Mmmhhh thinking about Yandere Batfam reacting to a reader who runs a very popular blog where she absolutely bashes Batman and Robins- and the batfam takes your criticism very seriously. Maybe not at first, but then Damian (the easiest to tick) got pissed off when you wrote how "he's just a kid in a cheap Halloween costume" and when Damian gets pissed off, he whines. He whines and whines and whines until Dick and Bruce finally listen to him and do something about it. That's when they find out about the extensive threads about them, criticising meticulously each and every action of theirs, how they're causing more financial harm to Gotham and allowing themselves to be idolised and causing more people to comit crimes just so that they could have their 5 seconds of fame with Batman. And ofc theirs a whole page about the Batsignal.
I mean, Damian and Tim have already found out who runs the page (though they had a little bit of a hard time sniffing u out. You were good at covering your tracks). While Damian and Tim are busy going to "have a talk with you", Bruce is at home reading your entire blog about Batfam and realising how some of your points.... kinda makes sense. So, he buys the app where you write your blogs, then has Damian bring you over to the Wayne offices, where he explains he just wanted to meet the person running the blog that generates the most readers on the app. You, just a 23 year old student who's blogging as a side hustle.
You're obviously stunned because why are you meeting Bruce Wayne and also confused because again, why are you here exactly??? Bruce just says that he likes your insights and would like to know more, and he's happy to pay you by the hour you spend talking to him and also on the blog.
He's very much determined to make Batman and Robins be good in your mind, and not that he cares much about what people think about him, it doesn't hurt to have good PR for heroes, lest people should try revolting against Justice league and only end up hurting themselves. There's only so much he could do to calm his metahuman friends.
You're again- CONFUSED, but you like money. The only thing you tell him is that you get to write whatever you want, complete creative control and that you can write about anyone you wish. Ofc, it doesn't register to Bruce that you could possibly write against his family- against his name.
So in the beginning, things are going great. Reader continues making calculated judgements and comments about Batfam and how they could possibly improve themselves, the batfam takes note and tries to do most of the things. Then you'd write something that could almost be seen as praise for "changing their old ways" and they all feel a little bit proud. They don't realise it but some members of the batfam (like damian and Dick) start craving your approval of their actions.
Perhaps something happens, maybe you don't find it fun to write about the bats anymore, so you shift your mind towards a new topic-
The Wayne's.
You research a bit, finding it a little odd at Bruve Wayne's generosity to be adopting random ass kids, a super duper clean record, no scandals or anything- it just- it doesn't feel right. No one's that clean. They have to be hiding something.
So when u can't find anything against them, you let your imagination go wild and start making conspiracy theories, kinda feel like reader goes in her gossip girl era to stir things up so that someone would come forward with something- anything.
Bruce's eyes almost bulge out as he reads the blog's headline-
"The secrets of Gotham's favourite billionaire playboy!"
Shit- did you figure out he's batman?
Nope. In fact, you covered everything but that. From theories about him adopting troubled kids for PR, to the Wayne family actually being a chauvinist cult, to conspiracies about his ties with the Rothschild, his philanthropic donations being a front for illegal activity, the Wayne Manor holding lavish nsfw parties, and even a classic "they drink virgin maiden blood!"
Bruce stood in your apartment, eyes narrowing at your sleeping form on the couch.
"Bruce? What- how did you get in?" You don't remember unlocking your door.
"What is the meaning of this?" He pulled up your article on his phone.
"Huh?" You took a closer look, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes. "Oh. Yeah, I wrote that."
"Why?"
You shrugged. "I was bored."
"What?" Bruce could feel himself getting angry. How could you be so nonchalant about the lies you wrote?
"You know this isn't true." "I do." "Then why did you write it?" "I told you, I was bored. Besides, you told me I could write about anyone." You get up with a sigh. "I don't get why you're so worried about this. Barely anyone reads this stuff."
Bruce's brows went up. "There's a 1000 plus views on this already!"
"What?" your eyes twinkled. "A thousand already? Its not even been 24 hours since I posted. Wow, people really do enjoy conspiracy-" you shut up when you saw his glare. "Right, sorry."
"Take it down, now." Bruce orders, brow twitching when you just walk past him and into the kitchen, pouring yourself some coffee. "Why?" you asks after taking a sip.
He glares at you. "Because it isnt true-"
"Then give me something that is."
Bruce stared at you. Is this... is this your way of wanting an interview?
You sighed. "Look, just let me interview you family, I promise to only write the truth and only the truth. No conspiracies, I swear."
"Or I could just fire you. Better yet, have you sued for defamation."
You nodded. "You could, but honestly that would only bring more attention to the articles and more conspiracies would arise. Besides, you and I both know you cant stop me from writing even if I'm in jail."
Bruce watched you walk upto him, holding your phone in your hand. "Come on, just one week- one week at your place, I'll even let you read the article before I post it. If you dont like it, I'll delete it."
I mean... it did sound like a pretty good bargain. Besides, at his home, youd be in a more supervised space.
So here you are, standing in the lobby of the Wayne manor as a posh butler leads you to Bruce's office. Of course Alfred will be a part of your articles. He's too fancy to not be.
And so over the course of a week, you dont really find anything particularly intriguing about the family, even after you interviewed each member. You're mentally groaning at the thought of writing yet another boring article... that is until you accidentally discover the batcave (ok not accidentally, u hid a recorder in Bruce's office and u heard the man discussing about it with Dick)
Anyways, it didnt take long for you to discover the cave, and it took you even less for you to write a scandalous article.
"RICH MAN COSPLAYS AND PRACTICES HIS JUJUTSU SKILLS ON THE MENTALLY ILL! SEE PICTURES OF WHERE HE ROLEPLAYS IN MASKS!"
Unfortunately, before you hit "post", your phone is snatched and you're knocked out.
When you come to, Bruce is sitting in front of you looking beyond pissed while you're tied up in your seat.
"We had a deal, Y/n." Bruce gritted out.
"So? Deal was off the moment I found out you were Batman." You shrugged.
"We had a deal-"
"You really expect me to just pretend like I'm blind after I found out who you really are? Do you think anyone would just give up on a scoop this big?" You tilt your head at him.
Bruce narrowed his eyes at you. "Scoop? Thats what this is to you?"
You nodded. "Sure, you're a hero who fights crime and brings "peace" to Gotham, but who knows for sure? After all, thats how you want the world to see you." You lean as far as your restraints allow you. "I dont trust you, Bruce. Not one bit. There's just- this gut feeling about you. Nothing personal, but I dont get good vibes from you."
"Is that so?" Bruce raised his brow before sighing. "I guess there's no reason to let you go then."
"What?"
He nodded to himself. "Yes, if I let you go now, you'll only cause more trouble for me, but also for yourself. If you post content like that, people will target you- yes, I definitely cant let you go. You're an impulsive idiot who'd endanger herself just to not be bored."
Your eyes widen. "You cant kill me."
Bruce scoffed. "Dont be ridiculous, I can, but I wont. I just want to take care of you, protect you from yourself." He stood up. "I did a little bit of research on you too, yknow? You keep your personal life super private, I have to give credit to you, it wasnt easy to find out about your family. But... money makes the mare go."
Your throat dried as you saw a glint in his eyes. He knew... he couldnt-
Bruce's footsteps echoed as he neared you and ruffled your hair. "Poor you... having to deal with a schizoprenic mom." He leaned down to smile gently at you, but you could sense the sinister intent.
"Dont worry, she'll be taken care of at Gotham Asylum while you stay with us."
girl idk where i was going with this, i just needed to get it out of my drafts (i have another long incomplete draft about platonic yandere dick x gymnast reader where he basically is intrigued by this mini tonya harding who lives for her dead beat father's approval who doesnt give a shit about her unless she comes first. so its upto dick to adopt u and make u a part of batfam)

hey! can you do headcanons on Bakugou and Izuku (separate) with a reader who's quiet and doesn't talk much but is Hella strong. How would they react to it? If you do thanks sm! it's really sweet of you!!!! :)

“SO SWEET, WITH A MEAN STREAK.”
KATSUKI BAKUGOU/IZUKU MIDORIYA x reader.
summary: your quiet strength intrigues these two boys, how would they react to you before/in a relationship?
warnings: none!!
a/n: this is such a cute ask!! i hope this is to your liking and if it isn’t and you think something is missing, let me know! this is also quiet short because i have a fever 😔
—
KATSUKI BAKUGOU —
before dating:
i can imagine him being a little skeptical of you, but so intrigued!
he’d definitely want to see how far your strength could go. so, bakugou would subtly challenge you during training sessions, pushing you to see your true capabilities.
he’d nevee admit it but he looks up to you in a way. you don’t boast and scream about your strength like he does - that makes him respect you. he would start to see your quiet nature as a sign of focus and determination rather than a sign of weakness.
he’s so competitive… it’s honestly a little scary. before you two were even close to being friends or anything more, he’d definitely get a competitive drive when it comes to you.
this idiot would definitely think he’s competing with you 24/7 even though you remind him you are not. he thinks doing this will make you become more outgoing and competitive.
“HA! i finished my bowl of ramen before you, loser, i won!”
“we were competing over that?” i’d be confused if i were you too… he’s a little slow but he’s got the spirit!
dating him:
once you two start dating, bakugou becomes fiercely protective of you, admiring your strength and determination even more. he thinks his role in the relationship is to protect you from anything that might make you lose your strength!
he’s so loud (we know that obviously) but with you, he’s loud in a supportive way. he’s now boasting about you and your strength instead of his own!
he encourages you to continue improving and growing, offering both praise and constructive criticism. even if you don’t need it, he’ll keep doing it anyway.
bakugo has never felt like he had a opponent that could really give him a run for his money, until you two train together.
training with him would be so so sweet. if he hit you too hard, he’d immediately worried if you didn’t tell him you were alright. (he won’t outwardly admit he’s worried about you but you know deep down he is!)
“are you bleeding? you shithead! i’m not worried... are youbleedingthoughbecauseifyouarethat’snotgood-”
“fuck, did i burn you? don’t start. i’m not worried about you at all, tch!” he says this as the tip of his ears are burning from lying…
he’d still work hard while training with you but still making sure he isn’t doing too much during simple sparring matches. he likes to learn from your strengths and weaknesses!
everyday is a day where you two grow together and bakugou is proud of you for simple improvements in your strength (you’re stronger than him lol and he knows you could take him down in a second!)
IZUKU MIDORIYA —
before dating:
Izuku notices your quiet demeanor but senses a strong presence and capability within you. he’d write about your strength and weaknesses in his hero notebook. he’d ask you so much questions (totally not to get to know you better… totally…)
“sorry- i’m not trying to be a bother but can you tell me more about your quirk! it’s so cool and you’re so strong!” he blushes immediately after rambling about how you’re so talented and your strength is admirable. meanwhile, your twirling your hair over the fact he thinks your strong!
one time, you caught him drawing out your hero suit and make little point notes about it. you went to your dorm and giggled about it for the rest of the day. it literally felt like a award to be in his hero notebook!
we all know izuku is his classmates biggest supporter, he is always wanting his classmates to grow alongside him and is pushing everyone to become the best hero they can be!
with you, he offers encouragement and support to you, believing in your potential and wanting you to believe in yourself as well.
because of your quiet nature, izuku might try and show his admiration for you in anyway he can. he admires your quiet determination, seeing it as a reflection of your inner strength and resolve.
basically, he’s your #1 fan!
you two initially work well together as teammates, with Izuku valuing your contributions and skills.
once you two start dating, it’s a whole different story!
dating him:
your relationship deepens Izuku’s admiration for your quiet strength, appreciating how you compliment each other. (everyone is class 1-A is still shocked at how well you two compliment each other, even before you guys were dating!)
izuku becomes a source of emotional support for you, understanding your quiet nature and providing comfort when needed. he never tries to push you outside of your comfort zone, enjoying your quiet times when his day has been stressful and filled with loud classmates.
you two continue to train together, pushing each other to improve and achieve your goals. you always tell him about how you want to grow your relationship by training and working hard together!(izuku almost cries when you tell him that, pls he loves you so much)
izuku and you build a strong foundation of trust and understanding, working towards your dreams together while supporting each other every step of the way.
he enjoys your company more than anyone else, not only are you strong physically but you are strong mentally. your words of encouragement and advice after a tough day of training always make him want to jump off the walls! you have that effect on him!
—
for both boys, whether before or after they start dating you, katsuki and izuku come to deeply appreciate your quiet strength and see it as an integral part of your relationship dynamics!

Both the Princess and the Long Quiet are trapped in an abusive situation under the Narrator. He has created an intentional power difference between her and him, and shows preferential treatment of the latter over the other.
He uses the Long Quiet to do his dirty work. He gives him incomplete information about her so that he supposedly will treat her in a specific way he wants him to. He also, conditionally, praises him as somebody valuable - a Hero - and demonizes the Princess. He uses the Long Quiet as an extension of himself and his abuse of the Princess, because he can't directly affect her.
If he refuses to do the Narrator's bidding, he withdraws his praise, insults, gaslights and guilts, and tries to manipulate him in many more ways so that he'll act in the ways he wants him to.
Because of his position, he's much more likely to repeat the patterns of abuse because of fear / desire for / feeling entitled to absolute control after having a taste of it.
He can also break the pattern because he realizes the Princess is just as trapped as him, and that he wants to be kind, to be better.
The Narrator has trapped and isolated (and abandoned) the Princess without her knowledge from a distance. She has no idea who she is because she never had the chance to maker her own experience, and doesn't know where she is or why, or why she's alone.
He implicitely has left her surroundings hostile to her, telling her that she's at fault for her imprisonment. He uses another person to torment and abuse her. The same person is also her only chance to be free, and the only person who can understand her, because he's trapped in the same prison.
She's more likely to make the best out of a horrible situation. She can also try to control him, and / or become (understandably) cruel at her treatment by him and lash out. Sometimes out of proportion to the hurt against her because he's the only person present and she doesn't have healthy outlets.
Slay the Princess is a love story. It's also a story of two people in different positions of the same abusive situation, pitted against each other, and how they react to that. How they start and how they are treated shape their potential reactions.

