Science-types Fell in Love, So they Tried Being Alone

There's not an AO3 Fandom for this yet and I am dying inside because of this. There's also a complete lack of fanart and the manga isn't fully translated yet.

God these two just make me so happy and giddy and shit.

So anyway, here's some ramblings with fluff. Takes place in S2E3 when Himuro gets a cold. This has not been proofread yet. Sounds like a later me thing.

A click was heard as front door closed behind Kanade. Himuro pulled back the comforter that covered her, revealing Yukimura still curled between her legs. "You can come out now, she's gone. I don't think she suspected anything." The man sat up, revealing his disheveled appearance and blushing face. He briefly looked up, taken aback by how striking Himuro looked from his position. Her nightdress had ridden up to barely cover the top of her thighs, and the red tinge across her cheeks only seemed to accentuate her beauty. She leaned forward and tugged his face back towards her. "Yukimura, what's wrong?"

She was far too close, and thoughts rushed through his head as he tried to convince himself that he was not having any lewd ideas. He heard his name again and moved to back away, nearly falling off the bed. "I'm fine! It's nothing. Absolutely nothing." He groaned and covered his face to avoid meeting her gaze. "I should really head back to the lab since Kanade brought you food. I'll see you when you feel better."

"Please stay." Himuro was so quite that he almost didn't hear her. "Could you just lay here with me? I promise I won't keep you long."

"Close contact in your current state runs the risk of me catching your cold." As long as he refrained from looking at Himuro, Yukimura was sure that he could maintain his composure. "Besides, I would only serve as a distraction from you getting the rest you need."

He heard a choked sob and finally looked back to Himuro. "Why are you so insistent on making me deal with this alone? I don't feel good and I want you to hold me. Is that too much to ask? If you're worried about getting sick, then you've already put yourself at risk by coming here. You may add well stay at this point." Tears welled up in her eyes like earlier, but she still managed to keep them from spilling over. "Please."

He ran a hand through his hair and gritted his teeth. "Fine, but no more than ten minutes."

"That's not nearly long enough! I propose an hour."

"Thirty minutes."

"Two hours."

"That's not how-" Yukimura was cut off as he was yanked down to the bed.

Himuro pressed her chest against his and buried her face in his neck. "New proposal: you stay here until I say otherwise."

He laid there for a moment, stunned by what just happened. Her body pressed against his caused the man's mind to race with images of her under him and her nightdress discarded somewhere out of sight. Yukimura's arms wrapped around Himuro and pulled her tighter against him. He hoped that this would keep her from looking up and seeing his indecent thoughts. Lips pressed against his neck and he instinctively tightened his grip, "Himuro, what are you doing?"

"Do you want me to stop?" Himuro pulled back and looked up at Yukimura. "I won't do anything you're uncomfortable with."

"No, that's not what I'm worried about." He wanted to push her down and do so much more than kissing, but knew that this was not the time. His throat felt tight as he fumbled around his words, "I just figured you'd want to take a nap since you're sick. I don't want to do anything that will prolong your recovery."

Himuro let out a light chuckle. "It's just a cold. I doubt there is much we could do that would significantly increase the time it takes for me to feel better." She started to pull on his tie and undo the knot around his neck. "If you're so insistent that all we do is lay here, then you should at least try to make yourself comfortable. I can't think of anyone that would want to sleep with something wrapped around their throat."

This was the start of her undressing him, it had to be. And if that was the case, it was only a matter of time before she shed her own clothing. Yukimura knew he needed to find a way to stop her without upsetting her before she took this too far and regretted it. He placed a hand over the two of hers that still worked at his tie, pausing her movements as she returned her gaze to his. His hand moved to brush a strand of hair from her face and lingered on her cheek, "You need to quit fussing over me. I'm here for you right now, not the other way around." He pressed a long kiss to her forehead before pulling her back to him. "Rest, and we can do more when you feel better."

Yukimura's fingers lightly brushed through Himuro's long, silky hair as they lay there. "Can I at least get a goodnight kiss?"

He scoffed, "Was me kissing your forehead not enough?" He felt Himuro shake her head against him. "Fine, but just one." She pulled back and he felt his heart pound in his chest from how beautiful she looked. He reassured himself that it would be just one kiss and he would not be taking advantage of her. He slowly closed the distance between them and kissed her, taking in her sweet smell and reveling in how she felt against him.

Before he could pull away, he felt Himuro tangle her fingers through his hair to keep him in place. Her mouth pressed harder against his own, and whatever stipulations he had previously given were forgotten. Yukimura lightly bit down on her bottom lip before sliding his tongue into her mouth. Their tongues tangled together and they tried to push their bodies closer than they already were. Himuro's leg wrapped around his waist and she ground her hips against his own.

Yukimura rolled them over so Himuro laid below, her legs on either side of him. His hands wandered over her thighs as he desperately kissed her again. Her skin was so soft and warm against his own, and he searched for ways to make more contact. His kisses trailed down her jaw and neck to the top of her nightdress, and he quickly undid the top button before kissing the newly exposed skin. He licked at the soft skin of her breasts and felt her shiver below him at the sensation.

Shifting back to rest his forehead against Himuro's, Yukimura quickly realized their position. He laid between Himuro's legs and had slowly been pushing up and unbuttoning her dress. He concluded that it was best for them to cease their actions now, lest they doing anything that may lead to regret. "Himuro, look at me." She hummed in acknowledgement and looked up through hooded eyes. "We need to stop before it's too late."

