(Casper x reader, 500 words, post-ending 3, T for language)
“Casper. I need you to listen to me very carefully right now.”
You turn your phone around to face him, and he looks at you confused before reading aloud: “‘Immediate action required for your bank account.’” His brows knit as he looks up at you. “That sounds serious, are you in some kind of trouble?”
“No, no. Look at who it’s sent from.”
He reads the (incredibly phony-sounding) email address back to you, and then looks at you again, still confused.
You point at it. “This is what a scam text looks like.”
Casper narrows his eyes. He looks back at the text, then looks back at you. “But… it says your immediate action is required. Isn’t your bank account very important?”
You sigh. “It’s a lie, babe. They want me to click that link and put in my bank password. They’ll take that password to hack into my actual bank account, and then they’ll steal all my money.”
He still seems unconvinced. “But… what if you’re wrong?”
“You really are a scammer’s wet dream, you know that?”
He bristles slightly. “I do not want to risk not taking immediate action on my bank account.”
That gives you pause. “Wait, do they have banks in the underworld?”
“Yes? How do you think we deal with money?”
“Even in the underworld you have to deal with capitalism?” Honestly, you thought that his society was better than yours at that kind of thing. Though, maybe the whole ‘he was created for one purpose and that purpose is his job’ thing should’ve tipped you off. The billionaires of the mortal realm would love that shit. “Fuck, next you’re gonna tell me there’s capitalism in the afterlife, too.”
He shrugs. “I do not know. It is possible.”
“Please don’t say that to me. Anyway. If you’re gonna live in the mortal world for now, you’re gonna need to be able to tell what a scam looks like.”
“As far as I can tell, I cannot have a bank account here without an ID. Which, as I am not a citizen of this world, I do not have.”
“Yeah, yeah, I know I’m your sugar daddy from here on out. But there’s still plenty of stuff I want to help you not fall for. Like the fucking virus you gave my computer last week.”
He frowns. “It said I had won a prize.”
“Also, what if we have to forge some documents for you and get you an ID and bank account?”
There’s a hint of a smile on his face. “Are you looking to break as many of your world’s rules as I have mine? It will be much harder for us if we both have to go on the run.”
You pinch the bridge of your nose and heave an exaggerated sigh. “Point taken. Just. Please. If you get any texts, emails, or popups like this… come to me before you click anything, okay? The geek squad guys think I’m an idiot.”
“It is not—“
“So I told them that my idiot boyfriend is the one who clicked the link.”
He pouts, and it’s very, very cute. “Very well.”

JJK CHARACTERS AS SCAM ARTISTS. (JUJUTSU SCAMMERVERSE.) (PT.1)
____________________________________
(a series dedicated to Jujutsu kaisen characters and what type of scammers they would be. (Keep in mind this is just a joke - slander if you will. Lmao. )
-> PART 2(toji)
TW// dusty!satoru, scammer!satoru, dustmite!gojo, mentions of scammer!geto, crackfic
1K+ words
(if you have eczema , asthma, or a cold, reading this fic featuring dusty gojo and (a very little, but still dusty) geto will make you cough, wheeze, hack, and sneeze. read at your own risk.)
____________________________________
SATORU GOJO - THE MONARCH SCAMMER.
-SATORU is definitely the "over-the-phone" foreign country emperor-type scammer. The kind of scammer who chooses gullible females (such as elderly women,) or vulnerable women (such as lonely widows,) on purpose - he's no misogynist, but he finds women easier to manipulate cash out of (partially due to his good looks and silver-tongue). Besides, what woman can resist a handsome ""emperor"" from a foreign country? with a foreign accent?
-SATORU would definitely be the type to carefully plan out his responses/behaviors before manipulating his victims for cash - he'd purposefully distance himself away from his victim for days, but not before saying things like: "I'm broke", "I have no job", then arrive with a half-assed apology 3 days later, "oh- sorry! was busy working, lol :p"
-SATORU would obviously not be stupid enough to contradict himself, By accident that is. He knows what he's doing, he's just making it seem like he's hiding something... Hiding the fact he's the quote "emperor from some rich foreign country".
He realizes he could never just say that though, so instead, he'd leave little traps for his victim to pick up on, hints, and clues, that'll eventually all add up and corroborate his story.
-SATORU's entire goal from start to finish would be to push the theory without explicitly saying it. The more distance between you two, the more suspicious you will get.
the more desperate for an answer you feel as he pushes you away? This is how he lures you in, although you'll never realize it until the end.
-SATORU would only strike when he knows he's destroyed your morale. When you inevitably lower your standards for an explanation as to why he's been "traveling in and out of Japan", desperate for anything, you'll accept his outlandish confession of being a
"foreign imperial monarch, emperor of the south who has 8 Bugatti's and 5 exotic albino peacock-tigers and an 89 figure bank account".
And regardless of whether you truly believe it or not, you accept it. Because you're just desperate for his company and tired of feeling neglected.
-SATORU would use his previous absence to further push the theory if you still weren't convinced enough. "Yeah, the reason I missed your birthday was because I was helping the local Duke of the North. I got injured, so I was in the hospital". he wasn't.
"remember when I said I couldn't be there for your promotion party? The guards of the south needed my assistance on the day of the party, so I traveled to Japan to help them.". He didn't.
"That picture of me on the airplane was me traveling to my kingdom". He literally snuck onto that plane without a ticket...
-SATORU is smart, smart enough to know you probably would begin to doubt his fictitious empire and his tenuous adventures about "large boats made out of porcelain with golden jewels, exotic albino caviar, and white pearls" in Bali, Indonesia.
So, to further sell the dream - he sends in cash or expensive gifts now and then as the final nail in the coffin. To some inexperienced scammers, it just looks stupid, considering he's supposed to be the one receiving money, "counterproductive" they say.