Off the deep end 4 (18+)
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3
Pairing: ghostface!Sam Carpenter x f!reader
Warnings: smut, fingering, strap on sex, praise, r gets tied up, pet names, spanking (like once), canon typical violence, blood, stabbing
Summary: "Take off my mask"
A/n: ...I'm sorry
Masterlist
Ghostface sits on the loveseat, her legs crossed and her posture entirely relaxed as she playfully taps her knife against the glass of your coffee table.
You take a second to gather your courage and lunge.
She's too gobsmacked to react, and in less than a second you have her pinned against the back of the loveseat, a knife pressing against her neck.
"The bodega. Was it you? Because if it was, I'll gut you myself," you growl.
You feel her shaky exhale before she drops her knife to the floor, turning you around in a split second and pinning you down with her weight. Your knife is still dangerously close to her neck, but you don't think she cares, with the way she grabs your waist possessively.
"Fuck," she breathes out, caressing your waist.
"Let me go," you hiss, pushing against her chest with your other hand.
She uses this moment to push your hand away from her throat, clutching it in her strong grip, your knife dangling uselessly between your fingertips.
"There's no way I'm letting you go, baby. No fucking way." She's breathless, her chest heaving heavily as she pushes you deeper into the cushions.
"I'm not your baby," you growl, trying to push her away. "You think you can just show up here after almost killing my friends? I don't care what kind of vigilante bullshit you've got going on, they're off limits." You buckle against her, growing red in the face when she doesn't move an inch.
She tilts her head, seemingly taking you in. She stays silent way too long for your liking, just breathing heavily and observing you, shifting her grip on your wrist. The action reminds you that your other hand is still around her shoulder, clutching it hard enough to leave half moons on her skin even through multiple layers of fabric.
"Go ahead," she whispers, "try."
You wonder how the fuck does she know what you're about to do.
Still, your hand moves slowly, and you don't dare look away from the black hollow eyes of the mask, swallowing when you finally come in contact with the heated skin of her neck. You don't waste another moment and grip, cutting off her airway. She expected it, clearly, but she still lets you send both of you tumbling to the floor. She lands with a huff, your thighs straddling her hips, and now that your roles are reversed you feel a sense of power over her, no matter how fleeting it might be.
Her pulse is erratic against your fingers, but she stays still, not moving an inch, and speaks up, "I came here to punish you, you know? I told you to stay home. Our home." You freeze, gaping at her. "I thought you learned your lesson that first time, but no, you decide to play hero and go off on your own in the middle of the fucking night," she growls, easily throwing you off her body. You sit on the floor, not daring to move as she removes her voice changer.
There's no need for that - you already know who's behind the mask.
"Take off my mask," Sam orders and you tremble at the commanding tone, hesitantly reaching up to remove the plastic.
There's no color in her eyes, only black of her pupils. She's panting, her expression pure lust. She looks you up and down slowly, gaze lingering on the knife between your fingers. You let it fall on the floor with a dull thump and she smiles dangerously, lifting her eyes. "Now take off your clothes."
You whimper, clumsily following the order as she drinks you up with her eyes, kneeled on the floor. When you're left naked she rummages in the pockets off her robe, pulling something out before carelessly shrugging it off and throwing it to the side.
"Come here," she pats her lap, leaning back against the foot of the couch. You do so quickly, stifling a whimper when your core brushes against her leg. She pulls you into a bruising kiss, all teeth and bite as your hips start rocking on her thigh, chasing pleasure. You grip the cushions behind her back, arching in her hold before you feel her push your hands away and lead them behind your back. She tries them up with something silky and smooth, probably a scarf, tugging to check if it's tight enough.
"So you don't jump me again," she chuckles and you grow embarrassingly wet, stifling a whimper at her degrading tone. "I only wanted to scare you that night when I visited you for the first time. Wanted to make sure you listen to me next time, but there you were, in a fucking towel. I wanted you for so long and you were right there, ready for me to take." She pushes on your hips, and you throw your head back, letting out a loud moan when you feel a bulge in her pants. "But this time… you pinned me down, put a knife to my throat. Remember what you said?" She husks, cupping the back of your head and forcing you to look at her. You nod dazedly, nails dig into your palms, trying to keep in your pathetic whimpers. She plants her hands on your cheeks. "Say it again."
You close your eyes and arch into her body, your breasts practically in her face. "I said I'd gut you- not you, I- I'd kill the person who tried to hurt you and Tara."
She lets out a deep breath that sounds like a moan and reaches behind you. "You'd kill for me?" She pants.
You nod against her lips. "Yes."
She growls, a sound so deep and primal it makes you shudder, and shows you the mask. "Then I think you should put this on, don't you?" You don't dare move an inch, watching as she puts the mask on your face with hunger in her eyes. Her thigh pushes between your legs, making you whimper. "Sam- please…"
"Perfect." She chuckles, trailing a hand trailing over your breasts, slowly, teasingly. "You love it, don't you? That's why you never said anything. I killed everyone who tried to hurt you and you fucking love it."
"Yes. Fuck, yes, Sam," you gasp grinding on her thigh. You can't take your eyes off her. Sweat drips down the valleys between her breasts, disappearing behind her thin tank top, pulling your attention to her perky nipples. You'd kill for a chance to taste them.
"My dirty girl, fucking perfect for me." She leans down and places long kisses down your neck, savoring the taste of your skin. Your breasts brush and you arch into her, chasing the feeling, but she merely chuckles before forcing your legs open and plunging two fingers inside with no warning. Your hands jerk and you hiss when the movement makes the scarf tighten, hurting your wrists. Sam chuckles into your neck before biting down, leaving a deep purple mark as you struggle to hold back a moan. "Don't," she hisses, "don't you dare hold back." She thrusts into you mercilessly, tugging your nipple between her teeth.
You want to throw your arms around her shoulders and hide your face in her hair, pulling her incredibly close, but your hands lay limp behind your back and the mask on your face makes it impossible to feel the softness of her hair. You look at her through the dark hollows, gasping for breath when she adds a third finger, almost falling back on the floor, trying to ride her, moving your hips up and down.
You feel pressure building in your lower belly and you tell Sam you're close, moaning her name as she fastens her pace before she abruptly pulls out, leaving you to whine uselessly.
She gets up from the floor with you in her arms and throws you over her shoulder, heading to your bedroom. Her palm settles on your ass, squeezing possessively as she shoulders your door before carelessly throwing you on the bed, making you bounce on the mattress. There's shuffling of fabric before she quickly unties your wrists. You sigh, flexing the strained muscles, and then you're rolled on your back, moaning when you see her fully naked. You let out a heavy breath, looking at Sam towering over you, her abs clenched as her fingers wrap around her strap. You unconsciously spread your legs, shuffling higher to settle on the pillows.
"Hands on the headboard," she orders, picking up the scarf from the floor. You put your hands over your head and she makes quick work of tying them up again, giving your nipple a painful squeeze as her hand slides down your torso to your dripping pussy.
"Please, Sam," you plead, grinding on her palm.
She hums and straddles your thigh, her sex flush against the muscle, smearing wetness. She grinds on you messily, losing herself in pleasure, and you're left to marvel at the sight. Her abs clench each time her pussy slides over your flesh, chest rising rapidly. She closes her eyes and throws her head back, moaning loudly. You whimper, trying to find friction against her thigh. She looks down at you in ecstasy, breathing through her open mouth as she messily humps your leg.
"Fuck, you look so good," you whimper, thinking you could come just from watching her. She chuckles lowly, coating you in her arousal and her strap bumps against your clit, making your hips jerk.
"You want it?" She taunts, halting her movements and positioning herself between your parted thighs. Your legs wrap around her waist, pulling her flush against you before you answer. "I want you," you whimper, feeling the tip of her cock nudge against your entrance.
"You have me, baby," she says, before snapping her hips forward, burying the thick length in your wet heat. "How does that feel, hm?"
You moan, hips buckling in her hold. "So good, Sam, you feel so good."
She hums and starts thrusting slowly, placing fleeting kisses over your chest before she leans back, her fingers wrapping around your ankles to throw them over her shoulders. "Keep them open for me," she says and returns her hands to your hips, pressing you into the bed, picking up the pace.
She mercilessly pounds into your pussy, the wet slapping sound echoing through your room. You moan, throwing your head back, making the mask skew a little before it's ripped off your face. "Want to see your pretty face when you come," she breathes, pressing on the bulge on your lower belly. "You're taking my cock so well, princess. Such a good girl." Her praises reach your ears, but you barely make them out amidst mind-blowing pleasure.
"S-sam! Fuck, I'm close," you moan, helplessly tugging on the restraints. Sam starts rubbing your clit and you feel your orgasm build up, making you arch your back off the bed.
"You're gonna scream for me, baby," she pants, fastening her pace, her strap burying in your tight cunt to the hilt, her thumb playing with your swollen nub of nerves.
You come with a loud cry of her name, your walls clenching around the silicone cock as she continues pounding into you at an animalistic pace, drilling you into the bed. Your bed shakes, the headboard steadily smashing against the wall as she makes it her mission to lead you to another orgasm. Your tears roll down your cheeks, blurring the sight of her lust filled eyes, looking down at you like she's about to consume you whole.
"Such a good pussy, all mine to use," she purrs, throwing your legs off her shoulders and rolling you onto your side, the changing of the angle making her strap reach deeper into you. Her hand settles over your thigh, gripping possessively before she lets go to land a slap on your ass, her other hand pressing down on the side of your head.
"Yours, a-all yours ah-," you cry out, feeling your climax approach, each thrust bringing you closer to the edge.
She leans over your body to whisper in your ear. "You're mine. Say it."
Your eyes roll to the back of your head as she buries her strap in you again and again, hitting your sensitive spot. "Yours, I'm yours."
She bites down on the curve of your shoulder to hide her moan as she reaches her high, taking you over the edge with her. Your vision goes white, your cunt clenching around her cock, your wetness coating the sheets under you.
She slumps beside you, lazily untying the scarf and massaging your arms before slowly pulling out and pushing you to lay on top of her. "We're not done yet, baby," she whispers into your hair and pulls you into a deep kiss.
×××
A piercing ringing sound wakes you up, making you roll out of Sam's warm embrace and fall on the floor in a heap of sheets with a dull thump. You groan, sending her a finger when she snorts and finally picks up her phone. Your carpeted floor feels too fluffy to get up and move back to bed, your eyes falling shut as Sam speaks with her sister. You slowly drift off, teetering on the edge of consciousness when Sam picks you up and gently lowers you back on the bed, pressing a chaste kiss on the corner of your mouth before disappearing behind the bathroom door. You burrow into her pillow, the sound of running water lulling you back to sleep.
Next time you wake up to gentle caresses, smiling, not fully awake yet, but not asleep either. You feel her lips stretch in a smile when she starts kissing the side of your neck, her breath tickling, making you giggle.
You finally open your eyes when she calls out your name, coaxing you to get up. You pout and try to tug her back to bed, but she narrowly escapes your grip, chuckling when you frown.
"It's past noon, time to get up. Tara's been worried out of her mind," she says and checks her phone when it dings, groaning as she reads the text. "They're all waiting back home. I hate these kids sometimes."
You snort, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes. "I bet Mindy made everyone come cause she has some theory to share."
She laughs quietly as she types a response, and looks back at you. "Breakfast is almost ready and you better be dressed when I come back. And don't even try covering these up." She gestures to your neck with her forefinger and you instinctively reach up to touch your sore skin.
She's out of the door before you could complain, leaving you to stew in now cold sheets. You don't test your luck though, and rush to take a shower and dress when you hear her in the kitchen.
You get ready in record time, walking into the kitchen right when she starts putting plates on the table. Your mouth waters when a delicious smell hits your nose, and when she pulls out a chair for you, you rush to her side to press a kiss on her cheek. "Thank you," you whisper.
She hums, pushing your hair to one side when you sit and presses a kiss to your neck. "My girlfriend deserves the best," she breathes, making you shudder.
You find the strength to object. "You didn't even ask if I want to be your girlfriend."
She pauses, frowning. "You don't?"
You bite back a smile at her confused expression, pulling her down for a proper kiss. "It doesn't hurt to ask."
She huffs, and walks around the table to take a seat, looking you right in the eye as she replies. "Do you want to be my girlfriend?"
"Yes," you mumble, growing embarrassingly red, and dive in the food, biting back a moan at the taste. She hums in approval, swiping some sauce for the corner of your mouth. "Good girl."
×××
You ask the question that's been nagging at your mind for the past few days when you're getting ready to leave. "So… there are at least two, right?"
"Hm?"
"Ghostface. One called and the other one attacked you at the bodega."
She shrugs, "I guess."
You frown, noting her lack of reaction. "When I got the call they said they knew your secret."
She walks up to you and puts her hands around your waist. "It doesn't matter. They still haven't told anyone and that means they want to deal with me themselves."
You nod. It makes sense, but you're still worried. The possibility of her dying or going behind bars makes your skin crawl.
"Hey," she caresses your cheek, "it'll be okay, I promise, just… you're with me, right?"
Your lips press against her palm. "Always."
You enter the building an hour later, darting inside quickly, Sam checking every corner before she lets you pass. You walk quietly, heading for the elevators when a man stops in your way, smiling at Sam. You expect her to ignore him or maybe even push him out of the way, but she rolls her eyes good-naturally and greets him with a hug, a smile pulling at the corner of her mouth.
"Who's this?" You ask, eyes darting between Sam and the man, and you decide you don't like him at all.
He looks… adequate, tall and obviously muscular, his eyes bright blue. He also looks dangerous, like a guy you'd avoid at parties. But then again Sam looks dangerous too, so you probably shouldn't judge him too quickly.
"Danny. Our neighbor," she introduces you and he smiles, extending his hand.
You take it, his fingers wrapping around yours with gentle, but firm squeeze. You mutter your name, looking him up and down. You've never seen him before and you've spent weeks at Sam's place by now.
"I don't think I've ever seen you before."
He chuckles and rubs the back of his head. "I'm not surprised. I work at night, sleep through the day."
You nod, feeling Sam's eyes on you. "Yeah, that must be it," you mumble.
She nudges you to the elevators, bidding Danny goodbye. You follow her, chewing on your lip.
No, you decide, you definitely don't like him.
"What was that?" Sam asks with a teasing glint in her eyes. "Jealous?"
You scoff. "You wish."
She hums in agreement, but sports a smug smile all the way to her front door. Tara greets you both with a hug the second you step inside the apartment, eyeing you worriedly. Sam shrugs her off with a calming smile, urging her into the kitchen. You bite back a smile when Tara begrudgingly follows, muttering something about Sam and her stress cooking.
Mindy and Anika are cuddled up on the couch, too busy gossiping about their new professor to notice you. Chad gives you a small wave, scooting to give you space to sit. The hug he gives you is warm and reassuring and you place a chaste kiss on his cheek, noting the absence of Quinn and Ethan.
