THE MOST SPECIAL ONE 🐶 ᐁ Elvis and 'Albert' ᐁ

People are commonly mistaken saying this dog was one of Elvis' own Great Danes (Elvis had three Great Danes: Brutus, Snoopy and Edmund), but Priscilla said it wasn't one of their family dogs. I didn't found his name or info about who he belongs to, tho. :( If I find anything I'll update this post.

An Angela Lansbury Appreciation Post:

Imagine being 36 and getting cast in a big movie with a major star only you are cast as the 26-year-old Elvis Presley’s mother! (Blue Hawaii) As a consolation, she did get a love wardrobe designed by Edith Head, including this gorgeous coral chiffon confection, and it prepared her for getting another maternal role at 37 playing 34-year-old Laurence Harvey’s parent (The Manchurian Candidate).

At least another year later she got to do comedy and be all princess-y in a Danny Kaye vehicle (The Court Jester) and play nobody’s mother and get another highly feminine wardrobe from the mind of Edith Head. (Look at that waistline!)

Both costumes are on display currently at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art’s Edith Head exhibition, through September 2024.
