You let out a shaky breath. A few rows in front of you, Pam Simpson and Diana Fiorelli glanced back, eyes zeroing in on you, before Pam snickered and leaned over to whisper into Diana’s ear.
This wasn’t new; they always had some off-color remark or an unnecessary eye-roll to throw at you ever since they found out about your close friendship with Steve Harrington, former king of Hawkins High.
How two nerds like yourself and Robin Buckley had managed to bag someone as popular as Steve the hair Harrington as a best friend seemed to be beyond them, and they sought everyday to punish you for it.
The truth was: Steve had left all of that behind. From the wake-up call that was his break-up with Nancy, to the whole fighting-monsters-from-another-dimension thing, he didn’t really care about it anymore. He’d found better friends in you guys. The whole Russians-in-Hawkins, and Starcourt “fire” helped too.
It was true what they said about trauma: it brought people together.
You tried to ignore their whispering, like Robin had encouraged you.
She was absolutely livid when she’d found out that Diana had “accidentally,” spilled her yogurt parfait over your new blouse last week. It had taken a whole five minutes of both you and Steve talking her down from her stupor to stop her from marching straight to the gymnasium, interrupting cheer practice, and giving Diana a black eye. After though, when you’d managed to calm your best friend down, she’d gone off—trying to convince you to stick up for yourself, to say something. If not to the mean girls themselves, then to Ms Taylor at the very least.
But that was the difference between you and Robin; where she would act, you would listen. Remain passive. It was a trait that served you well when it came to retaining information or solving upside-down-related issues, in situations like these, it kind of screwed you over.
You turned your head from the front of the classroom, blocking out Ms Taylor’s lecture on T. S. Elliot and instead turning your head to the desk beside yours. Eddie’s desk.
He was hunched over, head on his hands, which were crossed and folded on top of the desk in front of him. His chin rested there, and his dark eyes were focused on the board, squinting, as if trying to make out what it said.
He seemed to be trying to pay attention, a stark contrast to how you usually saw him hunched over around his worm notebook, scribbling or drawing.
He wore dark blue jeans today, instead of his usual black ones, and a Quiet Riot band T-shirt . His leather jacket was draped over the chair behind him, as Ms Taylor’s room was hot today. His hair fell messily over his back and in front of his face. His ringed fingers tapped on the desk—he was evidently as anxious for the class to end as you were.
You knew he had trouble focusing. You’d picked up on as much throughout the school year, watching him try and try and try to stay locked in to whatever Ms Taylor was teaching.
So many of your classmates had written him off: cult leader, satanist, idiot, freak, but you saw something different. The Eddie you knew (well, not really knew, more like observed) was none of those things. He was different, yes. Flamboyant, sure. But he was not an idiot. Nor was he evil or freakish or anything of the sort.
The ringing of the bell snapped you from your thoughts. You jerked your head back to your desk as your classmates began to pack up and bustle out to their next classes, the sound of backpacks zipping and chatter filling the classroom.
Per usual, Eddie was the first out of his seat, already packed and ready, before leaving the classroom with long strides, eyes trained on the floor, narrowly avoiding your gaze.
You shoved your notebook into your bag, bending over to zip it up and run like hell out of the classroom. You hoped to avoid any unnecessary contact with Pam and Diane. Ms Taylor cleared her throat, before saying your name.
“I’d like to see you for a moment, please,” she said monotonously, eyes focused on the grade book in front of her. A shot of anxiety spread through your stomach.
“Yes, Ms Taylor?” You asked quietly, noting that you were the only two people left in the classroom.
“You have one of the top grades in the class, second only to Mr. Levy, did you know that?” She asked, still not looking up. You puzzled. So you weren’t in trouble?
“Uh-I-no, I didn’t, actually.” You mumbled, brows furrowed.
“Indeed,” she hummed. “I also have been made aware that you are lacking an extracurricular for graduation, is that correct?”
Shit, you thought. She was right.
Last summer, you’d been set to take a summer gym elective; the ones that the school offered during the school year were too crowded and made your anxiety act up, so you and Robin had both signed up to take summer gym. However, the upside-down and the Russians’ presence in Hawkins at Starcourt had had other plans, so both you and her had failed the class, due to bad attendance. And while Robin had made sure to complete her gym credit last semester, you’d completely forgotten about the whole debacle until now.
“Yeah,” you breathed, in shock that you’d managed to forget about something so important when graduation was only months away. “I-I forgot—“
“I figured as much,” Ms Taylor cut you off, finally looking up at you. “Well, seeing as it’s too late in the semester to sign you up for any electives, it would seem that you’ll be having to repeat your senior year.”
Your breath left your lungs.
No, you thought, no, no, no. The last thing you could handle was another year stuck here. In this high school, in this city. You felt your breathing stutter at the thought.
“Luckily for you,” Ms Taylor continued, refocusing you on the moment. “I have a solution that may just save you from that.”
You blew out a breath between your lips, looking at her anxiously.
“Yes,” you breathed out. “Anything— I completely forgot about—“
“I trust you’re familiar with Mr. Munson?” She interrupted you. Your brows furrowed. What did Eddie have to do with this?