But Satoru just scoffs and writes them off as "amateurs". He doesn't see it as ""CoUnTeRpROduCtive"" He sees it as an investment, a down payment, or to put it more accurately, a security deposit for the future.
"It isn't guaranteed you will get back the same treatment in dividends from the person you choose to pour all this unnecessary money into..."
Nanamin often remarks. But again, Satoru just scoffs. Nanamin just doesn't understand the psychological genius behind a true mastermind such as THE gojo Satoru, king of the con artists. Some say he's arrogant, but he'd just say he's confident in his abilities as a scam artist.
what comes around goes around, and he's gonna get his money back one way or another. it's just his good karma.
-SATORU's best friend, confidant, and partner in crime, geto, comments that if any regular person were to describe Gojo, they would say he's an absolute despicable excuse of a human being.
If any of his victims were to describe him, they'd say he was a learning experience and their first real heartbreak.
If an advanced scammer were to describe Satoru, they would say he is a genius but arrogant hustler in a world full of flim-flam cowards,
a true fraudster in the flesh. Most scammers who've heard the tales of Satoru Gojo assume he's worked his way up to the top all by his lonesome, brewing his own methods of mind games and manipulation processes resulting in successful licks among women internationally.
But, geto would just chalk it all up to him being born into a very corporate family.
One that happens to scam their customers out of new and expensive phones every 6 months for minimal features but 6000x times the price. it's worth it though, because you get 50kb more space. :>
-SATORU would never let another man in your life. not in jealousy - but in greed. He's had men in the past attempt to distance his victims away from him in either pursuit of a romantic relationship, or because they're trying to play fraudster as well, While he's still trying to play HIS tricks.
you can guarantee no matter who it is - Satoru takes it as a sign of blatant disrespect if another scammer attempts to try and get in the way of his bag
So, he makes an example out of them, which is the number 1 reason why Satoru Gojo became the most notorious figure in the Con-artistry community.
IF a man somehow reaches the god-like proportions Satoru Gojo has achieved in the world of the jujutsu scammer-verse, he'd just have to knock him down to size.
He can't have another shyster challenging his authority. If the JJK scammer verse is the Wild Wild West, there isn't enough room in this town for both of them.
-SATORU in the world of scammers would be the kingpin, the best, the inspiration, the moment, and the blueprint for other scammers in the jujutsu scammer verse.
and he's a dust storm heading toward all the women. ladies, pack your bags, skip town, and lock your doors, it's sneezin' season - and beware of the Toji dust blizzard following right behind
-> PART 2(toji)

TUA seaon 4 recap because fuck Netflix
Hi if you are reading this welcome to I hate Steve Blackman/Netflix but I still wanna know what happened in The Umbrella Academy season 4 club, couple things I should probably warn you before we begin
spoilers ahead(just in case you didn’t read the title this IS the pissing on the poor website
I will be very angry and biased because Netflix took the wife and kids i will hate this guy forever I’m really good at remembering a grudge(no hate to the cast tho they did their very best and defo deserve more
In this recap I will go over the main plots of season 4 with a brief mention of the side plots, do beware some of the plot/shit characters did makes absolutely no sense but hey I'm just the messenger please be mad at Netflop for that
Season 4 Episode 1, The Unbearable Tragedy of Getting What You Want(aka us getting season 4 but only 6 episodes)
After loosing their powers when they came back to the main timeline last season, the brellies have lived the past 6 years somewhat peacefully, Luther is a stripper now, Diego and Lila is married with 3 kids, Allison is now a B list celebrity living with Claire, Klaus is sober and a germaphobe, Five is working for the CIA(bro is too busy working to cut his hair i hate it), Ben is a crypto scammer who just got out of prison, Viktor owns a bar and keeps getting dumped by girls(sure whatever)
The new big bad this season is a pair of wacky scientists named Gene and Jean, they are the leader of this cult called The Keepers who are trying to make “The Cleanse” happen, which is just a fancy name for the apocalypse.
Okay so basically this episode Vikor got kidnapped by random guy(I’m not even gonna mention his name he’s just here for plot so I don’t care about him) on his way to Diego and Lila’s kids birthday party, the siblings go and rescue him, random guy said hey actually i'm a big fan of yall if you can rescue my daughter Jennifer from a remote location I will be forever grateful, the group was like nah we are actually powerless now but Five was like wait we are doing this your welcome because he found a bottle of marigold(the thing that gives them their powers) in the belongs of the missing daughter, after this they went to dinner and Ben drugged everyone (except Klaus coz he didn't drink it) with the Marigold so now they are gonna get their powers back.
there's also this side plot where Lila and Five went undercover to investigate The keepers, Lila didn't tell Diego so he thought Lila was cheating on him with some guy whos actually just Five(buddy you are not gonna believe this in like 4 episodes this came true I hate it here)
Season 4 Episode 2, Jean and Gene(they were a cute couple but they will NEVER be Hazel and Cha Cha)
After they got their powers back they went to find random guy but he's missing, leaving a hint about New Grumpson, Maine so the siblings went there roadtrip style(their car also blasting baby shark non stop its not relevant to the plot i just think is funny), the siblings arrived to this small town, Ben was like you know what I’m done with yall bye, when he tries to leave he met Jennier in disguise, they have a chat, fall in love immediately(talk about speed dating am i right), the towns people learned that the siblings are here for Jennier so they pull the guns out and starts shooting, turns out they are all working for deadbeat dad of the century Reginbald Flopgreeves, so the siblings fight with their new and slightly improved superpowers(that apparently drained the vfx budget because the final big bad is ugly asf??? the same show that gives us Pogo?? whatever man)
Meanwhile Klaus was chilling in the car, a fake Jennifer who's pretending to be the real Jennifer asks Klaus for help, then shoots him before the siblings can stop her, Klaus told the siblings he doesn't want to get his powers back and dies, but Allison don’t take no for an answer and water board klaus with the marigold, Klaus came back from the dead, and then Jean and Gene crash into the siblings, kidnapping Jennier.
