My first idea was to draw @mr-business-whump's Lycanwing Hiccup from their AU, so here's my (stylized) take on the design :]

... But I did really want to do a canon species Hiccup, so I also did a Terrible Terror version of him <3

My reasonings for the Terrible Terror:

Small

Annoying

No fear of death

Clever

Troublemakers

Evokes the same cuteness agression in me that first movie Hiccup does

That one specific scene where Hiccup goes "Everything we knew about you guys was wrong"

I decided for such an important scene, it deserves some kind of a background. Also this is my first time drawing a person so be nice about Hiccup please (⁠｡⁠ŏ⁠﹏⁠ŏ⁠). Also oops I put him too far away lol, whatever it's fine.

Having completed it, I think I would give toothless proper shading not just black, my opinion is that it looks a lil weird