“Yes.”
“Well, then I’m sure you’re aware that this will be his second time repeating his senior year.” Ms Taylor looked up at you now, her beady eyes laser-focused. “If he fails again, the school won’t be giving him another chance. It would seem that this class is one of the only things standing between him and a one-way ticket out of this school.”
“I dont think I follow—“ you began.
“You will tutor Mr Munson.” She clarified, face stoic as ever. “From now until the end of the spring semester. If you do this, and if I see improvement, I will make it count as your extracurricular. You’ll be able to graduate on time, and he will get the hell out of my classroom for good.”
You were stunned—not only by the fact that you’d be forced into proximity Eddie Munson for the rest of the year, but the fact that Ms Taylor would speak so candidly about a student.
“I—I-“ you tried to articulate what to say next, but found you were unable to gather your thoughts.
“I can’t,” you finally managed, dumbly. Ms Taylor raised a thin eyebrow at you.
“Well,” she said. “It seems that unless you want to repeat your senior year, you don’t have much of a choice.”
“But, Ms Taylor, I—“
“Look,” she sighed your name. “You’re a smart girl. Mr Munson may be… a handful, but I promise he’s harmless. You will be fine. You can even meet on the school premises, if you’d feel better about that.”
Dear Lord, you didn’t know how to tell her that the reason why you couldn’t tutor him was not because of his reputation, or that you were scared of him, it was because you could barely form a coherent thought in his presence.
“Are we clear?” She asked, arms crossed. You tried to speak, but your mouth was dry. You just gulped and nodded.
“Good,” she smiled tightly. You sighed, turning to leave, already knowing you’d be late to your next class. She called your name as you began to exit, your hand on the door handle.
“Just know, I will be checking weekly with Mr Munson to see how tutoring is going. So don’t think that if you fail to show up I won’t know.”
You nodded, shutting the door behind you as you left.
Great. No escaping it. What if you embarrassed yourself? What if he really did hate you? What if—
“Hey.”
You jumped, too caught up in your thoughts to even notice the tall, lanky figure leaning up against the lockers next to Ms Taylor’s classroom.
“Jesus, sorry.” Eddie looked at you with wide eyes, an arm coming to steady you on your shoulder. “Didn’t mean to scare you.”
When you just stared at him, he cleared his throat, removing his hand from your shoulder. A part of you mourned the loss.
“So, uh,” he began, looking down at his feet as he walked alongside you. You tried not to notice the faint scent of his cologne that sent a thrill through your gut. “So I guess she told you? About the tutoring?”
When his curly head snapped up to meet your eyes, you quickly faced forward, realizing that you’d been ogling his side profile while he was stumbling over his words. You nodded in confirmation.
“Ok,” he said, rubbing his hands on his legs. “Ok,” he repeated, stopping and turning to face you. “I’m just gonna cut the bullshit: I really, really need the help in this class.” His eyes were a bit wild, panicked. Like he thought you were going to run away from him the moment you got a chance. “Like, ‘really,’ as in, if I don’t pass, I don’t graduate. And I know you really don’t wanna do this, and she’s forcing you, and that you hate me, and you’re scared of me, and all that, but if you could please—please— just help me get through this class, I will make it as painless as possible spending all the time with me.”
By the end of his little speech, he looked frantic, like he was pleading—and you suppose he was. And before you could stop yourself, you just nodded, looking at him dumbly, before remembering to speak.
“I’ll help you pass.” Was all you could manage.
He sighed a breath of relief, running a hand down his face.
“Thank you,” he said, and you could’ve sworn it was the most sincere you’d ever heard him. “Thursday after school in the library sound good?”
- - - -
You arrived early, because, of course you did.
To say you were nervous would be an understatement; you were terrified. Mostly of making an even bigger fool of yourself than you had earlier in the week.
You’d spent the better part of the last three days poring over your last interaction with Eddie in the hallway, when he’d begged you to tutor him, and you’d gotten about five words in edgewise.
He’d practically accused you of hating him, and instead of correcting him—like you’d been dying to do for the whole semester—you stood there like an idiot.
You wished you’d told him then and there in that hallway that he was wrong; that you weren’t scared of him, and that you didn’t hate him. That you were just shy and awkward and he unnerved you. So, you decided to do just that.
Last night, while finally talking through the whole situation with Robin, you’d decided that the first words you’d say to him would be: “I’m not scared of you and I don’t hate you.”
It was a bit abrasive and to-the-point, you knew that. But, you also knew that if you let him get a word in before that, you’d lose your nerve. At least this way, you got your point across.
Your eyes ran over the page of your book for what felt like the fiftieth time. You sighed, throwing the worn novel down on the table.
There was no way you’d be able to get any reading done, not with your nerves eating you alive.
The book wasn’t that good anyway. You had no clue what Robin meant when she said Hemingway was ‘profound.’
You sighed again, eyes finding the clock in the library.
He was five minutes late.
