i know almost all of the characters will be morally grey. and all of these situations are complicated and complex and they are never black & white. people do what they have to in order to survive, to protect themselves, and the ones they love; even if that means betraying others, including people close to them. but so far, jack is probably the only one who hasn’t. he is our big-hearted, always-putting-others-before-myself-even-to-my-own-detriment character. and i know we���re only halfway through the series, which means at some point jack is going to be pushed to his limit and put through that test. the most important people in jack’s life are grandma, joke and (the kids). and at some point, one of them is going to be put in harm’s way and it’s going to cost jack everything. who jack is at his core (innocent, pure, genuine, caring, kind, sacrificial) is going to be tried and tested. i wonder if jack will betray others in order to protect himself and what’s important to him, or if he’ll find a way to save everyone and everything without leaving anyone behind (and ultimately sacrificing himself, again). I just know things from here on out are going to be painful, messy, intense, and chaotic. just hoping all of the team makes it out safe and alive.
