You're Breathtaking
H.R. Wells X Curvy Fem Reader
Summary: Our reader is having a hard time feeling good in her skin and can't help but compare herself to Iris and Caitlin. Though, with the happy go lucky Earth-19 Wells, he reminds her just how beautiful she is inside and out.
Content Warning ⚠️: 18+ READERS ONLY!mentions of insecurities, including weight and facial features (though very brief). Fluff and a little bit of steam, partial nudity😏
A/N: I wrote this because i was feeling pretty low and wanted a story where A Wells shows the reader how beautiful she is on the inside and out. Just like the person reading this story 😊

Everyone was in the cortex, taking advantage of the quiet afternoon of no meta activity. Barry stretched at his desk and stood Iris following, "I'm calling it a day," he looked at his fiancé and smiled, "I think im gonna' take my beautiful lady on a date." Iris smiled as he scooped her up and sped out of the cortex.
Caitlin smiled as her phone began to ring, and she smiled at her phone, "Julian wants to get dinner, so im heading out as well." She gave everyone a warm smile and a wave, "Have a goodnight."
Cisco and Y/N were the only two left as Wally and Jesse were on a running date. Cisco sighed and faced his friend, "Alright, Y/N, I dont feel like staying here, want to grab a drink?"
Y/N shrugged, "Maybe some other time i don't really feel like going out." Cisco nodded and took his stuff and bowed in front of her as a form of goodbye.
Y/N was left to her thoughts. She looked down at her stomach and crossed her arms around her torso. Feeling insecure, she looked at her reflection on the dark monitor and groaned. She couldn't help but compare her facial features to Caitlin and Iris. She thought those two women were absolutely stunning and felt her features paled in comparrison.
The sound of drum sticks against a desk pulled her out of her stupor. "Hey, H.R." she pushed a smile for her friend.
H.R. who was grinning ear to ear when he walked in, frowned knowing something was off with his friend, "What's wrong, Kitten?"
Y/N tried to smile bigger to ease the worry of his friend, "What are you talking about? I'm fine."
H.R. shook his head, "I may not be a genius, but i can tell when something is bothering someone. Especially if it's someone i care about," Y/N's cheeks began to warm under his gaze, "Talk to me, Y/N."
With a sigh, she began to divulge how she didn't feel as beautiful as Caitlin or Iris and feels like no one finds her attractive. H.R.'s heart broke as she poured her secrets to him, and when she finished, he went around to where she was sitting and engulfed her in a hug.
He pulled away and grabbed her hands, pulling her up. "Meet me in the speed lab in 10 minutes. Okay, Kitten?" She nodded, and he gave her a brief kiss on the cheek as he fled out of the coretex, his big grin returning to his face.
~10 minutes late~
Y/N walked into the speed lab and saw a full lengh mirror in the center. H.R. right next to it. "What's this?"
H.R smiled with mischief in his eyes, "Do you trust me?" Asking as he held out his hand.
She nodded and slid her hand into his. He twirled her, spinning her until her back was flush against his front, and she was forced to look at the mirror. H.R.'s hand splayed against her stomach a smirk on his face. Through the mirror, she saw him lean his head to her hear, " Take your dress off, Kitten."
His whispered command caused chills to ripple off her spine. She placed her hand over his, "Why?"
H.R smiled and looked at her eyes through the mirror, "Well, I want you to see what I see."
Y/N closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she grabbed the edge of her dress and lifted it over her head with H.R's help. Her black lace bra and panties on display on instinct she covered her stomach with her arms. H.R. grabbed her arms and pulled them from her, his breath hot on her ear, "Don't hide from me, Kitten."
Y/N shuddered a breath as his hands grazed her arms up and down, "What do you see?"
Y/N sighed, "I see someone who is plain, boring, unattractive."
H.R. began to leave a trail of kisses from her cheek to her shoulder blades, causing Y/N to moan. "That's not what I see." He paused and turned her to face him. He stared into her beautiful eyes and cupped her cheek, "I see a strong, beautiful, smart woman. That has big dreams and life goals. I see someone with passion." He lays his hand on her waist and pulls her closer to him. "I see a goddess of a woman. One who i am in awe of every day." He brought his face closer to hers, "someone who lied to me today."
That broke Y/N from her stupor, "How?" She questioned her voice above a whisper.
He smiled, resting his other hand on her hip, his thumb making small circles, "You said no one found you attractive. That was a lie. Because I believe you are the most beautiful woman i've ever had the pleasure of knowing. You just need to believe that yourself. You don't need me to tell you how amazing you are. The truth is life is brighter and happier with you in it, Kitten. You just need to see it for yourself."
A small tear fell against her cheek as she crashed her lips to his. As he pressed her against the mirror, they spent the rest of the evening with H.R. showing her just how much he loved her.

The Assignment (H.R. Wells x Reader, Chapter 4/4)
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3
Locating the cell block takes longer than expected, seeing as you've never actually set foot in this part of Headquarters. You never had a need to. Once a fugitive was caught, your job was done. Time to move on and find the next.
But you were not done with this one.