"Quinn's in her room and Ethan has Econ," he mumbles, noticing your questioning look. You nod, and relax against his shoulder, allowing yourself to bask in the moment.
Sam and Tara chatter as they cook something, judging by the smell it's Sam's famous grilled cheese. Your mouth waters even though you ate not that long ago, remembering the taste. You sneak a glance in their direction and see them laughing. The shorter girl shoves Sam hard, but your girlfriend doesn't budge, eyes rolling at the sisters' antics.
You wish you could stay like this forever.
Mindy finally looks away from her girlfriend, eyebrows jumping up when she sees you. "Where have you been?"
You groan, feeling the way Chad's shoulders shake with laughter. "She won't let it go, just roll with it," he whispers.
"She was with me, Mindy, don't even start," Sam shouts from the kitchen, twirling a knife between her fingers. The sight makes something inside of you catch on fire.
"Gross," Mindy grumbles and whines when Anika leaves her, choosing to sit on your other side.
You share a laugh, your friend molding against your side. They put on a movie, not a slasher, thank god, and you settle deeper into the cushions as you watch, putting your hand around Anika's shoulders and sending Mindy a smug look. She rolls her eyes, huffing, and crosses her arms, turning to look at the screen with her lips jutted out. Sam and Tara join you when they're finally done, your girlfriend sending Chad and Anika a glare before she settles on the floor with a pout, a mirror image of Mindy. You bite on your lower lip, suppressing a smile. Screen flashes brightly and you dive into the story unfolding, forgetting about the real world for a few hours.
You nod off when you're almost halfway through the sequel, now flat against Sam's front as you both sit on some cushions on the floor, Mindy having thrown you away from her girlfriend when she came back with more snacks. Sam's arms find home around your waist, keeping you trapped between her legs as she presses soft kisses all over the side of your face. She shushes everyone and lowers the volume once she finally notices you've fallen asleep, snatching Mindy's blanket to cover your feet.
When you open your eyes some time later, expecting to see credits rolling or another movie playing, you see a murder report, sirens in the background wailing loudly, a likely cause of your abrupt awakening. You frown, struggling to make out words with your mind still half asleep, but when you hear your girlfriend's name your focus becomes laser like. Everyone in the room listens with rapt attention to every word falling from the reporter's mouth, Sam nudging you away and stomping to the kitchen once murder acquisitions are made known.
You swallow, looking at Sam's hunched figure, your throat suddenly dry. Tara elbows you and throws her chin in Sam's direction, eyes widening in an attempt at silent communication. You nod and follow her, both of you taking a seat on either side of the dejected woman.
"Sam?" Tara hesitantly speaks up. "None of what they said matters. We'll get that motherfucker and people will know the truth. They'll see you how we see you." She places her hand on top of Sam's, squeezing.
You bite on your lower lip when Sam's face crumbles at her sister's words, a single tear sliding down her cheek. "And what if they're right?" She croaks, turning to look at her sister. "What if they see me for what I really am and you're the one who's wrong?"
Tara opens her mouth, fire in her eyes, but you beat her to it. "She's right," you state, Sam snapping back to look at you. "You did what you had to do before. They'll never understand it, but we do. You're good, Sam, everyone in this room knows it."
Mindy and Chad take a seat across the table, worriedly eyeing your girlfriend, but her eyes are on you, latching onto every word that leaves your lips.
"Do you really think so?" She whispers and you can see the hidden insecurity behind her irises. This feels like a conversation you should be having in private, away from Mindy's piercing eyes and Tara's attentiveness.
Your lips press against hers before you whisper quietly, only for her to hear. "I know so. You saved me, remember?"
Tension seeps away as she pulls you into another kiss, lips moving gently against your own, tongue sliding across your bottom lip before Mindy forces you apart by fake gagging.
Tara pulls her into a hug, somehow fitting her older sister in the slope of her neck. "Shut it, Mindy." She glares at the girl.
Mindy throws her arms up in mock surrender and Chad takes this moment to say, "That's right. We're the core four, we've been through worse."
Sam loudly snorts into Tara's shoulder, making the girl grimace. "The core what?" Mindy's side eye burns through him.
"The core four. You know, cause we've been through a lot. Plus, it sounds cool."
"It really doesn't," you chuckle.
"And there's five of us, dingus, six if we count Anika," the twin sister points out.
"Yeah, but Y/n isn't Woodsboro and neither is Anika..." he trails off, looking to the side. "Core four and a half? Core four and plus ones?"
Mindy rolls her eyes so hard you're afraid they might stick to the back of her head. "Just shut up."
You get up to get a glass of water for Sam after making sure she's fine, dropping your phone on the table and heading to the kitchen. Your eyes roll to the back of your head when you hear Quinn and her latest boy toy going at it again, and open the fridge, scanning for a bottle of water.
Suddenly, the apartment grows quiet before chaos takes over.
"Y/n!" Sam shouts loudly, and you run back, her fingers immediately latching onto your wrist with a tight grip. She shows you a message on her phone, a photo of Ghostface holding Quinn by the throat in her room.
You freeze with a baited breath, eyes pinned to the door. Pained wails from behind the wall make you dart to the door, throwing Sam's hand away from yours. You open the door before she pushes you behind her back, obscuring the view, but you still catch a glimpse of Quinn's limp body being thrown at Anika.
Your friends scream and scutter around the apartment, Ghostface hot on your heels. Sam's hand finds yours again, pulling you behind Chad and Tara, Mindy and Anika following close by, but Ghostface is faster, rounding you up, Sam's hand slipping from your grasp as he shuts the front door right in your face, cutting you away from Sam, Tara and Chad. The door starts shaking from the force of Sam's efforts, but you know it's useless - she made sure nothing could get through that door when they moved in. You duck when the robed figure slashes at you, nipping your shoulder. Mindy shouts something about knives from the kitchen and runs up to clock Ghostface with a knife holder, throwing him off his feet. Anika tugs you back into Quinn's room and you stumble on her body, almost falling into a puddle of blood, but Mindy is right there on your other side, shoving you behind the door and quickly locking it.
The three of you lean on the door, feet planted firmly on the floor as Ghostface tries to knock it down. The hinges squeak from the force, dust falling on your shoulders as you pant heavily, thinking of a way out. You look around the room, trying to find some sort of weapon, but the only thing somewhat fitting your requirements is a bedside lamp, glowing mockingly with a pinkish hue. The rattling stops, and your panic increases tenfold. Your eyes land on Mindy's, her face growing pale as she looks at something over your shoulder before she forces you back and throws herself at the bathroom door with a scream.
The dark figure easily throws the door open, slicing her bicep to the bone. The girl falls to the floor, clutching the deep cut, unaware of the hand raised over her head, ready to land the final blow. Anika launches herself at the killer, kicking and screaming, as you dart for the fucking lamp, clutching it in your sweaty palm, ready to knock the hooded person unconscious. You turn around just in time to see your friend's stomach being sliced open, a guttural scream ripping from her throat.
She falls to the ground and you swing the lamp as hard as you can, sending Ghostface back to the bathroom and snapping the door shut right in his face. You sit, propped against the door, frantically looking around for something to block it with. Mindy presses down on Anika's stomach, there's so much blood it's going to make you sick.
You turn away, blinking back tears, your eyes landing on the dresser.
"Mindy," you croak, "Mindy we need to prop it against the door." She looks at you, then at the dresser and back to Anika, who nods, schooling her features.
You move in tandem, you still holding the door, with Ghostface now trying to knock it down, and her pushing the dresser firmly against the door. You sag once it's in place, picking up on distant shouts.
"Y/n!" Sam calls from the window across, a leader clutched between her and Danny. You let out a relieved laugh, securing the ladder on the windowsill. "That's it, baby, now come here," she urges, a desperate look in her eyes.
You shake your head, looking back at Mindy and Anika, and at the shaking door. "They're injured, Sam. They'll go first." She looks like she wants to protest, but relents once she sees the look in your eyes.
"Just one at a time," Danny speaks up.
You nod before turning back and taking a place on the floor, gently pressing down on Anika's wound, your hands turning red mere seconds later. You fight the urge to gag, looking at your friends through the tears. "You first, Mindy."
Mindy looks up, scandalized. "I'm not leaving her," she gritts.
"M-Mindy," Anika whimpers, clutching your wrists.
"No."
"You'll get there quick and I'll be right behind you, o-okay?" The girl stutters, pleading with her eyes.
"Then you go first," Mindy sniffles, "I'll hold it steady and wait till you get across."
You close your eyes, your whole body jostling from the force of Ghostfaces efforts. Your friend is losing more and more blood, coating the floor and your clothes, making you shudder. Sam starts shouting again, screaming for one of you to finally go. You look at Mindy, whispering, "You have to go."
"I'll just s-slow you down. Just go, please, just g-go." Anika begs, tears rolling down her face. Mindy nods resolutely and you look away, giving them some resemblance of privacy as they share a heartfelt kiss.
Mindy grabs your collar, forcing you to look at her when they're done. "You get her out, understand?"
You nod, watching as she looks at her girlfriend one last time and hurries to the ladder, hesitantly climbing on.
"You'll go next," Anika whispers, closing her eyes.
Your head whips back, eyes wide as you look at your friend's pale face. "I'm not fucking leaving you, An. We stick together, remember?"
She chuckles humorlessly, the sound turning into a wheeze. "I don't want you d-dying with me."
You swallow back a sob, knowing that the open wound is looking worse with each passing second, her fingers so weak she can barely hold onto your hand, let alone a ladder.
She looks like she knows what you're thinking about, smiling gently. "I'll h-hold him off. I still have some fight in me."
You shake your head, blinking back tears, and look out the window to see Mindy's almost halfway to the other side. You think and think and think, because there has to be something, there must be a way. There's probably some sort of weapon in Sam's room, but you're not sure if you'll make it back in time or if you'll be able to fight off Ghostface. You can feel the door almost give out, crossing out the options of just staying there and waiting for the police to arrive.
Anika pushes your hands away and you blink back at her. "Go," she whispers, fighting back tears. "We b-both know I won't make it across that ladder."
You shake your head, realization dawning on you. "The front door," you mutter, "An, it's locked from the inside! And that fucker won't even hear you through all that noise. You can make it to the elevators. You can!"
She freezes, eyes darting between the door and the window, you can see a glimpse of hope appear. "I can," she nods, "but what about you?"
You swallow. "I'll hold him off and go for the ladder when he breaks down the door. I promise, I'll get out."
She looks like she wants to argue, but Mindy's triumphant shout as she finally lands on the floor makes her nod quietly. You don't have time to argue, you both know it.
"Anika!" Mindy urges and you can hear Sam cursing loudly.
The wounded girl nods solemnly and pads to the door that leads to the hallway, unlocking it quietly.
"What the fuck are you doing?" Mindy yells.
Sam doesn't say anything and shoves Mindy out of the way, ready to climb the goddamn ladder, Danny holding her back by her shoulders.
"No!" You shout, looking back to see Anika already in the hallway. "Anika's going and I'm next. Trust me, please."
Sam looks at you, a silent question in her eyes, you shake your head, hoping she'll listen. She sags. "Okay."
You exhale in relief, turning to watch Anika as she trudges through the living room, back aching from continuing shoves.
Minutes tickle by, Mindy disappears from view to go to the living room, watching her girlfriend through the window. You hold on, heels of your feet firmly on the floor, but you can already feel your strength starting to slip.
Anika is nowhere to see, so you turn to Sam, a question on your tongue.
"You can go now," she nods. "C'mon, babe, hurry." She stretches one arm out, the other holding the ladder tightly. Danny is by her side, pushing all of his weight to their end of the ladder.
You get up and run for the window, the dresser now pushed against the wall, the door wide open. Your foot slips on the windowsill, but you manage to hold on, all of your body now on the ladder, looking down at the street below. You start trembling violently, now understanding why Mindy took so long to get across. Sam's eyes are on you the whole time and when you finally look up she offers an encouraging nod, jaw clenched in concentration as she watches your every move.
Her eyes land on something behind you and you freeze, hair on the back of your neck standing up. You don't have to look back to know Ghostface is standing there, but you still do, ignoring Sam's yelling and the tremble in your arms. He stands there, motionless, head tilted in silent curiosity. The ladder squeaks, and your sweaty palms make your grip slip, but you hold on, looking at the killer.
There's a dull sound just outside the apartment that makes him look back at the door and then at you again. His head tilts to the other side as he puts on a show of counting each of you, five fingers up, curling them one by one after he points at you, then Sam, Danny and finally Mindy. He looks at the only finger left, his pinky, and shakes his head in mock disappointment.
"No," you breath out, already climbing back.
He raises a hand, waving you goodbye playfully, gloved fingers wiggling around the sharp knife.
"Get here right now!" Sam shouts, halfway out of the window, but you're out of her grasp. "What the fuck are you doing?!"
You shake your head again, stumbling back inside Quinn's room as the ladder falls down to the street below, Sam's screams filling your ears as you run after Ghostface.
"Anika!" You shout when the elevator is finally in sight, Anika holding on to the railing and Ghostface slipping inside.
You run at full speed, but you still don't make it in time, doors sliding closed as he buries the knife deep into her chest, making you run flat into the metal, Anika's screams echoing through the apartment building. You wipe away your tears and turn for the stairs, jumping five at a time as you make it down to the first floor. You see the back door fall shut after a figure runs out, panic overtaking as you finally face the elevator.
You've never seen that much blood in your life. The walls are covered in splashes of red, the floor just a puddle of dark liquid. Anika wheezes, choking on her blood. You fall to your knees beside her, afraid to touch her fragile body, cuts and stabs littering her torso. Your vision blurs. You don't even know which wound to press on, all of them gushing with blood. In the end you press your palms to the deep cut on her chest, sobbing when more blood starts spilling from other gashes.
She gathers the last of her strength and grips the hem of your shirt. "T-thank you," she wheezes, more blood trailing down her chin.
"What?" You breathe out, choking. "It's my fault. I should've made you climb that fucking ladder."
"I- I would've f-fell." She takes a shallow breath. "Brains a-all over the s-street." She grimaces, gripping you tighter. "This way I get to be with my f-friend for the… for the last time." She smiles, eyes growing hazy and unfocused before they fall shut, her chest no longer rising with ragged breaths.
You wail, desperately shaking her body, begging her to open her eyes. You center your hands on her chest and start pressing to the beat of fucking Stayin' Alive. You follow the steps that have been drilled into your brain on one of the courses you took, pinching Anika's nose and breathing into her mouth, waiting to see the rise of her chest. You repeat it again and again and again, hitting her chest with full force in a hopeless attempt at bringing her back to life.
Arms circle around your shoulders, your body immobilized by a person behind you. You try to throw them off, pushing with your elbows, Anika's unmoving chest the only thing you see.
"Stop," Sam croaks, pulling you against her chest.
"Get off me!" You scream. "I need to- I need-" you sob, uselessly falling back into her arms. She drags you away from the elevator, EMTs immediately rushing in. You turn in her hold, staining her with Anika's blood as she holds you close, blinking back her tears and whispering reassurances into your ear.

⚣ It's Not A Competition 🥇
⚣👊🏻 A/N → SURPRISE! double post today! I've been wanting to do a Clark Kent post forever but never had any good ideas. Then, this popped into my mind. Also, I'm really trying to clear out my drafts and any old requests. WARNINGS: Canon-Typical Violence | Jealousy | Established Relationship
⚣👊🏻 Summary → Dark Knight this and Dark Knight that. What about Superman?! He's also a great hero! Better than Batman, at least. The guy doesn't even have powers. But that's what makes him more interesting and cool, according to Y/N. And frankly, Clark has had quite enough and intends to show him why Superman is way better than Batman.
⚣👊🏻 Words → 4.7K
REBLOGS & replies are greatly appreciated, please! 💛
⚣ ENJOY 👊🏻

Clark just didn’t get it.
Why was it that Y/N was so obsessed with Batman and not Superman? All the young reporter ever talked about was the Dark Knight and how he was so cool and mysterious. Going on and on about his awesome gadgets and the fact that he had no powers, which made him so interesting.
Clark very much would beg to differ.
“You know, Superman can shoot lasers out of his eyes, and I heard he can move faster than the speed of sound,” Clark pointed out while walking with Y/N down the sidewalk. They decided to go out for lunch and since the Daily Planet was so close to one of Y/N's favorite restaurants downtown, he figured, why not just walk together?
“Clark, not this again,” Y/N chuckled while sipping his drink.
“I’m sorry, you just always talk about how great Batman is, and I’m not saying he’s bad, but I don’t get how he’s better than Superman?”
“You know, you’re starting to sound like Lois with all your Superman praise and comparison.”
“Well, she’s not wrong. I mean, come on. What can Batman do that Superman can’t?” Clark asked, looking down at his boyfriend while waiting for an answer.
“Batman’s quicker on his feet. He thinks of solutions faster and more creatively than what I’ve seen from Superman. Plus, he’s resourceful. The guy’s got a freaking jet. The only people I could think of that own jets and planes and all the crazy gadgets he has would probably be Lex Luthor or Bruce Wayne.”
Clark tried not to react to the irony of that statement, rather focusing on how he could combat that logic even though it was true. He had to admit that his comrade, whether in the field or in practice, was very good at analyzing a situation and using whatever he had around him to his advantage.
Still, it didn’t mean he was better than him.
“Well, Superman can also fly, and as many have witnessed, is crazy strong.”
“Yes, he is. But if Batman can afford a jet, I’m pretty sure he can afford a jetpack, too. Plus, we all know how strong Superman is, some more than others. Their insurance claims can definitely speak to how strong he is.”
That last line Y/N said was more so to himself than as a statement to Clark. However, it didn’t take away the slight sting from his words, considering how true they were.
“So you’re saying Superman is reckless and bad at his job or something?” Clark accused.
“What? No, I’m not saying that at all. Why are you getting so defensive about this? You’re acting as if you know the guy. Wait, do you know him?” Y/N asked, now looking up at his giant of a boyfriend.
Sometimes, he wondered what kind of genes ran in Clark’s family. It was a bit of a puzzle to Y/N why the six-foot-something man was in journalism rather than something that seemed more his speed, like fitness or athletics.
“No, of course not. I just don’t think it’s fair or even logical to compare Superman to someone like Batman, considering what each of them has respectfully achieved, not to mention the state of their cities and everything. I mean, have you ever been to Gotham before?” Clark asked, doing his best to not draw any more curiosity or suspicion out of the younger male.
Not that he was doing a good job of that in the first place.
Clark just wished he could’ve shown Y/N why Superman was better than Batman. They’d only been dating for a few months so it wasn’t reasonable or even smart for the Kryptonian to consider revealing his identity to him, no matter how much he wanted to.
“Clark, it’s not a competition. You know that, right?” Y/N said, placing his hand on Clark’s arm.
They paused in their steps, Clark looking down at the gentle hand lying across his forearm before looking up into the eyes that always put him under a spell. He smiled to himself, thinking of the fact that even if Y/N favored Batman over Superman, Clark was still the real winner, because he had him.
He took his hand in his own, doing his best to contain his excitement pulse at the feeling of his larger hand surrounding the smaller one in his grip. Y/N was still a male, so his hand wasn’t dainty or small by any means, but compared to Clark’s, it might as well have been.
“Yeah, I know. Sorry, I got a little bit crazy.” Clark apologized with a small kiss on the shorter man’s hand causing a slight blush to appear on the smaller male’s cheeks.
“It’s ok. Besides, I like a little bit of crazy. Keeps things interesting.” Y/N said before continuing their walk towards Clark’s place of work.
‘You have no idea,’ Clark thought to himself as he followed behind, letting himself be tugged along.

They returned to the Daily Planet to find everywhere in a buzz, chattering excitedly with each other as various individuals were either running to the bathroom with pouches of makeup and skincare and others at their desks touching up their hair and clothes.
“What’s going on?” Clark asked aloud as he strode into the office while still holding Y/N’s hand.
“Was it like this when we left?” His boyfriend asked, chuckling at the comical movements and gestures of the rushing to get re-ready for whatever was happening.
“No, it was actually the opposite,” The reporter stated before eventually spotting Lois at her desk, who was also touching up her makeup and hair. He made his way over to the desk area, narrowly avoiding multiple people rushing while pulling Y/N closer to him to keep him from getting bumped into.
“Lois, what’s going on?”
“Oh, hey, Smallville. Hello, Y/N. Didn’t you both get the emergency email Perry sent to everyone earlier?” She said in her usual fast-paced, business tone while curling her eyelashes.
“No, We were at lunch. What was the email about?”
“Oh, Clark. Must I always have to save your butt?” Lois said before handing her phone over to the man, Y/N chuckling behind him at the comment.
Clark threw him a look while Y/N did his best to keep a neutral face before reading over the email.
“Bruce Wayne is coming to the Daily Planet?”
Y/N's eyes went comically large at the mention, immediately jumping to read the email for himself, “No way!”
Lois smirked to herself before grabbing her phone back from the man, while Clark just stared at his boyfriend in jealous shock from his excited outburst. “Yep. Wayne Enterprises has announced its support of various major liberal movements and is donating large proceeds to different organizations calling for massive change in the nation. And with this being an election year, many political figures and business entities are feeling a little uneasy at this sudden new support from the tech giant. And yours truly, landed the exclusive interview with him to get all the nitty and gritty details .”
Y/N’s eyes were almost bugging out of his head, before he ran to the bathroom himself, snatching his hand from Clark’s who looked desperately after him.
“Dammit, Bruce.” The reporter growled under his breath.
“You say something?” Lois asked while powdering her nose.
“No,” Clark responded gruffly, an irritated glint in his eye before walking to his own desk.

