Escher's mesmerizing creations are a guiding light in my exploration of "Hidden Architectural Space." As I embark on the realm of fantastical structures and impossible spaces, Escher's ability to blur the boundaries between reality and imagination inspires my journey.

One of Escher's iconic lithographs, "Hand with Reflecting Sphere," created in 1935, serves as an exemplar of his exceptional artistic prowess. Within this intricate masterpiece, we encounter a bearded figure holding aloft a metallic sphere, reflecting not only his hand and physique but also the surrounding room. So I’m always gonna day that #mothernature is the best designer. #flashbackfriday to one of my favorite trips of all time to @biltmoreestate with @sozogurl 💕. We were literally leaving driving out through this beautiful estate when we were given one more adventure. We looked over and saw this random bamboo forest & it looked like you could walk in. So, of course, we stopped and walked in... who could resist!!! It was amazing. This little followed out forgotten section of the world that has prob some utilitarian purpose that seems like a hidden gem just for us. We literally danced and spun around like little kids and forgot where we were & even how old we were. Just totally lost in that perfect moment in that perfect space. Began working on a new character yesterday. Really thrilled to bring back the clown, this time in a new incarnation. I’m not entirely sure what’s drawing me to the clown imagery, I know the tone of what I’m creating is really against the trend. Clowns have become terrifying and horrible, but I am interested in the idea of a clown as a peaceful quiet truth-teller full of charming and harmless mischief. It will be interesting to see where this exploration takes me.
