And why would they think that Hiccup's smashed-up, bashed-up possessions were equipment fit for a King? Of course they wouldn't.

And how could they imagine that the new King of the Wilderwest would be a skinny little thirteen-year-old whose fault this all was in the first place? Again, of course they couldn't, it was the last thing on their minds.
