Sometimes I feel like I’ve learned so much about being a system in the last year and that I am so knowledgeable and then I come on this site and read posts about DID/OSDD filled with words I don’t know. It’s a humbling reminder that there’s still so much to learn about my system and the community.

What does it mean to be Human?

-People are so ridiculous.

So utterly uncoordinated; so strange; so emotional; so logical; so... messy.

But how can something so dysfunctional be so beautiful?

I guess that's what it means to be Human.

To be a walking contradiction. Constantly swinging left and right, up and down. In every direction but the right one.

To make no sense ever. To be a defying cause of nature. To be a disturbance to its own home. A danger to itself and others. A killing machine capable of the unimaginable. To be a unifying grace in-between worlds.

To feel; irrationally. To think you're doing what's best just to realise you were wrong all along. That's what it is. A mistake. Everything is a mistake. The Human is an inevitable being. It can't help but commit mistake after mistake. It can't help but fall onto its own face. The Human is a mistake, something that perhaps went too far, farther than they should've gone.

But not all mistakes are bad mistakes. - Far from that.

To think; exaggeratedly. Have the necessary complexity to come up with new things, things that didn't exist before. To make something with what they have at hand. That's what it is.

To laugh. To make. To feel. To think. To destroy. To create. To contemplate. To move. To dream. To be.

That's what it is.

To experience is to be.

A film reel flashing in your mind at the simple realisation of life.

The beauty of imperfections.

To be full of flaws. To be perfectly... horrible.

To be beautiful is to be ugly.

Simple.

That's what it is.

I know I am emotional (hormonal), but I have to get this out of my chest.

Tomorrow marks four months (I think) since I posted the first part of chapter 1 of Fortis soli, Fortiores una. I'm not counting the little shit things I posted before.

In four months I've posted eleven chapters, several snippets and little stories. I've learned to use DAZ to be able to show visually my little universe.

And in these four months I've met several people that I can say are special and very dear to me, and only for them, all my insecurity and worthless feelings are paid off.

People that make fanart of my girl, people that leave LOVELY comments both in AO3 and here, people that like and reblog, people that send me asks (anon or not) that give me life.

People that have inserted my OC into their stories, or have created an OC to live in mine.

People that take time out of their day to make reviews of my shitty writing, or to compose a 12 HOUR PLAYLIST inspired by my OC and their relationship with COD men.

People that everytime they send me private messages they make my day brighter.

You lot know who you are, and I adore each of you. It's thanks to you that I keep writing.