The familiar looking guard standing intimidatingly in front of the door you need access to eyes you up, trying to spot potential danger. But after realizing it's you, he loosens up.
“(Y/N), working late?”
“Yeah, my latest mission came with a lot of paperwork,” you lie. “I'm here to give my no-longer-fugitive a piece of my mind about the stuff he tried to pull... You know, before-” You make a slicing motion with your finger across your neck. The guard makes a face like he's impressed with your apparent ruthlessness.
“Hardcore,” he nods. “But I'm not supposed to let people in. It's kinda the whole point of my being here.”
“Listen-” you start, still totally blank on this guy's name. “Man. I'm on your side, here. I hate these good for nothing criminals, too. I only need to put this guy in his place before it's too late and I have all this rage bottled up forever. Can you help a chick out? Just this once?” The guard seems to be buying your pissed-off role because who would ever suspect you of double crossing the people you work for. The one who loves rules and making things right.
He thinks it over for a second.
“Cell B-14. Make it quick,” he says. “And really give it to him.”
“Oh, I will.”
He glances down the corridor, both ways, before swiping his key card and opening the heavy duty door. It shuts loudly behind you and leaves you in a long dark room with prison cells along each side. You squint trying to follow the indicated letters and numbers on the walls. Finally: B-14.
“H.R.,” you whisper into the lightless cell, gripping the cold bars keeping you from getting in. “H.R., it's me.” You hear a shuffling noise on the ground inside.
“(Y/N)?” he answers. “Am I dreaming?”
“No. No, H.R. you're not.” He scurries over to you and wraps his hands around the bars like you are. “I'm here to get you out.”
H.R. shakes his head. “I don't understand.”
“I'll explain later.” You concentrate on making a breach inside his cell. “Jump in, hurry.” Although he still looks incredibly confused, H.R. does so anyway and appears behind you out of the portal. You turn around and he takes a step toward you, diminishing the gap between you. So close...
He searches your eyes. “Why are you doing this?”
“Because you-”
“STOP!”
Shit.
The guard has caught you red handed. Protocol calls for him to alert the entire vicinity of the escape of a criminal and, in addition to this, your betrayal. You sprint toward him halfway across the hallway of cells and lunge for him, trying to deter him from pressing the alarm button. He dodges you at the last second. Pretty fast for a big guy. Your wide eyes witness his hand smash the big red button like it's progressing in slow motion. A brutally loud alarm goes off overhead and now you're panicking. The guard makes a beeline for you but you take a play out of Gypsy's book.
With your dominant hand in front, you concentrate on your inner power. You immediately jump through the portal and come out on the other side of the raging guard. You throw your arm around his neck from behind and resist his attempts to free himself. Slowly but surely, he falls to the ground, you with him, unconscious.
“Is he...?”
“No. He'll be fine. Now let's get out of here!” You take his hand and run back out the door from which you came, only making it to the end of the corridor before crashing into a full-on sprinting body around the corner.
“G?!” you yell over the alarm. What is she doing here?
“(Y/N), the fugitive? Are you kidding me?!”
“It's H.R.,” he tries to clarify in the background. Gypsy ignores his comment and continues.
“I had a feeling it was you when I heard the alarm, I just didn't want to believe it.”
“G, it's all so hard to explain, but I cannot leave him here. I just can't! It’s killing me.” You plead with her only using your eyes even though you think it may be pointless. When it comes to Collectors' Law, Gypsy never wavers. The clunking of boots grows louder each second, echoing from beyond the maze-like hallways.
“Go.”
“What?”
“Go! I'll lead them the other way.” You do as she says and communicate a wordless thank you. She nods in return.
“I'll miss you,” you say, knowing full well you won't see her again after this. Whether it be from hiding for the rest of your life or death by the Master Collectors.
“I'll miss you, too,” Gypsy says in her I'm upset but I'm tough voice. “Nowmoveyourass!”
At that, you drag H.R. down and around the corner. Creating yet another finely working portal, you make sure he goes through first and you leap in after him. Rain greets you on the other end, though not heavily. You find yourselves in the orange glow of the lampposts outside S.T.A.R. Labs of Earth-One. At last, sanctuary.
You start to make your way to the Labs, but a noise catches your attention behind you. The beginning of swirling blue matter appears in the air.
“H.R. run!” you yell at him and point to the Labs. “Get inside, now!” H.R. hesitates, but at seeing what you had seen, he does what you ask, though not fully wanting to. He keeps looking back as he runs, clearly distressed at leaving you behind. A pulsed shot of energy hits you and you fall on your stomach onto the wet pavement. A manhandling pair of hands restrain you with cuffs.
“This was your last mistake,” your captor says coldly. “Get her up. And find the author.” More hands find you and now you know exactly who has come for you:
All five of the Master Collectors.
This is it. They have come to take you in. You had to face it now – you were a Rogue Collector. And once one has been caught, there is no hope.
No hope, that is, until you hear H.R.'s voice shout, “There they are!” A series of different voices follow:
“Wait!”
“Get your hands off her!”
“WE CHALLENGE YOU TO A TRIAL BY COMBAT!”
“For the possession of H.R. Wells and the Collector (Y/N)!”