Back to the Lila Diego Five cheating side plot (ugh), during the roadtrip, Diego tells Five he thinks Lila is cheating on him, Five is like don't worry about it buddy it won’t happen for another 3 episodes (okay the last part was me but Five did tell Diego it’s probably nothing) and Lila overheads their conversation and thank Five for not exposing her GIRL JUST TELL YOUR HUSBAND STOP BEING SHADY *sigh*
Oh and Five keeps teleporting to this subway station that have trains going to different timelines but we never found out who the fuck build this so dont ask me idk either
Season 4 Episode 3, The Squid and the Girl (The plot and the holes because nothing makes any sense anymore)
We start with a flashback to young Jennifer being rescued from giant squid but WE NEVER GOT THE EXPLINATION GIRL WHY ARE YOU INSIDE THAT FUCKING SQUID so we are just gonna move on focus people we are half way though the season shit is about to go down(unfortunately)
After Jean and Gene kidnapped Jennifer, the siblings starting doing what they do best, arguing with each other, this is when Klaus give us the greatest summary of the show,
Klaus then leaves the group, Ben also was like nah fam im out for real and then leaves. The remaining siblings decided to split into two groups, Five Diego Lila went to The Keepers HQ to investigate, Viktor Luthor Allison went to find dear old dad Reggaeton Hargriefs. So Diego finds out that The Keepers have a document about Brellie!Ben’s death aka The Jennifer Incident.
Ben who’s getting tf out, discovers he got hand mouth foot disease with rgb red lights on his hand(see kids this is why you don't touch hands with girls before you get married) random guy pops out and was like bro did you find my daughter, Ben was like yeah I did and I also fall in love with her, random guy was like good good now use your squidar to find her so Ben did just that and rescue Jennifer from Jean and Gene.
For Viktor Luther Allison, they went to a giant mansion that their father owns, expecting to have to fight their way in, but the guards there are like, ah yes master Vikor please welcome in we have been waiting for you, turns out in this timeline Abigail, Rickroll Harkonnen’s wife was still alive and is the one who runs the house + her husband, so the kids were like ma’am your husband is a dick to us in another timeline can you tell him to shut up and help us, she agreed and he obeyed. Now the kids(Luther Allison Diego and Viktor) are putting on their thinking caps to restore their memory of The Jennifer Incident(because dead old dad erased their memory of it talk about childhood erasure)
*sigh* so the Five Diego Lila subplot, when Diego was investigating in the Keepers HQ, Five and Lila blink to the subway station, they got on a train and went to the original apocalypse but five was just like meh guess this wasn’t THAT traumatic pffff I only got stuck here for 40 years no biggie anyway time to get on the train and go home I guess, this shouldn’t affect me in any shape of form given that you know I’m so calm and collected when I first got here :))))))))) yes i'm being sarcastic NO ONE should be this calm and collected here okay.
Diego and Lila also talk things out, Lila apologizes and then says she wants to take a break from their marriage(sure lady whatever
no im NOT even gonna mention what Klaus has been up to, for me he went home to Claire bear and talk shit out with her end of story.
Season 4 Episode 4, The Cleanse (maybe why the Keepers what to make the cleanse happen so badly is because they saw ep 5 and be like nope go to hell yall)
We got a flashback to what happened with brellie!Ben, turns out he was murder by Regglodocus Hippocampus, our beloathed deadbeat dad of the century on a mission where the umbrella academy is securing a package(Jennifer in a box) but they touch hands so bro just straight up kills them both in front of the siblings(bro can we delete you from existence I hate this man with a passion)
The siblings are obviously pissed, AbiFail then explained that it's not her asshole husbands fault, years ago she created the marigold and unknowingly also created Durango, when these two particles touch hands, its gonna end the world for the billionth time(aka the cleanse), this also what happened to their homeworld, and it's gonna end earth if they don't separate Ben and Jennifer(because she got a shitton of durango in her).
Ridiculous Hepatitis then said we must go to kill one of them to stop the world from dying and Viktor is like NOT ON MY WATCH I WILL SAVE BEN and they have a little showdown, Vikor wins(duh) and they are like let's just check this crime scene Ben created last episode when he came to save Jennier okayyy.
The siblings got there + flop dad, Lila told Five hey what if we go back in time with the trains and stop the Jennifer incident from happening in the first place and five is like alright bet, but we cant tell Diego for plot reasons so Imma tell my CIA boss to take Luther and Diego to CIA HQ and babysit them( sis just tell him Diego might be a dumbass but he’s a dumbass that listens smh)
Anyway the siblings split into teams again, Viktor and Renaissance Harrypotter went to track Ben and Jennifer, Five and Lila got on the time train, Luther and Diego were at the CIA, Allison went to save Klaus from the TUA writers.
oh and Ben and Jennier fucks and it kills everyone within the radius lmao
Season 4 Episode 5, Six years, Five months, and two days ( just end my suffering rn)
We start with a montage of Five and Lila being stuck in train hell, unable to find the right train home so they are kinda just traveling from timelines to timelines, they decide to stop and stay in one of them with a strawberry farm(ew), and the most terrible thing ever fucking happend, apprently in these six years they caught feelings and they kissed fucking hell son of the bitch steve blakman I am in your fucking walls I fucking hate it here why can’t good thing last fuck off five would NEVER do this to his siblings this motherfucker spend 40 years and the entirety of season two trying to save his siblings why the fuck would he kiss his sister in law I hate it here
also #justicefordolores
BUT this isnt it
One day he went out for scraps and he found his old note book with the instructions on how to get home, he stashes it and only tell Lila about it 5 fucking months later
5 FUCKING MONTHS
I don't even know what to say let's just get over it okay
so yeah after this they call things off and just went home
Back to Vikor, he calls Ben with the help of dad and tells him hey buddy you have to stop the world and stop your feelings for Jennifer because you are gonna end the world if you stay with her, Ben refuses saying that he’s never been better(sure buddy) Ben and Jennifer plans to run away but Jennifer felt sick so they stop and went to a random mall to hide/ask for help.
