●All Japan GT Championship Series
Eric Comas took the GT-R championship from 1998 to 1999, but as the competition became more intense year by year, the GT-R was unable to win the championship three times in a row. However, Komas/Masami Kageyama (winner at the opening round at Motegi) and Kazuyoshi Hoshino/Tetsu Motoyama (winner at MINE at round 6), who drove the latest BNR34, managed to finish in 2nd and 3rd place in the series by a close margin, showing an outstanding performance. It showed stability. Additionally, the duo of Ukyo Katayama and Michael Krumm, who have recently joined the Nissan team, won a special race in Malaysia, and the oldest active driver, Masahiro Hasemi, retired from the front line after the 2000 season, so there is no shortage of topics to talk about. There wasn't. The GT-R has a 2.6-liter straight-six turbo in the front, whereas the Supra has a 2-liter straight-four turbo in the front, and the Honda NSX has a 3.2-liter V6NA in the midship, and the individuality of the three cars makes the race even more interesting. Also, in the GT300 class, there was one car among many Porsches.
The Silvia S15 fought hard, and Nobuyuki Oyagi/Takayuki Aoki finished 4th in the series.

Alternative universe where in 1990 lemans introduced a hot hatch class:
Honda enters their new CRX featuring the C30A V6 engine from an NSX.
VW enters a mk2 Golf GTI featuring a tuned 12 valve 2.8L VR6 engine from the Passat.
Suzuki enters their mk2 Swift GTi with a 1.6L G16B turbo charged engine
Toyota enters their EP80 starlet GT-turbo with an upgraded 1.5L 4E-FTE engine
Renault enters their brand new Clio with a 2.8L V6 from the Renault 25.
In the end Honda wins by a huge margin citing both aerodynamic efficiency and brutal grip. VW retires after 14 hours due to an overheating issue. Toyota don’t quite have the pace to keep up with the larger capacity V6 cars but the Suzuki punches way above its weight coming in second.

I asked what they had of Hondas so that's what I brought home. this is a Honda NSX, which isn't a car I see much of nor does its design particularly stand out compared to its competitors but it's still really neat
this is the Honda City Turbo II, a car that I don't know much about but I mean look at it
both the NSX and the City are Premium Hot Wheels, which means they have a bit more detail and weight than regular models and they have rubber tires, which is really good
Toyota MR2!! I fucking love this thing. this one isn't a Hot Wheels though, it's actually a Matchbox! my very first of the brand. haven't noticed much different because I haven't played around with these yet, but hey, great car!

A business based on using brand new cars as Touro cars. This business doesn't make profit, but makes a lot of revenue. Imagine using all brand new Mazdas. And maintaining them well.
Unlimited mileage. High discounts for long term. Maximum delivery fee.
Oil change every 10k. Transmission fluid change every 50k, undercoats, etc.
In the end we have the problem of guests fucking up brand new cars, The high costs, etc. It just makes no sense. But then again it's not supposed to make financial sense. It's supposed to just make cash flow.