“If you think you can handle us!”
All advancing in a line of defence are five people, all clad in their respective superhero outfits. You feel like you know them all simply by looking at them thanks to H.R.'s rambling about them. There's the long-haired guy from before, donning special gloves and a high-tech pair of glasses. This must be Francisco. A woman stands next to him with hair so blonde it looks like the colour of snow and her eyes glow blue. Caitlin, perhaps? Then the girl in red and boy in yellow wearing speedster suits: It has to be Jesse and Wallace. So this last guy in red must be... what did H.R. call him again? Oh right, B.A.
“We assume you children would like the customary twenty-four hours to prepare?” One Master Collector addresses the team.
“Hell naw!” replies Francisco.
“We're settling this right now,” adds B.A.
“So be it,” says the Master Collector that bound you. What follows next is a series of vibe-blasts, coloured lightning streaks, and bursts of deadly ice. The battle is fierce and evenly matched. It seems almost impossible that anyone could come out of this alive. The fact that your life is now on the line along with H.R.'s and these perfect strangers are fighting with everything they have to keep you alive – It's all so overwhelming. All you can do is hug your knees on the ground and try to keep from looking at the monumental fight taking place before your suddenly teary eyes.
H.R. rushes up to you amidst the scene in front of you. His hands find your arms, gently making sure you're okay and not broken.
And even then, you yourself aren't sure.
“I want out, I can't do this anymore,” you finally confess into his chest. “I quit.”
“Good.” H.R. holds the back of your head and strokes your hair. “Because now you can stay here with me.”
“You're a criminal.”
H.R. face drops with a sadness at your words. “I know, I know. I broke one of the most sacred laws-”
“No. Not because of that. Forget that. You stole my heart, H.R. Believe it or not, you captured me.” Caught up in the moment, in everything you've been through, you take his face in your hands and kiss him. Deeply, with everything you've got, pouring every ounce of I'm sorry for everything and Why couldn't I see this before? and Please don't leave me from your body. The rain continues to pour down. H.R. holds you tight throughout it all. At one point, he whispers, “Look.”
Each member of Team Flash has a Master Collector in a various degree of being restrained. None of the colourfully clad heroes seems to be taking advantage of the “killing your opponent” aspect of the trial by combat.
“Why aren't they...?”
“That's not what we're about here at Team Flash,” H.R. says quietly but proudly.
Team Flash let the Master Collectors free. Your former employers call to you with hostility.
“You're finished!”
“Don't even think of showing your face back home!”
Earth-Nineteen is no longer my home.
The defeated five leave Earth-1 in an angered huff. You've never felt so relieved in your whole life. Your heroes come to check on you and H.R.
“I don't know how to thank you all,” you say. The girl in red, Jesse, helps you up from the ground.
“You don't need to,” B.A. assures.
“It's what we do,” Wallace says happily while crossing his arms.
“What am I going to do now?” you wonder aloud.
“H.R. has vouched for you and that's good enough for us,” says B.A “He's a pretty good judge of character.” Does this mean? You look to H.R. (who nods enthusiastically) and throw your arms around him. He says so only you can hear, “Welcome to Team Flash, (Y/N).”

The Flash Season 4 Musings
First: It's crazy how The Flash finale aired in May and it’s still sort of hyped online, as people are waiting for season 4. Like I can’t wait for it hey. October is really far. Like really far.
Second: When I saw this Emergency Awesome video (Yes, I am a subscriber. How are you reading my blog and not a subscriber to Emergency Awesome?? Please go check it out before you read this, there is already a link I put up right before this). In it, Charlie (and you can see all the details for yourself when you watch it) talks about the Reverse-Flash origin story and how maybe since The New 52 version of his origin story is so good, maybe they can incorporate that into maybe a future episode of The Flash.
Maybe it can be one of those episodes after they try and fail to bring Barry back from the speedforce prison for like the 300th time in 3months and Iris decides to stop coming to watch because she can’t take it anymore and only when they are sure they have it will she be able to come back. Wally may say that’s she’s still a part of the team but she may give her side: that without Barry, her heart, their apartment and even The Flash suit is empty.
Then a young guy shows up. He looks all wide-eyed and wearing the old Flash suit. He explains that the suit comes from the time capsule (that the city sent to the future to depict how the times were back then but Eobard got to The Flash suit before any of the authorities) and that he got powers and came back to meet The Flash because he is a big fan and this is around the time The Flash Museum is built and the time capsule is sent to the future.
The team meets the kid and he introduces himself as Eobard Thawne. Now the whole team (knowing the significance of his name) starts to freak out, but not to his face. They send him on his merry way but not before Eobard (noticing Wally’s suit) makes a comment about the yellow. Wally states that he is not ‘The Flash’ he is just his sidekick, ‘Kid Flash’ – he may lie and say that he’s taking care of things as The Flash is on vacation or whatever – so Eobard says “Wow, so The Flash has sidekicks? And the sidekicks wear yellow? I’ve always liked yellow.”