After everyone has ridiculously made themselves extra presentable, including Y/N much to Clark’s annoyance, the pair stand outside the room with a few others, watching through the glass pane walls as the interview is broadcast live to the entire nation. Lois asked Mr. Wayne various questions, ranging from his real intentions behind his charitable donations to whether he was looking to begin any political endeavors and win the favor of the public.
Bruce answers every question with confidence and suaveness, leaving no room for questions about his actions, and denies any political motivations. Y/N watched impressed from the other end while Clark just looked around with a grim and irritated look, his arms crossed as he listened to the interview and watched his boyfriend fanboy over his secret comrade.
“Well, you certainly seem like the charming and noble benefactor, Mr. Wayne. I can see why you're known as ‘Gotham’s Favorite Son.’ I have to ask though, even if you truly have no political ambitions, aren’t you worried that these donations and announcements along with the unwavering stance you’ve taken on these political topics will inevitably place a target on you?” Lois asked, notepad and pen sitting with poise and precision, ready to take down every little thing the billionaire said.
“Wow, I can see why she’s so respected. She’s nailing this interview.” Y/N commented.
Clark nodded to that. Even if he wasn’t feeling the most agreeable at the moment, he’d always give hats off to Lois’ skills. The woman was a powerhouse when it came to this stuff.
“Well, first off, thank you for your earlier comment. I don’t think of myself as anyone’s favorite, but even I can’t control what the public says or does,” Bruce responded with his ever-so-billion-dollar smile, earning a laugh from Lois and probably every other American tuning into this broadcast, including Y/N.
Clark, however, wasn’t impressed. He’d heard funnier.
“But, to answer your question,” Bruce continued, “...any move in the business or even the political world I imagine can be considered a risky one. I’m not going to pretend that my decisions have made some very happy, and others very unhappy. That’s life. You can’t please everyone. But, to sit and accept things as the way they are for fear of retaliation or backlash is misery in itself. I believe anyone who doesn’t speak up for what they truly believe or want for fear of ‘rocking the boat’ is just content with living in their own misery. And, let me be clear before I’m canceled—I know the meaning behind that now thanks to my kids, particularly my two youngest sons—I’m not saying someone who’s genuinely content and happy with where they are is included in this. I’m specifically talking to those who want change, and want to create a better world, but are waiting for others to do it for them.”
Despite its clichéness, many in the hall gave a small clap to the CEO’s words, Y/N looking thoroughly impressed himself.
“Wow, he really is an inspiring man,” Y/N commented.
“He’s alright,” Clark said in response.
Y/N gave the taller man a suspicious side look, “Alright, what’s going on with you? You’ve been standing there pouting
since this interview started. What, do you not like Bruce Wayne or something?"
Clark sighed before looking down at his boyfriend. It was true, he wasn't really liking the guy at the moment. But, it was just because he was so jealous. He didn’t like how Y/N was looking at him, or how he was talking about him.
It wasn't fair.
The reporter wanted Y/N to be looking at him and only him like that, and he wanted his attention and affection, and he wanted him to only talk about him like that. It was petty, and it was selfish, but Clark didn’t care.
He just wanted Y/N to only admire Clark Kent. not Bruce Wayne.
Only Superman, not Batman.
Despite Y/N's earlier words about it not being a competition, Clark knew the truth. It was a competition, one he was not planning on losing.
"No, I don't not like him. I'm just not that impressed, is all. He's not a superhero." Clark said.
"Neither is Lex Luthor. But, that doesn't stop the public from making him the villain in his story. I'm sure there's a lot more to Bruce Wayne than the media is letting on."
"Oh, trust me. There's more to him than what meets the eye," Clark mumbled to himself as the interview was getting ready to wrap up.
"Well, on behalf of the Daily Planet, I'd like to thank you for joining us today. Your words are certainly ones that will not go unheard by many. I look forward to—"
Before Lois could finish speaking, the lights in the building suddenly went out, leaving the office pitch black. A few people in the hall gasp, Y/N instinctively grabbing Clark's arm, who in turn places his hand over the smaller man's own.
"What's going on?" Someone asks.
"I don't know. It's almost like a blackout, but it can't be because we have backup generators. They should've turned it on by now." Another responded.
"Clark, what's going on?" Y/N asked toward his boyfriend, who was holding the smaller male closer to him out of instinct.
"I'm not exactly sure..."
Just as he said that, the lights came back on, and everyone was looking around confused as to what the source of the blackout was.
"Oh my god!" One of the people in the hall screamed suddenly as everyone turned back towards the interview room. Inside the room, some members of the crew suddenly had masks with insignias covering their faces on them. One of them was behind Lois holding a dagger to her neck while another stood to the side, pointing a gun directly at Bruce's head.
"I'm so sorry to interrupt, Ms. Lane," The individual in the middle of the room said, "But, this interview isn't over just yet."
"Who the hell are you people?!" Lois asked, fear and anger in her eyes as the blade was held to her neck.
"Wouldn't you like to know? As for Mr. Wayne, we're going to have a little chat. I suggest you and your friends don't follow or intervene. Otherwise, this broadcast won't be the only thing getting cut" The masked individual threatened, nodding to Lois.
"Don't you dare touch her," Bruce warned, his expression serious, as he got ready to stand.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you, Mr. Wayne. We wouldn't want anything bad to happen, now would we? Especially with all of America watching right now."
Bruce sat back down, knowing that his opponent was right. He couldn't let them hurt Lois, and he certainly couldn't risk any lives in this room.
"Don't worry, Mr. Wayne. We'll make this quick," The leader said as one of the other masked goons went to lock the door that led inside the interview room.
"Clark, we have to do something," Y/N said, his heart racing a mile a minute.
"I know. Stay here. I'll be back." Clark said before running off, leaving the smaller male alone.
"What? Clark, wait! Where are you going?" Y/N called after him, but the taller man didn't hear him, already too far away.
'What the hell is he doing?' Y/N thought to himself before turning his attention back towards the situation in front of him.
As Clark rounded the corner and made his way down the hallway, he made sure no one was watching him before he ran as fast as he could into the supply closet. Once inside, he quickly changed into his suit before taking off through the backdoor.
"So, how does it feel knowing that you're on the side of the wrong? How does it feel knowing that no matter what you do, you'll never be able to fix the mess you made? All the lives lost because of you," The masked man asked Bruce, who was sitting calmly in his chair, his eyes not showing an ounce of fear.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Of course you don't. None of you wealthy elites do. You don't know the pain and suffering your companies and your products cause to others. You don't know the misery you cause. Well, allow us to show you." The man said before signaling his partners.
One of them immediately moved and grabbed a hold of the camera, pointing it directly at the masked man in the center.
"Hello, Metropolis. And hello, America. If you're watching this, that means you're just as much a part of this as we are. if you've been sitting here listening to the lies and promises of a better world by this man and his kind, you are as much a part of his schemes as he is. It is because of people like him that we have the world we live in. It's because of people like him that so many of us suffer. It's because of people like him that the world will only continue to rot and decay until there is nothing left but a pile of ashes. But, we will not be the ones who burn. We will not be the ones who lose. We will not be the ones who suffer, not anymore. Today, we fight back. Today, we will show the world that we will not be silenced, we will not be oppressed. We will not allow the likes of him and his kind to continue to control us anymore with false promises of a better tomorrow while lining their own pockets. Today, we say enough is enough. Today, we rise. Today, we will take back what is rightfully ours. Today, we take back our freedom and our lives from the rich and corrupt." The man spoke, his words filled with conviction and determination, but also hatred and poison as he stared deep into the camera.
"And if any of you try to stop us, then you will be considered just as guilty as the rest of them. We will not be silenced. We will not be ignored. And if you think that the likes of Batman and Superman will save you, I wouldn't be too sure of that..."
As soon as the leader was done with his speech, the sound of the glass shattering was heard as Superman broke through the windows, flying into the room before stopping directly in front of the man holding the camera.
"But, I am..." The Man of Steel said, shooting a laser beam at the dagger being held by the goon threatening Lois. He immediately dropped the blade as it became too hot, giving the Daily Planet reporter the opportunity she needed to escape his hold.
"Bastards," She cursed, turning around and delivering a kick to the masked man's groin.
He groaned out in pain, falling to the floor before Lois punched him in the face, knocking him out.
Superman turned his attention back toward the masked man standing in the center, "I believe it's time for you to take a hike."
"Not yet. We still have unfinished business," The man said before signaling his other henchman. The man immediately aimed his gun at the Kryptonian, firing shot after shot into him.
Superman stood his ground as the bullets hit him, before eventually, the gun ran out.
"You're right. This is definitely the end," Superman said as he flew toward the man, knocking him out before he could reload his gun.
As Superman finished off the last of the henchmen, the leader turned back towards the camera, "Sorry, Superman. But, the damage has already been done. I hope you enjoyed this little taste of what's to come."
Before the Kryptonian could stop him, the man took out a smoke bomb, throwing it onto the ground and covering the room in a cloud of smoke.
"Crap," Superman cursed, unable to see as the man escaped.
As the smoke began to clear, Bruce took out his phone, "Alfred, I need you to track this signal."
"Understood, sir. I've also informed the police and they're on their way," Alfred responded.
"Good," Bruce said before turning back towards the room.
The actual camera crew was not out in the hall, hugging their co-workers who were all relieved at their safety. The broadcast was cut from the air, but there was no doubt every TV station from here to San Francisco was talking about it. Y/N was standing nearby, his eyes filled with awe and admiration as he stared up at Superman.
There was something oddly familiar about him.
...
Nah.
"That was incredible, Mr. Wayne," Lois said.
"I could say the same thing about you. I'm glad you're ok."
Lois smiled at him, "You were worried about me?"
"Of course. Why wouldn't I?" Bruce asked, a small smile forming on his lips.
Lois blushed slightly before turning back to look at Superman, who was now standing right in front of the two.
"Thank you for the save, Superman," Lois said, extending her hand out to the Kryptonian.
"My pleasure," Superman said, shaking the woman's hand before his attention was drawn toward Bruce who just gave him an appreciative nod. Though the look in his eyes signaled they would definitely be communicating about things later.
As Bruce and Lois moved towards the hallway, Lois spotted Y/N who was standing close to the door peeking inside.
"Oh Y/N, there you are! Thank goodness, you're alright." Lois said, walking over to him and hugging him.
"Yeah, I'm ok. Are you?" He asked, looking up at the woman.
"I'm fine. I'm tougher than I look."
"That's good to hear. And, it's good to see you’re okay as well Mr. Wayne. That was scary." Y/N said, turning his attention to the billionaire.
"Yes, I'm glad I'm alright, too," Bruce said, his attention on Y/N.
"Oh, Bruce Wayne, this is Y/N L/N. He's one of our upcoming new reporters along with Clark Kent, who you've met before." Lois said, introducing the two.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Wayne," Y/N said, extending his hand out.
Bruce took it, giving the younger man a firm handshake, "The pleasure is all mine."
As the two looked at each other, Clark was standing nearby, his gaze focused on the two, his fists clenched.
'I swear to Rao...' He thought to himself, jealousy coursing through his body as he watched the two interact.
"So, Mr. Wayne, what do you think that was all about?" Y/N asked.
Bruce turned to look at the woman, an amused eyebrow raised, "He must be getting trained by you," He said, sparking a laugh from Lois and another eye roll from the Kryptonian before flying off, "And please, call me Bruce. Mr. Wayne makes me feel old."
"Bruce, then. What do you think that was all about?" Y/N asked again.
"Well, I can't be certain, but based on their words and their actions, I'd say they were a group of anarchists."
"Anarchists?"
"Yes. They're not an uncommon group. Many people are growing tired of the way things are in this country. With the state of the economy and the government, it's only a matter of time before things begin to boil over."
"So, you think this is going to happen more often?"
"I'm not sure. But, I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of them."
Y/N nodded his thoughts on the events that had transpired earlier.
"Y/N!" Clark called, interrupting the conversation.
"Clark, there you are! You had me worried sick," The smaller male said while hugging his boyfriend, missing the sharp look the taller man was throwing at the billionaire.
"I just went to alert the building security and the police. Seems everything turned alright though since Superman showed up," Clark said, wrapping an arm around the younger man's waist while still giving a side eye to Bruce who was watching with amusement.
"Yes, thank goodness he did. I'm sure we all owe him a huge thanks for his services."
"Yes, indeed we do. But, unfortunately, I must be going now. It was a pleasure meeting you, Y/N." Bruce said, extending his hand once more to the younger man, who took it, shaking it gently.
"It was a pleasure meeting you, too."
Bruce smiled at him before turning back to Lois, "And it was a pleasure seeing you again, Lois."
"Likewise, Mr. Wayne."
Bruce smirked, "I do believe we're a bit past the formalities now, Lois. Please, call me Bruce."
"Of course. Bruce." The woman replied, her tone flirty and her expression coy.
Y/N noticed this and turned to look at Clark, whose expression was blank as he looked on.
"Will do, Lois. I look forward to our next meeting," Bruce said before stopping in front of Clark.
"Good seeing you as well Clark, as short-lived as it was," Bruce said, extending his hand out for a handshake.
Clark reluctantly took it, the handshake lasting longer than was necessary.
"Likewise," Clark replied.
Bruce nodded, his eyes giving the reporter a knowing look before he was escorted out by security.
Once the billionaire was out of sight, Clark and Y/N decided to leave as well, making their way towards the elevator.
"Well, that was a crazy day," Y/N said.
"Yeah, tell me about it."
"Do you think Bruce Wayne knows Batman?"
Clark stopped mid-step, a shocked expression on his face as he looked down at his boyfriend.
"Are you serious right now? You can't be serious?" The taller man said with an indignant expression.
"What?"
"You're still thinking of Batman after Superman just came and saved everyone?"
"Well, yeah. I mean, he's a hero too. They both are. Besides, Superman is always getting most of the credit, don't you think? It would make sense if they were working together. You know, the world's greatest detective and the world's greatest hero, solving crime and catching the bad guys. Wouldn't that be so cool?" Y/N asked, his eyes gleaming with excitement at the thought.
"No, not really. I don't see why that would be a good idea," Clark said, rolling his eyes.
Y/N sighed, "Clark, remember what we talked about earlier about it not being a competition?"
Clark looked down at the smaller man, his eyes filled with frustration, "Yeah, but it doesn't mean you have to obsess over Batman. Superman is just as obsessed-worthy!"
"Clark, seriously, what is up with you? It's not like I want to marry him or something."
"You're acting like you want to," Clark mumbled under his breath.
"What?"
"Nothing."
"Look, Clark. I'm not going to say I'm not a fan of Batman. I mean, I think he's cool. But, that doesn't mean that I'm not a fan of Superman either. I'm a fan of both of them. I think they're both great heroes, and I think they both do good work."
"But, you don't think that Batman is cooler, or that he's better than Superman?" Clark asked, his expression pleading.
"I mean, I guess. But, why does that matter? Why are you so hung up about this?"
"Because, I—" Clark started before stopping, knowing he was about to give away his identity.
"You what?"
"I just want you to think of me, is all," Clark said, looking down at the ground, feeling a bit embarrassed.
Y/N's heart softened at the confession, the older man looking like a little kid who just got his favorite toy taken away. He stepped forward, cupping the taller man's face in his hands, causing him to look up.
"Clark, I do think about you. I think about you all the time and I love how protective you are of me. Whether I like Batman or Superman more isn't going to change that" Y/N said, trying his best to ease his boyfriend's fears.
"Promise?" Clark asked.
Y/N chuckled, "I promise."
"Good," Clark smiled while leaning down to place a kiss against his boyfriend's lips, "You should still like Superman more."
Y/N rolled his eyes, "Sure thing, Clark. I'll work on that."
"Thank you."
"Whatever. Now come on, we now have a celebratory date to go on." Y/N said as he grabbed Clark's hand.
"What are we celebrating?" Clark asked with a laugh as he was pulled towards the elevator.
It was always adorable watching the smaller male pull Clark around like it was nothing.
"Surviving our first criminal encounter together," Y/N said while hitting the first-floor button.
"First?"
"Honey, we live in a city with sky-high insurance because a superhero lives here. You really think this will be the last?"
He definitely doesn't.

Something that really annoys me about Adrien salters is them going on and on about Adrien being irresponsible and messing up and how that means he doesn't "deserve" to get more responsibility, or know shit or even that he should have had his miraculous taken away.
Like, I'll grant that that if you look at how Adrien is written canonically and compares him to an objective standard of what makes a good hero that he wouldn't pass. But then Marinette wouldn't either. She would fail way worse than him and that's even before all thr bullshit she pulled in s4-s6.
Yet Maribug gets all the praise, the power, knowledge and authority. She's described as the greatest ladybug ever. While Adrien, her supposedly "equal partner" get shafted and thrown to the sidelines and mistreated, often by Maribug herself!
Neither of them, as written by canon, really make for good heroes compared to other heroes in other media (in large part because the writing barely lets them learn and grow). But saying that Adrien specifically doesn't deserve to be a hero while acting like Marinette is perfectly fine and there's no issue with how she failed upwards into so much power and responsibility is so insane and clearly biased.
Also, hot take but Adrien was perfetly justified in his actions in Syren. He wasn't "throwing a tantrum while people were drowning". He was trying to force answers about what the hell was going on from the only person he could while there was literally nothing he could do to stop the akuma. They already tried to fight the akuma and failed! Ladybug fucked off for someplace he had no clue about, for reasons he wasn't told (other than she's going to get help). He'd been waiting for a while now while she went to talk to master Fu, talk to him and have Fu get back to him. As far as he knew (going off previous precedent) Ladybug would show up with a new fish heroes with some kind of underwater powers who would defeat the akuma single handedly.
If he wasn't threatening Plagg with quitting (and I tend to believe it was more a threat to try and get Plagg to talk rather than a true attempt to quit considering that's literally how he used it as) then he still couldn't do anything to help the drowning people. He couldn't even prepare something and use the time effectively while Ladybug was gone because he knew fuck all about when she would be back and what help would she bring which was the problem he was trying to fix.
---
If Miraculous was an actual teen hero show that followed the structure of a teen hero show, Adrien would be a fine hero. The point of teen heroes is that they start off not fully grasping the responsibility they have and then grow into it with time. Frankly, looking at the examples of irresponsibility on Adrien’s track record, it’s nothing out of the ordinary or anything career-breaking. Hell, the stuff Marinette has done mostly includes stuff done by other superheroes.
The difference is how they react when they’re proven to have done something irresponsible. Adrien, every single time, takes responsibility for his own actions and makes amends. The whole doormat hypeman act he has going on in season 6 is specifically because he’s taken responsibility for the supposed crime of not supporting Ladybug enough. As for him giving up his Miraculous and “threatening to quit”, I will die on the hill that every time he gave up his Miraculous, it was done with good reason and in the most secure way he could while still following the secret identity rule that he knows is strictly enforced with him.
Marinette will self-flagellate and therefore accept responsibility on paper, but she doesn’t make amends. She doesn’t do anything differently with the people she’s failed even after admitting she’s failed them. She shouldn’t have lied to Cat Noir, gonna lie to him some more. She shouldn't stalk Adrien, gonna stalk any girl he talks to. Should treat Adrien as a person, gonna deny him the right to protect his free will and gaslight him about his dad. Marinette might say she accepts responsibility, but she keeps doing the same things to the same people, sometimes she does worse.
In comparison to Marinette, Adrien is a true hero. Almost anyone else who takes up a Miraculous to help others is more of a hero than Marinette. No one but Marinette needs to be told they’re the bestest, most specialest Miraculous holder to ever exist before they stop pouting at the idea of there being other holders before them. No other character is that petulant and insecure about the very idea of someone else holding the same powers as Marinette was in ‘The Pharaoh’.
It perfectly encapsulates how the writers feel about their protagonist. They’re so insecure, they have to make all the characters tell the audience that Marinette is the best, they have to keep diminishing the roles of cool characters to lessen there being any competition, and they can’t stand the idea of an episode prioritizing someone other than Marinette. Amphibia made an episode where Anne and Sprig were a throwaway gag about how they weren’t in the episode and it still felt so much like an Amphibia episode that I hadn’t even thought about how the main characters hadn’t shown up until then. The one time Miraculous tried something like that, it was a special flip episode of what other characters were doing during ‘Truth’. They made a huge deal about this being an Adrien-focused episode and, frankly, they didn’t really have him do anything interesting in it, showcasing their lack of interest in Adrien’s character (or any character other than Marinette and their precious prequel cast).
Also, this reminds me of the one thing everyone rags on and on about whenever the topic of solo heroing comes up is how Marinette has the Miraculous Ladybug healing ability, like that somehow grants Marinette inherent aptitude to heroics, and how Adrien should be Mister Bug if he was to become a solo hero. But here’s the real kicker: Marinette is the only superhero whose series I’ve watched or read who needs a magical cure-all to save the day from their own collateral damage. Like, her superpowers literally include the ability to dodge consequences for her choices. Marinette is only focused on winning, so of course she needs a superpower to make the collateral damage go away.
Meanwhile, Adrien has the literal power of destruction and is still so calculating and controlled in what he destroys in order to get the edge against an enemy. He’s the one concerned for the well-being of victims outside of merely saving the day. He argues in favor of defending Chloé, when Marinette actively abandons her to whatever Illustrator wants to do to her. He questions if there could be a morally right reason to use the wish, before deciding that "no". He’s the one who says that Bob Roth suffering no consequences for continuously screwing people over with his power and prestige is wrong, even as he also agrees that they still have to protect him from the consequences of his actions (note that the Akumas after him don’t want to harm him and always have mostly harmless powers unless you’re Bob Roth). Chloé has survived being humiliated by the Akumas she caused before is all I’m saying (but I’ll add that this show’s apologia of rich CEOs started early). The point is that Adrien actually gives consideration to what his moral duties as a hero are and what kind of hero he wants to be, Marinette does whatever she wants that’s easiest for her and then magics the damage away.
Adrien is a leagues better hero than Marinette is. I’d even go far as to say that Adrien is a good hero, period, he’s just stuck in a series where that doesn’t mean anything.

