Physical appearance/pronouns and sexuality- I’m a she/ her bisexual, I’m very feminine and I love the color pink and pretty dresses. I dress very girlie but I rock the athletic clothes for dance, which I’ve been doing for twelve years.

Personality- I’m a huge extrovert, I love talking to people, and I work at a museum! I love school and I want to study foresnsic in college. I can be a little closed off emotionally to people I don’t like, and I tend to gravitate towards those I feel like share my experiences with society shunning them. I value honestly and kindness above anything else.

hobbies/interests- I’m a true crime girlie! I want to study forensics in college, my favorite subject right now is psych, and I am an over analyst when it comes to human behavior. I speak English and Spanish and a little French, but I’m always open to learning more languages. I love baking and if wasn’t going to study forensics I would go to pastry school.

Explanation: staring off with appearances I think she loves the way you look- your hyperfeminine looks of dresses and pink and she personally isn’t girly but thinks it’s a totally cute (fucking hot) look on you. She also loves your athletic outfits and thinks it’s amazing. You’ve been doing dance for 12 years and really admires your swift motions and graceful skill. Honestly, you guys would get along so well she’s also extroverted and she thinks it’s amazing that you work at the museum and frequently visits and ask you a lot about exhibits and things like that. I think she finds it fascinating and honestly, you guys would just be such a cute couple together. You guys would be so uplifting and your personalities are pretty similar so I think that she would really enjoy hanging out with you as a romantic partner. Not as much of a true crime because the fact that’s way too close to his actual life so I think if you guys ever wanted to watch something together, you’d probably need to pick something different but he supports that if you’re passionate about it. He thinks it’s wonderful that you value honesty and kindness above all else and I don’t think he would ever wanna break your trust and he’s just really he thinks that you’re too good for Gotham and he thinks that there needs to be more people like you in this world and he’s kind of a cynical or more jaded person so I feel like having you by his side he would just be able to see a little bit better sides of the universe. I think he would also like the novel pride and prejudice a lot so I think he would definitely read that with you and then discuss it afterwards and have your own little mini book club. I think he’s actually a pretty good baker. I don’t know why I just had Canon him is being the best at baking besides Alfred because he spends a lot of time around Alfred learning his ways around the kitchen so I feel like you guys would make stuff together and it would actually be pretty good. I actually think that he’s the type of person to know just a little bit of many different languages like he can’t speak fluently in many languages, but he can carry a conversation in most common languages. Anyway, you guys are super cute. ♥️

I woke up in the bus with no memories.. I didn't like it. The feeling was one of being alone and defenseless. I could remember something about my pocket and a coin.. And something about someone promising to come back. I sat up - being curved is no goo-

"Oh you're finally awake, Jason." a voice said beside me, I looked at saw a boy with bronze skin(how did I know that was the color?) brown-red eyes and pitch black hair. "Cut the kid some slack Leo" a girl said behind us, I looked back and... she was gorgeus. Uneven brown hair, fair-ish skin, green/blue eyes. Soft smile... The uniform I and Leo wore looked like it barely was deserving of being on *her* body-

"Hey? Earth to weird thirteen year old on the bus? Earth to the kid that skipped gra- AUH! Piper don't smack me! HIJA DE LA-" I realized I'd been staring.. Embarrassing. "Sorry about Leo" she said "But are you okay? You were staring off-"

"mhm" I lied. I didn't know if I wanted to crawl out of my skin because I didn't remember or because "Piper" spoke to me. "I'm okay"

Then a fawn- No it was a human, well he shouted from where what I assumed was the driver was. "Alright ye' brats! Get your sheets ready because we're just about to arrive! If you can't remember who your partners are I'll pass list again!"

He sounded.. Very annoyed. Recalling the last few minutes I realized that he had been getting asked over and over who the partners were.

"Piper McLean and Dylan Courtner!"

Piper rolled her eyes and I shifted my gaze to see a piece of wind- No, a boy, grinning mischievously.

"...dumb couch edge.." she mumbled, Coach Edge seemed to stare at the list in confusion for a moment then continues. "Jason Grace and Leo Valdez." I looked at Leo and smiled slightly but he seemed annoyed. So I stopped. "could've sworn it was with Piper.." he mumbled

I honestly can't quite recall when we got off the bus. There were so many kids talking and I felt like I was used to hearing 7 conversations at the same time yet I couldn't pay attention to any of them.

Dylan pulled Piper around like a doll, and Leo had to stop me from launching myself at that jerk! I swear, he has fog for a brain (and as I'd learn later, that's no exaggeration.)

First snippet of Chapter 4!

   Leo meticulously checked the controls and interface of the Argo II up on deck, ensuring that their course was on track to pass Malta within another day before taking to the air and proceeding to Rome. 

   Back in Rayla’s room, she stirred from her sleep and found Callum sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall, clearly having stayed with her the entire night. 

   Of course he did, she thought, appreciating the unspoken comfort in his presence.

   Rayla got up and walked over to him, kneeling next to him and gently threading her hand through his hair. 

   “Wake up, sleepy mage,” she teased. 

   Callum blinked his eyes open, then focused on her right next to him. 

   “You slept alright?” he asked, his worry evident. She smiled, she was always his first concern.

   “Better than you by the looks of it,” she remarked, and Callum chuckled, “I can assure you the floor is very comfortable.”