Himuro frowned and turned her head away. "Are you saying you don't want me?"

"The exact opposite." He sat up more and took her flustered look and exposed skin, desperately wanting to see what he had imagined come to fruition. "I want to do so much with you, but now is not the time. We should at least wait until we've proven that we love eachother."

"You're lying," Himuro said flatly.

"Everything we just did proves that I'm not." He groaned at the tightness in his pants, wishing he could take her then and there. "I know you felt how much I want you. But please, just agree to wait until our love is proven. I don't want you to regret anything."

The woman below him threw her head back and groaned. "Fine, but you still need to hold me." Yukimura moved to lay beside Himuro but was stopped, "Go turn off the light first."

He sighed as he rose from the bed and flipped the light switch opposite of them. He climbed back into the bed to have Himuro's back facing him, and he was unsure of where to put his hands. She reached behind, grabbing his left arm and pulling it around her waist. "I told you to hold me and I meant it."

Yukimura pulled her back closer to him and brought the comforter up to cover them. "I know. Will this suffice?" He heard a quiet yes and tightened his arm around her. "Good."

They laid in silence until he heard the deep breathing that indicated Himuro was asleep. He tried remove his glasses to set off to the side, but realized that his arm was in a vice grip that he presently would not be able to escape without waking the sleeping woman before him. In an attempt to protect the glasses, he angled his head upwards and tried to make himself comfortable in that position. He accepted the mild discomfort he would have to deal with and managed to eventually drift off as well.

10. How important is the sexual part (if any) of your ship?

Honestly, not important at all ^v^)b Sure, I enjoy including my charas enjoying some sexyfuntimes, BUT I would be just as happy if all they did was snuggle on the couch with some hot chocolate <3 Not saying there’s anything wrong with pure smut bc there’s not! I enjoy that too! But there’s a reason why so much of my own n/s/f/w content always has a heavy dose of either comedy or pure character interactions, to the point where the erotic part (if any; debatable LMAO) is just the icing ^ ^;

11. Opinion on platonic ships?

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM, JUST as much as my romantic ships, to the point where it’s actually really hard for me to enjoy (or at least create) for romantic ships unless there’s some good platonic shipping to balance it out?? Like for Future!Verse, obviously the relationship between all the husbands are more or less platonic, but so many different kinds between the lot of them! The same with my current main fandom, Banana Fish. I may prefer romantic shipping with Eiji, but I ADORE the relationships between Ash & Shorter, Shorter & Sing, Sing & Ash, Ash & Blanca, Sing & Yut-Lung, Blanca & Sing, etc. etc. etc.

Platonic love is every much as important and powerful as romantic love!!!

Gossip Girl PARTY

The first character I first fell in love with: Alex Hansen

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Izaac Martin

The character everyone else loves that I don’t: Marc Jones. Marc is your quintessential nice/ good time flirt. Not really my type, no matter how nice he is. I can just see the baggage.

The character I love that everyone else hates: I think people sometimes have a love/hate relationship with Izaac, especially with the way he treated the MC, but you have to look beyond that.

The character I used to love but don’t any longer: Fred Carter - his route’s ending was really weak. He had so much potential for angst and regret. I really need to get to writing that. So much to write, so little time.

The character I would totally smooch: Izaac because if you take him by surprise, I’m sure you can get him to blush.

The character I’d want to be like: The MC. She knows what she wants in life and isn’t quite sure how to get there, but she still goes for it. In the end, she doesn’t stop following her dreams even for love.

The character I’d slap:  Kyle Hughes. The MC actually does slap him at one point. He’s still a brat, love him or hate him. 

A pairing that I love: MC x Jacob. Then maybe Fred would’ve seen what he’d lost just to put someone on a pedestal.

A pairing that I despise: Fred x Rita. She blew him off for years on end and friendzoned him to no tomorrow. Now she’s rebounding, and he’s okay with that? Fred, you really sell yourself short.

Samurai Love Ballad PARTY

The first character I first fell in love with: Oda Nobunaga

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Tokugawa Ieyasu. If you’re my friend, you know I have a problem

The character everyone else loves that I don’t: Hanbei. He just didn’t make that strong of an impression on me. I prefer Kansuke.

The character I love that everyone else hates: Ieyasu. I think people either love him or hate him. Many are offput by the beginning of his route, but if you really look at the source of his pain: being a hostage, shut in dark places, the bullying. I just want to hold him and make it all better. He’s a prime example of why bullying is a vicious cycle. He was tormented as a child and now that he has power and position, he turns the same thing onto others.

The character I used to love but don’t any longer: I think my love has been pretty steadfast, but Masamune’s events are slipping. 

The character I would totally smooch: Yukimura, just to see him blush and stammer

The character I’d want to be like: Shingen, he holds true and fast to his dream no matter what condition his body is in or the weight of the hopes and dreams of his retainers.

The character I’d slap: Kenshin. This man is too mopey. I think it might bring him back to reality since normally no one would slap someone as pretty/sparkly (I really think in the MC’s eyes he sparkles).

A pairing that I love: Nobunaga and his MC. Also Saizo and his. Both pairs seem made for each other.

A pairing that I despise: Fuma’s obsession with Saizo. Stop being a creeper

    Synopsis:
