I made a Kroger Butter Biscuit, Kroger Peach Preserves, Nutella, and Hot & Spicy with Tocino Spam Biscuit sandwiches and they were pretty good.

The biscuits were buttery soft, the peach preserves was lightly sweet with a light peach flavor, the nutella was oily but smooth and creamy while having a light hazelnut chocolate taste to it.

The Hot & Spicy spam was firm and soft while lightly spicy.

The Tocino spam was lightly sweet tasting and when well with the Hot and spicy spam, peach preserves, Nutella and the butter biscuits. .

The butter biscuit sandwiches sweet and salty but not overly to me.

I would make this again.

Got the butter biscuits and peach preserves at Kroger, Got the Nutella at Ollies, Got the Hot & Spicy Spam at Walmart, and got the Tocino Spam at Walmart.

Bad Batch Food Headcanons:

Was having the meal of champions (soju, galbi, and buldak) and it got me thinking,,

So have this collection of random food headcanons:

Crosshair insists he can handle spicy food but he cannot. He's eating hot cheetos and he's fucking crying

Wrecker had to build up a tolerance for spice - he fucking LOVES spicy food ("It's like an explosion in my mouth!!") but couldn't handle it at first. Now he can handle buldak with half of the spice packet!

Hunter and Tech can handle their spice decently but Echo isn't too fond of spicy foods.

Like Wrecker, Omega built up a tolerance to spice, but also like Crosshair she's sensitive to it and will insist that she can handle her spice

Echo is a picky eater. That's like canon. He doesn't care that he's a grown man, he's ordering mac-n-cheese at the fancy restaurant. Deal with it.

Tech is another picky eater but he thrives off instant stuff like ramen or snacks like chips. Man can plow through a whole Costco-sized bag of tortilla chips in one sitting without realizing it.

Hunter has a stomach of steel, he'll eat anything and everything. It's only a matter of REMEMBERING to fucking eat. He'll stand up, nearly faint, then go, "What the hell?" and it's because he hasn't eaten since fucking yesterday.

No Crosshair, an ice coffee is NOT a suitable breakfast. How many times do we have to tell you? And aren't you fucking lactose intolerant???

Oh they love their dinosaur chicken nuggets though - especially Omega and Wrecker. They'll dunk them in ketchup and create a whole murder crime scene.

Omega LOVES soup. Any and all kinds! I think she'd really enjoy udon or 냉면 the most though. The slurp-ier the better!

I feel like Tech is a curry enjoyer. Indian curry, Thai curry, Japanese curry - he loves it all.

Penguin still grins and you laugh while Ikkaku sighs with a roll of her eyes. His offer of a drink, from the Polar Tang’s kitchen, in such a flirty manner makes her want to gag even though you seem perfectly fine with it. He’s done this for so long, she wonders if you’ll ever start dating or not.

He only started flirting and teasing you a little bit when you got stood up for a date on an island, having run into you when you were heading back to the ship, looking upset. When he saw that, it almost broke his heart and Penguin started throwing pick up lines and compliments your way, trying to get a smile out of you and it worked right away. You laughed while he walked you back to the ship and kept flirting with you the whole way, making your night better and realizing himself that he only ever wants to see you smile. The flirting and pick up lines make you laugh, but when he starts really teasing you it gets your heart racing.

The day you all were relaxing outside the Polar Tang at the beach you’d stopped at, you stayed on the deck with Penguin to watch the ship, talking about where you’re going next. The heat started getting to Penguin to the point he had to strip off the top half of his boiler suit and tank top, making your face heat up seeing him shirtless suddenly. Penguin saw that right away and started messing with you about how flustered you were.

“Awww come on, you’ve seen me shirtless before!”

“Oh shut up!”

He started doing more to fluster and tease you after that, getting close when working together, a hand on your back as he led you through towns, and now bringing you drinks during parties the crew threw. If you didn’t know any better you’d think he really did like you.

