wow. having someone tell you that everything will be okay and not freaking out is a damn godsend. i’m still not used to this, tbh. i was able to handle the problem, pick up my meds, buy a snack, and drive home while quietly listening to the classic rock station, cold air blasting. everything was okay.

now i’m watching house of hummingbird, which made me cry earlier. it’s a realistic, quiet portrayal of having working class parents and living in a dysfunctional household. we see the main character having her first loves, making mistakes, finding a person that she can look up to, and so on. it’s touching but sad. i can’t tell if i’m sad for her, myself, or both of us, lol. it is what it is. i decided that it would be okay.

"All of Us Are Dead" actress Park Ji-hu skipped the Tribeca Film Festival a few years ago, because she had a school exam she didn't want to miss. 🎥 saturday movie challenge - saturday IV - house of hummingbird (2018)

well we have our first dropped movie for this challenge 🧍‍‍♂️ i lasted around half of a movie but it was too much. i dropped not because the movie was bad or anything, just i didn't check the spoiler tags and it seems like it's about that one thing i avoid in series/films this movie is just so sad, main characters just suffers so much. definitely would recommend some tissues if you are prone to crying while watching.

not rating this one since i dropped it but it isn't a bad movie, just it isn't for me