You felt something deflate inside you. Maybe he’d been bluffing about the whole thing, or maybe he’d changed his mind and wouldn’t show. Your mind ran with the possibilities.
The library was sparse at this time.
It was just past three, and most students had already rushed out of the building. It was Thursday, which meant that the town was just waking up for the weekend. It wasn’t uncommon for friend groups to have small get-togethers, or even for one of the bigger cliques to throw a party.
In fact, Steve had managed to convince Robin and yourself to attend one later that night. Which was a feat, because you didn’t make a habit of going out.
It was at Darren’s house: one of the few friends from high school that Steve actually kept up with after, y’know, everything.
Robin was hoping Vicky would be there. You were just hoping to let loose a little.
With all this business with Eddie and your impending (maybe) graduation, your nerves had been through the roof. A party was just what you needed to calm down.
“Sorry,” he appeared out of nowhere, and before you could stop yourself, you jumped.
“Sorry!” Eddie rushed out, slumping down in the chair across from you. “Really, I’m sorry. I don’t mean to scare you all the time. Sorry I’m late.”
You stared at him.
God, he was pretty.
His hair was big and frizzy, per usual, and fell around his face as a halo. His brown eyes were wide and almost doe -like, and his cheeks were rosy with exertion.
He must have been running, you thought. But why? He wasn’t that late.
“Were you running?” You blurted before you could think. Your brows furrowed as you looked at him.
“Uhhhh, yeah,” he drawled. “Yeah, I ran into some trouble getting here.”
“What trouble?”
“The usual.” Eddie rubbed his eyes, and for the first time since he’d sat down, you noticed how disheveled he looked.
His white tee shirt was stained on the shoulder with what looked like… fruit?
“Is that… food on your shoulder?”
“Shit,” his gaze snapped to his shoulder. “Yeah, uhm. It’s jello.”
Eddie looked… embarrassed. For the first time in the time you’d known him, he looked sheepish.
“Was it Jason?”
“That obvious?” He laughed mirthlessly. In fact, it was a little menacing.
“He’s a dick.” You said without thinking.
Eddie just nodded, staring down a place on the table.
“Are you okay?”
He looked at you, dark eyes guarded.
He seemed to be sizing you up, eyes following you up and down. But his usual playfulness was gone. Instead, he looked almost… forlorn.
“Uh, yeah.” His lips lifted into a humorless smile. “Just done with this bullshit, I guess.”
“Hmm,” you hummed.
“I’m tired of people looking at me like I’m a freak. I’m tired of not behind able to fucking walk to class in peace, I’m tired of people being fucking,” he slammed his hands on the table in front of you. When you jump, he throws them up. “Scared of me!”
You stay silent for a moment, letting him stew and collect himself. After a few seconds, Eddie sighs.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t—“
“I’m not scared of you, and I don’t hate you.”
“—mean to—what?”
“I’m not scared of you.” You repeated, wiping your clammy hands on your jeans. “And I don’t hate you, like you said on Monday. I’m Im just,” you stopped to take a breath. “It’s just hard for me sometimes. With… new people.”
“You sure? Because you look scared to me.”
“You aren’t helping.”
Eddie shivered, rubbing at the jello-colored stain on his shoulder.
“Do you… want to change?” You asked shakily.
“What?”
“Nevermind,” you rushed out, shaking your head. “It’s nothing. You just—looked cold. I have an extra sweatshirt.”
“And you think it would fit me?”
“I like to wear them a few sizes too big.” You added lamely.
Eddie contemplated you for a moment, before sighing.
“What the hell,” he said half to himself. “Why not?”
After he pulled the lilac crew neck over his head, he smiled.
“Okay,” he chuckled. “I’m sorry. Thank you for doing this. I know it can’t be great for your…image.”
You snorted at that.
“Yeah, my image isn’t exactly suffering.”
“Yeah?” He leaned forward, setting his chin on his fists.
God, his forearms. You forced yourself to look away.
“Yeah. Not exactly prom queen here.”
“Eh, prom queen is overrated.”
You laughed, your own crinkling eyes meeting his. You thought you saw his eyes soften as they looked at you. The vision of him there, in front of you, made your stomach flip.
You cleared your throat, turning to your notes in front of you.
“So,” you straightened your notebook. “Ready to talk about T. S. Elliot?”
- - - -
The party was loud. Mötley Crüe boomed through the speakers that Darren’s rich family had in what seemed like every room.
You silently thanked Darren for having good music taste. The party would have been unbearable otherwise.
You sighed as you walked out the back door of the house. The inside had gotten a bit too stuffy for you, and with Robin trailing after Vickie and Steve reconnecting with one of his old flames, you were flying solo for the time being.
You brushed your jeans with your hands before sitting down on the back step, a lukewarm rum and coke in the solo cup in your hand.
You felt yourself deflate.
As a senior in high school, this was the closest you’d come to actually living.
While Robin had had her fair share of secret flings and parties and Steve had lived a wild four years of high school, you were just… there.