Now that last part might freak out the team because they know about the Reverse-Flash suit being yellow and they might be afraid that this is where he gets the idea for the yellow suit from (which is true because he wants to be The Flash’s sidekick, like Syndrome wanted to be Mr Incredible’s sidekick from The Incredibles). They send him on his way and at the end of the episode, you see the young Eobard trying really hard to create a yellow suit so he can maybe become The ‘Future’ Flash’s sidekick and the episode ends with the kid putting on the suit. Now, this suit won’t look exactly like Reverse-Flash suit because that would be too easy.
Third: The next episode can be a flash to the future episode. A different future, one without Savitar-type of future. One that isn’t all gloomy and ish.
Now in this episode, we see an older Barry, in the kitchen of a house, when he sees through the baby camera that the baby/toddler is about to fall out the crib he speeds to catch him before he falls out and puts him back in the crib. The baby/toddler (mixed race BTW) laughs and Barry looks at him and goes “You’d think you enjoy me running to catch you.” an older Iris walks in and says “He does enjoy it because he knows you’re going to catch him and he gets a thrill out of it.” Then an older Joe walks in and says “Maybe you should let my grandson fall for once, it might teach him something.” Barry then says “Teach him what? That he can’t count on his dad to catch him?” Joe says “Or that jumping out of cribs and scaring your parents half to death is wrong?” Iris laughs, Barry kisses her goodbye and Barry and Joe go to work.
On the way to the station, Joe notes that Barry is being quiet and Barry says “The kid was at the fire The Flash stopped around 11 o’clock, last night.” Joe says “Look, Barry, I don’t understand this time-travel loop, time-remnant stuff. I never have. But this kid is becoming a real and true danger to you, your family, the past and the present.” Barry replies “Don’t you think I know that? But I’m still me, I just don’t see the danger in a 10-year-old Eobard Thawne!” Joe says “Believe me. I get that but, this kid’s future is our past, your history. If you really did help this kid become better, don’t you think it would’ve had an effect on your past already?” Barry mumbles something about not actually being able to tell if he’s past has changed but agrees. Barry plumps down in his office (The deputy chiefs office BTW) when Vibe pops up from a portal. Vibe looks at Barry and says “We have a problem. An Abracadabra problem.”
It’s now at night and Cisco and Barry arrive at his home. Iris is aware Cisco is staying and tells him she made the guest room up for him. Cisco smiles and asks “Where is my favourite godson?” Iris smiles and says “He’s in his room.” Cisco opens a portal and goes through it. Iris obviously shook by the portal usage instead of just walking, gives Barry this look. Barry says “What? I told you he was coming.” Iris says “I know, but it’s been 5months since we’ve seen him and now he uses portals instead of walking up a flight of stairs? What’s going on with him?” Barry replies “Look, I was way worse when I lost you in that future Savitar timeline. At least he is being productive with his time. Trying to track down Abracadabra.” Iris sighs and says “Track him down and do what? Because I know he feels awful. We all do, we all miss…I miss her too. She was our son’s godmother, my friend but…” just then Kid Flash comes speeding in, looks at Barry and says “I got your 911 call.” Barry looks at him and says “I never called you.” Cisco comes downstairs and says “I called Wally because we are going to need all the help we can get.” Cisco hands the baby to Iris, opens a portal “Shall we?” and Barry, Kid Flash and Cisco walk through it.
(Some sneaky Abracadabra stuff happens)
The guys walk into STAR Labs Museum (secret entrance of course) which features a special The Flash sort of display section, with his OG costume and everything (kind of hinting at a future Flash Museum). When they walk into their Team Flash lair (which has been upgraded), none other than Caitlin/Frost is standing there (with the same colour Killer Frost hair only cut short and straight, maybe). Cisco freaks out asking what she is doing here. Wally then explains since Barry is a father now and still busy being The Flash and he (Wally) spends most of his time with his team (maybe hinting he could be the leader of Teen Titans or co-leader with Nightwing, because it is coming to TV soon) and busy going to visit Jesse on Earth-2, that neither of them could take on running the STAR Labs Museum and since Caitlin/Frost and Julian have finally stopped travelling the world and curing and helping metas, they could run it together. Cisco says doesn’t like the idea but then Julian walks in saying “Well if you’re not around enough, Mr Ramon, then you can’t really complain if decisions are made in your absence.” Barry gets the team on focus on Abracadabra.
(Some action stuff with Abracadabra happens)
Towards the end, everyone is celebrating the fact that they have broken the piece of technology that allows Abracadabra to travel between earths (He’s stuck on Earth-1 and it’s going to be easier to get to him). Barry then hands Cisco a cheque from the realtor who sold his house (then there’s a quick flashback to the beginning of the episode where we see a ‘SOLD’ sign on the house opposite Barry’s).
Everyone is leaving the museum (the secret way) when Cisco stops and sees the small Gypsy display with her costume encased in glass. Caitlin/Frost walks up to Cisco and says “She died a hero and I thought she deserved to be honoured like one. Look I know we aren’t close like we used to be all the years ago but a part of me still feels like I know you and I definitely know the pain you are feeling. Right now all you have been is ‘Killer Frost’, only seeing the bad. I’m not saying be full Caitlin Snow and shove all the bad feelings down but to rebuild you need to embrace the good you still have left, like your friends and your godson.” Cisco looks at Caitlin/Frost and says “You really have adapted.” Caitlin/Frost says “It’s that or die.”
