⚠️ REPLICA WARNING ⚠️
Just a heads up to our overseas readers that Shein just put up a huge amount of replicas from japanese indie brands producing girly fashion. For years now, local brands have been struggling to make ends meet and closed many of their stores (ex: Ank Rouge). Of course, there are many people who can't afford brand releases as they come out, as brand names are typically expensive, but there are other options, such as buying secondhand or supporting smaller creators.
The low prices make it easy to forget that corporations like Shein are a major contributor to low wages and by buying from them you help increasing the demand for underpaid workers, hurting people just like you. Also, due to the poor quality that does not last, you will have to keep buying new clothes over and over again, which not only does hurt your wallet in the long run but also the enviroment, better save up a little for a quality piece than wasting it. There's also the concern that it has been proven that their products contain various toxic substances, such as high concentrations of lead and softeners. Mass-producing clothing in this dangerous and unsustainable manner directly affects worldwide wages, and is responsible for local businesses and creators closing their stores. Please do not support Shein and other companies similar to it that mass-produce low-quality knockoffs, as it is harmful to you, the environment, and puts money directly into the pockets of those who wish to exploit underpaid workers and artists.
It seems like most are being posted as ROMWE, and Honey Cinnamon, Liz Lisa, and MA*RS have had the most of their designs taken, but they're not the only girly brand replicas SHEIN is making. Please be careful and look out for replicas!

For the past few days, a heatwave has glowered over the Pacific Northwest, forcing temperatures in the region to a record-breaking 118ºF. Few people in the region—neither Americans nor Canadians—have air-conditioning. Stores sold out of new AC units in hours as a panicked public sought a reasonable solution to the emergency. Unfortunately, air-conditioning is part of what’s causing the unusual heatwave in the first place.
We came close to destroying all life on Earth during the Cold War, with the threat of nuclear annihilation. But we may have come even closer during the cooling war, when the rising number of Americans with air conditioners—and a refrigerant industry that fought regulation—nearly obliterated the ozone layer. We avoided that environmental catastrophe, but the fundamental problem of air conditioning has never really been resolved.
Mechanical cooling appeared in the early 1900s not for comfort but for business. In manufacturing, the regulation of temperature—“process cooling”—controlled the quality of commodities like cotton, tobacco, and chewing gum. In 1903, Alfred Wolff installed the first cooling system for people at the New York Stock Exchange because comfortable traders yielded considerably higher stock returns. Only in the ’20s did “commercial cooling” appear. On Memorial Day weekend 1925, Willis Carrier debuted the first centrifugal air-conditioning system at the Rivoli Theater in Midtown Manhattan. Previously, theaters had shut down in the summer. With air-conditioning, the Rivoli became “the talk of Broadway” and inaugurated the summer blockbuster.
-another direct tie to capitalism. Everything born out of colonio-capitalism carries its toxic mark. Article totally not under the cut for those who can’t pay for Time. It honestly paints a really clear picture of the situation. Bolding mine.-
“It’s time we become more comfortable with discomfort. Our survival may depend on it.“
Before World War II, almost no one had air-conditioning at home. Besides being financially impractical and culturally odd, it was also dangerous. Chemical refrigerants like sulfur dioxide and methyl chloride filled most fridges and coolers, and leaks could kill a child, poison a hospital floor, even blow up a basement. Everything changed with the invention of Freon in 1928. Non-toxic and non-explosive, Freon was hailed as a “miracle.” It made the modernist skyscraper—with its sealed windows and heat-absorbing materials—possible. It made living in the desert possible. The small, winter resort of Phoenix, Arizona, became a year-round attraction. Architecture could now ignore the local climate. Anywhere could be 65ºF with 55% humidity. Cheap materials made boxy, suburban tract housing affordable to most Americans, but the sealed-up, stifling design of these homes required air-conditioning to keep the heat at bay. Quickly, air-conditioning transitioned from a luxury to a necessity. By 1980, more than half of all U.S. homes were air-conditioned. And despite millions of Black Americans fleeing the violence of Jim Crow, the South saw greater in-migration than out-migration for the first time—a direct result of AC. The American car was similarly transformed. In 1955, only 10 percent of American cars had air-conditioning. Thirty years later, it came standard.