i was in a magma and drew out an idea that's been doormant in my head for a while ft bifauxnen nyo france
the background is in a kind of. slice of life yuri setting(again sorry). france is local princely girl that drives the other female students cuhrazy!!!(well... they're probably in an all girls school in this setting). she has a rosey aura and a handsome androgynous charm(that doesn't rly translate cz my style is so girly.) etc etc... italy is also a notable girl of this nature and is def in a slightly diff way from france but i think she charms girls too ❤️ (ciao~~ and such)
anyways. in these daydreams i think france would see ame and be like what a shame... she has potential... instead of pouting she should be brooding... she could be... a handsome woman! (france looking out the window where ame is kicking and tripping in the mud in her pe uniform and laughing stupidly) she just needs to stop it with that dumb grin. it makes her look more like a fool... and italy's like ohhh her? she's nice 😊 i think i saw her in the astrology club... and then it hits france(now for some reason). she's like I am going to Help her in this. I can make that potential bloom. (drags italy for some reason)(italy's scratching her head).
anyways france bothers ame like pops out of nowhere and talks about random shit and is like yeah yeah STOP! stop. okay. look at me. yes. stop smiling. turn your head slightly. No not that way. a little lower. i said a LITTLE. just a tilt. yes. okay. hmmm........... i knew it! i am never wrong! and ame's like ??? um okay weirdo. laughing awkwardly and france is like NO. WHAT DID I JUST SAY. stay in that face. the other one. just stand still. look at the window. (and ame's getting annoyed at this point.) Don't pout. if you have to be upset, brood. don't pout like a kid. now ame's getting irritated like fuck off man what are you on about. france grabs her by the shoulders like 😊 You want to be the coolest girl in this academy? (ame:???????????)
so anyways weird stupid gay "lessons" begin because ame is just a little curious about what this whole thing is about.(and also france called her handsome and it's funny to her that's all. it's kinda funny. i mean she insisted...)(not like she didn't know that.) but ame is like so out of it and not working with her at all. she's like what iiiis this this is stupid. cool is like heroes who burst through doors and explosions. 😒😒😒 this isn't cool. this is. lame. euughh what am i twilight? edward cullen? (france : ?no)(france is getting nauseous every second) but france is resilient(persistent). italy is more encouraging like ame! that shot of you at the window was very cool! very charming! i could see ladies fawning over you in no time! (ame: woah rly..... um....) you were like a completely different person! --- they like learn through this how ame rly reacts to praise(france is evil) so at a certain point it's like dog training. ame's like well i mean maximizing my coolness wouldn't hurt. even though i already am the coolest girl in school. haha why don't i just play along(sweating). she still thinks france has ulterior motives though because she's france(and france never compliments me this much... she usually just calls me uncultured or scary or whatever fucked up sounds she makes with her tongue that vaguely sounds like words... urg strange... she's totally planning something) and also because she's just a little bit insecure. cause actively trying to be "handsome" and "cool" like that is commitment. out of her element. and also cringe. in her head it's like is she trying to embarrass me. that's totally it?! all the compliments were mocking?! but would she(italy) rly join in like that... what are italians capable of... but she keeps going to the stupid lessons
#nyotalia#whiteboard art#hetalia au#nyo france#nyo america#nyo italy#reading this might make someone think this whole thing could just be notnyo and not much would change#wrong! wrong! okay#myart#bifauxnen au

Yandere Sides x Reader
CW// STALKING, PHYSICAL HARM, MANIPULATION AND OTHER GENERAL THEMES OF THE YANDERE TROPE ARE INCLUDED IN THIS. PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO ANY OF THESE TOPICS
A/N: Finally I got these out of my system!! Ive been wanting to write yandere content for a long time now but my inspiration was lacking. I may follow up with a yandere reader next ;)
Roman
His feelings blossomed for you the second he saw you.
He sometimes overshares about his deepest thoughts with others and feels a little shy about it later due to their reactions
“I would love to collect just a lock of their hair, for a keepsake”
There's definitely a shrine of objects he has from you, ranging from cups you’ve drank from to clothes you’ve worn
He writes a ridiculous amount of poetry about you, after the first month of knowing you he has already filled out 3 notebooks
He’s not shy about his admiration, just about how you may react to him showing it.
It doesn't take too long before you reciprocate his feelings, since he can come across as very charming
This includes buying you giant bouquets of roses, expensive jewelry, and fancy dinner reservations
It only makes it harder for you to reject his advances, especially when he praises you so aggressively
And by praising I mean love bombing
When you do accept his affection he loses that sense of shame, since he believes he has “won” you
He'll openly brag about stalking you, thinking you'll sigh dreamily from how much he cares about you.
He’s throwing small anniversaries for you, like the anniversary for when you first touched his hand, or when you first made eye contact
He will also love to act out plays with you, usually you're the damsel and he's the hero, and the face of someone he thinks is trying to steal you from him is on the villain.
He gets jealous a little easily, but instead of letting his frustration out through violence, he isolates himself.
It takes you at least an hour of reassurance before he feels as though you actually love him, deep down he’s extremely insecure
You have to make some ridiculous promise to him for him to believe you, like agreeing to let him have some of your eyelashes or something like that.
He’s relatively easy to manage actually
Virgil
You probably think he hates you for a long time
He walks away whenever you’re in a room and glares at you from afar
Poor thing is just so conflicted with his emotions
On one hand, he wants to take you away, keep you in his room and stay locked away with you forever
On the other hand, he knows those aren’t normal thoughts and thinks that if he can get you out of his head, he’ll be normal again.
He eventually convinces himself he needs to get his inner thoughts out of his system by indulging slightly, leading to him stealing your clothes and taking pictures of you
One thing leads to another, and suddenly he has your entire schedule and secret about you engrained in his brain before he's done so much as spoken a word to you.
You will either have to be the one to confess to him to discover his feelings about you, or walk in his room and see the wall of pictures he has hung up of you.
After this, assuming you accept his feelings, he does a 180
He's constantly hanging around you, even waiting outside the bathroom while you shower
He would be in there with you, but you had to beg him to let you shower alone
He also get's bad anxiety attacks over his concern for you.
If you're eating, he insist on trying the food first because he's convinced someone who's jealous of your love for him is trying to poison you
Alternatively, he may randomly accuse you of not loving him, which leads to heavy isolation on his part.
After a few hours, he comes out and apologizes for being too dramatic and wants you show you something he did to make it up to you
He shows you a notebook, its filled with intelligible scrabbles of your name and deep rooted desires he has, along with pictures of you and locks of hair with dates they were collected underneath
He’s smiling softly, as if awaiting some kind of praise from you for his efforts
Patton
He's so sweet, nobody even knows what he's like inside
He's not shy about his affection either, hugging you every time he sees you, taking a deep inhale of the scent of your hair.
Even if he does something a little strange, like embracing you for a little longer than normal, everyone else just deems it as Patton being his slightly weird self
He loves baking for you so much, almost every time he sees you he has a treat for you
He even mentions at one point that he would love if you only ever ate the food he made, and you laugh it off, but you shivered seeing the deadpan expression on his face
If you do develop feelings for him, his physical affection just gets worse
He insist you always sit on his lap, and his hands are under your shirt holding your tummy
He almost treats you like a doll, insisting that he knows what's best for you and since he's older than you he knows better
He even likes to dress you up, your wardrobe consists of pajama onesies and his own clothes
You have to beg him to let you wear normal clothes to work, to which he says there's no need for you to worry about that since he plans on taking care of you.
A lot of his power comes from seeming very caring and honest, which he is, but you feel too shy to disobey, since at the end of the day he only wants to take care of you
He’s also very clumsy
There's some stuff he’d rather not let you find out but sometimes it just slips from his mouth
“I already know your favorite flavor of cake, hun, you get it every year for your birthday!”
“We’ve only known each other a few months, how would you know that…”
“…oops.”
However, he can be focused when he needs to be, like if someone was getting a little too close to you
It'd take a lot for him to even want to hurt someone for you, they would have to push his buttons for a while, but eventually it does happen.
You never really find out what he does, and he tells you not to worry about it, but since then you've never seen them again
Logan
He's probably the hardest to manage
Prior to any confession, he will seem like he doesn't like you
He sees you as an inconvenience for a while, since you keep on popping into his head at times where he's attempting to work or rest
And eventually , the creeping thoughts begin to grow, such as taming you and teaching you the right way to act.
His thoughts on shaping you into an ideal person slowly start to turn into shaping you into his ideal person.
He manages to convince himself that he sees you as an obstacle, yet he can't help himself from the ways he'd train and groom you into a better, no, a perfect version of you, and thus his mission began.
It takes him a while to fully assess his own feelings, but when he does you'll know
Your conversation essentially goes the same as how it does in the "Alone On Valentines Day" episode when he was flirting with Valerie, except when Virgil was showing him how the conversation would realistically go
"Would you like life long companionship and someone to have a general care of your well being at all times?"
"I suppose...?"
"Then you shall be my partner"
“Uhh…”
Before you could really even deny or protest, he begins to list out the rules of your relationship
You can't stay out too late, must wear what he wants you to wear, etc
You would deny, but he has already deemed what seems like ownership over you
He has such rules in place since he wants to keep you around as long as possible, and to do that he has to cut out a lot of things in your life that bring you, what he calls, "destructive satisfaction"
He eventually considers your friends destructive, and isolates you from them
Any sign of resistance from you is met with instant punishment, the same someone would do with a brat acting out.
This includes caging, putting you in a dark room for days on end with no interactions socially until he's convinced you've learned your lesson
Others don't notice much of a difference in his behavior, he's just as stoic as he usually is, but maybe he's a little less snappy than usually, and slightly more lax with others
But when someone remembers how you suddenly changed from who you once were, they just assume that a few conversations with Logan was all it took.
Remus
He is not subtle at ALL
He openly talks about his admiration for you, and unlike Roman, is not shy about how he wants to show it
You know about his obsession with you the moment he knows about it
He loves toying with you, seeing your disturbed expression when he talks about murdering your loved ones so you only depend on him is too cute!
Any push back on your part is almost instantly retaliated against, his personality does a 180, and he's no longer giggly and smiling
His brows are furrowed, and pupils dilated
Unlike some others, he's not against physically harming or threatening you
He may leave cuts on your body or kidnap one of your friends and threaten to kill them if you don't take what you said back
He's more of a Yangire but oh well
After these outburst, you're likely very upset after, but he's not completely a monster
He'll try to make it up to you, in his own messed up way
This is usually by bringing you expensive gifts to decorate you or forcing his tongue down your throat
He also loves biting
At least with him, you don't have to worry about being isolated, as he lets you go out as long as you have at least 5 fresh bites visible on your body
Lets not forget tentacles people!!!
The suckers are seraded, and he uses this to his advantage
If he wants you to come to him, and you're either A: not coming fast enough or B: he just feels like it
When he gets you to him, it usually includes some very intimate cuddling and what he considers praise
"You know I'll kill for you, right? I have before and I will again."
Janus
This is not his first time playing this game
He usually likes messing with others through manipulative tactics
But you? Oh, you sparked his interest the way nobody else ever has
He has to have you to himself
He starts off by acting normal, nobody else even thinks to question his behavior
Your interactions are so innocent and genuine
But instead of forcing you away from your loved ones, he starts rumors
These rumors cause them to hate you, and soon you realize Janus is the only one in your life you can trust
Before you know it, you've completely fallen for him, and he didn't have to do anything but say a few white lies
It just proves to him that he's the only one who deserves you from how easily the others abandoned you
This gives him a complex over you, and he sees himself as a shepherd for you
He calls you his sweet, innocent, lamb, and buys you all white clothes that he insist you wear to show off how innocent you truly are
The problem is, to hkm, innocent and naive are the same word to him
He never forces you, but you find yourself not being able to deny him
Your greatest pleasure comes from pleasing him, whether that be serving him food, washing and ironing his clothes, or simply responding to when he calls you lamb
You become completely dependent on him, and your life prior to meeting to him becomes a faint memory
If you ever do find out what he did to get you in this situation, he will have to force you to stay his obedient little lamb
This is done through hypnotization
He holds your face close, forcing your eyes to look into his, and they being to swirl
He repeats a mantra "You're my lamb, and you will do what I say"
You can't escape his grasp it's strong like an anaconda, and you're soon loosing your train of thought
You're from then on is empty, only filled with direct orders from him
You didn't know it at the time, but that first time you smiled at him was when you had already lost this game.

I just realized that there is literally zero fanfics with Danny Fenton/M'gann M'orzz pairing and idk, am I the only one who see nearly endless potential in it?
I don't know how they met but they're probably pretty fast friends.
With Danny being space nerd, he would ask M'gann all the questions about Mars. At the same time, from what little I know about Miss Martian, she is "Earth nerd" and would ask him all the questions about Earth and what normal teenage life is like, because YL team is not the best study case. Like, only Wally and maybe Artemis (I don't know a thing about her other than 'snarky/blunt archer') had normal human life. He is happy to answer, introducing her to his semi normal life before accident.
They exchanged stories about stars from their respective homes.
Just imagine, Danny binge watching "Hello Megan" just to know what she is talking about and it's not his thing, really, but he learnt to enjoy it because he associated it with M'gann (we can have Jazz being fan too and feeling 'betrayed' because she tried to strongarm her brother to watch it for years and all it took was to cute alien girl to mention it and he is pulling all nighters).
Just imagine, M'gann asking one of her teammates (probably Robin) to teach her to play Doomed, so she can play with her halfa friend and his friends and not ask about every controller. They don't really mind her being newbie but sudden progress doesn't go unnoticed or unpraised.
Everlasting trio inviting her to Nasty Burger every once in a while to talk about random, not hero related things.
Rest of the YJ may not even know about Phantom. They just know about this Danny, M'gann's totally civilian friend, who likes milkshakes and video games.
They share their stories and tips about heroing and powers they have similar. Mostly M'gann shares things she learnt from her uncle or in Mountain because let's be honest, self taught is rarely better than someone with proper mentoring. She for sure helps with ghosts if they attack during her visit, even if Danny tries to shield her from it. "I'm supposed to be your civilian friend, am I not?"
She definitely does what she can to help with his hero PR. She may or may not accidentally convinced rest of the Team she has celebrity crush on underappreciated ghost hero from the middle of the nowhere. They help her, spamming all negative news reports with praises for Phantom from both hero and civilian accounts. It caused some mess, Justice League had questions but Danny was happy so it doesn't matter.
If we go with ghost being super emphatic we can have Danny overwhelmed by everyone's feelings (honest hate his parents have towards his hero persona, confliction of towns people, concern of his friends, excitement of Casper students idk, EVERYTHING) and M'gann helps him overcome it. Later both of them being there for eachother when everything was just too much. Y'know just this mutual understanding that nobody else can really give them.
Maybe some communication troubles because M'gann prefers telepathy and Danny does not like it in a slightest (Freakshow flashbacks or something) but tries to accommodate. Or M'gann doesn't even try because idk, one of telepathy rules is "don't read thoughts of dying person unless they project it to you" and she feels it goes for dead (even if only halfway) too.
They're just vibing with eachother.
Then there is ghost attack outside Amity and Team is send to deal with it. M'gann is surprisingly competent at dealing with everything ghost does while evacuating civilians while someone magic competent is called. Suddenly she stops, gets her phone and makes a call:
"Hey Danny, do you have a moment?" whole team is too shocked to react, because in the love of whatever they believe in, why is Megan calling her civilian friend in the middle of the battle with unknown entity. "It's [insert whatever ghost you want] wrecking havoc. Can you come by at take them to the zone? I don't have thermos on me right now. Thank you."
WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?
Que Danny flying top speed to wherever she is, fights a ghost and contains them. Que someone (maybe Wally) being like:
"When did you wanted to tell us that your civilian friend is a hero?"
M'gann honest to god forgot that Team thought Danny was a civilian.
"I worked quite hard to drag her into as little of my Phantom bullshit as I could. I am proud of being a civilian friend, thank you very much"
They all came in contact together after that.
Martian Manhunter tried to give Fenton a shovel talk but boy was too excited to meet his favourite hero and to focused on not making fool of himself to be actually scared or something. He deals with Skulker on a regular basis anyway, there are very few threats that could actually scare him.
Team members also tried to shovel talk him, just in case. They all failed for one reason or another
Or maybe Danny is already YJ member. Everything above can still happen just without ghost attack. Danny can have issues with Zeta Tubes though. That's a good stuff.
There can be a drama of "I'm your friend only because I'm alien/semi normal, am I not?"
Or we can go with space obsessed Danny going full Vlad on cute alien girl. Y'know, because "that's a halfa thing to do". M'gann is not into that. I'm not really excited about this take but that's a possibility too.
Use it as you will. Just please someone write it