We are back in the Allen house and Joe and Wally are playing with the baby/toddler while Iris and Barry make the table. They both walk in the kitchen and Cisco portals in, scaring Iris. Cisco apologises and asks “Do you guys mind if I stay for dinner?” Iris softly puts her hand on Cisco’s face and replies that he is always welcome. As she goes to take another plate to put on the table Cisco hands Barry a cheque, Cisco explains “This cheque is for my godson’s future, schooling, university or whatever. I love that little guy and you guys too. I think my grief made me forget that for a little while.” Barry smiles and says “I always knew you’d remember.” Barry and Cisco hug and Barry takes the cheque and puts it on the table, as they leave the camera pans onto the cheque as you see it reads: ‘PAY TO THE ORDER OF: Henry Ramon Allen’.
Get it? H.R. Allen??
Anyways I have many ideas and more for these flash forwards. Some flash forwards would be great in this new season.
The Flash returns October 10, 2017. Get Hyped!

Distraction/Assurance (Harrison “Harry” Wells/Reader)
Based off of my stories Distraction and Assurance, for recent events in the show. Slight spoilers!
Imagine coming home after Harry’s disappearance and finally meeting HR...
You smiled a little watching Harry sleep. He’d been through so much this last month and too far from home. You kissed his hand before holding it to your face.
You smiled when Jesse came back, “You look happy.”
She smiled more, “I am...I’ve come to a decision.”
“Ah...earth 1 or earth 2...” You sighed looking at Harry, “You know I will back your decision...but try to understand too.”
“I will. I promise.” She walked over to you giving you a big hug, “Thank you, mom.”
You flushed hugging her back. You weren’t used of her calling you mom yet. You smiled when she parted from you feeling yourself tear up a little, “Will you stay with him, you know how he’ll be if he wakes up alone.”
“Yeah, of course.” She smiled taking a seat as you walked out.
You walked out through the halls checking things out. There had been some improvements from the last time that you’d been here. Some good...some not so good...
Turned a corner and stopped seeing the man twirling a drumstick in the air. You crossed your arms observing him. Harry had told you about him when he came home the last time.
He turned talking into a pen of some type trailing off, “and-hellooo.”
“Hello.” You couldn’t but help but smile at him.
“And you...must be...” He trailed more.
“Y/N Wells.” You said slowly.
“Ah! Jesse’s sister, of course.” He exclaimed holding out his hand to you.
You took it looking him in the eyes seeing the difference immediately, “Actually, Mrs. Wells, and you must be H.R.”
“Oh...” H.R. took his hand back, “You’re just so young.”
“It’s a long story.” You smiled at him looking over at Caitlyn pushing the stroller over with, “Back so soon?”
“I am exhuasted, I will be happy to baby sit more tomorrow.” She stopped in front of you leaning down, “Good bye, Ronnie. See you later, Liam.”
You gave her a hug before taking the stroller in you hands looking at H.R. with his mouth hanging open, “What?”
“Are...these...no...” He shook his head.
“Yup, it’s a very very long story.” You smiled at him, “Both belong to Harrison Wells...just not the same one.”
“Wha...no! You have got to divulge this story to me.” You laughed at his boisterous manners.
“Well, I’m sure Harry’s going to be napping for a while, feel like a walk?” You smiled at him.
“Yes, with a beautiful young lady and gorgeous children.” He nodded throwing his arm out for you to go first.
Ah, yes...Harry was going to love that you told his doppelganger everything. You could use some entertainment, and you would simply justify it for everything he was about to do to Wally.

I Will Save Mom - Barry Allen/The Flash x Daughter Reader (Part 3)
Summary: Wally was now trapped within the speed force, Barry and you decide to go in and save him no matter what..but when you do get inside you then start to notice more about your fathers past more then you’d actually have liked..
Part 4: http://dc-marvel-imagines.tumblr.com/post/159999434876/i-will-save-mom-barry-allenthe-flash-x-daughter
Barry and you were both at a loss at losing Wally at such a horrible moment but then Barry had an idea send him and you into the speed force so you both could get him back.
"Open a breach, send us into the speed force." Barry said. "Wait what? Your both going?" Joe asked. "I came here for a reason, I'm going with dad to save uncle Wally. Then I'll help you all save mom." You explained.
Jesse had wanted to come with as well but Barry refused her from coming, he asked her instead of coming along with you both that she'd protect the city for him while he was away. She agreed after a moment.
"Wait but how will they get back?" Iris asked. "What if you make a device that will track these two as they are in the speed force?" H.R suggested. "Yeah it could act like a mark on where they are and how they are doing.." Cisco agreed. "We would be able to read their vitals as well." Julian replied.
Going with that idea Cisco went to work, Barry and Iris went out of the room to have a quick talk while Jesse stayed in the room with you.
"I need to thank you for something..." Jesse said. "For what?" You asked. "You tried to save Wally no matter what shocked you." Jesse said. "Well he is my uncle in the future." You smiled.