The cooling boom also altered the way we work. Now, Americans could work anywhere at any hour of the day. Early ads for air-conditioning promised not health or comfort but productivity. The workday could proceed no matter the season or the climate. Even in the home, A/C brought comfort as a means to rest up before the next work day.
The use of air-conditioning was as symbolic as it was material. It conveyed class status. Who did and didn’t have air-conditioning often fell starkly along the color line, too, especially in the South. It conquered the weather and, with it, the need to sweat or squirm or lie down in the summer swelter. In that sense, air-conditioning allowed Americans to transcend their physical bodies, that long-sought fantasy of the Puritan settlers: to be in the world but not of it. Miracle, indeed.
But it came with a price. As it turned out, Freon isn’t exactly non-toxic. Freon is a chlorofluorocarbon (CFC), which depletes the ozone layer and also acts as a global warming gas. By 1974, the industrialized world was churning out CFCs, chemicals that had never appeared on the planet in any significant quantities, at a rate of one million metric tons a year—the equivalent mass of more than 500,000 cars. That was the year atmospheric chemists Sherry Rowland and Mario Molina first hypothesized that the chlorine molecules in CFCs might be destroying ozone in the stratosphere by bonding to free oxygen atoms and disrupting the atmosphere’s delicate chemistry. By then, CFCs were used not only as refrigerants but also as spray can propellants, manufacturing degreasers, and foam-blowing agents.
The ozone layer absorbs the worst of the sun’s ultraviolet radiation. Without stratospheric ozone, life as we know it is impossible. A 1 percent decline in the ozone layer’s thickness results in thousands of new cases of skin cancer. Greater depletion would lead to crop failures, the collapse of oceanic food systems, and, eventually, the destruction of all life on Earth.
In the 1980s, geophysicist Joseph Farman confirmed the Rowland-Molina hypothesis when he detected a near-absence of ozone over Antarctica—the “Ozone Hole.” A fierce battle ensued among industry, scientists, environmentalists, and politicians, but in 1987 the U.S signed the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, which ended Freon production.
The Montreal Protocol remains the world’s only successful international environmental treaty with legally binding emissions targets. Annual conferences to re-assess the goals of the treaty make it a living document, which is revised in light of up-to-date scientific data. For instance, the Montreal Protocol set out only to slow production of CFCs, but, by 1997, industrialized countries had stopped production entirely, far sooner than was thought possible. The world was saved through global cooperation.
The trouble is that the refrigerants replacing CFCs, hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), turned out to be terrible for the planet, too. While they have an ozone-depleting potential of zero, they are potent greenhouse gases. They absorb infrared radiation from the sun and Earth and block heat that normally escapes into outer space. Carbon dioxide and methane do this too, but HFCs trap heat at rates thousands of times higher. Although the number of refrigerant molecules in the atmosphere is far fewer than those of other greenhouse gases, their destructive force, molecule for molecule, is far greater.
In three decades, the production of HFCs grew exponentially. Today, HFCs provide the cooling power to almost any air conditioner in the home, in the office, in the supermarket, or in the car. They cool vaccines, blood for transfusions, and temperature-sensitive medications, as well as the data processors and computer servers that make up the internet—everything from the cloud to blockchains. In 2019, annual global warming emissions from HFCs were the equivalent of 175 million metric tons of carbon dioxide.
In May, the EPA signaled it will begin phasing down HFCs and replacing them with more climate-friendly alternatives. Experts agree that a swift end to HFCs could prevent as much as 0.5ºC of warming over the next century—a third of the way to the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.
Yet regardless of the refrigerant used, cooling still requires energy. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, air-conditioning accounts for nearly a fifth of annual U.S. residential electricity use. This is more energy for cooling overall and per capita than in any other nation. Most Americans consider the cost of energy only in terms of their electricity bills. But it’s also costing us the planet. Joe Biden’s announcement to shift toward a renewable energy infrastructure obscures the uncertainty of whether that infrastructure could meet Americans’ outrageously high energy demand—much of it for cooling that doesn’t save lives. Renewable energy infrastructure can take us only so far. The rest of the work is cultural. From Freon to HFCs, we keep replacing chemical refrigerants without taking a hard look at why we’re cooling in the first place.
