he shouldn’t care about it because it doesn’t matter, it was so long ago and shouto’s always been marketed as the pro-hero pretty boy—consistently top 3 most handsome, the front cover of magazines, all that.

this is to be expected, it’s what everyone’s been tempted to react like.

but since finding out, he’s been stewing in… in whatever this bubbling, throbbing feeling in his head means. he’s snappier than normal, face scrunched up more than usual.

and every time he sees shouto he wants to strangle the hell out of him.

Might be a hot take as a bkdk and tgck truther here, but I find izuocha endlessly fascinating, beautiful, but also tearfully tragic.

I see their love for each other as something representative of their innocence and naivety when they only knew so little about who they were, and what was to come.

I think the main barrier of their relationship is that its rooted in how they see each other very idealistically, specifically that they're attached to the image of their Best Heroic Selves, and not the deeply selfish, destructive, freaky, and egotistical parts of them. To each other, they need to keep fulfilling that image or else that same person they looked up to would almost die in front of them, and that would be too cruel. Although that hero is still there, that same person they looked up to is not the same now because of...well...everything.

Izuku had barely even talked to girls when he first met her. She was Izuku's first ever real friend (Sorry Kats, everyone and him knows he was terrible), so he saved her in that entrance exam even if it was so dangerous. She gave a new meaning to his derogatory nickname just by being a friend that believed in him. After that, she saved him several more times (Blackwhip and Megaphone are the biggest samples iirc). It makes perfect sense that she is Deku's hero.

Ochako hardly knew what it meant to be a hero when she first got into UA. Just by reaching out to some kid tripping, she made a new friend who would then save her in that exam, then save him again in return. This boy then became someone who was always working so hard to save everyone in trouble, and she realized she wanted to be just like him too. "I want to save people"

But...Deku changes. The weight of One for All is on his shoulders and he needs someone to carry this burden with him. He continues to want to save other people at the expense of himself, still not letting his true selfishness and ego ever show- and it only grows more and more unbearable.

Then...Ochako fell in love with Himiko. Truly, relentlessly, selfishly and devotedly in love with a girl who then dies giving her blood to her- the greatest expression of love Himiko could ever give.

Not that they can't love each other because of this happening (and...so many other things oh god), I'm honestly not sure how to explain it- But them ending up together after losing that innocence and naivety? After Ochako will forever grieve the girl who showed her love in its most beautiful and ugly form? After Izuku changed so fundamentally as a person that the butterflies of a nice girl talking to you doesn't exist anymore? After that simple image of being a hero and being in love has completely changed for them both?

Even so, I believe they still love each other. There is no label I know of that can properly describe them though. They are each other's image of being a hero when it comes to saving people. Aside from Shoto, no one else can grasp the grief of the person you tried to save dying in your hands. They would no doubt try to cope with these losses together, and just try to get better together...but so much has changed. They've changed. The world changed. What are they now? Who are they now?

He of course ask if the pilgrims the saw you and they said no, pigsy teasing that maybe we got Tired of him which in return , he got a bruise shin. Luckily Fruity told him that we just went out and that will be back later, Which successfully calm him down. After a while you came back and he was ready to Interrogate you, when you told him that you had a surprise for him. Wukong was confused when he followed you later that night and saw a....

tea shop with a table outside, you told him that it was something nice to do since he's been moody and stress lately. He did look grumpy but the blush tells you he likes it😉😊

(HIB Wukong) You were gone the whole day, and ask Luier and Pigsy to distract Wukong which you went out with Silly girl. It worked for a bit since Luier's motor mouth was useful for once, but he was quick to notice that you weren't there and neither was silly girl. He would have freaked out, if you came back with Silly girl that Exact Second. He was relieved until you put a blindfold on him and told him that you were going somewhere, which confused him and felt you pulling him along. It was currently around 2:45 or something But he was too anxious to wait. So he left the house and went looking for you, he got to the market and saw you, and is that a CARNIVAL?!🎡

You greeted him and told him that a fair was In town and you wanted to spend the day with him in it. Wukong ran over and quickly hugged you tightly, happy to see you, feeling his heart slow down a bit Upon being in your presence. After that you both went in to have a blast😄🎊🎉

the reason it's a crime that we don't get a percy and grover reunion is that we will never get percy running to grover, tackling him in a hug, and immediately beginning to ramble out apology after apology

and grover thinks it's because he disappeared, and he's all mushy because he has his his best friend whom he loves so much back, but then he starts actually listening as percy apologizes more and more

and percy is just rambling on saying things like "i'm so sorry you had to put up with that, gods how in hades' name did you put up with annabeth and i for four years, i couldn't stand it for a week, they were so oblivious, g-man, i'm going to buy you so many soda cans"

and grover's very confused until percy grabs him and drags him over to introduce him to hazel and frank, and grover takes one look at them and everything makes sense, and he just pats percy on the back because FINALLY someone understands his pain

(and then he actually talks to hazel and frank and they just stare at him because how on earth did he actually manage to keep percy alive for all that time on his own and grover feels even more validated because now he has two more people who understand him)

Villain stopped Hero mid-stride to interrupt their pacing. They took their partner in their arms and gently guided them to the couch to restrain them in a hug. "Anti-Hero is always late. You know them. They'll be home soon." Villain smiled down at Hero sweetly. "And if they aren't, I'll make sure to remind them how to keep track of the time."