Lotus Carlton : Legenda Bajing Luncat Dari Inggris
Coba bayangkan, mobil tahun 90an apa yang menurut kalian paling keren dan cepat. Honda NSX? Subaru Impreza? Toyota Supra? Atau bahkan Porsche 911? Bila salah satu mobil tersebut ada di benak kalian, kalian tidak salah. Memang beberapa mobil tersebut menjadi primadona di era 90an dan pasti para penggemar otomotif dunia membeli poster mobil - mobil tersebut untuk dilihat dan direnungkan sehingga pikiran petrolhead di zaman itu dibuat halu melayang dan menjadi impian banyak orang, bahkan hingga saat ini. Setiap mobil tersebut akan mencuri pandangan dan hati siapapun yang melihatnya dan bahkan pria pun akan terbuai oleh nya. Bukan tanpa alasan, mobil - mobil tersebut dicintai karena beberapa alasan, baik itu bodi yang bagus, mesin yang kencang, modification ability yang mumpuni, dan mempunyai racing pedigree yang menyebabkan mobil tersebut menjadi sebuah legenda. Namun, tahukah kalian bahwa ada satu mobil yang menjadi legenda karena mobil ini dibenci karena menjadi Bajing Luncat?
Legenda itu adalah Lotus Carlton. Mungkin beberapa orang masih asing mendengar namanya. Mobil yang memiliki basis dari Vauxhall Omega ini adalah mobil yang legendaris karena mobil ini adalah sleeper yang bilamana kalian bangunkan dari tidurnya, maka dia akan berlari kencang, bahkan bisa dikatakan dia adalah titisan dari Hussain Bolt dalam wujud mobil.
Baiklah, mungkin bahasa itu terlalu hiperbola, tapi saya mengatakan itu karena memang mobil ini dibuat sangat cepat dengan alasan keinginan manajer General Motors pada saat itu untuk membuat mobil yang tidak membosankan karena, hey, ini adalah tahun 1990, dimana masing - masing manufaktur mulai menunjukkan taring nya untuk membuat mobil - mobil yang kencang, keren, dan tentu saja, menjadi legenda. Oleh karena ide diluar kotak yang cukup gila tersebut, General Motos menggelontorkan uang kepada Vauxhall untuk mengembangkan mobil kencang dengan memakai Vauxhall Omega sebagai basis project Carlton.
Nah, pasti kalian bingung kenapa tiba - tiba ada Lotus? Kenapa tidak menggunakan brand “Vauxhall” saja? Kan, Lotus hanya berfokus pada mobil sport saja? Nah sebelum kalian menjadi linglung akibat masalah branding, dahulu General Motors memiliki saham perusahaan Vauxhall dan Lotus pada saat yang bersamaan sehingga Vauxhall dapat meminta tolong Lotus untuk bersama - sama mengembangkan proyek mobil ini. Namun, setelah mobil ini selesai dibangun, Vauxhall enggan untuk memberikan brand mereka untuk Carlton karena sebelumnya, Vauxhall telah memiliki Vauxhall Omega versi kencang sehingga dikhawatirkan Carlton dapat mengganggu penjualannyat. Maka dari itu, Vauxhall memberikan “keistimewaan” kepada Lotus untuk memberikan Carlton dengan nama brand mereka. Dan setelah melewati berbagai proses pengembangan, pada tahun 1990, lahirlah Lotus Carlton.
Mobil ini diberi ruh mesin Opel Inline 6 3.0L dengan kode C36GET. Hm. Mesin 3.000cc. Apa keren nya? Mending kita beli mobil yang punya kapasitas besar kalau ingin memiliki mobil yang kencang. Nah beruntunglah General Motors yang pada saat itu memiliki Lotus karena berkat kemampuannya dalam mengembangkan mobil - mobil sport, Lotus memodifikasi mesin tersebut dengan menambahkan 2 turbo, menambah kapasitas mesin menjadi 3.2L, dan disempurnakan dengan transmisi yang diambil dari Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 dan untuk membuat mobil ini lebih mudah dikendalikan, mobil ini diberi suspensi coilover yang mampu mendukung stabilitas mobil ini. Selain itu, disisipkan juga LSD yang juga digunakan oleh Holden Commodore SS. Ya, walau hanya naik 200cc tapi jangan salah. Tenaga yang dikeluarkan oleh keju Stilton ini adalah 377 HP dengan torsi 549Nm sehingga mobil ini mampu melesat hingga 283 Kph dan untuk mencapai 100 Kph hanya membutuhkan waktu 5 detik saja. Mungkin pada saat ini, 5 detik merupakan waktu yang wajar untuk ditempuh mobil - mobil sport lainnya. Namun kembali pada zaman itu, 5 detik adalah waktu yang dapat mengalahkan beberapa mobil sport, bahkan supercar seperti Ferrari pun dapat dikalahkan mobil ini dengan “kesederhanaan yang elegan” sehingga mobil ini ditakuti oleh beberapa perusahaan supercar karena kemampuannya yang “diatas akal sehat”.
Oh saya hampir lupa. Mungkin dari judul tulisan ini, kalian bertanya “Hubungan nya mobil ini dengan bajing luncat itu apa?” Nah, kalian pasti mengetahui bahwa bajing luncat adalah sekelompok kriminal yang menjarah barang muatan truk atau bahkan mobil pribadi dengan menjarah kendaraan yang masih melaju dan tidak sedikit dari bajing luncat ini dapat kabur dengan mudah dan bahkan tidak terlacak aparat kepolisian. Dan cerita bajing luncat ini cukup relevan dengan salah satu peristiwa yang terjadi dengan melibatkan Lotus Carlton.
Pada tanggal 26 November 1993 di West Midlands, Inggris, ada sekelompok gang yang tengah merampok sebuah pusat perbelanjaan dan mereka mencuri rokok dan alkohol (mungkin para pencuri memiliki masalah dengan istri nya) . Ketika para pencuri ini hendak kabur, mereka melihat ada sebuah Lotus Carlton dengan plat 40 RA milik salah satu warga yang terparkir di dalam rumah dan mereka mencuri mobil tersebut untuk melarikan diri. Begitu polisi mengetahui para pencuri telah kabur dengan mobil ini, mereka langsung berupaya untuk mengejar mobil ini. Namun, upaya tersebut tentu saja sia - sia. Mobil polisi saat itu, Rover Metro, sebuah mobil kecil yang hanya mampu mencapai kecepatan kurang lebih 120 Kph, tidak sanggup mengejar Lotus Carlton yang mempunyai tenaga buas sehingga mobil ini dapat membawa kabur para pencuri dengan mudah, saking mudah nya polisi pun tidak dapat melacak keberadaan mobil ini bahkan Kepala Polisi West Midlands saat itu mengatakan “Waduh kita benar - benar tidak bisa mengejar mobil ini, dan nampak nya tidak akan pernah bisa” dan itu adalah realita! Terkadang saya bingung padahal saat itu kepolisian Inggris mempunyai mobil polisi yang cukup bertenaga seperti Ford RS200 dan mengapa pada saat pengejaran mereka tidak memakai mobil itu? Namun yang pasti, hingga saat ini, Lotus Carlton 40 RA tersebut belum ditemukan dan spekulasi beredar bahwa mobil ini ditenggelamkan ke dasar danau, dihancurkan di tempat rongsok, atau disembunyikan di tempat tersembunyi.
Akibat dari peristiwa tersebut, pemerintah Inggris ingin melarang penjualan mobil ini karena dinilai berbahaya, terlalu kencang, tidak stabil, dan dianggap “tidak masuk akal dan melawan akal sehat” dan media otomotif pada saat itu juga menilai bahwa mobil ini sangat berbahaya bila dikendalikan oleh pengemudi pemula.
Nah, akhir dari perjalanan mobil ini juga cukup menyedihkan. 2 tahun kemudian, tepatnya bulan Desember 1992, penjualan mobil ini harus dihentikan karena pada saat itu, terjadi resesi yang dialami Inggris dan harga mobil ini dinilai terlalu mahal, yaitu GBP 48.000. Selain itu, Opel sangat berharap mobil ini terjual sesuai target mereka, yaitu 1100 unit. Namun ternyata, hanya 950 unit saja yang terjual. Walaupun tidak terlalu buruk, namun tetap saja tidak mencapai target yang diharapkan.
Saat ini, ada beberapa website yang menjual Lotus Carlton dengan harga yang sangat fantastis, bahkan ada salah satu marketplace yang menjual Lotus Carlton dengan harga hampir GBP 90.000 atau senilai 1.9 Miliar Rupiah! Tapi harga tersebut sepadang dengan cerita tentang kenikmatan, kesenangan, kebrutalan, dan peristiwa yang tersimpan di dalam jiwa mobi ini dan hal itu menjadikan mobil ini sebuah legenda yang bisa dikatakan sebagai legenda bajing luncat asal Inggris.

HISTORIA DE TOYOTA SUPRA
Supra dio sus primeros como una marca japonesa llamada celicaXX y en algunos otros mercados la marca era llamada celica supra este se dio en el año 1978.
El creador de Toyota supra fue Kazuhiko Nagata y el propósito de este carro fue demostrar que este podía ser mas rápido que un Porsche o un Ferrari y exponer el potencial que tiene este carro.
El Toyota Supra de cuarta generación, el JZA80, compitió en el Campeonato de Turismos nipón, el JGTC, desde 1995 en la categoría reina GT500, y resultó ganador en 1997, 2001, 2002 y 2005. Y aunque inicialmente el coche corría con un motor 4 cilindros turbo de 2.1 litros, el 4T-GTE, a principio de la década de los 2000 se optó por el V-8 tipo 3UZ-FE de los Lexus SC430.
El Supra A80 por el motor 2JZ-GTE, un 6 cilindros en línea biturbo de 3.0 litros y 330 CV que en Japón no superaba los 280 CV, al menos sobre el papel. Su velocidad máxima era de 250 km/h, autolimitada, y el 0 a 100 km/h lo cubría en 5 segundos.
A nivel mecánico, el icono de Toyota está equipado con el famoso motor 2JZ-GTE de seis cilindros en línea y 3.0 litros biturbo. Desarrolla una potencia de 330 CV y un par motor de 440 Nm, según se indica en el propio vídeo.
Toyota Celica Supra. 1979 En 1979, Toyota presentó una versión más potente y agresiva del Celica, el Celica Supra (MkI). El coche era más largo que el Celica que tomaba por base (batalla alargada), algo más ancho y sobre todo más potente. Su motor de 6 cilindros en línea y 2.6 litros entregaba la friolera de 110 CV. Éste iba asociado a un cambio manual de cinco marchas o un automático de cuatro.
Toyota Celica Supra. 1982 Un modelo totalmente nuevo y anunciaba la llegada de un lenguaje estético marcado por los ��ngulos rectos tan en boga en los años 80. El coche era más grande que su predecesor, pero tenía una batalla más corta, lo que le permitía ganar en agilidad. Por su parte, el 6 cilindros recibió una culata de doble árbol de levas en cabeza y la potencia resultante alcanzó 145 CV.
Toyota Supra. 1986 Modelo con nombre propio en la gama, separado del Celica. Su 6 cilindros de 3.0 litros con culata de 4 válvulas por cilindro erogaba 200 CV. En 1983, el Supra de tercera generación (MkIII) contaría con una variante turbo que entrega 230 CV. Era una versión rápida, pero más burguesa que deportiva, lo que hacía del Supra un auténtico Gran Turismo apto para viajar rápido y lejos, con estilo y sin cansarse.
Toyota Supra. 1993 La cuarta generación de Supra llegó con aspiraciones de superdeportivo. Viendo la sacudida a la industria premium alemana e italiana que dio Honda con el NSX en 1990, tanto en Asia como en Estados Unidos, en Toyota pensaron que ellos también querían una parte de ese pastel.
El Supra MkIV estrenó un diseño compuesto por curvas, en plena era del biodesign, y caracterizado por un imponente alerón trasero. El coche era más pequeño, más bajo y más ancho que el MkIII. Su motor de 6 cilindros en línea desarrollaba 220 CV, mientras que la variante biturbo entregaba 330 CV. En su día, fue el Toyota más potente jamás fabricado. Con un 0 a 100 km/h en 5 segundos, incluso hoy en día sigue siendo considerado un coche rápido.

Speaking of the Skyline GT-R, it was a straight 6 engine. The first-generation GT-R, which debuted in 1969, was also a straight-six engine, and its predecessor, the 1964 GTB, had a 1500 with an extended engine room and a straight-six engine. The R32 GT-R, which returned to the circuit in 1990 and went on a winning streak, was naturally equipped with a straight-six engine. However, in May 2002, a GT-R that appeared in the All Japan GT Championship SUGO was equipped with a new "V6 engine." All GT-R models were changed to V6.
In March 1990, the Skyline GT-R (BNR32) made its spectacular debut at the West Japan Circuit at the opening round of the All Japan Touring Car Championship. He achieved his first victory by holding off strong opponents such as the Ford Sierra RS500 and Toyota Supra, and since then has won 30 races.

Due to changes in the regulations unique to the series that equalize the combat power of each car, it is impossible to say whether the machines are superior or inferior just by looking at the trends in the number of wins, but since the beginning of the new century, the GT-R has been relatively competitive.