Nodding her head everyone walked back inside as Cisco held two objects with the devices inside of the symbol of your suits. Giving you yours you had looked at it as Cisco explained them.
"With this device I'll be able to track them both, if they get lost then we can drag them back." Cisco explained. "Thanks Cisco." You sighed. "Your welcome." Cisco replied.
Putting the symbol on your chest you sighed once more and took deep breaths, finally ready you both hugged the people around you telling them Wally will be saved and you both would return with him, looking over at your father you held your father's hand which he had held out for you.
"Ready?" Barry asked. "Yeah, I'm ready." You nodded your head. "Good luck you two, and be careful." Cisco told.
Putting on his glasses he held both of your shoulders and explained that once he let go you two would be alone in this from then and fourth. Agreeing to that he soon left and it was then up to you two now.
Appearing in the police station you looked around, Wally didn't seem to be anywhere here. But when you and Barry ran into someone your father used to know you were rather shocked that the man in front of you both was suppose to soon be married to your mother Iris.
"You know he was suppose to be her husband and your father, but things changed for him didn't they?" Eddie said. "I know who is my real father." You said. "I bet you do, so why are you here? Your not of this time yet your still here." Eddie asked. "This is my choice." You replied.
After that and a short conversation with him and Barry a beast like creature chased after you and Barry, beating it to the elevator. Breathing heavy you tried to calm down, it wasn't the first time you saw it but it still freaked you out. Though when you did calm down and the doors opened you both were back at S.T.A.R.S labs, hearing a baby crying you and Barry walked into the room seeing Caitlin there singing the baby back to sleep.
"Is that her baby?" You asked. "Shes..." Barry started. "Beautiful just like her mother." A voice spoke.
Turning around you both saw a man by the doors with something on his chest, this must be another one that your father used to know.
"Hello Barry, (Y/N)." Ronnie said. "They deserved this future..." Barry said. "Yet the future isn't always as how we want it to be." Ronnie explained. "You have to let us save Wally.." Barry explained. "Not happening, you two need to leave while you still can." Ronnie explained. "Sorry but I'm not leaving without my uncle." You told. "I warned you." Ronnie sighed.
Suddenly two demonic things rushed after you both, you and Barry had to run off and even fight back. A figure that looked like Zoom attacked Barry while an old villain you took down in your time line was attacking you.
Who was it you asked?
A man that went by the name of Shadow, he was someone who you defeated before and it sure as heck took a while to do so. Not only did he have the ability to create shadows but he could dissapear like one as well.
"This way (Y/N)!" Barry shouted.
You both rushed to the door rushing to get it open, hearing screams you looked back but when the doors opened you two tried to quickly leave but were caught by both of the demonic beings.
"Please stop them!" Barry shouted. "You need to save yourselves first." Ronnie said.
Shadow started to send small shadows into your body, gosh did that hurt you could feel the small shadows squeezing you from the inside and out. Soon you could barely breath as it was like they were sucking the life out of you. Turning your head to the side you looked at your dad and sent him a certain look.
"No...don't!!" Barry shouted. "I'm sorry dad..." You rasped out.
Taking off your symbol on your chest and pushed it on Shadows making hims scream and soon dissapearing like as if he were mist. Barry watched in shock as he saw his future daughter nearly kill herself just to break free, knowing though he'd might just have to do the same thing and he sure as heck did just that. Though when he woke up he found himself and you in the hall of a hospital.
**With The Others**
"Whats happening to them?!" Joe asked entering the room. "We don't know they were fine moments ago, but now their vitals are going down." Julian explained. "Oh god...we just lost (Y/N)..." Caitlin said. "Track Barry quick!" Joe said. "I can't find either of them..." Cisco replied after a moment. "That was their life line to get Wally back though!" Joe said worried. "How will we ever get them back now?" Iris asked. "I don't think we will..." Caitlin said.
**Back With You And Barry**
Sitting up he noticed you were there also and sighed in relief. When he tried to wake you he soon saw Wally in a room next you guys. That's when Snart appeared, he started explaining things about Wally and everything but he soon attacked. Though that's when Jay another speedster saved him and you.
"Is it really you Jay?" Barry asked. "Yeah, Cisco came to my earth...told me what happened and I came here." Jay said. "Both of you need to get Wally out of here quick." Jay added.
Snart soon attacked Jay when he went in for another attack that's when you woke up and grabbed Jay's helmet and used it to deflect the ice beam. Breathing out you looked towards Barry.
"Go get Wally.." You sighed. "I can't let you two do that." Snart said. "Try and stop us." Barry replied.
Snart didn't move as Barry had broken the ice off the door knob, following Barry inside after you helped Jay back on his feet you saw Wally look at an empty bed, calling out to him he soon then realized you guys were actually here and were there to help him out of here.
"Barry...(Y/N)...Jay..." Wally whispered. "Uncle Wally..." You mumbled. "Your free now Wally. Let's go home." Barry told.
Hugging Wally as Barry said these words you sighed in so much relief. But when you guys were walking out of the room Jay stayed behind. Saying there had to be another speedster to replace Wally in here, before you could even voice suggesting you stay Jay refused saying you'd just fade away from ever being alive since you indeed weren't from this time line but another.
