The COVID-19 outbreak has spread enough trauma in people’s lives, so much so that every homeowner in the US prefers investing in an underground bunker. Resembling the concept of the basement, an underground bunker serves the purpose of a secret savior during the necessary times. So, while consulting professionals sounds expensive, here’s your comprehensive guide to building one. Let’s elucidate on how to build a backyard bunker using the right materials in the following points.

Today, Dean helps Jack to pierce their ears. Not able to go to a professional piercer due to Jack's healing abilities, Dean decides to pierce the nephilim's ears the same way he'd pierced his own as a teen. Dean numbs Jack's ears with an ice cube, holds a potato behind them for stability, then quickly pierces them with a sterilized sewing needle. The jewelry had to go in fast and stay in, as Jack's powers caused them to immediately heal the piercing around the jewelry. After successfully installing the earrings, they admire their new look in the mirror and find they can use minor miracles to make the semi-permanant jewelry look however they want.

Ho-hum 2001 house in Glade Park, CO. 3bds, 3ba, 2,054 sq ft, $799k. It's nothing at all special, but it has a secret.
So, you can see that it's 3 levels high and it's nothing special.
Maybe if it was decorated differently. Given some color and personality.
Maybe they rent it out short term.
I didn't expect a bidet.
Large primary suite.
Big decks all around on 2 levels.
So, there it is, practically in the middle of nowhere.
But, somewhere in the house, there's an entrance to a bunker.
Actually, it's nicer than the house.
The colors are certainly nicer.
I don't know why they built it, but I guess they had their reasons.
I hope that the area on the right isn't the entrance. That would be too obvioous.
The 13.81 acre lot is carved out of the brush.

I think I would like the bunker more as a concept if they were squatters rather than legacies, you know? Like the the like inherited secret society birthright thing doesn't do it for me but two crunchy regular dudes who find an abandoned secret society hide out and go Aw Shit Free House? THAT I'm into.
#spn#the bunker has some not great effects on the structure of the show#and there's the loss of a certain roadtrip style charm that comes with the characters getting a permanent home#but like I'm fine with it and I think giving the boys a secret base full of magic stuff is kinda fun#I just don't like the whole legacy thing#they should be little thieves about it actually

see i'm always thinking on this bunker pic. you're buried alive in this tomb, physically separate from the rest of normal society in your cold war era military facility silly little dank basement. literally the men who ran this place are long dead and gone. swallowed up by the same violence ruling over your lives, their deaths haunting every corner of this place. before, you were wandering along society's margins and its liminal zones (tbh you're still doing that). but now you have your own base of operations! live long enough as a cowboy see yourself turn into the cia
#always thinking about sam refusing to call the bunker his home hrmmmrahghhhhgahg#and thinking on the show and the greater fandom's insistence on. cozifying this place#and ppl treating it like. sam inherently has no concept of home :((( WRONG he does not want to call an army headquarters his HOME#the tight cocoon of militarism they've been encased in their whole lives...#the bunker is just another symptom of that!#the bunker is a haunted house#j.txt

Dean has been calling the place where he and Cas go together a "home" since Purgatory:
DEAN: Cas, we're going home...
But back then, you could conceptualize that as well... Earth. And late in season 8, Cas mentions that he likes the bunker (it's orderly/tidy), but it isn't his home yet.
///
Then in season 10, Dean awkwardly "I'm glad you're here's" Cas like he's dying to ask him to stay. (And Cas resoundingly shoots that down, intentional or not.)
///
But by season 12, it's clear that Dean's HOME is Cas's HOME home; Cas's home is Dean's home. In season 12, when Dean got mad (script-only), even after yelling about NO BARS THAT'S YOUR EXCUSE????
Welcome home.
What a beautiful little shift.

BONUS:
13x19
And eventually, they have the same home and the same family.

There's Something in the Water AU Teaser
Welcome to South Bunker! A gem of a town so well hidden it doesn't even appear on your GPS.
Stop at the diner for a bite to eat. Food so good you'll immediately want a nap before you even finish your plate.
Enjoying your cabin? That's what we love to hear, but you may want to keep your curtains closed. Some of the neighbors are a bit nosy.
Car trouble? That happens a lot around here, but don't worry. We have the best mechanic around.
Venture into the woods for a hike, but don't stray from the path and be wary of the hunters. They can get a little trigger happy.
It's truly picturesque when the sun goes down. It almost distracts you from the screams.
Oh, you're leaving?
No, you're not.
Welcome home.

There is no mandatory enlistment for a ship war. Your draft number will not come up. "Well but they" no. You must chill. You must chill. Absolutely nothing is compelling you to the front this day. Stay home and water your crops

Residing in a house bunker might be an intriguing affair. But let’s face the truth – a bunker isn’t just made for fun. In the bygone days, these bunkers used to offer shelter to people encountering dangers.

Today, we have a bunker for sale. It's not as interesting as a decommissioned missile tower. "Originally constructed in the 1960s at a cost of $4.5 million, an equivalent value today exceeding $34 million, this bunker represents the pinnacle of security and resilience." Located in Polo, Missouri, 35 min. from Kansas City, it has 4bds, 2ba, $2M.
The entrance hall has an industrial look, but they tired to make the home look elegant.
It has 2 massive 3,000 pound blast doors, 2.5-foot-thick concrete walls, additional layers of earth & EMP-resistant copper shielding, plus an emergency escape hatch and a towering 177-ft communication tower.
it's roomy- look at the size of the living room. One must wonder why people decorate these with traditional furniture. It needs colorful, modern stuff.
There's a bar for entertaining.
One of the bathrooms.
This is a soundproof room- it's not as if there are any neighbors around, though.
They have a home office here.
Laundry and stuff. The self-sufficient home has a private water well, a pump, and a 10,000-gallon stainless steel water storage tank, all connected to a Water Filtration System.
And, here's your new hobby- it's a glass blowing studio. I wonder if the owner would teach the new owner how to use it.
Looks like a massive air system.
Above the workshop is a large loft area.
There's a family room- notice the windows above, they are for some of the bedrooms. There's also supposed to be a home theater room, but it's not shown.
On the 2nd fl. is the 2nd bath. Not liking the hole in the wall behind the toilet.
This is the kitchen.
This is an odd place to locate the kitchen w/all this other equipment.
Through the kitchen you can see the upstairs living room.
You can see that the kitchen is on the other side.
The bedrooms are off a hall off of the living room.
The bedrooms.
This area serves as a closet.
The plot of land is 10.5 acres and the real estate description suggests that you can built your dream home on it, over the bunker.

Okay I do love Bobby's but at least for Dean, he considered the bunker HIS home, as opposed to Bobby's home. He had his own space and decorated it the way he wanted, the Dean cave was full of things he adored, the first thing he did when he got there was making a home cooked meal, and spent a lot of the time just nesting and feeling like it was his own space. I'm not saying Bobby's wasn't a wonderful place for him or that he didn't feel safe, but I think just internally he wasn't able to call it a home the way he does the bunker. And I hear all the arguments that the bunker is underground and doesn't have light but it can still be a home if you feel safe and if you feel like it's your own. It doesn't have to be a permanent home but he still felt like it was his home. Anyways I love the bunker as the first home Dean's ever owned <33
#maybe i take it personally when the main argument against the bunker is that it's underground like that's not the definition of a home#insert something profound about a home and a house#AGAIN im not saying Bobby's wasnt a safe space or it wasn't a home for him#but I think the bunker was HIS home#anyways I've lived in a basement for a good chunk of my life and I've also lived in an apartment with huge windows#and they both felt like home bc i made it my home#renu rambles#bunkernatural
