I actually take my bf to the botanical gardens regularly. We have one called De Hortus Botanicus here in Amsterdam and we love looking at all the cacti in the Desert Room and the carnivorous plants in the Jungly Room (not official names by the way).

- FIKO (dark & intimate, great food, fancy but reasonable prices, nice chill vibe!)

- Mr Porter (bright steak restaurant, rooftop views in city centre, expensive but a one time treat maybe?)

- Van Kerkwijk (cozy, upmarket casual, hidden gem!! expensive but a place you could sit back for hours in and enjoy)

More Casual Restaurants

- Eatmosfera (casual but really good pizza place)

- Foodhallen (touristy food hall but with good quality food!! so many options)

- Five Brothers Fat (casual barcelona tapas, good food with reasonable prices)

- Café George (slightly above casual but nice food and chill vibes!! can be expensive)

- Harlem Soul Food (good prices, good food, nice location especially when it’s warm out!! very chill)

- La Perla (loooooovely pizzas, pretty casual)

- Barça (really nice tapas, greg location, and has really really nice cocktails and music at night!)

- Caldi e Freddi ‼️ (unreal italian deli) (no sit down, takeaway only but you can sit on a canal!)

you’re lucky with the weather!!!! in the sunshine i’d recommend Vondelpark, Hortus Botanicus (cutie botanical gardens), de 9 straatjes (cute neighbourhood with nice little boutiques and cafes)!!!! genuinely though i think it’s one of the best cities to just aimlessly stroll around, just avoid damrak imo lmao (it’s gross vibes)!!!!!! have fun, let me know if you need anything (:
