Armand said that French was his forth and worse language. So I'm assuming he spoke Hindi, Italian and English, too.
Do you think that he still remembers Hindi, at least as well as he used to? It just seems to me that Armand couldn't even keep his own language. Marius "educated him" with Italian & English (I mean the dude whitewashed him in his paintings, I doubt he let him have any connections with his country), then he had to learn French and speak only French (&latin maybe for rituals?), then they just had to speak English for "inclusivity" and modernising the Coven.
So does he remember his native tongue? does he want to remember?

(Unexpected) Meeting Angalaparameshwari!
Tumblr media
Don't Worry! I am not changing this blog to a Hindu/Eastern focused blog! LOL
Had to get that out of the way lol, but yeah in amazing turn of events and if people know from my old posts that I do/did work with ganesha on multiple occasions in the past. I mean I currently have a permanent place for Ganesha beside in a separate altar to my other atlars. A dream of Ganesha lead to me finding a south indian guy on marketplace who was offering his Home Mandir/Puja altar for sale and I decided hmm that might be a good thing to buy! When I went there I was mind-blown by the energy of the house and the house's altar I felt drawn to it! I was even grateful to be allowed to take picture of that house altar and meet the kula devata/ancestral tutelary deva of that family, Angalaparameshwari. The whole interaction felt orchestrated and I didn't expect the gods would play hands into leading me to find this person, find Angala devi and seeing her, getting that shelf, and I couldn't put my finger on it except that Ganesha definitely pulled some strings to make this happen! I don't know the ramifications of this blessed meeting but I feel like there's an aspect of work where even the gods help us when we offer them the respect and place in our life for them and not treat them like tulpas or imaginary friends. I am still mind blown and grateful for this sudden random event I was thrust into and of the vision of the goddess.
Tumblr media
I acquired the small altar shelf and was overall grateful for the darshan of Angala Devi! I didn't figure out how to properly use it until I use it as my jesus altar! I don't know if this is cultural appropriation but I found the altar to be in the perfect spot and it just "clicked" in spot with all other altars I have! I am definitely grateful for this incidents!
Who has a Curved Trunk, Large Body, and Who has the Brilliance of a Million Suns, O Lord, Please make all my Works, free of Obstacles, always.

The Month of Shravan and its Significance
Today is Shravana Krishna Ashtami, the eleventh day of Shravana masam (month). The month of Shravan is the fourth month in the Hindu calendar and falls in the western months of August and September. This month has a lot of spiritual significance and is considered auspicious for Hindus for many reasons.
Samudra Manthan
According to the Puranas (holy texts), it was during this month that the Devathas (Gods) and Asuras (demons) churned the ocean in search of amrit (nectar). Although the churning of the ocean gave them the amrit, it also gave them poison. Because the Devathas did not know what to do with the poison, they went to Lord Shiva for help. Lor Shiva swallowed the poison and stored it in his throat which for which he got the name, Neelkant (blue throat). This is why Shravana masam is important for the devotees of Lord Shiva.
Sola Somvaar Vrat
The Sola Somvaar Vrat is another reason why Shravana masam is important for the devotees of Lord Shiva. Those who want to do the Sola Somvaar Vrat (16 Mondays) usually start on the first Monday of Shravana masam and complete it on the last Monday Karthika masam. This vrat is mostly observed by unmarried women who want to be married to the man of their dreams. But married women can observe this vrat, too, for better health or fulfilment of their wishes. For this vrat, women fast all morning and afternoon and break it in the evening after doing pooja for Lord Shiva.
Mangala Gauri
The Mangala Gauri Vratham (pooja) is performed by married women for health, prosperity, and the long life of their husband. It is also performed for a happy married life. This vratham is only performed in Shravana masam on Tuesdays. After the pooja, a minimum of 5 married women are invited home for Haldi and Kumkum. The traditions for this pooja vary based on each family.
Varalakshmi Vratham
In South India, Varalakshmi Vratham (pooja) is performed by married women on the Friday before Poornima (full moon). Vara Maha Lakshmi or Varalakshmi is the Goddess of wealth and prosperity. Women perform this pooja every year for the blessings of the Goddess on them, their husband, and children.
Raksha Bandhan
Raksha Bandhan is day that is celebrated all across India to honor the pure bond between brother and sister. On the day of Raksha Bandhan, the sister ties a rakhi on her brother’s wrist, the brother presents her with a gift, and they both promise to protect each other no matter what the circumstances.
Krishna Janmashtami
Shravana Krishna Ashtami, according to the Puranas, is the day Lord Krishna was born. Other names for this day are Krishnashtami, Krishna Janmashtami, or Janmashtami. On this day, Hindu families decorate their home with rangoli and make food the Lord Krishna likes.