Comfort cooling began not as a survival strategy but as a business venture. It still carries all those symbolic meanings, though its currency now works globally, cleaving the world into civilized cooling and barbaric heat. Despite what we assume, as a means of weathering a heat wave, individual air-conditioning is terribly ineffective. It works only for those who can afford it. But even then, their use in urban areas only makes the surrounding micro-climate hotter, sometimes by a factor of 10ºF, actively threatening the lives of those who don’t have access to cooling. (The sociologist Eric Klinenberg has brilliantly studied how, in a 1995 Chicago heat wave, about twice as many people died than in a comparable heat wave forty years earlier due to the city’s neglect of certain neighborhoods and social infrastructure.) Ironically, research suggests that exposure to constant air-conditioning can prevent our bodies from acclimatizing to hot weather, so those who subject themselves to “thermal monotony” are, in the end, making themselves more vulnerable to heat-related illness.
And, of course, air-conditioning only works when you have the electricity to power it. During heatwaves, when air-conditioning is needed most, blackouts are frequent. On Sunday, with afternoon temperatures reaching 112ºF around Portland, the power grid failed for more than 6,300 residences under control by Portland General Electrics.
The troubled history of air-conditioning suggests not that we chuck it entirely but that we focus on public cooling, on public comfort, rather than individual cooling, on individual comfort. Ensuring that the most vulnerable among the planet’s human inhabitants can keep cool through better access to public cooling centers, shade-giving trees, safe green spaces, water infrastructure to cool, and smart design will not only enrich our cities overall, it will lower the temperature for everyone. It’s far more efficient this way.
To do so, we’ll have to re-orient ourselves to the meaning of air-conditioning. And to comfort. Privatized air-conditioning survived the ozone crisis, but its power to separate—by class, by race, by nation, by ability—has survived, too. Comfort for some comes at the expense of the life on this planet.
It’s time we become more comfortable with discomfort. Our survival may depend on it.

Omg that incel idia brat tamer 😳 it made me think if he found out innocent, naive mc was crossdressing in a boys academy and he blackmails them to fuck him but then mc goes “pls don’t! I’m a virgin 🥺” and little do they know that’s the worst thing they could say because now he HAS to take their virginity, like incel idia thinks he found a SSR card and he’s not about to throw it away lol he’s just so lucky that he found innocent mc before any of those nrc boys could corrupt them and now he can turn them into the perfect waifu :)
Also, thoughts on incel azul finding virgin mc and auctioning off their virginity? Would he go for the money or would he decide to keep it for himself? Tough choices, he better figure it out before floyd finds out because Floyd would def ruin his plot haha
( sorry if this has already been asked before, I couldn’t find anything similar on your blog)
(cw: yandere, nsfw, unhealthy behaviors/relationship, incel behaviors, captivity)
Idia really was blessed with this godly luck to have you, the cutest virgin kitty, all to himself. You and your virginity are indeed SSR-tier. And after he’s molded you into his obedient waifu who only ever thinks of him, he’ll get to break you in until your hole welcomes his dick with ease. But the tight fit is what makes you so irresistible!
Azul would absolutely auction your virginity off. He’ll have one or both of the twins spread your pretty, little hole so that everyone in the audience can see how it barely stretches, still tight as a virgin. You’re dressed in the skimpiest outfit ever, courtesy of Azul’s tastes, though the twins definitely influenced his decisions. You’ll be blindfolded and bound in the prettiest of ways (it’s more art than anything), vision obscured with cloth that’s nearly silken in quality and your restraints are shackles in the design of twisted corals.
Incel Azul doesn’t really see you as a person. You’re more of an object in his eyes. A thing to own. A toy to be used. Something that will inevitably be his. He might have one of the twins bid against the others in the audience solely for the sake of raising the price far past what the normal student can afford until it’s really just rich kid versus rich kid. The twins can afford any price because their family is rich beyond anyone’s wildest dreams, so prices mean nothing to them. Floyd bids haphazardly; he has way too much fun cutting other bidders off with insanely high prices. It’s Jade who’s more meticulous. He’ll wait for the right moments to bring out crazy numbers, smiling covertly when the audience tries and fails to hide both their surprise and contempt.
It really feels like a bunch of animals competing to get out of the slaughterhouse, what with how tense everything is. Fights are forbidden, but it’s so obvious that so many students are ready to have the others’ throats for raising the price.