At eighteen years old, you felt like you’d missed out. Been robbed. The Upside Down had something to do with that, you supposed. Fighting for your own and the kids’ lives from Russians and other-worldly demon creatures tends to do that. Still, it didn’t stop your friends from living. You felt like you’d let your teen years pass you by, but mostly, you felt pathetic.
Sure, you had the grades, but rather than that? You had nothing to show for your time at Hawkins High.
“Hey tutor,” the smooth drawl came from the side of the house. You’d know it anywhere.
Eddie rounded the corner of the house, approaching where you were sitting on the back step.
He wore the same black jeans he wore earlier today, but his jello-stained shirt and your lilac crew neck were gone, replaced by a t-shirt with what looked like Judas Priest’s logo. His arms were crossed over his chest, covered by the black leather he wore more often than not.
“Hey,” you offered lamely, rubbing your hands together.
“What ya doing out here all alone?” He came to stop in front of you, his chunky combat boots taking up your line of vision.
“Just…taking a breather.” You smiled up at him, tight-lipped.
“Hmm,” he hummed. “Scoot over, then. It’s a little too… preppy for me in there.”
You obliged, scooting over a few feet so he could sit next to you. As he dropped down on the concrete step next to you, he was close enough that you caught his scent.
It was deep, some kind of cologne, mixed with cigarette smoke and a hint of what you knew was weed.
“So…” Eddie bumped his shoulder into yours. “Thought this wasn’t your crowd?”
“It’s not,” you pressed your hands between your knees. “Robin and Steve dragged me here. I thought it would help me… unwind.”
“Robin… she’s in band right?”
You nodded.
“And Steve… I don’t think I know that one.”
You chuckled.
“You definitely do,” you peeked over at him, eager to see his reaction. “Uh, Steve Harrington?”
Eddie looked at you like you grew a second head.
“The hair?” He asked incredulously.
“The very same,” you nodded.
“God, sweetheart.” Eddie shook his head. “I’m beginning to question the company you keep.”
Your heart leapt at what he called you. Sweetheart.
“I know, I know,” you held out your hands. “He was an asshole. But he’s different now.”
“I find that hard to believe.”
“He is!” You turned to Eddie defensively. “I wouldn’t be friends with him if he was still the way he used to be. He isn’t like…”
“Jason?” Eddie raised an eyebrow at you. “Like Pam and Diana?”
“Exactly.” You nodded. “He’s still… peppy. He just lost all the bad parts.”
“Hmm,” he crossed his arms. “I’ll take your word for it.”
A moment of silence passed between the two of you, the only sounds being your breath and the roar of the party inside. Your breaths swirled in the chilly air around you.
“Why are you here?” You spoke finally. “You said this wasn’t your scene.”
“It’s not,” he shrugged, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a little baggy filled with green substance. “I’m, uh, supplying the party favors.”
You snorted at that.
“These things good business?”
“You have no idea.” He nodded to the inside of the house. “A lot of these kids’ allowance is more than what my uncle makes in a week.”
You hummed, content to just sit in silence.
Eddie tilted his head at you, leaning his chin on his hands again like he did earlier in the library. He tilted his cheek toward you, an easy smile on his lips.
“So, why are you really out here, tutor-girl?” He looked at you curiously. “You look upset.”
You drew a heavy breath, before sighing.
“It’s dumb.” You picked at your nails.
“Try me.”
“I feel like..” you looked up, before turning to Eddie. “I feel like I’ve missed out. I’m a senior, I’m graduating this year, and I have done nothing.”
Eddie’s eyebrows furrow, but he doesn’t move to interrupt you. He only leans further toward you, spurring you to continue. The alcohol gave you the rest of the confidence you lacked.
“All my friends have had their little rebellions. Their flings, all of it. And I have done nothing, except drink shitty booze and nearly lose my mind.”
You blew a deep breath once you’d finished. Somehow, you felt even worse—more pathetic—now that you’d vocalized it.
But Eddie didn’t look at you like you were pathetic. Instead, he looked pensive, hand on his chin as he contemplated. It was your instinct to backtrack.
You moved to stand
“Sorry. That was a lot. Nevermind. Let’s just forget I—“
“No, no, don’t apologize.” He grabbed your arm and gently pulled you back to sit beside him. “Especially after what I dumped on you earlier.”
Your cheeks were red, you could tell. Whether that be because of the combination of the alcohol and the confession, you couldn’t tell.
“Hmm,” Eddie hummed, still thinking. You snuck a glance over at him and noticed a wry smile on his face. “Let’s fix it then.”
“What?”
“We have til May, don’t we? That’s eight months. Your senior year isn’t over yet.”
You laughed nervously.
“I couldn’t ask you to do that—“
“You’re not! I’m offering. Consider it payback for all the hours you’ll be tutoring me in Taylor’s class.”
“Okay…”
“Okay.” Eddie smiled. “It’s a deal, then .”