Luther and Diego did absolutely nothing in CIA HQ and they realized they were being babysat so they dipped, oh and they also fought a bunch of people in the process which is cool I guess.
Season 4 Episode 6, End of the Beginning(thank fuck is over I’m freeee)
The Keepers are guarding the mall that Ben and Jennifer are in because they are stupid. Viktor and dad arrived at the scene, Viktor convinced dad to let him extract the durango out of Ben so he doesn’t have to kill him, dad said yeah sure whatever man, so Viktor sneaks in the building.
Meanwhile the rest of the siblings gathered at Lila and Diego’s house, Diego clock those cheating bitches immediately and Diego confronts Lila and she finally confesses but before he could beat the shit out of Five, they saw what's going on with Ben on the news and went to the mall.
Vikor got into the building, Ben is now a glowing clay human hybrid(ewwwww
Vikor tries to extract the durango out of Ben but he ran out of time, Dad’s sniper shoots Ben but before it hits, Jennifer and Ben touch hands for one last time and they transforms into ugly cgi clay monster big bad of the season(like wtf is this
the sibling starts fighting the Bennifer monster, Diego and Five didn’t get the memo so they fought each other instead.
So yeah we are fucked, AbiFail told Ratsass Hankercheif shes the one behind the keepers and she’s trying to right her wrongs by ending the world this way(selfish prick) and Reggie said alight that defo excuses every shitty thing you do man I got a really good wife and they both got sucked into the Bennifer monster(your redemption arc flopped btw I still hate you)
The siblings went back to the academy, thinking about what they can do to stop the Bennifer monster, Five went to the train station again, and discovers a deli run by other Fives, and one of the five told him babes, we are NEVER gonna succeed in stopping the apocalypse because the timeline is broken(it's only supposed to be one) and the existence of marigold is what shattered the timeline so we gotta gotta get sucked into the Bennifer monster and volia marigold + durango = kaboom(they will cancel each other out) BUT the siblings will cease to exist(coz their mum got exposed to marigold and birthed them so no marigold no siblings)
Lila and Allison decided to ship their children and family to the train station and send them on one of the trains to create a paradox I mean to protect them and the siblings got absorbed by the Bennifer monster, the timeline was fixed, none of us are happy, we ended up worse than we started.
The END.
hope yall are okay after reading this, no hate towards the cast whatsoever I 100% blame the writer and Netflix for this , fuck them and uh here’s a virtual hug to yall, peace out.
#I tried to get my shit together but I failed so this happend#truly fuck this shit give me my family back netflix#the umbrella academy#tua#tua recap

Instagram/Facebook/etc art scam
Do you post your commission info on other sites? Then unfortunately you may find yourself messaged by someone who claims they want to commission you but also don’t seem to have read your commission sheet or commission information. This is because they message multiple accounts who post art and don’t really do much to get what info is needed. The main hint to the messenger being a scammer is the following:
1. The message asks you if you are doing commissions. If they looked at your Instagram and you posted that, why are they asking you if it’s a recent post? The answer is obviously yes so there’s no point in asking that, generally. However this is not the main thing to look out for.
2. The message asks you to draw their cat/daughter/son/dog/etc and supplies you with a very generic photograph that likely was stolen off Google images and isn’t actually their photograph. This is the most common commission type they will ask for.
3. The message claims to pay you $300-$600 for this commission. This should instantly be a red flag especially if your commissions are not that high and the commission itself is rather simple. They may also ask you to cash a check for that amount or more. That check is fake and you will not get that money. This is how they scam people who don’t realize it’s a fake check.
4. They want you to contact them via phone number. Don’t do that. If their messaging you via messages, there should not be any reason to need text messaging. Not a main concern, but something to be wary of.
5. They ghost you after you drew the art. They have no intention of paying you for your work even if you do it without payment. Unfortunately you will never get payed.

Torvaz/Johnathon
It's funny how easily narcissists can trick you into thinking they're amazing and get you to do or be anything for them.
Torvaz would know a lot about this. I was ready to fall head over heels for him, and sadly I did. I fell for the lovebombing.
It all turned into gaslighting and manipulation to make it seem like I was the bad guy in every scenario. Let me show you
This was over a period of 2-3 hours. He completely disregarded my boundaries of not wanting sexual comments to spring up on me like that, and then he later got mad that I didn't want to do online sexual stuff with him. He agreed to my wishes in the first part and then disregarded them 2 hours later.
Admittance that animals turn him on so much he has masturbated times before, and still feels this way towards animals.
Iconic abuse that was unprovoked and then screenshots of him choosing to ignore the things I was going through and not be there for me.
This was in response to an inside joke I had with a friend. He dared me to put "taken by the Invincible, Fearless, Sensual, Mysterious, Enchanting, Vigorous, Diligent, Overwhelming, Gorgeous, Passionate, Terrifying, Beautiful, Powerful, Grey Prince Zote." in my discord bio! It was funny and entertaining because it is a fictional character but he automatically attacked and said this
Even after I explained what it was, he still flew off the handle. Also, I did kick him from my server only because I like to keep my server clean and active so he was kicked for being inactive just like 15 other people. I also warned everyone in the server twice at separate intervals, I pinged everyone and if he bothered to look, he could have stopped from being kicked. After all of that because he claimed I was playing mind games, I offered my passwords to everything, remote access to my PC, everything to try and prove my case. He still wouldn't hear about it.