The twin bidding against the others will win no matter what, and per the contract Azul gets to have you first. Afterwards, the twins are free to take you in whatever form they wish. You become the trio’s personal stress relief, and you’re kept in Azul’s VIP room, where they use you whenever they feel like (which is quite often, nearly every day). Azul’s stare is never sincere, though it might be during sex (it’s hard to tell with someone so deceptive). It’s always so lecherous. His eyes practically stick to you like barnacles on a whale’s back. You feel so gross and dehumanized when the trio refer to you in the most sexual of ways, whether jokingly or cruelly. Floyd calls you a cumdump and Jade’s quietly echoed this sentiment. He’s strange because some days he really does act like a gentleman when he cleans you and bandages any deep bites left by Floyd, but just as kind as he is he’s ten times more wicked.

Heya! I hope you are well. I was wondering if you could inform me on what you meant when you said that MGA (Founder of Bratz, LOL Surprise, Rainbow High, etc) treated Hayden Williams badly. For reference it was in a post about how MGA stole a black creators look for a doll. I'm just wanting to know what happened because I'm trying to dig on the internet to find something about that and it's like hiding from me lol. Thank you for your time.
Hi! What a lot of people don't know is that toy companies give doll designers a set of parametres to work with: It's a set of catalogues:
what fabrics/trims/accessories/paint/molds/finishings/hair/hairstyles are available
at what cost
& how much total costs they're allowed per doll.
So a budget cook barbie is not going to get an apron, a belt or buttons: it'll be printed on to her dress, she won't get real denim, just printed thin fabric. A headband will be plastic not elasticated fabric. Hems cost extra, an opening handbag costs extra. A designer picks and chooses what priorities they want for their doll: you can have a shawl or the more complex earrings but not both.
Some doll designers come up with an initial drawing but then rework that based on what's available and within budget. Some work from available fabric swatches and a set amount of extras to create the doll's drawing. MGA is notorious for putting out dolls with box art that's the prototype not the actual doll that made it to production.
Here's Bratz Kina's prototype vs the Kina doll that got produced:
The socks and arm warmers are gone, the top and skirt are a pink dress in one colour, the hair fibre has changed, no face jewel or handbags, the ribbon trims are gone. Those extras cost too much.
Doll design is a specific job, you're working at 1/6th of human scale so you can't use human sized fabrics or expect them to drape like it would on a human body.
Here's is barbie wearing iconic designer dresses translated to plastic and printed fabrics by doll designers: https://www.glamour.com/gallery/designer-barbies-limited-edition-fashion-barbies
You'll notice that The Blonde's chain corset is now just a static plastic gold painted piece instead of chains because even though Barbie can easily find and afford small chains: assembling them on a small corset would be too expensive.
Here is barbie dressed directly by human designers: https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toy-shop
https://hauteliving.com/2015/08/see-it-13-fashion-designers-give-barbie-a-haute-makeover/581969/
Hayden Williams was told his digital drawings would be translated to dolls without being told the limitations he should abide by. For example: he drew a Yasmin with matching socks and shoes except this time they couldn't do boots or find socks to match the shoes so they flocked some shoes and gave her some different velvet socks.
When the complaints hit, Bratz didn't explain that they'd messed up by not giving Williams a price and materials guide and then they had reworked his designs into what worked best for their budget. He was left to field angry customers like every choice was his, the dolls had his name on them after all! Quality control was terrible and many corners were cut on quality to fit the budget: what they should have done is seen the initial designs and said 'Oh woops! We can't make these at an affordable price, let's hook you up with our materials catalogue and give you a fixed amount of itemized costs per doll" or they could have teamed him with a seasoned doll designer who'd be able to say: "well you can have pink shiny boots at our budget or we need to come up with a new shoe design". look at those tiny eyelets and tiny lace on the dolls: those have to be custom ordered/installed. Same with the Boyz blue shirt print: that's custom fabric. Each adds up.
It's a special skillset and MGAe leaped to make a promise they couldn't possibly fulfill then left a clothes designer to deal with the fallout.

the thing about AI art is that there are no specific artistic qualities that are inherent to AI art as distinct from human artists. The particular distinctive foibles of the current models will certainly be fixed in tomorrow’s models, and tomorrow will come sooner than anyone is comfortable with. There are already models that are able to iterate on previous output with specific tweaks, so the idea that “prompt crafting” is a discipline that will be especially significant for long into the future (or that “prompts” will be at all human-readable for much longer) is i think basically ridiculous.