I Wish You Would
Tumblr media
(gotta keep that Taylor Swift theme)
Anthony Lockwood x f!reader
Content: Angst? Fluff? Touched starved Lockwood
Warnings: Mention of blood and wounds, also some curse words (I think)
Characters: Anthony Lockwood and (y/n) Kipps. (Lucy Carlyle and Quill Kipps also appear)
Word count: 1.083
A/N: Exactly two people told me to post it, and that was enough (I'm literally about to enter to an online class while typing this). Chronology speaking, this goes BEFORE their first kiss but I'm a dumbass and forgot to post this one first, hope you like it
(I'll attach their first kiss here)
“Where were you?” Quill asked, seeing both Lockwood and (y/n) walk in with dirt on their faces and hair. As soon as he spoke, his sister’s face told him to not speak, unless he wanted to die.
“We’re fine!” (y/n) said, grabbing Lockwood by the arm and walking to the kitchen.
“You guys don’t look-” Lucy started, but the slamming of the door cut her off.
“Sit”
“I’m not your dog”
“And I don’t care” (y/n) said, pointing at the kitchen chair “sit down”
Lockwood did as she said, even though he didn’t want to. (y/n) started taking out items from the first aid kit, slamming them on the table as she cursed.
“I cannot fucking believe you” she said “seriously, why is it so hard for you to take care of yourself while we’re out on a case?” (y/n) asked, soaking a small piece of cotton with disinfectant. She grabbed Lockwood’s arm, forcefully moving the sleeve of his dress shirt up to see his cut better.
“(y/n) I-” Lockwood started, hissing when the cotton made contact with the cut on his arm.
“This might hurt” (y/n) said, after hearing him hissing, a smirk on her face.
“Okay” Lockwood said “I deserved that”
“You deserve more” (y/n) said “actually, you don’t even deserve me doing this for you, should I just tell my brother to do it, so you suffer a bit more?” she questioned, sarcasm all over her voice.
“(y/n)-”
“You know, when Luce told me you were reckless, I thought 'well, he's certainly not stupid' guess I was wrong!” she grabbed one of the big band aids and covered his cut.
“(y/n) I’m sorry, okay?” he said “this wasn’t reckless, I had a plan, it just didn’t work”
“Wow, what a surprise”
“I didn’t know the golden blade was gonna be there!”
“The what?” (y/n) stood up, forgetting about his other cuts.
“Last year we encountered him” Lockwood explained “we think he somehow works for Penelope Fittes-”
“My boss?”
“Yes” Lockwood nodded “he tried to steal the bone glass from Lucy and I” he explained “he’s also the one who shot me” he grabbed her hand “you have to believe me”
(y/n) looked at his eyes, processing what he had said in silence, enough to make Lockwood panic, the hold on her hand tightening.
“I… I believe you” she said, sitting back down. She wasn’t gonna lie, she always felt a weird vibe from the woman, or the entire agency for that matter. And she didn’t think Lockwood would lie to her.
He sighed in relief “Thank you (y/n)-”
“What I also believe” she started, letting go of his hand and grabbing a new cotton piece “is that your other cuts need to be taken care of” she said “specially this one” she tapped slightly the cut on his forehead, making him hiss again “I thought you were good at fencing?”
“I am” Lockwood shot back “I was just… surprised”
“Your blood says otherwise” (y/n) replied “now, lean closer so I can help”
Lockwood only nodded and whispered a small ‘yes’, letting her do the work and leaning closer as she instructed. As she leaned in, she quickly realized how her back was going to kill her if she did that, so she grabbed her chair and dragged it a bit closer to his, eventually ending up with her thigh in the middle of his thighs.
Lockwood chuckled “you might as well sit on my lap if you-”
“Shut up or I’ll do it” she cut him off with a smile.
He smirked “be my guest”
She ignored him, grabbing the back of his head to steady it as she disinfected the cut across his forehead. She was focused, focused on cleaning the blood and figuring out which bandage to use, but Lockwood’s wandering hands on her knee were distracting her.
It started with his fingers, slowly tapping her knee, barely noticeable, and she wouldn’t have known if he hadn’t kept going at it. His fingers slid across her knee and (y/n) made her best to ignore it, but as she stood up to change the cotton piece, he pushed her leg open, causing her to fall on his lap.
“That’s better” he said, smirk on his lips again.
“Lockwood-”
“Please” he said, voice so quiet she barely heard him.
She looked at his eyes, and for one moment she saw his mask crack. His dark circles and clenched jaw showed her how tired and stressed he was. She couldn’t even imagine how much his muscles ached after the fight, let alone the throbbing of the multiple cuts on his skin.
“Fine” she whispered, not trusting her own voice with the feeling of his hands on her waist.
She kept doing her thing in silence and he just watched her, tracing small circles on her sides with his thumbs. (y/n) just wanted to close her eyes and enjoy it, enjoy his touch on her skin and wish she could feel it for longer, to forget about the case, the fight, everything. She wanted to focus on him and him only.
“There” she said, breaking whatever spell was between them. She grabbed his chin, angling his face to admire the, now taken care of, cut “you’ll live”
He chuckled, smiling truthfully for the first time that night, or since (y/n) knew him, she didn’t care. She liked the small glow on his face.