I had a piercing headache that day, and I couldn't even read my screen or type that well but I tried to have this conversation about our first sexual experience between us like adults and then he turned it sexual, again disregarding my boundaries and wouldn't take a hint. I had booked a ticket for this man to go see him so the conversation about this was likely to be brought up.
He made the claim that he didn't know anything about me booking a ticket when the dates were mutually agreed upon, I kept him updated on the process. He knew I booked them minutes later.
I was in the hospital for my epilepsy for 2 weeks, he would not stop requesting me to get into voice chat and help him masturbate and whatnot.
Let's address the accusations made towards me!
He and his family had suspicions that I was a scammer! All because he sent me $30 on two separate occasions, and that his ex did a thing where she ghosted him after saying she was flying out there. This is why I sent proof of the ticket receipt. Why would I show myself constantly on camera, nude or clothed if I was a scammer? Why would I do all the things a scammer WOULDN'T do if I was a scammer?
His accusation that I was the narcissist and the bad guy. I admit to saying TWO things out of almost TWO months, and I apologized for those things profusely. I never got an apology for him, only excuses
I reached out a week later to try and gain closure for both of us, and this is how that went. I went in there with the mindset to settle things and go our separate ways. I do not remain friends with exes, I need space first. The exes that I am friends with, both have respected the space and gave both of us ample time to relax and forgive/forget and now they are my best friends!
Torvaz is the most entitled narcissistic man-child that I have ever met with severe anger issues and cannot take accountability for anything.
The breakup text, I voiced several times that I do not remain friends with exes for a while but still he had the balls to put that there as if I was going to take him up on that offer. Ken and Ash are both exes, and I spent a long time after those breakups so if we were to become friends again, there would be no toxicity or resentment. I voiced that the beginning of the relationship, the middle of it, and several other times. He sent this message while I was asleep. I can respect his feelings but he's done enough of spreading false information, people asking what happened, and he said I asked too many questions. Another time he called me stupid. He also claims I never take accountability, but I did for the things I did that were clearly WRONG, and let me remind you, two things in the span of an almost 2-month relationship. I have proof that I not only apologized for my wrongdoing but also evidence of me apologizing for something HE did, and I cannot count on my fingers how many times I was gaslighted into thinking something or everything was my fault.

Ok I'm like 12 issues into Booster Gold 1986 aka Booster Gold's og run. ANd there's a few things that bother me about the writing choices:
Ok so Booster Gold goes back in time to start his life over with the idea of being a big fish in a small to medium-sized pond with his advanced future tech to make money on superheroing. So why the fuck does he choose to work in Metropolis where he'd have to compete with Superman, in-universe the most popular superhero of all time ever apparently, for both crimes to stop and popularity.
It would make more sense for Booster to pick a city that doesn't have a big-name hero or who's main hero avoids the limelight/has a bad rep to operate out of after his debut.
2. That one issue where Superman has to educate hotheaded rash young Booster Gold that 'superheroes can't just be helping people who claim to be oppressed, they gotta listen to both sides b/c sometimes people who claim to be oppressed are scammers' which is a yikes fucking message to come from a white writer
3. The idea that a formerly poor person whose livelihood relies on the tech he uses for superheroing wouldn't do basic maintenance on his fucking equipment to make sure it stays in proper working order. That it wouldn't even cross Booster's mind to make sure the batteries for his suit stays charged and that he's flabbergasted that his powers are weakening without a hint of a clue why. That reflects poorly on both the character for being made such an idiot when he's not shown to be in the rest of the run and on the writer for thinking the audience are fucking dullards.

A Certain Witch Hunter's Interview Tape
Released between Episode 4 and Episode 5
We start off by discussing whether the Ushiromiya gold is a sham or not and whether there was ever more than one single gold bar.
Details are obviously not correct here, but you are being guided to the generally correct idea that Kinzo got the gold with something involving WW2 and, considering Beatrice gave him that gold, that he probably met her around that time, as well.
Woah, man gets a sprite. We also see how Kinzo's story is being rewritten in the future as a "scammer that never really had the gold, but was able to rebuild his family anyways" - except from Episode 3 we already know for certain that the gold definitely exists, so we are getting some set up into how the truth of the future is rewriting the truth of the past that we will deal with more in ep8.
It's kind of funny because arguing that Kinzo is a piece of shit isn't exactly hard, but you can tell how this person having the preconceived notion that Kinzo is a piece of shit is letting him rewrite any new information he gets as somehow proof that Kinzo is a piece of shit.
In other words, without love, it can't be seen.
Oh.... haha the arc will say it directly right after I make the comment.
And they are being even more forward with the fact that the truth of the future will rewrite the truth of the past, as well.... answer arc was summarized before the Answer Arcs even came out, haha.
Before this we start talking a bit about definitive proof of what happened during this day is definitely gone by now, so you can believe whatever and you can't be contradicted, but then if you understand the heart you should know what happened, anyways.
The attitude of Battler and others who think they can't understand Beatrice due to being an evil witch is being admonished here.
This arc feels like some last hints before we start the Answer arcs and some general guidelines you should follow for how to solve Umineko, as well as some set up for some themes that will be explored further down the line. It was actually really good, I think.

Nutmeg the Socially Impaired Nutcase
Meghan the "Nerd," nobody cares what you achieved at The Little Red School House. Show us the Northwestern Diploma which would prove to the world that Northwestern incorrectly printed: "Rachel Meghan Markle, candidate for a degree in Communications."