Penguin leaves your drink with you and goes back to helping Clione make more for everyone else, Ikkaku leans against your arm and gives you a suspicious look.

“What?”

“Don’t ‘what’ me like you don’t know,” she rolls her eyes again while you say you really don’t know, and nods her head over to the guys making drinks, “You and Penguin. He flirts with you constantly, you can’t tell me there isn’t something going on.”

“He’s just being nice, I told you why he started that,” sighing you watch the boys alongside Ikkaku, “There’s nothing going on…”

“Yet it sounds like you want something to be going on…”

You shush Ikkaku and she laughs, making Shachi look over at the two of you, before back to Penguin, still busy helping others and giving them drinks. He knows there has to be something between you two, he’s never seen Penguin flirt with someone as much as you, though his friend won’t tell him anything no matter how much he tries to get it out of him. Penguin just says nothing, normally pretending to sleep if it’s night or running off claiming Law needs him to do something right away, it’s getting to be annoying.

So Shachi decides he should intervene a little bit, just enough to see if something really is going on. Once he sees your drink is empty, he makes his way to you faster than Penguin can, though he doesn’t notice at first.

“Can I refill your drinks, ladies?”

He’s trying so hard to sound suave and flirty, it’s about to make you laugh out of embarrassment instead of flattery this time. Its kind of weird that Shachi is doing this now, but the next thing he says gets to you.

“Sorry for wearing sunglasses inside, I’m just blinded by your beauty.”

You laugh so loudly because it’s so ridiculous since Shachi always wears sunglasses, Ikkaku gives an annoyed sigh and says it’s not that funny, but you just can’t help it. So many of the pick up lines you hear are cringe and don’t make you laugh this hard, not even if it’s from Penguin.

Speaking of, he looks over so quickly with furrowed eyebrows when he hears you laughing, seeing Shachi grinning and saying something else that keeps you laughing. There’s a feeling of jealousy even though he knows Shachi doesn’t have any romantic feelings for you, but it still stings a bit to hear you laughing at him instead. It’s not like you’re dating or anything, Penguin believes you’re just being nice when you laugh at his pick up lines and jokes, there’s not anything more there, he’s sure.

It still sucks though, to the point he’s glaring at Shachi when the red heard comes back to make more drinks. You’ve gone back to chatting with Ikkaku and now Uni, whatever the topic is has you animatedly involved and excited.

“What was that about?”

“Hmm?” Shachi looks over his shoulder ans grins, “Nothing man, just told her a joke is all.”

Penguin’s face scrunches up in annoyance, but he doesn’t say anything else. He knows that Shachi can see his feelings for you, and his friend would never do anything to get in his way, but hearing you laugh so loudly made Penguin more jealous than he ever expected to be.

As more of your crewmates slowly recognize your feelings for each other, they’ll start to meddle a bit more, though it’ll all work out one day. They’re all sure of it.

oh god i feel like senshi because im so so very late to this ask because ive been in a slump with cooking myself and youve definitely eaten by now. BUT i have a few that i make either when i want comfort food that still checks some boxes of being kind of nutritious or that are just fast

i. spam musubi but its not actually

spam musubi are these awesome hand held things. sometimes they have egg sometimes they dont but i will eat a whole can worth in one go. so i do it as a bowl instead

i start jasmine rice in our rice cooker and chop the spam into cubes vs slices like it would be for musubi. fry them on medium high until theyre crispy. then ill julienne an onion and add it to the spam. once the onion is starting to soften ill add the sauce. the recipe i saw was 2tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp mirin with like a spoon full of sugar (honestly it was probably just under a tbsp) but ive been cheating recently and using a japanese bbq sauce i found at our local asian grocery store. once everything is coated i cook it a few mins so the sauce thickens up. by then the rice should be done and then you just take a scoop of each and i add seaweed on top