The only discourse about AI art that i think will survive the extremely immediate future is the discourse about professional commercial artists and the automation of the technical labor of working artists. Any discussion about how AI art is aesthetically inferior or how the models are practically inferior to commissioning work from human artists is I think going to seem extremely silly within a couple years
And what is to be said about the prospects of professional artists in the context of high quality prompt to image models? A huge amount of extremely undervalued work goes into relatively menial artistic production; graphic design and corporate illustration are about to become extremely rarified jobs that humans can only do if they are simultaneously very talented and able to afford working for basically free. Freelance artists working for commission will be the option of last resort for art commissioners, and have to compete with whatever the best free AI is at the time in both price and quality. But this is not a great difference from the current situation! Professional artists who actually live off their art without substantial pre-existing wealth are hard to find already, and freelance art is notoriously a last resort for people who find themselves scraping for money with few other options. The precarity and disposability of artistic workers is being heightened by the emergence of AI art, but it didn’t start there

Crumplebottom's Interiors Interviews: Etienne Toussaint
Today I had the honor to meet and interview Etienne Toussaint, the reclusive designer and maker of the Etienne Bench and Etienne’s Love…seat. While he maybe an introvert in the very public sphere of design, I wanted to hear about his inspiration behind his work and why he wants design to be affordable. We met at the Windenburg establishment, South Square Coffee, where he spends most of his free time after working in his Windenburg studio. The interview has been lightly edited for clarity and conciseness.
Francis DeWolf: So hello, Etienne. It is finally nice to meet you in person. Can you tell me a little about your background and training?
Etienne Toussaint: Thank you for reaching out. My background is in traditional studio painting. I attended the University of Britechester as a studio art major and focused on sculpture. Brad Connelly was still teaching there and actively saw that I had more of a talent for furniture and practical pieces after seeing my work in my junior year. He helped focus me to get a job with Martell as a junior designer in their plastics lab.
FDW: Why plastics?
ET: I was still very much working with plastics coming out of university, so it wasn’t until I realized that plastics were very much more impactful on the environment than wood, fabric, and metal materials. Of course, the production of all furniture is hard on the environment, and I thought that moving away from plastics was one way to do so. Of course, now that I mostly work with fabric and wood, that plastics-based fabrics are still a thing and still cheaper than using, say, cotton or wool.
FDW: Yes, I know that with the emergence with softer polyesters, it is cheaper to use those materials. As we have seen, you have made it a priority to make your work affordable to more people, but you still work with cotton velvets and other natural fibers, tell me, why cost is so important to you?
ET: I was thinking of my own childhood and how it was hard for my parents to afford to buy new and buy a quality piece of furniture. They often replaced pieces from thrift shops when the furniture would break. I went to Britechester on a full-ride scholarship and felt that I wanted to give my parents the chance to own new furniture, that wasn’t just the standard old-fashion stuff.
FDW: So is that where the emphasis on new and experimental forms you are known for came from?
ET: Yes, I feel like everyone should have a quality piece of furniture that they can use at a good price. Obviously, not everyone has the experimental taste that I have. But honestly, I do want folks that like high-end design to get their hands on it.
FDW: I want to shift gears a little and ask why the seemingly reclusive life and unwillingness to really be in, maybe not the public eye, but at least feel more private and pseudonymous when you have these goals of affordability?
ET: I want the work to stand on its own rather, than standing the design and “glory” when it upstages the furniture. Too many designers seem to be more about attaching their name to pieces then pieces standing the test of visibility in the home.
FDW: So, is that why you live here in Windenburg versus say San Myshuno?
ET: I just prefer the quietness of Windenburg and lower cost to have a big studio to work in. I am still very much working as an artist. Having the Casbah Gallery representing my work, is how I got involved with their affordable design initiatives.
FDW: Are you still doing sculpture?
ET: Yes, I am very much a maker of things, then say a painting or other 2D art. Making things with my hands is just very calming and takes me back when my dad would often build things for my mom. He came from a long line of craftsmen and today I honor that tradition.
FDW: One last question, what’s next?
ET: I have some new metal works coming in the next couple of months or so, so be sure to be on the lookout for those. I decided to move to metal for this project, as I got some shipping container scrap metal that builds out my work. ¥

Thought I’d review an old classic today, the Tomoe Ouvert Wire Bra by Bordelle.