With that other ask saying Luz has no future in the human realm right now, especially since she’s a nonwhite LGBT girl who Republicans would want dead for existing, I thought of something else:
If TOH’s finale aired now, would people react more negatively to Luz living in the human realm and going to human school at the end? She was definitely shown to be more at home in the BI, and again, everyone in power would want her dead or deported or *something*. Recently someone made a joke to me about how you couldn’t do The Wizard of Oz nowadays since Dorothy would have absolutely no reason to go back to Kansas. Luz was better off in the Boiling Isles than in a world that hates her for existing.
Please reply.
[Rubs temples]. Guys, guys. Luz is fictional. Her world is not our own. Gravesfield is not depicted as being an unwelcoming place. Her "not fitting in" was just her having trouble in school and two bitchy ladies in the park that she didn't even overhear. She is "more at home" in the BI because it's the place where she can actually do magic, not because Gravesfield was such a horrible place to live in. Camilla and Vee live there full time and no one is worried about them.
Heck, when we do see Gravesfield, it's really not a bad place to live! Masha is able to be out about their gender identity at work, Vee finds friends, Jacob loses his job and gets arrested for assault, two random students praise Luz after her classroom freakout! How is this place so terrible?
Y'all need to stop projecting your own fears and anxieties onto the show, especially when the text demonstrates the opposite of what you're afraid of.
As for that joke your friend made about The Wizard of Oz, you know when that movie came out?
1939.
The final year of the Great Depression. Does the movie go into the world's worst economic crisis? No, because it's about a young girl learning to stand up for herself and not run away from her problems. Kansas is boring and dreary in comparison to the bright and whimsical Oz, but it's still her home, it's where her family is. You could absolutely make it today because it's styled like a classic fairy tale instead of dealing with the gritty reality of 1930s America.
Toh is also a fairy tale. It has straight forward morals, simple characterization, clear distinctions between good and evil, and a happy ending. Any gestures at complexity or subversions are superficial at best. It does not deal with politics or current events. Luz is never in any danger in Gravesfield, she just wants to live out her fantasies and quite frankly, the show is not very good at showing that her life is terrible. We don't even see her get bullied, it's simply told to us.
On a final note, since some people get upset when the hero has to leave the cool fantasy world, the Hero usually has to return home from the Fantasy World because it's a metaphor for growing up/growth/accepting change, etc. Anne is separated from Amphibia seemingly forever. Dipper and Mabel were only supposed to be in Gravity Falls for the summer. Dorothy leaves Oz. Change is inevitable and you can't live in the Fantasy World forever. There are exceptions of course, but that all depends on how the Fantasy World functions in the story. In toh's case, the function of the BI is muddled because there's no clear contrast between it and Gravesfield. The show wants you to think that this place is better for her but it never put in the work to demonstrate why. Luz doesn't really grow much as a character either, her priorities just shift. So in the end, the BI is basically a power fantasy for Luz. She would only find Gravesfield intolerable to live in because she can't do magic, not because of some fault with the town.
Here are the previous asks for anyone curious.

Arc 1: Pre-Entrance Exam
Yeah, the name is a work in process...
So, this will detail everything of importance that happened before the Entrance Exam.
-
The first change we're made aware of is the fact that Izuku works out. The beginning scene would be the same, with Izuku defending a boy from Bakugou and his lackies. He will black out and the narrative would say 'Not all men are created equal'.
Then we cut to Izuku in the middle of working out. He's got muscle on him, like his form after Dagobah, and when he's done, Izuku further narrates his life. Diagnosed quirkless at the age of four, Bakugou going from mean to horrible, almost giving up on his dreams...
That is until Hisashi tells him about pre-quirk media. And, desperate to find some sort of figure he could relate to, Izuku takes it all in. He watches every anime, every movie, everu gameplay, reads every book that he can.
And in it he finds hope.
We're shown that he's been working out since he was eight, when he first got into pre-quirk media, and Hisashi had sent him a katana to fight with as a way to substitute a quirk.
However, even though he's strong and knows how to fight, even back then, it doesn't change his treatment.
Everything, (other than the fact that Izuku put more effort into his dream), is the same as canon. The teacher reveals that Izuku wants to go to U.A., Bakugou is somehow threatened by this and threatens Izuku, burns his notebook, and tells him to off himself.
Except, instead of only being hurt and not actually considering ending his life, Izuku think about it. He thinks about how easy it would be to fall on his katana, or leap from the roof. The only reason he doesn't is because he doesn't want to ruin Bakugou's chances at heroism, which he would if he went through with it.
Again, canon events happen. Sludge monster attacks and Izuku immediately takes back wanting to die because it felt awful. All Might saves him, tells him he can't become a hero and takes him off the roof. When All Might leaves, Izuku looks back at the roof and considers it once more.
Explosions distract him and he finds himself automatically walking towards the scene despite wanting to go home.
A la canon, he rushes in when he sees Bakugou's face. Not because he's Bakugou, but because he's a scared, dying child.
He runs in, and his analytical prowess is shown in a much better light, as well as his physical. He grabs a pen from his bag and shoves it into the Sludge Villain's eye, then uses his bag to move the sludge, freeing Bakugou's arm enough for izuku to grab and pull.
The heroes on scene actually do something. Death Arms runs in to protect the two of them, and Kamui Woods aims from further away. Izuku directs them to a victory, having Backdraft dillute the villain so he's easier to seperate, having Mount Lady shrink so she can fit inside the alley. Ordering Bakugou to blast off a hanging sign above the Sludge Villain, causing enough pain to the villain's eyes and teeth - the only solid parts - for him to be knocked out.
They're then rushed to the hospital, though Izuku is still scolded for being reckless, and Bakugou praised for being 'brave'. Bakugou tells Izuku to not look down on him, and Izuku snaps. He tells him that he is the only reason Bakugou is still alive.
All Might does not come.
-
Izuku decides that reacting to Bakugou's taunts only encouraged him, so he decides to start ignoring him completely, even when he's terrified.
To prepare further for the exam, he decides to clean Dagobah, after a news outlet shows a before and after image. He also requests help, because this isn't just for him. It's for the people.
There, he meets Kirishima and Ashido, where we see his quirk analysis skills, dissecting both of their quirks and preparing for hate, but recieving praise in stead. He still has not told them that he's quirkless.
During this time, there's a public scandal, leading to people wanting a hero, called 'Master of None: Jack', to have his licence revoked and be put behind bars. He's an example of a corrupt hero, who allowed and watched civillians die, most of them being mutants. He is revealed to have previously worked at U.A. before he was let go, so Nedzu makes a statement about it, promising to make sure they do not create any future heroes like him.
Inside U.A., Nedzu hosts a staff meeting, where he bans Aizawa from sleeping during class, and he cannot expel anyone without consulting Nedzu first. It's also revealed that Aizawa does not mark any 'expelled' students records, merely says they're expelled and invites them back into school a week later.
He also changes the entrance exam, which we'll discuss in a later post.
-
-
So, to summarise:
Izuku works out and we're shown this
Bakugou is still a bully, even after Izuku saves him, and the suicide dare still happens
All Might tells Izuku he cannot become a hero, and does not approach him after the fights
Izuku directs the heroes to a victory, but is still told off for interfering while Bakugou is praised
Izuku starts cleaning Dagobah and meets Kirishima and Ashido through this
We get an example of a corrupt hero
Nedzu changed the entrance exam

Do you have an opinion on why Horikoshi didn’t show us Tomura’s reaction to Twice’s death? Do you think the author intended for him to seem so indifferenf about it or was Tomura just never even aware of what had happened?
Yes, I do have an opinion, though, of course, it's just me.
From a Watsonian perspective... first Tomura had no idea about it, as when it happened he wasn't there, then, when the League finally reached him, they first had no time to inform him and then he got possessed. First we see that AFO is in control, then part of Tomura's personality starts to mix with it but, when he faces Star and Stripes, the Tomura part is still so small that when the latter tries using his Quirk on him it didn't work because Tomura is a mix of him and AFO with no clear understanding of who he is...
(Horikoshi even described his clothes as a mix of their respective tastes).
Shigaraki will be mostly dormant, until Midoriya will face him.
So the worst part is it's possible the league told him about Twice's death later on but... he wasn't enough of himself to react to it... because we know AFO couldn't care less about people.
From a Doylist perspective this could be part of why Horikoshi didn't show it, because if Tomura weren't to have a reaction because he was possessed, well... it wouldn't have been really interesting to see.
My most optimistic opinion is that Horikoshi trusted us readers to know if Tomura had been himself he would have suffered for Twice's death, maybe quietly, because we don't see him wailing when Magne died but he surely wasn't happy about it so he didn't feel the need to tackle it.
My middle opinion is that narratively Twice's death was meant to be Himiko's point of tragedy so he didn't want any other character to be equally involved, in fact, even if it's easy to assume Shuuichi was in pain for it, we hardly see him react, not because he feels nothing but because the narrative wants us to focus on Himiko.
My most defeatist opinion is that Horikoshi didn't want to remark too much how Twice's death was terrible. It's true in Japan law enforcerers can kill someone judged a threat even when he's escaping and we see the Heroes were all way too willing to kill an unconscious Tomura, but still there's no real challenging of this idea even if Midoriya and Co shouldn't be supposedly so prone to do it.
Hawks will insists Jin was a decent guy but that's it...
...and, even though the public was shocked by his death (because Heroes can but normally don't kill, especially on television) and the Hero students aren't that prone to murder, no one who is outside the league truly cares. As the situation will represent itself, Hawks will make the same call...
...a sign he doesn't truly regret his actions (and AFO seems to praise them in a way). In the end an Himiko clone will only manage to scratch Hawks' cheek...
...without even managing to give him a scar.
Showing people openly suffering for Jin's death, would mean criticizing Heroes, remarking even more that Villains too are human, that they shouldn't be dismissed so easily, that it was cruel to do so, which would have dimmed how the teenager Heroes were against it, because it wouldn't be just this amazing thing from them not to want to kill their Villains, but merely the right human behavior and Horikoshi didn't seem interested in showing this.
So well, those are my two cents on this. Thank you for your ask!

can I talk about about Miraculous Team from s2 finale? I'm going to talk about Mireaculous Team from s2 finale
IT HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL
Like, narratively, at the end of s2 Hawkmoth got a new powerful ally Mayura, who can create senti-beings, which makes Akuma much more powerful than before. Even if LB and CN know that the peacock miraculous is damaged, they don't know to what extent and how exactly it affects its holder. The fact that Mayura even goes through wielding damaged miraculous already shows her huge trust and support of Hawkmoth and whatever his plan is.
So as the power of the antagonist grows, the protagonists also need to become stronger. The antagonist should always be a step ahead, BUT the protagonist should follow not so far after them because if not, it would be atomic bomb vs coughing baby. So LB and CN on their side, have themselves, a box of miraculouses, master Fu(debatable but okay), and some power-up additions. Only the 5-min rule after transformation is still present, they can't go around to give away all miraculouses because then it would be a repeat of the butterfly miraculous situation, and master FU isn't exactly helpful(especially later in the season where he is literally hunted by HM)
So. LB and CN need help
And if bad guys can team up, why can't good guys team up too?
And so we have a Mirauculous Team with now extended use of mirauclouses! We have Rena Rouge, who is secretly Alya, best friend of Marinette (or secterly LB), whose lifelong dream was to be a superhero. Now, I am sure, that being a superhero and having access to ALLL information that was hidden from the public, would go great for a young journalist who already had some fuck-ups and posting not great information. Also, sometimes your dream of a superhero doesn't match with reality! So is it really worth it to be a superhero? Sure, you want to help but are you really capable of providing such help if your first thought is content for your blog? Also also NOW IT"S YOUR TURN TO LIE TO YOUR FRIENDS. How does that feel?
And we have Carapace, who is Nino, best friend of Adrien, whose literal definition is being chill. Sure when needed, he will rise to the occasion, but again - is it really worth being a hero? Nino is a good person, he fought tooth and nail to get Adrien his birthday party, but saving the whole world? Nino?? The simple guy who just loves his friends and family and wants them to be okay??? That guy???? Also also LB and even sometimes CN would talk hours about responsibility and how important miraculouses are, but like...aren't they making it worse? Maybe the HM would fuck off after awhile, if other miraculouses didn't show up. Maybe the path of least resistence IS sometimes a good path. Why no one talks about it?
And last but not least we have Queen Bee or Chloe Bourgeois, the person who literally no one wanted to have a miraculous in the first place but it happened so we ball I guess. Chloe really admires LB but you know how idols tend to be when you actually meet them. And yeah okay, Chloe fucks up a lot in the first months of having a miraculous on semi-permanent base and LB criticize her, but she always tries to make up with expensive goods and screaming how much LB is better than anyone else. She doesn't understand why LB keeps asking her to treat normally. How LADYBUG can be a normal person??? She is a goddess, someone so cool and realized and everyone loves her and she keeps getting praise for just existing and...why does LB sometimes seem to be so human, so exhausted and stressed? That doesn't make sense...also also now that Chloe has miraculous she can't lose it. She needs to be better, to keep miraculous. But what does this "better" entitle? Better at battle, at powers, at SCHOOL?? How would famous Abry react to that I wonder?
As a cherry on top, we have LB and CN trying to learn how is it to work in a bigger team, to share responsibility and to help each other. It was them for a while and now there are new people and change is scary. How would that affect the love square?
The most important bit is that all members of the Miraculous Team have connections to LB and CN civilian life. They are all intervened, and they are all people we know and love and want to know more about! Sure, a lot of conflicts I brought up based on some of my vague ideas, but they could be explored!
The arc where Alya posts some crucial miraculous info on her blog, which HM notices and uses in the next battle, which hurts some of the members of the team. The arc where Nino is so convinced he is not cut out for hero life he practically searches for excuses to be put out of the team (one of the battles really scared his little brother and Nino wasn't there to help. If he cannot help his brother, how can he help the whole city?). The arc where Chloe tries to be good, is more or less okay at it, and then fails spectacularly(does it mean they will take her miraculous please no she can't lose pollen she can't lose someone who loves her as she is pleas no)
As a bonus, we could have had a Master FU BEING AN ACTUAL MENTOR INSTEAD OF just some lore-exposition guy. If he is so guilty about his past mistakes, well, here are 5 traumatized teenagers, the least you could do is actually help them. And no, not only Marinette, give others some advice too.
By the end of s2 we would have a good team of characters we already loved and now love even more, that are complicated and interesting AND GUESS WHAT the formula of "marinette has a problem with her life, akuma somehow related to it happens, LB fight it, everything is resolved, Marinette has some real-life lesson" STILL WORKS. Just now we can pair up Marinette with some other characters and if they happen to learn something too then GOOD. Kids can draw parallels and understand the lesson regardless
I just love those kids....I think they had a really good opportunity to spice up the show but leave the premise more or less the same.
And yeah we have "Miraculous Team" in s6 now, but all the points I mentioned before are non-existent now. There are too many people, for an antagonist who is so far less threatening than HM. It can change but that wouldn't fix the whole issue. All of Marinette's class doesn't have this much connection to her, as her literal best friend, her childhood friend, her crush and her rival/bully.
Anyway
I gushed enough(I didn't, but I am sleepy)