   Rolling her eyes playfully, Rayla got up, saying, “Mmhmm, whatever you want to tell yourself.” 

   Callum stood as well, his caring gaze never leaving her. “You’re feeling okay? You haven’t had that dream in a while.”

   Rayla glanced downward, and Callum gently took her hand, “It’s the spell you cast yesterday.” 

   Confused, Callum asked, “What?”

   Sighing, Rayla explained, “The last time you cast that spell was right before…” They got captured by Finnegrin, Callum finished the thought in his head. 

   “Oh, Ray, if I’d thought about it-”

   “No, you did what you had to do and it worked. That’s all,” Rayla interrupted, stopping any self-blame in its tracks.

   Growing more concerned, Callum took both of her hands in his, “Look, Rayla,” he spoke softly, “I’m sorry, just let me say that for once, okay?” He understood her tendency to blame herself and wanted to offer her the comfort she deserved.

   Rayla looked into Callum’s earnest eyes, recognizing the sincerity in his apology. She softened, letting go of the weight she carried. 

   “Okay,” she replied, her voice reflecting a mixture of gratitude and acceptance.

   Callum pulled her into a gentle hug, reassuring her without words. “I’m here for you, Ray. Always,” he whispered, and she found solace in the warmth of his embrace.

   They lingered in that quiet moment, each understanding the unspoken connection that bound them together. Eventually, Rayla broke the embrace, giving Callum a small smile. “Thanks,” she said, appreciating his support.

   Callum returned the smile, but his eyes held a lingering concern. “If there’s anything you need, anything you want to talk about, I’m here,” he offered.

   Rayla nodded, grateful for his understanding. “I know, Callum.”

   With the key laid out before them on the deck, the group gathered for a discussion, each member bringing their unique skills to the table. 

   Callum, ever curious, attempted a revealing spell using Moon Magic, uttering, “Secretum Revelare.” However, the key remained unchanged, resisting the magical attempt to unveil its secrets.

   Sadie, not to be outdone, invoked a revealing spell of her own with a confident, “Sun-ah,” but like Callum’s attempt, it yielded no discernible results. Frustration and intrigue mixed on their faces as they grappled with the mystery surrounding the key.

   Carter studied the hieroglyphics inscribed on the key, his eyes narrowing in concentration. “‘Key of Egypt, Kingdom of the Golden Sands, Allow safe passage through The Ways,’” he mused. “It seems like a set of instructions, but the question is, what ways does it refer to?”

   Rayla furrowed her brows, a hint of frustration in her voice. “If this is supposed to be a key, shouldn’t it, you know, unlock something? Like a magical barrier or a hidden entrance?”

   Callum nodded in agreement. “I tried a revealing spell, but it’s like the key is impervious to Primal Magic.”

   Sadie, determined to contribute, tapped her staff thoughtfully. “Maybe it requires a specific incantation, something related to Egyptian magic. My spell didn’t do the trick, but we might need something with a deeper connection to this key’s origin.”

   Carter, looking at the hieroglyphics, added, “We should consider the context. ‘Key of Egypt, Kingdom of the Golden Sands’—it suggests more than a physical lock and key. Perhaps it involves traversing magical pathways specific to Egypt.”

   Leo, engrossed in the technical aspect, offered, “Maybe there’s some kind of mechanism or code. Like, you have to press it or say a specific phrase. I mean, it worked for the Doors of Death, right?”

   As the discussion delved deeper into their experiences in Egypt, Piper hesitated before bringing up Luxor. “Remember Luxor? The illusions there were intense, and they seemed to tap into your deepest fears.” she said, gesturing to The Kane siblings, “Do you think we’ll encounter something similar in Rome?”

   Sadie, considering the question, responded, “It’s a possibility. The Collector seems to revel in using our personal history against us. Luxor was unsettling, and I wouldn’t put it past him to tailor challenges to each of us based on our vulnerabilities.”

   Jason, who had been listening attentively, chimed in. “So, what could be waiting for us in Rome? What kind of trial might we face?”

   Carter pondered, “Well, Luxor was about facing our past, and each of us had to confront something personal. We can only assume Rome will be similar for you and Piper. It’s hard to predict, but being aware of our experiences in Egypt might give us some clues.”

   Piper added, “The Colosseum has a history of gladiator battles and public spectacles. Maybe we’ll be thrust into some sort of arena, facing not just physical challenges but emotional ones too. It could be about proving ourselves to the spectators—or The Collector.”

   Rayla, who had been relatively quiet, spoke up. “We need to be prepared for anything. The illusions in Egypt were disorienting, and we shouldn’t underestimate the psychological toll they can take. We’ll need to rely on each other and stay vigilant.”

   The group fell into contemplative silence, the weight of the upcoming trial hanging in the air. The Colosseum awaited, a looming arena that held mysteries yet to be unveiled.

Redraw of Piper Mclean, a drawing I did 6 years ago.

Piper was always my favourite to draw, so I thought I could use my skills to redesign her as I could see her now. So she got light blue jeans showing her ankles, black sneakers, short black top on a t-shirt and her cornucopia as well as some pointy dagger.

I wanted to give her hair a new look than the one I used to draw regularly. I couldn’t get rid of the braid, but added some loose strands, and gave her violet dye.

I’m satisfied with how the new Piper turned out, what do you think? Should I redraw some other characters maybe?