Not taking no for an answer you three finally stepped out and watched the door close slowly, but before you three could fully get the heck out of this place another person appeared before you. Someone you knew this time.
"You don't belong here (Y/N), go back to your own timeline." A voice spoke. "What do you want Cole?" You asked.
Cole was man who used to be a villain yet when you saved him and helped him fight his own demons he had changed and turned into a new formed hero, but he died in the future to save your life.
"I know I don't belong here, but your not gonna stop me from saving uncle Wally or my mother." You explained. "I never could huh?" Cole replied. "No." You shook your head. "Make sure you return home alive, he's waiting for you." Cole smirked and walked away.
That's right you had a boyfriend back in your time line, he knew of your powers and of your hero work. In the future he helped you and supported you like Iris does with your dad in this time line.
"Who was he?" Barry asked. "Someone who used to be a villain yet changed, but died saving me." You sighed. "I didn't think we would see anyone from your time line here..." Barry said. "Me either...but I guess my past came along with me." You shrugged. "Well lets go home." Barry said.
Back home Cisco was opening a breach since he got a signal from Jay's helmet, when it got to much three figures flew out and crashed into the ground. All three were you, Barry and Wally. You guys did it, you saved Wally. But at a cost.
"Wait four speedsters were in the speed force yet only three come out." Cisco said. "Jay stayed behind so we could help Wally out." Barry said.
When everyone was in so much relief that you all returned with Wally you stepped out as you felt a bit of an outsider more now, what they all said back in the speed force was true...you didn't belong here and it was more now getting to you. Barry and Iris noticed you leave and were about to go speak with you but Caitlin said she'd handle talking to you, when she caught up she noticed the stressed out look on your face.
"What's wrong?" Caitlin asked. "I don't belong here...I know that but I still want to save mom...yet what they said is right...saving her is dad's job not mine.." You sighed ripping off your gloves from your suit. "You gave us hope, you came here for a clear reason and you can still help us." Caitlin explained. "You think so? Cause I feel like I'm getting in the way." You told. "Well your not." Caitlin smiled and placed a hand on your shoulder.
Nodding at that you soon thanked her and when Iris and Barry walked out to head home they had you follow, though right soon after you fell asleep the two talked but Barry decided to have them split up for now until things got better.
"What about her?" Iris said. "Hopefully we will get things under control by then." Barry sighed.
When you heard their conversation it felt like your heart broke in two, since you never had heard things like this before you didn't know how to react to it. But what alarmed you even more was that your hand started to fade out but soon returned to its normal figure.
Oh gosh...you so hoped your mom and dad would patch things up soon, cause you had a feeling you'd dissapear before your parents could actually get together again. Reason why cause if they didn't get back together you wouldn't of been born just yet.
'Mom...Dad please get back together soon...' You thought getting scared.
||A/N: Uh oh...things are going down and yes I had to add the horrible ending but when the new episode comes out you’ll have something to go with it...also I think it’s actually fitting since if someone did come from the future and the life line they are from don't end up going the way it did before they would dissapear...so that’s why I added in that...hope you forgive me and could maybe wait for a part 4 depending on what the new episode has in store for us.||

Here's a $20 donation to the ACLU: imgurcom/cNTrU6P for the prompt: how about a barry/cisco holidays fic with barry being really sappy and doing over-the-top things for cisco? (bonus points for creative use of powers?)
This took SO LONG, I’m so sorry! But here it is! Obviously the holidays have passed us by so I took some liberties:
Barry was acting weird.
“Hey, you’re gonna be at the lab on your birthday, right?” he’d asked Cisco on Monday, fidgeting with one of Caitlin’s pencils until it became a yellow blur in his fingers.
“Considering it’s a Thursday, which is traditionally a weekday, yeah, that was the plan,” Cisco said. “Is that a problem or something?”
The pencil burst into flame; Barry yelped and dropped it. “Yeah! Yeah, of course, work birthdays are the best birthdays. It’s cool. I’ll see you later.”
He blitzed out of the room.
Caitlin walked in and frowned. “Why is there a small fire on my desk?”
*
“If you could pick one food to eat for the rest of your life, nutritional value be damned, what would it be?” Barry asked on Tuesday, bouncing on the balls of his feet like he was about to set a long jump record.
Cisco paused the simulation video he was running and looked up at the ceiling to think. “Pancakes. Really good ones, with the lacy edges and lots of real maple syrup.”
“Cool,” Barry said. “Oh, hey, I gotta go.” He vanished in a burst of air, then reappeared just as quickly. “Hey. Bacon on the side?”
“Obviously.”
“Great. Bye.” And he was gone again.
H.R. tilted his head at Cisco. “Is he okay?”
Cisco started up his video again. “Honestly, I’ve given up wondering.”
*
“Hey, what’s your favorite color?” Barry asked.
“Is this really the time to be asking me this?” Cisco asked, then winced as security footage showed Barry zipping out of the way of a hail of bullets just in time.
Barry wove gracefully through the eight heavily armed bank robbers like a prima ballerina through a field of stupefied water buffalo. “It just occurred to me.”