This remains one of my all time favourite pieces to wear out. The design looks stunning from all sides and avoids being too dated or cliched by alternating the width of its dramatic straps. It’s very easy to match with a variety of black satin or mesh bottoms. My favourite way to style the piece is to wear it on top of a different set, like Agent Provocateur’s Leisa. Because the Bordelle is so adjustable, it’s not uncomfortable to wear the double wires.
The piece stands out with its 24 karat gold-plated sliders and high quality elastics. I’ve worn this piece for years now and the elastics have not noticeably weakened. The fabric is very comfortable and the construction is sturdy. Obviously, with an open cup and sliders on every strap, this bra is also completely customizable for a perfect fit. I took size S.
I purchased this bra at full retail price from Secrets from Your Sister many years ago. I’ve long since forgotten how much I paid for it, but at the time, I am pretty sure it was around CA$200 which is a fair bit more affordable than their other bras and a good “entry level” piece if you’re interested in the brand. It currently retails on the Bordelle site for £142.50.
Fabrics: elastics: 89% polyamide, 11% elastane; mesh: 82% polyamide, 18% elastane.

Ultrafine ruthenium nanocrystals as an alternative to platinum for a pH-universal hydrogen evolution reaction
Currently, electrocatalytic water splitting is one of the most inexpensive, clean, reliable, quiet and affordable industrial-grade efficient hydrogen (H2) production technologies. However, the most effective platinum (Pt) based catalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) are subject to high price and unsatisfactory stability. Therefore, low cost, high efficiency and high stability HER electrocatalysts are urgently needed to replace Pt based electrocatalysts.
Taking full account of the promising activity, robustness and reasonable price of ruthenium and the high surface area and excellent conductivity of graphene-based advanced carriers, Ru-carbon nanocomposites can be a feasible option for HER. However, it is still a challenge to further improve the catalytic performance of Ru-carbon nanocomposites.
Recently, a research team led by Prof. Yu Chen from Shaanxi Normal University, China designed a high-quality N-doped graphene aerogel supporting Ru nanocrystal (Ru-NCs/N-GA) nanocomposites. The reaction precursors of graphene oxide (GO) and ruthenium(III)-polyallylamine (RuIII-PAA) complex uniformly anchored in a graphene aerogel serve as the N source and Ru source.

oh sweet, baby angel scent oracle of the world... you have made me addicted to Bubble Bath by Replica. and, as you know, Coffee Shop by Replica is the love of my life. i desperately am in need of dupes because i simply cannot afford the real thing. hast du Vorschläge?
I am the wrong girl to ask about dupes because once I have a particular fragrance in mind, I will settle for no substitutes. Dupes will get you close, but not all the way. They’re able to have low prices because they typically do not spring for the high quality fragrance oils that niche and designer houses use. As a result they often come off as more alcohol-y synthetic-y and the fragrance doesn’t last as long. I’m talking specifically about brands like Alt, Dossier, Oakcha, and Oil Perfumery. Specifically Dupe Companies who make products that mimic popular scents. For me, and my small experience with them, they’ve never been worth the price. I get them and I hate them so I never use it and I’m out $20-$50 on a fragrance that I’ll never use, when instead I could’ve just put that money towards getting a bottle of something I know I’m in love with.
And I understand that not everyone sees money the way I do and I respect that but take for example “suds”, Alt Fragrances impression of Bubble Bath. 2oz for $45. Pretty good deal.
On the other side of that we have Bubble Bath by Margiela. 3.4 oz for $99 on sale at fragranceX.com yes it’s more expensive. About 2x more expensive. BUT you get 1.4 more ounces and greater quality. It lasts longer, annnd it IS the scent. It’s the specific scent that you love!
I do understand that you don’t have the funds for your faves, and that is why I don’t want to see you wasting $45 on “suds”.
Trust me 100000% it’s better to spend $30 on the Coffee Break or Bubble Bath travel spray! They will last you a lot longer than you think, especially if you apply to hydrated skin.
ALTERNATIVELY, and don’t tell Sephora I told you this, but you can also do what my mother does and get one of these babies from Amazon for like $12
And pump that thing up with the display perfume. The employees may or may not say something. That’s why this method heavily depends on your level of bold-ness. My mother is the bravest woman I know. Godspeed.

