I may be wrong but I get the sense that SKZ is on such a tight leash compared to NMIXX and other groups who are around the same seniority as SKZ. What I mean by that is they don't really drink on camera (maybe that's the group's choice, idk) but they also rarely/almost never appear on those trendy variety shows hosted by another idol, and then the whole haircut things with Lee Know you mentioned. I'm not saying other groups have it easy I know it's a tough industry, but I just get the sense they're super censored and it's strange given how old the members are and how senior the group is at this point.

Oh no I'm sure you're right, I mean they've directly said that staff didn't want them mentioning drinking Too Much on camera, see: Seungmin in the anniversary live last March (still waiting for their drinking limits to be revealed) and Changbin in that interview he did, I think it was with Innie... can't remember off the top of my head. The other dudes have def mentioned it here or there, too. And then we have the Han Event. Like he just directly told everyone he got in trouble from staff for even Slightly showing his tattoos off. Its fundamentally ridiculous that they're getting a 24 year old dude in trouble for showing off his own tats. So I don't think it's wrong to assume they are on a tighter leash than other jyp groups, although I will say Haewon recently recieved a comment from JYP on her final ep of workdol that essentially told her to watch her idol image and it was such a bitchy little snipe at her that it annoyed me- plus it's especially funny bc that series was wildly popular and Haewon is becoming very, very beloved in Korea so scolding her is so ??? Like yeah tell her to lessen her winning personality that people love, brilliant strategy. But again that was a comment from jyp, nmixx's direct staff don't seem to be on them in the same way skz's direct staff is. I presume, can't know for sure, but I presume that's probably where the differences are occuring?

Why they're so weird about shit is the actual confusing thing bc we know Han has tattoos and so do many other idols and we know they drink, not like they'd be out there promoting binge drinking or anything so why it's even a thing at all 🤷‍♀️

Can I get some Human anatomy tips ? I'd Google it but I like hearing from fellow cartoony artists. If you have no tips or anything u can just ignore me :)

All you gotta do to achieve good humans with accurate anatomy in your art is to only draw Canadians in the winter

Jokes aside, honestly just practice. There’s no quick and easy trick to do good anatomy, you have to put in the time. Study references, do billions of figure drawings, look at skeletons, bone structures, muscle and fat formations etc.

Dont just practice drawing people standing in the pick your character/sims stance. Draw ‘em walking, playing an instrument, playing a sport, (yoga is a good one for more complex pose practice).

Bear in mind this is coming from an art major, so I probably have snobbish opinions about the « right » way to draw lmao.

And if all else fails, just draw Canadians in winter.

TIPS FOR ALTERHUMANS WITH A SCHOOL UNIFORM / WHO WANNA BE SUBTLE:

- Make mini yarn tail keycains to hang on your bag

Teachers don't tend to care what kind of keycains you have as long as they aren't too big, and unless it's being worn like one, most people won't realise it's a tail. Of course it isn't ideal, but it's better than nothing.

- Draw the theta delta (therian symbol) on your pencil case/stationary

You could get into trouble for having something drawn on your hand/arm, so drawing it on your pencil case/stationary is the next best option. It still serves the same purpose of showing any other alterhumans that you are one too, but won't get you in trouble.

Of course this won't be for everyone, but if you are fine with your stationary having things drawn on then maybe try this.

- Decorate your bag with therian keycains/keychains that relate to your therio/kintype

This is similar to the first one. If you have any jewlery, it will probably be taken away, so you can't wear necklaces or bracelets with the theta delta or your therio/kintype on, but as I said before teachers don't care too much about keychains.

You might even be able to use jewlery as a keychain if you are able to take the charm off and put it on a clip (only do this if you are sure it will work - if you break your jewlery doing this then don't blame me).

- Wear a hat with ears on

There is a chance some teachers will confiscate your ears if you try to wear them at school, but as long as you aren't inside they won't take away your hat. It's pretty easy to find sun hats or wooly hats with animal (mostly cat) ears on.

The main problem with this is that people might be mean about it, but you can use the excuse that non-alterhumans wear animal hats all the time (this might not always work so be careful).

You could also wear headphones on the bus/in IT lessons that have ears on, but some teachers might not allow it.

Some coats also have ears on the hood.

- Put therian pins/pins of your therio/kintype on your bag

Very similar to the keychain one, you will most likely get into trouble for wearing pins on your clothing, but your bag is fine.

- Make the most of non uniform days

As long as you follow the non uniform dress code, you can pretty much wear all the gear you want. World book day is especially good for this, as any gear you wear won't be questioned as much. Just make sure you have a good explanation ready if anyone asks who you are dressed as.

Some of my favorites are:

"they're from [made up book], you probably haven't heard of it"

"I'm [animal character] as a human"

"I don't know, I panicked and just grabbed some random stuff from [younger sibling]'s room"

The main thing to be aware of is that people will probably still make fun of you if you wear a tail or ears, regardless of any excuses you give, but unless they actually find out about your alterhumanity it will probably die down over time.

- Wear gloves when you're outside

Fluffy gloves are the best subtle paws, as they feel just like paws and no one will ever question them (unless it's summer). You could even get paw print gloves, but they might be questioned.

Wish it could be faster but forcing the feeling is impossible. Begin with musical ritual. Scrolling walls of artful halls. Masticating prose. Sink and dwell and rot with a feeling caught.

And then a different part of the story retches to page. Like prepping a body for possession. Sometimes a spirit you didn’t expect comes calling with an embrace you can’t escape.

I wish the process was outline, drafts, edit, and edit, edit, edit, edit, etc. But I need to check the moon the bugs the wide space of tide

what apple pencil tips do u use ?

i assume this is a follow up to this ask where i briefly mentioned i use custom tips. but yea, i use this guy:

i've been using one tip for the past 7 months and it hasn't worn down or broken or scratched my screen at all. i had been purchasing normal apple pencil tips beforehand and they wouldn't last even half that time (even after i took off my textured screen protector). and tbh apple pencil tips cost a weirdly massive amt so i'm pretty happy i found these guys :)

they do snap under a lot of pressure tho. found this out the hard way when i tried to smush my pencil into a case and the metal rod just. Broke? idk. i personally don't draw with a lot of pressure on my pen, so it hasn't snapped while drawing for me. if u know that u put a lot of weight on ur pen tho, maybe be careful lol

more on pressure. i've found that the pen pressure sensitivity is pretty good, but i also don't rely on that too much in my art so ehh take that w/ grain of salt... i def don't feel as safe pressing down hard to get thicker lines (due to aforementioned pen snappage :C), but i adjusted pressure settings in procreate and that made everything better 👍

Procreate is one of those drawing applications where I’ll have been using it for 6 years and then watch a video called like “Top 10 things you didn’t know you could do in procreate!” with the expectation that it’ll just talk about like creating a color palette out of a photo or something else I’m already aware of only for the person to detach the color wheel and drag it around the screen while drawing