They locked eyes, the blanket of silence settling on them again. (y/n)’s fingers slid across his chin towards his jaw, making him close his eyes and just enjoy her touch. His hands started moving up her waist, slowly, also making her want to close her eyes and enjoy, but she still leaned forward, closer and closer to him.
He felt it, the weight shift on his lap, some of her curly locks tickling his shoulders.
She could feel their lips almost touching.
The door opened, making her open her eyes wide and snap her neck so hard she wondered if this is how she was going to die. That would be better than the image she saw.
Both Lucy and her brother were standing at the doorstep. (y/n) stumbled off Lockwood’s lap, feeling his hands fly away from her and almost fell. Chair and all.
She gripped the thinking cloth “I was tending his cut” she stupidly said.
She could feel how Quill resisted the urge to pinch the bridge of his nose as she looked at him.
“You sure were”

A/N: I feel like this scene and the other one are pretty similar, so if I do write the fanfic I'll change it, but let me know what you think! (Again, be nice)

TOWL SPOILERS BELOW!!!!!!
enough time has passed and i’m impatient so here it is. episode two debriefing! ❤️‍🔥
danai and andy’s chemistry is unparalleled and has never been executed so well before by any other actors. their words, emotions, and energy into bringing these characters to life in such a tender way is something absolutely so enigmatic and goshshfgshdhsn i just love them. i love their dynamic and their power to create such an immaculate foundation that will always be such a memorable piece for all of us as fans of this franchise. 🫶🏼
michonne and nat deserved more time. point blank period. i sobbed violently and had to pause the episode for ten minutes. i loved his dynamic with michonne and how much impact his character had in under 40 minutes of screen time. missing him forever and ever. and not to be an asshole but their relationship is what the dude-bros wanted rick and okafor’s association to be ! tell me i’m wrong.
dana from a group of 40 people with her sister el. yaaaas go girl! she’s a b your honor please believe her!!! she’s totally not a badass powerhouse wife and mother of two who’s experienced more in her life than the crm ever have!!!
it’s FUCK the crm forever actually. CHLORINE GAS? killing the pregnant lady and her boyfriend???? im distraught. the most disgusting group of people to ever exist apart from the saviors. hoping to see their entire base burn to the ground by the end of this series !!!! <3
RICHONNE REUNITING AFTER CHOOSING TO GIVE UP HOPE TO FIND EACH OTHER 😭😭😭 the universe loves them soooo much they’re like this 🤞 when it comes to fate. i am still actively emotional over all of their scenes. they’re sooo in love with each other it hurts. i’m still on cloud nine just from seeing them kiss (and moan omg!) so excuse me. ❤️‍🩹
michonne cradling rick’s face and rick nuzzling into her hands? THAT IS HER BABY POOKIE SUGAR PLUM CRISP. keep them together! they cannot be separated!
jadis can die with all due disrespect. she ruined everything. it’s been her fault since the start. she separated them. she’s the reason that rj doesn’t know his father and only knows of his legendary stories. fuck her. d*e!
rick asking about jude multiple times :((( his baby. bring him home to his kids PLEASE. must’ve been such a shocker to hear him ask about his daughter and not daryl or negan oh no! abused, kidnapped father finds the love of his life and wants to make sure that their daughter is still okay after being away from her for a decade! SHOCKER! WOW. this is shocking news! 🙀
the scenes of michonne and nat having to rebuild their health after the chlorine gas bomb was so heartbreaking but powerful. michonne working out and continuing to push herself by being reminded of her strength, grief, and love. she is so strong and i’m so proud of her. i hate the crm.
“shoto? shoto?” PUNCHING ME IN THE GUT WOULD HURT LESS. meanwhile judith is also trying to reach out but their signal is too far gone for them to do so. 😭 pleaseeee i just need one future scene of them reuniting. michonne loves them so much she is the best mother ever. ❤️‍🩹
okay!!!!! that’s all that i have for now. still collecting my thoughts after this episode but i love my tv parents more than life. so happy to have them back and i can’t wait for the next four episodes!!!!!!!

new jim hardcore smp....... 30 days...... watching the vod............ this is so long im so sorry. i cant stop noting every little detail.
members (might miss some. just saying ones that join or are mentioned): jimmy, martyn, bekyamon, sneegsnag, fwhip, mogswamp, joel, sausage, lizzie, oli, "all the life series crew (but none of them responded)", scott, aimsey (jimmy says later theres "about 14 of us")
martyn almost dies immediately i think. he joins and almost instantly starts complaining about a zombie at spawn.
bekyamon DOES die immediately via skeleton. jim does the thing where he goes dead silent.