Descriptive term, often used pejoratively, indicating that a person is overly intellectual, obsessive, or socially impaired, while tending to conduct characteristic activities like computing and science
According to Online Etymology Dictionary, the word is an alteration of the 1940s term "nert " (meaning "stupid or crazy person"), which is in itself an alteration of "nut" (nutcase).[8]
How to Spot a Sociopath in 3 Steps
Bill Eddy LCSW, JD
SOCIOPATHY
It helps to know some of the warning signs of sociopaths.
KEY POINTS
The driving force for sociopaths is to dominate others. They do this for the feeling of power and control.
Because sociopaths lack a conscience, they are willing to do anything to get what they want.
To assess whether someone might be a sociopath, use The WEB Method, which refers to: their words, your emotions, and their behavior.
Whether you’re trying to spot a potential school shooter, a dangerous romantic partner, a total liar at work, a scammer on the internet, or someone pushing a bogus business deal on you, it helps to know some of the warning signs for sociopaths. As I explained in Part 1 of this two-part series, sociopaths can have some hidden and dangerous personality features.
The DSM-5 lists 10 criteria for diagnosing antisocial personality disorder1 (ASPD), but it assumes you have professional training and a lot of information about the individuals. I’m not going to teach you how to diagnose an ASPD or to distinguish them from a sociopath (or psychopath, or con artist).
This post focuses on a few of the hints that they may give you at your first or first few encounters. These hints may help you choose to keep your distance despite how appealing they may seem on the surface. Don't be a target.
The Theme of Dominance
The DSM-5 states that the essential feature is their willingness to “disregard [or violate] the rights of others.” From my experience in over 30 years dealing with legal cases, family conflicts, workplace disputes, and other situations as a high-conflict consultant, I would say that the driving force with sociopaths (and they have lots of energy) is to dominate others. This may or may not involve breaking the law. They want to dominate people in order to get things from them, such as their possessions, money, sex, business partners, homes, cars, investments, reputation, and so forth. But they also like dominating others just for the feeling of it—the feeling of power and control. Sociopaths lack a conscience, so they will do anything to get what they want.
The three-step method I recommend using to quickly size up whether someone has sociopathic traits (or any high-conflict personality pattern) is what I call The WEB Method®: Their WORDS, your EMOTIONS, and their BEHAVIOR (which involves actions 90% of people would never do). The following are several hints you may pick up from someone by using this method.
Their Words
Sociopaths are fast talkers. Their words are mostly, if not entirely false. But they use many, many words designed to cover their behavior. They may be a completely different person from who they say that they are. Watch out for extremes—big promises; big stories, about the past or the future; and big plans, with no basis for them or no experience at whatever they’re planning.
Extremely positive words. You’re the best! I can’t live without you! I will never hurt you! You deserve better! You make me a better person! We’ll be rich! You’re the most beautiful [smart, persuasive, honest, ethical, spiritual, etc.] person I ever met! I’ll take you around the world! I’ll introduce you to some really famous people! Believe me!
Extremely negative words. On the other hand, their words can be extremely negative, often after they’ve known you a little bit. They will blame you (their Target of Blame) for minor or non-existent offenses: You lied to me! (Even though you didn’t and they lie constantly to you.) I can never trust you again! No one will ever hire you! No one will ever want you! I own you! I will destroy you! Don’t tell anyone what we’re doing, or I’ll have to hurt you! You deserve to be punished after what you did! You owe me this! I have never hurt you, but look at what you’ve done to me!
THE BASICS
The switcheroo. A sociopath will often switch back and forth between extreme charm and extreme threats to get what they want, depending on what they see is or isn’t working at the time. Watch out for strong opinions, which they then drop to adopt the opposite point of view when it’s convenient. They will use whatever words they perceive as helping them dominate the situation at the moment, like an artist’s palette of colors.
They also will figure out your weak spots and vulnerabilities. They may play on them positively, with words to boost your ego: You will be incredibly successful. With my connections and your brains, we’ve got it made. Or they may play on your deepest fears: See, your body really isn’t attractive at all. No one will ever want to be intimate with you. Or no one will ever hire you. I’m the best you’ll ever get. You better be grateful. Very grateful.
Your Emotions
How do you feel around the person? It’s often your emotions that first tell you to beware because your brain wants to believe them. Many people marry sociopaths, or hire them, do business deals with them, or elect them to responsible positions, even though they saw some warning signs. They wanted to believe the person's words rather than pay attention to how they felt. Trust your feelings more than their words. If you have an uncomfortable or extreme feeling, check it out. Do a little research or ask around about what people think of so-and-so.
Fear. One common fear is that they could hurt you if they wanted to. Sociopaths can be predators, so you may naturally feel uncomfortable being alone with them. You may suddenly get the feeling that you want to get out of a situation. Go, and ask questions later. Don’t let them talk you out of your fears. Take your time and get more background information about them.
Infatuation. This is the other extreme. Because of their many extremely positive words, people can fall in love with them—especially if they are lonely, grieving or have low self-esteem at the time. (For more, see my book Dating Radar, co-authored by Megan Hunter.) This also goes for hiring. In today’s fast-paced and competitive business world, sociopaths can make themselves look like a superstar. If you feel swept off your feet by a potential business partner, employee or employer, you may be falling for a sociopath. Since they are everywhere, you have to maintain a healthy skepticism no matter where you are.
Extreme sympathy. If you find yourself feeling extremely sympathetic toward someone, you may want to check out why. Sociopaths are skilled at claiming they have been victims and tell good stories to go with it. They often take advantage of people in vulnerable or sympathetic situations (the elderly, victims of natural disasters, churchgoers, volunteers, etc.). By playing hard on your sympathy, they may be able to get you to do things you wouldn’t ordinarily do for anyone else.