i know its not proper but since will doesnt like the sweet savory combo and im the only one eating it this way is easier for me to handle. i can store the rice and spam separately so nothing gets mushy and even refry the spam when i want to heat it back up

ii. black bean, pepper and cheese quesadilla

this is actually how i got will to try beans. i just take a can of black beans and dump the whole thing into a pot and cook on medium until i can smash them. ill also fry peppers and onions on medium until they have a little char. spices are honestly up to you and how spicy you want it. i usually put salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, chili powder and garlic in with the beans. once the beans are mostly smashed and the peppers cooked ill throw them together and smash them more just so everything is easier to spread onto a tortilla. that plus you can add your cheese. ive shredded my own and used grocery store mixes so its up to you!

iii. spicy garlic tofu

almost no notes on this. i use less maple syrup than the recipe calls for so 1tbsp of everything in the sauce. and instead of gochujang i use a chinese chili paste, imo it ends up less ketchup flavored but if you like ketchup then just use gochujang

i dont make this as often but this is a recipe i use as a base and then cheat. i swap in frozen veggies and it speeds everything up

v. hotpot

i love making hotpot at home. its super easy skill wise it just takes some time. you can buy premixed hot pot bases from the grocery store if you have an asian grocery store near you and you just dunk stuff in the soup until its cooked. you just need to watch out for the spice level of the broth

will and i will usually get thinly sliced beef, rice cakes, udon noodles, fish cakes, bok choy and mushrooms. all you do is bring the broth to a boil and cook your ingredients. sometimes i dunk with chopsticks other times i cook with a small strainer lol

no one really asked for this personal milestone update but i actually kind of enjoy cooking now??? i never used to like because i wasnt very good at it (im still pretty green tbh) but ive made some really tasty things lately, most of which tastes like something i could get at a restaurant! and then when i go out im actually starting to be like 'yeah my version is better' or 'i wish i had just eaten at home' or 'i wanna eat my leftovers!' anyway its a real gamechanger for me and huge confidence boost. not to mention it feels like i've made it because i can feed myself yummy food! and it feels like i really care about myself because i spend the time making something nutritious and delicious! anyways here are some pics of stuff i've made recently because im really proud and i want to share 💙 (note, a few of these meals were made in group cooking sessions with my sisters and Mr. Nopal! but most are my doing!)

Row 1: Beef wrapped enoki mushrooms w/white rice and blanched bok choy. Tamagoyaki w/white rice, furikake and blanched bok choy. Korean bibimbap.

Row 2: Japanese beef gyudon w/white rice and blanched bok choy. Edamame rice pilaf and fried egg. Shoyu chicken w/white rice and roasted broccoli and brussel sprout mix.

Row 3: Homemade chipotle carnitas bowl. Lemon chicken acini di pepe w/roasted broccoli. Herb chicken thighs, oven-baked crunchy potatoes w/roasted broccoli.

Row 4: Dry rub mala spiced ribs, tomahawk steak, hot dogs, and grilled asparagus and broccolini. Herb crusted chicken thigh, spicy italian sausage, bone marrow risotto, and roasted brussel sprouts. Pasta with homemade bone broth marinara sauce and herb crusted chicken thighs.

Row 5: Spam fried rice. Homemade applesauce puff pastry brie cups.

I think I talked about a similar topic at some point, but I since it’s been a long time, I don’t mind talking about it again.

To be honest, I feel like I only had moments of doubt and anxiousness when it comes to sharing art, not creating it. Over the years there were periods during which we wouldn’t post any smut at all, and sometimes we would gather some courage and start spamming it, some other time we created a separate acc for nsfw stuff; I feel like we went through everything lol But no matter what happens with our posting, I’ve always been drawing smut behind the curtains. Fortunately and thankfully, when it comes to art, for the most part I am pretty shameless lol

I was the most nervous about drawing spicy stuff back when I was a teen because I really wanted to start doing it, but it was very intimidating + I felt like I was doing something bad, like I wasn’t supposed to draw it because of how young I was + because it’s inappropriate in general. It’s silly to think about this now… But my very first nsfw sketches had this stupid censor round emoji-like thingie that Katsu absolutely fucking hated LOL

I wasn’t even posting this stuff anywhere, Katsu was the only one who saw those sketches! Who I was censoring it for??