Hero sighed, reluctantly relaxing in the hold. "I might want to 'remind' them with you, if you don't mind."

Villain looked down at their partner with a raised brow. "Is that a threat, love? Careful now. That doesn't sound very heroic of you."

"Loving either of you isn't very heroic of me," Hero huffed. "...Do you think they're okay?"

"They better be."

By the time the front door clicked open, all the lights were out. Anti-Hero slipped through the entrance as quietly as possible. Which meant their partners heard every attempted tip-toe as they crept past the living room. A shadow fell over them and they froze.

"Back so early?"

Slowly, Anti-Hero turned to face Villain. "Oh. You're still up? You didn't have to wait for me, darling." They chuckled nervously, fingers twitching for the weapon pouch on their hip. They were tired, but if Villain wanted a fight, they'd at least try their best before giving in.

"Darling," Villain repeated with a thin smile on their lips. "Dinner went cold hours ago."

Anti-Hero tensed as Villain stepped closer, but their partner only laid a gentle hand on their arm. "You're hurt, aren't you? Let's get you cleaned up. Hero already has the first-aid kit ready."

Anti-Hero sighed, shoulders sagging in relief until the grip on their forearm tightened. "But don't think we won't be talking about this." The softness in Villain's tone was anything but kind. "Even my schemes have a curfew on date night."

Anti-Hero swallowed and nodded, feeling numb. They were in for a long and exhausting lesson later.

Spoilers for Chuck Tingle's Bury Your Gays

I can't stop thinking about the bride. The scene with the bride. Spoilers ahead.

These scenes written as scripts itched my brain in a lot of ways. There was something surreal about them, I couldn't figure out if they were telling the future or if they were on another world or if they were Misha trying to puzzle through what was wrong through scripts.

And when I realized what they were like three minutes ago, I realized it was fucking brilliant.

It was a script because it was an AI nanobot of Misha. He was literally moving on a script. Holy shit. Holy shit that was brilliant and such a clever way to explain what was happening without explaining what was happening, I can't believe I missed it at first.

But there is something so haunting about the bride, because she is a horror of, well, straightness. And I feel like there's so many layers to what she says to the guards at Misha's house:

"Lately I've been noticing something strange about the things I do. There's an inertia to it all. Like, I know what's going to happen before it happens, because it's already written."

There's a lot of ways to read that. The obvious: she's literally on a script. But I think, also, The Bride being the one to point that out really speaks to growing up socialized as a woman. So much of life feels plotted out for you, you're expected to start planning your wedding when you're barely old enough to write, kids are given dress up wedding gowns (I had one! It was from a my size barbie). There are so many expectations placed on women, and so many different ways that it feels like you're stuck on a track.

But I am a little haunted by the way I see the scene play out in my head. There's this vicious killing of two guards, this woman in a white short gown with lace sleeves, with a skintight white sequined mask all but glowing in the moonlight. And just utter silence as she lugs away her bodies and unmasks herself and vanishes into the night. This understanding that she maybe didn't necessarily want to do this, as a character. The understanding that, really, she has no wants as an AI monstrosity.

But I can't help but bring myself to have some pity for her. This woman in white who exists in the story for less than ten pages, massacres guards to leave characters I actually care about open for serious harm, and just... leaves, in near silence, passing the plot and moving on. (seriously though i did NOT enjoy when I realized, no, Tara was actually getting hurt I will fight people over Tara for the rest of my life I am love her.)

And I wonder what Misha was thinking when he wrote The Bride. I wonder if the inspiration for her, which had to have been his pressure to be straight, changed over his life. I wonder if being out would make him look back on her and think that it wasn't her fault, like how he told the Smoker it wasn't his fault. I wonder if he would develop more story for her, more reason for her to be the way she is, I wonder what the story for Wedding Night was. I'm imagining him going back and writing a prequel, like X and Pearl where The bride gets a story to be understood.

I am going to be spending so much time thinking about this specific one. Maybe it's because we get so much about Mrs. Why and The Smoker, but I am intrigued by the bride. She terrifies me. I see her moving in a way I can't explain, but I desperately want to.

Nine pages. There's a whole ass novel, but those nine pages. I'm fixated on them. It makes no damn sense.

... Compels me, though.

my friend i have scoured, deep sea dived, deep cleaned, poker all-inned and i have never once in my rdr2 career ever been able to find a positive interaction between them in canon. i didn’t think they even had ANY for the longest time until someone found one and its literally javier threatening kieran … which i would personally not categorize as “domestic bliss”. i think our best bet for canon content is crossing our fingers and praying that the ai for them in camp has them sit next to each other momentarily