Sindoor Khela, Varanasi, India
Prashant Dubey wrote : Sindoor khela is a ritual followed by Bengali women, which involves the application of vermilion powder or sindoor on the idols of Goddess Durga and amongst married women during the conclusion of Durga Puja on Vijaya Dashami. Married Bengali Hindu women apply sindur on the forehead and feet of the goddess and offer sweets to her. Then they put sindur on each other's faces. Sindoor Khela is regarded as one of the most important rituals of Vijayadashami...

deep deep hater of any "im an atheist i do not conform to any social dogma about religion" especially when its from some "skeptic" of a particular religious establishment. i dont suck the dick of any church but like... if your whole identity as an atheist is based on that you hate whatever religion you grew up (usually a branch of christianity) the social norms and establishment of this religion have affected you, congrats.

The Symbolic Meaning of the Primordial Sound, “Om”
“OM” Have you ever seen the symbol in this image? Of course, you have, but do you know what it means? Vikaara nirbharamaaya oru Koodipiriyal koodi... #trichambaramtemple #festival #trichambaramulsavam The annual 14-day festival in the famous Trichambaram Temple is noted for Thidambu Nritham(a sort of dance with the dieties of Krishna & Balrama). The utsavam begins on the 22nd day of Kumbha Masam with the ceremonial flag hoisting (kodiyettam) and comes to end with Koodipirial ritual on 6th day Meena masam (20-03-2023) The main event during the festival revolves around the arrival of Balarama from Mazhoor Temple on the Flag hoisting day of the festival and finally his departure. On the first day, the image of Lord Balarama (elder brother of Bhagavan Krishna) is brought to the temple in a grand procession from nearby Dharmakulam temple. The festivals days are marked by the performance of the religious dance, Thidambu nritham, in front of Pookoth Nada in the temple. On the thirteenth day of annual festival, Pallivetta (holy hunt ceremony) takes place and the next day the ceremonial bath (aarattu) takes place. Finally, the heart touching 'Koodi Piriyal' ceremony (March 20, 2023) happens, which represents the parting💔 of the brothers Lord Krishna and Balarama. Peruvazhiyil Nritham a religious dance takes place during the time of parting of the brothers. Krishna seems reluctant to leave his Brother and at this moment a jar of milk is brought forward and upon seeing the overflowing milk Krishna follows the Gopala and the Mazhoor people escorts Balrama back to his Temple. It's a heart touching scene, everyone cries, even the Nature (there would be a slight drizzle as the nature too cries seeing the parting of the Brothers). . . . #trichambaram #taliparamba #festivalseason #hindu #krishna #balarama #brother #bonding #brotherhood #brotherlove #dance #celebration #customs #rituals #kannur #kannurdiaries #canon #canon6d #canonphotography #canon6dphotos #canon6dphotography #arjunrkrishnaphotography . . . @trichambaramambalam @trichambaram_varthaakal @trichambara_kaaran @trichysaathana @chanjutrichambaram @magic_anil @tricha.m @trichambaram_ups @byju_trichambaram @nikhil_nambiar_ @soorya_suvarnan @rashu_razak @g.p_ikaa @im___sonya_g_h @dhe_moongoddess @dr_nijisha_k (at Trichambaram Sreekrishna Temple) https://www.instagram.com/p/CqBBC80PHGe/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