Their Behavior (The 90% Rule)
A surprisingly simple way to spot a sociopath is to stay focused on their behavior and ignore their words. Pay special attention to any extreme behavior—things they do that 90% of people would not. Ask yourself, Would I ever do that? Extreme behavior is common for sociopaths, but they quickly cover it up with excuses: I was tired. I was under a lot of stress. He (or she) made me do it. I had to do it given what the other person did. It almost doesn’t matter what the behavior was; their excuses are often the same. They are always blameless and rarely apologize unless they are caught and it will make them look good.
Targets of blame. As I mentioned in Part 1, many sociopaths end up focused on Targets of Blame—people they feel justified in treating cruelly, whether in their families, at work, or in their communities. They often enjoy the suffering of other people. While they may target anyone, most people will avoid them. The ones they keep targeting or bullying are those who stay engaged with them. Either they get aggressive back with the sociopath (who can do aggressive better than almost anyone else) or they show their fear or frustration. Both approaches are unwise. It’s better to calmly disengage than to show how they affect your emotions. They will enjoy your helpless anger and/or your helpless frustration; it just confirms that they are dominating you.
Smiles, smirks, and laughter. One surprising aspect is to see how they enjoy other people’s pain and hardship. In legal cases, I have seen sociopaths smile, smirk, or outright laugh when a victim tells their story in a deposition or in open court. It gets your attention, because, again, 90% of people would never do that. They would know better and feel some empathy for the victim. If you see someone smiling, smirking, or laughing out loud as they watch another’s pain on TV, in a movie, or on the street at an accident, you may be watching a sociopath who can’t help himself or herself.
Childhood behavior history. One of the DSM-5 criteria for antisocial (sociopathic) personality disorder is that the person has signs of the disorder by age 15. This could include behaviors such as torturing or killing small animals or pets, stealing from family and strangers, fire-starting, or a serious pattern of lying. This is surprisingly common for sociopaths, so they may try to hide such a history or give excuses. The Parkland school shooter in Florida apparently had a history of harming animals. Many people knew about that but perhaps didn't realize the potential it indicated.
This is a very brief look at some of the hints that you may be dealing with a sociopath. The WEB Method® is one way to organize your thinking about people you meet and consider dating, hiring, electing, or otherwise getting involved with. It takes practice, but it’s designed to make it simple to avoid being a target, especially when quick decisions are necessary or you are under stress. 65
Did you know that at the last census (July 2022) there were 7,330,605 people in Canada that were at least 65 years old? I suspect that number has gone up a bit since then but let's use those numbers as a basis for this blog. That equates to roughly 18% of the total population or in other words we are everywhere! I say 'we' because in case you live in a vacuum and don't know I am one of them.
Everyone I went to school with (Proof I was not held back at all) have eclipsed that mark along with most of my first cousins. Those that haven't yet can see it on the closing horizon. Given the large amount of us you would think we would be a bigger target for advertisers but they seem to think we only are interested in a couple of things: medication, Depends, getting a reverse mortgage so someone else owns our homes, dentures, and medication. (wait a minute. Did I mention that one twice? Oh well. I will get some Lethicin after I am finished.)
There is a downside to having an aging population like the following:
What would our army look like if we were attacked. Timmy's would be well defended but the rest of us would make slow moving easy targets for the enemy.
Speed limits would be reduced to 40 on the highways.
Overcrowding in the malls before they open.
Chinese buffets would lose money because we all get a discount and love to go there.
But let's get back to the marketing. There is a whole world out there that should be targeting us for our money. Scammers have caught on to this so legitimate businesses should as well. And here is a hint: do not market us through apps. To me an app is something to eat before supper and should cost about $6. Here are some thoughts:
Seniors dating. More money needs to go into this. I might start a service called Last Chance. My slogan: put a few new wrinkles in your life.
Restaurants that open for evening business at 5:00 are turning away almost 20% of potential customers. Open at 3:30 and promise people they will be home before "Wheel" comes on TV.
Condoms for seniors. We usually don't need them but it is nice to have something to put into your wallet. They can be made cheaply because our boys can't swim too far anymore.
Produce walkers, canes and wheelchairs with built in tasers. This will provide us with hours of fun.
Pants with a lot of room from the crotch to the belt loops so that we can pull them as high as we want without hurting ourselves.
Women's pants with built in soft pockets at the waist so they can tuck their bosoms into them comfortably.
New TV technology so that when we yell at the newscasters they can hear us. Would love it to also be for game shows but I know those things are taped.
Speaking of Game shows why not one geared towards seniors since we are the ones doing most of the watching? (Don't believe me? Watch any episode of Wheel and hear the contestants say how they always watched with their grandparents, never their parents) Call it Remember This? Could be items, people, whatever. Winner gets discount coupons for groceries and restaurants or a free change of will when someone pisses them off.
THOUGHT OF THE WEEK: They say that age is just a number. Try to ignore the fact it is a big number.

On the other hand, Chul-kyu appears to be targeting Lim-sun as his next victim. Our article, “Miss Night And Day (K-Drama): Episodes 7 & 8 Review” contains major spoilers.
Need to catch up? Check out: Ep 3 & 4 Highlights and Review
Highlights Of Episode 7
After witnessing the online game scammer’s girlfriend attempting to drug Ji-ung, Mi-jin saves him by stopping him from drinking the beer.
We see Ji-ung and Byung-duk arrest the scammer and his girlfriend with the help of Mi-jin.
After Ji-ung overhears Mi-jin ranting about his ungrateful behavior, the two make amends and clear up their misunderstandings.
After some investigation, Ji-ung discovers that the club delivered drugs in the form of alcohol. This resulted in clients being molested.
Consequently, Ji-ung starts following the drug trail in search of the supplier.