The Ultimate Guide To Choosing The Best Garage Door Opener For Your Home
All garage door opener can open and close your garage door, but not all openers are made equally. When it comes to strength, efficiency, silent operation, security, cost, and a host of other aspects, some alternatives are superior than others. Take into account each of the following factors when choosing a doors opener:
DRIVE OPTIONS:-
The majority of garage door openers have a similar design. A carriage or trolley is driven along a rail by a motor that they have. When this trolley travels, the garage door is pushed or pulled open since it is fastened to the door. The way the motor drives the trolley is the main distinction between garage door types.
Choices for horsepower:-
There are many possibilities for horsepower as well. The size and weight of your garage door should be taken into account when determining the amount of horsepower you need. The weight might change depending on the material of the door and whether it is a single or double door. For optimum performance, the weight of your door and the horsepower of your opener must coincide.
You should also think about how long you want your opening to last. Some folks opt to purchase a cheaper, lower-horsepower motor and replace it sooner rather than later. Some individuals choose to spend more money on a motor that has a larger horsepower and will operate reliably for many years. Depending on the type of investment you want to make.
AC Versus DC Power:-
You must also choose whether you want an AC-powered or DC-powered opener. Both have the same purpose, which is to convert energy into motion, but they go about it in different ways.
TECHNOLOGY OF ROLLING CODE:-
Rolling code technology is something to think about if you're looking for more safety and security. Previously, it was feasible for a neighbour to share your garage door code exactly. Each time you use a garage door with rolling code technology today, a fresh and secure code is generated from among the billions of possibilities.
SIZE:-
7-foot high garage doors are the norm. Garage door are made to suit 7-foot garage doors due to this typical height. Before you make a final decision, be sure you are aware of the fees associated with customising a certain doors choice if your door size is out of the ordinary.
PRICE AND BRAND:-
How much you can afford to spend on a new garage door opener is something only you know. Prior to beginning, choose your spending limit and adhere to it. It's fantastic if you have allegiance to a particular brand that you have previously used. Make sure you go with a reputable brand that has a track record of providing the quality and longevity you need in a garage openers.
Conclusion:-
The design of your home might also influence the garage door off track you choose to purchase. For instance, are your living room or bedroom and garage adjacent? If so, you might prefer your opener to run as quietly as possible, in which case a belt-drive garage door opener is the best choice.

To Promote Hatred of Women, Millionaire Bond Commissioners Threaten to Drown New Orleans
The people of Louisiana shouldn’t have to live at the mercy of the banks or depend on the corrupt Bond Commission to guarantee that we have life-saving infrastructure like power plants that prevent the flooding of our towns and cities. Our protection from climate disasters or access to housing, childcare, and healthcare—including abortions—should not be decided by 14 greedy, rich white men.It is a criminal abuse of power that the Bond Commission is attempting to sabotage the construction of critical infrastructure just to advance the pro-death agenda of Landry and his fellow millionaires. The Bond Commission has no authority to punish New Orleans for fighting to get a pledge that abortions will not be criminally prosecuted.
Instead of deciding whether to fund a project based on need and fiscal feasibility, the Bond Commission is being used as yet another weapon of the rich against the working class of Louisiana. The gangster-like threat to drown New Orleanians reveals yet again that the sole mission of Landry, Nungusser, Schroder, Ardoin, Dardenne, Edwards, Schexnayder, and the other commissioners is to enrich themselves no matter the costs to the people.
Yet again the right of the people of Louisiana to decide the economic and personal terms of their lives has been completely highjacked by a handful of rich, white politicians on behalf of the corporations and PACs who pay to put them in office. The hateful assault on abortion access, the opposition to a living wage and to heat protections for workers, rent control, Medicaid, food security, and sick pay are all part of the same plan to enhance the profits of corporations and ultra-rich individuals.
Jeff Landry and his far-right millionaire cronies celebrate their hunt while the people suffered after Hurricane Ida.
While Jeff Landry is the poster boy for the far right, whipping up white supremacist violence and speaking at and supporting openly Nazi sites and conferences, the entire board of the Bond Commission participates in this scheme to oppress and deprive the people of Louisiana. Their hideous campaigns to attack LGBTQ people and immigrants are designed to keep the state poor and divided while they host galas and luncheons in their fortified mansions, golf clubs, and hunting lodges.