Tumblr media
jimmy revives her after a moment of trying to figure out how to. he got someone to do it for him (i think an off-screen admin. like sonam life series)
he places down a crafting table ONLY to craft sticks then picks it up again. this isnt important i just thought it was funny. he then places it down again 5 seconds later
on the way to find stone hes met by sneeg and martyn in a boat. they all spend the first night together. cute. sneeg gets inside their makeshift cave and immediately goes afk (to talk to his chat i think)
Tumblr media
jimmy: two dudes chilling in a dark cave, (places 2 dirt between him and martyn) two blocks apart...
martyn: NOT IN PRIDE MONTH!! (runs around the dirt)
^ they then both do the AYYYYY! thing which i think is cute.. big dogs will always be real. they keep talking about league of legends and i dont know whats happening.
jim and martyn go out at night to get resources. jimmy crashes while mining coal around some gravel and he crashes....... he has the falling block glitch,,, martyn crashed too i think (update: they all have it. i think its caused by mods not installing properly but its probably server side since its everyone? or fwhip messed up since jim said fwhip organised a folder for everyone to install.)
jimmy finds a village! on the way he has a close call with a creeper and he then raids it. he mentions football but then hes like "you dont care do you. no worries" TALK ABOUT YOUR INTERESTS ON YOUR STREAAMMMMM i mean what
chat keeps telling him to kill a golem. he resists for a bit before doing it. "you know what. ive gave in to peer pressure. im going to kill him." he then kills the golem and he goes ooo or yeah for every hit.
lizzie joins and he starts BEGGING her to not die first. "lizzie, lizzie, listen to me, if youre watching the stream still. you CANNOT be the first one to die. lizzie, please. please, please. do not be the first one to die, please. you cant have that title. you cannot have this title." (lizzie then says im gonna live so hard and he laughs. but jimmy what the hell was that about)
lizzie then mentions in chat that theres powdered snow at spawn and jimmys IMMEDIATELY like not my fault. the server did that. ???????????? WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM LIKE ACTUALLY i need to study him get in my lab boy
chat asks if its gonna be made into videos. he says its only going to be streamed. jimmy please hire someone to edit down your streams. please
jimmy makes it very clear that he wants to survive all 30 days. i believe in him
LIZZIES HERE shes in her empires season 2 dress skin. ?????? she forgot to install all the mods
Tumblr media
she then leaves and sausage arrives by yelling DADDY JIM?????? (jimmy then says "first time someones called me daddy! wow!" to which saus goes "LIES. LIES. LIES!!" and jim says "well. you know. we dont talk about what we do in our spare time-" ?!!?!?!!?!?!)
lizzie then rejoins and it makes both of them jump. lizzie explains the skin by saying she likes to use the skins she doesnt wear much in between series. thats so cute i cant do this
sausage says his sos builds were him "holding back". i am scared of him i think
lizzie wants to test if you can still jump off cliffs in boats. she then goes into a ravine (and lands in water so it isnt even a test) and realises that she did just jump into a ravine with a total of 0 resources. she gets out fine :)
they talk about saving the villagers and lizzie tries to. seduce one of them into going inside the house. then sausage tries to seduce the SAME villager.
sausage has a gapple already???? he tries to give it to jimmy but jimmy gives it back.
jim and lizzie talk about joel. jimmy: "i wish i could spend some quality time with him, you know?" lizzie: "yeah me too, me too man" they then start talking about him. like wanting custody over him. like some strange pet. jimmy and lizzie and the weird thing they found on the street. jimmy explicitly refers to joel as "our man" which i think is kind of gay.
jimmy and lizzie and sausage go mining together. this is such a great trio im so happy. they go into one of those shitty little caves and mythical "builder" sausage starts texturing the entrance. someone put him in a creative world its good for his enrichment.
sausage picked the seed :) every biome is close by
lizzie keeps taming cats and im scared she isnt going to stop.
honestly the mining trip is really chill... its just the three of them hanigng out and talking. very fun. sausage meows when hes nervous. lizzie has just found out that hardcore means the server is set to hard. they also all remember that cats scare creepers and theyre having a great time. lizzie has no armour and reaches 1 heart.
sausages texturing is an ongoing bit and its so fucking funny they keep encouraging him. sausage this whole cave needs texturing.
Tumblr media
oli wants to know where jimmy is. this gives hey girl i mean they energy and i cant explain it. jimmy says "we" are in a hole atm and oli goes full jealous bf mode on him. he calls him kitten. i cant do this
Tumblr media
the gang finds a lush cave and sausages texturing bit gets even funnier. hes so happy about moss. unfortunately theres like a million mobs.
aimsey asks in chat if someone can sleep so jimmy does. he says it was him and aimsey says "YAY!!!!! you are my new favourite" while scott says "youre so hot for that". jimmy does not acknowledge either of them. winning the idgaf war.
sausage combat logs in between a bunch of mobs. lizzie combat logs a moment later. leaving jimmy alone to fight all the mobs (its like a single creeper and skeleton) and jimmy is SO annoyed about it. he'll never forget this.
they both join again but lizzie has to leave :( she goes back to the surface to log out safely
sausage is visibly upset about caving day 1. he yearns to build. he really really wants to build. did you know he wants to build. he wants a starter house. he doesnt want to be in the caves.
they see some gravel and jimmys like be careful. dont touch it cuz of the glitch. sausage then goes wait can i hit it here? and the game IMMEDIATELY crashes. jimmy is devastated. like clutching his head hitting his desk. hes worried hes gonna fall to his death cuz he was placing blocks.