Ko-won grows increasingly suspicious of Lim-sun. Consequently, he follows her to a gaming café and discovers Mi-jin with her backpack and keychain instead.
When Mi-jin notices a car following her, she contacts Ji-ung. However, the car stops following her at this point.
Lim-sun goes to an office party and gets drunk. Following that, she calls Ji-ung from Mi-jin’s phone number.
Ko-won steps in to help Lim-sun leave before she transforms into Mi-jin, implying that he knows the truth.
Ji-ung tracks and finds Mi-jin as she transforms from Lim-sun to Mi-jin, finding her hugging Ko-won.
Highlights Of Episode 8
When Mi-jin faints after her transformation, Ko-won and Ji-ung rush her to the hospital.
We learn that Mi-jin fainted after accidentally drinking Ko-won’s drink, which contained his anxiety medication.
Mi-jin confronts Ko-won about knowing her secret, and he promises to keep it to himself.
Lim-sun notices a young woman protesting her missing father outside the prosecution office. When she approaches the woman, it connects to Ji-ung’s missing person’s investigation.
At this point, several hints point to the serial murderer being Baek Chul-kyu.
Ko-won offers Lim-sun three million dollars for the favor coupon she received from the Chief Prosecutor. He uses this to become the prosecutor’s assistant, keeping an eye on and protecting Lim-sun (Mi-jin).
Lim-sun and former detective Mal-tae conclude that the missing victims had been collecting money prior to their disappearance.
Mi-jin goes to Ji-ung’s house and attempts to steal his missing person’s report. However, the two of them have a heartfelt conversation, and Mi-jin kisses Ji-ung.
Miss Night And Day (K-Drama): Episodes 7 & 8 Review
Positives
The K-Drama has consistently excelled in terms of humour, and episodes 7 & 8 of Miss Night and Day are no exception. The antics of Mi-jin when she transforms into Lim-sun truly makes you laugh, whether she breaks into a dance or simply is out of place. Additionally, the bit where Mi-jin was ranting about Ji-ung while he was standing behind her was simply hilarious, contributing to the comedic value of the show.
The show’s romantic storyline, which includes Ji-ung and Mi-jin, is also quite charming. It’s particularly heartwarming to see how Mi-jin’s family treats Ji-ung, especially given that he never received love and tenderness from his parents.
Credits: Netflix
Negatives
While episodes 7 and 8 of Miss Night and Day excel at comedy and romance, the crime and supernatural storylines take a back seat. We predicted that the show’s attempt to juggle too many genres would result in it failing to do justice to some of them, and this is exactly what has happened. There seems to be so much going on in the K-drama that you’re not really interested in the serial killer storyline, despite the fact that the show focuses on it a lot.
Furthermore, Miss Night and Day appears to completely ignore the supernatural element, treating Mi-jin’s transformation as normal at this point. Why aren’t Mi-jin and Ga-young working harder to locate the mysterious cat? How did Ko-won accept Mi-jin’s strange transformation so easily? At the moment, the show appears to be lacking in this department. We hope it makes up for it in the upcoming episodes.
Miss Night And Day: Our Verdict
Overall, episodes 7 and 8 of Miss Night and Day provided plenty of amusing and heartwarming moments to keep us entertained and content. The K-Drama, however, does not appear to be doing justice to its crime and supernatural storylines. We hope that things improve in the upcoming episodes as the K-Drama does seem to have a lot of potential.

you mean she was climbing with him and trolling from the fake account, giving hints that she is in his presence and call him etc / I mean, it could be one of the many delusional people who claim to have something with him using other people's photographs, or is it a delusional person who has contact with him by phoneyou can see the video 1
2 Last year, someone came on here saying that Jared had a "girl group" on Snapchat. The interesting thing here is that she shared both photos if he shared them directly with her and that she also shared that video. We know what Jared is like when he has a thing with people, controls what gets shared and what doesn't, and hides women who have a thing with him.
3 That movement is something rare and clearly has a purpose. if that woman has something to do with Jared and she's not a troll like the scammer jo, then they did it for a reason

Guys seriously it doesn't matter!
I'm not interested in reading about some looneybin eche.

🌹 for both izzy and hepsi :3c
Welllll, Hepsi was definitely the one causing every bit of forward momentum in the ambiguous platonic/romantic stage with Morgan, but the fact that they flirt easily until she steps juuuuust outside of the line of plausible deniability then immediately sidestep really messes with her. Hepsi's pretty unashamedly a social engineer and a scammer, and maybe *overly* prides herself on being able to pick up subtle signals, and the fact that she also would not directly address the fact that Morgan was very hot and cold with her (because she needed their help much more than she needed to kiss them, and because it's embarrassing! She's past her prime and charm alone will only get her so far now!) both caused a lot of unnecessary angst for each of them and allowed them the time to build a deeper relationship and understanding.
Once they actually *talk* about it, they work it out relatively quickly, but also they both needed like 3 years to get to that place, so if Hepsi had just been like "do you or do you not want to sleep together?" the second or third time Morgan demurred when she hinted that they could share a bed, they probably would have gotten incredibly flustered and ashamed, and self-consciously make sure that they never came off as flirting ever again.
(Also, disclaimer against willful misunderstanding: this is a fictional relationship so 3 years of push-pull are more fun to write about than live though irl, but also there's a lot of genuine emotional trauma in the mix and even though they have chemistry, it's not exactly stable chemistry until other circumstances have changed in their lives.)
...
As for Izzy, she's also the person who makes the first moves in her relationship, but she's incredibly matter of fact and says the quiet part out loud, and Percy appreciates that (and also takes it to heart the times she says that he's hurt her feelings, and changes his behavior accordingly). They both kind of feel like they've cheated the incredibly confusing social systems around them by just. Saying what they mean. And not assuming malice from the other person.