We see the world differently than the rich bribe-takers on the Bond Commission. Where they see dollar signs, we see thousands living under blue tarps, thousands being bled dry by high gas prices and insurance premiums, thousands of seniors with no safe evacuation plans. We see mass incarceration, eviction waves, rampant environmental racism, and the highest maternal death rate in the country. These are the hardships we experience day to day.
The Bond Commission doesn’t use its decision-making power to withhold funds for projects that don’t pay a living wage. They don’t use their power to force chemical corporations to stop creating Cancer Alleys or to guarantee that oil and gas workers get good jobs in environmentally clean industries. They could require that only affordable housing be built or that quality schools be given priority funding.
The Bond Commission has only used its power to withhold funds when it came time to defend the profits of the gun industries or the climate-destroying oil and gas companies who fund their campaigns. They use their power to bully parishes who make even the slightest moves to protect the lives of pregnant people or transition away from the use of fossil fuels.
We see through the hatred and the lies promoted by the likes of Landry and all the other corporate bootlickers on the Bond commission. While they bully and peddle hate, we are organizing to win decent and dignified lives. The power of Louisiana’s workers is infinitely greater than their little dictatorship of the rich and we will show this in action.

The doll I had made of Kokichi arrived! I'm so pleased with him! 💜✨️💜
He actually got here a few days ago, but I only recently got around to taking a nice picture of him, haha
The design was made entirely by me, the doll was made by an online service called plushygift!
They were really kind and helpful during his creation and I recommend checking them out if you're looking for high quality dolls for a relatively affordable price!

I wasn't able to finish the old catalogue in Splatoon 3 and missed out on the Kensa glassless glasses, which I would really like. I cannot order them from another player because I never unlocked them. Does anyone know how I can get them now? Real answers only please.
I am referring to the glasses that this character is wearing.

Opening commissions
Prices under the cut
(feel free to skip my little rant)
So apparently our dog has cancer now. And she could get a surgery that would save her but my parents refuse to pay for it because iT’s JuST An AniMAL. So I’m going to do it myself. But as a student I can’t afford it and I’m afraid that even with the summer job I already have I won’t be able to make enough in time. And I don’t want to just ask people to give me money.
So PLEASE, I understand that not everyone can/wants to pay me for something, so please share this, that way maybe someone who will be interested in commissioning me will see this.
Here are some examples of how I draw
More details and prices under the cut
Digital drawing
I’m most comfortable with this sketchy kind of style, but I can do clean or lineless too. Also if you’d like me to draw it in a certain existing style I can do that too, the extra 5 bucks is there because I have to learn the style first. Oh I can also do character design.
Comics
Plus a few extra bucks if you want me to be the one to make the story too. If you only want me to put your already existing story into comic panels, you only pay what’s above.
Traditional drawing
Mostly with linework but I can do lineless here too. Also I’m from central Europe, so if you’d like me to send you the actual piece of paper the shipping might be a little pricey. If you’re okay with not receiving it like that I can send you high quality scans and/or photos (much better quality than these don’t worry).
Animation
Right now I can only do 2D, both hand drawn and tweened. I can also do these moving pictures (also both lineless and lined), those can also have some fancy effects like particles and such. The pricing is a little tricky on this one, depending on how long and complex it would be, but I’d imagine the price would start at about 35$ for a basic loop without coloring (not nearly as long as the example above).
Photo and video editing
I don’t have any examples to put in here :( but i can do the basic video editing, (cutting stuff to make you look like a pro youtuber, putting a picture/another video/a gif over your video/photo, blurring/pixelating something out, adding sounds/music, keying and all that jazz) plus I can also do some more fancy effects in adobe ae. Also I have some basic photoshop skills, I’m no professional but I can do the basics like erasing pimples or such. Or making/editing gifs. Idk how much to charge for this :( I guess it depends on what exactly it’d be? We can talk about it
Also I’d just like you to know that I am in fact kinda desperate right now so I will also draw things I am not comfortable drawing, NSFW and whatever weird fetish you might have included, as long as you pay for it. Also don’t worry, I won’t judge you. I just want to save my dog.
If you’re interested dm me here or if you don’t want me to know your tumblr you can also dm me on instagram (@quitthisshitt)
The money will most likely go through paypal and I’ll start working on the commission as soon as I get them (or if it’s one of those more expensive ones and you want to make sure I won’t ghost you after receiving the money, you can send me half of the price first, I’ll send you the sketch/animatic so you can rest assured, then you send the rest and I finish it.