Tumblr media
they both rejoin at about the same time. turns out what saus did (i think) is he tried to break a single piece of gravel that he THOUGHT wasnt connected to anything. but it was. it was connected to a lot of things actually. so they both crashed
they start to go back up and they find oli!!! oli starts playing the oli and jim theyre just two guys song. hes actually so jealous boyfriend "explain to me why i have that song ready and youre spending time in a hole with OTHER men by the way!?" he also says kitten again. i cant do this. oli tries to modify the oli and jim song to oli and oli. he chills out quickly then starts playing their talent show song
they go back to the surface and oli starts talking about wanting (armadillo) scutes (for dog armour) and a dog. while oli is talking about dogs jimmy is just. zoomed in on his feet. sausage just says he will give oli 10 gifted subs if he shows his feet on stream. they get on him for being too direct and not being pg. as if they were being perfect little angels. ok oli and jim.
they all start talking over each other about lore and i cant hear anything except jimmy going "IM THE DADDY OF THIS SERVER!" and oli going "NO YOURE MY KITTEN YOURE MY KITTEN YOURE MY KITTEN YOURE MY LITTLE KITTEN MAN"
jimmy leaves to get food. he comes back and briefly passes oli and saus and i just hear oli calling sausage kitten too. i dont know what this new bit is and im too scared to ask.
all three of them go on a little boat ride to find more people. jimmy wrote a sea song yesterday and its really fun and catchy.......
they eventually run into martyn and sneeg. i think a thing about this smp is going to be me not being able to hear anything. theres a minimum of 3 people talking at any given time. the boats end up as jim/martyn, sneeg/oli, and saus. oli changes oli and jim to oli and sneeg.
i genuinely think theres like maybe 2 braincells between them all because as soon as someone says something they all start repeating it
oli and jimmy separate off. theyre looking for some place to live and they realise the spot they want is where scott is. so they make a bit out of trying to move into the area without anyone noticing theyre there. scott tries to talk to them and theyre like heyyyyyyy we didnt notice you here aha. ahaha. for context the area is like. a massive hole in the ground thats not a cave but its just. a pit. scott and aimsey call it the donut jimmy and oli call it the disc.
oli says "has there ever been a disc war" and i was thrown so hard into 2020. they then speak over each other but jimmys like (to scott) YOU FRUSTRATE ME! I AM FRUSTRATED! and oli says that oli/jim are the disc heads. surely nobody is going to mispronounce this. just a couple of disc heads. ok mr pg. their house is the discheads disc den and they keep saying it really fast and i think somethings going to go wrong.
martyn and sausage and sneeg turn up and within like a second olis like "we love riding disc in this house" and saus says "ill ride that disc" i dont like either of them at all. then oli shoos jimmy away to convince sneeg to call it the disc and not a donut (probably to say something not pg). whatever he said it worked cuz by the time jimmys back hes calling it the disc. mog turns up at some point during this too.
jimmy walks off and finds a whole bunch of dogs.... he got one of the new ones. woods wolf? idk its very cute. he goes back to the group and mog gets exiled for calling the hole a donut. jimmy mines for like 5 minutes then ends. :p next stream monday and theres another build and seek video tomorrow
Me and Liau read this ask together a few days ago and all of this OOC is the funniest shit. But also I don't think it'd be bearable for me to watch lol (minimum of 3 people speaking at a time sounds god awful. I'm just not the type of person to be able to watch that without getting really overwhelmed. Sobs) so I lay you extra thanks for updating me!! Also the humor sense is uhh. This is really starting to feel like one of those fan-made Life Series where it's mostly kids whose humor sense is primarily sex jokes. Once again OOC this all gave me a good laugh but oh my god I would not personally be able to get through this
Aughhh him and Lizzie talking about Joel though.... their man... yeah it's gay. Jimmy needs to be adopted into hermitcraft so bad dude these two never stop proclaiming how much they miss each other. End my misery
How dare Sausage and Lizzie combat log and leave Jimmy to fend for himself.... Jimmy should start murdering... also the bit with Sausage hurts my brain noooo all I can think is that miserable Jimmy does just. fuck Sausage I guess. Because he gets little affection from anyone else and Sausage is the only one to actively reach out to him and offer anything of the sort and Jimmy just takes it and has led himself to believe that he likes it this way when he just doesn't have any other options to get the affection he desires but is unable to ask for it from anyone himself. The trauma and all. Ugh I'm sorry Sausage enjoyers I cant with him
And Oli is so weird about him too lmao what are they doing!! But I can accept Oli, he's funny to me. The way he goes to comedic extremes at any inconvenience in his relationship with Jimmy to quickly switch back around is funny to me. He doesn't compare to Sausage. He could do Jimmy some good. The blonde boyfriends have my approval even if Oli is the way he is
I love when Jimmy just proclaims how he's feeling. "THAT FRUSTRATES ME. I AM FRUSTRATED" why is he such a stupid little thing I love him
Mog getting exiled immediately for referring to the hole wrong is really funny. I'm so sorry Mog