Kim Siblings in their free time

Summary: The siblings are talking each other, not knowing what else to do in their free time.
Note: this is a little canon divengence, so it has nothing to do with canon events of Lookism
Jake stares at his two older siblings. Correction: half-siblings.
He can't believe that he has to stare at them. Gitae was smoking from their father's pipe while Wonyoung is texting someone on the phone. Both have most bored expresions. Jake has two half-siblings that one of them is murderer and the other that he doesn't know that plans.
Wonyoung looks up at her half-brothers. "What we at this point? Let's find a topic like how much we hate that manwhore."
Jake feels the gut. While is true that he hates his father and how much he wants to talk badly about him, there is a part of him that wanders why he was left with two crazy half-siblings that are almost share the same braincells.
Wonyoung cuts the silence. "Fine, I will start first. As a woman, he is one of humanity's biggest piece of shits that ever walked on earth. I even have the biggest respect to his rival then to that guy we share the same blood with."
Jake's eyes are wild. "You respect the Great Power!? Seriously!?"
"I'm damn seriously. As an individual, I respect him. At least he didn't walk around all Japan and planted his seed everywhere. Sure that he's a yakuza, but he is like an old school yakuza."
Jake stood there. If someone told him that his half-sister respects their father's rival, he would thought that they were joking.
Wonyoung continues. "But hey, I get along with his son-"
"You mean that monster!?" Jake obviously reffers to Gun Park, the man that he despice the most. But not expect in million of years that his half-sister to have a good relationship with that bastard.
"Come on! He's not that bad. Isn't my fault that you scammed-"
Jake yells. "How do you know about that past of mine!?"
Wonyoung shrugs. "From Gun. Duh."
"My little brother scammed people. That's quite intresting." Gitae finally speeks up. How amused he is learning that his little brother was a scammer.
"Can you two stop praise my criminal records as some achivement?"
Wonyoung laughs. "You went in rebelious phrase, aren't you Jacky?"
"At least I don't kill people or backstabing them."
"Tsk. Whatever. Is not like I'm going to play hero like that manwhore."
Gitae shrugs. "I will never understand this romanticism thing."
"But that doesn't mean you won't date a woman, right?"
The eldest stares at Wonyoung. Despite he hates his father and all nonsence romanticism shit, he isn't opposed to thr idea of casual dates... if they are even worthy of his time.
Wonyoung scrols on her phone and that made Gitae to stop her. "Who's that?"
"Gun Park's aunt."
"You mean the woman who is Queen of Tokyo?"
"Yep!"
A pause then... "Damn. I didn't didn't know that this hermosa is related to Great Power's son."
Jake stares at both of them. He never heared that Gun has an aunt, nor mentionate by him. He looks at a photo from Wonyoung's phone and the stunning woman in the picture is his enemy's aunt.
Gitae smirks. "This woman wouldn't waste my time."
Wonyoung reacts. "Brother! She is a important woman is yakuza! Not some random woman that you think is a chick!"
Jake nods. "The least thing I want is to see is you with her."
"Don't give the eldest any ideas."
"What you mean?"
Wonyoung sighs. "From political perspective, this is like a golden opportunaty to secure alliances between Korea and Japan, but for Pre-Gen, this is a recipe of disaster and between us, this is to play a UNO reverse card against the manwhore."
Silence.
Gitae breaks the silence. "Not bad. I might want to meet her in person."
The youngest reacts quickly then the oldest grabing his axe. "No!"
Notes: sorry that this fanfic might be short, but I want to do a canon divengence with Kim Siblings (my OC- Wonyoung -being Gapryong's daughter) and this might out of the character for Kim Brothers but well... this is a crack fanfic, so I wrote for fun.

George has a crush on you and Niko and Chunkz play matchmaker
Warnings: none ‼️

George was busy helping to set up the Beta Squad video with Niko and the others, his eyes constantly darting over to you. As he positioned the cameras, he couldn't help but admire how easily you interacted with the group. You were so comfortable, so easy-going. So different from him.
Niko, standing next to George, noticed his gaze and grinned mischievously. He elbowed George, drawing his attention away from you.
"Hey, man, you planning to just stare at her all day?" Niko teased, noticing George couldn't keep his eyes off you.
George's cheeks flushed red, caught off guard by Niko's observation. He quickly looked away, avoiding eye contact. "Shut up, man. I was just… making sure the camera angle was good."
"Yeah, right," Niko smirked. "More like you were checking out Y/N instead of the set." He laughed, clearly enjoying himself.
George groaned, knowing Niko had seen right through him. "Shut it, Niko. You're a menace."
"Come on, mate. You're more obvious than you think. It's a miracle she hasn't noticed yet," Niko chuckled.
Just then, you walked over to them, completely unaware of their conversation.
"Hey George, hey Niko," you greeted with a smile.
Both George and Niko straightened up, their playful banter quickly shifting to polite greetings. George smiled back, his heart racing as you approached.
Niko, still smirking, pretended to adjust the camera. "We were just talking about how great you look on camera. The camera loves you, you know?"
You laughed. "Niko, stop."
George stood silently, his heart tightening at Niko’s playful compliments toward you. He discreetly glanced at you, watching how you reacted to Niko’s words.
"Thanks, but honestly, I think George is such an underrated, unofficial member of Beta Squad," you said.
George's eyebrows shot up in surprise. He hadn’t expected you to say that. Niko, amused by your comment, chuckled. "Yeah, Georgie boy here doesn't get nearly the credit he deserves. The unsung hero of the squad."
Niko winked, clearly teasing both of you now. George, flustered, ducked his head down to adjust the camera, trying to hide his rosy cheeks.
"You know, Y/N," Niko continued with a smirk, "George here would appreciate a compliment or two. He’s always behind the scenes, working hard."
George shot a glare at Niko, silently begging him to stop, but Niko only grinned wider.
You glanced at George, noticing how shy and flustered he seemed, and decided to let him off the hook. "Well, shouldn't we start filming?"
Niko laughed, putting an arm around your shoulder. "Yeah, let’s get started. We need your magic touch to save this project."
As filming began, George stayed behind the camera, doing his usual job while trying to ignore the slight jealousy he felt whenever someone praised you. Throughout the session, Niko and Chunkz kept exchanging glances and whispered words, clearly plotting something.
During a break, George stepped away from the cameras to adjust some equipment. Niko and Chunkz saw their chance and approached him.
"Hey, Georgie boy, got a sec?" Niko asked with a grin.
George eyed him warily. "Yeah, sure. What’s up?"
Chunkz grinned. "We’ve noticed you've been a bit on edge lately. Something to share with the group?"
"I don’t know what you're talking about," George muttered, looking away.
Niko rolled his eyes. "Come on, mate. We’ve all seen how you’ve been looking at Y/N."
George’s face turned bright red. "No, I haven’t," he stammered.
"Yeah, right," Chunkz laughed. "Your face says otherwise, mate. You’ve got it bad."
George sighed, glancing at you across the room. "Even if I did—which I don’t—she wouldn’t like me back."
Niko and Chunkz exchanged knowing looks. "Come on, Georgie. You’ll never know unless you try," Niko encouraged with a playful grin.
"There's nothing to admit," George insisted.
Niko raised his hands in surrender. "Alright, alright. But you should think about it."
Later, as filming resumed, Niko and Chunkz began subtly teasing you, dropping comments about how 'cool' and 'funny' George was. You started feeling flustered, your usual extroverted self suddenly shy. George, from behind the camera, noticed your strange behavior, but didn’t understand why.
Eventually, Niko couldn't resist and asked, "Y/N, what do you think about George?"
You were caught off guard, your cheeks flushing as you stammered, "George? He’s a nice guy. We’ve been friends since third grade."
Niko smirked. "Just a nice guy, huh? You sure about that?"
You felt the heat rising in your face. "Why are we talking about George?" you mumbled.
Niko grinned, pushing a little further. "Just curious. You two are pretty close, aren’t you?"
"Yeah, but… I don’t think he sees me that way," you said quietly.
Niko laughed. "Please. Men don’t look at their 'little sisters' the way George looks at you."
You buried your face in your hands. "Shut up, Niko."
George, overhearing bits of the conversation, felt his heart race. Was Niko talking about him?
During the next break, George couldn’t hold back any longer. He approached you, trying to act casual. "Hey, you okay? You seemed a little flustered earlier."
"Yeah, I’m fine," you said, though your voice sounded uncertain. "Niko and Chunkz were just teasing me."
George nodded, his heart pounding. "About what?"
"They were saying someone likes me, and I’m… conflicted about how I feel."
George's breath hitched. "Do you like them back?"
"Yeah," you nodded, keeping your head down.
George felt a mix of hope and fear. He took a deep breath. "What if I told you I like you? More than a friend."
You looked up at him, your cheeks red. "I like you too, George."
George's heart soared. He couldn't believe it. "Really?"
You smiled shyly. "Mhm."
George feels like he’s dreaming. He can’t believe this is really happening—the person he’s had feelings for for so long actually likes him back.
He reaches out, gently taking her hand in his. He gazes into her eyes, his smile big and genuine. “I… I can’t believe this is real.”
She pulls him into an embrace, feeling that holding hands isn’t enough.
George feels a surge of happiness as she embraces him. He immediately reciprocates, wrapping his arms around her tightly and pulling her close.
His heart races, and he can’t help but bury his face in her shoulder, relishing the feeling of having her so close.
Niko and Chunkz look on from a distance, both wearing knowing grins. They’ve clearly witnessed the whole scene unfold. They exchange a glance and silently high-five in celebration.
As George and she continue to hold each other, unaware that George’s camera had been discreetly recording the whole time, Niko and Chunkz chuckle quietly to themselves.
THIS WAS MY FIRST EVER REQUEST! THANK YOU SO MUCH AND I HOPE YOU LIKE IT 💞💞

JUST ABSOLUTELY LOST MY GODDAMNED MIND ABOUT ALL OF THIS. For one, it's a little stunning to see it so clearly confirmed that Tim had romantic feelings for Conner, that the series may not have said it in those specific words, but that is very much exactly what was being said here. When I first read through this, I wondered if they were trying to walk a fine line of, well, we can't just say that Robin was in love with Superboy, but you can make it clear through context, but there's something else interesting going on here--that Tim doesn't say much of anything directly to Conner himself. Bart and Cassie both seem to know more than Conner does, they both seem to get Tim to open up to them a little bit more than Conner does. He doesn't want to talk about what "phase" he's going through when Conner's there, he doesn't actually say, "I was in love with you!" when they have their big fight, despite that even Bart's like, "You two only care about each other!", despite that it's very directly clear that Tim knows what he felt back then and why he kissed Cassie. There's a bunch of things going on in this series (the trauma that these kids are still dealing with, Cassie's issues with the team, Bart feeling like he's treated as nothing but comedic relief, the villain trying to put them all back in the boxes they were in during that time, despite not understanding who they really were, the meta commentary on how fans hate new characters/heroes and praise the old days, etc.) but specifically, Kon's trauma at having died and feeling like it didn't matter, everyone just sort of moved on and he doesn't really know where to go from here, versus Tim's still digging himself out of the absolute wreck that Conner's death left him with, that it genuinely destroyed him, that he felt dead without Conner, but that he became who he was today because of how all of them affected each other, that thinking of Conner brought him back, too. But he never says it explicitly to Conner. He never says, "I was in love with you." He won't even say that he's dating a guy now, he just slides right past that, when Conner's in the room. Conner does seem to pick up on that by the end--when the various new characters are shown by the villain, Tim sees Bernard and says his name, there's a moment where Kon just looks at him and seems to understand, but it feels very much like, ohhhhh, Tim's feelings for Conner aren't necessarily over. Yeah, he's dating someone else, someone he genuinely loves, but if he can't even say the direct words to Conner, if he can't even say that he's dating a guy to Conner, that makes me really think Tim's feelings aren't as resolved as he might try to project. His emotional climax in this series is still about how Conner shaped the course of his life, his heart and his soul, that the series shows the sheer amount of history and impact they've had on each other--not always wholly good, as Bart points out that they get so wrapped up in each other, to the exclusion of the others, but that's just more fodder for the tremendous scope of their effect on each other--I just kept thinking, man, this is the kind of epic relationship fodder that I would expect from a pairing like Lois and Clark or something! Not just that feelings were there, but that those feelings entirely changed how the characters' hearts reacted. It's still kind of a novelty to get any kind of confirmation that Tim was in love with Conner, that there's hints those feelings aren't gone, but also just how big their dynamic really is and how they really do feel like one of those supercouples that have an epic story to tell.
