My favourite characters are Alisa, Lars and Hindrik

Prompt: Forbidden Love, because that's literally Lars and Alisa's entire story.

"If they find out, we'll both be in so much trouble," she whispered, leaning into his hand. "They'll keep us away from each other."

"They can try," he murmured, kissing her again. Their lips moved soft and slow, even as their minds rushed, knowing the consequences if some unfriendly eyes happened upon them.

After everything they'd been through, the Redmasks, Dracula and the trauma of the spark, being together was just calm. It was nice.

But that wouldn't matter to their families, especially not her grandmother, who despised the Dracas.

Yet as Lars' arms wrapped around her, she couldn't care less.

She wanted this.

Just until there was a knock on the door, they could stay here in each other's embrace.

"I love you," she whispered, looking up at him when they parted.

"I know," he said, the corner of his mouth turning up. "I love you too."

A single knock resounded through the room.