“You couldn’t figure it out? I picked it for your suit. Bogey on your six, by the way.”
Barry spun, ducked, and knocked out his attacker with a much sweeter right hook than he would’ve thrown a year ago. “Aw, really?”
“I mean also red’s the color of speed and, and firetrucks and...I don’t know, Lightning McQueen, but yeah. Don’t be too flattered.” The fact that Barry happened to look even more like some unreal sylphan creature in Cisco’s favorite color was just a coincidence, and not one Cisco planned on sharing out loud.
“I like red too,” Barry said warmly.
Julian leaned in towards the mic, shoving Cisco out of the way. “If you two are through flirting, maybe Barry could wrap this up so that the CCPD can move in?”
Cisco elbowed him as Barry spluttered. “Aw, Julian, I can flirt with you too if you’re feeling left out,” he said, and hoped no one noticed how flushed his face had just gotten.
*
All of Barry’s weird jumpy questions made sense on Thursday.
“Well, I’ll be darned,” Cisco said as he walked into the lab. The entire place was festooned in red balloons and streamers, with a huge sign hanging over Cisco’s workstation reading “HAPPY BIRTHDAY CISCO” in giant glittery red letters. There was a birthday cake in pride of place on the center of the table, but it almost disappeared under the plates and plates heaped with towers of buttery, syrupy pancakes and surrounded by endless rashers of bacon.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” everyone - wow, everyone - crowed, H.R. through a mouthful of bacon.
“Thanks, guys!” Cisco said. “You did all this for me?”
“Well, Barry, mostly,” Caitlin said, stepping forward to give Cisco a hug. “The rest of us were just supposed to be here on time.”
Cisco looked over Caitlin’s shoulder to where Barry was rubbing the back of his neck and kicking at the ground. “Well, you know, birthdays only happen once a year. And. It.” He shrugged as if the last two words had been coherent and universally relatable sentences. “Who doesn’t like pancakes, right?”
“Who indeed,” H.R. cut in before Cisco could call Barry on his weird diffidence. “You know, this reminds me of something that happened on my Earth, don’t think it happened here, the great Syrup Strike of 1987…”
Cisco disentangled himself from Caitlin and went to get a plate of pancakes and bacon before H.R. put him off of them forever with whatever weirdo story he was about to tell.
It was safe to say no one got much science or superheroics done that day. H.R. ate too much sugar and fell asleep under a desk. Jesse and Wally went off together somewhere, giggling, and Joe, Iris, and Julian all got called in for work-related issues. Even Caitlin made her excuses early - she was having an attempt at a reconciliatory dinner with her mom and didn’t want to be too full to eat.
Barry refused to let Cisco clean up on his birthday, so Cisco perched on a desk and picked at the last of the bacon while Barry blitzed around the room in a frenzy of tidying. Within minutes the lab was clean - not to the original Wells’s standards, but certainly more spotless than any room at Cisco’s place.
“I can’t believe you did all this for me, man,” Cisco said as Barry slowed to a normal pace.
“Yeah, well.” Barry was flushed, but that might have just been from the cleaning. There was red glitter in his hair. “You’re my best friend. And things have been...I don’t know. You’re special to me and I wanted to make sure we were okay.”
Cisco felt his ears heat up. You’re special to me. He couldn’t believe he was so swoony over such a cheesy Hallmark statement, but “cheesy Hallmark” was so very Barry, and Cisco had been swoony over Barry since approximately four seconds after Barry woke up from his coma.
He hopped down from the desk. “You’re special to me too,” he said, and reached out to pull Barry into an affectionate bro-hug -
- and Barry leaned down and kissed him.
Cisco froze, startled, and Barry jerked back. “Sorry!” he said. “I thought - I didn’t mean to - I thought you were going for a kiss and I - uh, I’ll just go now.”
He turned and would have zipped away if Cisco hadn’t rallied and managed to vibe the doors until they shook closed. “Wait!” he said. “Wait. Can you just - wait? For a second?”
Barry turned to face him, his face as red as his costume. “I really am sorry, Cisco,” he said.
Cisco shook his head - not refusing his apology, just trying to make sense of this. “You thought I was going to kiss you?” Barry nodded miserably. “So were you kissing me back to be polite, or…?”
“Not…” Barry sighed. “Not just to be polite.”
“So…” Cisco glanced at the remnants of the cake, the decorations stuffed into a garbage bag by the doors, Barry’s pink cheeks and shifty eyes. “So you did all of this because you like me.”
“No!” Barry said quickly. “I mean, I didn’t - you’re my friend, Cisco. That’s true no matter what.” He glanced at the ceiling. “The other part...might be true too.”
Cisco nodded slowly, taking this in. Then he took a step towards Barry.
“I’m gonna make this really clear,” he said. Barry swallowed, looking like he was facing a firing squad. “I’m going in for a kiss this time.”
Barry stared at him. Then he absolutely lit up.
“Happy birthday, Cisco,” he murmured as he stepped in and gave Cisco a real, solid, superhero-style kiss.
Cisco pulled back and grinned at him. “You know what?” he said. “It really, really is.”