In actuality, I think it was me being very shy about drawing explicit stuff, so those ugly things kind of helped me to get used to drawing smut.

To answer your question… I think it depends on why you have those hang-ups and what exactly prevents you from drawing things that you want to draw.

If it’s that you are not confident in your skill, then don’t worry about it and take it easy. One good thing about nsfw is that it’s pretty fun to study, be it irl/photo references or other people’s art.

If it’s you being uncomfortable or embarrassed, try not to stress yourself out too much; similarly to what I did, draw something that isn’t as embarrassing to draw: a lot of people draw hot stuff without ever picturing genitalia. It’s art, after all.

If you feel ashamed, please don’t be? I know I make it sound easy, but smut and kinky drawings/stories are a pretty natural thing. Even artists who are known for drawing cute things or animating cartoons have a lot of nsfw drawings, the majority of which we’ll never see lol

If you are anxious about sharing your stuff, then don’t do it for now or create a small locked acc for it, or just draw for yourself and your friends for some time. You know, low stakes, high rewards – you’ll develop a habit and comfortability, which is a very important base to build before diving into this.

Whatever is the case, ask yourself whether you really want to draw it or not; because ultimately this is the only reason that matters.

Oh! Watch “Quills” (2000), I feel like it could also give you a nice morale boost lol At least in terms of realising that there is nothing weird or unusual in this kind of interest…

I tried the Hot & Spicy Spam and it was pretty good.

This Spam was a little hot sauce spicy and was a little salty but not overly salty.

This spam made me cough a little because of the spice.

I tried the hot & spicy spam in my oatmeal.

I would eat this again.

What sort of sandwich crimes have you created?

Oh. Oh boy this is. Hah. Oh boy have I ever. The most recent one (im even making the effort to type a real c for this) one was the baked beans sandwich. would not recommend tbh the bread got real soggy real fast. Some may consider this a crime but i do enjoy grilled cheese and spam sandwiches. and my favorite sandwich, the special ones i rarely make... those are a crime against all sandwiches everywhere.

Let me give you the recipe under the cut (enter at your own risk ive never found someone who approves of this sandwich so thats your warning):

Ingredients:

3 slices of bread peanut butter nutella cheetos smuckers squeezable strawberry jelly plain potato chips (im partial to cape cod potato chips myself and also would love to try this some day with truffle potato chips)

Optional Ingredients: marshmallow fluff honey

Instructions:

put the 3 pieces of bread in the microwave for about 8 seconds, enough for it to be warm but not hot

on the first piece of bread, spread peanut butter on it. if you have honey, put the honey on it too. add the potato chips on the peanut butter in a layer, completely covering it to the best of your ability

take the second piece of bread and slather nutella on it, the thicker the coating the better. put it on the first piece of bread nutella side down, making a sandwich. If you have fluff, you may substitute the nutella on this side for the fluff.

on the side of the nutella/fluff bread that is facing up and has no nutella/fluff on it, slather( more) nutella, the thicker the better. lay cheetos on it (i personally find the extra crispy ones to be the best for this purpose but am thinking of trying it with spicy ones to see what happens)

take the last piece of bread. Squeeze and spread the jelly on it. Then put it jelly side down on top of the nutella piece.

cut and enjoy!

example: noir extreme by tom ford (notes: vanilla, amber, sandalwood, jasmine, orange blossom, cardamom. sweet and spicy. complex.)

barou shouei: definitely something that gets everyone’s attention the second he’s in the vicinity. he wants all eyes on him, after all. strong, classic and rich.

side note: was an avid axe body spray user when he was a kid
