How to Choose the Best Horse Fence Installer for Your Needs
If you build a fence for your horses, it’s an investment in their safety and welfare. The choice of the right fence installer can play a major role in whether or not the fence is secure, durable, and fits your property. As a rule, whether you are installing a new or replacing an old fence, you have to be careful while choosing your installer.
Experience with Horse Fencing
Find a horse fencing installer who specializes in horse fencing. The primary way they should understand the specific requisites is to keep a horse safe and secure. Get references from previously satisfied clients who had a similar need just like you.
Knowledge of Materials and Options
Wood, vinyl, electric, and wire mesh are just some of the many types of fencing materials available, but each provides different benefits. A skilled horse fence installer knows their stuff regarding these options and will be able to recommend the right material for your particular property, terrain, and breed of horse.
They should be able to describe the respective issues of durability, safety, maintenance, and cost of each material. A professional installer will guide you as to what fence will be best aesthetically and functionally for you.
Reputation and Reviews
Before hiring a fence installer, check the reputation. Your first clue should be looking up reviews online, asking for testimonials, and chatting with other horse owners in your area. A good installer will have a good history of horse fencing projects. Visit some of their previous installations, if possible, to see the quality of their work—up close.
Licensing and Insurance
You should always go for a fully licensed and insured professional fence installer. Since licensing ensures that the installer has met local standards for fencing installation, and insurance protects both you (the customer) and the installer (in case of accidents or damage during the project), it’s the logical choice to make..
Cost and Transparency
Finding an installer within your budget is important, but you don’t want to choose a fence installer based solely on price – otherwise, there’s a chance that quality will suffer. The best installer is the one that is willing to quote a fair and transparent pricing procedure with cost materials and labor.
Conclusion
Different things must be considered when choosing who to install, such as the installer’s experience, expertise, reputation, and commitment to quality. Not only will a qualified professional help you choose the best materials and design for your property, but you will be assured your horses are safe and secure in a built fence.

I made an origami rooster to give my neighbor. Whose chickens and roosters I take care of when she goes on a trip.
In other news they absolutely refused to go out into their yard (predator proof enclosure) when it was really cold. So yeah, half their scratch was left inside so they didn’t have to.

Why Flexible Horse Fencing is the Best Choice for Equestrian Facilities
Flexible horse fencing is an increasingly popular choice for safe, secure keeping of horses in equestrian facilities. There are a number of benefits to this type of fencing from reduced maintenance costs to increased safety. This guide will take you through 6 reasons why flexible horse fencing makes the most sense for you:
Enhanced Safety for Horses
One of the big advantages of flexible horse fencing is that it protects horses from injuries. Rigid materials like wood or metal traditional fences can get injured if a horse runs into or kicks the fence. In contrast, flexible fencing gives impact and, as such, minimizes the chance of cuts, bruising, or worse. It is meant to be strong enough to hold horses but flexible enough to prevent injury in a collision by a horse.
Durability and Longevity
Built to stand up to the wear and tear associated with housing very large and powerful animals, like horses, flexible fencing is something that you want to have to keep the animals contained. The materials, such as high-tensile polymer mesh, are manufactured to be strong and weather-resistant. Flexible fencing looks great and stands up well in all climates.
Low Maintenance
Large perimeters around the equestrian facilities are often problematic and require constant maintenance. Flexible horse fencing is easy to maintain. The materials are all weather resistant, so you won’t need to back up roof repairs like repairing rotten wood boards or repainting the deck. Furthermore, flexible fencing does not warp easily nor lose its tension so you will require fewer adjustments over time.
Cost-Effective
Despite the higher initial cost of flexible horse fencing compared to other fencing, the long-term savings are great. Flexible Fencing is a lot more durable and doesn’t require much maintenance at all, lowering the costs of needing to repair or replace the fencing. Furthermore, it has the luxury of a long life, so it won’t need to be replaced as frequently, affording you great value with time.
Improved Aesthetics
If your equestrian facility needs an eye-catching view, horse fencing can be flexible and sleek to make your equestrian facility look fresher and modern. Flexible fencing is unlike bulky wood or metal fences as it creates a more open, less obtrusive boundary. Despite being safe and secure for your horses, it can help give that professional image to your facility with its neat and uniform appearance.
Conclusion
Flexible horse fencing is ideal for those looking for a means of protecting their horses that’s safe, flexible, and resilient. Flexible horse fencing looks modern, is cost-effective, and is horse-friendly. For equestrian facilities that want to invest in a fencing option that is both reliable, safe and aesthetically pleasing, flexible horse fencing is the best bet.
